Other Differences in Light and Dark

Okay any other difference between light and dark?

Audience: Free will.

JJ: Yes, freedom, this is one of the big dividing ones. It is said that the war in Heaven where it talks about the war between Satan and God was fought over the principle of freedom. The side of Christ wanted to give free will to mankind and Satan wanted to keep it from mankind and control everybody because they would not be responsible and they could make a lot of mistakes with their own free will. His argument was that we will take away their free will and “I will assume command and I will make sure that none of the souls are lost or go down the wrong path and I will get all the glory.”

It is said that Christ said the opposite, He said we will give man free will and yes they will make mistakes but they will recover and they will learn on their own and I will be their teacher and give the glory to God and not take it upon myself.

The Father, or presiding One replied, “I will take the plan of The One who is to became Jesus, The Christ.” And so the legend has it that the struggle between having freedom and taking away freedom continues on the earth today and whether or not the legend is true is beside the point because what is true is that that struggle does exist right before our eyes today and yet, unfortunately, again every politician and every ruler in authority thinks that he or she is working for our freedom.

Now lets look at the most notorious guy in history. Do you think Hitler was fighting for freedom? He said this all the time, “I am fighting for the freedom of Germany, for your freedom and mine. He would say this regularly, but was he? No he was fighting so he could have control and tell the people what to do. In his warped mind he thought that once he got completely in charge of the world that he would lay out the rules and people would actually have more freedom. Actually, the only ones with more freedom would be the Nazi leaders.

The Brotherhood of Light teaches the principle of freedom and teaches it correctly. Such a teacher just does not say that I am going to give you freedom. The truth is that you cannot really give freedom to anybody. What the Brotherhood of Light does is they say I am not going to take your freedom away. The dark brother says I am going to change things and if you read between the lines you will find that he is going to take your freedom away and then in the next sentence he will say this is going to give you greater freedom. But this is a deception, what he does, he tells you it will give you greater freedom but it does not.

It is like what the politicians do with our taxes. They say, we are going to increase this tax here that is going to give you less freedom and less money to spend, less power over your own destiny, but we are going to give this benefit and the people that get this benefit will have a lot more freedom. The people that get the benefit are usually around 1% of the population of the country and the people that are going to get taxed are a 100% of the taxpayers of the country. So the amount of freedom taken away is much more than the freedom given.

The Light Brother will say that he is not going to take additional freedom away but “I am going to work to increase your freedom without taking anything away.” Freedom is a key word here because it is a key dividing point between the light and the dark. One thinks we need a good strong powerful central authority that is more intelligent than everybody else and can tell everyone what to do and set them in line, forcing them to do what is right. The side of Light trusts in the intelligence of the average person and wants to give them more control over their own destiny.

JJ: Okay what is the next difference between the Light and the dark.

Audience: Good and evil, the dark brothers want to take things back to a time where they have complete control and the Light Brothers want to move the human race forward.

JJ: Good! The Brotherhood of Light moves us forward in our progression. Again lets go back to Hitler, what did he want to do? Did he want to establish democracy on the earth? No, what did he want to establish?

Audience: The Empire.

JJ: The old Reich and the kingdom type government, the empire where you had a supreme commander telling everyone what to do and they had to do it or they would die. That is what he was working toward and that was going back in the past as far as government is concerned. He was also going back in the past with race. He was going for racial purity and was going to eliminate anyone who did not fit into his idea of a pure race. DK explains that this was also going back in the past that in the far distant past that this was what humanity actually tried to do. As a matter of fact if you even go back to the Old Testament you will read that they tried to keep all the races pure back then. So DK says that this time has past that Hitler was trying to return to the racial purity teachings of the past. The Light Brothers move forward.
What is another difference between the Light and the dark?

No answer.

I will give you one more that that is important, the Light Brothers are inclusive. On the other hand, Hitler was exclusive, he wanted to exclude the Jews, to eliminate them so we could cleanse the planet and have a fresh start, To the Brotherhood of Light, Jews are our brothers just like everybody else and we must treat them as equals. Blacks do not deserve to be slaves and, in other words, Abraham Lincoln represented inclusiveness because he worked towards the freedom of the slaves and uniting a nation. They include as many people as possible in whatever goal as part of the work of Light.

Okay anything else? I will tell you one thing, a trick that the dark brothers try and I will present their side. They work with labels and sound bites, and, in other words, they label people. This person is a hater and needs to be put down and silenced, they say. They will use labels and instead of saying, we disagree with this person and lay down a logical argument of why he is wrong. This is what the Brotherhood of Light does – they use Light to correct the person if he is wrong, where if the dark brothers disagree with someone they will attach a label to him – he is a sinner, he is a reprobate, he is a republican, democrat, liberal, conservative or whatever.

They will use whatever label sounds bad. They will apply the label to them, like hater, stupid, uneducated. The New York Times used to call Abraham Lincoln an ape all the time. Bigot is currently used a lot, and racist is a big one. I see so many people called racist today that don’t show any evidence of being racist at all. I find this very irritating but these are labels that they use and circulate them and if it gets circulated enough many believe them.

Hitler used to use this method of attack; he would label the Jews as being part of a conspiracy as an excuse to take over all the wealth and also label them as an inferior race. I do not remember all the labels but he had a number of them that he applied to the Jews and he operated on the idea that if you stick a lie on somebody long enough then the general public would soon accept it as the truth.

When Hitler became chancellor of Germany only a handful of people hated the Jews, not too many at all, but because he labeled them like this and no one really countered his argument then pretty soon the majority in Germany began to be affected by that label and began to feel good about persecuting the Jews.

Audience: Labels can also be used to put a positive label on something to further the agenda.

JJ: That is a good point also can you think of an example?

Audience: Like the whole green movement for instance.

Honesty

JJ: What is light and what does light do?

Audience: Reveals

JJ: Reveals, okay, light reveals truth and what is. Light reveals things as they really are and dark conceals. If you look at politicians, a politician that is influenced by the light will tell things as they really are, “Look I am really going to increase your taxes.” When is the last time we heard that? Never?

The politician who sides with the dark will say, no I am not going to increase your taxes and then within a month after getting elected, he supports increasing our taxes. What the politician did was conceal what he was really going to do from us and perhaps even from himself. He may have believed his own words.

“To thine own self be true and as the light falls the day thou can not be false to any man.” This is one of the greatest statements ever made. We have to be true to our self and I think many of these politicians actually believe what they are saying and then when they get in office and after about a month they join the good ole boys club and they are told that if they want to get along then you have to play ball and vote as they are told to vote and vote with the group. Forget about this individual stuff it does not work in Washington.

So the majority of the politicians are unable to reveal in the light and tell you what they will do. If you find somebody that does we will keep him or her, unless they have a screw that is too loose on what makes sense. Keep them for their honesty if at all possible.

So the light reveals what is and the Brotherhood of Light stresses the principle of honesty. This is one of the principles of liberation – to be honest. Now I have known people who believe this to the wrong extreme. I have known this person that if she sees someone that is fat she will say you are fat, I said why did you word it that way? Well she would say I was just being honest. I replied, you are honest but you are also cruel. You have to blend the virtues together not isolate them and take them to the extreme. So how could she have been totally honest about the gal being fat? For one she just could not have said anything. You know if your wife comes to and says honey, are my thighs too heavy? You are going to sleep on the couch no matter what you say!

Audience: Laughter!

JJ: The thing is to be honest and you could say, honey, you look better to me than the day we were married. You can say it and if you really believe that then you are honest and you are not saying anything negative. You probably are still going to sleep on the couch though because then she will say, you are avoiding the question – why are you avoiding the question? Answer me.

Women are so very mysterious to us guys. They are one of the last mysteries for us guys to unfold, the mind of the female.

So anyway the key is, “as honest as possible because you are in the light” you will notice that when you read the New Testament in the words of Jesus, He was starkly honest and he was usually polite and kind except when someone richly deserved to be told off. Then He was not beyond letting them have it. You remember in the temple where He made the whip and chased everybody out and turned over the tables because they were turning the house of God into a house of merchandise, which infuriated Him.

Audience: So could you think about it in terms of that you want to be honest and you are also practice harmlessness?

JJ: That is a good point because with the wrong wording of your honesty you can actually create harm for somebody. I remember Curtis wrote this paper and he was really enthused about it, I had done a lot of writing and I took a look at it and I pointed out some positive things and I was honest and it made him feel pretty good about and then Wayne comes in and Curtis says what you think Wayne? Wayne takes a look and says, man, this needs a lot of correction, give me your red pen.

He said his English is awful and he spent about a half hour on one paragraph until the paper was dripping with red ink. Curtis says, give me that back I do not want anymore feedback from you! And you could tell poor Curtis’ jaw just dropped as Wayne was making these corrections. When I commented I was nice as I could be and fed his ego a little bit but old Wayne, he just was not thinking of Curtis’s ego at all. You could just feel ole Curtis sink as Wayne was going through this paper with that red pen. It was kind of funny from my angle but Curtis did not think it was funny! Wayne was having a good time destroying Curtis’s ego.

This illustrates that you have to be careful, Wayne and I were both honest but Wayne was just not thinking of Curtis’s feelings at all. Wayne is a really nice guy, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to correcting English, I am real hesitant to give him anything to look at. Now I just say, Wayne read this quickly and tell me what you think, don’t worry about correcting it. If he starts to correct it then he never gets through more than about three pages because he finds so many things to correct.

Wayne and I were both honest to Curtis but we chose different words to portray that honesty. I realized that was his first major attempt to write anything and being a writer myself I understand how important it is to have support and constructive criticism. I remember when I first started writing I was very fragile and positive feedback was much more important then than it is now. Now if I write something and someone has a negative opinion towards it then I just take it with a grain of salt.

So I figured Curtis would be more fragile at this early stage of his endeavor also and Wayne proved me right. So one of the keys to white magic is total honesty, honesty with graciousness, kindness and sometimes you may want to leave something out and leaving something out is not being dishonest. Leaving something out can support deception but if dome with judgment one can be totally honest with what is revealed.

Even in the Book of Proverbs it says, “It is the glory of God to conceal things.” In other words God, the Masters and the Higher Lives conceal a lot of things from us because as DK tells us, He says many times that I could tell you certain things but it could prove dangerous so I am not going to tell you right now. He says it will be revealed to those who are ready. Why does he not tell us? There are certain mantras the he says and words of power that He could give us but if they were used incorrectly they could cause insanity or death so I am not going to tell you how certain things work here because if a person is not ready then they could be misused.

So concealing a thing is not dishonest, especially if you admit you are concealing something. Now if a person is asked if he is concealing something and he says no, then that is dishonest. So to conceal a thing is not dishonest and is even supported by the Bible itself, but to state something that is just black and white not true is being dishonest. If I have a dollar in my hand and I tell you it is five dollars then that is an absolute black and white untruth. That is definitely something that we must avoid.

Something else that is not dishonest is telling a joke and I have told quite a number of jokes in my life and the basis of the jokes is always something that is not true but often times the principle of the joke is true. They say that only the truth is funny so jokes often illustrate some point of truth but a joke always has things that are untrue to really stretch the reality to make it funny and of course most people would not consider a joke to be dishonest because once a person gets the joke and then they realize what it is and it was just a joke.

What is funny though is when you tell a joke and people do not get it and they think you are being serious. I went into Kinko’s one time and I took out brand new twenty dollar bill I had just got it from the bank and it was really fresh looking and crisp. It looked like it had just been printed, I had a couple dollars worth of copies and I handed it to the gal and said, it looks pretty good doesn’t it, I printed it up on one of your machines!

Audience: Laughter

JJ: She looks at it wondering if I had really done this and I saw she was worried I was a lawbreaker and said, I was just joking. She was just so nervous and she kept looking at it and she really believed I printed it up and she just did not get the joke.

Audience: On the same lines we often take cash when we are doing one of the shows, so will take five dollars at a time in cash for people who admission charge of five dollars, so at the bank she asked me how I got all this money and I said drugs, and as it turns out you have to report that. Good thing it all turned out well because I am sitting here.

Audience: Laughter

JJ: That is interesting. So light and dark the names of the two brotherhoods and reveals a lot about how they are different. The dark brothers conceal or deceive about everything and they portray themselves differently than they are. If one is a politician, for instance, he will present himself as the benevolent caretaker of humanity type thing that is going to do all kinds of good things for everybody. There may be blatant lies and deceptions and he or she may know they are deceptions but he says them anyway because the truth does not matter to them.

Now very few politicians are actually members of the dark brothers but the dark brothers do use certain people, especially if they have positions of power – they are much more likely to be used by the brotherhood than somebody like the average John Doe who has no position of power.

For instance, those who come to me and say, yea my ex-wife was in with the dark brotherhood. Well did your ex-wife have any power or influence? No she was a housewife. Well then what use would the dark brothers have for her unless she was committed to the dark path, and if she was committed to the dark path she would be doing more than just being a housewife.

So that is one thing to look for, the agents of the dark brotherhood will be people with influence and power. No one is put to use more in this particular age than the politicians. They also make use of heads of religions, heads of state, education groups, finance and banking. These people that are in positions of power are in a big struggle between the two brotherhoods. Very few of them are actually members of the dark brotherhood for to be a member of the dark brotherhood, you have to actually make a certain degree of progress, you have to reach the point to where you are approaching the third initiation. You have to reach the point to where you have mastery over the physical and emotional to a fairly high degree before you can see the choice.

Now you can be used before this point, but you have to reach a fairly high degree before you can actually make the choice because you cannot join either one of the two brotherhoods consciously until you have the two paths open up before you and see clearly what the two paths are and you make a conscious definite choice. So unless the person you know has made the definite choice, he or she is not a dark brother. However, as DK also says all of humanity are under control of the antichrist forces and almost all of humanity are used to a degree by the dark brothers because they have people in positions of power and they influence and the average person to a high degree. The average person is much more influenced by emotion and selfishness than they are with group consciousness and altruism and group service. Not too many people are into the higher virtues and average humanity, almost everybody, is influenced by individual selfishness.

If a politician gets up and the first thing he or she says is, “Here is what I am going to do for you.” And whatever that may be whether it is lots of benefits and entitlements, or rebates or tax cuts or to pay you for education and you get a piece of the government nest egg and so on. You can be sure that you must be very wary of that kind of talk about what they are going to do for you. Now the worker in the light, of course, serves us but He is not going to serve just by having the government give stuff to us. He is going to help to increase our state of freedom. The worker on the side of light increases freedom and the worker on the dark side will say that they are going to give stuff to you and they are going to put benefits on every plate of some kind, but the price will be a decrease in freedom.

Seeing by Darkness

Here is an interesting logical challenge for those who wish to argue that there is no such thing as darkness, dark entities or a dark brotherhood.

According to this belief there is no darkness anywhere so of course there are no dark individuals or brotherhoods anywhere.

BUT… what I have presented is not using such not-found-in-the-dictionary definition of terms. When I write I use the common definition of words as understood by the masses unless stated otherwise.

I use light and dark in reference to people’s minds in the same way that Jesus did in this verse:

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matt 6:22-23

“Single” comes from the Greek HAPLOÛS which indicates unity, focus and wholeness. Its corresponding noun is HAPLOTĒS and the adverb form is HAPLŌS. These words often imply a generous spirit.

Some scholars equate it with ancient Jewish sources speaking of the “good eye” which was an idiom for a generous spirit. For instance in Proverbs 22:9 we read:

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

“Bountiful” comes from the Hebrew TOWB which can be translated as good, generous and joyful among others. It definitely implies a positive and generous attitude.

“Single” here is also commonly interpreted to mean “single to the glory of God,” or “single to that which is good.” The expanded meaning would imply a focus on giving of oneself in service. This is obviously the direction intended as the opposite direction mentioned is “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness.”

“Evil” here is translated from the Greek PONĒRÓS. Strong’s gives the core meaning as being “hurtful.” Thayers describes the meaning as “Full of annoyances, hardships, pressed and harassed by labors … Bringing toils, annoyances, perils.”

The Septuagint usage implies a grudging person lacking of generosity.

So, Jesus was saying that if our eye or focus is on selfishness, bringing others hardship, apparently for one’s own benefit (evil) we will be full of darkness, but if we do the opposite and have a single purpose of helping others and bringing glory to God and not the self then we will be full of light.

Jesus makes an interesting statement about darkness. He says, “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness.”

Ponder on this for a moment for it presents an interesting thought.

What does he mean here? How can light be darkness? Isn’t light just light and dark just dark? How can a light within you be darkness?

The answer is quite simple though I haven’t seen it presented before.

Light is the means by which we see and discern what is real and true. If our eye be single and focused on the good and seek to help others then we take in and use real light from God and see reality as it truly is.

On the other hand, if the eye is turned, not outward, but inward toward self, the true light enters not and in place of light that reveals truth the poor soul is filled with great darkness, according to Jesus.

But here is the interesting thing. The light that is within him is darkness. In other words, the guy dwelling in darkness, doesn’t see himself as being in darkness because darkness is the light by which he sees. To him, darkness is light.

So how could darkness be light? Isn’t it impossible to see anything in darkness?

The key to understanding this is that the light Jesus is referring to is not sunlight, but he inner light that reveals truth. One who is truly focused on the good the beautiful and the true will see by the true inner light. One who is focused on the desires of the lower self will see by other means, and that other means is called by Jesus, darkness.

He who is consumed by great inner darkness will have to use the outer lights of the physical and emotional worlds for vision. Using these alone is spiritual darkness compared to the disciple who sees by the inner light above the outer.

The problem for the one in darkness who may be a surface student of the inner is that he can see himself as guided by an inner light as it seems that he looks within to find the astral/emotional light.

The problem is that this astral light is even more deceptive than the physical and turns everything upside down so what is seen is either through a fog or reversed from true reality.

It is interesting that we find people, highly intelligent in nature, who rely on the true light as well as the darkness. This is why we see about us many intelligent people taking different sides of an issue, which, to the one with the inner light is a no-brainer to see it for what it is.

Attempting to see with physical eyes only through the filter of the emotional self is truly seeing in darkness or the attempt to use darkness as a light. The inner light is so powerful that by comparison all lights in the physical and astral are darkness.

The gospels speak of light and darkness a number of other times. Here was a description of the mission of John the Baptist:

To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:79

Here is Jesus in his own words describing this duality:

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. Luke 22:53

Here is a description of the effect of the mission of Jesus using the duality of light and dark.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John 3:19-21

This scripture gives an interesting demarcation between those in the light and the dark. Those who love darkness hate the light. Those in the light do not hate and would leave those in darkness to their own devises if those in the dark did not hate them and attempt to frustrate the works of light.

And why do those in darkness hate the light that exposes the truth? Because, as the scripture plainly says, the light exposes their deeds. Actually it does more than that. Light, which reveals truth exposes the intent, the plans and the unfolding of the works of darkness. Because those who attempt to hide their intent in darkness do not want them exposed they hate any light which does just this.

We see this principle played out in the actions of many sneaky politicians who attempt to put things over on us. They will write up a bill that they know the majority will oppose and then do everything in their power to prevent the public, as well as other representatives, from finding out controversial details within it.

Anyone who tries to shed some light and expose what is in it will be hated and attacked.

Meanwhile, the guy who is in the light doesn’t mind anything that is true being revealed.

Another thing they do it take a bill with a pleasant sounding name, like “The Education Bill” and place some controversial rider in it that has nothing to do with education. Maybe it is money that will go to potential terrorists who may immigrate here and could become a big problem later on. Whatever the case, these riders are often pieces of legislation or spending that the vast majority would not support.

So what happens when some honest politician tries to throw some light on the subject? He is hated and attacked as being anti-education, even though the problem has nothing to do with education. The politician in the light doesn’t care how much light is thrown upon any of the works of Congress because he wants the people to be exposed to the truth so they will know what is going on.

It is true to form then that the honest politicians (few though they may be) are often the most hated, and attacked. Their message is also the most distorted by their enemies.

Conclusion: The gospels, and Jesus in particular, divided the people into those who are in the light and those who are in darkness. We see this also played out in our day, the political world being just one example.

So, are there organizations representing the two sides of light and dark?

If the scriptures have any value at all the answer would have to be yes.

First, let us see what they say about organizations in the spiritual light, which, of course, would be the side representing God and Christ.

Paul spoke of the spiritual organization representing the light:

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. Eph 3:10

Here we have mention of “principalities and powers in heavenly places.”

He also says that God

…set him (Christ) at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Eph 1:20-21

So here we have mention of principalities, powers and dominions not only in this world, but the one to come.

It indeed sounds like there is a lot to govern in the pertinacities of light:

Concerning the Ancient of Days it is written:

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: Dan 7:10

Then we have this in reference to the Archangel Michael:

Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me… Dan 10:13

The fact that he was a chief price or ruler indicates a position in a hierarchy.

The scriptures do not give the full organization, or the number of different ones in the light, but a few details are given.

We are told that Christ or God is the “Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” Rev 17:14

Lords and kings are governors over organizations and Christ is the head guy over them.

The Book of Revelations gives a representation of God (or the one that represents God for us) as being in charge and before him are 24 ancient ones as well as seven great spirits. There are also seven great angels and many saints. In addition there is “an innumerable company of angels.” Heb 12:22

Obviously there is a hierarchy and principalities of light involved in maintaining order in this “world to come.”

Now let us look at the other side. Jesus talked of those who represented “the power of darkness.” Do they have any organization?

The scriptures give us a definite yes. Again, here is Paul’s famous words on the matter:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6:12

So here it is clearly revealed that there are “rulers of darkness” in this world as well as “high places.”

“High places” is translated from the Greek EPOURANIOS which means “heavenly or celestial places.” In other words, there are dark hierarchies existing beyond this physical realm.

Then we have this:

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Eph 1:23

Most likely “air” here signified an other worldly place as seen as being above the earth. It is interesting coincidence to consider that dark minds may control many of our AIR waves though which so much of the media is broadcast.

Here Paul tells disciples that before they walked in the light of Christ they were under the control of the adversarial dark prince.

Perhaps another reason he was called the prince of the air is it seemed as if he could broadcast his thoughts through the air which could be picked up by those who were susceptible.

This head prince was identified in the scriptures as either the devil or Satan, both titles signifying in the Greek an adversary or an accuser. Unfortunately such a being has been the victim of such caricatures with horns and a tail so a belief in such an entity is compared to a belief in Bigfoot or the Big Bad Wolf.

Many also say that any such dark entities are just a product of one’s imagination or a thoughtform.

While it is true that the door to evil or darkness is open by the individual’s our own mind, the scriptures are definite that such beings exist just as undesirable characters exist as neighbors and associates that we may inadvertently let into our lives.

In reference to such a being functioning with a darkened mind here are words from Jesus himself:

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die. John 12:31-33

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. John 14:30

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. John 16:7-11

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:18-19

Finally we have an unusual reference in the book of Jude to this being:

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. Jude 1:9

Here is what we have concluded as definite truths testified to by the scriptures as well as the words of Jesus.

(1) There are those who dwell in the light and those who dwell in spiritual darkness.

(2) Christ, God, Michael and other benevolent beings are a part of a hierarchy on the side that dwells in the spiritual light.

(3) There is a hierarchy of spiritual darkness opposing the hierarchy of light.

(4) There are “rulers of darkness” in this world and in the unseen world. Jesus called one such being the “prince of this world” or Satan. He was also called the “devil”, which means “accuser” and the “prince of the power of the air.”

Of course, one can maintain that any part of the scriptures one does not want to accept is just allegorical and interpret them according to one’s imagination, but if they have any truth at all as written, there does definitely exist beings dwelling in the light and darkness in this world and the next.

Summary

Even if the scriptures are totally rejected the following is true:

(1) There are individuals and groups on this planet who have designs to do good unselfish works to benefit humankind and bring greater freedom.

(2) There are individuals and groups who have designs that are evil, destructive, misled and will enslave others to further their own selfish or illusionary purposes.

(3) These two group exist among those of all grades of intelligence as intelligence is assessed by orthodoxy.

(4) There is a high probability that there are groups of high intelligence, unknown to the masses, on both sides of the equation.

This would support the idea of a Brotherhood of Light and Dark as both have representatives in physical bodies in this world. All it takes to accept the possibility of their existence is the acceptance of point four.

On the other hand, if we accept the teaching of the scriptures that light and dark extends beyond the physical to a light from God that enlightens the mind we can add the following points.

(5) The spiritual light mentioned by Jesus and the prophets reveals truth and he who rejects this light is in darkness where truth is obscured, distorted or hidden. This creates a spiritual demarcation between light and dark.

(6) There are physical and non physical realms wherein intelligent life dwells. If intelligence is divided between light and dark here then it is logical that such a division would continue in some form in at least part the non physical realms.

To those who outright reject the probability of a dark and light brotherhood let me ask this question.

At what point does the demarcation between light and dark cease?

Anyone who watches the news any evening can see that the demarcation exists. There are stories of organizations that are attempting to do good things and others who are attempting to do destructive things. For instance, I just heard the report that Iran wants to destroy Israel off the face of the earth and then hunt down the remaining Jews and gleefully put them to death. I’d say that attitude is a rejection of the light and love from God.

Again, where does this demarcation end? Does it end when a person becomes a master to some and obtains more power over the elements than the ordinary person? Does this demarcation just instantly cease when a certain degree of intelligence is reached? If so where is that degree at?

The Law of Correspondences tells us that as above, so below and as below so is above to a high degree so if there is an obvious demarcation in this world then why would one not exist in some places in the non physical worlds?

Now in the world of souls the light is in much more abundance than here, but there are many invisible realms in the universe and whether high or low some have more light and truth than others.

Unfortunately, there are a few who completely reject the spiritual light and love of God. Shutting off the source of light indeed creates a world of spiritual darkness. Let us hope none of us visits that state of consciousness.

CHAPTER TWO
Light, Love and Purpose

When the projection of the One Life that produces Love and Light vibrates again, we have four additional rays of energy created, making a total of seven Ray energies. The three are recreated in a lower octave plus four additional making the seven and are represented in the Bible as the “Seven Spirits before the throne of God.”

In this treatise, we are mainly concerned with the three primary energies of Purpose, Love and Light, and will not deal at present with Rays 4, 5, 6, and 7.

We shall pay particular attention to Light and Love, for they are the root cause of the great illusion that separates, or appears to separate, man from God. Both Light and Love have beginning and ending points and all things with a beginning and an end are illusion. However, they are from an eternal source; thus, they manifest periodically for all eternity, but such manifestation always has a beginning and an end, and is therefore illusionary. Illusion, or the dream state of God, is thus a cyclic occurrence, just as we human beings sleep and dream every twenty-four hours. Our dreams may bring pleasure, pain, and experience, and they seem very real while we are dreaming, but when we are awakened, we know that it was an illusion. The significant point is that our consciousness participated in the illusion and this made the experience seem real.

Light and Love create the dreams of God and the power of the One Life is projected into the dreams through Purpose. Thus, God is in all things and through all things and is an active participant in all things so long as the illusion of Duality exists.

The energy of Purpose is not an illusion, for it has no form, and has no beginning and no end. Purpose is the only energy which is eternal because it is the One Energy. Only Oneness can be eternal. Anything that appears to be more than one is part of the great illusion and will have a cyclic end or rest. The end will always result in unification with the One Purpose, projected from the One Life.

The wavelength produced by the energy of the Trinity produces everything there is from the tiniest atom, with it’s electrons circling the nucleus of protons and neutrons, to the largest galaxy of billions of star systems. There is no such thing as solid matter. As the scientist divides and divides and goes smaller and smaller, he will find nothing but wavelengths. The electrons and protons and quarks that create the atom of substance vibrate and produce wavelengths, and are in turn created by wavelengths.

The wavelength is divided into an infinite number of waves and these waves permeate everything there is, but at the midpoint of all waves is the energy of Purpose from the One Life. If we visualize Purpose as a thread, then we can take any wavelength in existence, whether it be matter, light or sound, and follow the thread of Purpose as it crisscrosses through all form, great and small, back to the projecting One Life. In this simple statement is the omnipresence of God explained.

Contemplate this point because it is important. The power of Purpose projected from God is like an interconnecting thread within each wavelength, and all things are created from wavelengths. Within our bodies are billions and billions of wavelengths, all connected by the one thread of Purpose. The wavelengths that produce other humans are an extension of this one infinite thread. Not only are humans an extension of the one thread, but all living things are made of wavelengths and the single thread also permeates them. Even rocks, earth, and apparently inorganic matter is made of wavelengths, and this single thread goes through them also. Thus, there is no such thing as matter without Life and Purpose. All form is interconnected by the divine thread of Purpose, making god “in all things”.

That which produces differentiation in life, quality and appearance is merely the different frequencies and distortions of the one wavelength.

For instance, the different colored lights such as red, green and blue only appear different because of their different frequencies, or repetitions, of the wavelength that produces them. Sound is a wavelength that travels through air and produces a different effect because the wavelength of sound repeats itself much more slowly than the wavelength of light. The different frequencies of wavelengths produce different notes in sound. As you progress up the musical scale, you merely create wavelengths of a higher vibration. If one could make the vibration high enough, light could be created. If one could manipulate vibration into form, then matter could be produced.

The highest wavelength is the vibration of manifested life which is the projection of the One Life that animates all forms. The life that animates every man and woman is a wavelength of high vibration, but no two groups of wavelengths that create each man and woman are the same. Each possesses different frequencies and tones peculiar to itself. Also, that wavelength that creates each of us does not stay on the same frequency, but changes hour by hour, day by day, year by year, and from life to life. The life that we were yesterday is different from the life we are today, and will change again tomorrow. Our individual frequencies will continue to change until we play the whole symphony of God. Then the music will temporarily subside and all life will return to its source billions of years hence, and we shall share in the waking hours of God. Because we are one with God we shall never cease to be, but we daily cease to be as we were yesterday.

All physical creation is, then, produced by wavelengths, and there are wavelengths within wavelengths within wavelengths. All dualities are created by reflections and distortions of the energies of Light and Love that form the one wavelength. Reflections of Love and Light are good and evil, pleasure and pain, joy and misery, hot and cold, positive and negative, light and dark, and most important for this treatise, male and female.

The dividing point of all these dualities is Purpose. As the energy of the wavelength swings from Love to Light, the unifying energy of Purpose is sensed, and thus the energy of duality is recharged and sent on its way to expand or contract the form.

It may seem strange to say that good and evil is a reflection or correspondence to Love and Light, but an important point to remember is that all dualities correspond to these two energies. In their purest form, Love and Light are not as we understand them, but these two words are the best choice available to us for the two aspects of the wavelength. Good is a distorted reflection of Love and evil is a distorted reflection and misuse of Light. Good and evil repeats itself in history like a great wavelength animated by Purpose, and that which is good in one era can be evil in the next.

To understand relationship is to understand duality, for a relationship, or a marriage is a symbol of the unifying Purpose behind duality.

Male and female bodies are only symbols of male and female energies. The male energy is a correspondence to the energy of Love, or the Son aspect. The female energy corresponds to Light, the Holy Ghost, or Mother aspect. These correspondences can be reversed if other vantage points are used.

All things that are manifest are created by male and female energies and all these energies are united in form through the process of marriage, or union. Marriage is motivated through Purpose and gradually guides all male and female energies away from duality and separateness toward unity and oneness. Relationship, marriage or the union of male and female energies, leads all life forms back to their Source.

All things in the universe are either positively or negatively charged. That is, they are influenced more by either Love or Light energy, or they are either male or female. This includes everything from a sub-atomic particle to an atom, a human being, a planet, or a galaxy. Everything is either male or female. There is nothing that is 100% neutral except for the energy of Purpose.

Even though it is true that all forms are polarized in either male or female energy, it is also a fact that each form is composed of wavelengths with much interplay between both energies. Within the makeup of a human male for instance, there will be many female energies at work, and so will the female deal with numerous male energies within her. The reason an entity takes a male body in a certain life is because at that time his emitting waves are polarized in male energy. This polarization shifts from time to time throughout our incarnations.

Finding the True Progressives

Several days ago I asked this question;
who you think could be an agent for the Brotherhood of Light?

The group responded with some interesting observations.

Several mentioned Ron Paul. Even though I disagree with him about a third of the time I strongly agree with him on the basic principles of freedom and the importance of moving our country back to economic common sense. He has indeed been an agent that has helped move some common sense to the forefront. I would guess he is a second degree initiate.

I get an even better vibe from his son Rand Paul; however, I haven’t taken in enough about him to have a fully informed opinion. It will be interesting to see the quality of work he does.

I also get a pretty good vibe from the new House Majority Leader, John Boehner. Now some would surmise that he couldn’t possibly be a second degree initiate because he cries at the drop of a hat, as does Glenn Beck, but yielding to strong emotional feeling does not mean that one does not have reasonable mastery over the emotions.

Mastery over the emotions is demonstrated by the decisions we make more than how strongly our emotional body feels. Their are many people who rarely cry who have not mastered their emotions.

As example let us look at an emotional situation that could occur for a politician.

The politician has an opportunity to earmark some money that will build a homeless shelter. He really wants to help the homeless and knows that such an earmark will bring him a lot of praise through the media and maybe get him invited to parties at Washington.

On the other hand, he uses his reason and determines that much more spending could bankrupt the country and make us all homeless.

Even though he personally helps lots of homeless, and seeing them makes him weep, his mind prevails over emotion and he doesn’t take the earmark.

It is easy to come up with spending projects that pull on the heartstrings and takes the government’s money, but just as families are limited so is the larger family called government.

It would be nice if we could supply warm milk to all the stray cats in the town, but would it make sense to borrow money you cannot pay back to accomplish this deed? Of course not.

For anyone who wants to be in the light common sense must prevail for following emotion not tempered by reason always leads to disaster.

To judge emotional people like John Boehner or Glenn Beck we must give more weight to their actual decisions than to their surface feelings. Can they be swimming in a sea of emotion and at the same time see the light clearly enough to make decisions based on reason and common sense? That is the key.

A politician I definitely see working for the Brotherhood of Light is Israeli Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu . His decisions are centered on the plane of the mind tempered by intense feeling. I think he will accomplish quite a bit before his life is through.

Someone mentioned that they haven’t seen an enlightened Democrat since Robert Kennedy. I agree that JFK and RFK were indeed agents on the side of light and the likes of these men are missing among the Democrats today. Most of them are working to restrict freedom rather than to expand it. This is a cycle they are going through but Democrat initiates will appear when the cycle changes. There is a liberal president of Brazil that is a present possibility though.

On the present conservative realm we have these possibilities: Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter & Bobby Jindal.

41 The teachings here are not a repeat or rehash of teachings given elsewhere. When other useful teachings are found we will reference them, but attempt not to present them as if they are new or unique.

42 Contemplation is a positive aspect of meditation and is more active and takes a person in the direction of the soul if attention is used and the heart is pure.

43 True peace comes from the Spirit of God, which is the Spirit of freedom or the soul.

44 Let us all add our light and love to dispel the fear and darkness that envelops so many, that the day may come that light is so universal that a dark corner cannot be found and that love will create such a fire that none can resist being consumed.
