Other Differences in Light and Dark

Okay any other difference between light and dark?

Audience: Free will.

JJ: Yes, freedom, this is one of the big dividing ones. It is said that the war in Heaven where it talks about the war between Satan and God was fought over the principle of freedom. The side of Christ wanted to give free will to mankind and Satan wanted to keep it from mankind and control everybody because they would not be responsible and they could make a lot of mistakes with their own free will. His argument was that we will take away their free will and “I will assume command and I will make sure that none of the souls are lost or go down the wrong path and I will get all the glory.”

It is said that Christ said the opposite, He said we will give man free will and yes they will make mistakes but they will recover and they will learn on their own and I will be their teacher and give the glory to God and not take it upon myself.

The Father, or presiding One replied, “I will take the plan of The One who is to became Jesus, The Christ.” And so the legend has it that the struggle between having freedom and taking away freedom continues on the earth today and whether or not the legend is true is beside the point because what is true is that that struggle does exist right before our eyes today and yet, unfortunately, again every politician and every ruler in authority thinks that he or she is working for our freedom.

Now lets look at the most notorious guy in history. Do you think Hitler was fighting for freedom? He said this all the time, “I am fighting for the freedom of Germany, for your freedom and mine. He would say this regularly, but was he? No he was fighting so he could have control and tell the people what to do. In his warped mind he thought that once he got completely in charge of the world that he would lay out the rules and people would actually have more freedom. Actually, the only ones with more freedom would be the Nazi leaders.

The Brotherhood of Light teaches the principle of freedom and teaches it correctly. Such a teacher just does not say that I am going to give you freedom. The truth is that you cannot really give freedom to anybody. What the Brotherhood of Light does is they say I am not going to take your freedom away. The dark brother says I am going to change things and if you read between the lines you will find that he is going to take your freedom away and then in the next sentence he will say this is going to give you greater freedom. But this is a deception, what he does, he tells you it will give you greater freedom but it does not.

It is like what the politicians do with our taxes. They say, we are going to increase this tax here that is going to give you less freedom and less money to spend, less power over your own destiny, but we are going to give this benefit and the people that get this benefit will have a lot more freedom. The people that get the benefit are usually around 1% of the population of the country and the people that are going to get taxed are a 100% of the taxpayers of the country. So the amount of freedom taken away is much more than the freedom given.

The Light Brother will say that he is not going to take additional freedom away but “I am going to work to increase your freedom without taking anything away.” Freedom is a key word here because it is a key dividing point between the light and the dark. One thinks we need a good strong powerful central authority that is more intelligent than everybody else and can tell everyone what to do and set them in line, forcing them to do what is right. The side of Light trusts in the intelligence of the average person and wants to give them more control over their own destiny.

JJ: Okay what is the next difference between the Light and the dark.

Audience: Good and evil, the dark brothers want to take things back to a time where they have complete control and the Light Brothers want to move the human race forward.

JJ: Good! The Brotherhood of Light moves us forward in our progression. Again lets go back to Hitler, what did he want to do? Did he want to establish democracy on the earth? No, what did he want to establish?

Audience: The Empire.

JJ: The old Reich and the kingdom type government, the empire where you had a supreme commander telling everyone what to do and they had to do it or they would die. That is what he was working toward and that was going back in the past as far as government is concerned. He was also going back in the past with race. He was going for racial purity and was going to eliminate anyone who did not fit into his idea of a pure race. DK explains that this was also going back in the past that in the far distant past that this was what humanity actually tried to do. As a matter of fact if you even go back to the Old Testament you will read that they tried to keep all the races pure back then. So DK says that this time has past that Hitler was trying to return to the racial purity teachings of the past. The Light Brothers move forward.
What is another difference between the Light and the dark?

No answer.

I will give you one more that that is important, the Light Brothers are inclusive. On the other hand, Hitler was exclusive, he wanted to exclude the Jews, to eliminate them so we could cleanse the planet and have a fresh start, To the Brotherhood of Light, Jews are our brothers just like everybody else and we must treat them as equals. Blacks do not deserve to be slaves and, in other words, Abraham Lincoln represented inclusiveness because he worked towards the freedom of the slaves and uniting a nation. They include as many people as possible in whatever goal as part of the work of Light.

Okay anything else? I will tell you one thing, a trick that the dark brothers try and I will present their side. They work with labels and sound bites, and, in other words, they label people. This person is a hater and needs to be put down and silenced, they say. They will use labels and instead of saying, we disagree with this person and lay down a logical argument of why he is wrong. This is what the Brotherhood of Light does – they use Light to correct the person if he is wrong, where if the dark brothers disagree with someone they will attach a label to him – he is a sinner, he is a reprobate, he is a republican, democrat, liberal, conservative or whatever.

They will use whatever label sounds bad. They will apply the label to them, like hater, stupid, uneducated. The New York Times used to call Abraham Lincoln an ape all the time. Bigot is currently used a lot, and racist is a big one. I see so many people called racist today that don’t show any evidence of being racist at all. I find this very irritating but these are labels that they use and circulate them and if it gets circulated enough many believe them.

Hitler used to use this method of attack; he would label the Jews as being part of a conspiracy as an excuse to take over all the wealth and also label them as an inferior race. I do not remember all the labels but he had a number of them that he applied to the Jews and he operated on the idea that if you stick a lie on somebody long enough then the general public would soon accept it as the truth.

When Hitler became chancellor of Germany only a handful of people hated the Jews, not too many at all, but because he labeled them like this and no one really countered his argument then pretty soon the majority in Germany began to be affected by that label and began to feel good about persecuting the Jews.

Audience: Labels can also be used to put a positive label on something to further the agenda.

JJ: That is a good point also can you think of an example?

Audience: Like the whole green movement for instance.

Humor and Unselfishness

JJ: What are some of the other distinctions between the light and the dark?

Audience: The dark brothers are totally selfish and self-serving and the Brotherhood of Light is the exact opposite.

JJ: Light is selfless and dark selfish. Now, on the other hand, does the person who is selfish ever admit he is selfish? No it is like a maze trying to figure out who is who because they both say a lot of the same things. Not only will the dark brother talk about how selfless and virtuous and how much he has given to charity and how of this and that, that he has done but his acolytes will also praise him and say, oh Mr. Smith, he has done so much for the service of humanity. Maybe the guy is just totally selfish and what he has done with his selfishness is he has not given of himself but he has manipulated events and used other people’s money to buy the appearance of virtue. He will take other people’s money and build something with it and put his name on it and everyone will think that this guy gave us this bridge and he is a wonderful person.

There are politicians in Washington with dozens and dozens of buildings, monuments and bridges that are named after them and all they did was take other people’s money and buy it for us and it did not cost them one penny out their own pocket. As they take other people’s money to build the building to put their name on it they are increasing our taxes. If you want to look for the selfish politicians then I would look for the ones with the most buildings with their names on them.

The unselfish politicians will not care if a building has their name on it for what they care about is to get something done that will benefit this country and the people. You will find that this politician does not give a rat’s behind about whether or not a building has his name on it or not. I have found that the best politicians rarely have a building named after them until after they die and then somebody else does it for him.

Selfishness, the difficult part of all of these is the dark brother present himself as light like it says in the Bible – Satan himself presents himself as an angel of light. The selfish brother presents himself as altruistic and virtuous because he has managed to give his constituents all this stuff. I am a wonderful person because I give you this stuff, but he did not give it to us, he gave it to us with other people’s money.

When somebody says he will give you free stuff, I say that when they reach in their own pocket and pay for it with their own money then I think that is unselfish. If he did it with his own money, his own power and his own work and did it to benefit other people not using other people’s money then that is what I call unselfishness. So when a politician gets in an area of great influence and is able to buy stuff and put his name on buildings, bridges, libraries and such and get a lot of credit for being virtuous on other people’s hard work, I do not call this unselfish. I call it selfish because he is selfishly using other people’s money to build up his own ego.

Okay what other differences do we have?

Audience: I think the dark side is humorless and the light is joyful with humor.

JJ: Light side is joyful and has humor and dark is opposite. DK Himself points this out that the brotherhood of light has a good sense of humor and when you first begin to read his book you wonder if He has any sense of humor himself but once you get into it and study Him then you see some subtle little things he says which kind of make you chuckle every once in a while.

Take a look at Hitler, for instance. Whenever you see him talking he was so dead serious when he got up to speak with his body language and his voice, I can’t understand what he is saying and I would like to hear a clip where it is translated to see what he is actually saying. Every speech I have seen of Hitler, he sounds like he is mad at his dog or something. He sounds completely humorless and one of the things the allies did in World War II was they made fun of Hitler. They made jokes about him and made these films where they contorted Hitler and made him look like he was doing all this funny weird stuff and they would show the films in the theaters just to make fun of him and the whole audience would laugh and a lot people thought Hitler actually did this stuff. Hitler was manipulated in films to all kinds of crazy stuff like falling off of chairs and stuff like that. I am sure if Hitler ever knew about it that it probably really drove him crazy. It would be interesting for somebody to compile those old films, I have read about them but I have never actually seen them.

What is interesting between light and dark is that light has more than one meaning. In light we think of a light like this one right here but there is also light as in opposite of heavy. The dark brothers are heavy with their feelings and their thoughts are just sooo serious. The Brotherhood of Light is light in their thoughts and they are more carefree. Annie was something about how they go slow quickly. How was that worded Annie?

Annie: They hurry slowly.

JJ: They hurry slowly. In other words, the impression I got was that they have a deadline but they do not pursue the deadline with a state of hurriedness; they do it in a state of relaxation. Now often times when people have deadline it just drives them crazy and they get really nervous and uptight about it but the Brotherhood of light says, just relax, everything will be fine, concentrate and if you give yourself the right amount of time then you can pace yourself and be relaxed, move forward step by step and you can have your mission accomplished. Now the dark brothers are entirely different, it has to be done at a certain time or you die.

Audience: Laughter!

JJ: The mob is an extension of the dark brothers and you see these movies about them and what happens if the guy in the mob does not perform on time?

Audience: He gets whacked!

JJ: Yes, he gets hit over the head with a baseball bat or choked or shot or stabbed or tortured or fire placed under him or something crazy happens to the poor guy who does not perform or who does not get the good guy or whatever. So it is interesting how light applies in more ways than just brightness.

After Curtis and I were excommunicated we spent a number of times trying to enlighten the Mormons which is the hardest thing I have ever attempted in my life. We would go around and visit certain ones and the ones that bothered us the most we called them the squeaky clean ones. In other words, it looked like they had just got out of the shower and completely groomed no matter what time of day it was. The squeaky clean ones were always very serious and when we met with them and we presented what we thought were some of the problems in the church, they would talk to us like this, very slowly and in a deep voice, “Oh brother you know you are on dangerous ground here and you know that Satan has got a hold of you and that you can suffer very dark consequences if you continue upon this path.” They talk slowly deliberately and they are always squeaky clean. These types of guys really talk this way and they are washed, clean, groomed and I swear they have shaved within the past hour, all of them!

Audience: Laughing!

JJ: I always seem to have some stubble going on and I cannot get shaved like these squeaky clean ones. I found that interesting that I always found them to be in the squeaky clean category, now look at Dan over here, he would never fit in the squeaky clean category!

Audience: Laughter!

JJ: You look at him and he is mellow. He has an old T-shirt on and he is never really clean shaven entirely, and these are the type of guys that I find that I really trust a lot more than the ones who have that air of authority about them like, “I am in charge and I have authority here.” This type of guy is always rubbing me the wrong way.

Audience: I had a missionary come over to my house once and I could not get rid of him and I said you can excommunicate me please, please and then finally I said you ought to get laid and that did it he left after that.

JJ: If you want to get rid of them even faster give them my little booklet called Mormonism and Reincarnation. They will hold that in their hand like it is going to start on fire and they will get out of there really fast. Just say that you want to talk about it, for it has some scriptures proving that Joseph Smith believed in reincarnation.

It works with the Jehovah witnesses too. I use the Bible and Reincarnation with them. They come in and I say yes I have a little thing here that proves reincarnation in the Bible and I will take your literature and you take mine and they have the same reaction. It is like it is hot to their touch. It is funny during that time period that Curtis and I tried to enlighten the Mormons, we would give them some of our material and then come back and ask them if they read it. They would always give us the same answer and can you guess what that answer is?

Audience: No

JJ: What did they do with it, Curtis?

Curtis: Burned it.

JJ: Burned it. Nine times out of ten they would say that they burned it. And we would ask them, why did you burn it? They would say well somebody else could have got it out of the garbage and I did not want anybody to ever see that so we burned it. Even some of my family members told me that they burned some of my stuff. No they just did not throw it away they had to actually create a fire burn it to make sure no one would ever read it. It is amazing how many people told us that and it about blew us away and we would have never predicted that is what they would have done. But after it happened again and again we began not to be surprised when they told us that they burned our words and works.

Audience: There is a spiritual open house in New York City and I got off the subway and here was some kind of weird Christian fundamentalist group and he talked about energy pulses confirming something about the Virgin Mary and said well that is interesting, here is a spiritual event that is coming up and within two seconds after I handed him the pamphlet he was crumbling it up and throwing it away.

JJ: I can imagine, at a family reunion a while back I gave a copy of the Immortal to Curtis’s brother who was still in the Mormon Church and he did not want to refuse it because he did not want to hurt my feelings but he just could not hold it steady in his hand. It was like it was warm or hot in his hand or something. Strange.

When I visit my family members and look in their library the Immortal is never there even though I have given them all a copy. It is funny that how a message of light for those who are in darkness is very difficult for them to handle. It is like in the election of Abraham Lincoln for instance. We all acknowledge now he was a great Avatar and liberator, and most historians think he was our greatest president. But when he was elected the South was repulsed by him. They had heard the Lincoln and Douglas debate where he said, “A nation cannot exist half free and half slave and a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.”

Those words reverberated in the south and right after he was elected the south determined that they had to fight this guy. This is what happens with words of light when they are sent to where darkness is. They will be fought, they will be fought just like I talked about in discussing the words and works of the two witnesses. The beast fights against them and attempts to destroy them until their dead bodies are lying in the streets of the symbolic New Jerusalem and then people are sending gifts to one another because they are so happy that they can just have their little mediocre beliefs to celebrate.

Honesty

JJ: What is light and what does light do?

Audience: Reveals

JJ: Reveals, okay, light reveals truth and what is. Light reveals things as they really are and dark conceals. If you look at politicians, a politician that is influenced by the light will tell things as they really are, “Look I am really going to increase your taxes.” When is the last time we heard that? Never?

The politician who sides with the dark will say, no I am not going to increase your taxes and then within a month after getting elected, he supports increasing our taxes. What the politician did was conceal what he was really going to do from us and perhaps even from himself. He may have believed his own words.

“To thine own self be true and as the light falls the day thou can not be false to any man.” This is one of the greatest statements ever made. We have to be true to our self and I think many of these politicians actually believe what they are saying and then when they get in office and after about a month they join the good ole boys club and they are told that if they want to get along then you have to play ball and vote as they are told to vote and vote with the group. Forget about this individual stuff it does not work in Washington.

So the majority of the politicians are unable to reveal in the light and tell you what they will do. If you find somebody that does we will keep him or her, unless they have a screw that is too loose on what makes sense. Keep them for their honesty if at all possible.

So the light reveals what is and the Brotherhood of Light stresses the principle of honesty. This is one of the principles of liberation – to be honest. Now I have known people who believe this to the wrong extreme. I have known this person that if she sees someone that is fat she will say you are fat, I said why did you word it that way? Well she would say I was just being honest. I replied, you are honest but you are also cruel. You have to blend the virtues together not isolate them and take them to the extreme. So how could she have been totally honest about the gal being fat? For one she just could not have said anything. You know if your wife comes to and says honey, are my thighs too heavy? You are going to sleep on the couch no matter what you say!

Audience: Laughter!

JJ: The thing is to be honest and you could say, honey, you look better to me than the day we were married. You can say it and if you really believe that then you are honest and you are not saying anything negative. You probably are still going to sleep on the couch though because then she will say, you are avoiding the question – why are you avoiding the question? Answer me.

Women are so very mysterious to us guys. They are one of the last mysteries for us guys to unfold, the mind of the female.

So anyway the key is, “as honest as possible because you are in the light” you will notice that when you read the New Testament in the words of Jesus, He was starkly honest and he was usually polite and kind except when someone richly deserved to be told off. Then He was not beyond letting them have it. You remember in the temple where He made the whip and chased everybody out and turned over the tables because they were turning the house of God into a house of merchandise, which infuriated Him.

Audience: So could you think about it in terms of that you want to be honest and you are also practice harmlessness?

JJ: That is a good point because with the wrong wording of your honesty you can actually create harm for somebody. I remember Curtis wrote this paper and he was really enthused about it, I had done a lot of writing and I took a look at it and I pointed out some positive things and I was honest and it made him feel pretty good about and then Wayne comes in and Curtis says what you think Wayne? Wayne takes a look and says, man, this needs a lot of correction, give me your red pen.

He said his English is awful and he spent about a half hour on one paragraph until the paper was dripping with red ink. Curtis says, give me that back I do not want anymore feedback from you! And you could tell poor Curtis’ jaw just dropped as Wayne was making these corrections. When I commented I was nice as I could be and fed his ego a little bit but old Wayne, he just was not thinking of Curtis’s ego at all.  You could just feel ole Curtis sink as Wayne was going through this paper with that red pen. It was kind of funny from my angle but Curtis did not think it was funny! Wayne was having a good time destroying Curtis’s ego.

This illustrates that you have to be careful, Wayne and I were both honest but Wayne was just not thinking of Curtis’s feelings at all. Wayne is a really nice guy, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to correcting English, I am real hesitant to give him anything to look at. Now I just say, Wayne read this quickly and tell me what you think, don’t worry about correcting it. If he starts to correct it then he never gets through more than about three pages because he finds so many things to correct.

Wayne and I were both honest to Curtis but we chose different words to portray that honesty. I realized that was his first major attempt to write anything and being a writer myself I understand how important it is to have support and constructive criticism. I remember when I first started writing I was very fragile and positive feedback was much more important then than it is now. Now if I write something and someone has a negative opinion towards it then I just take it with a grain of salt.

So I figured Curtis would be more fragile at this early stage of his endeavor also and Wayne proved me right. So one of the keys to white magic is total honesty, honesty with graciousness, kindness and sometimes you may want to leave something out and leaving something out is not being dishonest. Leaving something out can support deception but if dome with judgment one can be totally honest with what is revealed.

Even in the Book of Proverbs it says, “It is the glory of God to conceal things.” In other words God, the Masters and the Higher Lives conceal a lot of things from us because as DK tells us, He says many times that I could tell you certain things but it could prove dangerous so I am not going to tell you right now. He says it will be revealed to those who are ready. Why does he not tell us? There are certain mantras the he says and words of power that He could give us but if they were used incorrectly they could cause insanity or death so I am not going to tell you how certain things work here because if a person is not ready then they could be misused.

So concealing a thing is not dishonest, especially if you admit you are concealing something. Now if a person is asked if he is concealing something and he says no, then that is dishonest. So to conceal a thing is not dishonest and is even supported by the Bible itself, but to state something that is just black and white not true is being dishonest. If I have a dollar in my hand and I tell you it is five dollars then that is an absolute black and white untruth. That is definitely something that we must avoid.

Something else that is not dishonest is telling a joke and I have told quite a number of jokes in my life and the basis of the jokes is always something that is not true but often times the principle of the joke is true. They say that only the truth is funny so jokes often illustrate some point of truth but a joke always has things that are untrue to really stretch the reality to make it funny and of course most people would not consider a joke to be dishonest because once a person gets the joke and then they realize what it is and it was just a joke.

What is funny though is when you tell a joke and people do not get it and they think you are being serious. I went into Kinko’s one time and I took out brand new twenty dollar bill  I had just got it from the bank and it was really fresh looking and crisp. It looked like it had just been printed, I had a couple dollars worth of copies and I handed it to the gal and said, it looks pretty good doesn’t it, I printed it up on one of your machines!

Audience: Laughter

JJ: She looks at it wondering if I had really done this and I saw she was worried I was a lawbreaker and said, I was just joking. She was just so nervous and she kept looking at it and she really believed I printed it up and she just did not get the joke.

Audience: On the same lines we often take cash when we are doing one of the shows, so will take five dollars at a time in cash for people who admission charge of five dollars, so at the bank she asked me how I got all this money and I said drugs, and as it turns out you have to report that. Good thing it all turned out well because I am sitting here.

Audience: Laughter

JJ: That is interesting. So light and dark the names of the two brotherhoods and reveals a lot about how they are different. The dark brothers conceal or deceive about everything and they portray themselves differently than they are. If one is a politician, for instance, he will present himself as the benevolent caretaker of humanity type thing that is going to do all kinds of good things for everybody. There may be blatant lies and deceptions and he or she may know they are deceptions but he says them anyway because the truth does not matter to them.

Now very few politicians are actually members of the dark brothers but the dark brothers do use certain people, especially if they have positions of power – they are much more likely to be used by the brotherhood than somebody like the average John Doe who has no position of power.

For instance, those who come to me and say, yea my ex-wife was in with the dark brotherhood. Well did your ex-wife have any power or influence? No she was a housewife. Well then what use would the dark brothers have for her unless she was committed to the dark path, and if she was committed to the dark path she would be doing more than just being a housewife.

So that is one thing to look for, the agents of the dark brotherhood will be people with influence and power. No one is put to use more in this particular age than the politicians. They also make use of heads of religions, heads of state, education groups, finance and banking. These people that are in positions of power are in a big struggle between the two brotherhoods. Very few of them are actually members of the dark brotherhood for to be a member of the dark brotherhood, you have to actually make a certain degree of progress, you have to reach the point to where you are approaching the third initiation. You have to reach the point to where you have mastery over the physical and emotional to a fairly high degree before you can see the choice.

Now you can be used before this point, but you have to reach a fairly high degree before you can actually make the choice because you cannot join either one of the two brotherhoods consciously until you have the two paths open up before you and see clearly what the two paths are and you make a conscious definite choice. So unless the person you know has made the definite choice, he or she is not a dark brother. However, as DK also says all of humanity are under control of the antichrist forces and almost all of humanity are used to a degree by the dark brothers because they have people in positions of power and they influence and the average person to a high degree. The average person is much more influenced by emotion and selfishness than they are with group consciousness and altruism and group service. Not too many people are into the higher virtues and average humanity, almost everybody, is influenced by individual selfishness.

If a politician gets up and the first thing he or she says is, “Here is what I am going to do for you.” And whatever that may be whether it is lots of benefits and entitlements, or rebates or tax cuts or to pay you for education and you get a piece of the government nest egg and so on. You can be sure that you must be very wary of that kind of talk about what they are going to do for you. Now the worker in the light, of course, serves us but He is not going to serve just by having the government give stuff to us. He is going to help to increase our state of freedom. The worker on the side of light increases freedom and the worker on the dark side will say that they are going to give stuff to you and they are going to put benefits on every plate of some kind, but the price will be a decrease in freedom.

Identifying Light and Dark

One of the things I thought I would talk about and one of things DK talks about in the book on White Magic is the difference between the light and dark brotherhoods. I have heard quite a few people say; I think my ex-husband (ore wife) was a dark brother.  Or my ex-boyfriend he was a dark brother and I have different people coming to me and identifying people that they thought were dark brothers but in very few cases they would really be right because if a person is somebody that goes against your belief system or seems cold and hard then that does not a dark brother make. All of us have been through a number of lives and even though Robin here is just as sweet a gal as you can find anywhere, maybe a hundred lifetimes ago she was really someone to be reckoned with. She may have caught Larry doing something she did not like and taken care of him right there, on the spot.

But this is why it is important when we look at other people that we be careful when we judge them, because as we judge them we may be identifying something we have been or will be and if we can identify with being that then we are much more careful about judging the other person.

Say if a person has been a thief a past and he is not a thief anymore. You will find that person to very cautious about condemning the person that is a thief because they will think, well I understand the mindset, it is wrong and I understand it is wrong but he will be careful about condemning the person that has done what he himself did. This is the attitude all of us should take in dealing with other people.

Many people have all kinds of individuals in their lives that just irritate and annoy them very much. What we have to look at is that we all have our share of faults and we do our share of irritating other people. We must be cautious about judging people where they are in the moment.  It helps to remember the truism – “There but for the grace of God go I.”

Do we all know people that judge much more harshly than this? They judge, as they could never have been guilty of such a thing. Some crimes are so heinous that people think that they could never be like that and that is very possible in the future but not so much in the past. And this one of the beautiful things knowledge brings to us about understanding reincarnation. There is more than one life and if we are 500, 700, 900 lives old in this system then we have probably done everything there is to do and where that person is, we have been.

Curtis read the statement from the Aquarian Gospel, quoting the words of Jesus, “Where I am you shall be and what I have done you can do.” And it works in reverse. We find someone that is in prison somewhere for some crime and what he has done, we have probably done. It works in reverse on the backward scale and it also works positively when we think of a Master like Christ or an example of a great athlete that we want to become like or a great statesman that we want to become like or a great writer, that he can inspire us. What he is I can be and that is a very inspiring thing.

And almost every person that achieves greatness finds some role model that he thinks – what he is, I can be. Look what he accomplished starting from nothing. What is the reason that I can’t do the same thing? This person rose in the company so why can’t I, or this person started a business so why can’t I? This person wrote a book – I can write a book. This type of example really helps. So often our judgment is a very important key.

Live and let live is another important phrase. If people would just live and let live the whole world would be a lot better place. Imagine if Germany, Italy, the United States, Europe, just before World War II had said, lets all get together and just live and let live. Hitler would have got together with the Jews and the Jews would have said, Hitler how about just live and let live. You do your thing and we will do ours. How about that? If Hitler would have just okay then the whole problem of World War II, the whole conflict, millions upon millions of lives could have been saved if people would have just been a little bit tolerant and just live and let live.

When you think of that it is a very important principle. There are a lot of people in this world that just do want to live and let live and they think, this person is really screwing up and this person is saying this and this person is a dark brother and this person is evil and this person is on the wrong path he needs to be set straight or something worse. This type of attitude creates a tremendous amount of problems for humanity. If we just live and let live and judge softly thing would be so much better.

The scripture does not say do not judge because we have to judge. The key to my book The Lost Key of the Buddha is actually judgment but it is judgment in the positive sense for we have to make judgments in order to move ahead. The scripture does not say do not judge but if you judge then you will be judged with the same type of judgments that you handed out. What you hand out in judgment will come back. In other words, if we make a harsh judgment then somebody will come along and make a harsh judgment toward us but it does not say don’t judge. As a matter of fact there is another scripture that says, “When you judge, judge righteously.” It tells us to have “right use of judgment.”

That is one of the things that I try to do in my life is to be sparing in my judgment and not be harsh but try to always think, that guy is not where I am right now but I have probably been there so I should understand where he is coming from as much as possible.

Now, the question might be asked what is the true difference between the brotherhood of light and the brother hood of darkness? Let’s make a list of differences between the brotherhood of light and the dark brothers. First of all what is the most obvious difference? Let us name a few.

The Magic Quarters

JJ: I will tell it quickly, Artie, Wayne and I went to this Chinese restaurant and we all got these fortune cookies and we opened them up and they all had exactly the same wording. This was unusual to say the least. They all said that we would have a fortune come into our hands in the near future or something like that. In other words the message was that we were really going to get rich. I thought, this is kind of interesting, so Wayne signals the waitress and says that something is wrong with these fortune cookies. We all got the same thing and that never happens, please bring us three more.

So the waitress brings us three more and Artie and I opened ours and again they said exactly the same thing and Wayne’s said the same thing but with a little bit different wording. We thought, wow all the fortune cookies must say the same thing here  but the waitress assured us this was a rare occurrence – that there were many different fortunes.

I did not think much of it and then the next morning when I got up and put on my bathrobe and started walking down the stairs. Suddenly, quarters started falling from somewhere on the stairs! I thought what in the world, I was looking around and I thought well that is kind of odd.

The next day I got up, put on my robe and started walking down the stairs and quarters started falling from somewhere again. I thought what in the world, so I took off my robe and started searching the pockets for this was all I had on. There was nowhere those quarters could have come from. I started thinking about the fortune cookies and that was kind of miraculous, quarters falling down the stairs twice that seemed to appear out of thin air – could this be a miracle? Nah, there must be a logical explanation, I was thinking like Larry there, logical,

It happened a third time and I was just beside myself and I figured it must have been something in my robe that I had not seen or I missed something. The next day I was taking a shower and all of a sudden, plunk, right on the bottom of the shower a quarter had fallen from somewhere and I thought where did this quarter come from? I picked it up and said it can’t just materialize from out of thin air; that is impossible. So I thought to myself, this might be a real sign and I am not a big believer in sign type miracles, but this might be a sign that we are going to get rich, so I want to keep this quarter! !

Audience: Laughter!

JJ: Anyway, I put it aside and I started telling everybody about the miracle of the quarters and it looked like it was our destiny to get rich. Well this was about ten years ago and I am not rich yet so you can read the tea leaves here.

Audience: Maybe you should have asked dollars.

JJ: For about a year I believed it must be type of real legitimate sign. Until I finally discovered what happened. I got out of bed from taking a nap one time and I walked in the bathroom and looked in the mirror and there stuck on my body was a couple of quarters and then I put it together. It was not a miracle after all and I made a fool of myself telling all my friends about the miracle of the quarters.

Here is the explanation… I was taking a nap with my pants on during that time period and I had a bunch of change that had fallen out and on to the bed and then when I went to bed at night, I slept on the quarters and they stuck to my body and then when I was walking down the stairs they fell off my body and when I was taking a shower one was stuck on my tummy and it fell off and landed on the floor, seemingly coming out of nowhere.

Audience: Laughter

JJ: I was kind of disappointed because I had told everybody about the miracle of the quarters and that it must be our destiny to get rich quick. So I was pretty disappointed and what reminded me of that again, is when I took my last shower quarters mysteriously appeared at my feet again. I do not know where they came from. Did anybody go and stick quarters in my shower within the past hour? Is somebody playing a trick on me?

Audience member: When I came in the room I heard some quarters0 fall and I think they fell out of your pocket.

JJ: Well how did they get in the shower because I did not have my pants on while I was taking a shower?

Audience: Roaring with laughter!

JJ: Two quarters and I was thinking I remember telling this to somebody over the past couple of days and I thought it was Susan but I wasn’t sure. Perhaps the person I told it to is trying to pull a trick on me. Have you been in my shower?

Audience: No, laughing!

JJ: I am wondering where those quarters came from.

Audience: At the Wendy’s where me, Eddie and Lorraine stopped in, I went over to get a spoon and someone left a ton of change on top of this one spoon packet over there and I just picked up the change spoon.

Okay what we are going to demonstrate is something quite magical, the point we are going to show you the physical correspondence where land water and air meet. We did this at the very first Gathering and it did not work very well, after we did it about 20 times then we finally got it to work but it was very agitating and I have practiced it this time and I know it will work. But we can make mental float on water. It floats on the point which is neither wet nor dry where land, water and air meet. We are going to do it in this order here.

Everybody walk up here and please don’t shake this because if you shake it, it will make it harder. We are using a paper clip and last time we used a needle and a needle works pretty good but I found a paper clip and this seems to work even better and is actually heavier than a needle. Have you ever seen a needle or a paper clip float on water?

Audience: Some yes and some no.

JJ: Okay we are going to make this paper clip float on water, This is so weird, it I told myself that this was not going to happen again and we are having a little bit of a problem here, again. I did this a half a dozen times at work and the tissue sank with like 6 seconds. (The paper clip finally floats) Anyway we have metal floating on water, now look at the point where air, water and land meet, it is neither wet nor dry.

You have surface tension, you can see the clip floating on it and you can see the surface tension holding it. Where the paper clip is touching the water it is not wet, but it is also not dry because it is touching water. So you have the little correspondence, which is where the land, air and water meet which is neither wet nor dry. I am glad we got it to work this time, thank God. Let’s see how long it floats.

Audience: So eventually this will sink?

JJ: If it is not disturbed then it will go on forever. If we walk around and create some ripples then it will eventually break the surface tension. It’s funny at the first gathering we did this and I did it over and over and over and I could not figure out what the problem was until found out that I was using distilled water which has a little bit less surface tension than regular water.

It is still floating and will continue until someone jumps around and disturbs it. Anyway I thought that was a very interesting demonstration here of how this corresponds to the point. Everything that is true has a correspondence on different levels and when I read rule number eight I thought now what could be the correspondence on the physical level? Then it occurred to me that we do have a correspondence on the physical level where metal can actually float on surface tension and the surface tension has to be broken before the metal can get wet and as long as the surface tension is not broken then the metal that is floating is neither wet nor dry.

And the same thing with us; we create a point of tension to enter into the soul contact. And that point of tension creates a place, which is neither emotional nor mental, nor earthly, but it is pure soul energy, as DK said, this is where magic takes place.

White Magic

JJ: I will just touch some of the basics of “The Treatise On White Magic.” This was the first book by Alice A. Bailey that I had read all the way through. It is not the first book that I bought though. I had just returned from a mission from the Mormon Church. I was 21 years old and going to college in Moscow, Idaho. About 30 miles south is a town called Lewiston and I was exploring a used bookstore there. The bookstore owner came up to me because he realized the books I was looking at was in the weird section or whatever. I have always been interested in unusual material from time I was 6.

Anyway he takes this book off the shelf and says, “You would probably be interested in this book.” It was “Letters On Occult Meditation” by Alice A. Bailey. Now for a guy raised in a fundamental religion the word “occult” is normally a turn-off but for some reason it attracted me and I thought, well it does sound interesting so I will look through it.

Then I looked through the list of all the books published by Alice A. Bailey. I saw “A Treatise On Cosmic Fire” and I thought, what in the world is that? A Treatise on White Magic, A Treatise on the Seven Rays, These were fanciful sounding titles and it would be interesting to see what these books are about. So I bought the book on meditation and I took it home sat down, opened up and read about 3 or 4 pages and I thought, whoa! For one thing I got to the part about reincarnation which challenged me for the church taught that reincarnation was the doctrine of the devil. I thought, “Even though this writer believes in reincarnation, this person really sounds like she knows what she is talking about more than any philosophical writing I have ever read.”

For some reason I told myself that I was not ready to read it yet, so I closed it up and put it on the shelf. It stayed there for about three years. Then I was in another bookstore about three years later in Portland and I was browsing through the books and I was kind of at a low point in my life and I looked up and saw The Treatise on White Magic and I thought, “I am going to buy this book.” It was a lot more reading than the book on meditation and I was going to read it all the way through and see what the teachings were all about. I had been thinking about it for three years now and I thought I was ready to read one of the books all they way through at that time.

So I bought that book, went home and forced myself to read it. When I first started reading it, it did not make any sense and I was little bit like Annie and I thought maybe I would learn a little magic from this book thinking of the common understanding of what we think magic is. As you read along you think, well where is the magic?

Audience: Laughter

JJ: But anyway, as I read along I found a couple points that stimulated my interest and agreed with a number of principles that I had learned on my own and by the time I had finished the book I closed it and said I was going to read everything she has ever written because this is the highest knowledge that I have ever read and from that point on I was hooked on the Alice A. Bailey material. My book on White Magic is so worn out that it does not even have a cover on it anymore.

The question we might ask is, what is white magic? If white magic is not what Annie and I were expecting when we first sat down and read it then what is white magic and why is it called magic? The answer is partially revealed in that rule that Annie said was her favorite and is mine also, Rule # 8,

“The Agnisuryans respond to the sound. The waters ebb and flow. Let the magician guard himself from drowning at the point where land and water meet. The midway spot, which is neither dry nor wet, must provide the standing place whereon his feet are set. When water land and air meet there is the place for magic to be wrought.”

Where water land and air meet… visualize this spot in your mind. Now we have a bunch of water out there and then we have land and air. They all meet in a spot that is neither wet nor dry – visualize this in your mind – where is that spot, where magic occurs? It is hard to visualize a place where land water and air meet which is neither wet nor dry. It is not a spot that you can really touch with your finger is it? This is the place where soul contact is made. And where soul contact is made, you bring down the magical powers of the soul and magic does occur and it is not magic as we think of it. You kind of think that when most people first buy a book like this – they are probably thinking of tricks like a common magician might do but the ultimate white magician according the Bailey books and the Master Djwhal Khul who authored them through her was…? Who was the Ultimate magician?

Audience: Christ

JJ: Jesus, yes, Jesus was the Greatest White Magician in our recorded history for he did many magical things. He turned water into wine, walked on water, healed the sick, raised the dead, had a resurrection, He did a lot of interesting magical things. Now none of us are as accomplished as Him but we can still do the magical works of the soul. When we had our healing session some people felt energy come down and enter into them and it produced some results. Some had more results than others because of that point which is neither wet nor dry, where land, air and water meet within them.

Water is symbolic of the soul, land is symbolic of physical reality, and air is symbolic of the mind and also the higher worlds. So where the three worlds meet within us is that point where soul contact can be made and magical things can occur. I have seen magic occur sometimes in my life and then other times I have been somewhat frustrated and when I really wanted the magic to occur it did not occur. There are so many things behind whether or not a miraculous event occurs. For instance in healing, the person’s karma, the person’s belief system, the blockage that is within him, the lessons that he has to learn all kinds of things, but every once in a while you have the magical flow of the soul occur and the energy happens and a genuine miracle will occur. How many here have heard me tell about the miracle of the quarters? I told somebody, was it you?

Audience Female member: Yes

JJ: Do you mind if I tell it again?

Audience female member: Not at all!

JJ: Do you know why I want to tell it again? Because I just found two quarters in my shower not ten minutes ago! Laughter!

Audience: I had a toad jump out from underneath me in the shower on one of the wooden things in there! Then I looked down and there was another one and he jumped at me!

A Unique Universe

Audience: I have a theory, in the mental health field there is a diagnosis called sociopath, my theory has been that the sociopath is not connected with their golden thread anymore and they have completely severed their connection and are no longer connected to the collective consciousness of human beings and that is why they are able to commit their atrocities. If this theory is correct than is that a sign that they are on the dark path or are they truly a dark brother walking amongst us?

JJ: It could be except a sociopath often lacks an understanding of what they are doing and it is more of an illness. I think some of them still have the thread that will eventually be re-established. A person can be temporarily be disconnected from the soul for a lifetime and then re-establish the connection in a future life. What makes a dark brother different is that he sees the two paths for he has to be a fairly advanced soul before he can even choose the dark path, Like Hitler chose the dark path and he was a very intelligent person, a second degree initiate, so he was fairly high there.

He had the birth of the Christ within at one time in his past and he had worked to overcome glamour and then he misused the plane of the mind and that is why he used the mind to teach the Nazis to overlook all compassion. Do not have compassion for these people because that will be our downfall, and so the whole of Nazism operated on the ideal of no compassion. The true dark brother chooses the path and he knows what he is doing and Hitler knew what he was doing. A typical sociopath is not advanced enough to make the choice necessary to be a dark brother and must be healed and come back several times before he can even make the choice.

Audience Larry: On the life of the soul, you wrote an article on someone who really did not have a life living in primitive circumstances.

JJ: Was that the book I started and never finished on the progression of the soul from self-consciousness to initiation?

Audience Larry: Yes it was on the progression of the soul and I would like you to finish that one. My point is that everyone at some point is very early in the life of the soul, and at that point they are almost like the sociopath and have little empathy or sympathy for anyone, they are like a very young child that does not understand these things yet. They could hurt someone and laugh because they have no concept of these situations. Some of these people we call sociopaths, evil or whatever, they will come along and if they want something then they will kill someone and take it not thinking about it. A lot of times this person is far down on the evolutionary scale,

Audience member: Yes but their intelligence is high.

Audience Larry: Yes their intelligence is high but intelligence is not sympathy or empathy and those are learned through experiencing life.

JJ: And this is an interesting point, all of us go through a period of extreme selfishness that lasts for a number of lifetimes in our evolution. If you are not selfish now then you probably were in a past series of previous lifetimes. What this process of selfishness teaches us is that selfishness does not bring us happiness. So we have to go through selfishness until we reach the bottom of selfishness and then when we reach that point we have to ask ourselves the question of do I want to continue on this path and is this working for me? Some people will go off the path and then come back on and it is very difficult to get off the path of selfishness but most of us accomplish this after many struggles.

Audience: Some people refer to the selfish nature as the reptilian part of your brain.

JJ: Many seekers, when they see someone in that mode they will say that they are on the dark side. Most of these people are not on the dark side, but are going through that selfish point in their evolution and they will eventually come back around to the path of light and group consciousness.

Audience: Most people do learn when they experience pain and suffering and begin to pick up empathy but some other people instead of picking up empathy say that they have just not perfected their focus to get what they want.

JJ: That is a good point, they will say that they are just not selfish enough and I have to use my selfishness with more ingenuity and I will be happy. Then there are those who go off the path of selfishness like Hitler and move up to the second initiation and the selfishness was never completely conquered in his mind. He read all kinds of philosophies and developed a mental philosophy in his mind that pure selfishness was the answer to what he needed to accomplish and so he did everything he could to undermine all the work of the soul.

Audience: I have a difficult question to ask. So we have these forms, our physical, emotional and mental forms which are all surrounded by illusion, but then we have the eternal essence of ourselves which is the power of choice. It is our agency to decide, and our soul and in that realm is our reality yet for some reason that is the enduring part of us but we only have a strand or golden thread to it. We talk about the selfishness of people and that ultimately the soul will reach out and bring us back. If that is our essence and who we truly are then why is it that we have such a difficult time removing or casting off the illusions and contacting our true self? You talk about selfishness and the soul is always reaching out to them and trying to bring them back. Why is the link so fragile and why is it not the rushing of waters because that is really who we are.

JJ: Do you play the piano?

Audience: Just a little bit.

JJ: Tell me something you cannot do. Tell me something that you could not do at all if someone asked you to.

Audience: Calculus

JJ: You have within you the seed of intelligence to be an Einstein in calculus. But you have never done it before. So you just cannot come and have the calculus thread connected which can give you the ability to be a master of it. This can just not happen overnight because you have not mastered calculus in all your history of past lives – so you are starting fresh but within you have the seed for being an Einstein in math. If you decide that you want to make that connection with yourself that will cause you to develop all these abilities and it will take a period of time to master, but if you put your attention on it you will accomplish it.

Now it is true we have a connection with God that has unlimited potential, but the spark of God has never come down mastered through you in physical existence, so you are like a baby just learning here and it takes a long period of time for us to go from scratch in our learning to mastering everything. The spark is within and has potential for us to do anything we decide to do and be anything we decide to be but we have never done this before. It is like in the Book of Revelation; it says “I create a new heaven and a new Earth behold I do all things new.”

That which has never been before will be called into being. In other words, the life of God through us and through the universe is to always be doing new things. Concerning this universe that we are in now – there has never been a universe like it in the history of eternity.

This is a universe that is unlike any others and there have probably been billions of them in existence in the past. This one is totally different, and why is it different? It is new because the life of God wants new challenges, and that is what gives us joy – having challenges and mastering them.

Visualize God when He created this universe and He thought, well the last universe I mastered was tough but was fun to do. I did not think I was going to get out of that one because it was a really difficult but now I have mastered it and I cannot do the same thing over so I am going to create a more complex one and this one is going to be even harder to master. I have to let the old one go and then create a new universe all over again.

So each time God creates a new universe He does it with additional complications to make it interesting. When we play a game do we want to play a game where we win all the time? Monopoly is a great game because it has tremendous pitfalls. You can loose everything in one move and then in another move you can gain everything and it is really a good example of how life works. Life is like this. So God created this universe and you are part of the creation. Your job is to come down and enliven the spark of God within you and master everything within your sphere and what you are doing is different than any other being in the entire universe; your problems are unique to you.

As each one of us look over our lives we can all see this. No one has lived a life exactly like I have lived, thank God, and nobody has live life exactly the way that Susan has lived. We all have our complications and it is our job to solve them and solving them is what makes life interesting. We do not want to play a game unless there is tension. The greatest game that the Boise State Broncos played was the Fiesta Bowl in 2007. How many of you saw this? You saw it Larry. That was a pretty good game, wasn’t it?

There we were, the underdog and we had never played a team of this caliber before and there were on national TV and were ahead by several touchdowns and then we had a fluke turnover happen and got behind and it looked like we had lost the game. Then in the last 20 seconds we scored a touchdown that took the game into overtime. The overtime lead to a two-point conversion and by hook and lateral play, a very inventive play and we pulled it off. At a tremendous risk pulled the victory out of the hat and I will tell you Boise has never been so thrilled, the whole city was celebrating! Those guys came home and they were like the biggest heroes you had ever seen. We not only beat Oklahoma, but we beat them in the last 20 seconds! That point of tension caused everyone in Boise to feel good about their life for a month or two. If you met someone in a grocery store they would go, oh did you see that game? Go Broncos! Even people that did like football were excited.

It was a great game because it was tough, it was really hard. John Kennedy said, we were going to moon, not because it is easy but because it is hard. You do not hear a politician make that statement anymore. If Bush were to say that now than people would look at him and say, you know that Bush was as stupid as I thought he was. But Kennedy said this in a way that got to us and when we landed on the moon we were celebrating! It was like Boise winning that Fiesta Bowl, it was a great feeling!

Audience: I do not know Tyler if this might shed some light on what you asked but I have been thinking about what you said and I have had one or two experiences where I felt like I was really connected to something higher spiritually and you asked why is our connection so tenuous and why is it not like a rushing water. I really think that at least for me and where I am at right now that if I had a really strong continuous connection with that spirit, it would almost take away my ability to have free will because it is so overpowering, it is so,

Audience member: It would be so easy to just sit there and wallow in it and enjoy it.

Audience: Exactly, I think it would take away my ability to make decisions because I would be overwhelmed with the pure joy and delight of it, so maybe that is the reason that our connection is tenuous because if it were not than our ability to experience and grow and make decisions and do all the things that we are here to do would be some how overpowered by that.

Audience: I think it is like when baby is born and grows and begins to use muscles and build them up. Our spiritual connection is like a muscle and the more you use it the stronger it gets. The stronger it gets the more you begin to know the joy of that muscle and all that it can do and I think that through free will we choose to build the muscle and when not, and as you get stronger and stronger you find that you do not have to work out all the time and you balance that. I think it is the same thing with spirit, it builds like a muscle and just like you get to the point where you want you physical body in good shape you want your spiritual connection to be solid, continuous and always present because that way it becomes who you are just like your muscles in your body become the machinery that you are working in. You can fine-tune your machine so that it is not holding you back from doing what you want it to do. In turn allowing you more freedom to do more and grow and the time, attention and focus is what allows that allows that growth to take place.

JJ: Yes and when it does take place then you feel a really great sense of accomplishment and if it were easy than you would not feel this sense of accomplishment.

Audience: And you get so used to it that it becomes a part of you are that is it is turned off or shuts down then you feel alone and lonely because you are used to having that connection and it becomes who you are.

Audience: The nature of all this as I understand it is to master the spirit in the physical, to bring the duality into one eventually and thus completing one task so that we may take on another.

JJ: Master the spirit and conquer the flesh so to speak.

Audience: This is a good teaching environment.

Audience: maybe God knows that we are more capable of what we are than we do and pushes us to achieve more.

Audience: If you want to teach somebody something you want the right environment for him or her so that they can teach through trial and error from experiencing the lesson first hand master the ability to the greatest extent that they can. And so if we had an environment that was easy then how would we master anything and how much growth would take place? If we have an environment that is complex and with multiple choices and multiple sides of illusion so that the more choices we have then the more diversity and discernment and choice, the chances that we are given so that we can get good at it, the environment has to be conducive so that we get the maximum learning potential from it. What we came to learn was not easy so why would we have an easy environment to do it in.

JJ: It is a little bit like basic training. You could say that we are in basic training right now. Basic training is hard so that you will be successful in the end.

Audience: Why call it hard? Just try to understand it. Just simply understand that there is this difference.

JJ: In basic training if you understand it, it still hurts.

Audience: Laughter. It is like you said earlier, God made it hard on purpose, and if I understand you correctly that He has made this so hard that there is the potential that He will not win at this game.

JJ: Yes, He can lose a number of times but the Spirit is eternal and eventually finds a way to succeed. The more difficult it is the more driven we become.

Applying Harmlessness

Susan: I had a really interesting situation at my job, we think one of the sub contractors is stealing things from us and I have some pretty good evidence against him and I am trying to convince the builder to not pay him on certain bills because he is stealing from us and I checked up on him every 2 hours and all the evidence leads to him and I am not paying him on this job or I am going to subtract what he took. My boss looks at me and says that we are not going to be vindictive if he does the job then we are going to pay him, this is a separate issue. I could not believe it. My boss was not going to allow what that mans perceived actions were determine what his actions would be.

JJ: That is a good point and it reminds me of a story of this guy in line waiting to buy a newspaper and the guy in front of had the wrong change or something like that and he just started to verbally bash the clerk and the clerk responded with kindness and treated him nice, then the guy left and the next guy in line said, how can you allow someone to talk to you like that without lashing back at him? The clerk answered, I just made up my mind that I was not going to let people like that control my behavior and if I lash out back at him then he is controlling my behavior, I decide what my behavior is going to be and so I decided that I was going to be nice to everyone and that of course includes him.

Reminds of one time when I was selling advertising and when you are in phone sales you get some fairly aggravated people. It was not as bad back then as it is now as there were not that many telephone salespeople. I called up this one guy and he was really in a bad mood or something, he just raked me over the coals and I was really nice to him and just took it then we hung up. A few minutes later the phone rings and it was him and he was just apologizing and he said, “you know you were so nice to me that it made me feel bad, so how much is that ad?” He wanted to buy an ad because of guilt. I was so nice to him and he started comparing his behavior to mine and it made him feel ashamed of himself. So every once in while a good deed does help.

I remember the story the other day on the news that this robber broke into this family’s home and they invited him to sit down and eat dinner and have a glass of wine with them and he did and when it was it was all over the robber says can we have a group hug.

Audience: Laughter

JJ: And so they gave him a group hug and the robber left without robbing them. This made the national news because it was so odd. A lot of people made fun of the story saying that was really stupid for the family to treat the robber that way and others were praising the family but really once in a while the golden rule that Jesus taught us works.

Now you have to use your judgment, the Tibetan says that a true dark brother is not influenced by anything of this nature that you will do. He will go after what he wants and he will have absolutely no sympathy or understanding of any act goodness that you do towards him – it will have absolutely no impact on him at all. But the person who is still in touch with the soul, like this robber, who was in a bad place but his soul was still trying to reach him and these people were trying to influence him.

The same thing with turning the other cheek – if you turn the other cheek to someone who still has a thread connected to his soul and he slaps you on the other cheek – you think, mmm, that did not feel right. Now, if he thinks you are a terrible person slapping you on the other cheek may feel good to him but if you do no harm and actually turn the other cheek the person with a bit of soul contact who slaps the other cheek will think, “that just did not feel right.”

It affects the person who still has a thread connected to his soul. But when the thread is disconnected from the soul then everything you do will have no effect on him. Let us take Hitler for example, he actually taught the people under him to have no sympathy to the Jews. He said, now when you go out and you control these people you have to think of the vision so to speak, what we are trying accomplish, and this will be your only objective. Have no sympathy for their feelings or for them as human beings. You have to look on them as objects that have to put out of the way of our road so that we can progress forward.

So he taught the people under him to have no feeling and this is why the Nazis began to look at the subjects under them as people in a chess game with no human empathy. They had interplay with each other but not for the people they were subjecting and this is why they were able to do the atrocities they did because they did not allow any love, sensitivity, or good will to get in the way.

There are people like that and when we sense these people the best thing to do is use the principle of attrition and stay out of their path so you do not get into their consciousness. Do not attempt to do any good will to those who you sense that are on the dark path, because these types of people are completely unreachable. Most people can still be reached. The trouble with the Nazis is they were trained. Most of the Nazis still had a thread connecting their soul but Hitler trained them to over look that thread. This is what made them so cruel for they were trained to overlook the possibility that they had any soul contact.

Audience: How often in your perception do people step back from the edge of this darkness?

JJ: Once they get so far it is impossible for them to go back.

Audience: How often do you see it because your character in the book is like that in that other planet?

JJ: All of us in our journey go pretty close to the edge and what happens when you get close to the edge is that your soul makes every attempt to bring you back and in most cases it will eventually be successful for it has put you through so much pain because of your mistakes that you eventually ask the question: Why God? And then you start searching.

Audience: What or where is the edge to going away from soul contact completely? Like to become so cold and hardened like the Nazis were?

JJ: You see the Nazis did not think they were doing anything wrong but just following orders. On reflection, after the war they saw it was the wrong thing to do but did not realize it at the time. Many of them still had that link to the soul but Hitler taught them to overlook that link. There were a handful at the head of the Nazis that probably had severed the link completely.

Audience: So you become totally insensitive, is that what you mean?

JJ: Yes the dark side is what Jesus calls sinning against the Holy Ghost or we could call it sinning against the Soul. The fact is that we all go through a period of selfishness in our evolution but then our selfishness takes us dead ends and unhappiness, and we start to examine ourselves and ask why am I unhappy? Maybe you were rich and good-looking but still unhappy. Selfishness brought the pilgrim a lot of things and he is not happy with it. So he begins to ask, “what can I do to make my life happy?”

Through a period of pain most people begin to understand love and goodwill toward men and that we are all brothers and then start to achieve soul contact. But there are still a handful of people that think they are just not selfish enough and need to be more selfish still until they get control of their surroundings. These are the people that enter the real dangerous territory and eventually what happens to these that take the dark path is they sever the link with their soul completely and create a lower vibration of matter that surrounds them that is almost like an extra vehicle that they inhabit. They are distant from the soul and incapable of being touched by it. When they move over into this vibration where the soul cannot be reached then they are on the dark path.

Audience: Some people that I have encountered are simply born dark.

JJ: It is possible that they choose the dark path in a past life. Then in this life they would still be on it. Once they get so far along on the dark path then they cannot even incarnate because their vibration is so low.

Audience: Can they incarnate for a while even after there is no turning back?

JJ: Hitler will be probably come back, and I am not looking forward to the day that he does. It is possible and it also possible that his vibration is so low that he can’t come back for some time.

Audience: It could very well be though that this is not our fault, I understand that we have the right to choose and the ability as human beings to make decisions, we can decide to be. Remember that.

JJ: Do you mean it is not the person’s fault if he chooses the dark path?

Audience: This is really complicated, because some people just do not have the ability to make a decision not to be dark.

JJ: Yes they do, everybody has the ability to make soul contact. What you are thinking of is a person in a state of lower evolution that is just selfish and he has to go with the path of least resistance. You are probably thinking of that type of person who does not seem to have much power over where he goes.

Audience: I see these people a lot in life and ignorance is their cue here and they just do not have a clue.

JJ; But, you do not see a dark brother very often. Most people you see still have a thread to their soul but they are just hard to deal with and very selfish, but most of these people will eventually reach a point to where they will turn around.

Now there are a handful of people that do not make the turning point and never walk the path of light. The dark path is chosen after the second imitation when the person has actually achieved a degree of soul contact then he overcomes a certain amount of glamour Then he is eventually faced with a choice, and he sees that choice clearly. He sees the choice between the soul and the self.

The soul keeps trying to bring the wayward entity back until, (energy follows thought) he puts so much attention into his self, which the Tibetan calls the “not self” because it is not really the real in the long run. He then creates a body vibration around him that is not real and his consciousness goes into this body and this body vibration is insulated from the soul. Now it is different than thinking that God is punishing him because He is denying the soul. That is not he way it works. It is the other way around the person puts himself in a situation where he cannot reach out to the soul.

He is in what is called esoterically called the eighth sphere of matter. This is a vibration below even regular matter where he allows himself to be immersed in powerful thought forms that are totally insulated from the soul and thus he has no more soul contact. So what happens to this brother over a long period of time is his personality begins to break down and he is on the path of death because he has no life flow coming into him. All that he has evolved into begins to break down and then he has to wait until a brand new solar system is created billions of years in the future in order to start his evolution all over again. That is why Jesus spoke of some people saying that it would have been better for this guy if he had never been born because it causes him to loose all his progression. It takes a considerable amount of time to commit this, so to speak, unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit where he is denied soul contact. The person is given chance after chance until he gets himself completely insulated from the soul. All are saved from this situation except for a handful that is absolutely determined to follow selfish path. Most of those we see around us that are really annoying eventually will find the path of light and follow it. The dark brother is completely untouched by anything from the soul. He may fake it and try to deceive you and say, yes I am into soul contact and all that but internally his plan is the opposite of what he projects.

The Mystery of the Female

JJ: If we could just understand the female energy we would understand a great mystery. What is interesting is gravity, which is a female energy, was completely a mystery until Newton came along and is still pretty much a mystery but Newton was the first one to really pay attention to gravity and study it. Up until that time many people did not even question what makes us fall. They did not even think to ask that question in those days. It was like the female energy was invisible and they did not even ask any questions about it. But as soon as Newton came along and started asking questions about it in the 1700’s, from then on people have been paying attention and asking questions about the female energy, female rights and starting to understand women and their own power.

The female energy since Newton has been aroused to the possibility that they have within them a lot of potential that has not been released. But unfortunately, like I said, they have been deceived into thinking that the way to release it is through the male approach but at least they have the idea in their minds that they have unlimited potential within them just like men do. Now what they have to understand is that they have to have increased understanding of their power and how it works. It will probably take another 100 to 200 years in this Aquarian age to get this roughly in the consciousness of humanity and when it is achieved, there will be something even better than equality and that is what the equality of male and female will bring about, and that is a lot more creative energy.

This is one thing that DK teaches – is one of the glory’s in the Aquarian age is we will see this tremendous creativity. We will see creativity like we have never imagined before. Much of this will take place because the females will begin to understand where their power comes from.

Audience Dee: You mentioned Margret Thatcher as a woman whose dominant energy was male, I remember when Bill Clinton was elected president and it was the strangest thing that I felt such a masculine feeling from Hillary Clinton, very forceful and I thought, gee is this just me that is getting this vibration? Then later on I heard a story of a physic that would blindfold them selves and was able to tell the difference in the male and female energies by what they were saying. The physic had gotten them all right and he went to Hillary and said this is really strange I am getting a masculine energy from her.

JJ: Yes, that is the interesting thing about Hillary Clinton is that a lot of people don’t like her and they do not know why they don’t like her. Others don’t like her and they know why they do not like her. Much of it is that she is trying to work with the male energy and it goes against the grain of some people.

Dee: She worked as an attorney and I got the feeling that is partly where it came from. She is a smart lady and I got the feeling that she wanted her opinion to matter as much as her husbands did. She knew that this would not be possible so I think she stepped back a bit.

JJ: And you notice that she always wears these pants suits and I heard on the news the other day that Hillary was showing cleavage and they were making a big deal about and when they showed this it was such a small amount of cleavage that I said, “that’s cleavage?” The reason they probably made this a big deal is because Hillary really does not try to use her female energy at all. I think she was thinking that she would let the female side of herself show a little and it really created a stir in the news and the fact that it did create a stir by letting just a thimble full of her female side out. What could she do if she let a lot of it out and concentrate on her female side.

I notice a lot of female politicians are very masculine in their approach and I also notice that a lot of people just do not like them. There is something about them that just rubs people the wrong way. What creates this feeling is the masculine approach that they are taking. But, when the female takes the female approach then the males are not rubbed the wrong way. Females are not rubbed the wrong way as much as the males are. The males can really sense the masculinity coming out in the female and many of the females believe they have to think and act like the male and cheer each other on in being male.

Guys, do not cheer them on because we want the females to be females and it is in our nature to want that. And it is in the nature of the females to want the men to be in the masculine energy as well. It is very interesting how females will really grumble about men being in the masculine energy, but then you give them a really wimpy feminine guy and they will not be attracted to him at all. They would rather go with a guy that has strong male energy that they are grumbling about. The reason they grumble about us is because the energy is different from their own, but they are still attracted to that energy.

For instance, Artie is really neat and clean and I am more disorganized. A lot of us males are more disorganized than the females. That is one thing that the females complain about. There are some males that are organized and it is not necessarily a 100% male trait because we are into scattering and throwing things out and it is much more difficult for us to be tidy and organized and neat like the females. This is one thing that Artie complains about me a lot but still she would not trade me for the guy who has a really neat desk that is a wimp, I do not think she would trade me off for that guy. (Laughter) I guess I better not give her any ideas. (More laughter.)

The interesting thing about relationships, as a whole, is that they are so simple yet so difficult at the same time. Why is it simple? To have a good relationship with anybody you basically follow the golden rule: Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you. There are ways to interpret that in a weird direction so that one can get out of it, but everyone understands that basic principle. I like to receive love and praise and so I give out love and praise to others.

If all of us just obeyed that basic principle with everyone that we had a relationship with and if every country obeyed that basic principle with other countries the world would be a great place. There would hardly be any divorce or a nasty fight going on. That is basically it and it is extremely simple.

Why do we have such a problem with relationships? Anything else that simple we can do very easy on the plane of the mind. If I ask Larry what is 2+2? He will tell me 4. This is very simple right? The golden rule is like 2+2=4 and this is very simple, so why can’t we add it up and always do it? Let me throw this out to the group, why do we have a difficult time in just obeying this one simple principle in all of our relationships?

Audience: I think following a simple rule involves just using the logical part of our brain but in day to day living our emotions get all tangled up in that and that is why it becomes so difficult to follow that golden rule because we let our emotional nature take over and color that.

JJ: Why do you think we do this? Why do we even allow that when it creates so much of a problem? Pass the mike to someone else and let’s hear another answer.

Audience: I remember when I was young and reading the Bible and I thought if I am going to read this then I am going to follow the teachings. I found that it seemed to be that I was the only one that was doing anything good and it got to a point to where I had to modify it a little bit and that is the only thing I can think of.

JJ: Here is a basic problem then, you may obey the golden rule but the other person is not obeying it. Does any one else have a comment?

Audience: JJ you are competing with the chipmunk. Can you hear him?

JJ: Yes, maybe it is a love song he is singing and is trying to attract the attention of his female.

Audience: I think it is a lot to do with application of this principle. You could take it and apply it to some situation like, I am hungry give me food and then you give food to someone who is hungry. You have to have an understanding of the situation and if you run into a situation that you do not understand you have go into it and experience it and then you can apply the principle when you have a feel for it.

JJ: Okay, Susan has something she wants to say.

Audience (Susan): I think it goes back to what John Gray teaches in the book Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. Women are giving to men what women want but men do not want this, and they want something different. So you kind of have to modify the golden rule and you have give unto others as they would desire and not as you would want for your self.

JJ: Yes, you have to take that into consideration. It is funny with gifts for instance; a lot of gifts I receive are gifts that people think I need. I do not really want them but give thanks, and then re-gift it to someone else. In giving a gift you need to find out what the person wants and the hardest part about giving a gift is this: Suppose a person wants a gift that you think they should not really have. Should you give it to them? I would say yes unless it is something really harmful like drugs or something. When I try to give a gift I try to get them what they really want because I think that if I were in the same situation then I would want them to get me what I really wanted.

Audience: I think that it comes down to perception because everybody sees thing from their own point of view so there never is a true leveling of that perception from person to person.

Audience: As I think about why some of the reasons why this principle is so difficult to follow. I think at the very fundamental root of it men and women typically follow the path of least resistance. To do unto another as you would have them do unto you often times requires great effort and energy, So for me to love my wife the way I would want her to love me would require me to do the laundry and to do the dishes, to do everything that is not easy. And for the natural man being selfish, I know what I want for them to do for me, it is much harder to put that effort out there for others.

JJ: Question, you try to obey the golden rule and no one else is doing this back to you. Everybody else is doing to you what they think you deserve to get and they seem to think that you do not deserve very much, what should you do? Should you just say well, this person is not obeying the golden rule so I am going to let them have what they so richly deserve. Should we have this attitude or should we continue to try and live it and what will this accomplish? Who wants to comment on that?

Higher Feelings

When we switch to the higher vibrations on the higher level there are so many layers of spiritual feeling up there and they all can lead us accurately to our next great steps. That is what I was attempting to lead us toward in the meditation. We did lift up to a significant degree. I would like to tell everyone here that there are many degrees above where we went in meditation. If you ascend to the next degree and the next up and be encompassed by the Spiritual Fire, you would feel something that is totally and absolutely astounding. You would essentially become the Burning Bush. It is quite possible that the Burning Bush that Moses saw was in fact himself. That he was burning with the Fire of God Himself when he received his great revelation. Often times the extension of visions are things that are going on within our nature.

Audience: Female member: is this a similar feeling to hot flashes?

JJ: It is several octaves above the hot flashes. What I would like to put before you is the idea that there are realms of vibration and feeling to ascend to that will completely blow your mind when you reach them.

The feeling nature has many different realms that is, possible to ascend to. The first major step is contacting the still small voice. The still small voice does not produce much of a burning because it is so still and so small that you hardly know that it is there. On the first few of times it is contacted you will think that is just your imagination talking because you think if this was God then it would be more pronounced or something like that. It is so elusive, a little bit like the doe in the labors of Hercules, that Hercules pursued and a very hard time before capturing it. The Still Small voice is very elusive at first but eventually we are able to increase the volume so to speak, so that eventually the disciple, the Soul and the Spirit become One and he is able to be in tune with the Oneness principle at all times.

Audience: you may have the soul and the desire but doesn’t it have to become real in your mind before you can progress?

JJ: Yes, you have to accept this as a reality. If a person does not believe he can make these contacts then he generally will not make them. But, I say generally because there acceptations to all things. Like Paul for instance, he was very disbelieving in the church and on the way to Damascus he encountered a great light, which gave him a tremendous revelation. But I think internally he was contemplating his actions thinking, am I doing the right thing confronting these Christians or that probably would not have happened the way it did. Suffice it to say though this caught him by surprise and he was so unprepared for it that it actually blinded him for a period of time.

His vibration was fairly negative because he was persecuting the Christians, yet probably the revelation had something to do with his past lives and all his service as a whole that his soul was able to see that he was ready for this revelation even though he was in a bad place at the time internally. So there are exceptions to all things. But, generally a person has to be open to the possibility that something will happen in order for that something to happen.

Then sometimes you are given more than you expected and things you did not expect. But the great part about all the feelings through the spirit and soul is this: when they come there will be a familiarity about them. Do you notice that with your feelings? How about you Susan? I know you have felt different things, right? Maybe some never felt them before but when you do feel them, they seem familiar.

Susan: Right, like a déjà vu.

JJ: Right now somewhere in your ancient past you have felt that before. No matter where you go in your ascension to the realms of the spirit, even though you may not have felt it in this life it will feel familiar when you get there. A little bit like déjà vu and also not like déjà vu. In the fact that it will feel more familiar than déjà vu. Déjà vu seems like it happened before but I am not sure. When the Spirit touches you then you think, you know I am sure. This is definitely familiar to me and I feel with certainty that I belong to this source and there is a connection between the source of this spiritual energy and myself.

So, I want to encourage everyone to contemplate because the more you contemplate the greater chance you have of going to where you are thinking because energy follows thought and that is a divine principle that always applies. Energy follows thought and as you think about the higher things, the higher things will eventually come to you. The more you think about them the faster they will eventually come.

I think I have told you this story before but one of the reasons I think that I have discovered a lot of the things that I have in spiritual knowledge is that I heard the story of King Solomon when I was around 16 in Sunday school one day and the teacher was describing how God came to Solomon and was told that He would give him anything that he wanted. The teacher was saying that most people would want wealth, love and all these things that normal people want. But what Solomon wanted was wisdom, and I thought to myself, if God came to me and asked me that I would say the same thing. I cannot think of anything more valuable than wisdom.

The interesting thing about Solomon was that when he was given wisdom he also became the richest man on the Earth. He had all kinds of gold and jewels, a fabulous temple, and he was known throughout the world for his tremendous wealth so got wisdom but also everything else the carnal heart could desire as well.

The realms on the male polarity is first the physical world, then the mind and finally the higher self. Then on the female side we have the emotional nature, the intuition and then the higher realms. The feeling nature is associated with female energy the mind is more associated with male energy. Both of these have all kinds of gifts for us, and in their higher natures on both sides there are many wonderful things to discover.

The interesting part about the female side of ourselves is that female is represented by the magnetism that holds the entire universe together. The forces of gravity and magnetism are completely invisible – we cannot see them at work. The male energy in the universe is represented by the radiance of the Sun. We can look at the Sun and see it and see it’s effects and it is much easier to believe on the male side of things. On the female side of things the source is invisible, we cannot see it at work but only the effects.

This is esoterically why females have been ignored so much in our past history because all because of all of the things that females have contributed to humanity has been behind the scenes and invisible, yet the female force in the universe is that which holds everything together. There can be no planet or any physical form with out the female force holding it together. The radiant energy of the male energy spreads energy and the female energy pulls it together. So the males have the advantage of being visible. You go in a room where there are males and females and the males will always being showing off and being more visible and trying to impress the females with their cleverness and things like that. So whenever you are in a room with males and females the males are always more visible and the females are looking back at the males thinking well, try a little bit harder to impress me.

In your dating situation it is amplified even more. You go to a singles bar or something like that and the males are actively going around searching out the females. The physically attractive female with lots of magnetic energy, what does she have to do? She goes to a bar and sits at a table and orders herself a drink and that is all she has to do, just sit there. Her toughest work is getting rid of all the riff raff that she does not want.

Audience female member: I disagree, what a woman does is not just sit there, she is sending out a lot of energy.

Yes, that is true but from the point of view from the male she does not have put much work into this. From her point of view she has put a lot of preparation into this endeavour.

Female member: She is making eye contact and she is using certain body language to invite him in. The signs are very subtle but a man picks up on them.

JJ: Yes, that is true.

Female member: There was a single’s dance that I was at and there was a woman that was 350lbs and there were 10 men around her. The most magnetic female I have ever seen.

JJ: The magnetic energy in a female I find very fascinating, and like Susan says just a very slight glance with a twinkle in her eye can get a guy’s heart beating twice as fast, make him nervous, and start sweating or whatever. It is amazing that power that females have over us males. Women do not realize how much power they have over a guy. Women are deceived into thinking that the men have all the power and that is just entirely not the case. Both men and women are deceived in thinking that the way to get ahead is to be like a man.

So women think that they are going to go into business and run a business like a man and when they do that then they are rejected by everyone including the females but when the woman taps into her energy then she has a power that is fantastic. She has power to motivate the man to do pretty much anything she wants them to do, if she uses her energy. Not too many women really understand how to use the female energy. The physically attractive looking female in the bar that we were talking about is somebody that understands and is using the energy in that spot. Now, unfortunately for her she may go to work the next day and try to use male energy to get ahead and it just does not work like it did back in the bar, because in the bar it is understood that is where we let the women use the female energy. The truth is that she needs to use it more often and more effectively.

Audience female member: Most men, not all, but most do not listen to women. Women on the other hand listen to men. Women watch them, they see them and some women even worship them. Women make the soul contact with men first then the men think about them but men really do not listen to women.

JJ: Sending is a male energy, and this is the reason for this because we are in the male energy and it is easier for us to send out words that are accepted. So what women have to do is be in their female energy and bring out the words from the men. In other words let’s say that she is in a supervisor capacity which kind of a male energy in it self. She has to make the best of it and the way to make the best of it is with the female energy. Instead of bringing a guy over and saying I want to you do A, B, and C, and this is what I want you do. He is not really listening and is thinking I am not going to have some woman tell me what to do.

Instead of that approach, if she says, what do you think we need to do to get this job done? She is using the female energy to draw it out of him and he says well, I think we need to this and that. Now when he points out something that she agrees with then she says, that is a good idea that you came up with. He thinks, she is recognizing my intelligence and that is good, she says why don’t you work on that and we will take a second look tomorrow. He says okay that sounds good. He listened to her because she used her female energy to get him to listen. This is what the female has to and that is to use her female energy to get what she wants.

In this world because the male energy is visible and the female energy is invisible the male energy is about 75% dominant because everyone thinks that is where the power is. But for the females that is not where the power is. Where have you ever seen the female and the male energy working together in one person and being successful? It is very rare, about the only one I can think of is Margret Thatcher and she looked masculine and she was just about a man in a women’s body. I would also suspect that she used her female energy to get things done because she got a lot of cooperation from those around her and that she knew of this principle that we are discussing. Yes Larry.

Larry: being in business myself I have women that were in positions of some authority and I knew a woman when I worked at Tandem who sold $9 million to sprint. She had lots of people who worked for her and I have worked with other women who had programmers and people like this report to them. It seemed to me that the ones who did very well had one thing in common and that is that they were really good listeners and let a lot of people talk so they would listen more than they would talk and when they finally decided what to do then they would pick the person that advocated that and choose them so there was a lot of listening to get people to bring out their ideas. They used that part of their female energy a lot.

JJ: That is a good point Larry. Consider the fertilization of the female egg you have one female egg and how many sperm are competing to impregnate that one egg? Millions right. So the female has a choice of millions of sperm. It is like people say all news is fair and balanced, well not all news is fair and balanced even it is accurate because the newsperson may have dozens of stories to choose from to report on and if he or she is biased then he can pick the one that best fits the biased point of view. And maybe only one of them supports their view and the others do not, so by picking the news items that supports their point of view than they can actually preach their message to the public and get their message out there by just claiming that well, I am just giving the news and I am completely unbiased.

By the power of selection a newsperson can control how many people think about a story by not allowing certain sides of the story to be told and only allowing the side that he or she agrees with and feels good about. The female has this same power, she has that power of selection and it is all exemplified in the selection of the sperm. The male sperm is sent, again the male energy sending and the female receives and she does not receive just anything but is extremely picky how about what she will accept. Have you noticed Larry that women are bit picky about what they choose to receive?

Larry: Silence

JJ: Let’s ask somebody whose wife is not here! Laughter. James how about you, that way we will not get Larry in trouble. James wife is not here although she may listen to this later. Are they a little fussy – what do you think James?

James: Yes

JJ: Yes they are, they are little bit more, fussy about what they wear and what they put on, much more than we men are. This is just the nature of the female energy and it all goes back to nature. They have millions of sperm to choose from and they accept just one. But what is really amazing is how many they have to pick from and the female selects only one. The same thing with us is that there is nothing that stimulates the male more than when the female really listens intently to us. When they listen to us intently we think, this is great and we feel so enlivened when we have a female actually listen to us. This is really a choice, maybe more of a choice that we listen to the female from their point of view. People are not inclined to listen that much but when a female listens to a male we are stimulated and then what do we do? We think, well they really liked it so we give them more and if they continue to listen we think that we are really impressing this girl and I am going to give her even more to listen to.

Now unknown to him, what she is doing is sifting through all the males. She is thinking, this is all just useless chatter but maybe there might be something useful in what he is saying. Once in a while what she will eventually do is maybe one out of a million words that she really accepts and is impregnated with, within her soul. When she gets impregnated with one of the male ideas then all of a sudden she will say, hey, you have to do that.

Audience male member: When women listen to men it is called, give them enough rope to hang themselves. Laughter

JJ: That is what they do. (Laughter) The great example of this if you are in a marriage relationship you may be running all kinds of things by your wife and she’ll be saying, yea, yea, yea. Then you just casually mention that maybe we should go to Hawaii or Paris someday and she will think, yes I will accept that. Then the next day she will say, have you done more thinking about saving up for that trip to Hawaii or Paris? He says, No I do not even remember saying anything about it. (Laughter) She says, Well yes you did we talked about it yesterday. He says, Really, oh, okay well I will think about it. You see she reminds him because he impregnated that idea in her and she accepted. She did not accept going to the Star Trek convention or bowling. A lot of stuff she just ruled out completely but the trip she accepted completely so now once that is accepted by her and stuck in her, you are just going to wind up going to Hawaii or Paris and there will no way around it. (Laughter)

Audience: Laughter female members: When are we leaving? More laughter.

JJ:  Laughter. Oh no Larry look what I did, I got the idea stuck in her already.

Larry: Yes. (Not sounding too happy) Wait that may probably a good idea because isn’t that where that boulevard is where some of the most beautiful women walk around in those little string bikinis.

Female member: That is over the beach side.

JJ: That is the way to get an abortion on that idea Larry – to say oh yea, I want to go to Hawaii, there is lots of beautiful women running around in string bikinis.

Female member: And when he is busy looking then she can go shopping and get what she really wants. Laughter
