Initiation

Initiation

Since a member has initiated a new forum and drawing comments I thought I would say a few words about initiation.

Various orders in the past have had their rites and initiations. To advance one had to learn certain rules and pass certain tests. Even modern day fraternities have such programs to become a fully fledged member. The Brotherhood of Light is no exception. There are nine initiations for us humans to pass through – seven to be done on this planet and two extra-planetary. One must pass the first five to become a Master of Wisdom – and only a small handful have accomplished this.

So what is the main quality that is looked for to become an initiate? In the past it was revealed that one must master the physical, astral, the mind, see through glamour and illusions and many other criteria. But there is one quality that we will emphasize regularly that has not been made clear before to my knowledge.

And that it is:

“A true initiate is one who initiates. The greater the initiate the greater will be the repercussions of that which he initiates.”

When we use this as a guide it becomes easy to identify many of the initiates of the Brotherhood throughout history. Generally we have to wait a while after the server dies or leaves the scene before we can clearly see the power of the initiation.

Using this as a criteria it becomes obvious that the Christ and the Buddha are two of the greatest initiates in the history of the planet. In more recent times obvious initiates are Lincoln, Washington, Einstein, Newton. Churchill and many others. The interesting thing is that the obvious initiates are not always associated with spirituality. Initiates of the Brotherhood can manifest in any type of service, but the key factor is that they will initiate some project that will help mankind or move them forward in their evolution.

As we move forward in the groups created there will be many who will desire to be appointed to leadership as has been done in the past. When leadership is appointed the best leaders rarely rise to the surface. In the coming age leadership will be determined by the power to initiate for the exercise of the power of initiation causes the lights of the world to come out from under their bushels and so shine as a guide or an ensign for all the struggling lives looking for a helping hand.

So I want to throw out the challenge to all who read this and feel within themselves a call to service to their fellow men and women. The key to initiation is this. Find a good thing to do and then do it. When you begin to use the power of initiation for good you will then attract the attention of the Brotherhood. Before this time you may have assistance of various types from the unseen worlds, but to attract the notice of the Masters you must initiate or cooperate in a plan of initiation.

A great plan of initiation is unfolding before humanity and there will be opportunities for all to serve to the highest of one’s ability. To this end do I teach and serve.

Believing Too Much?

Let me pose an interesting consideration for Mormon readers who have been asking questions.

In Joseph Smith’s teachings, the Articles of Faith, as well as the scriptures we are promised that revelation has not stopped but continues. There are many promises that “knowledge will be poured out upon the heads of the saints.” Joseph even went so far as to say:

“A man is saved no faster than he gets knowledge, for if he does not get knowledge, he will be brought into captivity by some evil power in the other world, as evil spirits will have more knowledge, and consequently more power than many men who are on the earth. Hence it needs revelation to assist us, and give us knowledge of the things of God.” DHC 4:588

Now the interesting thing is that since the death of Joseph Smith in 1844 there has been no revelation given to the Mormon Church nor any of it’s offshoots that shed any light on higher principles of any kind that I can see.

Yet if we look at the teachings of Blavatsky, Bailey and even some of mine many principles and additional knowledge is revealed.

So what’s the deal here? Has God just been silent, sitting on his throne doing nothing for over 150 years or perhaps he has been talking to many outside the church as promised in the Book of Mormon?

To me it would be sad that if the only usable higher knowledge that has been revealed in all this time is through some tricky devil who gives us nine truths so we will buy into one lie.

I for one would rather sift through material with 90% truth than the alternative for most Mormons which is nothing.

Of course, the orthodox Mormon would argue that the authorities are giving out revelation all the time. But the last “inspired” utterance that came forth when I was still in the church was that we were supposed to clean up our yards. That’s not the kind of revelation that true seekers are looking for.

When one looks at all that is out there he will find that much of it is from human imagination and astral entities, but there are numerous true revelations having nothing to do with traditional Mormonism that will help all who are willing to receive.

Here’s another great statement from Joseph Smith:

“I believe all that God ever revealed, and I never hear of a man being damned for believing too much; but they are damned for unbelief.” DHC, Vol.6, Ch.22, p.477

Do the New Agers believe too much? Maybe this is the true road to salvation.

The Great Mystery, Part 3

The Great Mystery, Part 3

Higher Incarnation

What is significant when we think of the key word “body?” The fact is that any life who manifests in the worlds of form needs a body to enter those worlds. Each of us has three bodies of form.

  • The physical which includes the duplicate etheric body
  • The astral or emotional body
  • The mental body.

You and I could not enter into, explore and Become in physical reality until there was prepared for us a body of manifestation.

So what is the higher life above human?

Answer: It is a molecular life currently living on the mental plane waiting for a physical body to manifest.

What exactly is its body of manifestation?

Its first body among humanity will be a molecule of 24 or twelve male/female units. Just as the goal of your seven major and 21 minor centers is to tune into the higher entity which is you even so will it be the goal of molecular members to tune into the greater entity when It comes.

Concerning this greater molecular entity – it is an individual totally apart and independent from you. You have never been It and will not evolve into It just as the cells in your body have never been you and will never evolve into you. In fact, all your cells die and are replaced by new cells periodically.

Even so, if you are a part of the body of a molecular entity you are not this entity and can even be replaced and become a part of the body of another molecular entity while the first entity remains incarnated.

If you remove yourself from an original molecular body and move to a second body it should be obvious reasoning that you are not becoming the first entity.

The point I’m making here is that each entity is independent within its own sphere. It is dependent for life on the wholeness of it’s body but not the individual parts. Individual parts can move, or even be transplanted, from one body to another and the original body can remain unaffected as long as the parts are replaced.

To prepare a body of manifestation for a higher entity what must be done? We have already discussed in detail that one such body will be composed of twenty-four male/females. But that alone will not make a living body. Unless there is a link made with the Brotherhood of Light we have the equivalent of a stillborn baby. There is a body but it cannot contain a spirit. The connecting link with the brotherhood corresponds to the umbilical cord of a human baby. With no such cord providing the life giving blood there can be no living birth.

If we create a body and the Brotherhood gives life through the spiritual umbilical cord then the final step will occur.

Incarnation.

An actual entity will incarnate and each of the twenty-four will be units in its body.

This is what happened 2000 years ago on the day of Pentecost when flames of fire appeared on the heads of the apostles. An entity incarnated and the disciples were the various parts of its body. This entity had different qualities other than human and because the disciples were a part of its body they were able to use these higher and unique assets of the higher life.

Question: When you reach a point where you reach relative perfection will your progression come to a standstill or is continual evolution somehow linked to a higher life? If so how does this help you Become or progress on an eternal basis?

Body of Manifestation

The interesting thing here is that my comments and question seemed to raise more questions than they answered.

A reader wants to know if this spiritual evolution will make us extinct as individuals.

We will play out every possible dream and adventure that is within human imagination as the molecular order is expanded throughout the universe. After every dream has been accomplished and there are no more challenges from a human viewpoint then time will cease to exist and the principle of identification comes into play. All humans in the universe will eventually identify with higher lives. This identification principle is in a very embryonic stage on earth in the God kingdom and is practiced by the Masters and will soon be practiced by some of humanity in the Molecular Relationship.

When the lower life has filled the measure of its creation it then continues to progress by identifying with a higher life and living through that life with other lesser lives as if they are the one greater life. The personal individuality is still there just as it is with a cell in your body, but the whole becomes much more important than the unit.

Those who enter the Molecular Relationship in the near future will be infants in the principle of identification and it will take millions of years for us to master it. Nevertheless, the little we will comprehend as this next great step is made will create great change.

Question: Is that why some animal species just seem to disappear?

Animal species disappear because the form served it purpose for the animal entity. It is thus released and goes to a higher form within the animal kingdom.

There are three basic divisions of the animals.

(1) Microscopic lives that are capable of movement.

(2) The insect kingdom

(3) Those lives we normally call animals and birds.

Through a Molecular type of relationship the lesser lives in category one join to create category two and then the lesser lives in category two join to create the greater lives in category three. The individual lives in each category pass through many different forms within their sphere, but to move into the higher intelligence they create a higher body of manifestation (using molecular principles) that draws a higher life.

There is a big difference, however, in the application of the Molecular Relationship with plants, animals and humans. With the lesser lives the intelligence involved is supplied by great entities that preside over the lesser kingdoms, but with humans there is the privilege of joining our intelligence with greater intelligence to consciously participate in our next great leap in evolution.

Question: In what form will it incarnate? And what realm? It will no longer exist just in the mental realm but where else will it ‘reside’. It can’t be the physical because that didn’t happen at Pentecost.

JJ: This entity does incarnate into the physical. Its body as I have said, is composed of the twenty-four humans. Are the twenty-four physical entities? Of Course. Then is the new entity physical? Yes. Its body is not one of the twenty-four, but all of them. It’s form if you must have form is the symbol that represents the twenty four as it is seen on the plane of the mind and corresponds to the beginning of a crystal in the mineral kingdom.

Question: Wasn’t the entity at Pentecost the Holy Spirit?”

The actual entity that incarnated into the body created by the apostles was a different entity than the Holy Spirit. This entity being higher than human is more in tune with the Holy Spirit than are humans and when the Apostles identified with this higher life it caused a greater portion of the Spirit to work through them.

The Holy Spirit is a great spiritual entity that fills our whole solar system and is linked to all others such Spirits in other solar systems to bring about the grand purposes of God.

When we incarnate as humans we acquire a body which is composed of billions of tiny lives that are cooperating together in a molecular order so the lesser lives can have a greater experience through you the greater life. Now it is time for the human race to do the same and prepare bodies of manifestation that will draw forth greater lives so we can individually go in consciousness where no human has gone before.

Now when you die and leave your body behind and come back through reincarnation and take another you then stimulate the progression of a whole new set of lives. Even so, will the greater lives who incarnate in the Molecular Order be not confined forever to the same set of lives but will go through numerous bodies as they progress on their level.

Sterling spoke of a crystal that when the first is created that many grow quickly thereafter. This will also be the case with human molecules.

Question: We have said that an actual entity will come to the human molecule. Where do you suppose it will come from and what relationship will it have to Christ and his Hierarchy?

The Great Mystery, Part 2

The Great Mystery, Part 2

Lorraine writes:

“Has anyone created music or have the notes always been there and we just put them together in a way that has not been done before? The notes have always been there. Just not organized into the tune. So are we. We have always been there just not organized into what we now call us.”

To elaborate some more I will quote from a previous post:

“The lower part of the formless worlds is a plane of essential ideas. Consider the song “Yesterday” by the Beatles. Even before the formation of the Beatles, the essence of the song existed beyond time and space as an idea in the mind of God. As an essential idea it had no form. Then Lennon and McCartney tuned into this formless idea and brought it down into time and space and clothed it with vibration, vinyl and sheet music.

“If every piece of form representing this song in this world were destroyed the essential idea would still exist in the formless worlds and take form again somewhere, sometime.”

Anni also covered this concept very beautifully a couple posts later.:

“The ideas are already there – they are created on another level of consciousness and are just waiting for us to see or find them. When smaller lives merge into a greater lifeform by there own free will – like eg. a human molecule – we just live out an idea that was already there from the beginning. And as others have said so well: this greater life is more than the sum of the individuals, even though we still have our own individual consciousness. It must be like in our body – each single cell knows the whole, but works in a special place with a special task. But if for some reason it is necessary each cell knows the structure and the whole being it is a part of.”

To show that you really understand this principle explain how the creation of a molecule of 24 will create a greater life, where that greater life will come from and how it will get here. Does this greater life have a beginning or an end? What is our relationship to it?

To this question the best response (IMHO) was from Anni. I might add that Anni’s past few posts have been excellent. I think she really underestimates her ability.

She writes:

“This new molecule made of 24 humans is already, has always been and will always be there. It was created in the mind of God and manifested through the formless worlds. It is already manifested on the mental level because we as a group think about it. I think it is manifesting on the emotional level now as we are growing closer and closer. … In some years the molecule will manifest on the physical level as well – because we decide it to. The greater being that will come alive will of course be the sum of all 24 individuals but will also be given more energy and light from higher levels so it will indeed be more than the sum of the 24.”

JJ: Great comment, but let me add something to the latter part.

The phrase that a greater life being created by the “sum of its parts” and then being greater than the sum of its parts is often taught in metaphysical circles, but I will submit that this is a misleading phrase.

As a side note, I have found something very interesting in my pursuit of truth and that is if you hear a common phrase that is purported to be true you will often find that there is illusion behind it if the meaning is examined in the light of the soul. “Go with the flow” is a popular example that we have discussed earlier.

Technically the greater life is not created by the sum of it’s parts for it never had a creation.

Let us look at the simple molecule of water again which is composed of oxygen and hydrogen. Let us take one of these elements. Suppose we have oxygen packaged in units of ten each and we start adding them together. 10+10+10+10+10 = 50 for example. We can keep adding these packages (parts) of oxygen and what do we get? Answer: More oxygen. And how much oxygen do you get? Answer: The sum of it’s parts. Now suppose you add big numbers like billions and trillions of oxygen atoms. What do you get? The answer is the same: More oxygen gas. No matter how many parts you throw in the result is the same material, only the quantity increases.

Now let us add different type of parts. Let us add two atoms of hydrogen to one of oxygen and what do you get? Is it just the sum of the parts which is three atoms?

No.

Is it greater than the sum of its parts?

Not really because it is not the sum of anything for this new material water has properties not related to the sum of hydrogen and oxygen because it is so different from either of them. It was not created through simple addition as oxygen gas was, but through right combination, bonding, electrical exchange and other factors.

To understand this we must accept the premise that the life of God flows through all things and even atoms and molecules are alive within their own sphere. Many seekers realize that life advances in stages and that the molecule is a greater life than the atom, a cell greater than the molecule, the plant greater than a cell and so on.

These greater lives are not manifested through a simple addition but the prerequisite is a unique combination of elements that will allow the life that has always been to express itself.

Even though the greater lives have always been they are not seeking to become what they has always been. If this were the case there would be no purpose in manifesting on the physical plane. Each life that manifests here does so in the hope of Becoming that which it has never been but without the loss of that which has forever been.

Question:

What must be prepared for a greater life before it manifests and what is this process of the manifestation of a life called?

The two key words are “body” and “incarnation.”

It is obvious to us that we as humans need a body prepared and then we jump into it or incarnate, but this is not so obvious for greater lives.

Question: Why is this knowledge so significant when we think of creating a molecule of 24? What are we creating and what will incarnate into it? Does this shed light on why the Apostles of Jesus had powers that were different from human? Was the new life that shall be manifest ever human? How will the oneness principle operate between molecular members and the new life?

A Great Mystery

A Great Mystery

I notice that the group has been talking about the possibility that we as entities were once lower animals.

According to my book, The Immortal, this was not actually the case. Can you remember why it is that we are a combination of lower lives, including animals, but that which is our individualized selves did not come from them? If this is so where did we as entities come from? Did we have a beginning? Will we have an end?

Can anyone remember what the Aquarian Gospel said about it?

This ought to stimulate conversation.

On this subject Joseph Smith made an interesting statement:

“Have the Presbyterians any truth? Yes. Have the Baptists, Methodists, &c,, any truth? Yes. They all have a little truth mixed with error. We should gather all the good and true principles in the world and treasure them up, or we shall not come out true Mormons.” DHC, Vol.5, p.517

Many see great doom ahead for the bulk of humanity, but such has not been decreed by God. We have been warned of it but we are in no way doomed to mass destruction.

Some seem to have a mindset on this very similar to Fundamentalists Christians using a literal interpretation of the Scriptures. I take a different approach. Even though I study many scriptures the black and white words are far from the final verdict with me. What is then? It is the whisperings of the Holy Spirit given through my soul. So when I look to the future what does the Spirit say:

It says with great power to me these words:

“My will is not to destroy, but to save. Go forward in the great work of the salvation of my sons and daughters. Give hope to the whole of the human race.”

What I receive is the opposite of what I hear from many Bible believers. They see God up there on his throne in a very agitated state because we have not gone through someone’s interpretation of repentance. In many cases those who are preaching repentance to the world are the ones in greatest need of it. To see nothing but doom and gloom on the horizon feeds negative energy into a thoughtform that could bring on some type of mass destruction if enough energy were poured into it.

What should we do then? Should we blissfully go ahead in denial of the dangers that face us?

No, but neither should we allow the dangers to be our prime focus of attention. Make reasonable preparations for the dangers that face us, but focus on the positive. Let us not be like Jonah and sit back and wait for God to bring fire down on the wicked, but let us go forward with a true salvation and work to save the race of men and women from their lack of hope. If we bring them hope through the soul then they will look forward to a better world. Energy follows thought and if the mass of humanity hope for a better world then energy will be created that will make this happen.

I liked a statement made that noted humanity focusing on solutions saved us from a Y2K disaster

This was a good point. Just as humanity pulled together and prevented disaster through Y2K we can also pull together and guide humanity into the coming age of peace with a minimal of problems.

I felt a strange feeling when we were watching TV on New Years Eve, and in time zone after time zone watched the peoples of the earth rejoice at the new millennium and the non effect of the Y2K bug.

The people of the whole planet had heard all the doom predicted and when they saw with their own eyes that we had pulled together and solved the problem I sensed very strongly it gave them hope that we could also pull together as a human race and solve the greater problems in the world that threaten us. I felt a partial lifting of the negative thoughtform that has plagued us for so long.

The latest question:

Can you remember why it is that we are a combination of lower lives, including animals, but that which is our individualized selves did not come directly from them? If this is so where did we as entities come from? Did we have a beginning? Will we have an end?

Many people who believe in the pre-mortal existence of man think that he began his evolution as the lowest life forms, perhaps a worm, plant or even an atom, and eventually evolved to where he is today. But what is the real truth here?

The answer I am going to guide you toward has not been explained by Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey, the scriptures, Mormon writings or any other that I know about.

We can discover this truth by the understanding of spiritual principles.

Perhaps we should call this a Principle of Discovery:

Truth is in harmony with spiritual principles; therefore, we discover that which is true through the application of those principles.

What principle(s) can we apply to discover the truth of this great subject?

Principle One: If a thing has a beginning it will have an end, but if there is no beginning there will be no end. The opposite is also true. If there is an end there was a beginning and there will be no end there had to be no beginning.

This means that if there is a beginning to us as intelligent individual entities that there will be an end. If there is a beginning to eternal life then there will be an end. If there is a beginning to us being gods then there will be an end.

I submit that that which you are never had a beginning in time and shall never have an end. As a human entity in a human body you are one of the reflections of God, or as the Aquarian Gospel tells it “one of the thoughts of God.”

Principle Two: A life whether it be an atom, a worm, a man or a planetary Spirit evolves to relative perfection within its sphere. When this relative perfection is reached its progression on an individual basis comes to and end, but it uses molecular principles (see the Molecular Relationship) to enter a path of higher evolution.

Question: How can you apply these two principles in discovering the great mystery? If you were not once an animal or a plant what have you always been and will forever be? When you reach relative perfection how will you continue to “Become?”

The answer is hinted at in my writings, but I do not believe I have fully explained it.

I have written quite a bit already on this relative perfection, but I will add one more thing. Where there is not agreed upon definition for ultimate perfection then perfection is in the eye of the beholder.

On the other hand, there are many absolute perfections that can be agreed upon. For instance, an absolutely perfect circle has all points on its circumference exactly the same distance from the center. But in physical reality there is no such thing as a perfect circle. There is not a planet in the universe with an exactly circular orbit. No one has ever created a perfect circle. What is the best we can hope for? The closest we can come to absolute perfection is relative perfection. In other words, we can create relatively perfect circles.

Once relative perfection is reached in the world of form the intelligence behind its creation recognizes it and begins to duplicate this perfection. For instance, a proton is relatively perfect. These particles are not absolutely perfect because each proton has a very slight differentiation from all others. Because the intelligence behind the proton recognizes the relative perfection of this unit it has created these relatively perfect particles by the same principles everywhere in the universe.

Humanity does the same thing as God does. When we reach relative perfection in creation others copy this perfection to the best of their ability. Our better bicycles, for instance, are made about as close to maximum efficiency as possible. As manufacturers approach relative perfection others follow. We will never create the perfect bicycle, but we will eventually get so close to perfection that it would be a waste of time to attempt any more improvement.

This is what supreme intelligence has done with the proton. Perfection is so close that any more attention on improvement is not worth the effort. God’s efforts are now much better spent working on humans. We are far from relative perfection on the physical plane.

Evolution occurs when relatively perfect creations join together to create greater lives. When multiple lives join together to create a greater life – where does the greater life come from? Do the lesser lives evolve into the greater or does something else happen?”

What we are looking for here is the explanation of the missing link, so to speak in evolution. When there is progression from one kingdom to another there is a quantum leap. For instance, an atom to a plant, a plant to an animal, an animal to a human and human to a member of the God Kingdom.

Let me give you a logical reason why the progression is something far different than the mere evolution of an individual life.

In your body there are trillions of atoms to compose your one physical life. If each of these evolved into human form the universe would have to expand an unreasonable amount to accommodate all the new humans.

Instead the greater life is created without the loss of the identity of the atom. As was written in the Molecular Relationship atoms create molecules, molecules create cells and cells create plants and so on the progression goes.

There is an understanding that I am looking for about how this higher life is manifested, where it comes from and how it comes.

Technically the greater life is not created. It is manifested. How?

We have established the first major point we are looking for and that is this. A greater life is manifested when smaller lives unite with higher purpose.

Why does this mean you were not once a slug? Are you a greater life in relation to the lower kingdoms?

Some have said that we did not come from the lower kingdoms but are an eternal thought in the mind of God. If so, what caused you to manifest here for the first time and what principle will draw a higher life than human?

Wheat and Tares Part II

Wheat and Tares Part II

Let us repeat the parable under discussion:

“The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matt 13:24-30

As I have said many times all inspired words have at least three interpretations. I have previously given one, but now we will comment on the one that Jesus gave which was more in alignment with the thinking of his disciple at that time – it centers on the possible fulfillment on the physical plane.

“Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

“He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil (Adversary); the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

“As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (age). The Son of man shall send forth his angels (Messengers), and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity (are lawless); And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matt 13:36-43

The second parable teaches a similar principle:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net (maybe Internet?), that was cast into the sea (sea of people), and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world (age): the angels (Messengers) shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matt 13:47-50

In the book of Revelation as we examined earlier, we learned that the true church (those who have soul contact) are in the wilderness for three and a half seasons. This is the current situation of the lights of the earth. They are scattered everywhere among all different type of plants one can imagine.

We are now at the end of the age (mistranslated world) and in a time called the “harvest.” At the end of an age there is an attempt to gather the lights (the wheat) and stimulate a new stage in human evolution. We are now approaching the time of the gathering and it is soon at hand when a sound will go forth as if it were the sound of a great trumpet which shall ring in the spiritual ears of those who are ready.

It is noteworthy that Jesus said that the lights would be gathered with a “net.” And here we are at this place and time gathered through a net (the internet). Interesting is it not?

The trouble is that the net gathers all kinds. Some have soul contact and some do not. Then to add to the problems of the gathering the adversary throws in some tares. These are they who attempt to choke out the soul energies of the group and nullify the effect of the gathering of lights by hiding the light and focussing attention on that which is darkness.

Notice in the second parable that there are really two gatherings. The first gathering is done through the means of a net. Then after the harvest was drawn in there was a second gathering that separated those who were ready from those who were not.

And so it will be. Teachings of light will be thrown out like a great net that will interest people of all types. In the beginning of this gathering it will be difficult to tell who are the good fish (or the wheat) and who are the tares. They must learn together, work together and play together over a period of time. Then a second note will sound and more will be required of them than mere learning. The application of that which has been learned will be necessary and a physical gathering together will be called for.

Those who are lawless will rebel at this call and become extremely negative and be enemies of the gathering of lights. Thus those who are not ready for the next step gather themselves away from those who are ready. Those who receive revelation through the soul will know their correct place and seek to gather with others of like mind. The final gathering will be upon a new land not controlled by any government of the world.

We are told that the lawless ones will be cast “into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

What is the furnace of fire? For one thing it cannot be a literal fire or there would be no time to wail and gnash teeth.

Several things will cause the fire in those who refuse to accept the greater light.

Remember the story of the Israelites leaving Egypt and how the Pharaoh did everything in his power to stop them? He was so consumed with his fires of passion that he even followed them into the Red Sea to try and destroy them.

Why were the Egyptians so consumed with fire over losing the Israelites?

Answer: Because the Israelites were their slaves or servants. With the Israelites gone the Egyptians would have to do their own works and fend for themselves. In other words, they were lazy and did not want to lose their slaves.

When the lights gather, those who dwell in darkness will sense a great loss and be filled with the fire of lower passion when they realize that they are not prepared to leave the physical treasures of their heart behind and follow.

The amount of destruction by real fire and earth changes will be largely dependent on the resistance of the world to the gathering. Even as the waters of the Red Sea consumed those who sought to destroy the Israelites in that day even so will fire and earth changes destroy those who fight against the gathering which is to come.

Any major earth changes which are to come will be to insure the gathering of lights. The Planetary Spirit of the earth will sense the need to protect the lights which will be gathered and will create any earth changes necessary to destroy those who may do them harm. The Song of the 144,000 is a sweet sound that reaches up to the ears of this great entity and is one means to be recognized by her. No group of people who say this song need ever fear mother earth.

Finally we are told:

“Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.”

When the lights are gathered and the Molecular Relationship established those who stay focussed upon the light will literally shine forth as the sun and those who have inner vision shall see it. Some will have light of such brightness that their radiance will be seen with regular vision.

My book, “The Gathering of Lights” gives much more on this subject.

The Wheat and the Tares

The Wheat and the Tares

In interpreting any scripture, especially something like a parable from Jesus, we must remember that there are several layers of interpretation. This does not mean that just any old interpretation will work for a correct meaning on a higher level must correspond to the lower and visa versa.

The point to bear in mind is that scripture is always fulfilled on one or more levels, but it is not always fulfilled on all levels. The least reliable of the levels is the physical. This is the reason that scripture is often very inspiring on a spiritual level yet those who use it for physical prediction are wrong close to 100% of the time.

Yet when the incident predicted is fulfilled history often records a great accuracy in the prophecy, but the events that transpired turn out to be of a much different nature than prognosticators ever thought.

The same is true with other quality writings such as those of Nostradamus. Every time someone quotes him and predicts the future they seem to be wrong, yet each time a major historical event occurs and his predictions are reviewed, there the prediction seems to be staring us in the face and we wonder why no one spotted it earlier.

That said let us review the first parable:

Basically the standard interpretation here is that the wicked and the righteous will dwell together until the end of times and around the coming of the Messiah the wicked (usually people with differing belief systems) will be burned with fire and the righteous will be saved and dwell a thousand years (or eternity) with Jesus.

If we read the all the scriptures literally it sounds like the majority of the people of this planet are in for one horrifying experience and even the so-called righteous will be pretty miserable until “the end,” the rapture or whatever.

What few realize about this type of interpretation are two important points.

(1) The Jonah principle. Remember the story of Jonah where he definitely predicted destruction by fire, but the hearts of the people changed and so prevented the prophecy of doom from coming true on the physical level? What scriptorians overlook though is the prediction still came to pass. Instead of a physical fire there came a spiritual fire and burned away the dross of the lower self leaving the people with purified souls.

The Jonah principle is this: The outcome of each prediction is predicated on the free will of mankind.

(2) The time factor between the time the prediction was made and the time of fulfillment.

Why is this important?

Consider this. The Bible prophecies were made 2000 years ago or more. In between then and now there have been many happenings on this planet that even the most inspired prophets of that time were not able to see and these unforeseen events have altered the course of many predictions on the physical plane.

If the prophet Jonah could not prophesy accurately in the name of the Lord just forty days into the future what makes the world think that Bible prophets can accurately predict 2000 years into the future with even greater accuracy?

As the prophets looked into the future from the distant past and saw the technology we have developed today with all of our nuclear weapons and explosives they saw a strong probability that the earth would be destroyed by fire. They also saw the strong possibility that a man like Hitler would come much closer to world domination than actually happened in real life.

The greatest antichrist in our history (Hitler) was defeated by the combined will of humanity and this decisive defeat (along with other events) altered the course of prophecy on the physical plane for our age. It is not yet a sure thing but the probability is now that we will enter the new age of peace without a cataclysmic destruction by fire and the Brotherhood of Light is actively working toward that end. The words of the Christ are watchwords for all the Masters which are:

“For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” Luke 9:56

There are certain wild cards in the deck and we could yet have a major conflagration if we do not actively work to establish peace on earth goodwill to mankind on this planet. There will be some earth changes but not nearly as devastating as those predicted by the doomsayers.

Another consideration overlooked in long term prophecy is this. The age we are entering is far from the last age we shall have. There will yet be many ages hence where humanity shall exist in the mortal condition. If there is not a mass destruction by fire in this age there will definitely be one in an age to come thus eventually bringing a literal fulfillment to the words of Peter:

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” II Peter 3:10

As it is this prophecy is being fulfilled in a less expected literal sense. The “ heavens shall pass away,” is an interesting statement. The word “heaven” comes from the Greek OURANOS, the exact same word from which uranium is derived. It is also interesting that the name of the planet Uranus which rules the coming Age of Aquarius comes from the same word.

Now let us retranslate: “Uranium shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat…”

Does this make sense? Yes when the atomic bomb explodes uranium literally “passes away” and is no more. The power of the bomb is created by the splitting of the uranium atom in two literally making it “pass away” so it no longer exists.

Thus when uranium passes away there is a great noise and the elements do melt with fervent heat.

But does it burn up the works therein? Answer: It definitely burned up the works in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but it changed the works on this planet much more than this. Because of the threat of the bomb we have as a planet gone many decades without a major war and this would not be the case if we were not faced with wholesale destruction by fire.

How else has fire changed the “works” of mankind on the earth?

What runs our transportation and our world economy? All gasoline engines are run by “fervent heat” or fire. The fire of the internal combustion engine has completely destroyed the old way of doing things and brought in an entirely new structure and economy.

Even most of the electricity that heats our homes and runs our factories is generated by the combustion (fire) of oil, coal or nuclear fission..

Thus we see from this prediction that the day of the Lord will come upon us as a thief. Why? Because many of the prophesies of the end of this age are already fulfilled and the majority are completely unaware of this, just as a homeowner is unaware of the thief in the night. The word “thief” is used because many will feel as if their reality is stolen from them when they realize that none of their precious expectations come to pass in the expected way. They will feel as if they are robbed of being right just as Jonah felt he was.

Now let us review the parable of the wheat and the tares. The first verse reads:

“The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”

In the beginning of the human race (which is “likened unto a man”), a good seed was planted. That good seed is the soul, the gateway to all things of the Spirit or the kingdom of Heaven. But then the attention of the race drifted away from the soul and they went into a deep sleep. As we slept to the world of the Spirit “an enemy came.” When we have our focus on the light of the soul there can be no enemy that can do us harm, but if we sleep an enemy can indeed manifest. And what did that enemy do while we were asleep? It planted “tares” or weeds that grew with the good works of the soul.

Why do we allow the weeds to be planted and to grow? Because the weeds take faster root than the wheat and also grow with much greater rapidity. Because many feel that more is better an illusion is created that the weeds are more desirable than the wheat.

Is not this the consistent problem with humanity? Are we not attracted to that which is not real, and so we ignore the Spirit which is the real wheat with real value?

The scripture continues:

“But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.”

We as human beings go through many stages of spiritual evolution where the lower nature (the tares) sprout up and seems to overwhelm the spiritual nature (the wheat). Finally, as we approach the time of the harvest we realize that the lower nature offers us no nourishment of value. Any thought that desirable fruit would come from the tares was complete illusion. As we become aware of this we declare:

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matt 13:25-30

As the lower and higher natures grow together the wise seeker will not cast off all that appears lower for the sake of the higher because he realizes his discernment is not perfect and his spiritual nature is not yet strong enough to sustain him. Thus he allows both sides of himself to grow together until his soul contact is strong enough so he can discern with certainty the lower from the higher or illusion from reality. When he reaches this soul contact he examines himself and discovers all the parts of himself that are no longer useful and gathers them in bundles. The bundles are strong rope which is the will of God. The higher will takes the undesirable parts of ourselves and binds them so they no longer have power to distract us from the kingdom of God. Next the lower nature is burned away by the love of God no more to distract us from the world of Spirit again.

Finally, the wheat is gathered into the barn. Those with soul contact are gathered together as one in the higher planes and become the food of the gods. The higher lives feast on the works of their labors and receive nourishment from us lesser lives that allows them to progress onward in the eternal work.

I realize that Jesus gave a different twist in the interpretation of this parable, but again I wish to remind all students that inspired teachings such as this always have several corresponding interpretations that are true.

The Tenth Will Get You

As we know there is a lot of concern for those who are into structured religion that material or teachings not in harmony with their accepted criteria may be the work of the devil, Satan, dark brothers etc. A basic line with such thinking is this: “The old devil is a tricky son-of-a-gun. He will present 9 things that are true and then get you with the one lie slipped in there somewhere that will deceive you.”

Now it is possible that the one lie out of 10 idea may mislead those in astral/emotional polarization, but one thing that is overlooked is that with each passing age we have a higher quality of disciple.

Why is it that the true disciple can read teachings which are part true and part untrue yet still come away with the truth?

Why is it that he can read teachings that are only 10% true and come away with the truth?

Why is it that he does not need to fear the tricky devil pulling the wool over his eyes? Why is it that there is no book he is not willing to read and no teacher he is not willing to hear (provided they do not bore you to death)?

Why is it that “to the pure all things are pure.”

The Cala Within

The Cala Within

In the land of Sava many years ago there lived a people called the Jala who were often paralyzed by their enemies. They could not seem to ever be the masters of their destinies because of their powerlessness and lived in fear daily.

Legends existed among the people of Jala that there would one day come among them a powerful man who would fight these enemies for them so they would no longer be subject to those who abused them at will. This man they thought would be superhuman and enthroned king of the region so all their enemies would have to bow before him.

After a long wait for deliverance many began to lose faith in the appearance of such a person, but then one day, almost unnoticed, a fairly ordinary looking man walked into town. Outside of being a little taller than average and a little thinner than most there was nothing unusual about this person. Even his dress was very simple, certainly not giving the appearance of potential royalty and his slight frame gave no evidence to one with the super strength of a conqueror.

The man stayed for several days before he first drew attention at the town square where there was an image of the god of the region who was named Elume. This idol was etched of fine gold and silver and it was believed that the spirit of Elume dwelt within the image and had power to grant the answers to all petitions. To petition Elume one had to pass through a gate and kiss the feet of the image. Now the people of Sava were forbidden by law to pass through this gate without the permission of the authorities and if any should do so and kiss the feet of the image of Elume such a one should be killed.

There was one called Patro who greatly desired to overthrow his enemies and felt that if he could kiss the feet of the image he would be granted his wish for the destruction of his oppressors and gain freedom for his people.

As the stranger watched on Patro crashed through the gate and approached the image, but before he could kiss its feet and make his wish he was subdued by the guards who began to drag him away to his execution. As they dragged Patro by the stranger he stood, stretched out his hand and said: “Stop!”

The guards paused, smiled with amusement and attempted to continue, but the stranger said in a still louder voice: “Stop!”

This time it seemed that some invisible force stopped the guards and they dropped Patro. They were beside themselves and attempted to grab Patro again, but a third time the stranger commanded: “Stop!” and they were thrown back and unable to touch him.

At this the guards were very angry and rushed at the stranger to do him harm. Again he stretched out his arm and said: “Stop!”

The command caused the guards to be thrown back with strong force and they were filled with fear and ran away. Patro was so thankful that he approached the stranger to kiss his feet, but the stranger said “No! You shall not kiss my feet neither shall you kiss the feet of dead gods. Follow me and you shall stand on your own feet and have power over your enemies.

“Who are you and what is your name?” said Patro.

“My name is Jeros, Master of the Cala,” He said.

“What is the Cala?” said Patro.

Jeros paused and said: “The Cala is the same power that the people ascribe to the false god Elume. The power that they believe resides in the image of gold and silver resides instead in the human heart. I have found Cala and have learned to manifest it in the world of men.”

“Will you teach me about this Cala?” said Patro.

“Yes, I will,” said Jeros. “Gather your friends and bring them to me three days hence and you too can be masters of Cala.

Patro excitedly went to his friends and family and told them about Jeros. Some believed his story and some did not, but he did manage to gather a band of believing men and women to meet with Jeros on the third day.

They met in a secret place and sat at the feet of Jeros and listened. “What I do with the Cala all can do. The Cala is for protection only. When an enemy comes at you seeking to do harm the Cala reverses his energy back upon himself. Thus if one seeks to do you harm the only one he harms is himself. You are not to use the Cala to initiate harm, or control, or the Cala will retreat to the secret place within yourself and be as if it is not.”

As he spoke the authorities came into the meeting to arrest him, but as they approached Jeros he raised both hands outstretched towards them. Suddenly all the energy that was expended in pressing toward Jeros was pushed back against them and the authorities were pushed back and fell to the ground. They rose and rushed at Jeros a second time and again they were pushed back by an invisible force and fell to the earth. This time they were filled with fear and ran away.

The students were filled with awe at this demonstration and Patro rose up and proclaimed: “Mt friends! Hail to Jeros, Master of the Cala, the power of the gods.”

“Hail to Jeros, the Cala Master!” returned the crowd.

Jeros rose up and said: “You do not understand. I did not come here to be your master, but to teach you to be Masters of the Cala yourselves.”

“But you use the Cala in a way that we never can,” said one. “In all our history no one has ever done a miracle such as you have just demonstrated.”

Jeros groaned within himself and replied: “Believe on my words and greater powers will you have than that which you have seen me manifest for as the Cala is in me so will it be realized in you.

As he spoke a young boy approached and said: “Master. Many men are coming! They have sent an army of the strongest men to apprehend you. Not even you can resist hem. We must flee!”

“No,” said Jeros. “We shall not flee. But here is an opportunity for you to use the Cala yourself and apply that which I taught you, but you must not fear.”

The students tried to apply the teaching of Jeros, but as the soldiers approached they began to fear and the attackers struck down the first students in their path. When the others saw the first were vulnerable they feared all the more and lost all contact with the Cala.

As they approached Jeros he stood and stretched out his hand again and every single soldier fell back with great force. Again this was repeated a second time and the soldiers all quickly retreated with fear in their hearts.

At this great miracle the people thought with one accord within themselves that surely this man was a Master of Cala in a way that none before or after will ever be.

Jeros perceived their thoughts and said, “The time is not at hand to establish the Cala among you in fullness. I will stay for a short time and teach a few of you what you are ready to learn and then I must go to other lands and give others the opportunity that I have given you.

Jeros therefore stayed a short while and taught them what they were ready to learn and parted with this statement: “I must go away and visit other students, but keep my teachings in your hearts and seek to become as I am. In the future I will return and teach again. It is my hope that you will learn to master the Cala in my absence so our union will be one of joy.”

At this Jeros went to a far country and many felt he was never to be seen again.

The students gathered together in his absence and wrote down a prime directive of belief which read:

“The great Jeros dwelt with us and used the Cala in a way that has never been seen among men nor has been seen since. We therefore declare Jeros to one the one and only true Master of the Cala. It is therefore blasphemy for any of us to consider that we may be a Master as is Jeros and if one so claims to be such a Master this wicked one will be scourged and executed. Hail to the one true Master of Cala.”

The followers did gain some confidence in themselves, thinking Jeros was with them, and overthrew their enemies and tore down the image of Elume. After this they melted down the gold and silver and cast a new image after their remembrance of Jeros and did bow down and kiss the feet of this image and did make petitions to the image of Jeros as the people previously did to Elume.

Now there were several which had diligently listened to Jeros and did remember his teachings accurately. Patro and several others wrote them down and secretly passed them around. But when the caretakers of the image discovered this they sought out these followers and had them killed and attempted to destroy all the writings. No matter how hard the new authorities tried to eliminate the true students and writings they always seemed to surface again and it seemed that a true seeker could always find the real teachings of Jeros. This situation continued for many years until the time approached for Jeros to return to the land of Sava.

He entered the land under cover of darkness at midnight walked again into the town square and looked at the image of himself where the false God Elume once stood. Jeros wept for a moment and then stood and said: “Wherever the seeds of the Cala are cast true followers will manifest. Where are you? At that Jeros tuned in to the Cala within him and perceived that true students were indeed in the land and that he would seek them out. But he thought that he would disguise himself and go about the in the land and teach the principle of Cala. Alas, if he presented himself as the mighty Master many were expecting even the hardest of hearts would believe. Instead he sought to gather those who could perceive the pure vibration of the Cala.

He thus went about in disguise, which was easy for him to do as he was much older now and the people’s memories were fuzzy as to his true appearance.

He went to the wilderness areas and found true seekers of the Cala who had been cast off by the authorities. As he gathered them around himself he saw that many had fear of being found out and persecuted or killed. Jeros said: “When I was here last time I demonstrated the power of Cala, and having done so you thought I was unique and different from yourselves. But my beloved ones we are all brethren and what one can do all can do. This time you must learn to use the Cala for yourselves. Thus we will continue to gather and when the authorities come you will follow my words and use the power yourselves.

The disciples continued to study and learn until they did attract the attention of the authorities and as they were having a meeting officers did come to arrest them. The students looked to Jeros for protection, but then he looked back and said: “Do not look to my form, find the Cala within.”

The disciples were nervous, but they held steady and quieted their fears and found the Cala as the officers approached. A disciple stood up, raised his hand and by the power of the Cala he reversed the aggressive energy of the officers. As before the officers fell back. They rushed again and fell back again. At this the chief officer bowed down before the disciple and said: “Surely you are Jeros come again.”

The disciple replied: “Jeros has come again, but I am not he, but I have found the Cala.”

The officers then went back to the authorities who became very distraught at hearing this and sent a division of the army to subdue the group. This time twenty-four students stood up and repelled the army with great power. Each time they attempted attack an invisible force came back at them. Each time they fired a weapon the weapon injured one of their own. After a time the army retreated back to the authorities to report their defeat and testified to them of the power of Cala which was now manifest.

The authorities acknowledged that the group definitely had some power from somewhere, obviously some evil entity who is an enemy of the true Jeros. They then sent a petition to peacefully meet with the leader of the group. When Jeros received this he said: Now is the time for me to play my part.”

The authorities came and said to the group: “Some think that Jeros has come again. Tell us where he is so we can worship him.”

Jeros stood up and said: “I do not want your worship. If you wish to worship, worship the One God.”

The lead authority stepped forward: “If you are truly Jeros show us a sign.”

Only a self deceived and unfaithful disciple is guided by outward signs. Even if I did give you a sign you would not believe, for you do not wish to believe I have returned.

The lead authority approached closer and said: “Without a sign how can we know you are he for you are much older than the image we remember.”

“The only true sign is the Cala within,” Jeros replied.

This very much angered the lead authority and he took out a secret knife and attempted to thrust it into Jeros, but as he did the energy reversed and he stabbed himself in the leg. As the authority lay screaming on the ground his associates were filled with fear and they attempted to worship Jeros, but Jeros stopped them and said: “Your worship has no meaning. I am no more to you than the lifeless image in the town square. Go your way and bother these my friends no more, for what you do unto them shall be done to you.”

Hearing this, the authorities retreated, but because of pride could not bring themselves to tell their people that they had discovered Jeros. Instead they found that he who they thought they had loved all these years was really one who they hated. And they spent the rest of their years in frustration seeking how they might destroy that which they thought they worshipped.

But those who found the true Cala grew in numbers until they filled the whole land, for none could cause them to fear or create harm. It was not long before the authorities seemed to vanish and every single inhabitant appeared to acknowledged the Cala within and gladness, happiness and joy were in the hearts of all.

Anointed to Deliver

Anointed to Deliver

Some have criticized my disagreements with members as a battle of egos. Such a statement would condemn all great teachers in the past, including Jesus who was often confronted by his enemies (who always drew first blood). When so confronted he fought back with logic, reasoning and the Spirit.

As a matter of fact he was so good at the art of argument that it is written:

“And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.” Matt 22:46

Many feel that giving quotes will change no minds. If a mind is made up this is true, but if a mind is open, an enlightened quote can give a seed to plant in the soul so the fruit of truth will eventually sprout.

There have been times that my arguments have changed minds.

And in the above quotation of Christ He was able to silence his enemies by quoting and interpreting scripture.

So once more I will tackle scripture in the hope that some may benefit and see the oneness of all inspired works.

A reader points out that we are saved by Jesus Christ and Him only and points out the importance of using Him for the door to eternal life.

Before we discuss the scriptures let us review again the name of Jesus Christ:

Question: “So what does it mean to be called Jesus Christ?”

The name Jesus is translated from the Greek IĒSOUS which literally means Jehovah (or God) is salvation, or deliverance. Matthew merely reduces the meaning to the idea of salvation or deliverance.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matt 1:21

So, basically the name means “anointed to deliver.” Jesus did not intend to keep the name just for himself, but advised all of his followers to take the name upon themselves. All enlightened Souls are anointed to deliver those of a lower vibration. When we have been lifted up by someone above us, then it is our mission to lift or deliver others to higher ground also. There is a universal rule which tells us that we cannot go higher until we have given out what we have learned and assisted in lifting our brethren to where we are. When we have done this, then another will come along and lift us to higher ground. This is the principle behind the name of Jesus Christ. To believe on His name is to believe on this principle, that there are higher lives in the universe waiting to help deliver, or “save” us when we are ready.

This salvation is a mutual effort of the student and teacher. The teacher does not actually do the saving, but provides the tools, example and the knowledge to the student. The student then has the choice to use those tools to take the next step or to stay where he is for a while longer. If he takes the next step he is “saved” from his past error and moves into a bold new future.

Question: Who or what is Christ?

The presence of Christ involves a group of disciples wherein the Christ within them will be manifest on a large scale. These disciples will try to fulfill the commandment given by Paul: “Let this mind BE IN YOU, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.” Phil 2:5 In speaking of himself and faithful disciples he said: “But we have the mind of Christ.” I Cor 2:16

Many people quote these scriptures, but few believe them. If we really have the mind of Christ then we will find that all of the scriptures that apply to Jesus also apply to us. For instance, Jesus said: “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” John 3:13. We are also Sons of God who will ascend into heaven who have in the beginning come from heaven.

Jesus continues: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.” John 3:14

It is true that this corresponds to his death on the cross, but he also wanted to illustrate that each man should have the Son of man, or the mind of Christ lifted up within him so that “when he shall appear we shall be like him.” I John 3:2

Next Jesus said: “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:15-16.

Not only should we believe the words and works of Jesus, but we must believe in and have faith in the Son of God that dwells within us. If we do this we can have everlasting life and life at the end of the age or in the age of peace. The Son of God that can be lifted up within every man forms a part of “Christ, the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, which is ONE Eternal God.” Thus when we lift up the Son of Man within ourselves we also become the Only Begotten Son; for we are an extension of the only Son there is, for all the sons of men share a oneness that few can realize. Paul tried to teach the real Christ when he said: ”For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: SO ALSO IS CHRIST…Now ye are the body of Christ and members in particular.” I Cor 12:12&27.

The entity who is Christ is called the “head” of the body thus making him an essential “door” and savior of us all, for without the head the body cannot live. On the other hand, the head cannot live without the body, making the Master as dependent on us as we are Him.

Question: Who is to be called by the name of Jesus Christ?

In the Old Testament quite a few people were called by the name or title of Christ. Translators however did not translate the Hebrew word for Christ (MASHIYACH ) correctly so it is hidden in that ancient language. Let us translate correctly and show some examples. Anyone can verify this with a concordance.

In speaking of Saul David said: “I will not put forth mine hand against my Lord; for he is the Lord’s CHRIST.” I Sam. 24:10

In speaking of himself David said: “But thou (God) hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine CHRIST.” Psalms 89:38

In another scripture MASHIYACH refers to all Israel: “He suffered no man to do them (Israel) wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine CHRIST (Israel), and do my prophets no harm.” Psalms 105:14-15

MASHIYACH is even used in connection with a non-Jew: “Thus saith the Lord to his CHRIST, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden to subdue nations before him…” Isa. 45:1

Thus we see that Christ is a title used by many.

Everyone who listens to the sacrament (Eucharist) prayer should be aware of this principle for we are told to “eat in remembrance of the BODY of thy Son (Which body is composed of many members), and witness unto thee, O God the eternal Father, THAT THEY ARE WILLING TO TAKE UPON THEM THE NAME OF THY SON…” Moroni 4:3.

To take upon ourselves the name of the Son means a lot more than remembering the works of another man however great he is. It means that we are to have the mind of Christ within us and to not think it mockery to be equal with God or to be a “savior on Mount Zion”, or a Christ. This principle is illustrated numerous times in the scriptures. For instance: “And under this head ye are made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should TAKE UPON YOU THE NAME OF CHRIST all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives. And it shall come to pass that whosoever doeth this shall be found at the right hand of God, for he shall know the name by which he is called; FOR HE SHALL BE CALLED BY THE NAME OF CHRIST. And now it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall not take upon him the name of Christ must be called by some other name; therefore, he findeth himself on the left hand of God.” Mosiah 5:8-10.

Jesus repeated this doctrine when he visited the Nephites: “Have they not read the scriptures, which say ye must take upon you the name of Christ, which is my name? For by this name SHALL YE BE CALLED at the last day.” III Nephi 27:5 Again this is repeated in LDS revelation: “Wherefore all men must take upon them the name which is given of the Father, for in that name SHALL THEY BE CALLED at the last day.” D&C 18:24

We shall all bear the name of Christ if we are worthy and share the title of the only begotten. We are many members, but one body, “and the saints shall be filled with his glory, and receive their inheritance and BE MADE EQUAL WITH HIM.” D&C 88:107

Concerning the name of Jesus Christ we are told that it is: “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.” Eph 1:21

Now here is an interesting thought. We are told that the name of Jesus Christ is above “every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.”

On the other hand He said that “My Father is greater than I.” John 14:28

Now if the Father is greater than Jesus Christ would he not have a greater name?

It would seem so unless… unless – they both have the same name! Do not Father and Son in this world adopt that practice? They at least both have the same last name do they not?

The only way that Jesus Christ could be the greatest name that is named is if God the Father as well as any other Gods up the line all take upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ as the Highest name that could be named?

And why is it the highest name?

Because there is no higher act than being anointed to deliver or taking the one seeking help and pulling him up to where you are. This represents the pure love of Christ and is love manifest.

Notice the careful wording of the following scripture:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Matt 28:19

Notice that three entities are identified, but the word “name” is singular. Why? Because all three share one name which is Jesus Christ.

This is further illustrated by other scriptures:

“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:43

What name did Jesus come in?

Again the name of Jesus Christ.

“Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” John 12:28

Where is there any name of the Father that was glorified except the name of Jesus Christ?

Notice that Jesus clearly said beyond dispute that He “declared”: and “manifested” the actual name or the Father.

“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.” John 17:6

“And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:26

Even though the name of the Father is referenced over and over there is no mention of some mysterious name that was revealed. Why? Because we can’t see the forest for the trees which is that the name of the Father was revealed through Jesus and that name is Jesus Christ, which is the principle of eternal deliverance.

Taking part in being “anointed to deliver” other lives behind us on the path is the highest act in the universe and thus represents the “highest name,” demonstrating the highest love.

This is why Jesus said that those who would be found on his right hand would be those who deliver:

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

“Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matt 25:34-40

Who therefore is found on the right hand of God?

Those who are anointed to deliver and with love stretched out in the hand of service to lift their fellowmen – out of their prisons, out of their hunger, away from their thirst – and clothe them so they will no longer be naked of the Spirit and truths of God.

The principle behind the name of Christ is the only thing that can redeem any of us. Without help from others stretching forth their hands in service through the principle of Christ which is the name of Christ we must remain forever in the fallen state.

How about the entity who is Jesus Christ from Nazareth?

He is indeed a door for us and is essential for our deliverance from lower worlds for he has the highest understanding of the higher laws of any from humanity. He alone was the first to open a door for us to solidly link with the Ancient of Days, the greatest Christ on this planet. All Masters, angels and men look to this one who was the carpenter’s son for an example of what is ahead in our own progress and salvation.

Oneness Through the Soul

Oneness Through the Soul

QUESTION: For what purpose does a Hierarchy exist? If unity and common purpose can be achieved theoretically with universal ‘soul contact’ why is a hierarchy of Gods necessary?

JJ: Soul contact is just the beginning of an endless journey. Just because we participate to a degree in the oneness principle does not mean that we have achieved all there is to achieve. When we become members of the Kingdom of God all knowledge is available to us if we earnestly put our attention on it, but which knowledge to bring into our sphere and what to do with it is an eternal process.

Consequently if there be two people upon the Path one will be in a different location than the other. If we are left to our own devices we will stumble on the path or wander off in strange directions in the dark. Sacred writings are given to us to help, but we often misinterpret them. The greatest aid to us is someone who has already taken the step we desire to take. This person knows all the pitfalls and most importantly he can testify that the step is really there to be taken.

Just as we earlier discussed the “snowflake principle” pointing out that no two snowflakes are the same, even so there is hierarchy in all things with each person playing a different part unique to creation.

There is a Hierarchy in all things because there is a universal need for hierarchy. This need is recognized by the brothers on both the right and left hand paths, but their approach is different. Those on the left use hierarchy to control and service is expected to the hierarchy.

Those on the right use hierarchy as a means of service to the struggling lives and maximum free will for the individual is encouraged.

Without hierarchy there would be no cohesive plan for the eternal progress of mankind and individual lives. It would be each person for himself with no one to show us the way. There would be no Christ, no Buddha, no great teachers in our history who are all participating in hierarchical endeavor.

Question: Can we have an awareness of the imperfections of another yet still see the perfection within? How is this possible?”

Sometimes it is just as difficult to see Christ in a loved one who says an unkind word as it is a rapist. But to see Christ in a person who does harmful things is not to accept or condone their actions. You do not pretend that the person is innocent. Instead you do not put attention on the negative but place full attention on the Christ within. When you do this your personal world will be transformed and you will be saved by the presence of Christ.

Saved? I can see some believer’s hair stand on end here.

Yes saved, but remember there are many things to be saved from.

When we see the Christ in our brother instead of seeing imperfections to hate we feel love and we are saved from this negativity.

This process must begin unilaterally. You can’t wait around for your brother or sister to see Christ with you. You must apply the principle first, just as Jesus said: “You love me because I first loved you.”

I think the key word here is to look beyond the imperfections in the other to see the soul. This is difficult to do, but if we practice it daily the rewards will be great. Just ask my wife. She gets a lot of practice on me.

Question: The scripture says: They shall see eye to eye when the Lord shall bring again Zion. How can a group see eye to eye without the imposition of strong authority? We see how difficult it is with us don’t we? Is it possible for 200 or more to see eye to eye?

The thing to remember here is that all have the capacity to have soul contact, but few have obtained it with proficiency.

Those who are not yet sensitive enough (or unwilling) to hear the whisperings of the still small voice cannot see eye to eye on all things. Those who are centered in the lower personality can agree on items of similar interest, but when the interest and philosophy differ an impasse is reached and a lack of oneness is revealed.

If two or more people have soul contact and are willing to use it then they can throw the impasse before the Spirit of God within them and receive a unifying answer.

Whenever my wife and I reach a disagreement in the personality and we feel it needs a solution we seek communion with the soul together and when it comes the disagreement is instantly removed and we are one again. It is a wonderful feeling. Our wrongful thinking is often just taken from us and we cannot even remember what the disagreement was.

When we seek an answer through the soul we both feel our lower natures rebelling at the idea and we have to force ourselves to seek for guidance together.

An answer through the soul can come in at least three ways.

(1) By honestly communicating with each other and sharing love as you do so.

(2) Through meditation

(3) Through Prayer

Now here is the major problem with a group of hundreds (or thousands) of people of diverse states of consciousness. If a number in such a group are incapable or unwilling in the present to achieve oneness through soul contact then the fire of the Spirit that brings one mind will never descend upon them. So what is the answer?

Actually Jesus gave hints in two of his parables:

Parable of Wheat and Tares

“The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

“So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

“He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

“But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matt 13:24-30

Parable of the Net

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net (maybe Internet?), that was cast into the sea (sea of people), and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

“So shall it be at the end of the world (age): the angels (Messengers) shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matt 13:47-50

What is the meaning of these two parables? How do they indicate the path to oneness? What about the so called “wicked?” The literalists believe that they will be burned alive, but could the meaning be something else?

Someone stated that they can be in a room with all kinds of people, some centered in the lower personality and some in the soul, yet maintain soul contact. In other words, those of lower personality did not interfere with her inner self.

Yes, I agree this should be true. Nothing in heaven or hell can interfere with the inner contact of the sincere seeker. Yet again there is something more than this. When two or more people who have soul contact blend together for one purpose they create a channel for a flow of higher energies creating higher life that is not available to the lone individual.

Jesus hinted at this when he said:

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matt 18:19

When two or more gather and agree through Christ (soul contact) Christ is in the midst in a way that cannot happen in the single condition.

The true beginning of the higher spiritual life (or the Molecular Order) is the union through the soul of two or more, but then a human molecule of 24 entities will create a higher experience still.

In other words, that which we can experience as an individual is far from the ultimate spiritual experience.

When we become one with others who are one with God the magical powers of the soul are manifest.

We are told that God gathers the lights by sifting people as one does when panning for gold.

My Dad did a lot of prospecting and mining and he taught me how to pan for gold.

The first step is to gather some soil from a place where there is a good likelihood of finding the gold. Next you fill up the gold pan and put the pan and dirt in a stream of running water and let the movement of the water sift away the light soil. After you do this for a while you find that just the heavy elements remain. When you are left with just a small amount of elements you let the water move the residual from left to right. Since gold is the heaviest it will remain unmoved whereas the other elements will move away. As you do this and, if you are lucky, you will find some gold. But it is easy to be deceived for “all that glitters is not gold.” Some beginners will see some glittering mica and think they have found the prize. Then sometimes we see fools gold and think we have found it. The only true test is to move the elements back and forth until you note that the true gold holds fast to its position whereas the lesser elements go with the flow.

What symbolism do you see between panning for gold and gathering the lights or between panning for gold and the above two parables of Jesus?

Most of us realize that inclusiveness is a good principle. For instance, we try and include all types in this group. If inclusiveness is good does this make a gathering of lights exclusive or undesirable? What do you think?

Ye Are Gods

Ye Are Gods

I have been getting comments of concern from an LDS reader as to how my teachings harmonize with the new age thinking and Mormonism.

In many cases the philosophy between Mormonism and New Age is not that far apart. The difference is largely in background and how terms are defined. One real difference is that New Agers are willing to consider most any teaching whereas the Fundamentalist Christian generally will only explore teachings that are in harmony with his interpretation of scripture. Alas, if he then misinterprets scripture he may wind up rejecting the truth merely because he refuses to explore and consider new thoughts and doctrines.

One of the main things that seem to be of concern is the New Age view of God to which many on the group adhere. For us to understand religious concern we must first understand the Mormon view of man becoming God.

In a nutshell Mormons believe that we all evolved from a primeval state called “intelligence” through some type of Spirit existence where we were nurtured by God and finally we wind up here on earth in mortal bodies.

The next step is to obtain immortality and move onward to become like the Father (and many believe Mother) God who has nurtured us through existence.

They quote Joseph Smith as saying: “God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted Man…That is the great secret…God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth the same as Jesus Christ did.”

Another Mormon authority said: “As man is God once was and as God is man may become.”

They thus believe that God sits enthroned somewhere in a physical body in one location and is not omnipresent. They see His influence as being everywhere but not his actual presence because of confinement in a physical body. They also see the Holy Ghost as being in a human form, but having a spirit body. Even though he is in one body the church has never attempted to explain how millions of people can receive him at the same instant. This is nebulously explained as receiving his influence also.

When the scriptures teach of the oneness of God the Mormons see this as many Gods who are one in purpose.

Thus when the Mormons hear New Agers and others speak of a universal God who is omnipresent they feel we do not understand the hierarchy of Gods.

When the scriptures speak of being one with God they do not see this as a oneness as in one life. Instead they see being one with God as agreeing with the purpose of God and thinking as He thinks – a little like two business people who agree on the business plan.

Thus when a Mormon reads about any metaphysical concept of God they believe that we do not have the “modern revelation” that they have and we have a misconstrued belief.

May I present to you the idea that it is the Mormons who are missing revelatory details and not the students of metaphysics?

If we take the pure teachings of Joseph Smith on the concept they are in complete harmony with metaphysical teachings. Basically enlightened (not all new agers are enlightened) new agers embrace the teachings of Joseph Smith. Here is a summation of how the two philosophies are the same.

“The essence of man never had a beginning and has evolved from a primeval state through spiritual spheres and finally into human physical form. There is a being of very high estate who is as a God over this planet and this great being is nurturing us to be come as he is. What this being is, is what we will be in the far future. This being, however, is not the highest God. He once dwelt upon an earth like this as a mortal and had a God over him. This God (the one over our God) is now even higher than the Ancient of Days who now presides as Father God over this earth. Thus the God over this planet has a god over him who has a god over him who has a god over him and so on up the line.”

Now the interesting thing is that the above statement could be presented as either a Mormon belief or a typical metaphysical belief of Alice A. Bailey readers. The only difference is that sometimes new agers use a little different vocabulary. Sometimes they use “Master” instead of the word God in this context.

Whereas the Mormons think the New agers are lacking a piece to the puzzle, the truth is the other way around, for metaphysical students already embrace the Mormon piece but add additional pieces.

What are these additional pieces?

(1) Whereas the Mormons believe that all the Gods (Masters) are confined to physical bodies (even though no revelation states this) new age revelation teaches that the Masters have overcome death and have power to manifest in the physical, but the higher Gods (Masters) only use the physical body, or form, to manifest in the lower worlds. There are higher worlds where a physical body is not needed and this vehicle becomes temporarily unmanifested to enter these formless worlds

There are three worlds of form where we manifest in a body of form. These are the physical (the Mormon telestial), the astral (telestial) and the worlds of mental matter (celestial).

Now the Ancient Wisdom teaches that there are worlds above the celestial. The interesting thing is that even though most Mormons believe the Celestial is the highest the Mormon scriptures themselves teach the same thing and states that there is a “higher order of kingdoms” than the celestial. This higher order of kingdoms is revealed in the teachings of Alice A. Bailey.

(2) The Gods (Masters) are indeed one in purpose as the Mormons teach, but the oneness goes beyond that. They are also part of the one life that pervades the universe. When the God consciousness is reached then a person becomes a Master of the physical world of causes and obtains an awareness that he is merely a cell in a greater body which is the One True God.

All of us are a part of the body of God, but we do not realize it. When we do obtain this “higher consciousness” then we consciously become aware of other cells in the body and the body of God as a whole to an evolving extent.

If one were of such consciousness that he could be aware of the whole body of God he would have to leave the physical body far behind. This is also verified by Joseph Smith:

“Wherefore, no man can behold all my works, except he behold all my glory; and no man can behold all my glory, and afterwards remain in the flesh on the earth.” Moses 1:5

Such a consciousness would be so high that one would have to leave behind the idea of manifesting in physical form again on not only this earth, but any earth. The only way for such a master to so manifest again would be to lose his memory and identity of his high consciousness.

(3) The thing that really bothers Mormons (as well as most standard Christians) about the new age view of God is the belief that we are gods right now; whereas Mormons believe we are becoming Gods. Let us again substitute the word “Master” for God and then we see that both camps believe that we are becoming Masters (Gods) and eventually we will become like the Master (Father God) that presides over this planet.

When a metaphysical student says he is God or one with God Mormons have to realize that this is a totally different doctrine than the Mormon concept of Man becoming God, but completely in harmony with it.

The metaphysical concept is actually more in harmony with the teachings of Joseph Smith than the Mormons are.

He said over and over that if a thing has a beginning it must, as God lives, have an end and if something did not have a beginning then it will have no end. There is no such thing as a beginning with no end. See History of the Church Vol. 6; pg 311

Therefore according to Joseph Smith “as God lives” if there is a beginning to being a God there will be an end. I know of no Mormon who teaches this, but to not do so is to disagree with their founder.

The only way we can be gods forever is if we have already been gods forever. As a cell in the body of the Eternal God we realize this is true when we gain a realization that we are a reflection (in the image) of God and have always existed as co-equal with the one God.

This is in harmony with another statement of Joseph which most Mormons ignore or believe he misspoke: “The mind or the intelligence which man possesses is co-equal with God himself. I know my testimony is true.” History of the Church Vol. 6; pg 310

If our intelligence is then “co-equal” with God this doctrine is indeed in harmony with the ancient wisdom which teaches that man is “co-equal” with God and as such has always been God. We are just Gods who do not realize who we really are.

This agrees with both the old and new testament. First David said:

“Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Psalms 82:6

Finally arrogant young Jesus angered the Jews by teaching the oneness of God and man. As they tried to stone him he asked them what he had done wrong. They answered: “For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” (John 10:33-36)

The angry Jews immediately saw here that the doctrine that man and God are one means that man is God. They called this blasphemous just as many religious people today still do. Jesus, however, courageously rebuked them and reminded them that men were called Gods in the Old Testament scriptures and the scripture “cannot be broken”.

This kind of talk only infuriated the Jews more and Jesus had to escape for his life from the midst of their anger.

Notice the scripture says: “Ye are Gods,” not “ye shall become Gods.”

Jesus realized that we are indeed created in the image of God and as such are already like our creator, which creator of our original intelligence is the One God beyond time and Space and as reflections we have within us all the attributes of the original one God, even though this is unrealized by normal human consciousness.

Perhaps, if Jesus were here with us now he would say again: “ye are Gods,” but add: “and ye are becoming Masters by knowing God which is knowing yourself.”
