The Glory of God and Christ

The Glory of God and Christ

Continuing with the unveiling of the Revelation of John.

“And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.” Rev 5:11

The number of angels were 10,000 X 10,000 plus a few extra million which equals over 100 million. In the mind of someone who lived in that time period this number probably seemed larger than all the people who ever lived.

That’s quite a number especially for 2000 years ago when they did not think in the large numbers that we do today.

Now, how do we interpret this as it applies to the inner Christ manifesting in the individual?

When one becomes one with the God within and realizes the fullness of the Christ consciousness by opening the seven seals he establishes a great foothold within the consciousness of humanity and his impact or the impact of his group becomes great. It is so great that over 100 million people will see that God has manifested in him and these will bow before the throne of God in thankfulness and acknowledge Christ or God has done a great work through him.

Now, he may not receive recognition from the 100 million or more in his lifetime, but over a period of time this will happen.

This certainly happened with Jesus, the greatest example of the Christ principle, for he has received recognition from billions rather than millions. Other Christed ones may not receive recognition from so great of numbers, but it will generally be over 100 million if one considers the group of which he is a part..

Now many of us unlock part of the book and manifest part of the Christ consciousness, but the fullness does not come until we approach the end of the wheel of rebirth. The average seeker does not have a fullness yet but he senses the Christ consciousness and if he continues in his quest the opening of the seven seals will definitely come for him.

“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Rev 5:12

He who pursues the fullness of Christ will sacrifice all the desires of the lower self to accomplish a great work in the service of humanity. For doing so he will receive the following:

(1) Power. This may not be power as is recognized by the world, but a spiritual power will manifest through him as well as power to accomplish a great service to the world.

In addition, the many seekers who have not yet received a fullness will receive a taste of the spiritual power and the desire to serve that will lead to a fullness.

(2) Riches. The outer riches he will receive will depend on the situation in which he finds himself, but the inner riches will bring greater wealth and satisfaction than possessed by the greatest monarch. He will receive peace and inner joy, which he would not trade for all the money in the world.

(3) Wisdom. We could say that this is one of the riches of the Christ consciousness which has broken the seals. Such a seeker has learned much through trial and error and correcting his mistakes over hundreds of lifetimes. He is one with the mind of God and shares in the wisdom of God.

(4) Strength. When one achieves power, riches and wisdom he then has a natural strength that will be apparent to the angels (seekers) who surround him.

(5) Honour. “To thine own self be true” is the motto of the Christed one and because he is true to himself, his friends and his brethren he will be honored by them.

(6) Glory. He will not seek glory for himself, but glory will naturally follow because he brings glory to God and does a glorious work for humanity.

(7) Blessing. He is blessed because he blesses the world. He gives his all and blessings and thankfulness returns many-fold.

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Rev 5:13

Praise again is given, but this time not just to the Lamb, but to the Lamb and the one who sits on the throne. To understand this, we must recall the great words of Jesus wherein he said:

“The Father and I are one.”

In this verse we see that all life, great and small, praises God, and because he who has the fullness of Christ is one with God they are also praising him. The Christed one feels all life owes its existence to God and joins in feeling the praise flowing toward the Most High.

“And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.” 5:14

Both the higher and lower self as well as other Christed ones know they owe everything to the One Great Life, which is God, and after receiving a fullness of the Christ consciousness they are always mindful of their source and reverence him who lives for ever and ever.

Now we come to the opening of the seals. This reveals to us the great labors the Christed one must accomplish to receive a fullness of the glory of God.

The next scripture reads:

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” Rev 6:1-2

Read, study and contemplate the meaning of the above.
