Obstacles to Spiritual Progress

Obstacles to Spiritual Progress

We asked the group to comment on roadblocks to spiritual progress (in the 20th century) that were the result of black magic.

Several of you correctly identified the big one which was Nazi Germany, definitely an agent of the Black Magicians.

The question to consider is, what were the core differences between the Nazis and the Allies as far as the two paths are concerned?

The core difference is this. The Nazis and those on the dark path seek a return to the glories of the past at the expense of evolution, especially spiritual evolution.

Those cooperating with the white magicians are willing to take that which works from the past but their main point of focus is evolution. On other words, they seek to make the world a better place, better than it has ever been before.

Because the preservation of the past requires a suppression of those who advocate change, the Dark Brothers seek to control individual freedom

Because the creation of a better world requires the freedom to express and implement ideas, the workers in white magic always seek for the greatest personal and group freedom.

Nazi Germany opened an ancient door that could have suppressed many freedoms and set back the progression of humanity a thousand years or more. In fact one reason the Great Invocation was given out was to seal the door to this particular evil.   It reads:

“…and may it (Purpose) seal the door where evil dwells.”

The evil spoken of here is a force which can reverse spiritual evolution and suppress freedom of choice.

Unfortunately, one of the deceptions of the Dark Brothers is to turn reasoning upside down so a diminished freedom is presented as an increase and an increase in freedom is seen as a decrease.

How does this happen? Let me give an example.

A taxing system supported by the majority of the actual taxpayers does not violate the principle of freedom but many nations forces excessive taxation on its citizens going way beyond 50% of income when all hidden taxes are considered.

Few would argue the fact that taxing us at half our income or more diminishes the financial freedom of the working people, yet this over taxation in almost all nations is supported by many. Why?

Because this taking away freedom from one group has the appearance of giving more freedom to another group.

“I get free prescriptions because of taxes,” thinks one, “therefore this particular tax is good because it gives me greater freedom.”

This is a similar reasoning to that used by the thief who may think: “It is good that I take your money because I need it more than you and your money in my hand gives me greater freedom.”

This convoluted reasoning is promoted with great zeal by the dark ones in the hope that the few who benefit will aid then in diminishing the freedom of the whole.

When the freedom of the whole is diminished to a certain point then control by the black magicians is assured.

All who seek the path of light must always consider freedom as it relates to the greatest possible agency manifesting among the greatest possible number of individuals.

For the Brotherhood of Light freedom is more important than safety, a forced good and worth a calculated risk.

The Dark Brothers stress safety, enforcing the good and avoiding all risk. They do this not because they are seeking to be benevolent, but as a deceptive means to further their cause – the destruction of the free agency of all except for the few deserving ones at the top.

Several commented that the black magicians have worked to establish strong authority in the Twentieth Century and others mention the authoritative religious system creating roadblocks. Not only are many religions a tool for preventing spiritual progress, but this unjust authority surfaces in all walks of life. Whenever one authority is diminished in power or destroyed it is replaced by another with a new face.

The white magicians know this and realize that the power of the beast, unjust authority, will not be destroyed in one masterstroke.   They thus seek to gradually strip it of its power by forcing the new generation of unjust authorities to be kinder and gentler than the preceding one until, by the power of attrition, the authority of the black magicians is neutralized.

If one just looks around he will have to agree that there is a lot of work to do in this direction. Even so, we have made progress ij this direction. For instance, authorities in the free world no longer have power to throw rebels to the lions or torture them.

A third avenue of attack which was not mentioned is an attack on our educational system – seeking to dumb down the knowledge current students have of true events of history in particular.

Have you watched talk show hosts take to the streets and ask young people simple questions related to history? These guys are so dense thy couldn’t tell you who was buried in Grant’s tomb.

Not only is the rising generation not learning history, but the little they are taught is distorted, altered and the little that is emphasized is in a direction of questionable value.

Some of the young people (and many older ones) are so brainwashed with illusion that if you attempt to give them correct facts they will become angry and immediately shut down and refuse any type of dialog that will unearth true facts.

The Dark Brothers realize that if the lessons of history are not learned then the mistakes will be repeated. In their mind these flaws must be maintained in order to preserve their power.

When we truly learn the lessons which accurate history teaches us, then darkness is lifted from the earth and that which was dark will be as if it never was, and is not.

Question: “I read this article saying that fish and birds are primitive members of the deva kingdom who will evolve into higher spiritual entities. Is this true?”

The devas do not live in the physical kingdom as fish, birds or anything else, but are entities living in the etheric world. They are builders and movers of force that create the bodies of plants, animals and humans, but are not the actual physical entities.

Djwahl Khul tells us that the etheric matter is the true physical kingdom because it is governed by a principle, but the dense physical is not and its appearance is based on illusion which veils our true substance.

Each living physical body has an etheric double which is the source of energy and also gives form and cohesion to the dense physical.

Whereas the human and animal kingdom accomplish their evolution through the duality of the dense physical and etheric, the deva kingdom evolves through the etheric, not manifesting in the physical.

The devas lives manifest in many grades and most do not have self consciousness the way we do, but progress and work in response to communications from various grades of intelligence which communes with them.

The various grades of deva lives provide the substance and form intelligence behind every living form that appears in the physical. Our physical human bodies (as well as fish, birds and other animals) are composed of an etheric double which is in turn composed of a variety of deva lives. Since the deva kingdom is often called the angel kingdom we could say that you have many little angels creating your etheric composition.

The deva kingdom consists in range from innumerable tiny lives giving form to the physical, to lives great and powerful to the extent that some who have encountered them have considered them Gods.

Each deva life has to eventually enter the dense physical and pass through the human kingdom.

This is a law of evolution in the universe. All those who enter the way of higher evolution must pass through the human kingdom.

The Magician’s Work

The Magician’s Work

I asked the group to name works of both white and black magic that have manifested in the Twentieth Century and received some good response.

I think my favorite on the white magic side was “The Beatles”. Don’t laugh. The Beatles were a part of a wave of change in music that ran from around 1955 to the early seventies.   Never before had the world seen such a change in direction, and improvement of music. During this time many initiates entered this field to create change that would effect the world for the better.

Few realize that the enhancement of our listening pleasure was only one benefit of the musical evolution.

Notice that the great strides forward in music happened in the free countries of the world. The USSR and countries under its dominion had such a tight control over its people that the free countries had a difficult time in communicating to the common people there that we meant them no harm and that freedom and free enterprise does work.

Because of lack of communication the people in the communist countries only seemed to received an impression that we were the bad guys, except in one major area – and that was music. The Soviet youth (and some adults) loved rock and roll and felt a kinship toward the various bands and their fans world wide.

This caused a wedge that opened up enough light so when the youth of the sixties became the authorities of the eighties they were able to let the Berlin Wall come down with little resistance.

I think it is quite possible that without Rock and Roll that communism in the USSR would not have fallen without a fight.

Early communist leaders predicted that the free world would embrace their ideals and fall to them willingly, but it turned out to the other way around. They fell for our music of peace and love and willingly embraced this and other western virtues (and some vices) without a fight.

There’s a lot of truth to the saying that you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Another obvious work of the white Magicians was the defeat of Hitler. The Christ and the Hierarchy of Masters worked directly with Churchill, Roosevelt and others, influencing them through the science of impression.

During this last century many initiates incarnated and as mere mortals used the science of white magic. Some of these were Tesla Edison, Einstein, Bohr and numerous others, some of which never became well known.

All progress in technology is the work of white magic, even though selfish intent can direct new discoveries toward the dark side. Electricity, for instance can be used to kill, or to heal and keep us warm and even meeting here on the internet.

Progress always carries with it a danger because the new power it brings can be used for either good or evil. The white magicians must assist in bringing in the new and then after it is in existence they must encourage the direction of its use to the benefit of the world.

A great number of teachings and philosophical thought that has come forward is the result of the work of the white magicians.

It is true that the larger percentage of the metaphysical books available is not inspired by the Hierarchy, but their shear number does indicate a growing interest in the unseen and the miraculous which is a positive direction.

One very important work of the Brotherhood of Light is the permeation of the idea of the “Christ Consciousness” which lies within all of us. This is also followed by the idea that God, being omnipresent, is actually in us instead of existing apart from us on some throne “out there” somewhere. There are immortal beings which some call Gods, but the One God exists within the heart of each and every person who is a reflection of Deity.

There is one last thing I will mention which is not such an obvious work of the Light.

Have you noticed that within your lifetime that the contrast between what is right, logical and good vs. that which is wrong, illogical and harmful has become much more pronounced?

This contrast was accelerated during World War II. Near the end of the war the whole world saw a contrast between good and evil that was never in our history so obvious. In past centuries, men with evil intent as Hitler were often honored by the masses. After the war the contrast showed the Nazi philosophy for what it was for the first time in the history of the world.

The new world war is being fought on the emotional and mental planers and the white magicians are attempting to illustrate through contrast that which is good and that which is not so good.

For example in America Watergate illustrated the misuse of power whereas many current politicians make it obvious that dishonesty is not to be preferred over telling the truth.

Many events, and their following publication, which bring to us contrast in a way which teaches us simple right and wrong, are influenced in one way or another by the white magicians.

The Religion Factor

The Religion Factor

Earlier I made the point that intolerance of differing religious beliefs has played a “role” in almost every conflict that surfaces on this planet. To this a reader responds:

“Are you seriously claiming that the troubles in Northern Ireland, for instance, are because Catholics are Catholics and Protestants are Protestants?”

Actually, that is about a thousand miles from what I am saying. There are millions of Protestants and Catholics coexisting here in the United States and other countries and they certainly do not go to war with each solely because of religious differences.

BUT…

There is a reason for this.

But first let me comment on the idea that religious belief systems do encompass more than orthodox systems. Basically the point of belief systems that causes the conflict is differing ideas of what is right and what is wrong.

Even though communism is basically atheistic, they have very strong ideas of right and wrong that is pursued with religious fervor and intolerance. This firm belief and intolerance has caused a high percentage of communist nations to be a threat to bordering nations as well as differing belief systems within their borders.

The reason that religion does not cause a major problem within most of the nations of the free world is that rule is established by democratic vote where all religious people have a chance at governing offices. But if we look at the initiating factors of war in our history and the hot spots of the current world situation we will find a common thread.

The common thread is that in almost every case a strong belief system is very dominate in a certain geographical area.

Again if we look at World War II we find that the Nazis had very strong religious type beliefs of what was right and what was wrong and when their domination extended to encompass the whole nation of Germany, they became a major threat to the world.

The other major threat to the free world during the great war was Japan which was dominated by an emperor who the people esteemed to be God in the flesh. It was largely because if the great religious hold that the emperor had on the hearts of the people that they proceeded so aggressively in his name toward world dominion.

I am convinced that if the Axis Powers had won World War II that the next conflict would have been the Nazis against the Japanese.

Why?

Because the religious beliefs of the two groups were both zealous and incompatible.

Now let us look at the problem in Northern Ireland. I lived for two years in Great Britain and talked to thousands of common people about religion so I have a fairly good feel of religious thought there. The dominate church overall is the Church of England, but most of the English do not take religion that seriously. However, the Irish Catholics are another matter. They seem to take their religion much more seriously than American Catholics do and many have great resentment that Ireland is subject to the commonwealth that is overall dominated by the Church of England who they view as an upstart religion. If the Commonwealth were dominated by the Catholic Church I would venture to bet that the conflict in Ireland would not exist.

In other words, if the Irish Catholics felt that they were governed by someone who saw eye to eye with them religiously, there would be peace.

Question: Are you claiming that the problems in the Middle East are because Jews are Jews, and Muslims are Muslims?

Again, it is not because Jews are Jews and Muslims are Muslims per se, but it is because these two religions so dominate the two sides of the equation in their territories making their differences very obvious and so easy to hate.

Here in America the two sects get along fairly well because neither has much power to impose their will upon the other.

The religious ideology of these two groups is obviously a cause of much of the danger that exists, not only for the Middle East, but for the world as a whole.

Many of the Muslim leaders in the Middle East call the United States “the great Satan,” that needs to be utterly destroyed by holy wars. This belief has a purely religious foundation that has been the cause of much terrorism and destruction of U.S. lives and property.

Saddam Hussein during Desert Storm called upon all his neighboring countries “in the name of Allah” to unite with him in defeating the great Satan. He believed he was in an end time “mother of all wars” to destroy his enemies in the name of his God.

Today many of the Palestinians believe that the Jews are out of favor with Allah and believe the only solution is similar to Hitler’s “Final Solution” that they need to be completely eliminated – that Israel as a state should be wiped off the map.

Israel does not want the neighboring nations completely destroyed, but because the Bible declares that God has given them certain lands to hold on to “forever” they will strive until they conquer and hold such lands so God will not be made to appear a liar.

One fortunate event is occurring, however. The younger generation of these religious groups has contact with the outside world to a much greater extent than did their forefathers and they tend to not see so much black and white in their religion. Many of these would accept the Principles of Unification if they had a chance to examine them.

Question: Do you believe that the Spanish conquest was seriously and primarily in order to convert the “heathen” to Christianity, and not because of a pretty naked greed and lust for gold, and land?

As I said, religion played a strong role in all these conflicts. Lust for other people’s property played a part it is true, but lust for English or French property did not make the Spanish so brazen in conquest as they were toward the Native Americans.

The difference in approach was due largely to religious beliefs.

When Cortés and other Conquistadors arrived what struck them even more than the possibility of riches was that the natives were “heathen” and their belief systems were far removed from the teachings of the Bible as they saw it. Even more important to many of them than gold was to make sure that, if these natives did indeed have souls, they then be saved. They therefore forced then to bow to the crucified Christ on the cross or die.

Montezuma’s belief in the coming of his white God Quetzalcoatl caused him to yield his powerful empire to Cortéz and a couple dozen men. This yielding to religious belief by the native Americans made them look like easy pry and thus many other Spaniards were encouraged and came to conquer other lands in the Americas in “the name of Christ.”

The Conquistadors mistreated the American Indians much more than fellow Christian nations because they were not sure if they had souls. Because of this belief they thought nothing of enslaving the native population and killing anyone who may complain.

Question: Do you claim that the conflicts in the Balkans are also due to irreconcilable theological differences between Christians and Muslims?

Yes, I am going to say that. Again we had a predominately Christian group against a predominately Moslem group with religious differences being a prime cause of hatred.

Question: Are the Chinese in Tibet primarily to convert them to their officially atheist ideology??

This, in addition to retrieving ancient territories, was indeed their goal.

After the conquest of Tibet, despite the promise of religious liberties the Chinese forced many Tibetans to deny their faith and killed and tortured many monks and eventually the Dalai Lama had to flee for his life.

Overall 1.2 million Tibetans have died from the Chinese occupation (as of 2001), many from starvation.

One in every ten Tibetans has been imprisoned by the Chinese government for periods up to 10 and 20 years many for religious differences. The use of torture against Tibetan prisoners of conscience is widespread. Women-including nuns-suffer sexual violence and rape.

As a means of further reducing the Tibetan population, Tibetan women are subject to strict birth-control policies, including forced or coerced sterilization and abortions. This reflects a religious type of belief system with the Chinese.

Nearly all of Tibet’s 6,200 monasteries have been looted and destroyed, and most of their irreplaceable religious texts and artworks have been lost.

There is no freedom of speech, press or religion in Tibet. It is illegal even to own a picture of the Dalai Lama. Reading a web page such as this from Tibet could land a person in jail or worse.

To increase the power of indoctrination schools are forbidden to use the Tibetan Language.

A quote from an interview with a Tibetan refugee sums it up: “[The Chinese] distributed land and for many of us it was the first land we had worked for ourselves. Then when our granaries began to fill they taxed and rationed us and nationalized all property. We own nothing now, not even our souls and our dignity.”

An escaped monk tells this story:

A monk named Palden Gyatso spent 31 years under Chinese imprisonment, and finally escaped in mid-1992, had many a story to tell. He spoke of being tortured with electric batons. About the size of a collapsible umbrella, an electric baton has a button on the handle where the thumb rests. At a touch of this, a 70,000-volt-shock is released through two prongs at the nozzle of the baton, fashioned so that it can be inserted in a person’s body. Gyatso, who led a 100-strong force of freedom fighters during the 1959 nationalist uprising in Lhasa, spoke of being prodded with a baton which gave him electric shocks all over his body (Guardian). It was also forced between his clenched teeth, breaking off four of them, then plunged into his throat and the maximum shock applied. This monk also recounted the many times he lay unconscious, covered in vomit and urine. Gyatso also described other instruments of torture used against him. Evidence of thumb links were deep scars on his wrists. These thumb links are sharp-edged handcuffs, which were used to manacle his hands together behind his back, one arm crooked over his shoulder, the other pushed up in a half-nelson. As the time of his escape came near, Gyatso became increasingly obsessed that no one would know what had happened to him and thousands of others, and even more importantly, that no one would believe him. Therefore, with the small amount of funds he accrued from his jobs at prison labor camps, he bribed Chinese guards into selling him some electric batons and thumb links. With these possessions in hand, this man, who had trained for a life of prayer and now sees his only purpose as a witness of Chinese barbarity, made a daring flee to India. Since then he has enlightened international leaders and the general public as to the blatant human rights violations against Tibetans.

Try and tell this monk that religious differences did not cause his people pain and suffering.

Differing religions and philosophical beliefs can coexist peacefully as long as there is understanding and equal opportunity for all. But when one line of thought dominates at the exclusion of others then any opposing belief is in danger of persecution. – because it is the nature and disposition of almost all leaders to misuse authority and power.

There is hope in creating a more peaceful planet in reminding people of all religions that all men and women are brothers and sisters and that to love one another is much more pleasing to all versions of Deity than hate.

The Principles of Unification

The Principles of Unification

I promised a new insight to the group at this year’s gathering. After I presented it, we had an interesting time discussing it.

Some time ago I was contemplating the evolution of religion and a prophecy by Djwhal Khul that a one world religion would one day evolve on the earth.

When mention is made of a one world religion or a one world government many who are into conspiracy ideas immediate envision terrible organizations which will dictate to us what we must believe, think and do.

We would be like an ostrich burying its head in the sand if we pretend that such a possibility does not exist. On the other hand, we are also denying reality when we reject the idea of social evolution – that humanity is indeed growing toward unification.

The question before us is not whether we shall have a one world religion or a one world government, for nothing can prevent the natural emergence of such organizations.

The real question we must ask is what kind of government and what kind of universal religion can exist and yet not interfere with the personal freedoms of mankind?

The danger is that if we allow all the evolutionary thinking on this subject to be done by those who consciously or unconsciously wish to enslave mankind then the worst possible outcome will materialize.

“Evil prevails when good people do nothing” is a thought we must ever keep in mind.

Therefore, the good and decent people of the earth must use their latent power and actively participate in the next evolutionary step for mankind and not allow their fate to be decreed by the many unjust authorities seeking for authority over their souls.

As I was contemplating the coming changes in religion I received a message confirmed by my soul which went something like this:

“Write the good and true principles that all religions have in common. This shall lay the foundation for the universal church.

I thus created a rough draft and presented it to the group at the gathering. We received some good suggestions and made some minor corrections.

Below are grouped the Sixteen Principles of Unification. If you have any comments, suggestions or corrections please let me know. We seek to have as perfect of a product as possible when we promote it to the masses.

PRINCIPLES OF UNIFICATION

(1) I accept the idea of peaceful co-existence as an ideal for which to strive and realize that the majority of people wish to live in peace despite their differing beliefs.

(2) I acknowledge that there exists a higher intelligence which most of us call GOD by various names.

(3) Even though this Being or Intelligence is called by differing names and descriptions I acknowledge that this same God is over all mankind and that we are children of God and brothers and sisters. Essentially, humanity is one family.

(4) I believe that the will of God would include the best possible outcome for all of humanity. The goal of “Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Humankind” is a goal I embrace.

(5) I embrace the principle of Love and seek to love my neighbor as I do myself. I seek to do unto others, as I would have others do unto me. I seek to serve both God and humanity.

(6) I embrace the Principle of Light in that I seek greater understanding. I realize I have knowledge of some things but do not know all things about either God or man, but seek to know more. I believe that I can progress in knowledge and understanding of spiritual principles. I seek to ever expand my learning. I am open to a fresh outlook when greater light and truth are revealed to me.

(7) I accept the principle of cause and effect and embrace the simple idea as taught in all spiritual movements that good and loving deeds, actions and thoughts will bring good results and harmful actions will bring destructive results. I seek therefore to do good to all mankind that goodwill return to me.

(8) I accept the Principle of Freedom. I allow all people to worship, speak and believe how, where or what they may so long as they comply with the just laws of the land (laws which protect the whole of the people). I do not support imposing my beliefs on others by force.

(9) I accept the principle of communion. Through prayer, thought or contemplation I can gain a greater awareness of God’s Purpose, God’s Will and God’s Love.

(10) I believe that my existence will continue even after the death of the physical body and seek to live mortal life in such a way so the afterlife of myself and others will be a happy experience.

(11) I believe in the Principle of Sharing to assist those less fortunate than myself. I support the elimination of poverty, disease and ignorance from the human condition that all may live abundantly. I realize that this must be accomplished through working with the free will of humanity and not through force and that sharing includes more than the material.

(12) I believe that true spiritual principles and facts are in harmony with proven science and all truth no matter where it is discovered. In all situations I seek to know the truth rather than settle for that which is false.

(13) I accept the principle of harmlessness and in this spirit I do not support any first aggression toward any nation, group or individual. If there is no first aggression there will not be a second.

(14) I support the principle of harmonious and good relationships and seek to be an ambassador of goodwill with my family, friends, groups and nations that all may benefit from contact with me. I embrace kindness in all my contacts.

(15) I support the principle of honesty and seek to tell the truth consistently.

(16) I believe there is goodwill and a desire for peace in the great majority of people, groups and religions and seek to see the best in those who believe differently than myself.

The plan in a nutshell is to present these principles to the common people of the various religions with the hope that millions will one day endorse them. When this day comes then the idea of union will begin to permeate the leadership in the various religions and governments. When this is realized the hatred of one religion toward another will diminish and eventually all will cease their thoughts of war and live within a peaceful co-existence.

The Atonement & Karma

The Atonement & Karma

Question: Paying off karma seems very complicated. Looks like there would have to be a big book just tabulating the errors I have made. How can a complex debt be paid off?

The consequences are exactly as the scriptures says.

“He (Christ) shall reward every man according to his works.” Matt 16:27

And what does “according to our works” mean? The scripture says:

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” II Cor 9:6

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Gal 6:7

If you lie you will synchronistically encounter people in this life or the next that will lie back to you with the same intensity with which you lied. This cycle will continue until you cease to lie.

There does not have to be a large book of consequences for lies and other errors any more than you have to have a large book of instructions of steering corrections necessary to drive across town. After a couple miles driving you have corrected your course hundreds of times but writing a book of instructions concerning every correction would be silly. The corrections are built into you and happen automatically when the goal is in mind. Even so, are the causes created by lying stored in the Mind of God and returned in kind automatically without anyone having to make tabulations.

Question: It seems that punishment through karma is not productive. For instance, what good would it do me for receiving 37 lashes for lying?

JJ

The problem with this example is that it is not a consequence of kind. I do not even think they punish liars this severely in Moslem countries.

37 lashes would be overkill and an unjust punishment merely causes pent up hostility which causes greater future problems whereas a just consequence leaves the perpetrator with an inward witness that he deserved what he received and will often benefit from it.

A just consequence will indeed cure one from lying. Many of us are thick headed and have to suffer the same consequence dozens of time before we learn, but eventually we do indeed learn.

The liar is the main beneficiary of the natural consequences of his lying, but his circle of associates also benefits.

Question: Couldn’t God come up with a better system than karma to take care of our mistakes?

What better way is there than to learn from experience – to experience the effects of our own causes so that we may become a master of causes as was the Christ? We may be imperfect, but all of us are capable of paying a debt. I have written much previously about how this debt is paid off. One can pay off several lifetimes of debt in one lifetime through selfless service. Just like we can indeed perfectly pay off a bank loan despite our imperfections in earning money, even so can we perfectly pay off our karma. We can more than pay it off and start accumulating a positive balance rather than a negative.

“And every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.” I Cor 3:8

Many say that Jesus came along and suffered for our sins and this created an atonement which removes cause or karma.

This is not what the scriptures say. No where in the scriptures does it say that the atonement removed any cause or Karma.

Cause cannot be removed by anyone – not even God for to remove cause is to remove all creation as it says in this scripture concerning the idea that duality could be suspended:

“…there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.” II Nephi 2:13

Remove karma and you remove duality, remove duality and all things vanish away.

Concerning our debts, or Karma, Jesus said:

“Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.” Mat 5:26

But, you say, Jesus paid the uttermost farthing for us and fulfilled the law with an infinite atonement.

But did he? Is that what the scriptures really say???

Here is a scripture relating to the fate of those who did receive the atonement of Jesus:

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Here we are told that power is given to the Beast to make war with the saints and overcome them. We saw that this was true in the time of Christ. If anyone received an atonement it would have been the twelve apostles, yet all but John were killed with the sword or other means. Thousands of others suffered brutal painful deaths.

Why did they suffer so?

The scripture plainly tells us that there is a reason they must have patience and faith. It explains here that the beast has such power over them because of this principle:

“He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

Now keep in mind that this is a New testament scripture given after the Atonement had been made.

Does it say that the one who kills with the sword will be killed with the sword – except for those who have had an atonement?

No.

It gives no exception to the rule, but makes a point blank statement.

Those who were the early Christian Saints being put to death by the Beast, which was Rome, were given into his power because in past lives they themselves were the perpetrators of atrocities. In the past these saints had put others in prison and to death with the sword and were in that life suffering the consequences of their action and therefore had to have patience and faith in their sufferings.

If the atonement removed the results of karma then why did those who had received the atonement continue to receive results of karma???

The LDS here revere Joseph Smith as a man who was righteous and received an atonement, yet he was tarred and feathered, kidnapped, placed in jail and finally killed all as a result of cause and effect. Why did not the atonement protect him from this karma which many say should not exist?

If the atonement does not remove karma, which is cause and effect, then what does it do?

The atonement removes guilt and guilt often has more to do with imagined causes rather than real causes.

One always feels guilt when he violates the commandments of his religion no matter what they may be. Judaism was a religion with a great number of laws, most of them manmade and there probably was not a Jew in the days of Jesus who did not suffer some guilt for some violation of what he perceived to be God’s will.

If you feel that God has commanded you to not eat peas and you break His will and eat peas then you will feel guilt. Even though the peas cause no real harm you still need the guilt removed. But then if a savior comes along and reveals to you that your guilt is produced by illusion and reveals the truth, the guilt magically disappears. This is how the magic of the atonement works.

It is best expressed in these words of Jesus:

“You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”

The true atonement is a revelation of the truth so illusion passes away and guilt is lifted. Then real progress can be made.

Answers to Mysteries

Answers to Mysteries

Question: Please elaborate on the soul in a way that an LDS person can relate to.

What is confusing to Mormons and some others is that they see the Father, Son and Holy Spirit only as individualized entities, but what they fail to realize is that individualized entities only represent these three aspects. There was a beginning to this representation, but there is no beginning to the three aspects of the Father ( represented by the Monad and the ray of Will, Power, Purpose), the Son (The soul – the Ray of Love/wisdom) and the Holy Spirit (an omnipresent entity – the Ray of active intelligence).

There is evidence that Joseph Smith had a knowledge of this as he stated that the Christ is an office and that office is currently held by Christ of Galilee. Take away the office and what do you have?

Answer: An eternal aspect which awaits manifestation of billions of worlds.

Both the light of Christ and the Holy Spirit manifest through the power of soul energy (different than the solar angel). The light of Christ is the light of the intuition in varying degrees that shines upon our mind and enlightens it. In its beginning influence it produces a conscience and desire for self improvement and in full development it creates a “flashing forth” of the intuition.

The Holy Spirit is a link between the lower worlds and the higher and through the power of the soul gives us direction and the “still small voice.”

There is a difference between soul energy and the Solar Angel. Soul energy is produced through the interplay of spirit and matter and thus when God placed his spirit in the body and the interplay began soul energy was the result and man became a living soul.

The Solar Angel is an actual entity who uses soul energy to work with you. When teachers of ancient wisdom speak of the soul one must look at the context of their words to figure exactly what they are referring to.

Question: What is the origin of the Solar Angel?

Your Solar Angel overcame death in a previous solar system billions of years ago.

Question: Are we going to have an immortal physical body?].

Joseph Smith just taught the bare bones of this idea. He stated that the God over us was appointed in a conference of Gods and there was one assigned to this planet Earth and that he has a physical body.

This is the entity which is called The Ancient of Days in the Bible and Sanat Kumara in the Bailey writings.

The higher lives do not live in physical bodies of lower vibration as we do. He who is called the Father on this planet lives in etheric matter as we do in reality. The physical body we see is created by an illusionary principle and the Father can so manifest if he desires. What many do not realize is that the etheric body is our true physical body.

The etheric body gives our lower physical body form and life, and after death it lives on for a short time and then disintegrates – leaving us in our astral body and then mental bodies.

When spirit and body is united in those who become as the Immortals the physical is folded up into the spiritual. How do you think Jesus walked through walls? He did not have a physical body when he did so, but unfolded it after he was through the wall and became physical again.

Our Father God has spent eons of time with no physical body (as we understand the term) after he overcame death in a past system, but when circumstances warranted it he can descend into the physical as he has done in coming to this earth and becoming the first Adam and continuing to dwell in an etheric physical body. A Master or higher who dwells in etheric matter can manifest a physical body when desired that can be touched and felt.

Question: Why come to a world of “form” to get experiences when our “end product” (so to speak) is formless?

There is no single end product. We come into the physical for experience and to obtain power over all things. When this power is obtained we can then fold up our lower bodies and go to the higher realms. Then when we desire we can put on our lower clothes and visit the lower worlds. Those who have not taken physical bodies do not have this power. One has to overcome all things in the physical to be come a co-creator with God and participate in eternal increase.

Question: Does going back to oneness mean we will lose our individual identities?

We will always have a separate identity. This is eternal because the seed of our identity is eternal.

The merging takes place as described in I Cor chapter 12. Just like the millions of cells in your body are individual lives in their sphere and merge to create a greater life, even so is it our destiny to merge and create a greater life for the soul of humanity.

Question: I read in Conversations With God, what the world regards as “more primitive” or “less developed” societies, are in fact the most highly. Is this true?

So what do you think? Are primitive tribal members more evolved than us civilized folk?

Do you think you began your incarnations as civilized and will end up wearing a loincloth in a jungle tribe for your last life? Or did you begin your incarnations in a primitive state and evolve toward the more mental civilized countries?

Some say that animals are more evolved than humans. A little reflection here reveals the truth. We incarnated as primitive beings in our distant past and few who actually think about it would desire the tribal state to be the end product of our spiritual evolution.

We are not perfect, but we are far from the end of our progression, but the end of our evolution will not be as a native tribesman or an animal.

Confronting Illusion

Confronting Illusion

Many people feel annoyed when accosted by Fundamentalists. They can be obnoxious at times.

I, however, actually enjoy the experience and you can too with a little preparation.

First there is one prime ingredient that you must have within yourself in order to turn the tables on them.

You must be absolutely sure that their version of reality is distorted so they will have no power to make you doubt yourself or arouse the fear of hell within you.

There are many who were taught fundamentalists principles as a child and later came to a realization of a more loving God, yet because of nagging doubts and a residual fear of hell, the person becomes flustered when accosted by these born-againers from time to time. This may not be the case with you some but I assure you that residual fear and doubt is a thorn in the side to many.

After I “graduated” from the Mormon Church in 1979 I attempted to enlighten my fellow Mormons for a time. Some really liked what I taught them, but as far as severing their ties and moving on they would say something like this.

“If you are right and the Church is wrong then I do not have a lot to worry about for I will get chance after chance until I progress forward and the worst that can happen is that I will waste a few lifetimes.

“BUT, if you are wrong and the Church is right and I were to get excommunicated for being an apostate then I could become a son of perdition and reign with the devil and his angels for all eternity. That’s a lot more serious mistake than a couple lifetimes wasted.

“Now I think that what you have taught me is probably true, but I am not 100% positive and as long as there is one chance in as thousand that the church is right, I will keep my big toe in the door and follow their rules.”

It is sad that a one chance in a thousand possibility in the direction of fear can produce more motivation that a 99% surety in the Love and goodness of God.

Thus it is of extreme importance that each person on the path obtain his own soul contact and have a witness of the goodness of God and know within himself that if he follows the highest that he knows, that he or she will not be under any condemnation.

We will make mistakes now and then, and suffer the natural consequences, but if we have any faith at all in the goodness of God we will know within ourselves that God will never hold one under spiritual condemnation who is struggling to follow the highest he knows.

Now if a person is 99% sure that a certain path is correct and refuses to take it because of fear, he is not following his highest light. Any rejection of light creates a state of greater darkness than before the light was seen and this can cause the pilgrim to wander off on strange paths that can be a cause of much delay and pain before the path is regained.

So if you are fearless and planted with your feet on rock and not sand, then you can stand and prevail against any person who challenges you from an illusionary viewpoint. They can be from a religion or cult that you know nothing about and you can still confound them.

All you have to do is to carefully listen to them and then ask them questions to make them explain themselves.

Ask them questions such as:

Where does it say that in the scriptures?

Half the time they cannot find a reference to what they are saying and if they do and if you read the context back to them and interpret it yourself they will become enraged.

Another question:

What do I need to be saved from?

The Devil you say? What is the devil doing to me that requires me to be saved from him?

Hell you say. If I am not in hell now why would I be in hell after death?

Why would a God who is good throw a person like me who loves Him into an eternal fire? It sounds to me that you are the one who needs to be saved from this fearful belief.

I mentioned previously that I had fun with a fundamentalist when he asked me if I accepted Jesus into my heart.

Now I knew that this idea was not even taught in the Bible so I asked him.

Where in the Bible does it tell me to accept Jesus in my heart?

The guy’s brain about started to smoke as he attempted to find a scripture relating to his most often repeated mantra.

I remember when the controversial movie – The Last Temptation of Christ – came to town and we went to see it. As we were waiting in line a group of born-againers accosted us. They had a great captive audience because no one was about to ruin their night and leave their place.

The conversation I had went something like this.

Born-Againer: This movie is blasphemous and will take you away from the real Jesus. You should leave right now and not see it.

JJ: Have you seen the movie?

Born-Againer: Of course not.

JJ: Then how do you know it is blasphemous?

Born-Againer: I’ve read about it.

JJ: How do you know that what you’ve read is correct?

Born-Againer: I just do.

JJ: How?

Born-Againer: I trust my sources.

JJ: Why?

Born-Againer: They are reliable

JJ: And you know this because…?

Born-Againer: I just know they are reliable.

JJ: Yet you tell me to not go to this movie because it may take me away from the real Jesus, but your reliable source went. Maybe this reliable source is lead astray by the movie and also leading you astray?

Born-Againer: I tell you my source is reliable.

JJ: So what is there about the movie you have a problem with?

Born-Againer: It portrays Jesus as having sex with a woman.

JJ: But this was his last temptation on the cross. He dreamed of having a regular life, getting married and having a family instead of being on the cross. Are you saying that it is a sin to dream?

Born-Againer: Well, no, but Jesus would not consider having sex.

JJ: Where does it say that in the Bible?

Born-Againer: It says he is without sin.

JJ: So are you saying that getting married and having sex is a sin?

Born-Againer: Not for us but it would have been wrong for Jesus.

JJ: Why?

Born-Againer: Because he could not have sex and be our saviour.

JJ: Are you saying that sex is always evil?

Born-Againer: Well, no.

JJ: Maybe Jesus was married and did have sex. Can you show me any statement in the Bible that says he was not married?

The guy started getting frustrated as we left him and entered the theater.

But notice my approach. I was the one who took charge and asked the questions. Usually they keep control and they ask all questions, but it is a simple thing to turn the tables on them. You take the offensive, you ask the questions and they will be beside themselves and it is a fun dialog to experience.

Readers might want to review the series I posted recently called “Questions for Christians.” Follow the line of reasoning there and it will be easy to confound these deluded ones.

One thing to keep in mind as we move ahead in doctrine from the fundamentalist churches is that even though you have truths gained through your religion, because of the traditions of men, these teachings have become rigid and the vision blurred toward the true reality.

You’ll find that numerous teachings given here will seem to contradict many scriptural beliefs at first, but then after they are examined with an open mind the harmony with the real wording of scriptures will be quite close, actually closer than the religions.

Yes, it is possible that Christ could incarnate at any time. He has the power and can do so if he chooses. He also has the power to materialize a body and walk among us. Religious people keep telling us that God and Jesus have all power, but at the same time their hands are tied and there are many things they cannot do, such as save damned souls, take a body if they please etc. This is a contradiction of belief they do not seem to want to face.

I do not believe that the Christ has incarnated among general humanity in the past 2000 years, but has worked through the process of overshadowing disciples to varying degrees and working directly with mankind in this manner. I know that he worked with Winston Churchill during the War and inspired his words when he gave his “We shall never surrender” speech” as he became prime minister to face Hitler.

Could one who has overcome death incarnate back with us regular mortals and retrogress?

Because our free will is an eternal principle this is always a possibility. In fact one does not have to be in incarnation to make a bad decision.

Consider the one the scriptures called Lucifer. He lived a life on another world and overcame death (was exalted in Mormon language) but he (and actually one other immortal) fell from their high station.

Question: Tell us more about Adam.

The first Adam, or the first self conscious man, was indeed “the only God with whom we have to do.” The Highest Master, (or God) of this earth incarnated in human form and became the first man. This did not happen 6000 years ago, however, but millions of years ago. This one who the scriptures call the Ancient of Days overcame death on a previous world.

And what about this scripture?

“And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.” Matt 27:52-53

Many graves were open, but were open by the earthquake that happened at the crucifixion. Some did see visions of saints from the spirit world, and perhaps several saw Masters in immortal bodies making an appearance, and merely assumed that they came from the open graves.

Christ opened the door for others to unite body and spirit, but the interpretation most religions have of this scripture is not entirely correct.

Tells us more about remembering past lives.

Using regression techniques is the easiest way. However, some regressions are accurate and some are not. When a seeker reaches the point of liberation he will often have some or all past lives revealed – if such a revelation is helpful. We do not have the memories because they would distract us in our present life missions.

More important than regaining memories for most of us is obtaining a clear concept of the principle. Without this knowledge the person is drawn into all kinds of deception which paralyzes his progression and wastes his time.

A large portion of higher knowledge cannot be understood without the understanding of reincarnation.

The Big Guy

The Big Guy

Question: “Is the One (LOGOS?) at the apex of the Hierarchy that transcends (or proceeds) All Others?”

Generally when a question like this is asked it is done with the idea something like this:

Why should I waste my time advancing from hierarchy to hierarchy for billions of years when, if I find the head guy (or gal), I can just make one giant leap into his presence and end the quest and lay down in the bosom of eternity forever and just be?”

Now you may or may not believe this way, but this expresses the basic attitude of almost all the astral based religious beliefs of the world.

For instance, the Fundamentalist Christians go berserk when one presents them evidence of a hierarchy of Gods. They like the idea of being saved by accepting Jesus , thinking this will take them that giant leap into the arms of the universal Logos. The search is over and there is no more evolution to take place.

Many Buddhists see Nirvana as one giant leap into the arms of the Universal also marking the end of the quest.

Islam sees Allah as the highest there is and accepting him is the ultimate. There is no further advancement to be made.

Many New Age philosophies also follow this reasoning. For instance, Ekankar has their EK Master as the highest being in the universe incarnated on the earth to teach them how to make a giant leap over thousands of useless lives into the arms of the ultimate God, never to be reborn again.

Now a growing new age belief system is emerging that is not tied to any particular group which teaches that we need to find the ultimate God of the void. This God is beyond duality, beyond form, beyond consciousness, and if we merely focus ourselves on that point (similar to acknowledging Jesus to be saved) which is neither right nor left, top or bottom, good nor evil, our consciousness will be magically transported to the arms of the Universal no more to be subject to karma or future lives. We will remain in a blissful state of nothingness for all eternity beyond time.

Thus when the concept of eternal progression and the Hierarchy is taught one who is ingrained in orthodox religious thinking will almost always say:

“The heck with these small fries. Give me the top dog so the quest can be at an end.”

Well, the Hierarchy ahead of us are not so small a fry. As Djwhal Khul points out the Logoi above the Solar is to our consciousness, much higher than we are to a slug. He relates it to the consciousness of a human compared to a single atom.

Now think of it. How much attention have you given lately to teaching slugs or single atoms?

Even so it would be a total waste of time for a logos above solar to have anything directly to do with average humanity.

All in the universe are aided by another life of similar consciousness, but only a little further on the path. It is not in the plan for those a million miles ahead on the path to backtrack when there are plenty of helpers for all in each location.

So why do so many have this great desire to take this large flying leap to the arms of the highest life in the universe?

Answer: Because they believe they will be happiest there.

But what they do not understand is that we are happiest in working with the lives in the next kingdom above us, not 100 kingdoms above us.

If the average seeker were transported to the presence of the Solar Logos (far from the highest) what kind of exchange would take place?

The seeker may ask questions such as:

What am I supposed to do with my life?

How can I be of service?

What is the meaning of life, etc?

The Solar Logos would reply, “There are already millions of lives available in this solar system that can answer your questions to the extent that your consciousness can comprehend. What do you need me for? If you are not ready to even hear the words of a Master on your planet, what makes you think you can have any understanding of my purpose?”

If a slug came to you asking how to be a better slug you would tell him to find a slug ahead of him and learn from him. You do not even want to deal with the tiny lives when the great lives are much comparable.

It is as Jesus said: “Ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matt 10:31

Even so, from the viewpoint of the Solar Logos, one of his direct disciples is worth many humans and that is where he needs to place his attention.

A good teacher for us here in the human kingdom would make more sense to us than instructions from the Solar Logos or higher.

Now let me quote from a previous post I made.

“I wrote earlier about part of the chain of the Hierarchy. There are various ones on this earth with the highest being the Planetary Logos. The highest in the solar system is the Solar Logos, however there are millions of Hierarchical workers in between.

“The major leap above this is a logos over seven solar systems of which our Sun is but one.

“In our Milky Way Galaxy we have billions of solar systems and there are many great Logoi. The higher we get the lower their point on their potential ladder. To understand this principle consider that a flower is closer toward the end of its evolution than a human, even though the human is the higher life.

“Even so, are humans higher on their ladder than are the logoi. Thus the galactic logos is merely an idea in formation. This also applies to higher logoi up to the entire universe. The highest logos of which anything is revealed is The One About Whom Naught Can Be Said which governs seven solar systems. of which our sun is one.

“As you know there are also billions of galaxies which compose our universe, the end of which has not yet been discovered by our scientists. But it does have an end and beyond that we assume there are more universes.

“Now most metaphysicians assume the Hierarchy and creation goes on infinitely. They think that our universe is one out of millions and these millions form a greater universe and then there is yet another group higher and so on for infinity.

This assumption is a guess and is not the case.

“The hierarchy ends with the universe of galaxies. The creative mind of God in our universe has reached it’s ring-pass-not at this point.

“Now there are an unlimited number of other universes, but the hierarchy in one physical universe is not linked to hierarchies in other universes. This is why I say that the Hierarchy stops at the universal level.

But, progression does not stop there. The life of God as it is incarnated in the various physical universes is BECOMING, and as it does, groups of universes will eventually be linked in Hierarchical order.

Any Hierarchy at the top of our universe of galaxies is very loosely tied together for the creative evolution of the universe itself is far from complete.” End quote

This universe is an evolving universe and as such the top logos of our system is in a state of BECOMING and solidifying his position and purpose. There is no top universe of all the universes as the relationship between physical universes will be virtually non existent for ages to come.

But what about the Big Guy, the one who is over all things?

In asking this question we ask it from a human point of view seeing the Big Guy as a great human sitting on a throne somewhere with human thoughts.

The universal One God is not a logos or a part of any hierarchy, but manifests through all the hierarchy as well as every life in the universe and is thus aware of the fall of a sparrow so long as the sparrow itself is aware of its fall.

But still one may say, “well, then, I want to go directly to this one God.”

The answer is that you do not go to the presence of the one God by defying His creative purpose and attempting to jump into a void of nothingness beyond all creation. This cannot be done and is not allowed to be done, for we are all caught in the motivating stream of original purpose and there is no way to escape it because we are one with it. The only thing we can do to move ahead is to find out our part in the Purpose and move with it.

But a lot of people believe that they have escaped duality and gone to the void back to the initiating one God.

Answer: The first thing that would happen if this were possible is that the person would disappear and be no more here in body or consciousness. In fact even his consciousness would be no more period.

Some through meditation or focused attention achieve states of consciousness bordering on bliss that seems beyond all duality and becoming, but in this I believe they are deceived. First, if such a state were truly achieved then duality could not pull them back. They would just disappear from this world.

Some do achieve contact with higher realms where duality is seen as a unity, but escape from the creative purpose of God is not achieved, nor is it desirable.

The Bigger Picture

The Bigger Picture

Question: Are the plans of God and the higher lives which guide us truly frustrated now and then just as the plans of us mortals are?

The answer is yes and no.

Let us use the Law of Correspondences and examine how control over situations occur with us and extend it to the kingdoms above.

Ron takes his child Ricky to the park and places him in the playground and tells him he can play there for two hours, but must not leave the play area.

Now as Ricky happily plays on the slides, swings and other equipment placed there for him he feels free as a bird. It seems that he has complete freedom as he proceeds from one playful experience to another. Then in the distance he spots an ice cream truck giving away free samples. He immediately drops all his play and runs toward the truck leaving the playground.

His father spots him, runs and grabs him and takes him back to the playground with a scolding for breaking the rules. Ricky cries and says he wants some ice cream, but Ron tells him that he cannot have any because he disobeyed his instructions.

Ricky is upset for a while but then settles down in a sandbox with a goal to make a castle. His Father tells him he only has a hour left so he needs to make the best of it.

Ricky wants to make a nice castle and he thinks he can finish it in time, but soon the hour is past and the castle remains unfinished. The father says it is time to go. Ricky pleads with his Father to let him stay fifteen more minutes so he can finish.

Ron tells him that he would be happy to but his boss has demanded that he meet him in the office, and he has to be there in a few minutes.

“Tell your boss to take a hike,” says Ricky.

But Ron explains that he must go or he could lose his job.

As they leave Ricky turns around and sadly looks at his unfinished castle already disintegrating in the breeze.

Ron drops his boy off at home ands heads to the office to help his boss, Justin. After finishing up he says:

“You know, I come in on weekends when you need me and often stay late without pay on regular work days. Now I have a favor to ask of you. We would like to buy a new house, but to make the payments I need an increase in pay. What’s the possibility of getting a ten percent increase?”

“I’d be happy to oblige you,” said Justin, but I do not have authority to give a raise that big. I’ll have to talk to Roger, my boss, about it.

This gives us the general idea. Now let us correspond it to humanity as a whole and the higher kingdoms.

Humanity is like the child playing in the playground. We make our goals and achieve some and miss some. It often appears that we have the free will to proceed with any plan we desire, but now and then we break the rules and nature or some fatherly force puts us in our place.

The kingdom above us, the hierarchy of Masters, is like the Father. They give us guidance and make us aware of the existing rules. But like the father they also have their own goals and the success of many of these is contingent on their boss which is the next kingdom up, or Shamballa. Then, of course there are lives of higher authority still that must be considered by even by the highest earthly authority.

As we look at the sphere of influence of the bosses and the father and the child in our parable, we can see that each has their sphere of influence where they can make definite decisions that can be carried out, but others that may be questionable. The child has definite power to decide and play on the swings, but it is questionable as to whether he would have time to finish his sand castle.

The father has definite power to take his child to the park for two hours, but as to whether he will have power to buy the house will be dependent to some extent on authority higher than himself.

Even so, a Master may give a mortal an assignment within his sphere of power and if we do our part the end will be sure.

Then there are other times that a Master may be carrying out purpose from his own higher authority and power within his own hands has to operate within the perimeters of a higher decision.

Let us suppose that The Planetary Logos makes a decision that war must cease and there must be a rest on earth from pain and destruction within a hundred years from now.

The Masters become aware of this decision and see that one of two things will happen. (1) Humanity will learn to live in peace and bring this about or (2) Humanity will not learn the lesson so there will be great destruction which will force humanity to allow the earth to rest.

The Masters like alternative number one much better so they work with humanity in this direction in the hope of bringing peace and negating alternative number two. It is not a sure thing that humanity can be successfully guided in the right direction, but it is a sure thing that the decision for the earth to rest will be carried out one way or another.

Certain advances in the evolution of humanity have been decreed and if we get lazy and do not do our part then painful experience will befall the earth forcing us to move ahead.

Let us assume that Pope John Paul I was expected to play a major role in preparing for the return of Christ, but this part of the plan was frustrated because he was killed after only 33 days in office. Does this mean that all is lost? No. This is only a part of a larger plan which will be definitely executed. In between the beginning and the end it will sometimes appear that there is a lot of random happenings and no guiding hand seems to be in charge, but as the end time of a great Decision is approached the intelligence in the manifestation of the Divine Architect is seen and the purpose begins to manifest.

Djwhal Khul gives a good example of the failure turned into success by the Hierarchy in the person of H P Blavatsky.

She was incarnated in a previous life as Count Alessandro Cagliostro, the famous charlatan of the eighteenth century who claimed to have the elixir of immortal youth and lived his life defrauding men of high stature. She (a he in that life) was expected to do much to introduce the ancient wisdom to the world. She largely failed in this mission which was a huge setback for the plan of the Masters.

But she returned in the person of Blavatsky and this time she exceeded expectations and made up for lost time. Even so, the plan the Higher Lives have for the Catholic and other churches will be executed in one way or another, but seldom as we expect.

If each of us would just tune into the soul and play our small role then humanity would progress toward the Kingdom of God fairly painlessly and many of the troubles that loom before us could be avoided.

“I have noticed two things that appear to be in very short supply in the Vatican. Honesty and a good cup of coffee.” John Paul I

By Their Fruits

By Their Fruits

One thing that has always amazed me is how people make judgments on what is good and what is evil, or what is neither good not evil but “just is.”

What is difficult for the thinking person to deal with is the fact that many people make judgments based on catch phrases rather than the substance of what is said.

For instance, with a fundamental religious person anything that sounds like “one world order” immediately raises the red flag as a mark of Satan.

Often times these fears have their origin in an evil possibility. For instance, it is true that there is always a danger that we could progress to a one world order headed by a tyrant that would indeed be a bad situation for the while planet.

BUT

Even the scriptures predict a one world order under Christ so obviously everything that unites the world is not evil.

The Red Cross is a one world order type organization and few would call that evil.

“Christ consciousness” is another turn off for these people as well as the word “meditation.”

Now the funny thing is that these words and phrases should not be turn off for the religious ones for the Bible predicts a united world, tells us we should have the consciousness of Christ and encourages prayer, a form of meditation. Because of their programming they allow their thinking process to be shut down by these and other words.

Now the same happens on the other polarity with the New Age Community. What shuts down their circuits?

One interesting concept that shuts many down is the idea of Hierarchy. Even though this is a foundation teaching of Theosophy and Alice A. Bailey, many channeled writings are anti-hierarchy, anti structure and anti authority of any kind.

Thus, as soon as a person mentions anything that implies a structure of any kind, a symbol of evil looms in their mind and they shut down.

Another concept that makes this group shut down is the phrase “good and evil” itself. Paradoxically many believe that there is no such thing as good and evil and as soon as someone mentions these trigger words, the speaker is rejected as if he were evil (even though they do not believe in evil).

Another trigger revolves around the idea of “control.” Now we know that much harm can come about through unjust control, but there are many good uses of the concept. One is self-control, but many new agers tune out when control is mentioned even in this context.

Another just use of control is through laws which are just. For instance, most thinking people are happy to have laws that control the populace in such a way that harmful crimes are prevented.

Every word or phrase represents some concept behind it and all concepts and principles can be used for good or evil.

Another positive use of control is that used by a teacher in a classroom situation to maintain order and a positive learning situation.

In this class we use a very limited form of moderation to maintain control, much less than a teacher uses in a college classroom.

We recently had several members complain of too much control because a couple posts were sent back to be rewritten, but what is not appreciated is that we could have prevented any disruption at all by increasing our moderation as many other groups do. If we had done this then the group as a whole would have been unaware that anyone was disagreeing with me.

It seems that every three or four months someone comes on the group who has some of their trigger words aroused and the idea of evil or sinister motive or “energy” seems to come before their mind in dealing with me or other members of the Keys.

But what I want to look at here is what are real signs of good or evil in relation to a person or group. Trigger words, phrases or nebulous energy is far from enough from which to make a good judgment.

Jesus gave the principle here:

Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matt 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matt 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matt 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matt 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matt 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Matt 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Now one of the problems with this scripture, as in the case of all teaching no matter how pure and true they may be, is that its interpretation is often turned upside down. Isaiah tells us that many call good evil and evil good, so this is no surprise.

For instance, a person may offend many by his words and generate numerous enemies. In such a case many in history have been accused of generating evil fruit and thus seen as evil or mislead themselves.

But is this the criteria for judging an evil person and his fruit?

Not hardly, for look who fits in this category.

Abraham Lincoln, had perhaps the most enemies of any President in U.S. history and was even assassinated by them. But was he an evil man with evil fruit?

Nay, for the fruit of his works was the freedom of the slaves and the blacks have continued to make progress in civil liberties from that day onward.

Winston Churchill, who was the most important force in defeating Hitler also offended many people and had many enemies.

Then the most offensive person in history was probably Jesus himself who offended and angered so many that he said:

“Blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.” Matt 11:6

Thus we can conclude by examining the lives of those who we acknowledge as producers of good fruit that the criteria for bringing forth good fruit is not to walk on eggshells and make sure you do not offend anyone. Most people in history who brought forth good fruit offended many and some were bitterly hated.

If being surrounded by outer love and peace is not the good fruit that Jesus was talking about then what was it?

There are three interpretations of good fruit in the teachings of Jesus.

The first is presented in the Parable of the Sower. In a nutshell a teacher goes forth and plants his seed (which are his words or teachings) in various types of soil. The seed grows into plants which bring forth fruit in varying quantities.

The first criteria for good fruit is that the words of the teacher, or initiate, will multiply. This does not mean that his words will necessarily be many, but that the words he does speak or write will enter he hearts and minds of people and be accepted and multiplied, or spread from person to person.

Who was the greatest example of this type of fruit? Again, it was Jesus. Even today, 2000 years later, his words are more widely circulated than any other person on the earth. The amazing thing is that we only have a handful of His words, but they were so profound that some of them are upon the lips of almost every human being.

If we apply this principle to Abraham Lincoln we have the same result. His Gettysburg address was so fraught with soul energy that millions have it memorized or at least know a few lines of it. Hundreds of Lincoln’s maxims are still in use today in every day language and inspiring speeches.

I’ll just name two.

“God must have loved the common people because be made so many of them.”

“You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”

On the other hand, if we examine the arch villains in history there appears to be close to zero fruit of this kind. When’s the last time you beard anyone quote Hitler to teach something that is good, beautiful or true? Or how about Nero or even Saddam Hussein?

Only those who are working for the good of humanity will produce the good fruit of words that will survive them and permeate the consciousness of humanity, passed from person to person and used for teaching and quoted by many.

Now if you wish to know whether or not I am good or evil based on this principle you must look at the words I have written. Do you think the words I have written will survive me?

Do people embrace teachings such as the Molecular Relationship and do they share them with others? Will this concept still be talked about and circulated a hundred years from now? Are and will some of my words quoted and passed around?

Now look at my critics who have come and gone over the years. Have any of them produced the good fruit of words that will enter the hearts of humanity? Will anyone be quoting their words a hundred years from now.

Some may say: “I am no fancy writer or speaker. How can I bear good fruit if I am not talented in this way?”

The question this person must them ask is: “What kind of words and teachings to you allow to be accepted by your heart?”

Are they words and teachings that will still be embraced by humanity in another hundred years or are they some passing fad with no substance that will be meaningless in a hundred or a thousand years?

The apostles may not have been as profound as Jesus, but they embraced his words and multiplied the fruit thereof so his words eventually permeated the entire planet and thus they obtained a glory that will never die.

The second association of good fruit in the scriptures is with our labors, sometimes called “the fruit of our labors.

If the person’s words are followed the resulting labors will be good or evil, positive or negative.

While it is true that there have been many conflicts and wars in the name of Christ, it is also true that those who actually put his teachings into practice produce good and positive works.

Jesus said: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Now who ever heard of a bad labor or war being produced from that teaching?

Or:

“Love your enemies, do good to them who persecute you.”

If all people followed the words of Jesus there would be no more war. The wars in the name of Christ occurred largely because His words were not followed.

Again, if you want to apply this principle to me or others here in this forum one must ask this question:

If his words were followed what would be the result? Would the result be good or evil?

I find it amusing that my critics who think I am either in league with the devil or just deceived rarely quote the words I actually say in accusing me. They either seem to make inaccurate quotes or say that what is bad about me is something nebulous, like my energy, or something unsaid between the lines.

This type of accusation can be made against anyone. If someone wants to show myself or any other teacher as being good or evil he should analyze what he has actually said and taught – not what he has not said.

The third fruit mentioned in the scriptures are people themselves. One of the fruits of Jesus were his Twelve Apostles and others (including females) who were great teaches lost to history.

He found people who the world considered as near-do-wells and planted his words in them and these few became some of the greatest embassitors of light in history.

Now were these people perfect? No. Peter denied Christ three times and Jesus corrected him when he cut off the ear of a Roman soldier. They were human beings capable of making mistakes and saying and doing rash things, but their hearts were good and in the end their works were good.

Conclusion: To accurately judge a teacher look at his or her fruits – examine the actual words given out and the effects they create. Examine the quality of people who gather around the words and works. Are they inclined toward love, union, synthesis and inclusiveness or not so much? A hundred years from now will the words or teachings still be pertinent, applicable and quotable?
