The Body of the Cosmic Logos, Part 2
The Greater Lives

We have thus briefly covered the seven major centers and their accompanying rays for the human body. Now there are many other lesser centers, but these are the major ones taught in the Ancient Wisdom. DK does not talk about how they play out in the microcosmic lives but does correspond them to greater lives than the individual human.

These greater lives include groups, nations, humanity as a whole, the planet, other planets, the solar system and, last of all, the Cosmic Logos, or The One About Whom Naught May Be Said, which consists of at least seven solar systems. Beyond this great life little is said by DK. Unlike many others, he doesn’t speak of a galactic or Universal Logos, for understanding the Cosmic Logos seems to be more than we can handle in our present state of consciousness.

Concerning the centers of nations DK says this:

“Nations, for instance, have seven centres, as have all forms of existence from the human and animal upwards, and it is an interesting study to discover these centres and note the type of energy which flows through them. In connection with the United States of America, Chicago is the solar plexus centre, whilst New York is the throat centre and Washington the head centre. The heart centre is Los Angeles. The heart centre of Germany is Munich, and its head centre is Nuremberg, whilst Berlin is the throat centre. London is, of course, the heart centre for Great Britain (and temporarily it is also the head centre, though this will not always be the case), whilst Ottawa is the throat centre and Sydney is the solar plexus centre of the British Empire.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 85

The United States is an interesting country in which to analyze the centers. It is interesting that he gives us an incomplete list, which is:

Head – Washington DC
Throat – New York
Heart – Los Angeles
Solar Plexus- Chicago

Note that he leaves out the ajna, sacral and base centers.

In the day he wrote this. the sacral center surely would have been Detroit since it was the main center of physical creation – manufacturing most of the cars driven at that time. Now that has changed and the prime source of our most used products is the Silicon Valley region in the San Francisco and surrounding region. This includes many of our computer related products, solar panels and electric vehicles.

In DK’s day, the base of the spine would have most likely been Philadelphia, for there was laid the foundation of life for this country. That, however, may have changed to Seattle today, as focus has shifted away from nationalism to just living the abundant material life. Thanks to Microsoft the foundation was laid for our computerized world, and there we also have Amazon which has become the lifeblood of most every consumer product produced.

So, where would be the ajna center, the eye of spiritual vision? He did not name one because such a place does not yet exist, so he just lumped the head as a whole into one center at Washington DC. There are a number locations which would like the title of our spiritual light. Many think the Vatican or Jerusalem are good prospects for the planet as a whole, but few enlightened souls look in their direction for higher consciousness. In the United States, Salt Lake City is the only major city built and headquartered by a religion, but few outside the body of LDS true believers sense much inspiration coming from there.

As it is, Washington DC, imperfect as it is, represents both centers. This is evidenced by the all-seeing eye (representing the third eye – the ajna center) on the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States which is printed on our dollar bills.

The United States has attempted to shine greater light on freedom and democracy to the world, though with imperfect results. It is also the source of much of the world’s new ideas of spiritual thinking from new religions to many New Age movements.

Unfortunately, there is no separate city of lights where the ideals and inhabitants are enlightened enough to be a light unto the world. Such a place will manifest in the not-too-distant future and then we shall live in a world where there is an open third eye, a center to guide the world in the ways of Spirit, rather than the material side of life.

Concerning humanity as a whole, DK tells us there are five cities that represent active centers of power for humanity. The number is five because we are in the fifth rootrace. When the next race manifests, a center in Africa will develop and finally, when the seventh and final rootrace appears, a seventh center will be seen in Australia says DK.

Currently, the five centers with their personality and soul rays, plus their astrological signs are:

City – Soul – Personality – Sign

  1. London – 5th – 7th – Gemini.
  2. New York – 2nd – 3rd – Cancer.
  3. Tokyo – 6th – 4th – Cancer.
  4. Geneva – 1st – 2nd – Leo.
  5. Darjeeling – 2nd – 5th – Scorpio

Esoteric Astrology, Page 458

Concerning these, he says, “The five cities which are the exoteric expression of the esoteric centre of force and through which the Hierarchy and Shamballa are seeking to work are the correspondence in the planetary body to the four centres up the spine and the ajna centre in the body of humanity and of individual man.” Esoteric Astrology, Page 528

He doesn’t tell us which cities are with the specific five centers mentioned, but the rays given as well as their order listed will supply some hints.

The Body of the Cosmic Logos, Part 1
Centers and Rays in the individual

NOTE: This is the first of a ten part series concerning a subject of great interest to Bailey students. This concerns the mysteries behind a great life who DK calls “The One About Whom Naught May Be Said”. I have tried to write about the complex with as much simplicity as possible so both casual and serious students will find it interesting.

The great teacher, Djwhal Khul (or just DK), tells us that there is a great being who is higher in consciousness and evolution than either our Planetary Logos or the Solar Logos. Its life permeates through at least seven solar systems of which ours is one.

Its consciousness is so advanced that it is beyond even the masters on earth to comprehend. They have thus given this high entity the unusual name of “The One About Whom Naught May be Said.” Sometimes this is shortened to “Cosmic Logos.” We are given to understand that silence concerning this being is not because of demanded reverence, but because Its consciousness is so beyond ours that any full understanding is mere guesswork. Think of a snail trying to understand the mind of Einstein and you get the picture.

The fact that this being is of such a high consciousness is interesting to contemplate when you consider that Its body of seven solar systems is just a drop in the bucket compared to the Milky Way Galaxy, as a whole, which has over 200 billion solar systems within its life. This would indicate that there are billions of other Cosmic Logoi just in our galaxy alone and if a galactic logos exists then it would be One About Whom Naught May be Said in relation to our Cosmic Logos.

Then it further stretches our imagination to consider that our telescopes have discovered billions of galaxies, each with billions of solar systems, with no end in sight. This tells us that in this living universe there are indeed higher lives that defy the imagination.

For this treatise we will focus on our Cosmic Logos, of which each of us form a small part. This is the highest life concerning which any information from the teachings in the Ancient Wisdom is available.

Yes, I know, there are many believers who think they know all about the One Great Life we call God who created all things, but quoting a scripture or two is no indication that one even understands the Logos of our planet, let alone the universe.

So let us examine what is available and see if we can expand our consciousness to envision lives greater than ourselves.

All lives within our ring-pass-not live in bodies created by the interplay of seven rays which we see represented in the seven colors of the rainbow as well as seven notes in the musical scale. These manifest through humans in the seven major centers called the chakras. These seven divisions not only appear in humans but all life forms from the atom to a great Logos. The advanced atoms such as radium and uranium have seven electron shells corresponding to the seven chakras which are all active in the advanced human.

The first chakra is at the base of the spine. This supplies the foundation energy for the other chakras and the life of the body as a whole.

All seven rays have some interplay on each of the chakras, but there will always be one in particular which will dominate for each center. The dominate one is not always the same for everyone, for in some chakras it will shift as the seeker climbs the ladder of spiritual evolution.

The overall dominate ray for the base chakra is Ray One, that of Will, Power and Purpose. DK tells us this applies to the average person as well as initiates. (Esoteric Astrology, Page 517) Then, in between average and advanced individuals others have their base dominated by rays four and seven. He tells us that the “average aspirant” has a dominate ray four (Esoteric Psychology Vol 1, Pg 261) and still others ray seven will dominate at the base. (Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 521)

The fact that three different rays dominate at the base of the spine in various individuals tells us that we cannot specifically assign one particular ray with that center whether it be human, planetary or cosmic.

The next center up the spine is the sacral, which governs sex and physical creation. This is also influenced by more than one ray. For the undeveloped person it is governed by Ray three. (Esoteric Healing, Page 152 & 178) This seems to switch to Ray Seven as the person evolves. (Esoteric Astrology, Page 517). Then in another reference to this center DK connects it to Ray Five (Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 521) with no explanation as to where it fits with spiritual evolution.

The third center up the spine is the solar plexus, which governs the lower emotions. This is generally ruled by Ray Six (Ray of Devotion) though he does note that it “registers that of the second aspect.” (Esoteric Healing, Page 178). So, Ray Two does have a part, most likely in one who is spiritually developed.

The fourth center is the heart. Now keep in mind that these centers are not in the physical body or on the actual spine, but in the etheric body behind the spine.

The heart center is pretty much centered on Ray Two – the Ray of Love Wisdom. DK gives no other ray that ever dominates.

He does say, though, that there is a reflection of the heart center within the head center, and that is polarized in Ray One, the Ray of Power. He doesn’t tell us whether the heart center in the head remains under the domination of Ray Two or acquiesces to Ray One, though I think we may safely assume it is influenced by both rays.

He does make this interesting statement concerning: …“the Buddha and the Christ, Who are both embodiments of the heart centre of the planetary Logos, for the Buddha represents the twelve-petalled lotus in the head, of which the Christ represents the counterpart, the twelve-petalled lotus of the heart centre.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 86-87

In addition, he tells us that the Buddha represents the wisdom aspect of this second ray and the Christ the Love. (Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 516) This would tell us then that the wisdom aspect dominates in the head and love in the heart, but both centers would represent the two aspects to some degree.

In addition, he says: “the second ray deals largely with the soul’s activity through all the centres (those above and those below the diaphragm) but with the heart as the prime centre of attention.” Esoteric Healing, Page 130

So because this entire solar system is dominated by the second ray its influence is extremely pervasive and has some influence on all the centers, but “the heart as the prime centre of attention.”

The fifth center up the spine is the throat, which is a higher correspondent to the sacral. Instead of stimulating physical creation through sex, this center directs inspired creation through art, music, writing and other creative endeavors. Normally, DK references the Third Ray in relation to it but adds this: “Though the human throat centre is primarily expressing the third ray, there is an interesting situation to be noted in this connection: two ray energies control this centre at this time.” Telepathy and the Etheric Vehicle, Page 136

In that text he indicates that other ray is the seventh and then adds this:

“The throat centre of the average integrated personality is governed by the third ray and is strongly energised by third ray energies (again seven in number), whilst the throat centre of the spiritual aspirant, of disciples and initiates below the third initiation is responding primarily to seventh ray influence, and this is peculiarly the case now as the seventh ray is in incarnation.” Telepathy and the Etheric Vehicle, Page 137

His overall writings indicate that, even though the seventh ray is strong in some disciples the third ray has a strong influence in everyone. In addition, the first ray comes into play with the initial stimulation of the throat center. He says:

“people who work creatively usually have first ray personalities at the time that the throat centre becomes dynamically active for the first time.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 122

As we rise above the spine we come to the two head centers, the first of which is the center between the eyebrows, often called the third eye or the ajna center. This is a center of higher spiritual vision and understanding as well as a director of energy.

The most common ray associated with this is the Fifth Ray of Concrete Knowledge. (See Esoteric Astrology, Page 517 and Esoteric Psychology, Vol 1, Page 261) Then, for advanced disciples and initiates, it changes to Ray Three. (Esoteric Healing, Page 154) Then he also gives Ray Four as dominating, (Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 521) but does not indicate what would make this change.

Finally, we come to the highest center of the major seven at the top of the head, often called the crown. Of this he says, “ There are twelve major petals of white and gold, and 960 secondary petals are arranged around the central twelve.” Letters on Occult Meditation, pages 77-78 Also Treatise on Cosmic Fire, Page 168

Even though the crown is a few short it is often called the Thousand Petalled Lotus.

Though all rays and many energies move through this center the dominate one is consistently said to be Ray One – Will-Power-Purpose.

Even though each center is influenced by all seven rays, certain ones will dominate according to the spiritual advancement and the consciousness of the person. Let us then tabulate the centers and the rays most likely to dominate.

The Crown – Ray One
The Ajna – Normally Ray Five, but sometimes Three and Four
The Throat – Normally Ray Three, but in advanced souls Ray Seven is strong.
The Heart – Ray Two
The Solar Plexus – Ray Six, but influenced by Ray Two.
The Sacral Center – Rays Three, Five and Seven.
The Base of the Spine – Rays One, Four, and Seven.

There is much more that could be written about the centers and the rays, but the main intent here is to establish the links between them as we examine the body of the great logos of which we form a small part. The centers and rays of humanity have correspondences in greater and lesser lives, so by understanding ourselves, we can gain some understanding of the greater.

The Chain of Contact

Over the years I have had a number of people ask me about prayer and how our communion with God is supposed to work. I’ve touched on the answer to this in the past, but perhaps a more complete explanation is in order.

Those who are raised in an orthodox religion are taught about a god who sits upon a throne and pays complete attention to each and every one of the billions of people on this planet as well as everything else in the universe. Not only is he aware of you but he follows your every thought and action.

Now there are various doctrines on the Trinity but most think that Jesus shares this same omniscience.

Thus the good believer who prays feels that God is personally taking an interest in him and hears every word he or she speaks.

Let us turn this idea around and place yourself in the position of the all powerful all knowing God. You have all power so you can do anything you want. Do you really think you would want to spend all your time sitting on a throne taking in and evaluating billions of thoughts and prayers each day?

Just imagine what a hassle it would be to keep track of the thoughts and prayers of even a hundred believers, let alone a thousand, a million or over seven billion here on Earth and trillions on other earths and the unseen worlds.

If you have all power and can do anything you want I do not think his would be your idea of a good time. Just a few dozen rambling prayers going through one’s mind would be enough to drive any sane person to madness.

Does it not make sense here to apply the Law of Correspondences which tells us that that which is higher corresponds or has similarities to that which is below and that which is below corresponds to that which is above? The correspondences are never exactly the same, as many teach, but there are always similarities.

What therefore could correspond to a Higher Intelligence we call God governing his kingdom?

A lower correspondence to God and his kingdom would be a CEO over a business kingdom such as Tim Cook who presides over Apple. Tim is responsible for 137,000 employees, but even though he accepts this responsibility he does not personally oversee each one and give them instructions and corrections while individually listening to all their concerns. Instead, he presides over a hierarchy.

If there is some new policy he wants to incorporate he may call a meeting of a handful of leaders and explain it to them. They in turn will spread the ideas to others until all the many thousands receive the transmission and are given the individual attention that is needed to adapt to the new information or policy.

If a regular employee has a concern that he thinks he needs to share with Tim he will find that the best approach is to contact his supervisor instead, as Tim is too busy to individually listen to all employees. If an employee has something that is indeed innovative the suggestion may go up the line of authority until it reaches Tim, but as it turns out most concerns will be centered around his working group which may be a dozen employees or less. Most employee concerns and communications are handled at lower levels of hierarchy and need not call the attention of the higher ones who have their hands full dealing with broader issues.

Now Tim has an awareness, or a finger on the pulse, of the whole company and if he desires he can call upon any individual employee, but overall his attention has to be upon the whole rather than the part. On the other hand, the parts, or the individuals are not ignored, but linked up to Tim by a hierarchy of other workers. No one is left without guidance.

Now the skeptic will say that one cannot compare heavenly things to earthly things or God to humans.

And I say, why not? Of course, there will be differences but there are certain principles that are universal.

Why do you suppose it is written that God has “an innumerable company of angels” (Heb 12:22) and servants at his disposal if He as an individual does all the work? If this one being called God does all things for us then why does he need prophets, messengers and angels?

To the vast multitude of faithful servants on the earth Jesus made this promise:

“Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matt 25:23

If the individual we call God does all the work then what work will there be for the faithful servants. What are the “many things” over which they will preside?

God works with us because he needs us for we live in a universe of duality and separation so the various separate entities have to help each other. We are the arms and legs of God that have to reach out and assist others to the extent that they will say within themselves, “thank God.”

So what happens when we pray? Is anyone listening?

How far up the ladder your prayer goes depends on the intensity and sincerity of the individual.

Jesus tells us that we have “angels” who are assigned to watch over us. (Matt 18:10)

Indeed, there is one individual, usually higher up the ladder of spiritual evolution than yourself, who resides in the spirit world, paradise, or the kingdom of souls. This individual is assigned to watch over you and will assist you in making course corrections to insure that you fulfill your life’s purpose. This individual deals with a number of earth entities so you do not take up all of its labor but it will pay particular attention to you at important crossroads of your life.

This angel, or guide as it is often called, does not focus on answering your prayers though it may assist at certain important occasions.

The average payer of average intensity goes to your subconscious and mental self. This is like a great computer that can send you answers on many things, but it is only as accurate as its programming. It is a little like Google in that it has lots of information available, much of it is useful, but it is not infallible.

If your prayer, meditation or focused thought is intense enough you may pierce the astral static and reach your soul, your Higher Self, your guide or some helpful spirit entity who just happens to be tuning in.

Your normal contact above your subconscious is your own Higher Self or soul. Your soul is happy to see you making an effort to contact Higher Intelligence for a channel must be open by an effort from both sides of the veil. The soul’s effort is described in the first rule of White Magic which reads:

“The Solar Angel collects himself, scatters not his force, but in meditation deep communicates with his reflection.”

You are the reflection of your Higher Self, the soul, and such reflection roughly corresponding to your dream self which is an imperfect reflection of your waking self.

If you want to communicate with your dream self you have to focus a powerful thought and send it to your subconscious which can be picked up by the dream self. Then there are those who are lucid dreamers who are aware they are dreaming and know they are one with the waking self.

Now the correspondence between the higher and lower selfs is not exactly like this, but similar.

Jus as your waking self has a higher awareness than your dream self even so does your soul have a higher awareness than you. Even so, your soul is still you, but just a more complete you with much greater knowledge and abilities.

On the other hand, your soul is a reflection of something still higher which is your originating intelligence, called the Monad in the Ancient Wisdom.

Your soul corresponds to your Mother in Heaven and your monad to your Father God.

Your soul is linked to all other human souls on the planet which are linked to their monads which are linked to the One Great Life we call God.

Therefore, when your prayer ascends to your soul it ascends to God, but in this universe of duality God has become the many and there is indeed an “innumerable company” of assistants who help in the great work of guiding us through this dreary world until we find our way home.

Let Common Sense Prevail

An increasing number of people are expressing concern over the Coronavirus. Some have even gone so far as to associate it with the plagues in the Book of Revelation.

Unbelievers seem equally as panicked and imagine the worst while pointing fingers of blame and irresponsibility at anyone who tries to maintain a voice of reason.

I will try and be a voice of reason here and this may draw criticism from the extremes of the left and the right.

First let us look at the situation as it exists at the time of this writing (March 13, 2020).

So far worldwide there have been 143,757 cases resulting in 5,394 deaths.

Compared to the Swine Flue of 2009 within a period of a year there were somewhere between 151,700 to 575,400 deaths

In the United States there have been 1,992 cases so far resulting in 41 deaths. So far there has not been one death reported from someone under 50.

Between April 12, 2009, and April 10, 2010, the CDC estimates the Swine Flu caused 60.8 million illnesses in the United States alone with 273,304 hospitalizations and 12,469 deaths. Most of those affected were under 50.

So how serious is the regular flu? The CDC also estimates that up to 31 million in just the United States have caught the flu this season, with 210,000 to 370,000 flu sufferers hospitalized because of the this regular flu virus.

During the 2017-2018 flu season alone a whopping 61,000 people died, yet no ball games and special events were cancelled.

To put things in comparison in 2017 there were 70,200 drug overdose deaths involving an opioid and the problem is not diminishing.

Think you’re safe in a hospital? Each year there are around 100,000 deaths just from infections caught while staying in the hospital.

On top of that if we look at other problems we find that there are 250,000 deaths each year from medical errors.

Considering that if you are under 50 and living in the United States you should be more worried about being struck by lightening than the Coronavirus.

Considering our reaction to the Coronavirus one would think we are dealing with the likes of the Black Death plague of the fourteenth century. Now that was something to indeed be concerned about. One could be infected in the evening and suffer in horrible pain through the night and be dead in the morning. It was indeed a frightening disease that killed a third of the people in Europe and devastated much of the world.

Tom Hanks and his wife are the first celebrities I know of to get the disease. Tom, who is 63, an age that is supposed to be especially dangerous, made little comment about their condition. Perhaps they were so mildly affected that he didn’t want diminish the fear out there, but their son, Chet Hanks, did say this, “They’re not even that sick. They’re not worried about it. They’re not trippin’, but they’re going through the necessary health precautions, obviously but I don’t think it’s anything to be too worried about.”

Today I heard an interview with a 65 year old lady who tested positive on a cruise ship and she said she only had mild symptom for about three hours and that was it.

On top of this we have word from China that they are securing some containment, that the spread of the disease is diminishing there. If accurate that would indicate that it can be controlled, especially after a vaccine is given out. A Texas company has already claimed to have developed one, but will take a while to get it approved and distributed.

One who takes a holistic view and looks at the data may ask why there is so much panic spread by the media? Is this just hype to get ratings or political gain or what?

Just like any other pandemic there are unknowns associated with it and the unknown is always frightening. True, it is more deadly than the Swine Flu was when caught, but it is also not spreading as fast so there is a good chance it will turn out to be less damaging than either the Swine Flu, or perhaps regular flu.

Also some countries more affected than others.

Currently, Italy has the most severe density with 292 cases per million. This far exceeds China which only has 56 per million.

In Europe France has 154, Spain 190, Germany 41 and the UK 12 per million.

The United States is doing much better with only 6 cases per million.

And why are we faring better?

On January 30 the CDC confirmed the first US case of human to human transmission. President Trump ordered to protect the U. S. on Jan 31 a Public Health Emergency and issued 14 days quarantine rules for US citizens entering the US from China; and issued an order to deny entry to foreigners who have traveled to China within two weeks.

This raised accusations that Trump was a racist dictator, but it bought us some time and saved many lives,. Buying time is important because the more we know about this disease the better it can be contained.

As it is we have only 41 deaths so far in the United States and I would submit that the raw fear of the disease has caused more deaths than this. I would bet that there have been more than 41 suicides connected with financial downturns caused by fear. It is interesting by comparison that thousands die each year just due to cell phone distraction while walking or driving.

I think the Words of FDR need to ge repeated here:

“The only thing to fear is fear itself.”

On a positive note the stock market went up almost 2000 points today. Let us hope this is a new trend.

Obstacles To Goodwill

Here’s some more good advice from DK to which the Left should pay attention.

“the refusal of that public to face life as it is and to recognize the facts for what they are. The mass of men need arousing to see that good comes to all men alike and not just to a few privileged groups, and to learn also that “hatred ceases not by hatred but that hatred ceases by love”. This love is not a sentiment, but practical goodwill, expressing itself through individuals, in communities and among nations.”  Problems of Humanity, Page 173

The major problem in the United States that frustrates the promotion of goodwill as envisioned by DK is the hate of the left toward their political opposites. It was bad under Bush but has reached Biblical proportions under Trump.

“But” says one, “it is the Right that is full of hate not us. They are so despicable that we have to totally reject them and distance ourselves from them. We have to protest them, and more at times, and attack pure evil before it can spread.”

Yes, they promote the idea that they are the righteous ones because the Right deserves to be attacked because they are so repulsive.

They remind me of the opponents of Jesus who attacked him and later his disciples. Of them Jesus said

“They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:2-3

Just like the authorities in the time of Jesus thought that the hate they had justified them in severing relationships (putting them “out of the synagogues”) as well as violence even so does the left attack Trump and his voters with everything the law allows and then some. The fact that Kathy Griffin is celebrated for showing a severed head of Trump and many speak of wishing him dead while facing little criticism from their peers is evidence of this attitude.

Now Obama is pretty much the polar opposite of Trump. Most members of the Right disagreed with almost every move he made. Many even saw him and his supporters as outright supporting murder for their support of abortion, even late term abortion. One can see how hate and support of violence could have been supported by them.

Yet we saw no one carrying a severed head from Obama and laughing about it. We saw no one from the Right marching on the homes of leftists banging on their doors and windows, scaring their children. We saw no one from the right refusing to serve Obama supporters or interfering with their dining.

True there were a handful of bad people from the Right also, but when revealed they were generally condemned by them whereas the Left applauded disrespect from the left. Robert DeNiro is a prime example. After showing tremendous disrespect and destructive language toward the President he is applauded and given awards.

I submit that it is the Left that has created the main obstacles to goodwill and if they just relax and assumed a live and let live attitude that we could make a major step toward goodwill as promoted by DK.

I know I am willing and everyone I know from the Right is also. Goodwill is just waiting for the Left to meet us halfway.

The Missing Goodwill

A reader asks a question worthy of attention. He references a post I made way back in March 1999 wherein I addressed concerns of predictions of the end of the world in the year 2000 as well as Y2K. I stated:

“The end of the world will not come around the year 2000. Y2K may create some problems but they will be solved and we will move on. The time of great opportunity is upon the disciples of light from this point on for the next thirty years.”

I also said that, “Providing that alternative two is successful it will still take about 150 years to successfully usher in the age of peace. But the main period of tension will be the next 30 years.”

To this Blayne asks where we are now in relation to my comments.

In that post I stated that we face two alternatives for our future:

(1) There can be great destruction which will “destroy them which destroy the earth.” Rev 11:18. Thus with all the destructive people out of the way the earth can rest from the mischief man creates.

(2) Some destruction will occur but mankind will basically institute the just laws and actions necessary to create world stability so humankind can join in with the earth in the period of great rest.

I stated that the forces of light are trying to implement the second alternative whereas the dark ones are working on the first. At that time the chances looked good or a peaceful transition to the new age but the dark forces have been more successful than anticipated in applying the principle of “divide and conquer.” The great division among us is now obvious in that all over the world we see a heightened political divide between the left and the right. Few years ago religious differences were of much more concern than political, but that has changed. Now politics has become the new religion and many who in the past that were fairly indifferent now passionately take a side with loathing and hatred toward the other.

The only other time in history that corresponds to this is the atmosphere in the United States just before the Civil War. There is a significant difference, however. Back then the fight was over a definite point of good and evil, which was slavery. Yes, there were other problems, but this was the main dividing point.

In this age, the points causing the division are much more ambiguous. The strange thing is that both the left and the right pretty much agree with what the main problems are. Unlike the Civil War period where slavery was the defining issue supported by one side and attacked by the other, there is no one main issue that divides us. Instead, the division comes from how serious these problems are and how we are to go about solving them.

The right wants to solve our problems through maximum free enterprise and minimal government and the left wants minimal free enterprise and maximum government intervention creating regulations and charging whatever taxes necessary to make things happen.

Instead of focusing on points of agreement, of which there are many, they focus on disagreements and if they are not strong enough then the other side is demonized by distorting their view into something almost satanic, beyond reconition.

The plan of the Hierarchy was to smoothly move us into the new age through the promotion of good will promoted by the disciples throughout the world.

Instead, this division tactic is working so well that many disciples have abandoned goodwill and joined in with the division and hate and loath all who disagree with them as being enemies of humanity. The efforts of seeking union through goodwill has been neutralized to a high degree.

There are a few working through goodwill but a much smaller number than is needed. Many of those who incarnated with the idea of assisting in moving this goodwill forward have failed in their mission, given impetus to the dark side and will be greatly disappointed when they have their life review.

Because of a failure to raise goodwill to the needed level our fate is in the hands of a humanity’s ability to observe the results of their policies and behavior and to deal with it in a positive rather than negative way.

After World War II there was strong optimism that we could safely transition to the new age, but now I’d say that we are down to close to a 50/50 chance. I’m still leaning a little in favor of things tending to no great Armageddon situation, but the lights of the world definitely need to become more proactive. A few generalized meditations will not do the trick. There must be more actual positive activity on the physical plane.

Back in 2004 I was contemplating the great division that was beginning to manifest and wrote the Principles of Political Unification in an attempt to bring the two sides together. Unfortunately, it has gained little traction, but the hope is still there.

Principles of Political Unification

(1) I seek that which is good for my country and the world above that which is good for my party.

(2) I support the principle of free speech. I shall be allowed to express my political and spiritual views, however repulsive, without legal restrictions and allow all people the same privilege.

(3) I support the principle of freedom and work toward securing the greatest possible freedom for individuals and groups in every situation. I accept the principles of freedom enunciated in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

(4) I commit myself to sending goodwill and the spirit of friendship to all involved in the political process, especially those with differing political views.

(5) Even though the majority may not always support my views I realize that the majority view, when properly informed, rarely will lead us on a dangerous path. I therefore seek to honor the will of the people. When I disagree with the will of the people I will not seek to forcefully control them or change them but will use peaceful means to inform and educate them.

(6) There are a number of issues that cause division, heated debate and anger. Examples are abortion, gun control, social programs, drug legalization, military activities and others. Most cannot be resolved in the near future through the conversion of one side to another. I support this unifying approach: To support the principle of fairness on controversial issues both sides must be heard even though the other side may be repulsive to me, for free speech and thought is the most important principle and the prime directive of unification and ultimate peace. I therefore commit to the principle of fair play realizing that both sides deserve to be heard and have their representatives in positions of power.

(7) I believe in integrity and honesty and will seek to be truthful no matter what the opponents do. I seek not to distort or lie for the benefit of my party or for personal gain.

(8) I accept that we must be fiscally responsible and will do all in my power to create a balanced budget, except in times of national crisis. I will only support programs that can be funded or continued without increasing the burden on the taxpayer.

(9) I agree that the people are taxed enough and seek to keep the budget within the range of current tax revenues (or preferably lower) and to not raise the percentage of taxes on anyone.

(10) I agree to put the security of my country and the world above the views or actions of my own political party. If others of my party sabotage national security or undermine a just effort toward the elimination of threats I will be just as critical of them as the opposing party.

(11) I accept the fact that there is great waste and inefficiency in government spending and commit myself to eliminate waste and increase efficiency wherever and whenever possible.

(12) I accept and support the idea that we can save ourselves much grief by learning from the mistakes of history so we do not repeat them. It is therefore of extreme importance that the youth be accurately taught, without censorship, national and world history in a way that is of interest and will be absorbed by them. I will oppose all those who revise history in distorted fashion for political gain.

(13) I agree that extremism has been and is the cause of many problems in the world and seek to not impose extreme views on the people. If I happen to have extreme views which I believe to be of value to will seek to persuade by education rather than by law or force. It is also a problem when political opponents are called extremists when over a third of the public support them. Such accusations are extremism in disguise. I seek to not be extreme myself in distorting the image of opponents by calling them extremists when such is not true. For instance, it is not extremism to be simply for or against abortion as there are many on both sides of the equation.

(14) I support the elimination of poverty but realize there are two approaches to this. The first is to give a helping handout and the second is to provide circumstances so the person may help himself. Extremists on this issue have warred against each other and have been the cause of much division. I reject extremism on both sides and seek to recognize the value of both sides. There are times of helplessness when people need direct assistance and times when they need encouraged to stand on their own feet. I do not support handouts to those who are capable of helping themselves and refuse to do so.

(15) I support the separation of church and state, but reject extremism on both sides. I reject the extreme that the government should endorse any specific religious influence on public policy even though all religions have the freedom to express their views. I also reject the other extreme that any mention of God, religious values, or the public display of religious symbols is to not be tolerated.

(16) I support equal rights for all races, both sexes and members of all religions and ideologies. I recognize that the large majority both sides of the political spectrum seek what is best for all races and minorities (even though the opposition has a different approach) and refuse to manufacture accusations for political gain.

(17) I recognize that the large majority both sides of the political spectrum seek what is best for the environment but again both sides have a different approach. Two extremes causing division are: First aiding then environment even if there is strong economic and job loss. The second is seeking profits at the expense of the environment. The truth is the two are interdependent. A strong economy can provide funds to help the environment and a healthy environment provides for a good long term good economy. I seek therefore to work with both sides of this issue and will seek cooperation rather than assigning blame. I seek to aid the environment without harming the economic structure.

(18) I recognize we are a nation of laws and will not support the subversion of law for political gain. I will condemn such subversion of those who share my views as well as those who do not.

(19) I will only support the establishment of necessary law as well as the elimination of bad, as well as useless laws that clutter the system.

(20) In the end, I support the example of John Kennedy who, while campaigning, found good things to say about his opposition and instead of tearing down he said “we can do better.” I support the idea of converting by good works and ideas rather than tearing down the opposition.

Brexit and the New Age

Esoteric and new age students of today suffer a similar illusion as did the Christians in attempting to promote their ideals in past ages. Early Christians thought that if a little of good ideal was good then more was better and any movement toward the ideal was good no matter how it was achieved. Consequently, when their ideas began to dominate after Constantine they felt that expansion, even at the point of the sword and slavery, was a good thing. Snuffing out competing ideologies like Mithraism, teachings of Apollonius, Manichaeaism, banned books and all forms of gnosticism were seen as victories. Then, when the Conquistadors went to the Americas they forced the natives to accept their ideal religion or die. The means to the end seemed worth it as the ideals of the kingdom of God embraced were taken from the teachings of the greatest of us all, the Christ.

Now in this age we have a higher octave of ideals set before us in the Ancient Wisdom, particularly in the teachings of Alice A. Bailey and DK. The question is this: Are the mistakes of the past being repeated? If a little is good is more always better and is any means justified in advancing the ideal, even the taking away freedom of choice?

The teachings emphasize sharing and the rejection of materialism. Does this mean that the ideals of socialism and communism should be accepted, even at the point of the sword to loss of freedom?

Some are all in and even feel that totalitarianism is a price worth paying, despite DK’s obvious teachings on the importance of allowing for maximum free will.

Others are supportive but by lesser degrees. These reject totalitarian communism but support social ideals that infringe on free will, but are not totalitarian as of yet.

Yes, sharing and cooperation are important ideals for the new age, but they must be accomplished, not by force, but through processes that do not infringe on the freewill of the people as a whole. Here are three quotes from DK on the importance of freedom:

“Leave people free in all respects—with the freedom that you demand and expect for yourself.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 427

“It is a law that human freedom may not be infringed. The staging of the Plan and its working out is, in the last analysis, an entirely human affair, once it has reached the stage of precipitation. It is dependent upon the responsiveness of human brains, and their recognition of need and its sources. This is a point which should be remembered.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 362

“Like everything else that happens upon the subjective plane of human living, a major distortion of the process and of the new technique will appear in some form or other in human affairs and constitute a great obstruction (apparently and temporarily) to human progress. It will be in the nature of a sidetrack and a glamour, brought into impelling and compelling use by the enemies of humanity and by those who work constantly against the Forces of Light. Today, this distortion can be seen demonstrating in all totalitarian countries; the individual is not free and his fusion with the state and his progress as a state-absorbed entity—deprived of the right of free choice and forced through fear and penalty to relinquish his own self-directed life—is a growing menace to mankind.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 353

We all acknowledge that more sharing and cooperation is good as long as it is accomplished without infringing upon free will, otherwise the warning from DK would apply:

“Socialism can degenerate into another form of totalitarianism.” Rays and Initiations, Page 747

Thus all rational people can see that sharing and cooperation is good when tempered by free will but if done at the point of the sword then the end result is no more virtuous than that achieved by the Conquistadors with the native Americans.

AAB students have the same problem with the United Nations. DK spoke of the importance of cooperation among the nations and had high hopes for the U.N. Consequently many students support the United Nations with no reservations with a black and white attitude as if it can do no wrong. Whatever they do should be supported. They overlook DK’s warning:

“The United Nations is still the hope of the world and can remain so; it is a great field of experimentation, but is suffering today from an initial error. That error was the admitting of a totalitarian Power into its nations. For seven long and terrible years the Forces of Light had been fighting totalitarianism. In the early days of the post-war period the Nations compromised with principles and admitted Russia to the United Nations. Had they proceeded to unite all the other nations of the world on the sure ground of economic reform, of needed national reorganisation and of regional groups, Russia would have been forced to conform, for her very existence would have been at stake. An initial error can lead to much trouble, and it is this type of trouble which the United Nations today faces.” Externalisation of the Hierarchy, Page 640 – April 1948

Since this time, instead of putting pressure on totalitarian regimes, we have admitted more of them and are still faced with having to incorporate them instead of pressuring them toward freedom.

Again the wise student will judge the work of the U.N. through the lens of progress toward freedom and cooperation rather throwing them mindless support.

A current problem that concerns students is the issue of Brexit where the people of the UK voted to exit the European Union. Most esoteric students and those who embrace new age teachings are against Brexit and think that the UK should stay in the union, even if the majority of the people are against it. There are even groups getting together supporting meditation to influence the end result of the EU staying intact.

Why is such a high percentage of students taking this approach? Basically, it is because of the black and white unthinking approach to the ideal set forth by DK. He speaks of a future where nations will be more inclusive, cooperative and united, have loose borders and not require passports – where they will join in cooperative efforts, yet still maintain their national identity. The end result will be a fairly united one world where nations still maintain their individual identity yet cooperate together as if they are a part of the one world. This will not happen overnight but evolve over time.

Because a cooperative union is a desired goal the black and white student will tend to support any step toward union without doing any analysis of its ultimate good, or consider the free will of the people involved.

Students often forget that no good ideal is worth the sacrificing of the free will of the human spirit. This must be preserved at all costs.

Let us look at the old Soviet Union, for example. This was a union of nations which was at first supported by many esoteric students, but most finally conceded that the cost of human freedom was too great and the break up of the forced union was a good thing.

Now, through the European Union, humanity is witnessing another union of nations. Unlike the Soviet Union this one has taken place through the free will joining of the various nations. Thus, this initial union was in harmony with the principle of free will. But then the people of the UK saw the central authority of the EU became too intrusive and the benefits too few so they had a vote and the majority of the people d decided to exit the union. The vote was 52% for Brexit with 48% wanting to stay in the union.

If we then honor the free will of the people there should be no problem supporting the will of the majority. After all, if an organization is drifting toward to much central authority then it makes sense to question the value and withdraw while withdrawal is still possible.

What do you suppose DK would say about this political situation if he were to speak today to the most enlightened of the people who he called the New Group of World Servers? To get an idea let us see what the said in the past:

“They are occupied with the task of inaugurating the new world order by forming throughout the world—in every nation, city and town,—a grouping of people who belong to no party, take no sides either for or against, but who have as clear and definite a platform and as practical a programme as any other single party in the world today. They take their stand upon the essential divinity of man; their programme is founded upon good will, because it is a basic human characteristic.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 637

So here he tells us that these true servants of humanity will “take no sides either for or against” in partisan conflicts but instead “stand upon the essential divinity of man.” In other words, the divinity that is in humanity will eventually prevail – leading us in the right direction, but “Divinity, however, awaits the expression of man’s free will”. Reappearance of the Christ, Page 164

So, think about it. Why did he stress that the NGWS take no sides?

The reason is simple. The main goal of the NGWS is to promote goodwill among humanity for that is the key to solving the most serious problems on the planet and establishing peace on earth. If the servers therefore openly take sides and promote an issue that is opposed by half the people or more then what chance do they have in creating goodwill among that opposed half?

In fact, more than half, 52% of the people voted for Brexit. Therefore, if NGWS take a side against that 52% what chance have they of establishing goodwill among them by showing trust in their divinity that “awaits the expression of man’s free will”?

Instead, what have we? The 52% are looked upon as unenlightened near-do-wells who need to be corrected by the elite who know what’s good for them.

Do you suppose that there are no enlightened among those 52% who support Brexit? Who is to say that there are not more among the ranks of the NGWS among the pro Brexit as the anti Brexit?

How would the NGWS expect to establish goodwill among the 52% of the pro Brexit voters if they openly oppose their legal and democratic majority vote? After all, DK tells us that the NGWS and people of goodwill will be found in every religion and every political party.

At this point one may ask what are the principles involved that cause the Hierarchy to take a stand for or against a position? Unrealized by many students is the fact that they rarely take a stand. Normally, in a conflict they let both sides duke it out and merely work with the divinity in those of both sides with the idea that there will be progress toward good in the end. (See Externalization of the Hierarchy, Pages 475-477). The conflict of World War II was the exception. Here is his reasoning:

“On the basis of these distinctions, it is surely apparent that God is on the side of the allied nations, for it cannot be supposed that Christ is on the side of Hitler and the rule of cruel aggression. The spiritual Hierarchy of the planet is throwing the weight of its strength against the Axis powers just in so far as the spiritually minded peoples of the world can collaborate, for there can be no coercion of man’s free will.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 187

Free will, not a forced union, is the deciding factor and the only one that causes the Hierarchy to take a side. Otherwise, disciples are advised to merely work with the divinity that is in us human beings, for once that spark is lit, goodwill will manifest and we will naturally be headed the right direction. When we therefore look at the Bexit situation we see that 52% of the people of the UK have chosen it of their own free will and this needs to be honored whether we personally agree with the decision or not. The key of wisdom here is that free will decisions will come from the divinity which is in humanity and we should trust that free will to eventually take us to a positive conclusion.

“The democracies, with all their present ineffectiveness, have in them the germ of that which is truly new, for they are the expression of an upward surging towards self-rule and self-mastery by humanity as a whole.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 199

“The will of the people will then be seen in the light. It is in this connection that Great Britain will emerge into renewed activity for her personality ray and India’s soul ray are the same” (Ray One). Esoteric Psychology Vol I, Page 53

I can sympathize with those who want a united and effective European Union. It would be great if such a union were a great benefit but DK says, “Cooperative unity differs from an enforced unity in that the subjective spirit and the objective form are functioning towards one recognised end. Today, such a thing as a true democracy is unknown, and the mass of the people in the democratic countries are as much at the mercy of the politicians.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 52

The key statement here is that “Cooperative unity differs from an enforced unity.” If the majority of the UK are voting against the uno then overriding that by the elite creates “an enforced unity.”

DK further States this:

“Still another reply, upon which I would ask you to ponder, is that Christ and the spiritual Hierarchy never—no matter what the incentive may be—infringe upon the divine right of humanity to achieve freedom by fighting for freedom, individually, nationally and internationally. When true freedom covers the earth, we shall see the end of tyranny, politically and religiously. I refer here not to modern democracy, which is at present a philosophy of wishful thinking, but to that state of the realm in which the people themselves will rule; these people will not tolerate authoritarianism in any church, or totalitarianism in any political system or government; they will not accept or permit the rule of any body of men who undertake to tell them what they must believe in order to be saved, or what government they must accept. Externalization of the Hierarchy, Pages 617-618

He always gives freedom the greatest weight, above unity, sharing or any other virtuous endeavor. Only in an atmosphere of freedom will ideals materialize into the dominating good. Disciples must not give into the temptation to attempt to speed the process by the exercise of undo force.

I’ll end this treatise with a digest of goals DK set forth for The New Group of World Servers:

“No word must be spoken or written which could be construed as evidencing partisanship, or as an attack upon any ruler, any form of government, or any national activity. ‘Hatred ceaseth not by hatred; hatred ceaseth by love.’

“Nothing must be published in any pamphlet, newspaper, circular or letter which could evoke antagonism from any government, any political party, any economic strategist, or any religious organisation. ONLY PRINCIPLES OF UNIVERSAL APPLICATION MUST BE EXPRESSED, AND NO PARTISANSHIP IS PERMITTED.

“Members of the New Group of World Servers are never to identify themselves with any political, religious or social propaganda. Such propaganda is separative in its effects, and breeds divisions and hatreds.”

Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Pages 680-682

The New Group of World Servers “constitute a third group or ‘middle party’ (to borrow a phrase from the field of politics) between those who are fighting for, and those who are fighting against, any group, religious organisation, political affiliation or form of government.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 676

The only exception to this. as noted earlier, is if the Principle of Freedom is at stake, for there can be no progress toward the light without it.

Investigating the Law of One

The Law of One, Part 1

I have finished reading Book One of the Law of One and will make some comments.

I first read some of the RA dialog back in the Eighties, shortly after it was published, and wasn’t impressed enough to read further at the time as the information seemed kind of ordinary. I must not have read Book One, or all of it, as this time around I found it quite interesting. Now I am wondering what part of the RA material I did read as much of this I had not read before,

Anyway, this is some of the most interesting trance channeled material I have read, even better than the Seth material. It is similar in quality to that brought forth by Delores Cannon. The source and process was somewhat different though. The RA and the Seth material accessed just one entity each, while Delores accessed many past lives and the higher consciousness of many subjects.

The problem with trance channeled material is that it bypasses the mind. The mind goes to sleep as it does when we dream and the communication takes place through the use of the astral, or the emotional body.

Communication through mental telepathy by use of the conscious mind is more accurate than through the astral body as more distortion occurs in the astral body than the mind, though neither are perfect.

It is interesting, but true that RA identifies us as “distortions” of true reality and recognizes the difficulty in truly accurate communication from the higher planes to the lower. This harmonizes with my teaching that all physical creation occurs through energies being out of balance.

As evidence of distortion you will notice that you will almost, without exception, find contradictory differences in the various trance channels, even the best of them.

This takes us back to the prime directive of all my teachings which is this. No matter how high or valid you think the source is, even God himself, run all things by your own soul, as your true inner voice is your most reliable source.

Even here the seeker can be wrong, and mistake the higher astral for the voice of the soul, but at least he is heading the right direction, and, once perfected, he will develop a high sense of discerning the true from the false.

The problem for the seeker in sorting out truth when there is a lot of data involved is the language of the soul is the language of principles., The soul always leads the lower self toward the understanding of the principle behind things or why a certain idea is true. It is strong on the wisdom aspect. To accurately discern the truth of data, such as past history, would require the ability to access and accurately read the Akashic records – something which no mortal I know can do, though many claim this ability.

That said, let us look at the Law of One with dispassion, just as we would any other channeled material, scriptures, Theosophical related works or any claimed inspiration.

First, let me say that the material is a product of intelligence that exceeds normal human consciousness and as such contains much that is true. It is of a high enough grade that the seeker may be tempted to accept all that is said without question. To this one should never acquiesce. For me, there are certain writings to which I give a lot of weight, but I never let my guard down and always question anything that does not make sense or that does not register with my soul.

That said, let me point out positive and negative aspects of RA’s The Law of One. We’ll start with the positive.

(1) The source is a high grade of intelligence and the questions asked were also of high quality. When RA said something confusing the person asked for clarification, such as RA calling a solar system a galaxy.

(2) It covers numerous mysteries to which many question, such as ancient history, the beginning of life, the pyramids, life on Mars and Venus, higher dimensions etc. RA gives credible answers on all these things.

(3) RA gives very interesting explanations and comes up with instant information with very little hesitation.

(4) Unlike most channeled material RA touches on a number of principles and expands on them.

(5) He correctly identifies the core difference between the light and the dark side – the light being service to others and the dark being service to self. This is an important distinction.

(6) The general direction of the teachings would lead the seeker toward love and service rather than to glamor and the implication of the ego.

(7) Whether you accept the source as valid or not RA gives much material that is good food for thought and, when contemplated on, can lead the seeker to greater light. It is good material for seekers to read through the light of the soul.

Law of One, Part 2

The RA material certainly gives one much to think about. I like the fact that it discusses concepts and ideas as well as the presentation of data. The soul can more easily guide the seeker in discovering truth behind principles, whereas the akashic records must be accessed or a revelation received to verify data.

Even so, we can use our common sense and reasoning minds to get a general idea of how accurate the data is.

Overall, I think the RA material is about as accurate as any of the trance channeled material out there, but, like anything else, one must run the teachings by his reasoning mind and soul.

The first thing I do with any channeled or revealed material is to see how it registers with my soul. This material did not register as perfect but good enough that I was encouraged to read all the books and contemplate the material.

The second thing I do is look to see if any specific predictions have been made and whether or not they have come true. This is sometimes difficult to ascertain as some writers go back and edit out false predictions once the date has past so it is always best to have the original material available. Fortunately, it does look like we have the original RA writings.

The first RA book was written in 1981 and most channeled material around that time was predicting apocalyptic type events before the end of the millennium. Many were predicting a shift of the axis, great destruction, the coming of Christ, great earth changes – all kinds of things that did not happen. Many channelers were wrong not with just one prediction, but all of them.

Wrong predictions, of course, do not mean all their other writings were wrong, but it does indeed signal that one must examine all other writings with a skeptical, or at least an analytical eye.

The problem with predictions is that not even a master can predict all the details of the future. Higher lives can examine cycles and causes leading to the future and be quite accurate in many instances, but, because of free will cannot accurately tell us all details of future events.

When some revelator therefore, gives a lot of specifics about future events, you can be pretty sure he is caught up in some illusion and there will be numerous flaws in his material.

Smart prophets will write like Isaiah or Nostradamus where their writings lack specifics, but can be interpreted numerous different ways. Believers can never be proven wrong.

RA was wise in that a number of times he avoided giving specifics about the future correctly pointing out that free will is at play. He was asked about future evens of the new millennium he indicated that there could be big earth changes around the turn of the century but was not specific. He did though give one specific prophesy.

In 1981 he predicted that within 30 years the earth and its people would go through a harvesting and the people would shift from third density life to the fourth density.

Now RA says there are a number of densities or dimensions in consciousness. He is a sixth density being, much higher in evolution than an ordinary human who is third density. Just to give you an idea of how far up the sixth density is he says that Jesus was a fifth density entity, an octave below himself.

So, around the year of 2011 humanity was supposed to enter the fourth density. In this density the people of earth would understand the Law of One and live in oneness, peace, love and understanding. There would be many other changes. For instance, he indicated we would not use cars (called “heavy chemical vehicles”) to get from one place to another.

As we approached 2011 believers in the RA material saw that as so close to the Mayan prediction of 2012 that many figured they were the one and the same.

Carla Rueckert, who channeled the Law of One material, later earmarked the Mayan date of 2012 as the time of transition. She wrote quite a bit about this in her 2009 book, “Living the Law of One.”

As I write this it is February 2019, significantly beyond either 2011 or 2012 and if anything we have moved away from love and unity as a civilization rather than entering a higher realm of peace and understanding. People are at each others throats in political disagreements as never before in my memory.

Believers refuse to admit that RA was mistaken but see the transition date as merely being postponed because of humanity’s free will. On the other hand, RA told us that the time for such matters is based on cycles that are set. He said:

“The timing of these cycles is a measurement equal to a portion of intelligent energy. This intelligent energy offers a type of clock. The cycles move as precisely as a clock strikes your hour. Thus, the gateway from intelligent energy to intelligent infinity opens regardless of circumstance on the striking of the hour.”

The hard fact is that RA was just plain wrong any way you look at it and even if there is to be a future transition of some kind he significantly overestimated his ability to predict an event.

This tells us that RA is most likely not an entity who is higher up the ladder than Jesus.

In fact he was not even able to predict more accurately than myself.

This is from a class I gave in 2007:

“A lot of the new agers are as bad as the Christians in that they are expecting the world to end, but they have an exact date of 2012. A lot of people think that the world is going to end, flying saucers are going to come down or something crazy is going to happen then.

“This is merely the end of the Mayan calendar and some people think that because it is the end of the Mayan calendar – that means the end of the world. I think that it is just the last date the Mayans had on their calendar – that’s what I personally think. It’s actually going to be a fairly pivotal time – it’s between the two ages – just as we are entering the Aquarian Age. So, it could be a significant time, but its not going to be the end of the world.

“2011 will probably be as significant as 2012 and 2013 – if you pick those three years as to which one is the most significant – the chances are that 2011 and 2013 will be just as significant, but it is an important time period – were in a time of transition and during the next 20 or 30 years we’re approaching a point of tension that will determine whether we are going into the new age peacefully or unpeacefully. We are in danger of entering a world war III that could put us back a thousand years, but the plan of the Hierarchy is to avoid that and have a transition period that is going to have some difficulties, but we will surmount those difficulties and go into the new age and have a new age of peace that’s going to be the best age in our recorded history.”

This was from a class at the 2007 Gathering.

“My feeling about 2012 is that it is a point taking us into the Age of Aquarius. I don’t think there is anything magical with 2012 over 2011. From what I understand it was the end of their calendar and they saw this as the end of an age rather than the end of the world. It could be an intense time period. Let me see. It is now 2007… we could have some interesting things happen by that time. I see a larger turning point occurring around 2025-2030, which I see as an intense period of change.”

Back in 2007 everyone in the new age and metaphysical movements were predicting big changes in 2012, whereas I said 2012 would not be any more significant than 2011 or 2013.

I am usually very cautious about making predictions because the future is so fluid, but there are some things I am intuitively very sure will not happen.

Some people get upset when you tell them that their favorite predictions will not happen. Almost twenty years ago a fan of my writings wrote me and asked me why I was not preparing people for the arrival of Nibiru, the famous planet X that was supposed to bring on the Apocalypse.

I told her that I wasn’t warning people about it because there was no planet X that was going to arrive in the foreseeable future.

This statement did not harmonize with her belief system and I never heard from her again.

Prophesy is impossible to get right 100% unless the key ingredients are under the control of the one making the prediction or strongly based on natural cycles or trends. There are only a handful of inspired writers that were able to score with 50% accuracy. If someone can be that accurate I will pay attention to his or her words. A lot of people claim to be quite accurate, but when you examine their original words and compare them with actual happenings we find that few can reach this 50% level.

 

Law of One, Part 3

I have to give the RA material credit for being interesting reading. To its credit it does touch on some principles, but most of the material consists of data that is impossible to verify unless one has access to the Akashic records. One can, however apply the Principles of Discovery, that I have enumerated in the past, and sort out some things that are likely to be true or false.

Predictions that have past their due date are the easiest ones to verify. By 2011-12 humanity was supposed to enter the fourth density where those remaining would be centered on love and have enhanced bodies that could teleport themselves and not need regular transportation. There would be such a change that the lifespan would be increased to a whopping 90,000 years.

That obviously didn’t happen. I see that new RA material has been released in 2018. I have not read it yet but am sure they give a reason that the “harvest” to the fourth density has been delayed, or perhaps we did not correctly understand the process.

One of the core teachings of RA is that life exists in eight different densities. This somewhat corresponds to the seven planes plus a synthesis as taught by the Ancient Wisdom, but with some differences.

According to RA the first density is fire, wind, earth and water interacting to lay the foundation for life.

The second density consists of plants and animals.

The third density is the present human kingdom.

The fourth density consists of beings of love and understanding who live in harmony.

The fifth is higher light and wisdom.

The sixth is a unification of love and wisdom and this is where RA’s confederation resides.

The seventh is pretty much beyond words, but these beings are in total harmony with the creator.

Finally, we have an eighth dimension or density which is assumed to be the first of a new octave of densities.

We are told that there is a special governing council in this density living on the rings of Saturn. Though anything is possible that indeed sounds somewhat fanciful and from a creative imagination.

The seven planes of the Ancient Wisdom are somewhat different. They are the physical, astral, metal, intuitional, Atmic (divine ideas), the originating monad and divine space. Corresponding to the eighth would be the cosmic physical. The ones with this high consciousness would be high beings such as the Ancient of Days who resides on earth in Shamballa or the Solar Logos and associates. The Logos of Saturn would have access to this high state, but it does seem odd to place him in the rings.

RA goes through the seven colors of the spectrum and identifies them sequentially with the densities as well as the human centers. Thus he says the centers from the base of the spine upwards are related to red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Many new agers assume that this is the case, but DK gives a different rendering which I believe is accurate. Here they are:

  1. The base of the spine. Four petals. These petals are in the shape of a cross, and radiate with orange fire. Ray 4
  2. Sacral Center Six Petals – Red with possibly some orange. Ray 7
  3. —The solar plexus. Ten petals. The colour rosy, with an admixture of green. Ray 6
  4. The heart centre. Twelve petals. Colour glowing golden. Ray 2
  5. The throat centre. Sixteen petals. Colour silvery blue, the blue predominating. Ray 3

6 & 7 The head centres. These are in a twofold division;—

a—Between the eyebrows. Ninety-six petals. Colour, one-half of the lotus is rose and yellow, and the other half is blue and purple. Ray 5

b—The top of the head. There are twelve major petals of white and gold, and 960 secondary petals are arranged around the central twelve. This makes a total of 1068 petals in the two head centres, or 356 triplicities. All these figures have an occult significance. Ray 1

RA says the age of the Great Pyramid is 6000 years. Orthodox science estimates the age to be around 4500 years. On the other hand, Edgar Cayce says it was over 12,000 years old. Others put the age much older. This seems to be a subject that neither worldly or other worldly investigators can agree on.

I could go on pointing out positive and negative points in the material, but believe I have given out enough so the investigator can check out the teachings for himself and make up his own mind.

A final question that needs to be addressed is this. Who or what is RA and where does he really come from?

I do not believe that the three people involved in the channeled material just deceptively made him up. It appears to me that RA’s intelligence was beyond their own. Neither do I think he is an entity or group purely from the sixth density as he says. Instead, here is my view:

There were three individuals involved who were Allen McCarty, Don Elkins, and Carla Rueckert and were good friends enjoying a common goal of higher contact. This union caused a blending of the energies of their Higher Selves. They were seeking contact through trance channeling which has to be done through the astral body. Their united desires created a thoughtform on the astral/desire plane. This thoughtform was not the Higher Self, but drew intelligence from it as well as information from the minds of the three individuals.

RA was thus a created being composed of elements of reflected higher selves and the combined consciousness of the three individuals .

RA said a number of times that he scanned the mind of the questioner. Indeed he had available the scanned minds of all three at any given moment plus some insights from higher realms.

There are mistakes because RA’s consciousness could not exceed the combined consciousness of the three individuals who were drawing some intelligence from their combined higher selves.

In closing I will give readers the advice I have given out many times. Study all teachings through the light of your own soul, even if you are sure they come from the highest possible source. Nothing will speak to you with more truth than your own Higher Self. If your inner voice rejects a teaching then put it aside. If it registers it as true then place that in the truth section of your mind. If you get nothing positive or negative then go with your common sense or put it on the shelf. The seeker who does not give up but continues will eventually find what he or she is looking for.

Update on the Law of One

In my post about the RA material I said this as my conclusion of its source:

“There were three individuals involved who were Allen McCarty, Don Elkins, and Carla Rueckert and were good friends enjoying a common goal of higher contact. This union caused a blending of the energies of their Higher Selves. They were seeking contact through trance channeling which has to be done through the astral body. Their united desires created a thoughtform on the astral/desire plane. This thoughtform was not the Higher Self, but drew intelligence from it as well as information from the minds of the three individuals.

“RA was thus a created being composed of elements of reflected higher selves and the combined consciousness of the three individuals.”

I said this after reading Book One. Since then I am finishing up Book Five so have a pretty good grasp of the material. What is interesting is that in Book Five I find statements that back up my conclusion. Here are two quotes:

Quote One:

“The death of Don Elkins, questioner for the Ra contacts, in November of 1984, marked the end of the Ra contact because it was the harmony between the three of us which was the primary factor that allowed those of Ra to speak through our group.”

Quote Two:

“…contact with Ra that gave us the Law Of One material, because it was the combined energy of us three that contacted Ra, not myself as channel, or any one of us as L/L Research, or even L/L Research as an entity. This is clear from the simple dates: Jim came to L/L permanently on December 23, 1980, and we received our first contact from those of Ra on January 15, 1981, less than three weeks after Jim moved in. And Donald felt from the first session with Ra that this was his life’s work, the culmination of all he had been through since the 50s, and his gift to the world.”

Don Elkins was the main initiator of the project and gathered together a triangle, a trinity, of individuals which produces a natural point of power when they are united. As they continued with the channeling they were said to be attacked from the to time by dark forces which appeared to culminate in 1984 when Don was struggling with them and decided to commit suicide to end it.

After that, the medium, Carla Rueckert, lost contact with RA. Most channels are only dependent on themselves for spiritual contact, but this was different. That difference of a group channel caused material to come through that was higher than normal. Instead of working through one individual, the RA thoughtform had the minds of three individuals to scan as well as any information that could be accessed from things filtered down from their higher selves.

The result was information that has a lot of truth, but has errors mixed in. The big one was the prediction that we would be harvested to the fourth density around 2011-12.

An interesting contradiction occurs on the date of the Great Pyramid. In book one we are told that it was built 6,000 years ago, but then in book five a question was asked about it, while mentioning Edgar Cayce. In this case the date was 12,000 years ago which is in harmony with Cayce’s revelations. In this case a different date was given, most probably because RA scanned their minds and came up with the date given by Cayce.

Overall, I will conclude this. The intelligence of RA is the combined intelligence of the three people involved plus contact of their higher selves that was able to be filtered through the astral plane. It will be profitable if read through the light of the soul, but if the reader accepts every word as divine truth then he or she will incorporate some error within the belief system.

Truth and Inclusiveness

If someone is overweight and you blurt out that they are fat your are telling the truth. If they complain about your wording just stating that you are telling the truth is no excuse for your words. In addition, the person will want to avoid you and you should understand why. If you are really concerned about the person being fat instead of stating the truth in the most offensive way you could suggest some healthy foods that will make them feel and look better.

If I were in your situation (which I have been numerous times in my life) instead of accusing others of not being inclusive, blocking you, not willing to work with you etc I would ask myself why this is happening and what I can do about it? There are those who like your spunky personality and maybe you haven’t reached out enough to individual persons. Maybe with the right approach you can achieve more than you think.

To be inclusive does not mean you take everyone within your aura. If this were the case one would accept a marriage proposal from an abusive person. Inclusiveness balances against the principle of discernment and selection. For instance, we do not invite those who seem to have no soul contact into this group as it would destroy the possibility of creating a molecule. On the other hand, the principle of inclusiveness will cause us not to reject anyone because of race, sex, personality etc who is really trying and wants to be included. Then eventually the working molecule will only include those who can tune into the group soul contact, overlook personality flaws and see all others in the molecule as souls.

Heroes of the Past

Just look at history for the truth of this one. Jesus was crucified as a criminal and only had 120 followers after his resurrection, Galileo was charged with being a heretic, Ignaz Semmelweis who warned the world that doctors needed to wash their hands because of some invisible microbe was sent to a mental institution. Lincoln was called a tyrant by not only the Confederate states but by about half of the people in the North and the press, specially the New York Times, attacked him without mercy comparing him to an ape.

The great people of the past were rarely appreciated at the time but on hindsight it is easy to see that what they were doing was right. Even so it is today. Many initiates are struggling against the grain and seen as evil when they are working on the side of progress and reason.

The Kingdom Within

Concerning Luke 17:21 which states: “the kingdom of God is within you” where some say within does not really mean within – let me add this

“Within” in this verse comes from the Greek ENTOS which definitely means “within” or “in the midst thereof.” It is derived from the Greek word EN which implies inward, the opposite of EKTOS meaning without.

Both ENTOS and EKTOS are used in this verse:

“Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within (ENTOS) the cup and platter, that the outside (EKTOS) of them may be clean also.” Matt 23:26

Positive and Negative Poles

Every force corresponds to the two basic ones which are positive and negative. The positive and negative combinations produce many differentiations but, still, all such differentiations are reduced to two, which at the end of a cycle of creation are reduced to the one.

The positive corresponds to male, sending, radiation, light and forces that push from the center outward such as the dark energy which is causing the expansion of the universe.

The negative corresponds to female, gravity, magnetism, love, the strong and weak force.

Fulfillment

I posted this quote: “Fulfillment comes when the seeker realizes that there is a plan, catches a glimpse, and decides to play a part in its manifestation.”

To this a reader said, “there seems to be a negation of free will, if we’re all involved in some grand scheme. And therefore, whether we take part in it’s manifestation or not becomes irrelevant.”

My response:

Free will does not mean you have all power. A part of the universal plan are the cycles of night and day, but because you cannot prevent the sun from coming up does not mean you do not have free will. You have free will within your sphere of power, consciousness, or ring-pass-not.

Lesser intelligences always operate within a larger sphere of a plan of a higher intelligence, but if that greater intelligence is in the light then the seeker will have free will within his own sphere of power.

And what we do does matter because the greater lives depend on the lesser to manifest their portion of the plan, just as you depend on the cells in your body to function.

The Coming Revelation

A reader pointed out that DK did not say specifically that the new teachings after 2025 would come from him. I did some searching and it seems that he did not say who would be giving out the teachings. Here are two quotes I found about the coming teachings. I know I’ve read about more than thus in the past, but can’t find them at this time. I suspect that DK will play a major roll in the coming revelation.

“I can, however, attempt to give you certain concepts, relationships and parallels which may serve to close this section on astrology and lay a foundation for future teaching around the year 2025.” Esoteric Astrology, Page 589

“Occasionally (usually once in a century after Their Conclave at the close of the first quarter [2025]) there is the imparting of a more advanced body of teaching. This teaching will only be recognised by a few of the foremost disciples in the world; it will, however, prove to be the ordinary form of occult teaching during the next developing cycle. It is this type of work which I have been endeavouring to do with the aid of A.A.B.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 318

Understanding Grievances

To understand what a grievance is. Perhaps first one must understand what it is not.

If a person considers another person to be a distracting personality that he wishes to ignore that does not mean he has a grievance. I encounter many people I want to ignore but have absolutely no grievance against them.

If I go to buy a car and encounter an irritating high pressure salesman I will not have hurt feelings, but just go on to another lot and buy a car there. If I meet the guy in a grocery store and he starts up a conversation still there are no hurt feelings.

Hurt feelings come when you think you have been wronged and you blame the other guy in a way that causes negative feelings to well up inside of you. If, for instance, you have negative feelings you cannot dispel about people who have blocked you then that would be a grievance. If you do not and can care less about their reaction then there would be no grievance.

If someone who has blocked you but able to participate with you in a gathering but without hurt feelings then there would be no blockage of energy.

The fact is that all of us are attracted to some types of people and not to others. There are many people I want to avoid, but none of them have power to cause me to have a grievance.

To see the Christ in another does not mean that you do not recognize personality differences, but it does lead to overcoming grievances.

The Real Threat

Good article by Davis Borsos and I share his concern, but it amazes me that his biggest worry is human caused emissions when the planet has had over ten times the current level of CO2 and life has thrived. No where does DK warn of manmade climate change. Let us look at what he does warn us about:

“The release of atomic energy has not only put into human hands a potent force which will inevitably bring in a new and better way of life, but also a terrible weapon, CAPABLE OF WIPING THE HUMAN FAMILY OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. … The responsibility for its control must lie in the hands of the men of goodwill. They must control its destiny and make it available along constructive lines for the use of men everywhere.” Problems of Humanity, Pages 81-82

Again and again he talks about the saving power of goodwill that must be established between peoples, nations and groups. China, Russia, North Korea and others pose a terrible nuclear threat and goodwill is our best weapon to defuse the situation.

DK’s teachings on goodwill is what we need to promote, starting with our own political houses which need to quit demonizing each other.
