A reader asks: “if being a Satan or ‘the tempter’ is a step in the evolution of someone’s eternal path. Not that one is called to be a tempter but if it naturally happens in the course of one’s progression…Is there a Satan role during our eternal paths?
JJ
This is an interesting question. In other words, are all of us destined to be a devil before we become one with God?
The answer is yes and no. As we make the long journey to the feet of God we all go through periods of great selfishness and do some pretty devilish things and cause a lot of hurt along the way. We also become tempters and lead many astray with us. Does this mean that we all eventually spend an eon as a dark brother at some time or another?
No. Most of us learn our lesson as karma forces us to see the results of our bad behavior. Only a handful proceed onward on the dark path despite all the warnings and attempts by the soul to turn the entity around.
The teaching seems to be presented by all the prophets, scriptures and masters that when we reach a certain degree of progression that we will be “saved” or dwell in the light forever onward. But then we read of how Lucifer, a son of he Morning, rebels against God and was thrown out of heaven and apparently became Satan.
Now this being was of a celestial nature and a son of God as we hope to become, yet he fell. Does this mean that after all our efforts of finally achieving liberation that we could still blow it and become a Satan? That doesn’t seem to quite jive with the promises of eternal life as most understand them.
This is an area tat has never been cleared up by any teacher that I know of. Here are several points that should help.
After liberation we do not lose our free agency. We still have power to choose and the choice always leads to higher and lower paths. The difference between humanity and those in the kingdom of God is the Higher Lives have learned certain lessons and know better than to revert to known errors. For instance, the hiker who gets exposed to poison ivy will avoid it in the future.
Those who have gained entrance to the Council Chambers of the Most High have learned certain lessons and there are many errors that they will not repeat. Even so, on a higher level of thinking where new concepts are being considered there will not always be agreement. Therefore, even a liberated soul, such as a Son of the Morning can disagree and present his own ideas that may not be in harmony with his master.
When a liberated soul falls out of alignment with his brothers he does not descend to the lowest realms of darkness but continues to move forward the plan as he understands it. The Dark Brotherhood evolved from beings on this earth and not from the Council Chambers of the Most High. A fallen archangel may use the forces of darkness but in his mind he is still moving the work of God forward.
Good and evil as it plays out with liberated beings is a much different thing than good and evil as humanity sees it as it pertains to them.
We never arrive at a point where we will be totally free from mistakes for all eternity. We learn by making mistakes and this principle even applies to Christ, the Planetary Logos and on up.
Here’s another question from QuasarAZx
I am an amateur astronomer and was wondering if the JJ could explain what dark matter is which is a theory about missing matter in galaxies. Dark matter is thought to make up the missing matter.
JJ
Nathan showed some good thinking in indicating that dark matter and regular matter represent male and female polarities.
Scientists believe that there is dark matter because there are gravitational pulls in the universe that cannot be explained by the gravity of regular matter. Even though they cannot find this elusive matter they believe that 80% of the matter in the universe is this dark, or unseen matter.
Does such matter really exist? Yes, but it is not dark, but very light compared to our own. There is much matter in the universe that science has not discovered and this is clearly taught by the Ancient Wisdom. First we have the matter of the etheric plane. Next up we have astral matter and then mental matter. Above this we have undifferentiated matter. All this matter and life from unseen worlds has an effect on life, form and matter in this plane.
Science will find dark matter when they discover that there are co-existing dimensions that interplay with us and effect us.

As for his knowledge of Astronomy, JJ aspired to be an astronaut as a teenager and he devoured everything known about astronomy. So when JJ looks into astronomy events, he starts with a solid foundation.
Tom
I did not know that JJ wanted to be an astronaut. I was wondering where he knew so much Astronomy. I am an amateur Astronomer who took astronomy classes in college.
Wow, one can sure learn a whole lot from books. I loved astronomy so much that I
read books on Einstein. He explained how stars can keep burning for
billions of years, nearly corrected mercury’s orbit around the sun, explained
gravity and the bending of space by a massive object..JJ has solved the
mystery of dark matter or I hoped that he has so that why I am posting this here because I have already posted my 3 post limit on the keysters and this post by JJ is on dark matter..
He already made more discoveries then Einstein. Where is his fame?
BTW
Since we are on the topic of space…read what happened to my artwork.
My face and 2 artworks were taken on board the shuttle’s last mission ( Discovery
STS-133) into space today Feb.24th 2011. I drew some digital art on my
pic/face which was part of the “Your face in space” program. Most did not draw
on their pics…so my art is one of the few to get into space. As far as I
know I may be the only one who drew on my pics to get my artwork in space.
My art got into space. I am happy 🙂 Thanks NASA!!!!! I got a certificate
that I framed.

What is the definition of a “liberated soul”?
It was my understanding that when we evolved to a certain degree, our ego blended with the soul and then the Monad. Lucifer still had an ego, then the ego still progresses on higher turn of the spiral?
Sharon
My understanding is that as long as we are individuals that we will have an ego. This mean until we merge with the One-consciousness when the Universe is rolled back up. We never lose the individuated ego which we learn to control and manipulate for the greater purpose and good.
Thanks for the reply, it is most interesting. Sharon
This whole idea of “dark matter” gets confused by that name. Scientists mean to connote matter which they cannot see. However, it sounds like matter that is evil and full of darkness rather than light. I believe the substance of our universe can only be seen by us in its most outward physical parts. Physical instruments only respond to physical things. I also believe when we create astral instruments (I speak here of our outward scientific instruments and not of our inward “instruments”) they will see both physical and astral. And mind level instruments will see physical and astral and mental. I believe this continues on up through all levels. JS articulated a doctrine in the D&C which basically says you can see/visit across and down but you cannot see/visit up. Thus we see a universe with dark matter which remains dark to all those not up to its level yet – on each successive level. Since our physical experience only takes in one level of many, most of the matter in our universe is “dark” to us. I believe DK said, for example, our system has 47 planets which include many beyond our current scope of sight. I believe scientists are very clever to surmise these others and theorize “dark” matter to account for it. Knowing what I know from my spiritual perspective it seems obvious the universe has far more matter than we can see physically. Great job, science, for getting a clue.
More amazing to me than those levels above physical is the concept of the next universe which will plow new ground creating another level BELOW physical! We will live through EIGHT levels. Then we will progress through to 12 LEVELS eventually. I have wondered if those new levels will come AFTER physical or if it will all just go from physical to the most high like an accordion with a greater number of more refined folds on the bellows. I am certain that those men and women who work through 12 Chakras and 12 of everything else will be far more subtle, sophisticated, and refined – they will be Gods compared to us. Our existence, to them, will seem like cartoons.

Tom: So all of those make up dark matter? Are you saying there are different types of dark matter?
Thanks.
Tom (FreeTheSouls)
I wonder if any major Astronomy magazines will publish this on dark matter lol …..and give you credit, JJ?
LOL 🙂

So if Lucifer of Isaiah 14 was not actually high enough to be in the “Council Chambers of the Most High,” then how highly evolved was he? As high as Jesus? As high as the Christ? Higher? Lower?
“A fallen archangel may use the forces of darkness but in his mind he is still moving the work of God forward.”
Which God does he think he is serving then? You have also portrayed these as being supremely selfish and inner directed. How does that not contradict thinking one is serving God?
lwk
The ‘act’ of rebellion’ is inanely a selfish act. How closely the direction is in alignment with God’s Plan determines degree of positive and/or negative evolution. The Lucifer of Isaiah defied his predetermined directive and chose to live outside the established Hierarchy. He works with forces of materialism where he sees results but misunderstands that the results are temporal. His powerful ego keeps him in delusion as he accrues negative karma.
I believe the Lucifer in Isaiah 14 was the same who fell within the Council Chambers. He thought he knew better than the Presiding One and was blamed by the prophet for various destructions on the earth. Even though his actions caused conflict he still sees himself as furthering the work of the One Great God who is greater than any single entity worshiped as God. The full story has not been told on this and hope it will be revealed soon.
I think I’ve gotten confused somewhere. So this Lucifer did not rebel against the One Great God but instead bucked the Presiding One of the Council. Who was the Presiding One and what was it that Lucifer thought he knew better ABOUT exactly?
“When a liberated soul falls out of alignment with his brothers he does not descend to the lowest realms of darkness but continues to move forward the plan as he understands it.” JJ
So even though a higher evolved soul can “fall” from Heaven, or that higher state of consciousness, then this means that this entity moves the plan ahead as he best consciously remembers it from that higher evolved consciousness, but the twist is that the higher beings who have not fallen, continue on in their realm unfolding even higher states of consciousness and move the plan more forwards, whereas the fallen one is more limited to the state of consciousness at the time in which he fell to a lower state of being.
