The Tribes and Astrology

The Tribes and Astrology

Question: When Christ returns with his 12 apostles, won’t the number 13 return to it’s former status and meaning? The twelve apostles guided by the real Christ? The counterfeit guarantees the real, right?

JJ: The Christ is the molecular link between heaven and earth that brings down the spiritual energy.

If Christ were to come in a physical body of his own he could be the thirteenth member in the center if he so chose. He could also choose to set an example of humility by being one of the twelve and using the invisible Christ energy as the center point.

If an overshadowing precedes his coming or becomes the focus of his coming then the invisible Christ will be the thirteenth. Precautions will be taken to avoid using the thirteenth as a strong authoritarian figure that eventually could destroy the new age as it did the early Christian Church with the rise of the popes.

Comment: If we are going to take the astrology and the observable facts seriously we must count for the fact that there are 13 moon cycles and time is a living entity driven by purpose in space.

DK says that astrology as it is practiced today is a flawed science. Why he does leave out the 13th sign is a mystery to me except for the principle of time and cycles and ongoing progression and the revealing of a right thing at the right time.

JJ: The twelve signs of the zodiac and the thirteen cycles of the moon are two entirely different cycles and not related to each other. There is no 13th sign of the zodiac in present astrological measurements.

Question: You say that Dan was replaced by Manasses. Does it mean that Manasses is an alias for Dan? That the tribe of Dan simply got a different name? If so then there are twelve tribes in total instead of thirteen.

JJ: There has never been thirteen tribes. Manasses is not an alias for Dan, but a substitute

Comment: According to traditional sources I am a Sagittarius but according to this I am not.

“Now, will an Ophiuchus please stand up!

Astronomical Constellations of the Zodiac

Constellation Dates

Capricornus     January 19 to February 15

Aquarius   February 16 to March 11

Pisces  March  12 to April 18

Aries   April    19 to May  13

Taurus May     14 to June  19

Gemini June     20 to July  20

Cancer July     21 to August   9

Leo      August 10 to September 15

Virgo   September 16 to October 30

Libra   October 31 to November 22

Scorpius    November 23 to November 29

Ophiuchus November 30 to December 17

Sagittarius December 18 to January 18”

These findings are based on astronomy, the heavens have moved since the original/traditional order was established.

So if the constellations have moved then there are different influences or “rays” of energy in effect now than were thousands of years ago, according of course to the different times of the year.

JJ: DK tells us that the current measurement of the constellations are not accurate, but this does not matter.

Why?

Because current astrology is based on personality energy and the correlating energy from the signs of the zodiac is created from the thoughtforms built by humanity over thousands of years.

He states that the masters use different astrological techniques than we do and read the chart of the soul, which is only done for disciples.

Question: Do we remain in the same tribe from incarnation to incarnation?

JJ: We change in a number of ways from incarnation to incarnation. Our birth sign changes and correspondingly the tribe that influences us changes. Some of our rays also change as well as our physical features.

What stays much the same is the look in a person’s eye.

We reach discipleship and change course in the zodiac when we are over 95% done with our incarnations. On the reverse zodiac we will experience only 12 to maybe 30 lifetimes. Clockwise in the zodiac we can experience close to 1000 in this round.

None of the numbers to reach any point are black and white for all progress is predicated on our decisions and our efforts behind them.

The Twelve Tribes and the Zodiac

The Twelve Tribes and the Zodiac

The verses under consideration are:

“Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.” Rev 7:5-8

Question: Are the twelve tribes related to the twelve signs of the Zodiac? Which tribe is related to which sign? Is there a correlation to the twelve petals of the heart center? Any other meanings come to you?

The first thing to note is the tribe of Dan is replaced by Manasses or Mannasseh), the Son of Joseph, giving Joseph and his descendants a double portion of the number sealed.

Perhaps this is the fulfillment of the words of Israel (Jacob), his father when he blessed his sons he said to Joseph: “Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren.” Genesis 48:22

There are a number of theories as to why the tribe of Dan was dropped. One of the main ones is the legend that the Antichrist would come from this tribe. This idea is also traced to a scripture in Jeremiah:

“The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.” Jer 8:16

On top of this his Father Jacob said this of him: “Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.” Gen 49:17

Not too many fathers call their child “a serpent by the way,” but that was the lot of Dan. Since Satan is often called the serpent, this gives readers one more reason to associate Dan with the Antichrist.

There have been many attempts to associate the twelve tribes with the twelve signs of the zodiac and perhaps for a good biblical reason. Concerning Joseph, it is written:

“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.” Genesis37:9

The sun was a symbol of his father, the moon his mother and the eleven stars his brethren. If we add in Joseph we have 12 stars, which could stand for twelve constellations. These along with the moon and the sun account for a good portion of the ingredients of astrology.

Attempting to neatly correlate the tribes with the signs by the order of appearance is frustrating. For one thing, the order in Revelations is different from any order given in the Old Testament and is out of birth order.

I’ll give the associated signs that I deem most accurate and if any wish to disagree or present any evidence to the contrary they are welcome indeed. The correlation I give below are significantly different than any other attempt, even though several agree with other interpretations.

The first tribe mentioned is that of Judah. Judah was mentioned first, not because he was first born, but because the firstborn Son of God was descended from him.

To many it would seem obvious that Judah would be represented by Leo since earlier we are told that Christ was the lion of the tribe of Judah and, of course, the lion is the symbol of Leo.

But some have associated it with Taurus and Aries. Taurus makes sense because this sign is associated with money and the Jews have always had a talent in accumulating it. But Taurus is also associated with comfort and enjoyment of luxury and because of persecution the Jews do not fit in here.

For one thing, the Jews flourished in the age of Aries and it is interesting to note that an ancient coin was recently discovered, apparently issued by the Romans of Antioch to commemorate their takeover of Judea in AD 6. This coin bore the symbol of the ram, representative of Aries.

Even so, I still tend to go with Leo. The tribe of Judah has indeed been the most powerful and sees itself as the chosen people just as the Leo person sees himself as a special person.

Reuben is next. He was the true firstborn. The first born or the first fruits are often associated with Taurus

Third is Gad. The Hebrew for this name means “troops” and during the age of Pisces there were many wars and more troops than any other recorded age. The Hebrew GAD spelled backwards equals “fish,” the symbol of Pisces.

Fourth: Aser, or Asher. Ashera is the goddess of plenty. She is depicted as a virgin, carrying a sheaf of wheat. Asher would be Virgo the virgin.

Asher is associated with food, “Asher’s food shall be rich, and he shall yield royal dainties.” (Gen. 49:20) Correspondingly Virgo is associated with food. The sun enters Virgo at the end of the growing season. Virgo is pictured with grain in her hand.

Fifth: Nepthalim. Rachel named her handmaiden’s son this because “with the wrestlings of God I have wrestled with my sister and I have prevailed.” Nepthalim was the son of Bilhah which means “trouble”. Even though Nepthalim is the son of trouble he wrestles with it and eventually prevails and brings forth blessings and gladness. It is the sign of Capricorn symbolized by the mountain goat where one wrestles with great trouble and prevails.

Sixth is Manasses who replaces Dan. The serpent associated with Dan is associated with Scorpio. It is most likely that Manasses (or Manasseh) would keep that place.

Seventh and eighth are Simeon and Levi.

Of these it is written:

“Simeon and Levi are brothers; weapons of violence are their swords. O my soul, come not into their council; O my spirit, be not joined to their company; for in their anger they slay men, and in their wantonness they hamstring oxen. Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce; and their wrath, for it is cruel! I will divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.” (Gen. 49:5-7)

Some think they both together make up the sign of the twins, or Gemini, but in the context of Revelations they would have to represent two signs or one would be without representation.

Simeon would be represented by Aries. Simeon is warlike and Aries is the name of the god of war.

Levi would be Sagittarius, a brother fire sign, represented by the symbol of the bow, an instrument of war.

Nineth and tenth is Issachar and Zebulon. Again, these two are mentioned together in the scriptures and they are likewise grouped together in the Book of Revelation.

It is written: “They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall such of the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.” Deut 33:19.

Issachar in the Hebrew means “he will bring a reward.” Aquarius is associated with water as a reward in that the sign pictures him as bearing a jar of living water that he pours out to a thirsty world. He shall call people to “the mountain” or the kingdom of God during the age of Aquarius that we are entering.

Zebulon is represented by Cancer, symbolized by the crab who hides ‘in the sand.” Water is also associated with it since it is a water sign and represents treasures of positive emotion around security and home, a strong ingredient for establishing the new age.

Eleventh is Joseph. The sign of Gemini fits him. It is the sign of the twins and he received twin blessings through his sons Ephriam and Manasseh. The United States is sometimes called the “land of Joseph” for many bible students believe his descendants are here. The United States is ruled by the sign of Gemini.

Twelfth, and last is Benjamin. Many astrologers have difficulty in deciding which sign belongs to him, but I submit that Libra is a good correspondence. Libra is symbolized by the balances and this energy swings the decisions in life one way or another.

When Joseph was a slave in Egypt it was Benjamin who Jacob took under his arm as the only other son of Rachel, whom he loved, and used him as a measure for his direction. When the brothers went to Egypt for food, and were returning home, it was to save Benjamin’s life that they returned to meet their brother Joseph.

These twelve divisions signify the sealing of the 144,000 units/individuals to God. What does this mean?

If a life is sealed to God then its focus is polarized more in the world of spirit than it is in the physical. The will of God is done on earth “as it is in heaven.”

What is meant then by the 12,000 from each tribe with a grand total of 144,000? There is an outward interpretation and an inward one. On this treatise we are focusing on the inward, but will say this about the outer.

Few of the prophesies of the Book of Revelation will come literally true according to orthodox interpretation. There will not be 12,000 gathered from descendents of the literal twelve tribes. Even on an outward basis, the symbols have to be interpreted to discover how the prophecy applies.

When 144,000 with true spiritual direction are gathered from the world they produce a new consciousness with higher intelligence manifest. These are a higher correspondence to the physical cell and represent a spiritual cell. To activate this the twelve energies represented by the twelve tribes and the signs of the zodiac must be balanced.

This idea is further elaborated on in my book The Molecular Relationship.

The inward meaning which unveils the Christ within is also interesting. The five lower centers have 48 energy petals and the sixth, representing the sixth seal has 96. These two added together equal 144. The seventh center at the top of the head has 1000 petals representing the 1000 lifetimes it takes to manifest the perfected man. 1000 times 144 represents the interplay between the higher and lower that must take place over myriads of time before the perfected Christ manifests through us.

The individual 12 tribes represent the twelve petals of the heart center which interplays with a second heart center in the head within the 1000 petalled lotus. The energy of the heart is the energy of soul, or Christ consciousness, and the twelve energies must be mastered and sealed to God for the perfected human to materialize

The Angel from the East

The Angel from the East

“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” Rev 7:1-4

First it is interesting and affirming to note that the angel from the east has power to seal in the “forehead” after the opening of the sixth seal. And where is the sixth chakra?

In the forehead.

Let’s go through the verses and interpret these interesting symbols.

“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.”

The earth represents the physical body and the four corners represent the lower quaternary which is:

[1] The etheric double of the physical body, or our body that receives vital energy. The source of this vital flow is the first chakra.

[2] Prana, the Life Principle or vital energy. This is powerfully manifest through the sacral center governing sex.

[3] The Emotional or kamic body – associated with the third chakra of the solar plexus.

[4] The lower mind – manifesting mainly through the throat center.

The four angels stand for the positive spiritual energies that are manifest though the lower self after the first four seals are open. Many tend to look at the lower self as a handicap and a negative thing, but the lower centers, once mastered, (symbolized by the opening of the seals) release the energies of the God within adapted to maximizing the lower self in the service of Spirit.

The four winds stand for the energies of the four centers of the lower self (or lower quaternary) which blow out of control and are destructive unless they are held under the control of the four angels of positive spiritual energy.

The scripture continues:

“And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”

When the disciple opens the sixth seal, governing higher reason and inspiration, he releases the “angel ascending from the east.”

This angel represents the Spirit and intelligence of God manifesting through the center in the forehead which is revealed after the opening of the sixth seal. This angel is closer to the source of Spirit than are the lower four angels and can thus send them instructions and intelligence.

The angel ascends from the “East.” What does this mean?

Clues is given in other scriptures:

Matt 24:27 “For as the lightning cometh OUT OF THE EAST, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Matt 2:1 “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came WISE MEN FROM THE EAST to Jerusalem,”

Matt 2:9 “When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they SAW IN THE EAST, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.”

From the east came the light of Christ bright as lightening. The wise men of great understanding came from the east and even the morning star, the last real light in the morning night came from the east.

The east represents the Christ energies of Love/Wisdom found in the heart center and as they “ascend” to the forehead they take the form of an angel of intuitive intelligence that sends forth intelligence to the four angels governing the lower personality.

This great angel tells the lower four angels to not allow hurt to come to the earth (the physical body – use intelligence to keep it healthy) the sea (the feeling nature – learn to be at peace with yourself) or the trees. Trees, here, are our ambitions, goals and ideals growing up in physical plane life. Even though we attempt to follow the spiritual path we must still live in the real world and nurture a certain number of plans and goals to take care of our needs as well as our loved ones.

A dreamer who has no power to manifest on the physical plane remains a dreamer of dreams that fade, change and disappear. He is of little use to God or man.

The disciple who opens the sixth seal thus must continue to live in what is called the “real world” and not allow those things that make physical life worth living to be destroyed. In this condition of peace and stability he can free his consciousness from worry and concern and thus allow the “angel from the east” to seal the name of God in his forehead.” (also see Rev 14:1)

When the disciple is free from the worries of physical health, emotional well-being and financial stability he thus has the power to serve and learn the true name of God associated with the sixth seal. This name is Jesus Christ, but the key of understanding is the meaning behind the name.

The name of Jesus Christ means “anointed to deliver.” Jesus did not intend to keep the name just for himself, but advised all of his followers to take the name upon themselves. All enlightened souls are anointed to deliver those of a lower vibration. When we have been “saved,” or elevated, by someone above us, then it is our mission to lift or deliver others to higher ground. There is a universal rule which tells us that we cannot go higher until we have given out what we have learned and assisted in lifting our brethren to where we are. When we have done this, then another will come along and lift us to higher ground. This is the principle behind the name of Jesus Christ.

When the disciple learns to be the true servant and reaches out with a helping hand that has real power to assist he then has discovered the true Christ, or name of God within, and is sealed by the power of the angel from the east.

The scripture continues:

“And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”

I cannot improve upon Djwahl Kuhl’s explanation of this in the writings of Alice A. Bailey:

“The five centres with their forty-eight petals are synthesised therefore into the two-petalled lotus, and then we have forty-eight plus two equals fifty, the number of the perfected personality, for five is the number of man and ten is that of perfection. Symbolically also, if the sum total of the forty-eight petals of the five centres is added to the ninety-six petals of the centre between the eyebrows, the number one hundred and forty-four appears. This number signifies the completed work of the twelve creative Hierarchies, twelve times twelve, and thus the bringing together of the subjective soul and the objective body in perfect union and at-one-ment. This is the consummation. To these figures, one hundred and forty-four add that of the number one thousand (the number of the petals in the lotus of the head centre) and you have the number of the saved in the Book of Revelations, the one hundred and forty-four thousand who can stand before God, for the three ciphers which are found indicate the personality. When man has completed within himself the great work, when the number one hundred and forty-four thousand is seen as symbolising his point of attainment, then he can stand before God-standing now not only before the Angel of the Presence, but before the very Presence Itself.” Treatise on White Magic pages 199-200

Comment on previous post: It’s a bit of a stretch don’t you think……  “In the dens and in the rocks of the mountains”

That doesn’t sound like a symbolic meaning of consciousness…

JJ: The word “dens” comes from the Greek SPELAION which literally means “cavern” or “cave.” The word can by implication mean a “hiding place.” The interpretation that a cave corresponds to a hidden state of consciousness is not new but has been used from ancient times for symbolic meaning so the interpretation I gave is quite credible.

Comment: It is really not that hard to make up your own version of writings like that bible. Everyone has an opinion.

JJ: For one thing I just do not “make up” my version. I attempt to tune in to the soul and interpret from the vantage point of the Oneness Principle so it will speak to the soul of others. In doing this we have unveiled some aspects that have been hidden for 2000 years.

Some here feel the truth of what I have written because of registration through their own souls.

Every inspired writing has several interpretations which are applicable, but hundreds which are not. If you think it is easy to find one that is in harmony with the Law of Correspondences then by all means put it forward for the benefit of the group.

Others are making a great effort to do this and have presented slants different from mine which give us great food for thought, but it takes quite an effort for anyone to do this. This is why only a handful are attempting to assist in unveiling this great revelation.

Not all will be impressed with the interpretation given by anyone but no one will solve the mysteries of this book and others without making an effort.

Comment: Papyrus Reveals New Clues to Ancient World “Turns out “666” may not be the number of the Beast after all- an older version of the Book of Revelation that is among the many Oxyrhynchus Papyri currently being translated has the number at 616 . Oops.”

JJ: It is interesting that either 616 or 666 would be appropriate numbers for the beast. Today a reader quoted a previous writing of mine on the 666 which read:

“Thus we finally arrive at the core meaning of the number of the Beast, the 666. In plain English it stands for the control through the Sixth Ray Solar Plexus Center over the three basic worlds of livingness for mankind. Control over The Physical (first 6) Control over the Emotional (second 6) and control over the Mental by negation (the third 6. All three of these parts of our nature have been controlled in most of us by the Sixth Ray of idealism by the Beast.”

On the other hand, 616 is also quite fitting. 6+1+6 = 13, the number of a witches’ coven and also the number of the twelve apostles plus Jesus.

But, after the resurrection there remained only the twelve apostles guided by the invisible Christ. Then, after the church became corrupted with the authority of the beast the 13th member, the invisible Christ, manifested as a visible anti-Christ, an infallible church leader representing the unearned authority of the beast.

This has been the case now for almost 2000 years. Most churches are lead by a powerful person representing the authority of the voice of God which is really “he who, as God, sits in the temple of God and shows himself to be God.”

6+1+6 would have a similar meaning as mentioned in the above quote with the emotional self being governed by the will instead of feeling. The beast distorts the will of God to the will of man substituting for the divine will.

Either one of these numbers is fitting for the beast and it is quite possible they were used interchangeably.

War is the continuation of politics by other means. General Karl Von Clausewitz, Book: “On War”

The Life of the Soul

The Life of the Soul

Question: In the case of Terri Shiavo who has been in a comma, when does the soul leave the body in a situation like this. Is it when she dies?

A person has two connective links between the life force and the body. The first is a link to the heart center and the second is to the head. During waking hours, both are active, but during sleep the mental self leaves the body and the astral and etheric vehicles remain connected through the heart.

When a person is in a comma, or a vegetative state, he is in a state similar to sleep. The mental self is away functioning on higher realms but his heart link remains.

In Terri Shaivo’s case (assuming she was in a vegetative state) the most likely scenario is this.

While she was incapacitated her mental self was off to higher realms, but her feeling nature was in a dream state, but suffering little from her physical problems. At death her mental body merged with her astral body. This would have taken her a period of adjustment in the other world since they were both separated for so long. After the adjustment is made she then moves on to her rest.

Question: Is the soul trapped in the body so it can’t communicate until it dies?

The soul is never trapped. Even in a comma the entity functions as an arm of the soul on higher levels. Soul energy is fed into a person in a comma to keep him alive, but the soul consciousness is elsewhere.

Question: What causes a person’s brain to be retarded at birth?

I assume you want to know the spiritual cause here. There are a number of reasons. Here are some.

[1] The person has some karma that will force him to learn lessons associated with the handicap. It could be related to the need for humility, empathy, patience or some other needed virtue.

[2] The person is not a very developed soul and the situation is what his consciousness needs.

[3] There are some just plain accidents of nature not associated with individual karma that we just have to live with.

Because every physical malady has several possible causes it is important we refrain from judgement regarding a person’s past sins.

Question: What does the future hold for those who suffered great physical disadvantages?

When we undergo a life of limitation or suffering and we handle it with grace we will be given a much stronger advantage in the next life than would normally occur.

When Christopher Reeve is reborn in a healthy body, he will most likely be quite the extrovert and thrilled with every breath he takes.

Terri Shiavo may be the opposite in some ways because her consciousness was effected. She is likely to be very quiet and reflective, but also very thankful for her well being.

Question: When the Molecular Relationship is eventually established, wouldn’t those within that relationship/group agree 100% with your teachings etc, because of a definite Soul Contact and Oneness Principle perception and agreement via the Soul, and hence would assist the entire molecular structure?

JJ: Let us assume that we have a successful Molecule where the group share soul energy to the extent that spiritual flow is unhindered. Does everyone agree 100%?

The agreement necessary for the group will be concerning the purpose and direction of the group. Each individual will maintain his own opinions and biases, but when it comes to decisions that move the group forward agreement will be essential to maintain the spiritual flow.

Let us suppose that Jim believes there is life on Mars and Russ does not. For the purpose of the Molecule it doesn’t matter who is right and there is no great need to seek unity on this.

On the other hand, if there was a division on the understanding of the purpose of the Molecule, or some plan of action, this could lead to a restriction to the spiritual flow and something such as this should be resolved by seeking soul contact as a group to confirm the truth of the matter. It is easier to do this in person than over the internet.

The Sixth Seal

The Sixth Seal

The next text to examine is:

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” Rev 6:12-14

At the sixth seal the ajna center is open and active. This is the center between the eyebrows often called the third eye. This correlates to the point in the Spiritual Triad called Buddhi and is related to the intuition. It is at this point that the disciple becomes a true Seer and sees into the world of ideas and begins to understand the principle of direct knowing, or the Oneness Principle.

As the disciple sees directly into the world of knowing, or the understanding of principles he bypasses the power of the beast or the authorities of the world. At this moment there is “a great earthquake.”

The earthquake occurs on two fronts.

(1) As the disciple receives personal revelation the earth is pulled out from under his feet and his old belief system crumbles until it is completely destroyed. After the quake he has to build anew.

(2) All those around him are also shaken. Friends, family, teachers and associates quake before him as he rejects and old ways and beliefs and teaches the new.

“and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair.”

The earth represents the foundation of his belief system and the Sun here was the light that guided him in the past. As the disciple tunes into the Oneness Principle the truth he finds is often completely upside down from that which he previously believed. That which was a light (sun) to him in the past is now darkness, black as sackcloth, and has no further light to offer him.

“and the moon became as blood.”

The moon symbolizes his past emotional support, his enjoyments and his possessions. These were a reflection of the light that guided him in the past. Now that light has failed him, he no longer sees a gentile, soft comforting light reflected by the moon. Blood here symbolizes the life principle expressed as anger. The disciple no longer has comforting emotional support but encounters anger at every turn because of his new vision. Friends and family feel betrayed because he is no longer one of them, his past enjoyments lose their luster and he will often lose all or a good portion of his possessions.

“And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.”

The earth, the moon and the sun all move, but the stars are fixed in their position and never seem to move out of their course. The stars symbolize those things in the disciple’s belief system that he thought were extremely secure and could be depended on 100%. Now the disciple has penetrated the Buddhic world of knowing even these secure stars seem to be falling to the ground, and not just one or two, but as figs falling from a tree in a wind.

The disciple’s view of God, Christ, prophets, the universe, creation all fall and he discovers that before his eyes were opened he really knew nothing. He starts anew and discovers a new heaven and new earth, one closer to reality.

“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”

The stars fall and as they are removed from their place it appears that heaven is rolled up. A new heaven is revealed. This is new knowledge, a direct knowing through the Oneness Principle. Mountains and Islands  symbolize kingdoms, governments, belief systems which separate us. As the disciple moves into the understanding of the Oneness Principle all separation is moved out of its place and replaced by a knowing of oneness of all life and the brotherhood of man.

Next we read:

“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Rev 6:15-17

Notice who wanted to hide themselves. The scripture starts out by naming the important people of the earth, the kings, great men, rich men, chief captains and mighty men.

When an inspired idea or thought is revealed from the opening of the sixth seal the powerful are the ones who are most alarmed when it is introduced to the public consciousness.

But then the verse throws in every man who is bond and free which would include the general population. When the leaders of the people become alarmed then the rank and file soon follow suit. Those affected would be the vast majority, and they are afraid, but of what?

What have they witnessed? They have seen one of their own reject the orthodox way of things and have seen his belief system completely altered and replaced by one that is blasphemous and sacrilegious. If accepted it will shatter the foundations of their own beliefs.

An example in history would be when Galileo invented the telescope and discovered that the earth is not the center of the universe. All the great and mighty men became alarmed and soon the rank and file joined in.

These fearful ones are not limited to the religious people but those in all walks of life are affected. For instance, when Velikosky presented his views of worlds in collision almost every scientist who examined his work became alarmed and fought against him being able to publish his work.

And today, if a scientist presents an alternative to the orthodox Big Bang theory or most anything Einstein taught, he is attacked.

The scripture says these men are hiding. What are they hiding from? They are not hiding from the disciple but from the word of truth, or the revelation through the Christ (soul) energies he represents.

They attacked Galileo, but they hid from the truth he revealed. It terrified them to think it could ever be accepted.

Where did they hide?

In the dens (caves) and under the rocks of the mountains.

A cave is a symbol of consciousness and a mountain is a symbol of a government, church or belief system.

Those presented with a truth so powerful that it causes their fixed stars (beliefs) to fall will hide from facing that truth by retreating into a state of consciousness (caves) that does not accept new truth. They will then reinforce this “protection” from truth by calling on the authority of their church, government or organization to shield or cushion them from the revelation. They will hide, or identify with the system to delay facing the truth.

Then what happens? They try to hide, but the truth just does not go away. The idea that the earth is not the center of the universe continues to spread and keeps coming back to haunt those who hide. So, do they come out of hiding and examine the facts and see where they lead? Not hardly. Instead, they cry:

“And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:”

They appeal to the authorities: “Protect us from this blasphemer. Lock him up, burn him at the stake, banish all those bearing the truth. Save us from having to face it.”

What wrath are they afraid of?

If the common people see their leaders were wrong and those, they persecuted are correct, then the followers will be angry with such leaders for misleading them.

But then time passes and the world sees that the earth does indeed circle around the sun and there are other planets even larger than the earth. The day of reckoning finally comes and the truth must be faced. The powerful then exclaim:

“For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

Who shall be able to stand against a truth revealed and seen in the light of Christ or the soul?

No one.

The Fifth Seal

The Fifth Seal

Let us examine the fifth seal:

“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Rev 6:9-11

There are several important points to consider here. First note that the disciple was led to the opening of the first four seals by four beasts who kept saying, “come and see.” This time the pilgrim did not need to follow a beast but came to the opening of the seal through his own initiative.

What does this tell us?

It tells us that this disciple has finally taken steps to free himself from the mark of the beast and is no longer dependent on the lower quaternary. Instead, he now has obtained a degree of soul contact and has power to initiate on his own without being told what to do from the outside. His consciousness has now ascended to the Spiritual Triad of Atma (higher self) Buddhi (inspiration) Manas (higher mind). These are also represented by the heart, ajna (center between the eyes) and crown centers.

This fifth seal corresponds to the heart center as well as the higher mind. But wouldn’t the higher mind be represented by a head center instead? It may work through all the head centers to a degree but it is mainly centered in the heart. What many students forget about the heart is that it releases two main energies, which is love and wisdom. The wisdom aspect of the heart is particularly related to the higher mind, but love and wisdom are both very dependent on each other.

Even the Bible correlates mind and heart by the great statement: “As a man thinketh within his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7

When the disciple learns to think within his heart he opens the higher mind, and fifth seal, which leads to understanding of higher spiritual (unselfish) love and the gaining of true wisdom not dependent on any of the authorities of the world.

There is an important point to realize here. Each seal that was opened so far was accompanied with much difficulty, pain and tension and this one is no different. In fact, the degree of difficulty increases as we move forward. The only advantage the disciple has is he becomes stronger as he progresses. He thus has more power to confront that which he has never faced up to before.

Instead of the energy of Love-Wisdom bringing him peace and security we are told that when the fifth seal opens, he sees, “under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.”

When the fifth seal is open the higher mind, tempered by love-wisdom, realizes that those who have gone before him on the path have sacrificed the lower self and have either given their lives through dedication to service or even to the physical loss of life if necessary. He now sees that to open the fifth seal he must also sacrifice his lower desires and willingly give himself as a sacrifice under the alter of God. His life will be changed forever and there will be no turning back. The Word of the Living God within him slays the dominance of the beast that has served him so long.

The next verse reads:

“And they (the sacrificed lives) cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”

Even though the disciple has reached a point where the higher nature dominates by placing the lower nature under the alter of God, or spirit dominating matter, the lower nature is still alive and well. Even the most spiritual of men and women feel the powerful pull of lower desire.

Eventually, even the saint hears the call of the lower self saying with a “loud voice” something like this: “Your following God has forced me into submission and sacrificed the life I once had. Let Spirit yield to me one more time and I will make things right and bring pleasure to the body and mind in my own way.”

After the lower nature loudly speaks the voice of the God within, who is now in control, responds first by giving the lower parts of ourselves “white robes.”

The white robes symbolize harmlessness. The lower nature is reminded that has long as it is under the alter of God it can do no harm and will be unable to distract the disciple from the path.

Finally, the voice of God says the lower nature “should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”

During the transition from the control of the lower nature to the higher is no time to give in to the lower demands of vengeance and self-interest. Instead, the lower is commanded to “rest.” The lower is recognized as still existing and having needs, but now is the time for it to rest and see what the inner God can do.

They are to rest “until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”

Not only are carnal desires sacrificed (killed) to the God within but there are brethren or related desires that may seem altruistic and of a higher nature that also have to be sacrificed. As the disciple opens the higher seals, he finds flaws in his higher and spiritual desires that must also be killed and replaced as be moves along the path.

When all wrong desire, both spiritual and carnal, are killed and placed under the alter of God then all the seals will be open and even the lower nature will see the wisdom of being subjected to the higher. At this point the lower will cease to rest and be able to express itself again, but because the higher and lower have merged, the lower no longer seeks for vengeance and carnal desire, but to be a mouthpiece and servant of the whole body of God.

Question: If an individual opens a seal in one lifetime does it automatically remain open in the next…or does one need to open the “lower” 4 seals during past incarnations and before continuing to work on the 5th he must remember and assimilate all that has been learned to be able to move in the spirit and thus work to open the 5th and so on??

Does one have to open all 7 seals anew in the same lifetime to achieve Jesus’s perfection or ascension? Is their carry over?

JJ: In each life must demonstrate mastery of all we have learned in past lives that we will need in the current one. It’s a little like taking a refresher course and usually not nearly as painful as the original lesson.

When the adversary tempted Jesus in the wilderness he was being tempted with material he had already mastered, but the experience merely served to reinforce that which he has already learned.

Many of us have opened some of the seals, but there will come a life where each of us will follow in the footsteps of the Master and open them all in one lifetime. When this time comes then the four beasts, the 24 elders and millions of angels within will rejoice and sing praises to heaven and earth.

The inner joy will be beyond description.

In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth. Mahatma Gandhi (1869 – 1948)

The Black and Pale Horses

The Black and Pale Horses

Here are the next verses under consideration:

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” Rev 6:5-6

Many thought the second horse represented emotions because it was red, but if this third horse corresponds to the third part of the lower quaternary, then this horse corresponds to the emotional part of ourselves as well as the third chakra.

Allow me to add a little more background before I elaborate.

The third beast had a face like a man.

“Penny” comes from the Greek DENARIUS and “measure” comes from CHOINIX which is about two pints. A Denarius was the average wage for a man at that day and a CHOINIX was just enough to eat to survive the day.

The black horse represents famine to the extent that a man has to work a whole day for enough to feed himself with none left over for his family. He could eat the less desirable barley though and get three times the amount weight, enough to feed a small family.

In Biblical days when food was scarce it was measured out with balances.

The rider on the black horse does not hurt the oil or wine though. There is enough of that to go around, but it is not very life sustaining.

The orthodox explanation is that we will have a great famine before the Second Coming of Christ, and of course, that is possible, but we are not orthodox here are we?

What happens at the third seal? A beast who has a face as a man calls us to come and see. Why is this the beast for this seal?

Because this seal signifies the emotional world and nothing represents the current condition of humanity (face of a man) more than the world of feeling. It is when we learn to feel and relate with feeling that our real humanity begins to develop. As we develop emotionally we develop high ideals and expect that one day everything will fall into place and we will live in emotional bliss forever.

But then we have bad news. A black horse comes forth and the rider has a pair of balances in his hand amidst a voice saying: “A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

Such scarcity is coming that the disciple will have to measure out the grains of wheat with a scale, but there will be an abundance of oil and wine if you do not “hurt” it.

What does it all mean in the life of one who walks the same path as Christ did before us?

At the first seal the disciple decides to become self-reliant and basically exclaims “I will be that which I decide to be.”

At the second seal he encounters turbulence, persecution and friction and must find the eye of the hurricane.

At the third seal he, at first, feels he has reached a dead end. He has tried to follow the path of Christ and what has it got him? Instead of happiness he has encountered an emotional famine. He has lost friends who used to give him emotional warmth and support. His spouse and family desert him. Activities that used to give him enjoyment seem a distant memory for he has little time for them or has lost interest.

On top of all this he suffers financially. He has had so much attention on following the path of spirit that he can barely feed himself (a measure of wheat for a penny). If he pulls attention from the path and focuses on mammon he can at least have enough to eat (three measures of barley).

For many years the disciple suffers the famine until he hears the solution: “See thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

Yes, even in famine oil and wine are available. The oil represents the call to do the works of Christ and the wine represents the spirit and soul energy which will fill him when he does such works.

For a long time the disciple has been downcast and rejected but in this rejection he must not hurt himself, his spiritual standing or his sacred honor. Now he can go forth in the midst of emotional famine to do great works which will stand the test of time because he has continued to follow the highest he knew.

As he does the works of a Christ he finds the memory of any famine fades away. The sorrow he felt in the emotional body is replaced by a fullness of joy in the spirit. During the famine he sometimes wished he could go back in time and keep his emotional attachments but now there is no turning back for his desires are only to go forward.

He becomes a true servant in the vineyard of the Master.

Let us go to the next seal:

“And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.” Rev 6:7-8

The fourth beast was like a flying eagle and, represents the sign of Scorpio, the fourth sign of the fixed cross. This is the beast that guides us to the opening of the fourth seal.

This represents a significant place on the path for several reasons. One is that this is the last of the beasts that guide us to the opening of the seals. After this, the disciple does not depend on his lower nature for direction and the last three seals are opened without the assistance or presence of the beasts.

The fact that this beast is described as a flying eagle is significant. This beasts’ native home is the air and the air is the symbol of mind. This makes sense since the fourth part of the lower quaternary is the concrete, or lower part of the mind.

Now Scorpio is a water sign which tells us the emotional nature still has a strong hold on the disciple, but the fact that the beast flies in the air of mind tells us that this seal represents a transition from emotional dominance to mental.

Scorpio has also been associated with death and hell which is released in this seal. Unfortunately, this sign has received a bad rap because of its association with negative events. This is because many do not understand the core meaning behind the lesson of this sign.

In Scorpio the disciple must learn to accept that which he cannot change and move on with life. The main event that he cannot change is death. Other unchangeable events are divorce, separation, many diseases, accidents, taxes etc.

All of us, sooner or later, have these Scorpio type of events come into our lives, but it is not until the pilgrim has opened the fourth seal does he become master over them instead of the events mastering him.

And how does the one on the path of Christ master such unfortunate events? As the philosopher recommends, he learns to “accept that which he cannot change.”

If a loved one dies, the one who has not opened the fourth seal will weep and wail and not accept the event, but be negatively affected for months or years afterwards.

He who has opened the fourth seal will accept whatever comes, even death of one who is greatly loved. Such acceptance must be cultivated by the disciple if he is to become as his Master.

Christ was a great example of accepting direction from higher will, but just before the crucifixion even he hesitated and pleaded, “If it be possible please remove this cup.” But then when he realized there was no changing the upcoming events he submitted.

This is what we must do. When we see the path to the future is impossible to change we must accept and make the best of it.

When the seal was open John saw “a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.”

The pale horse represents sickness and terror, and was followed by death and hell. In other words, as the disciple progresses to his next major lesson the tools used to teach him are his own great fears. Major fears are sickness, death and hell. Many can understand fearing sickness and death, but how about hell?

For those who believe in God and have been subject to a religious view, hell can be the most terrifying of them all.

Why?

Because it is supposed to be endless torment and no single event occurring on the earth can beat that. To accept God as a being that will not send you to hell is a major step to be taken on the path.

This path of acceptance can only be achieved by learning to center in the mind, away from all the emotional turmoil that Scorpio events cause.

In the stillness of mind, then, the disciple contemplates, reasons and finally accepts that which he cannot change and moves ahead.

The scripture ends with: “And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

At any given time about a fourth of the people of the earth are facing the tests of Scorpio and are having difficulty accepting death through wars (kill with sword) with starvation (hunger), or with the rule of tyrants (the beasts of the earth.)

The lessons of the fourth seal are certainly no picnic, but the disciple does not learn his great lessons through the easy life, but in difficulty.

But the key to minimizing these difficulties coming into one’s life is to learn the key of acceptance. When the disciple accepts those things he cannot change then death and hell lose their sting and it seems that the number of calamities are greatly reduced so he can move on to higher lessons.

Start every day with a smile and get it over with. W. C. Fields

The Red Horse

The Red Horse

As we continue in the interpretation of Revelation, let me remind you that there are several ways to approach this.

The first and most obvious is to apply it to the physical world. The problem with this is that anyone who has done this for the past 2000 years has been close to 100% wrong. What must be realized is that the unfolding of physical events is not 100% predictable by anyone, God or man. The reason for this is free will. As long as there is true free will all the details in time between the beginning and end of a cycle will not be fully known.

On the other hand, the cycles themselves can be ascertained and predicted with a fair degree of accuracy because there is a true principle behind the old adage that “history repeats itself.”

Let me rephrase that. “History repeats itself with a twist.”

Our approach to interpreting this book follows the guideline set forth by the book itself where at the beginning it tells us that it is the “unveiling of Jesus Christ.”

Therefore, we take this approach; that the Book of Revelation provides keys that reveal to us how to unveil the Christ in us, but if external interpretations enhance the meaning, we may also mention them

Now let us look at the second seal.

“And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” Rev 6:4

We are told the second beast that was like a calf and tells us to come and see. “And there went out another horse that was red…”

The key to understanding this is to apply the second part in the lower quaternary which is: “Prana, the Life Principle or vital energy.”

What does this have to do with the color red?

It is interesting to note that many times in the Old Testament we find this phrase: “The life is in the blood.” Arit said it well: “Life is in the blood and blood is red hence the Life Principle or vital energy is red.”

Since a horse signifies concrete intelligence then a red horse signifies intelligence working through the life principle.

It is interesting that the beast that was like a calf took us to the second seal. The blood of the calf was offered as an offering for sin in the days of Moses making the calf a symbol of the sacrifice of Christ.

Next we read: “and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”

Now this doesn’t sound like it could have much to do with the unveiling of Christ. It sounds on the surface more like a militant anti-Christ, doesn’t it?

Look again.

What was it that gave life and vital energy to the Christian church?

It was the blood of Christ. The Christian message was that we are “saved by the blood of Christ.”

And what was the result of this message? Peace was taken from the earth. Believers took a great sword and went forth in the crusades and later to the American continent against the natives to kill and to conquer for the blood of Christ.

What does this have to do with something that should be positive which is the Christ manifesting through our life energy?

The answer is this. Whenever a great light is manifest that which follows is not peace, but a sword. First, people resist the message and persecute those who give it. Then, after the message becomes mainstream, one version fights against another.

It is indeed ironical that when a great person cones to earth with a message of light that the time between the beginning of the message and the final understanding is filled with violence and a sword instead of peace.

Abraham Lincoln is a great example of this. In the great Lincoln-Douglas debates he taught that a house divided cannot stand, that we cannot have a nation half slave and half free.

This stance immediately created great enemies for him which grew in power to the extent the South seceded from the union after his election and the greatest civil war of all time began.

Any messenger of Christ strikes at the heart of the life energy and causes a reaction from the greatest impulse of all which is self-preservation. This impulse to save our own lives not only applies to the physical body, but also to our belief systems and to preserve ourselves, human beings will go so far as to take peace from the earth and kill one another.

When the second seal is thus opened within the disciple his higher vibration will threaten the life principle in those around him and instead of peace there will be the sword of discontent and those effected will kill one another in a number of ways. Fortunately, in this age physical harm to another is discouraged by the law and the attempt to kill takes place on other levels.

People attempt to kill out the belief systems of others.

People attempt to kill others spiritually by the use of fear in condemning them to hell because their message is unorthodox.

People attempt to kill original thought that disagrees with their own.

Let therefore the disciple be prepared and strengthened when he opens the second seal for great courage will be required. Instead of feel-good warm and fuzzy vibrations he will face friction, resistance and hate. Thus does the Prince of Peace enter the storm at the opening of the second seal.

The First Seal and Monads

The First Seal and Monads

Chapter six gives us the introduction to the famous four horses of the Apocalypse. To give an overview it might be helpful to give the first eight verses describing all four horses and the opening of the first four seals. Then we shall interpret them one at a time.

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

“And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

“And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the Beasts of the earth.” Rev 6:1-8

After studying the above the next step is to hone in on the first seal: “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” Rev 6:1-2

The Lamb, or the Christ consciousness in matter opens the seals, but to understand this we must remember that Christ descended below all things that he may ascend above all things (See Eph 4:9-10). The Christ in us thus descends below all things and manifests in ways that may not seem so Christlike. Until all seven seals are open the Christ within does not manifest as perfection, but as an energy making the best of a limited situation.

The four horses are closely aligned with what DK calls the “lower quaternary,” which in turned is aligned with the energies of the lower centers.

The lower Quaternary consists of:

  1. The lower mind.
  2. The Emotional or kamic body.
  3. Prana, the Life Principle or vital energy. 4. The etheric double of the physical body, or the highest division of the twofold physical body.

A key to understanding this section is that that a horse represents the intellect manifesting through the lower nature of the lower quaternary.

Now many read in Revelations, chapter nineteen, where Christ appears on a white horse and assume the white horse mentioned here also represents him, but the reader must realize that there is an important difference. This later passage reads: “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war… and on his head were many crowns” Rev 19:;11-12

Of significance is the riders of both horses had crowns, but the two come from different Greek words. The rider of the first horse was given a crown. This word comes from STEPHANQS which is a crown of victory as in battle. The second comes from DIADEMA which is a royal crown belonging to a king or royalty.

The rider of the first horse had not yet won his kingdom while the second one was a king who has mastered the seven seals.

The first horse represents the etheric/physical body and the world that imprisons the Christ consciousness. When Christ descended below all things the lowest point reached was this physical world in a physical body. It is in this body that he must awaken. The Lamb, or the Christ principle, breaks loose at its lowest point, and the seeker is awakened as if by thunder and hears the voice of the first beast.

In John’s time a commander who had won a battle paraded through his conquered enemies on a white horse. The white horse here is a symbol of the power latent within each of us to overcome all physical obstacles that prevent us from achieving our desires.

The first beast was like a lion, or Leo. In this context it represents self interest, self fulfillment and self gratification. This is the point in the life of the soul reached by Vivien Leigh in Gone With The Wind, when she looked to heaven and cried out that she would never be poor again. She realized that if she didn’t take care of herself no one would and that was just what she was going to do.

This point is also represented by the down and out person who looks upward and says “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more.”

This is the point reached by Arjuna when he finally accepts the command of Krishna to go to battle and obtain the crown of glory.

The interesting this is that descent into selfishness is not usually associated with Christ, but what few realize is that such a descent is absolutely necessary as a major first step toward manifesting the final relative perfection.

When this first seal is broken and the pilgrim makes the major decision to no longer be a doormat, but instead one who takes charge. He is given a bow and a crown (STEPHANQS). The bow represents the great power that comes with the seeker taking personal responsibility for his happiness and destiny and the crown represents the natural authority that others see in him when he takes charge of his life. His associates begin to look to him for leadership as if a crown of authority rested upon him.

With this bow and crown he then goes “forth conquering, and to conquer.”

He sees and understands the physical world and this is his battlefield. He fights with great power and authority and obtains all the desires of his heart in physical wealth and comfort. The whole world seems to be his servant.

Question: Can you give us more details about our descent from God and Oneness?

What we think of as the beginning really happened outside of time and space where there is no past and no beginnings. When something is created there it is in the now and is as if it always existed and will always exist. Thus when God ref;.dected Itself to infinity all the points or monads were eternal.

Then many monads (called Sons of God in some writings) reflected themselves downwards into causal bodies, called souls. These are the Higher Selves of humans on the earth.  These in turn reflected themselves toward material creation with all the diversity of lives. In the lower kingdoms souls could experience many lives that eventually join representing a single reflection of the soul – the human being.

The human being corresponds on a higher level to the atom which is on the lower. The first among us was even called “Adam” which sounds very much like “atom.”

Just as the atom is a foundation building block for higher forms so is the human on a higher level. But the key of knowledge is this: When the higher forms are built, the individual atom can identity with the higher and live in consciousness as if it were the higher life. But it can always revert (of “fall”) back to individuality.

When two atoms of hydrogen unite with one of oxygen they become water. In this higher form each hydrogen atom no longer sees itself as hydrogen but water instead. Still it can separate and revert back to the single element, hydrogen.

Notice that the word for God in the Hebrew is Elohim which really means “Gods,” plural. This is because you cannot be a god by yourself, but it must be accomplished by a group consciousness. A human becomes a god the same way that hydrogen becomes water. He identifies with the new life, yet the possibility of reverting to the single form is always present.

A reader asks where I get my authority to teach and interpret scripture.

As far as my authority goes, I claim no authority. This leaves all free to accept or reject anything I write without fear of going against God, a Master or some divine being. There’re no Kool Aide drinkers in this group.

On the other hand, if your own soul verifies something I say then you have received a witness from the greatest authority of them all and should pay attention to it.

We cannot learn what we think we already know. RJ Spina

Evolution and Reincarnation

Evolution and Reincarnation

Question: Is it a possibility that we progressed thru the animal kingdom first before becoming primitive man?

JJ: Yes, but the journey was different than is commonly supposed.

Every particle in the universe, from subatomic particles on up has consciousness, or life on some level. As evolution proceeded from the small to the great the smaller lives join to produce greater lives. Electrons, protons and neutrons join to create atoms. Atoms join to create molecules and molecules join to create cells. Then cells evolve and join to create greater lives.

Now the atoms do not evolve into a cell, but a combination of atoms create a cell but still maintain their individual identities.

As the tiny lives evolve from plant to animal to human we have this same principle occurring where smaller lives merge to create greater ones until we come to the human being. The vehicle he uses for expression is created from the mineral (bones, teeth) the plant (hair, nails) and an animal related body. It took the consciousness of many minerals, plants and a number of animals to finally create all the ingredients necessary to draw down a human consciousness.

In my book The Molecular Relationship I explain how Jesus took this a step further and created a greater vehicle still of twelve human units, or a human molecule which manifested a greater life than human.

Now the interesting part is you, as a human monad or intelligence, existed in the mind of God from eternity, but did not incarnate as intelligent life until all the ingredients were gathered to prepare a suitable vehicle for you. You therefore were not directly a plant or an animal, but a gathering together of the essence of lower lives made your expression possible.

There are billions of lower lives within you, not only physically, but spiritually and you are a god to this universe within. These lower lives look toward you as a higher consciousness and seek to be one with you so they can experience through you and share in the human experience.

We in turn will create greater vehicles and discover a more perfect oneness with God by sharing in the larger group lives which will be manifest.

Question: What is your response to those who think hypnotic regression causes false memories of past lives or even demonic possession?

JJ: Hypnosis and past life regression does bring forth some false past lives, but also some real ones. Some of the real ones are very convincing.

Here is an excerpt from my book on the subject relating an occurrence when I believed as you do:

“Then one day I had a rather amazing occurrence. I had become acquainted with a newly married couple and when we were having a party I hypnotized the wife while the husband was at the store. I took her back to several previous lives and she described names and dates in great detail. After I brought her back to the present her husband returned and he was completely unaware of anything his wife had said (No he wasn’t listening at the door). He agreed to hypnosis and to my amazement he described two previous lifetimes in exactly the same detail as his wife. His wife had stated her husband’s name in a previous life and he recalled that same name. They were husband and wife in at least two previous lifetimes. Their stories coincided exactly.”

Demons are always good to blame when nothing else gives a good explanation. Some think the devil planted dinosaur bones also.

When you take a person back to a real past life you can wait five years and take him back again and he can go to the same life and give the same details. I do not think the demons have a good enough memory to do this in every case.

Another thing is the emotional factor. When people are fully regressed they will often experience intense emotions that are obviously their own and not that of another entity.

Here’s another thing to think on. Many children under eight have been found who have a recollection of past lives with no regression. Dr. Ian Stevenson has found many of these and taken them to the actual place of their previous lives and they have identified objects previously owned.

Now the interesting thing is Joseph Smith taught that the devil cannot influence children under eight. If you believe this then demons are eliminated from this equation.

In addition, here is some hard physical evidence from my book:

Stevenson discovered that if one has a wound, particularly one that caused death, such as a gunshot, that the person will often have a birthmark in the exact placed where the wound was in a past life. What is even more fascinating is that if the person received a bullet wound which penetrated the body and left an exit hole that the entity will have a birthmark at both the point of entrance and exit.

Even more interesting is that the exit wound is larger than the entrance, and when the corresponding birthmarks are examined, he found that the birthmark at the location of the exit wound was also much bigger.

Dr. Stevenson examined 895 children, who remembered past lives, for birthmarks, corresponding to wounds and found related birthmarks on 309 of them or 35%.

The chances of this happening are very miniscule. The average adult has about 17 square feet of skin stretching over his body. That is 2448 square inches. Now the chances of finding a birthmark on the same square inch of the body in a current life as a wound in a past life is 2448:1. The chances of finding a birthmark on the same square inch of both an exit and entrance wound is much greater: 5,992,704 to one, yet Stevenson turned up this startling evidence time and time again.

Question: How is it fair to be punished for a sin in a past life when one cannot even remember the cause of the suffering?

JJ: First consider the alternative, that there is only one life and the person gets an incurable disease, especially as a child and never gets to have experience as an adult in mortality for all eternity. Where’s the fairness in that?

In fact it is so unfair that even the religious people of our day are proclaiming “life is unfair.”

Indeed, if there were only one life then it would be unfair.

But if life is not fair that would make God unfair, wouldn’t it?

God is not unfair and that is why we have multiple lives until each of us fulfill all our desires related to mortal life.

Within one life there is much payback for mistakes, but even with a conscious memory the person usually does not realize this. Even if he does not remember the cause of his problems, he will learn the needed lessons by going through them.

Karma brings us into situations where we will learn to not make the mistakes again. Rather than suffering Leukemia Stalin would be subject to tyranny for a number of lifetimes until he learned to correct that flaw within himself. Since he killed millions of people to redeem himself he would have to eventually save millions of people through being a good and wise leader. This is assuming he could still turn around and follow the path of light.

Question: If all life is one then how can we incarnate as separate individuals?

JJ: We are all parts of a greater whole. We never lose our individuality. Anyone who teaches otherwise lacks understanding. The oneness we seek comes from cooperation in group life as a cell in the body of God. That cell which is us has no beginning and will have no end. The forms it may use will have a beginning and end however. In the end we all identify with the One Great Life we call God.

Nothing fails like success. Gerald Nachman
