CHAPTER ONE

CREATION

There was a beginning to time, but no beginning to God for God created time from a point that knows not time. From eternity the Father/Mother/It existed as a point of life with no form, hence no time, no space, no motion, and no mass. It becomes the He/She/It who is eternally reflected as a circle around the point. The circle around the point is the Eternal Son/Daughter and the interplay of the two is the Holy Ghost. The beginning of visible creation is male because all things seen are in a state of radiation and is polarized in the male. All things unseen, which create the magnetic energy of the universe, and holds all things together, is female. The seen and the unseen are the two great poles of the Creative God.

In the beginning, before there existed manifested form in time, there was only God, and God was a point of life. There was no form, hence no time, no space, no motion, and no mass. Therefore, the point of life which was God filled all space since there was no space, and was smaller than anything because there was nothing. Without form, all dimensions are meaningless, but in this world without form, there was only the One Life, or the One God. There was nothing else.

The Father/Mother God or the Originating Decision, then reflected Itself as the Son/Daughter. Thus we had the first atom, or Adam, which was the point in the center, the originating God circled about by the prime creation.

Because spiritual creation was produced outside of time and space it is eternal and all embryonic lives are eternal. From our point of view all creation has always been and will always be. The word creation is not an accurate word to describe spiritual manifestation because the word implies a beginning and an end. Since the origin of all creation exists outside of time and space there is no beginning and end to these things.

Manifestation is perhaps more descriptive from our limited point of view than creation. The universe manifested on a spiritual level and levels of manifestation can appear at points in time and space, yet manifestation itself, including you and I, had no beginning. Manifestation just is, but becomes and evolves in time and space in various octaves.

In order for the ONE to manifest, It had to become the MANY. To manifest, the ONE Decision reflected Itself from the Prime Cause. Because the Prime Cause is infinite, the reflection was infinite; and infinite points of Decision filled and created all space. Each point was in the image of the ONE and had all the potential of the ONE. In other words, each point was a Son of the ONE or a Son of God.

All there is existed and still exists within this Point of Life, for It dwells in Eternity, or the Eternal Now, for all things are present before It. There is no past or future for the Life, but only Now. It sees beginnings and endings as Now, just as we can see the beginning and end to a line we draw. We can see the whole line with its millions of possible sections in one glance.

The infinite reflections had relationship between one another because they were all One in origin. This relationship is called Purpose and Purpose began to vibrate and this vibration creates the universal wavelength that manifests all things.

At the same non time that Purpose was created the vibration of Light and Love was manifest within the originating wavelength.

Light and Love and Purpose exist for eternity beyond time in the Eternal Now.

If we substitute a picture for this Eternal Now we can visualize timeless creation. Assuming the left side of a picture is the beginning and the right side the end, we can see the beginning and end with one glance; so does the Life see all things in creation – past, present, and future – all at one glance and knows the end from the beginning. It, however, sees time and space constantly changing to fit that end, but even the changes between beginning and end are, before It’s eyes, seen as Now.

The Life is like a creative artist with one great paintbrush in It’s hand, and with that paintbrush all that is, is made manifest. The hand which holds the paintbrush is that energy we call Purpose. Without Purpose, there would be no creation, for Purpose is behind all there is. It is the motivating Power of God.

From the beginning of creation then, there is eternally projected the Ray of Purpose. Purpose has no beginning because the Life that projects it has no beginning; thus, it has no end. Purpose is like a single endless line, or spiral, and because it is endless, it penetrates all things. When Purpose decides to paint pictures, it projects vibration and thus creates the wavelength. The top of the wavelength is called Love and the bottom is called Light, but Purpose is always there existing unseen between the two. It is the motivating Power.

The creative hand is Purpose, the paintbrush is Love, and the beautiful colored paints are Light. These three form the Trinity of God, projected by the One Life and are the powers behind all creation.

These powers are symbolized by the following diagram:

From Decision/Life is projected the supreme energy of Purpose. In the scriptures, this energy is represented by God the Father, the Most High God.

When Purpose vibrates with the objective of creating divine art, or manifest form, then the illusion of two separate energies is created. These energies, or aspects, are Love and Light, and are not separate from Purpose any more than Purpose is separate from Life. Purpose, Love, and Light are three Aspects of the One Life. They are one energy, but appear to be three energies. They are the One in Three, and the Three in One. They are the energies of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

One of the best illustrations of this is the guitar string. When it is stationary there is before you only one string, but as soon as you pluck it there is immediately produced the illusion of three strings. There appears to be three strings until the vibration ends. Then we see one string again.

So it is with creation. There appears to be three energies as long as the one energy of manifestation is vibrating, but creation is based upon the illusion of the three. In reality there is only one. While manifest creation is in existence in time and space the Trinity will be real to us, but when the vibration that creates all things is stilled then all the universe will go back to its source: The One Great Life who is God, or the Singularity as it is was called by Stephen Hawking.

Notice that the line of energy that produces Love and Light is a single emission. It is only the fluctuation of that one energy on both sides of Purpose that creates the illusion of Two, or the great illusion of Duality.

Even though the appearance of the Trinity of strings is an illusion that does not negate its value. Quite the contrary, for without this Trinity it would be impossible to create any rhythm or melodies and the guitar would be able to fulfill no useful function except to stand silent in the closet.

Even so can we thank the One Great Life for reflecting Itself and creating motion, or vibration, so the Music of the Spheres, and All There Is made manifest so the various parts of God can know themselves and each other.

There are seven worlds created in our reality from the universal wavelength. The highest four do not have form as we know it, but from a higher point of view all that is produced by wavelengths is still form. The lower three create the three worlds of form as is registered by the consciousness of man.

The original wavelength is of such a high frequency that it is beyond our conception. This produces the highest spiritual world called the “divine” in esoteric writings. However, the creation of the second world down in vibration is a great mystery, yet at the same time simple. It is created by the vibration of the original wavelength. The general idea (but not perfect) is as follows:

This has the interesting effect of creating a secondary wavelength seven times larger than the first. It helps to visualize it if we draw a line through it to see the wavelength of the second world.

The finer wavelength we see above creates the Divine World, but the larger one creates the second energy world called the Monadic. Within the Monadic we see there are seven smaller wavelengths of the Divine Plane also creating seven subplanes of the Monadic Plane.

The interesting thing to consider here is that both worlds are created from the same wavelength. There only appears to be more than one. Then the original wavelength which appears to be three energies is created from one energy.

Now this process repeats itself over again and another wavelength is created seven times as large. This creates the third world, the Spiritual, or Atmic Plane. We do not have room to diagram all three wavelengths co-existing. We see in the above diagram a wavelength riding upon another wavelength. To visualize three worlds you must see a wavelength riding on a wavelength which is riding upon another wavelength.

This process does not stop here. The third wavelength vibrates and creates the fourth world of the Buddhic Plane, or intuitional energy.

This process is repeated and the Mental Plane is created. Then the Mental Plane vibrates and creates the Astral. Finally, the Astral vibrates and creates the physical.

This explains a great mystery, the reason we cannot, with present scientific knowledge, detect the higher worlds. The wavelengths which create the higher worlds are hidden within the wavelengths of our own. Who has ever considered that the wavelengths that create our world are made of smaller wavelengths?

Many world thinkers have taught that all is vibration and there are an infinite variety of them, but what is a new thought here is that the vibration is made from vibration is made from vibration… The vibrations within vibrations are the unseen worlds. This hides them so well that it is difficult to prove their existence without understanding this principle.

The understanding of this principle is the key to creation as employed by Masters and Gods of legends past. After passing through the spiritual worlds an idea is formulated in the mind. When it is clearly visualized it exists in the mental vibrations. The mental vibrations are shaken by the power of Purpose and the thought becomes clothed in Astral or emotional matter. The wavelengths of the Astral are too shaken with Purpose energy and physical manifestation appears.

Within each of these seven worlds exist the Seven Ray energies. They are created through a ripple effect as various wavelengths involve and evolve. The dot indicates a point in space and time where a planet, individual, or atom may find itself.

The One Wavelength further subdivides itself into infinite amounts as illustrated below:

When we consider the originating wavelength a question that may arise is which direction did it go? All the above diagrams have it going from left to right. This is not exactly correct. These illustrations are two dimensional in order to register preparatory truth upon the mind of the seeker.

In actuality, before the first wavelength there was no space or time for space and time are created out of the wavelengths. Because there was no space or time there was no direction. Therefore, the first wavelength had to go all directions at once through all the infinite reflections: up, down, front, back and sideways. In going all directions from the center the circular ball was produced. As we look through the universe at atoms, planets, stars we see circular balls which are recreations of the first wavelength. See the diagram below as a circular ball of wavelengths emanating all directions originating from the point of life in the center:

Visualize the above ball as the entire universe. This is all the physical form there is in the higher four worlds, (even though there is additional form of imagination) only wavelengths riding upon wavelengths emanating from a center point which is God. The Center point plus these four worlds, dimensions or degrees of wavelengths produce the creative mind of God. This is sometimes called the universal mind. Science has not discovered the higher wavelengths of the physical plane or any of the astral and the formless worlds are much more illusive than these.

The current creative life, the human, has within him all the wavelengths and is the soul of the universe, the mediator between God and matter.

The four energy worlds had to be created before God could even think for the very idea of thought implies that there will be space, time and form. Now there is no space, time or form, as we know it, in the four energy worlds, but in them is laid the foundation for all these possibilities.

The Universal Mind craves experience and as it contemplates in its four energy states it sees all possibilities. Each possibility is an extension of itself, created in its own image and becomes a point in the Universal Life. The greatest of these thoughts, according to our knowledge, gather wavelengths and become galaxies. The next order of thoughts gather and become suns, the next order planets, the next life forms, the next atoms, the next subatomic particles and so on down. These are the order of the greatness of the thoughts of God, but the order of creation proceeds from the small particles to the large.

Each point of life is in the image of God, for God’s thoughts reflect God. The projection of God rides on the energy of Purpose and to understand it one must take two mirrors and place one in front and one in back of yourself. Look ahead and you will see yourself projected ad infinitum. God is still One, but appears to be God the many.

By the time that the reflection of God enters the fifth world some distortion occurs so one part of God appears different from another part. As the reflection enters the astral, or sixth world, the distortion is greater still. Finally, the seventh, or physical, is entered and imperfection, or distortion reaches its greatest degree.

Here one star is different from another, as well as the planets, lives and all forms. The forms are all created by a disturbance of divine force in the higher worlds and that disturbance was caused by the Thoughts of God.

You and I are also one of the thoughts of God in the Eternal Now and as such never had a beginning and will never have an end. If we trace ourselves back to our source we will see that behind the thought of us is a point that is a reflection of God and that reflection comes directly from God. In this way we can see that we are created by God, as the religions teach, but at the same time we are Gods because we are in His image, or reflection.

Look at the ball of wavelengths again and see a point of disturbance occurring on one of the lines. This creates counter wavelengths which create other counter wavelengths and thus are forms caused to appear.

All possibilities exist within the Mind of God and they all manifest somewhere in His universe. Our job, as life forms in His image is to live out all the possibilities that we can. When we have then experienced all possibilities within our sphere, God then makes new circumstances and creations and we go on to greater possibilities. Thus it is for all eternity.

The Molecular Relationship, Chapter 2

CHAPTER TWO
Light, Love and Purpose

When the projection of the One Life that produces Love and Light vibrates again, we have four additional rays of energy created, making a total of seven Ray energies. The three are recreated in a lower octave plus four additional making the seven and are represented in the Bible as the “Seven Spirits before the throne of God.”

In this treatise, we are mainly concerned with the three primary energies of Purpose, Love and Light, and will not deal at present with Rays 4, 5, 6, and 7.

We shall pay particular attention to Light and Love, for they are the root cause of the great illusion that separates, or appears to separate, man from God. Both Light and Love have beginning and ending points and all things with a beginning and an end are illusion. However, they are from an eternal source; thus, they manifest periodically for all eternity, but such manifestation always has a beginning and an end, and is therefore illusionary. Illusion, or the dream state of God, is thus a cyclic occurrence, just as we human beings sleep and dream every twenty-four hours. Our dreams may bring pleasure, pain, and experience, and they seem very real while we are dreaming, but when we are awakened, we know that it was an illusion. The significant point is that our consciousness participated in the illusion and this made the experience seem real.

Light and Love create the dreams of God and the power of the One Life is projected into the dreams through Purpose. Thus, God is in all things and through all things and is an active participant in all things so long as the illusion of Duality exists.

The energy of Purpose is not an illusion, for it has no form, and has no beginning and no end. Purpose is the only energy which is eternal because it is the One Energy. Only Oneness can be eternal. Anything that appears to be more than one is part of the great illusion and will have a cyclic end or rest. The end will always result in unification with the One Purpose, projected from the One Life.

The wavelength produced by the energy of the Trinity produces everything there is from the tiniest atom, with it’s electrons circling the nucleus of protons and neutrons, to the largest galaxy of billions of star systems. There is no such thing as solid matter. As the scientist divides and divides and goes smaller and smaller, he will find nothing but wavelengths. The electrons and protons and quarks that create the atom of substance vibrate and produce wavelengths, and are in turn created by wavelengths.

The wavelength is divided into an infinite number of waves and these waves permeate everything there is, but at the midpoint of all waves is the energy of Purpose from the One Life. If we visualize Purpose as a thread, then we can take any wavelength in existence, whether it be matter, light or sound, and follow the thread of Purpose as it crisscrosses through all form, great and small, back to the projecting One Life. In this simple statement is the omnipresence of God explained.

Contemplate this point because it is important. The power of Purpose projected from God is like an interconnecting thread within each wavelength, and all things are created from wavelengths. Within our bodies are billions and billions of wavelengths, all connected by the one thread of Purpose. The wavelengths that produce other humans are an extension of this one infinite thread. Not only are humans an extension of the one thread, but all living things are made of wavelengths and the single thread also permeates them. Even rocks, earth, and apparently inorganic matter is made of wavelengths, and this single thread goes through them also. Thus, there is no such thing as matter without Life and Purpose. All form is interconnected by the divine thread of Purpose, making god “in all things”.

That which produces differentiation in life, quality and appearance is merely the different frequencies and distortions of the one wavelength.

For instance, the different colored lights such as red, green and blue only appear different because of their different frequencies, or repetitions, of the wavelength that produces them. Sound is a wavelength that travels through air and produces a different effect because the wavelength of sound repeats itself much more slowly than the wavelength of light. The different frequencies of wavelengths produce different notes in sound. As you progress up the musical scale, you merely create wavelengths of a higher vibration. If one could make the vibration high enough, light could be created. If one could manipulate vibration into form, then matter could be produced.

The highest wavelength is the vibration of manifested life which is the projection of the One Life that animates all forms. The life that animates every man and woman is a wavelength of high vibration, but no two groups of wavelengths that create each man and woman are the same. Each possesses different frequencies and tones peculiar to itself. Also, that wavelength that creates each of us does not stay on the same frequency, but changes hour by hour, day by day, year by year, and from life to life. The life that we were yesterday is different from the life we are today, and will change again tomorrow. Our individual frequencies will continue to change until we play the whole symphony of God. Then the music will temporarily subside and all life will return to its source billions of years hence, and we shall share in the waking hours of God. Because we are one with God we shall never cease to be, but we daily cease to be as we were yesterday.

All physical creation is, then, produced by wavelengths, and there are wavelengths within wavelengths within wavelengths. All dualities are created by reflections and distortions of the energies of Light and Love that form the one wavelength. Reflections of Love and Light are good and evil, pleasure and pain, joy and misery, hot and cold, positive and negative, light and dark, and most important for this treatise, male and female.

The dividing point of all these dualities is Purpose. As the energy of the wavelength swings from Love to Light, the unifying energy of Purpose is sensed, and thus the energy of duality is recharged and sent on its way to expand or contract the form.

It may seem strange to say that good and evil is a reflection or correspondence to Love and Light, but an important point to remember is that all dualities correspond to these two energies. In their purest form, Love and Light are not as we understand them, but these two words are the best choice available to us for the two aspects of the wavelength. Good is a distorted reflection of Love and evil is a distorted reflection and misuse of Light. Good and evil repeats itself in history like a great wavelength animated by Purpose, and that which is good in one era can be evil in the next.

To understand relationship is to understand duality, for a relationship, or a marriage is a symbol of the unifying Purpose behind duality.

Male and female bodies are only symbols of male and female energies. The male energy is a correspondence to the energy of Love, or the Son aspect. The female energy corresponds to Light, the Holy Ghost, or Mother aspect. These correspondences can be reversed if other vantage points are used.

All things that are manifest are created by male and female energies and all these energies are united in form through the process of marriage, or union. Marriage is motivated through Purpose and gradually guides all male and female energies away from duality and separateness toward unity and oneness. Relationship, marriage or the union of male and female energies, leads all life forms back to their Source.

All things in the universe are either positively or negatively charged. That is, they are influenced more by either Love or Light energy, or they are either male or female. This includes everything from a sub-atomic particle to an atom, a human being, a planet, or a galaxy. Everything is either male or female. There is nothing that is 100% neutral except for the energy of Purpose.

Even though it is true that all forms are polarized in either male or female energy, it is also a fact that each form is composed of wavelengths with much interplay between both energies. Within the makeup of a human male for instance, there will be many female energies at work, and so will the female deal with numerous male energies within her. The reason an entity takes a male body in a certain life is because at that time his emitting waves are polarized in male energy. This polarization shifts from time to time throughout our incarnations.

Next: The Marriage of the Atoms.
Is there a similarity between the bonding of the atoms and the marriage of humans? Does the atomic worlds foreshadow the destiny of man?

The Molecular Relationship, Chapter 3

CHAPTER THREE
The Marriage of Atoms

For this treatise, it is important that we look upon ourselves not only as male and female in the physical sense, but also as male and female in the sense that we are two aspects of the divine energy of Purpose. We should see ourselves as separated energies that are working toward union.

Marriage, too, is much more than the joining of two physical persons; marriage is a universal order, a bonding relationship. It unites the male and female energies into a united whole. All male and female energies seek this marriage.

It is interesting to study the marriage of atoms. In observing them, we must realize that every form, whether it be an atom or planet, possesses a consciousness and life peculiar to itself and is either positively or negatively charged. In other words, it is either male or female. The chemist calls the male atom a positive particle and the female atom a negative one. Within the atom we also have the positive or male nucleus, and the negative or female electron shells which are married to the nucleus to produce something greater than themselves – a whole atom. In the case of the marriage of the female electrons to the male protons in the nucleus, the ratio is always one to one. If there are seven protons, for example, as in the case of nitrogen, they are balanced off with the energies of seven orbiting female electrons. These sub-atomic particles, which are the building blocks of all form, never deviate from seeking this one-to-one ratio.

As we study the atomic and molecular world, we do so with purpose, for we seek truth in the ancient truism “as above, so below; as below, so above”. In other words, by studying the atomic worlds (the microcosmic) and the higher worlds of planets, stars, etc. (the macrocosmic) and corresponding their relationships with humanity, we can ascertain correct principles whereby stability may be produced. At present, social scientists tell us that three out four of our marriages are unhappy, or unstable. If we can find the secret of how tiny atoms achieve stability, we can then take those principles and apply them to humanity.

In addition to the electrons and protons, the atoms are also made of a third major particle called the neutron. This particle is relatively neutral and there is usually one or more neutrons for each proton in the atom. There seems to be no set rule governing the number of neutrons in each atom – just what is necessary to create stability. Most of the lower elements have an approximate ratio of one neutron for each proton, but some of the heavier elements have a ratio of approximately 1.5 neutrons for each proton. In each atom there is always a certain number of neutrons that produces the most stable atom. In carbon, for instance, there are usually six protons, six electrons, and six neutrons. This is commonly called carbon 12. This the most stable carbon atom. In nature there are also trace amounts of carbon with seven and eight neutrons. Carbon, with eight neutrons, is called carbon 14 and is unstable and is radioactive, and tends to break down to a more stable element.

To create balance, the protons (male energy) and the electrons (female) then has a marriage relationship with two particles: their opposite charge and the neutral neutron. In these three particles, we again have represented the energies of the Trinity. The neutron represents the Father (Purpose), the proton is the Son (Love), and the electron is the Holy Ghost (Light).

Protons and neutrons are composed of electrons and positrons, and have a mass more than 1800 times as large as either of them. A positron is the same as an electron, but has a positive charge. It is the general carrier of the male energy in the universe, just as the electron is the carrier of all the female energy. Within the proton itself is many layers of positrons and electrons of various energy levels, but the outer layer has a surplus of one positron, making it a male particle. The neutrons have a balance of positive and negative particles, making it neutral. However, this is only a relative neutrality, for even though all life forms are seeking balance, or neutrality, none of them are exactly neutral. Anything that has form is either male or female, but sometimes the energy difference is very slight. The neutrons are very slightly female. This evidenced in nuclear physics by the fact that neutrons will tend to throw off an electron (female energy) before they will emit a positron (male energy).

See the diagram of helium – figure 1 below:

Then as we go smaller we find that the nucleus of the atom is made of up and down quarks. The up quarks have a charge of +2/3 and the down quarks have a negative charge of -1/3. They are always found in triangles which combine to either neutralize or a charge of positive one (except in anti matter where the charge would be -1).

Notice how the foundation block of creation is represented by Star of David. This microcosm is built on the number six as mentioned in the Immortal.

Protons and electrons are normally seen as having a uniform charge but some are slightly more charged than others. In our diagram of the helium atom, we have two electrons circling roughly like planets. Even though they are both female, or negative, one is more negative than the other; no two particles are exactly alike even if the difference is not yet measurable by us. Thus, there will be a secondary marriage relationship between the two electrons. The electron with the lowest negative charge assumes the role of the male and the other the female. The protons play upon each other’s energies in the same way and the electrons have some interplay with the neutrons. Thus, each particle has a Trinity of marriage relationships: one major and two minor. This Trinity of relationships produces the stable atom.

An interesting principle to contemplate is that all male and female energies in the universe are seeking stability, or neutrality. In other words, they seek to return to the energy of Purpose. The prodigal son of form is seeking to return to his father. This stability, or return, is always reached through marriage. Thus, marriage is a universal principle used to unite all male and female energies.

We have been talking about atoms in the microcosm, but there are also greater atoms in the macrocosm. Our Earth, with one moon, is like a great hydrogen atom, but the next true atomic correspondence is the Sun, with the planets circling it. On an even greater scale, the galaxies, which are composed of billions of stars, correspond to great positive and negative charges. Even the universe itself is a great ball of galaxies that will form a positive charge that will eventually become much more than an atom.

Man, who finds himself between the great and small atoms, is an atom on his own level and has the great destiny to create building blocks that will evolve into higher life forms through marriage, just as the marriage of atoms produced Molecules that eventually created life which finally evolved into man. So too must man create life greater than himself through marriage. This will lead us to the evolution of life consciousness hitherto undreamed of, and powers we cannot at present fathom, until man attains all the powers of godliness and creates in his own image a grand heavenly man.

The correspondence of man to an atom is most interesting to make. The physical body corresponds to the nucleus of protons and neutrons and the normally unseen aura that circles around him corresponds to the orbiting electrons. The nucleus of an atom has a mass of up to 4,000 times that of its electrons. So too does man’s dense physical body account for almost all his mass. The female energy circling man/woman has almost negligible mass and is invisible to him unless he trains himself to see it. When the aura is seen, the seer will discover beautiful changing colors, geometric shapes and an aura that actually revolves around the physical nucleus just as electrons dance within the atom. The true shape of man is then circular and he is in a constant state of rotation and movement as the atoms are.

The size of the human aura will vary greatly according to the point of evolution, just as will the size of the orbiting fields of the atoms vary according to their atomic weight, or point of evolution.

Within man’s physical body and extending about a millimeter or two from it is his etheric body. This is the energy field that holds the physical body together and gives it its shape and vitality similar to the job of gluons within the atom.

Within man is also seven chakras, or force centers and concerning these much has been written. The first five are aligned up the spine and the final two are in the head. The first is the center at the base of the spine. This center enflames and supports the energy of all the other centers. The second is the sacral center and controls sex energy. The third is the solar plexus; it creates the desire nature and the emotions. The fourth is the heart center and from it issues love and wisdom. The fifth is the throat center and from it emanates the high creative energies of the artist and creator. The sixth is the Ajna center between the eyes, called the Third Eye; the energy that creates ideas springs from it. The seventh center is at the top of the head and it manipulates the energy of Will-Power-Purpose.

As a person progresses through numerous lifetimes as a human being, these centers of energy open and begin their circulation, and a corresponding negative or female energy circulates in the aura. A lowly evolved person may have only the bottom center or two opened, while a highly evolved initiate will have energy circulating unimpeded through all seven centers.

Correspondingly, the atoms have seven energy centers which open into circulation as the atom evolves from hydrogen to radium. These seven centers found in the orbit of the atom are called electron shells. The chemist designates them by the letters K, L, M, N, O, P, and Q It is interesting to note that radium is the first element to have all centers opened and it naturally glows in the dark. In the same way, a human with his centers opened will sometimes have such a strong aura that he will glow and have a visible radiance, like the Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration.

The energy centers of the atom are divided into numerous subshells and orbitals, and correspondingly the seven chakras are subdivided into numerous energy petals.

The most interesting correspondence for the sake of this treatise is that each atom is polarized in either positive or negative (male or female) energy and they marry each other.

The secret behind the marriage of atoms and the production of a stable Molecule is the master secret to the building blocks of the universe. This universal marriage, which we shall name Molecular Marriage, or The Molecular Relationship, creates for us a pattern that man must follow or remain forever separate and single, damned of his evolutionary progression. After eons and eons of time, humanity has finally reached a point where he must take his next giant leap into the evolution of life.

The Gathering of Lights, Chapter 1

To Prevail As God

The story of Israel is the story of humanity.  Israel was a microcosm of the human race intended to be an ensign to her brethren. Israel was to exemplify a closeness with God and spiritual progress that would be admired and imitated by other races just as Christ lived an exemplary life that will eventually be duplicated by us all. The life of Christ fulfilled its purpose. Israel did not. The perfect example worthy of emulation is yet waiting to be set. The greatest drawback of Israel through the ages has been her separateness — the chosen people syndrome. The feeling that they are more approved by God because of their birth or race. The feeling that they are special in Gods eyes above others. Those who claim to be modern Israelites (Jews and non-Jews) do not stop to think that if Hitler had not had this “special” feeling about himself and his own people that there would have been no holocaust and no World Was II.  This feeling of being special, or better in the eyes of God because of some life’s mission has been the cause of more pain and misery among mankind that any other thing. Equally damaging are unthinking followers who support other men or races in this feeling of specialness. Without support these special beings could not sew their seeds of destruction.

In this writing we will explore the true destiny of Israel showing how she is to be a benefit to mankind and a help to her brothers, and moreover that Israel is lying latent in each member of the human race waiting to be awakened.

The word Israel is first used in the Bible in connection with the patriarch Jacob. In the book of Genesis we are

told that he and a supernatural being had an actual wrestling match and Jacob prevailed to the extent that the entity could not escape his grip. Jacob told him that he would not let him go unless he were given a blessing to which the messenger agreed and said: “Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel.” Gen 32:38 From that time on Jacob was known as Israel and his descendants were (and many still are) called “the children of Israel” or “Israel”.

Whether or not the story of Jacob is true or symbolic is not important here. The needful point here is the meaning behind the whole story of Israel and, more particularly at present, the meaning behind the word itself.

The word “Israel” comes from the Hebrew YISRAEL. The first part of the word is derived from the prime root SARAH which literally means “to prevail” or to “have power”. It is sometimes used to indicate a princely or royal power.  The second half of the word is EL. This word is translated as “God” numerous times throughout the Old Testament.  When it is not used in this connection it means “mighty” or “strong” and implies superhuman goodness or strength.

If we put these combinations together we have several possible meanings among which are: “To prevail as God”, “to have royal power as God”, or “to prevail through great strength and goodness”. Some say that it should mean “prince of God”, but this is a watered down euphemism designed to conform to orthodoxy.

In examining the first rendition (“to prevail as God”) one may wonder why such a title would have been bestowed upon a man for surely man was not intended to prevail or have power as God. Is not this a bold title to assume?

It may seem bold, but it is also quite fitting, for did not Jacob prevail and have power over an angel of God, or possibly more than an angel? After the entity left it is written: “And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel (Which means the “face or appearance of God): for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Gen 32:30

Most religionists call this personage an angel, but eh Bible does not. The scriptures call him two things. He is called “a man” (Gen 32:24) and “God (Gen 32:30). The amazing thing is that Jacob being a man prevailed

over another person who was called a “god”. Therefore, he was given a name which meant “to prevail as God” for only a God could overpower another God.

Jacob, however, was not the first Israel for others before him had obtained similar powers to prevail. Among them were Abraham, Melchizedek, Enoch, Seth, and Adam. The Israel power in man became obvious when man first used his free agency to sample good and evil “and the Lord God said, Behold, THE MAN IS TO BECOME AS ONE OF US, to know good and evil.” Gen 3:22

The Creators here recognized that the man was to become eventually like unto them (“One of us”). They realized that man had latent within him the power of Israel, or the power to prevail even as they did. They knew that man was like unto the son of God, or the Creators, and that eventually a son grows to be like unto his father.

Moses himself said: “ye are the children of the Lord your God.” Deut 14:1. Paul wrote: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. . .” Rom 8:16-17 Moreover, God is called “the Father of spirits”. Heb 12:9.

In addition Paul said: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” I Cor 13:6. If the Spirit of God dwells in man then obviously a God dwells in man that is waiting to be recognized. This is why Paul told us: “LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU, which was in also Christ Jesus:  Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.” Phil 2:5-6. Interestingly we are told to actually be of the same mind as Christ and to think it not robbery to be “equal with God”. After all it makes sense. Is not a son eventually equal with his father? Did not Jesus pray concerning his disciples: “That they may be one, AS WE ARE.”?  John 17:11,21-23.

David acknowledged this interesting doctrine: “God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.” Psalms 82:1 The word “mighty” is translated from EL or the last part of IsraEL. Remember that this word is usually rendered “God”. The word “gods” is translated from ELOHIYM which is the most common Hebrew word for God. The word “God” in “God created the heaven and the earth” is taken from this word. Thus we see that God stands in the congregation of those with the power of God to judge among these gods. Then David says: “Ye are gods (ELOHIYM); and all of you are children of the most High, but ye shall die like men.” Psalms 82:6.

Many believers who feel that greatest destiny of man is to drift for eternity in some nebulous heaven, or to be some harmless watered down being in another world will be amazed and perhaps alarmed to find this doctrine in the Bible, a doctrine espoused by esoterists for centuries. They, modern orthodoxy, could be no more upset than were the Jews who tried to stone the Christ for claiming to be a god: “for a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, I said ye are gods?  If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent unto the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” John 10:33-36

Jesus himself used this scripture as evidence that he was Emmanuel, or a God among men, but he did not use it to refer exclusively to himself, but to all Israel, or those who received and recognized the word of God. This reasoning drove the Jews to a frenzy and they again sought to kill him right on the spot “but he escaped out of their hand”.

This reasoning also adversely affects an emotionally based individual. The God within must be recognized by the intuition and the feeling man cannot properly sense it, even if his religion teaches it, and he becomes angry at others who teach such doctrines and many of them would relish a return to the days of the inquisitions.

There are many scriptures indicating that there is a god in man for man is often called a god in the Bible. The children of Heth were so impressed with Abraham that they called him a “mighty prince” Gen 23:6 This, however, is a mistranslation.  Prince comes from the Hebrew NASIY which literally means “exalted one” and “mighty” comes from ELOHIYM the word for God. A more correct translation would be: “exalted God”. The sons of Heth indeed marveled at the power of Israel in Abraham for he did prevail as a god in their eyes.

The judges in ancient Israel were often called “gods”, but it is usually mistranslated for the sake of orthodoxy:

“If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the judges (ELOHIYM – Gods), to see whether he put his hand unto his neighbor’s goods. For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges (ELOHIYM); and whom the judges (ELOHIYM) shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbor.”  Exodus 22:8-9

This word is translated correctly a few verses later: “Thou shall not revile the Gods (ELOHIYM), nor curse the ruler of thy people.” Ex 22:28. King James Version.

Jehovah himself approves of calling one with the power of Israel a god for he said to Moses: “I have made thee a god (ELOHIYM) to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall by thy prophet.” Ex 7:1 He also said: “He (Aaron) will do all the speaking to the people for you, he will be the mouthpiece and you will be the god (ELOHIYM) he speaks for.”  Ex 4:16 New English.

Moses was indeed a true Israelite for he prevailed as a god, as did Jacob, did and got the best of another ELOHIYM. God was dismayed at Israel because they disobeyed him and built the golden calf and had decided to destroy them all. The problem God faced in destroying them is that it would interfere with his promise to Abraham and to fulfill this promise he had to keep some of the promised see for breeding so he told Moses: “Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.” Ex 32:10

Moses did not want all of his labors with the people to have been in vain so he reasoned with God and told him how embarrassing it would be before the eyes of the Egyptians. They would think that there is something wrong with a god that would save a people just to destroy them in the wilderness. Then Moses reminded God that he may not be able to completely fulfil his promise to Abraham if he destroyed the whole house of Israel and left Moses alone. Moses still had his free will and if he did not cooperate it would be possible that the promise could not be fulfilled making God a covenant breaker. Thus through the powerful reasoning of Moses God was forced to change his mind. It is written: “And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.” Exodus 32:14 (Read the whole chapter.)

It should not be surprising that men like Moses and Jacob can prevail among the gods for when man was created “God said, Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness. . .” Gen 1:26 Man is then a reflection of God and has an unrecognized god within and can eventually have all the power of the creators “for the spirit of God dwelleth in us”.

It is written that man was made “a little lower than the angels . . .” Psalms 8:5, but this is a mistranslation. The Hebrew word from which angels is taken here is ELOHIYM so it should be written than man is “a little lower than the Gods”. He is a little lower, but when he recognizes the god within he can advance to the God Kingdom, or the kingdom of the Gods, and then recognize the higher beings in the universe as his brothers.

We are told that Christ “is the image of God”  II Cor 4:4 and in this relation John said: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM; for we shall see him as he is.” I John 3:2

Those who shall be like him when he shall appear are Israel, the people who can prevail as God, those who submit to the will of the god within.

The Gathering of Lights, Chapter 2

Exclusive Doctrines

There are three basic schools of thought concerning Israel today. The most commonly accepted view is that the Jewish people are Israel. Non-Jews may be adopted into the house of Israel, but only the country of Israel and the Jewish people are the “chosen” ones.

The second doctrine, such as found in the Mormon religion, teaches that the Jews are Gods chosen people, but only several tribes composed the Jewish kingdom. The descendants of Ephraim are scattered throughout the world and are also literal Israelites, but are not Jews. In addition there are the ten lost tribes whose location is unknown that will eventually be reunited with the rest of Israel.

Some believe that all or part of the ten lost tribes are hidden away in some mysterious place whereas others believe them lost because they are scattered among the various people of the earth.

The third view mainly held by white supremists maintains that the modern day Jews are not Israelites at all, but children of the devil. They claim that after the dispersions of Israel non-Israelites returned to Jerusalem and claimed to be descendants of Jacob, but were not. Just about all of the true Israelites are lost and do not know their identity. Most of the Aryan race are Israelites and the true “chosen people”. Some of these extremists view the blacks as subhuman and believe that he is the “beast of the field” talked about in the Bible. They have an even lower view of the Jews for when Christ told them that they were “of your father the devil” John 8:44 they believe he literally meant it. They believe that the devil was a physical being in the garden of Eden and begat children and the descendants are the Jews. The non-Aryan races are also looked upon as inferior and will eventually be servants to the Whites.

Even though the third view causes the greatest consternation with the average person all three are close to be

ing equally dangerous and separative. One cannot emphasize too strongly that without supportiveness and the feeling of being “chosen” above all others Hitler and his Nazi gang could have never risen to power. The forces of evil raise to power by the force of a unified supportiveness; whereas the forces of good and liberty increase through the power of unified inclusiveness. For instance the Constitution of the United States included or protected even the commonest of men and was supported by the unified will of the people, thus the forces of good expanded. The Civil War brought an inclusion of the Black to the basic freedoms of liberty again bringing an expansion of the will-to-good. The granting of suffrage to women was another inclusion. The forces of good include and evil excludes.

The evil of exclusion takes two basic forms: (1) The excluding of others, thus building individual pride and ego. (2) The excluding of self which is false humility.

The first view of Israel stimulates the second evil, the exclusion of self. Those who believe that the Jews alone are God’s chosen ones exclude themselves from this privilege, if they are not a Jew themselves. They feel that Modern Israel as God’s chosen people and are right in everything they do no matter how ruthless. This is similar to the feeling of Nazi party members towards Hitler. It is always dangerous to let any belief blind reasoning and hold the mind in check. When has blind belief or blind faith ever brought more benefit to humanity than the reasonable course of action? Never. There is not one example in history., If one finds himself supporting Israel just because she is Israel one is merely repeating the greatest most repeated mental and emotional blunder in history.

The same reasoning applies to all things. If one supports the United States Constitution just because it is our Constitution, this can lead to blindness. As good as it is, a rational mind may see possible improvements, especially as times change.

Many support their church or scriptures because it is “theirs” and “special” to them and any reasoning to the contrary is ignored. Many are so blinded that they are not even aware that they are obviating reason. Every man, no matter how blinded, believes in his own way that he is reasonable. His thinking may run something like: “It is reasonable for me to reject this man’s reasoning, because God (or some religious leader) told me I

am right so anything contrary to this thinking is evil.” Every evil ideology that has arisen in history has such people supporting it. Every good ideology from the past has always been supported by people who examine all things in the clear cold light of reason. Even men of great intuition do this. Feeling alone excludes reason whereas intuition includes it.

Even though a person may exclude himself from the full benefits of being one of the “chosen race” he often identifies with Israel through the belief of adoption, or the born again experience. Then he is simultaneously guilty of the evil of “the exclusion of others”. He believes that the is now chosen because of his faith in Christ and he will go to heaven whereas his non-believing neighbor (even though he may be a more loving person) will go to hell. He practices the evil of separateness. His neighbor (in his eyes) is just as good as in hell, while he is going to heaven merely because he is now “special” in God’s eyes. His neighbor is dead while he is alive. The man has the evil line of exclusion drawn in his consciousness.

The second doctrine is also exclusive, but this group does not exclude themselves from the benefits and chosen status of the Jews. They believe they are also Israelites, buy they exclude those who are not Jews or a member of their religion. They feel that all true Israelites will come into their church (merely because they have the blood of Israel in them) and the non-Israelites will not be attracted. Thus they look upon non-members as Gentiles and exclude them from the blessings of Israel. many of these also support every move the nation of Israel makes, right or wrong, just as they do their religious leaders.

The third ideology may seem the most extreme, but the believers; nevertheless, must be given credit for using their minds to a degree. In a confrontation with those of the first two categories the third category can usually win a debate, because he uses some reasoning, and the Bible seems to give him some support. Even though some of the most intelligent and mental souls support this doctrine, it would be the most dangerous one to be universally accepted. Many of these people believe that Hitler was on the right track, but was just a bit too ruthless. They believe the holocaust was a big farce, that it never really happened, and the world may have been a better place if Hitler had won. Not all believe the same on this idea, however.

One may wonder, why if some of these souls are advanced, that they support a dangerous doctrine. The answer is that just before a person truly develops the intuition and receives enlightenment and thinks inclusively he often finds himself in an extreme position because of certain black and white facts which seem to stare him in the face. This person takes the Bible literally and studies it systematically and reaches certain conclusions, some right and some wrong. If he makes a mistake he builds on it and does not intuitively perceive the error.

To avoid error let us go back to the beginning and establish a sure foundation.

The Gathering of Lights, Chapter 3

Universal Overview

Most of those reading this treatise will realize that the earth is far older than six thousand years as some fundamentalists teach. It is indeed billions of years in age. The solar system itself is far older. Our solar system has an interplay with seven other systems which order is of a greater age still. In our solar system there is a sun circled by twelve planets. Nine have been discovered and three are as of yet unknown to man. Within the sun are at least twelve spheres of energy to provide the counterbalance to the forces played upon by the planets; thus making our solar system similar in makeup to a giant atom. Each body in the universe is an expression of God and possesses a life and consciousness of some kind, and many of them are above or below our present understanding. The earth, sun, solar system and every other system and particle in the universe are possessed with some type of life and consciousness and all these lives together form the “one God”. In addition, each of these lives are connected to seven different world’s or fields or vibration all at the same time we and must eventually explore and master them all. These seven different fields of vibration make up one wavelength in a cosmic universe we know nothing of. There are indeed worlds without end.

The lives of the globes such as the earth and sun are greater, much greater, than human for they include the human. They also operate on a different time frame so it is well neigh impossible for human consciousness to understand them. Each globe is also in a different state of spiritual progression. Sirius is much more advanced than our sun, for instance, and Venus is much farther along than the Earth. Just as the bacteria in our bodies cannot understand our purpose even so can we not fathom the collective intelligence of an entire planetary body or a solar logos. If time were sped up so that the life of a planet covering billions of years was as if it were the seventy-two years of a mortal man then we would see that the planets themselves are not without freedom of movement and agency. They jot in and out of orbit and have close encounters with other planetary bodies and live a personality life within their system. If the life of the Sun which covers more billions of years than recognized by current science were speeded up to an even greater degree so that this greater period was seen as seventy-two years then we would witness the personality of the Sun. We would see that it darts about the constellations and deviates from its projected course according to its free will. The double stars we see in the heavens are not always permanent fixtures, but a temporary visit of a neighboring star.

This same principle applies to entire galaxies and systems of galaxies which are on a slower time scale still until we come to the universe itself which merely makes up a giant particle drifting unorganized in greater space.

On the reverse side the smallest particle has not been found. The atom is composed of a nucleus of protons and neutrons with electrons circling around it. Each of these particles is a miniature universe which has a consciousness peculiar to itself, but its time frame is millions of times faster (relatively) than ours to the extent that time has ceased there and the tiny lives blend with the higher consciousness of our universe as they create something greater than themselves.

The circle in spiral motion is the grand key to the universe. No matter how large or small it will be found that one particle will be circling (or moving toward circling) around another. No matter how small the particle it will be moving around some center. We have particles circling around other particles, yet life and consciousness is everywhere to be found.

When life reaches the end of its evolution it becomes radioactive. This is observable in the mineral kingdom in radium and uranium and the manmade elements. We see radiation in the plant kingdom in the perfumes it generates. This is an indication of their high state of evolution within their own sphere.

Humans generate several kinds of radiation. When they advance to the god kingdom and overcome the “last enemy” death, as Christ did, the door to the tomb bursts open and the radiant being comes forth which is a similitude of the creating of atomic energy on a different plane of livingness.

A form of planetary radiation is reached as its inhabitants engage in space travel which eventually becomes interplanetary and interstellar. These tiny lives (in a

galactic sense) radiate forth and eventually stimulate other planets and systems until they radiate also creating a macrocosmic chain reaction.

Our earth is part of this macrocosmic chain reaction.

Reincarnation and the Bible, Part 1

This entry is part 1 of 5 in the series Reincarnation & the Bible

ONE LIFE OR MANY?

During my childhood I did not go to any particular church and my parents did not try to influence me toward any particular religion or philosophy.  Therefore, as I look back I see that my earliest thoughts on life were those of a little child forming his most natural conclusions.

One of those natural ideas I formulated was that if God is indeed good  as everyone had said then he must give us all the chances we need to gain all the experience we want and to live full abundant lives.  I thought of how much I looked forward to growing up and making my mark on the world, then of how terrible it would be if some accident took my life.  I thought that surely God would provide some way for me to come back and have the opportunity to fulfill my hopes and dreams.

One day a visiting neighbor was telling my mother about a book she had read entitled:  The Search For Bridie Murphy and she explained the theory of how we are born again and again into this earth life.  I was immediately attracted to this idea for it blended in with my natural thoughts and I continued to believe it until I became active in a conservative church about the age of thirteen.

Around this period I mentioned my belief in reincarnation to one of the brethren.  He seemed shocked and said:  “You’ve got it all wrong.  Reincarnation is the doctrine of the devil. We only live one life, then we are resurrected  to die no more.”

I asked him if there was anything in the  scriptures about having only one life.

At that point he turned to Hebrews 9:27 and read:   “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

I then looked at the verse and read it several times.  Sure enough.  The Bible did seem to say that we live only once.  There fore, there could be no reincarnation.  I was  very disappointed. It seemed unfair that many people are cut off and unable to enjoy the full fruits of mortality.

On the other hand, I was told by the brethren that the next world was better than this one and it was really a blessing to die early to escape trials and tribulations.  This idea did not help, however, for I looked forward to whatever trials this life may have to offer and, furthermore, I noticed that my fellow church members did not look forward to ending their life either. None seemed anxious to enter that better “other world”;  instead, I heard comments such as:  “I hope Jesus doesn’t come till I am older and I get a chance to do a few things.”    Or:  “I hope I live until I can raise my family.”  Often they would express an interest in living until they are a certain ripe old age.

Nevertheless, I reluctantly accepted the idea of the one life “because the Bible said so” and held to it faithfully for about

fourteen years.    But during this period I did not feel satisfied with the answers I had to the questions of: Where did I come from? Why am I here?  and Where am I going?  The church had pat answers, but they left many unanswered questions they called mysteries that were not important to our salvation.

The unfairness of orthodox doctrine is what bothered me most. What about people who die with dreams unfulfilled?   What about babies that die with no chance of participating in mortality? What about those who are killed before accomplishing their heart’s desire?

The mindless answer that God would take care of things just left me vacant and helped to keep my mind open to greater light and truth.

It was my study of regression, however, that caused me to seriously consider reincarnation again.  It has long been known that a person can be guided back to any time in his past and relive it as if it were occurring all over again.  This can be done through hypnosis or by merely directing the mind to return.

I did many experiments with regression and watched with fascination as people returned to their early childhood, even the day they were born to recall events verified by older family members. I was often tempted to take individuals back beyond the date they were born, but for a long time I almost felt it was sacrilege,. I also found myself being somewhat fearful and apprehensive of what I may find.

Nevertheless, one can only suppress curiosity so long and eventually I did take someone back before birth.

The first person I regressed to a previous life was  a young lady. I was quite surprised at the ease and familiarity with which she went back.   She recalled a life over one hundred years ago in the North east of England and began speaking in an English accent recounting events from that life.   Anyone listening would have been amazed at the accent coming  from one who had never been to England in this life.  However, I was particularly startled because I had spent several years in Britain and most of it in the area she described.

Anyone who travels England becomes acutely aware that most of England does not speak the “Queen’s English”, but there are numerous dialects.  There can be a noticeable accent change in a distance of fifty miles.  However, there is a marked difference between the way the people in the North and South of England speak.  I believe it is a greater difference than the accent change between the North and South of the United States.

What amazed me is that this young lady said she had lived in the northeastern part  of England and her accent exactly duplicated the dialect in that area.  We must take into consideration that the Northeast British accent is much more difficult to imitate than the Queen’s English which is usually used by movie stars.

In America one rarely hears a North British accent over the media and I was 99% sure that the female involved had never even once heard a North Englander speak – at least in this life.

Another time I was attending a church party and decided to liven it up somewhat.  I told the group that I could take people back to any point in their lives, even the day of birth, and have them re call it.  People seemed interested in this and the first volunteer was a newly married lady whose husband was out shopping for some snacks for us.

I not only took her back to her youth, but before the entire non believing crowd I took her back into three past lives.  In two of them she knew her current husband.  One life was back in prehistoric times when they had no names and the other was in the days of the Roman Empire.  She said she was married to a Roman senator named Marcus Aurelius who was later killed in a battle.

The details she gave certainly awed everyone there, but the best was still to come.  When her husband came home everyone insisted that I take him back also.  He was a good subject and regressed to prehistoric times and described the same surroundings that his wife had. But then, amazingly, he went back to the days of the Roman Empire and said his name was Marcus Aurelius, a Roman senator who was killed in Battle.

Everyone was so stunned at this that they began to doubt their belief in the   church and I found myself being the one to reassure them that the church was correct and not to let this bother them for I still felt that there must be some logical explanation besides reincarnation.  Even this and other amazing regressions did not make me cast aside my church’s doctrine in the one mortal life.

I will not make the effort here to recall how, time after time, I was presented with evidence that there is more than one mortal life, but each time I refused to believe it until I was hit with an explosive piece of personal evidence  that had no other explanation than reincarnation.  I found myself face to face with reality. I had to either deny the logical process completely and doubt my own ability to come to a truthful conclusion, or open my mind and sincerely ask myself if I could have been wrong.

Then the thought occurred to me:  If reincarnation is a true doctrine I should be able to find evidence of it in the Bible.  I will “search the scriptures” with an open mind and see what is truly there.

As I started my search I realized that I knew of only one scripture that seemed to refute reincarnation and that was the one previously quoted from Hebrews 9:27:   “And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.”

The “once to die” sounds like an absolute statement not open to debate until we realize that it is boldly contradicted by the Bible itself:  “They (the dead) were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast (to suffer a second death) into the lake of fire.”  Rev 20:12-15

The book of Revelations has quotes from John, an angel, and Jesus Christ, all using the phrase “second death” so we know there has to be one.  Thus it is quite obvious that if Paul were writing the truth he did not literally mean “once to die” except perhaps once per lifetime, or that  there is one general mortality passed upon all mankind.

There are other scriptures that are quite deceiving if they are read with a black and white state of mind:  A pertinent one was made by Paul again.  He said:  “I die daily.”  I Cor 15:31 He also said:  “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience…It is a shame for women to speak in the church.”  I Cor 14:34-35  Paul also advised the saints to remain single as he was (I Cor 7:7) and if they were married to not have sex (I Cor 7:29).

Jesus told us to cut off our right hand if it offends us (Matt 5:30) and talked about making oneself a eunuch (literally a castrated person) for the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 19:12)

If we do not read difficult passages like these in their correct context and with some knowledge of the customs and beliefs of that ancient era we may reject the whole Bible as being the work of madmen.

Let us examine the verse that precedes the “once to die” scripture:  “But now once in the end of the world hath he (Christ) appeared to put away sin by sacrifice of himself.”  Heb 9:26

If we read this verse literally we are led to believe that Jesus appeared only once at the end of the world to sacrifice him self.  Two thousand years has passed since then so those who thought Paul was talking about the real “end of the world” were wrong. Also, Jesus did not appear once  but appeared many times to many people.

To interpret this  scripture accurately one has to read it in its correct context as well as examine the Greek from which it was translated.

In examining the Greek we find that the word “world” is a mistranslation.  It comes from the word AION.  The modern English word “eon” is derived from this and it means “an age”.  Thus we see that Jesus came once at not the end of the world, but the end of the ages as the word is plural here. We realize that his “one” coming refers to his general life (with all his numerous appearances counted as one) at the end of one age and the beginning of a new one.

Here we see that Hebrews 9:26 cannot be interpreted in a black and white literal manner.  How about the next verse?  Does it mean what it seems to mean?  Are we really appointed only “once to die” or is there more meaning here below the surface?  Are there many deaths within the one death as there were many “comings” within the one general first coming of Christ?  Is it talking about physical death or spiritual death?  If it is talking about spiritual death, then that would leave open the possibility of more than one physical death.

In examining this scripture there are three words that are generally overlooked:  “men”, “but”, and “judgment”.  We’ll quote this scripture one more time emphasizing  these:   ‘And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”  Men comes from the Greek ANTHROPOS which in this context indicates the human race as a whole.

The word “but” here is quite interesting.  It comes from the Greek DE  which literally means  contrariwise.   In other words, it indicates that the information that is forthcoming may contradict that which has just been said.

That would  mean   that “after this the judgment” may have an opposite meaning to “it is appointed unto men once to die”. It would indicate an exception as in the sentence:  “I rise every morning at 8:00 A.M., except when the alarm doesn’t go off.”

“After this the judgment” does not sound like it contradicts or has an opposite meaning to “once to die” so let us look closer to see  what the original language says.  Judgment comes from the Greek  word  KRISIS.  This is one of the most misunderstood words in the entire Bible.  Translators don’t quite seem to know how to handle it and seem to render it according to their bias rather than the actual meaning.  In the King James version they have rendered it:  accusation, condemnation, damnation, and judgment.  These words all have diverse meanings, but none of them are an exact translation.

The modern English word “crisis” (which is derived from the Greek KRISIS) is a more accurate rendering than the Bible translations. The actual Greek word implies a decision that brings correction. If it is used in connection with the word “judgment”  the idea of a corrective judgment should be implied.

Another mistranslation in this verse is the phrase “to die”. It is more correctly rendered “to be  dying”.  Let us now take into consideration these corrections and render the verse as close as possible to the Greek:   “And as it is reserved for mankind once tr. be dying, but on the other hand, after this [after the state of dying is over we have] the judgment [or KRISIS the decision to correct the state of death].

The verse could be describing either a spiritual death, physical death or both.

The word KRISIS is used in another very interesting scripture:

“The hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation (KRISIS).” John 5:28-29

Notice here that John tells us that there are two resurrections: (1) The resurrection of life, and (2) the resurrection of damnation or KRISIS.

“Damnation” is an incorrect word for translators to use.  The second resurrection should more appropriately be called “the resurrection of correction” or “the resurrection which forces correct decisions”.

The word “resurrection” comes from the Greek ANASTASIS which literally means “to stand up again” or “to come to life again”. The word does not imply that the new life will always be an immortal one as indicated by the following scripture:  “Women received their dead raised to life again (from the same Greek word ANASTASIS): and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection.”  (ANASTASIS) Heb. 11:35.

The reference “women received their dead raised to life again” refers to miracles performed by Elijah and Elisha where the dead were revived to a mortal existence.  Here the word ANASTASIS refers to something other than an immortal life.

Here is another interesting scripture spoken by the Christ years before his resurrection:  “The Son can do nothing of him self, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise…For as the Father RAISETH UP THE DEAD,  and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.”  John 5:19h21

Here we are plainly told that the dead were raised to life again by the power of the Father BEFORE the resurrection of Jesus.

On the other hand Paul said that Jesus was “THE FIRST that should raise from the dead.”  Acts 26:23.

This seems like a paradox.  On one hand we are told that there were resurrections before Jesus and that both the Father and the Son raised up any of the dead that they wished.  On the other hand it is written that Jesus was the first to raise from the dead.  How is this to be explained?

It is quite simple.  There are two resurrections.  Jesus was the first to attain to the resurrection of life.   But the second type of resurrection, the resurrection of KRISIS or correction has been occurring since the beginning.

The resurrection of KRISIS or correction can refer to one being revived to mortal life in the same body as Lazareth was, or it could refer to being “born again” in a new body with a new life experience giving us an opportunity to “correct” our imperfections.

Jesus was not the first to attain the resurrection of KRISIS, but he was the first to gain the resurrection of life.

It was the resurrection of life that Paul spoke of when he said that it was something he had to attain:  “If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.  Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after.”  Phil 3:11-12.

Paul indicates that we must be “perfect” to “attain” this resurrection.  He can  only be referring to the resurrection of life for Jesus said that all the evil ones go to “the resurrection of correction”  while they who have done good attain the “better resurrection”.

This makes sense doesn’t it?  We are sent again and again to the resurrection of correction to live life after life on the earth and then when we have corrected our errors and become without sin as was Jesus we “attain” unto the resurrection of “life” and “this mortal must put on  immortality”. I Cor 15:53.

How do we avoid the resurrection of correction?  The Lord tells us:  “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation (from KRISIS, the resurrection of correction): but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24

The scriptures plainly tell  us that by hearing, believing, and doing the words of God so that we are perfected leads to escaping the resurrection of Krisis and “attaining” the resurrection of life.

With this knowledge in mind we can place still another interpretation on Hebrews 9:27:  “And as it is appointed unto men once to die (in this present age), on the other hand after this comes the resurrection of correction” (where we will be born and die again in a future age.)

Reincarnation and the Bible, Part 2

This entry is part 2 of 5 in the series Reincarnation & the Bible

WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH

Paul tells us plainly that all will not attain the resurrection of life. He said “the wages of sin is death”. When we sin we need correction so we are sent to the resurrection of KRISIS where we are again in mortal bodies subjected to death. Paul further said: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God (sin), him shall God DESTROY; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” I Cor 3:16-17.

Those who continue to sin and suffer the resurrection of KRISIS are reborn and live a mortal existence where their temple of God (their body) dies or is destroyed. Interestingly “destroy” comes from the Greek PHTHIO which means “to waste, spoil, or decay”. That certainly describes the mortality we experience in the resurrection of KRISIS.

It is only fitting that Paul said that “the last enemy to be destroyed is death.” I Cor 15:26. This is because we are born again and again into the resurrection of KRISIS until we have corrected all of our mistakes. The very last correction we make is when we overcome death and “put on immortality”.

Jesus admonished us to follow in his footsteps: “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, EVEN AS I ALSO OVERCAME, and am sat down with the Father in his throne.” Rev. 3:21 If we are to overcome as did Jesus then we must obey the injunction: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Matt 5:48 I do not know of even one person who has attained perfection and overcome all things as did Jesus. Consequently, the only way the scriptures can be fulfilled is for one to be physically born again until he can live a life without sin just as Jesus did. Those in the kingdom of man must literally be “born again” to enter the kingdom of God.

When that happens the promise will be fulfilled where Jesus said: “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and HE SHALL GO NO MORE OUT.” Rev. 3:12 We will have to “go no more out” of one physical body into another- one when we have overcome all things.

Until that time Jesus tells us that “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, (of physical bodies), and find pasture.” John 10:9.

After we go in and out and find pasture the time will come when: “he that overcometh and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I GIVE POWER OVER THE NATIONS: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: EVEN AS I RECEIVED OF MY FATHER.” Rev. 2:26-27

These scriptures we have quoted make it very clear that there are two resurrections. We enter the resurrection of KRISIS each time we fall short of the glory of Christ. When this happens God causes our bodies to be destroyed. He asks us to “overcome” “even as I overcame”. Obviously we cannot overcome AS he did unless we will eventually live a perfect life as he did on the Earth.

Jesus said that we will do “greater works” than he did. John 14:12. To this day I know of no one who has done greater works than Jesus, but when the time comes that some of us are living our last life to “attain” the resurrection of life, then will the world see these greater works. At that time we will come to the “knowledge of the Son of God, UNTO A PERFECT MAN, unto the-measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Eph 4:13. When one becomes “a perfect man” he then receives “power over the nations” as promised.

Reincarnation is merely the result of the law of cause and effect as pointed out by Paul: ‘if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that SHALL HE ALSO REAP. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh REAP CORRUPTION (the resurrection of KRISIS or rebirth in mortality); but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap LIFE EVERLASTING” (or the resurrection of life).. Gal 6:3-6.

Again we have here a vivid description of the two resurrections. The word “corruption” here comes from the Greek PHTHORA which is derived from PHTHEIRO the word that is used when Paul said that God shall “destroy” the defiled temples. PHTHORA indicates a state of “decay”. Thus Paul is simply telling us over and over again that if our mind is centered on carnal things we will return not to some state of immortality, but will “reap corruption” or decay.

Paul even goes so far as to warn us to not be deceived for God is not mocked on this matter. He further says that “flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the kingdom of God; neither doeth corruption (obviously referred to here as flesh and blood) inherit incorruption.” I Cor 15:50.

Here the “corruption” that we reap is, identified as “flesh and blood”. This is only logical since all flesh and blood is proceeding toward death and decay. After all Paul said that the corruption would be reaped “of the flesh”.

Since flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God that simply means that if we fall short of it we will be “born again” in this state of “corruption” or flesh and blood. Flesh and blood is the resurrection of KRISIS and we must come back again and a gain and inherit this corruption until we have “corrected” all of our mistakes and attain the resurrection of life or “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Eph 4:13

Jesus was subtly referring to the resurrection of KRISIS when he said: “Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.” Matt 5:26

No orthodox Christian has ever answered this question: If we reap according to how we have sowed and if we “of the flesh reap corruption” and we die before we have reaped all that is due us, then how can we reap “of the flesh” with no flesh? How can we reap corruption if there is no corruption?

The only answer is reincarnation. We must return to mortality if we are to reap corruption in the flesh. Is there another way to fulfill the scripture without mocking God? Verily no.

The principle of reaping as we sow is repeated many times in the Bible. Jesus said: “ALL they that take the sword shall PERISH with the sword.” Matt 26:52. Now it is obvious that many people in history have slain with the sword, yet died a peaceful death. Why then did Jesus use the word “all”? Why did he say these words to Peter in an effort to get him to put away his sword and cease his attack on the angry mob? Obviously, if Peter went forth and killed with the sword then he would have to reap what he sowed and come back (even if it was a future life) and reap destruction by a sword or some similar destructive weapon.

This is confirmed in the thirteenth chapter of Revelations where we are told about the Anti-Christ who will slay all those who will not worship his image and will have power over the Saints. Here the saints are told why they must suffer: “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword MUST be killed with the sword. HERE IS THE PATIENCE AND THE FAITH OF THE SAINTS.” Rev 13:10

In other words, the reason the patience and the faith of the saints is tested so is because of mistakes they made in past lives. In previous lives they killed with the sword as Peter wanted to do. They also lead others into captivity even as did Paul before his conversion. Thus when the saints are persecuted they are often reaping what they have sowed in previous lives. This answers the eternal question as to why some of the best people must suffer so. They are paying off debts from a past era when they were not so good. When one becomes a disciple of Christ he must pay the “utter most farthing”, for Jesus said: “Everyone shall be salted with fire.” Mark 9:49

This principle was further emphasized by the Lord’s own mouth to Noah: “And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, BY MAN SHALL HIS BLOOD BE SHED: for in the image of God made he man.” Gen 9:5-6

Of course, there have been many who have shed blood who have not reaped what they have sowed. But remember “God will not be mocked” and let the person escape the punishment he has decreed. He will be reborn and “of the flesh” reap his just reward with interest.

The principle of rebirth also helps us to understand the dialog that God had with Cain: [God said to Cain:] “A fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth… [And Cain said:] I shall be a fugitive and vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that everyone that findeth me shall slay me.” Gen 4:12-14

Notice here that Cain expects to be slain more than once. Also study the Lord’s response: “And the Lord said unto him, therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him SEVENFOLD. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.” Gen 4:15

There are several things that do not make sense here without re incarnation. First, Cain was told he would be a fugitive and vagabond in the earth, but instead the scripture tells us that he settled in the land of Nod and built a city named Enoch. (See Gen 4:16-17) It sounds as if Cain was fairly settled in that life. One would have to stretch the imagination to call him a fugitive and vagabond in the earth so how could the decree of God be fulfilled? Reincarnation is a possible answer. It’s quite probable that Cain has been reborn a number of times and has been a vagabond in the earth more than once.

Cain also made the interesting statement: “Everyone, that findeth me shall slay me.” indicating he expected to be slain more than once. But the scriptures give no indication that Cain died other than a natural death in that life.

Finally we are told that whoever kills Cain will have vengeance taken on him “sevenfold”. The question arises: How do you take seven fold vengeance on murder? If a killer is put to death then the vengeance is merely onefold; yet, short of torture, that is the worst punishment that can be inflicted. Taking this into consideration how else can the Lord take vengeance “sevenfold” on murder unless the man gives his life seven times?

In other words, if a man kills Cain, or possibly one of his descendants, thinking he deserves it then he would have to forfeit his life in seven different lifetimes to pay for the deed. That seems like a stiff punishment, but we probably do not know the whole story here.

We are told that a terrible reaping will be given out to those who change the revelations of God: “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book (the book of Revelations), If any man shall add unto these things, God shall ADD unto him THE PLAGUES that are written in this book. Rev. 22:18

Now for an interesting question… Why did John warn those in the first century that if they added extra words to his book that they would suffer the plagues, which plagues would not come upon the earth for another two thousand years? How could a scribe living in the first century (who commits the sin of adding words to John’s book) suffer the plagues unless he were here reborn thousands of years later?

The plagues from the Book of Revelation include such things as men dying of waters that are polluted, men being killed by the symbolic beast, men being scorched by the heat of the sun. people receiving sores over their bodies and numerous others.

How could a person from the first century possibly receive these physical plagues unless he is here, born again in a physical body???

We also find that those who have shed the blood of saints and the prophets in past ages will come back and suffer the plagues: “And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and upon the fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. FOR THEY HAVE SHED THE BLOOD OF SAINTS AND PROPHETS, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.” Rev. 16:4-6

It seems only fair that those who have shed the blood of the prophets through the ages will have to come back and reap the harvest of their deeds by drinking blood in a future lifetime.

Reincarnation and the Bible, Part 3

This entry is part 3 of 5 in the series Reincarnation & the Bible

PROOF THAT MAN EXISTED BEFORE BIRTH

The orthodox Christian believes that man began at birth, but after that point in time he will live on endlessly never dying again. In other words, before birth for every person there is a total blank. He was nothing. He did not exist.

To begin with this is a mathematical impossibility. If a line has a beginning and no end then it extends in to infinity. Every mathematics class teaches that one half of infinity is still infinity. In other words, if a thing has no end mathematically it has to have no beginning. Nothing exists in nature which has no end unless it had no beginning. Anything in nature that has a beginning can be proven to have an end.

A ring provides a good example of this principle. It is circular and has no beginning and no ending point. On the other hand, if one puts a slit in it one will have both a beginning and an end. Nevertheless, it is impossible to cut or mold the ring in such a fashion as to produce an object with a beginning but no end. Such a form does not exist anywhere because one half of infinity is still infinity.

Those who believe in reincarnation recognize the fact that the body of form we live in has both a beginning and an end, but there is within us an intelligent part of God that is one with God and never had a beginning or end. Paul talks about this and calls it “eternal” which would mean without beginning or end: “The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle (the physical body) were dissolved, we have a building of God, (our Spirits) an house not made with hands, ETERNAL in the heavens.” II Cor 4:18; 5:1.

Here we are clearly told that if the body were dissolved we will yet have an “eternal” house to live in, or that eternal part of ourselves we call the Spirit. If it is eternal as Paul says then it existed before birth for that which is everlasting has neither beginning or end.

Paul tells us that this eternal part of us is connected with the Heavens. No wonder Jesus told us that “The kingdom of God is within”.

Paul mentions again this spirit: “I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, “whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether OUT OF THE BODY, I cannot tell: God knoweth) such an one caught up to the third heaven.” II Cor 12:2.

Paul’s out of body experience is really not that unusual for now that mankind has ceased burning out-of-the-ordinary persons at the stake people are talking more-about their spiritual experiences. Many who have experienced the near death state have re ported actually leaving their bodies in the spirit and returning with an accurate memory of all the conversations of the doctors and nurses.

Some who have gone through this report that their spirit body is connected to their physical by a silver cord of great elasticity. Many believe that death occurs when this silver cord is severed. Interestingly, the Bible makes reference to this: “Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel be broken at the cistern. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall RETURN unto God who gave it.” ECCL. 12:6-7

Evidently Solomon had knowledge of the silver cord which connects the spirit and body as well as the golden bowl which is a golden etheric life energy (invisible to the untrained eye) which ceases or is “broken” also at death. The broken pitcher and wheel describe a cessation of bodily functions.

Next we are told that at death the spirit “returns” to God. One may object here and say that if there is reincarnation then why doesn’t the spirit go to a new body. The objector forgets that there is always a resting space between lives and during this interim period the spirit returns to God.

The word “return” here is a powerful proof for a premortal existence. If all that which is us began at birth how can we return to God? If orthodox Christian thought is true all we could return to would be nothingness. We can only return to God if we came from God and we can only come from the presence of God if we had some form of existence with him before birth.

The scriptures reveal that the Lord knew numerous people before they were born. Concerning Jacob and Esau he said: “The Elder shall serve the younger.” Gen 25:23 Eve said of Cain: “I have gotten a man FROM the Lord.” Gen 4:1 Another good example comes from Jeremiah: “Then came the word of the Lord unto me saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jer 1:4-5

Concerning himself Isaiah said: “The Lord called me from (can be translated ‘before’) the womb; and from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.” Isa 49:1

Of John the Baptist it is written: “There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.” John 1:6

Evidently The Lord knew Paul before his birth for he said: “He (Paul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.” This was spoken before Paul began his work. Paul also wrote that God “set me apart from (or before) birth and called me through his grace.” Gal 1:15 New English. We are told that the saints are written in “the book of life from the foundation of the world.” Rev. 17:8

In addition we are supposed to be “In hope of eternal life which God who cannot lie promised BEFORE the world began.” Titus 1:2 How did God promise eternal life to us before the world began if we were not there? It would be silly for God to make promises to nothingness.

The scriptures seem to make it crystal clear that people existed, were called, ordained, and had promises made to them before they were born. It makes it amazing to see the objections that come forth. The objector says that Jeremiah and others were not in existence before they were born, but they were in God’s mind like an architect has a building in his mind. Therefore, they feel it was like God “sanctified”, “ordained”, “knew”, and “promised” to a blueprint. The argument sounds very weak to anyone who thinks about it. One doesn’t have to “Wrest” the scriptures when he merely accepts them the way they read.

The Bible gives us powerful evidence that Job was with God before he was born. In chapter 38 God is reprimanding Job for questioning his wisdom and sovereignty and reminds him of works and events which he is supposed to already be aware of. He tells Job that he will demand an answer of him evidently aware that Job should know the answer to the following: “Where was thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding…When the morning stars sang together, and all the SONS OF GOD shouted for joy?” Job 38:4~6.

Who are the “sons of God”? The scriptures give a clear answer. John the beloved said: “WE are the sons of God…” I John 3:2

It is only fitting that we should be called the “sons of God” for he is called the Father of our spirits in Heb 12:9 Paul also said: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that WE are the children of God.” Rom. 8:16

Since Job was one of the sons of God and “ALL the sons of God shouted for joy” at the foundation of the earth then Job had to be there shouting for joy with them. Evidently, the sons of God (which included you and me) were rejoicing over the planet that was prepared for us to inhabit.

Who are the “morning stars (that) sang together”? They were the lightbringers and the prophets to the people of earth with the Christ being at the head. Jesus said: “I AM … the bright and morning star.” Rev 22:16 Others will be given the morning star and evidently become morning stars them selves in a future round. (See Rev. 2:28)

The writer of Proverbs gives us a definite confirmation that the sons of men were present at the foundation of the world. The voice speaking in the eighth chapter of Proverbs is identified as wisdom and understanding. In other words, the wisdom and understanding of God has always been in existence and Solomon writes of it as if it were an entity: “Doth not wisdom cry? and under standing put forth her voice?”

After explaining some of the attributes of wisdom the writer emphasizes how long wisdom has been around and how eternal she is: “The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: When he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: When he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; rejoicing in the habitable part of HIS EARTH; and my delights were WITH THE SONS OF MEN. ” Prov 8:1,22-31.

This scripture makes it clear that when God promised us “eternal life…before the world began” (Titus 1.2) that he was not merely speaking to blueprints, but the “sons of men” were with him in “the habitable part of HIS EARTH.” Evidently, we dwelt on another earth in another time where the wisdom of God was manifested. Here the Bible clearly tells us that the sons of men are very ancient beings.

Orthodox people will not like the above interpretation, but they can produce no argument against it. It must be frustrating for them to even read it.

This Proverbs scripture, however, helps us understand numerous scriptures from the New Testament. For instance, Paul said: “For whom he did fore know he did predestinate.” Peter said that the Saints were “elect according to the foreknowledge of God.” Evidently God gained this “foreknowledge” of us “in the habitable part of his (God’s) earth”.

Another powerful witness that we have had a pre-mortal existence comes from the eleventh chapter of Hebrews. This is a famous chapter on the faith of the prophets (the Morning Stars) on the promises of God. One of the most interesting promises God has made concerns the heavenly city of the New Jerusalem. In describing this city John said he “saw the holy city of the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband ( Jesus Christ). And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the TABERNACLE OF GOD is with men, and he shall dwell with them…And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Rev. 21:2-3,14

It’s quite possible that the new Jerusalem is presently located “in the habitable part of his (God’s) earth.” The author of Hebrews tells the saints who presently dwell there’ “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the City of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant.” Heb. 12:22-24

From these verses we have quoted we find that the inhabitants of the heavenly city Sion (Zion) or the new Jerusalem are: (1) God (2) The twelve apostles (3) Jesus (4) Angels (5) The general assembly (6) The church of the firstborn (7) The spirits of just men made perfect.

The question naturally arises as to how long the city of the New Jerusalem has been in existence and how long the various types of inhabitants have been there.

Since the New Jerusalem in heaven is the habitation of God one would assume it is very ancient. One thing we know for sure is that it is older than Abraham for the scripture says: “He (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations (the twelve apostles of the Lamb), whose builder and maker is God.” Heb. 11:10.

Since Abraham was aware of the foundations of the city and the foundations had in them the “names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb” it is natural to assume that the twelve apostles lived in the city from the days of Abraham or earlier.

The writer of Hebrews tells us concretely that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sara, Noah, Enoch, and Able all lived in the Heavenly New Jerusalem before they were born: “These (those just named) all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS ON THE EARTH. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country (‘country’ is from the Greek PATRIS which literally means FATHERLAND and figuratively means: Heavenly Home) And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. (If they were looking for any country on the earth they would have had no trouble finding and returning to it). But now they desire a better country, THAT IS AN HEAVENLY: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them A CITY.” (The New Jerusalem) Heb. 11:13-16.

This interesting scripture deserves a closer examination. First, the prophets are called “strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” This is significant because both words imply that they originated somewhere else besides the earth.

“Strangers” comes from the Greek XENOS and means “foreigner” or “alien”. “Pilgrim” comes from PAREPIDEMOS and literally means “resident foreigner”.

No matter which translation one uses a previous existence is indicated here. For instance if a man were a stranger in New York it means he had an existence and residence in another city before he arrived there.

The prophets are “strangers” on the earth; therefore, they lived somewhere else before they lived here.

If a man is a foreigner or an alien in the United States then he had to have a true citizenship in another country before he arrived here.

Therefore, if the prophets are foreigners or aliens on the earth, then their true citizenship belongs to another country that they originated from before they were born.

The pilgrims who arrived at Plymouth Rock did not originate in America but came from a distant land. They had a pre-America existence.

The prophets are called “Pilgrims on the earth” meaning that they had a “pre-mortal” existence. A pilgrim is a traveler who comes from somewhere else.

The next verse makes it crystal clear that the choice of these words was no accident. We’ll quote it using the more accurate translation of “fatherland” instead of “country”: “For they that say such things (that they are strangers and pilgrims) declare plainly that they SEEK A FATHERLAND.” Verse 14

It’s amazing that this scripture is not universally accepted as proving that the prophets lived before they were born for the writer says that it is “declare(d) plainly” that those who say they are strangers and pilgrims on the earth are seeking a Fatherland, or an origination point that they could have only lived in before they were born.

The next verse puts a seal on this point: “And truly, if they had been mindful of that country (fatherland) from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.” verse 15.

In other words, if their originating country was on the earth they could have returned to it while in the flesh. They were in an unfortunate position in that they were citizens of a Father land that was not on the earth, and that they could only return to after they died.

The next verse elaborates this: “But now they desire a better country, that is an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God for he hath prepared for them a city.” (the New Jerusalem) Verse 16.

The prophets all sought the day when the heavens and the earth would come together and their Fatherland, the New Jerusalem, would descend on the earth so the tabernacle of God would be with men, and the prophets would no longer be strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

John talks of those whose names are “written in the book of life from the foundation of the world.” Rev 17:8 Most probably these would be those who lived in the heavenly New Jerusalem since that time. Those who are true citizens of the city would have their names recorded there. This record could very well be the book of life, since the inhabitants thereof are living life most abundantly.

Reincarnation and the Bible, Part 4

This entry is part 4 of 5 in the series Reincarnation & the Bible

THE PROPHETS LIVED MORE THAN ONE LIFE

The Bible gives numerous indications that the holy men-of the scriptures have lived before. The Lord actually revealed to David two of his previous lives. He wrote: “This he ordained in JOSEPH for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I HEARD A LANGUAGE THAT I UNDERSTOOD NOT. I (the Lord) removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots. Thou callest in trouble, and I delivered thee; and answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I PROVED THEE AT THE WATERS OF MERIBAH.” Psalms 81:5-7

David here gives us the startling revelation that as Joseph in Egypt he heard a language he didn’t understand. Read the scripture carefully and see that when David said “I heard” he was referring the strange language that Joseph heard when he was taken captive in Egypt.

The Lord also told David that he was proved (or tested) at the “waters of Meribah”. This is a flashback to his life as Moses where he smote the rock at the place he named Meribah and brought forth water for Israel to drink, but at that time Moses failed the test and did not give glory to the Lord; thus he was not allowed to enter into the promised land. (See Exodus 17:5-7)

Seeing then that the Lord was aware of David’s valiant lives as Moses and Joseph he called David “a. man after his own heart” (I Sam 13:14) when he was but a lad. We can also see why “Moses took the bones of Joseph with him” (Ex 13:19) when he left Egypt, for Moses was once Joseph. In a strange way Moses was taking the bones of Joseph with him by merely taking himself out of Egypt. It was quite fitting for this entity to deliver Israel, for it was because of him that Israel moved into Egypt in the first place.

The prophet Daniel was promised a life at the end of the age: “And he said, Go thy way Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end…But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” Daniel 12:9~13. The New English version gives a clearer rendering of that last verse: “But go your way to the end and rest, and you shall arise to your destiny at the end of the age.”

The scriptures also give a prophesy about the coming of Elijah the prophet to do a great work on the earth: “Behold, I will send you ELIJAH THE PROPHET before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6

Here we have a clear prophecy that Elijah the prophet will come back before the Lord comes. When the Bible speaks of the “fathers” it is usually referring to the prophets and patriarchs of Israel. Thus his work will be connected with turning the hearts of the children (humanity today) to the teaching of the fathers (the prophets). If the teachings of the prophets are not planted in the hearts of this generation then the earth will be smitten with a curse.

Now if Elijah is to make an appearance before “the great and dreadful day of the Lord”, commonly called the second coming, does it not make sense that he would also precede the first coming of Christ?

The disciples were curious about this possibility so they asked the Lord: “Why then do our teachers say that Elijah must come first? He replied, Yes Elijah WILL COME and set everything right. But I tell you that ELIJAH HAS ALREADY COME, and they failed to recognize him, and worked their will upon him; and in the same way the Son of Man is to suffer at their hands. Then the disciples understood that HE MEANT JOHN THE BAPTIST.” Matt. 17:10-13 New English

Notice how definite the statement made by Jesus is here. Even so, orthodox interpreters refuse to accept it. They say that John was not Elijah reborn but was merely like Elijah. They quote Luke to support their case: “And he (John) shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just.” Luke 1:17 (Remember that Elias is Greek for Elijah)

This was spoken by the angel Gabriel to Zacharias, and objectors tell us that this proves that John was just similar to Elijah. On the other hand, if John was Elijah reborn it would certainly explain why he could go forth “in the spirit (with Elijah’s spirit) and power of Elias”. This scripture does not in any way void the words of Jesus.

Another objection is that both Elijah and Moses appeared to Jesus on the mount of transfiguration. If Elijah was later John why didn’t the apostles recognize him as such?

It’s quite possible they did recognize Elijah as John. There’s not enough information to tell for sure, but a few verses later as Jesus was talking about Elijah it is written: “Then the disciples understood that he spake to them of John the Baptist.” Matt. 17:13 (read all of verses 1-13)

This appearance was shortly after John was killed and we have no way of knowing whether he appeared in the form of Elijah or John, but it could have been either for an advanced entity can appear in any of his bodies. This was demonstrated by Jesus on the road to Emmaus. Mark says that “He appeared in another form unto two of them (disciples), as they walked and went into the country.” Mark 16:12 When Jesus was in this other form we are told they could not recognize him. See Luke 24:13-31

Those who do not think that John is Elijah quote one more scripture. The Jews sent priests and Levites to John to find who John was: “And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.” John 1:21

Here we have an interesting contradiction. Jesus said definitely that John the Baptist was Elijah and John says he is not. Jesus said that he was the prophet to fulfill the prophecy of Malachi (Matt. 11:9-10) and John said he was not. What is the explanation.?

First, we must realize that the words of Jesus are reliable above all other men so let us accept them as true. Why did John contradict them?

The answer is quite simple. As John the Baptist he had lost all memory of his life as Elijah. It is quite possible that he was not aware of who he was in the past. It is also possible that he did not know that he was the prophet that Malachi predicted. He was probably looking upon himself as merely a man who was seeking to teach the truth.

On the other hand, even if John suspected his true identity the priests and Levites would be the last ones he would want to tell who he was. The Jews kept pestering Jesus to identify him self as the Christ, and this he didn’t do until he was ready to die. John knew that if he identified himself as either Elijah or a great prophet then the Jews would try and put him to death for blasphemy. Even if John knew or suspected he was Elijah in a past life he was technically telling the truth because in that life his name was John, not Elijah.

Whatever the case John had to keep his identity from the Jews until his mission was finished.

We will close this train of thought with a second powerful statement from Jesus: “…Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John…A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. For this is he of whom it is written, Behold I send my messenger before my face, which shall prepare thy way before thee (This is a quote from Malachi near the prophesy of Elijah) Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven (Christ) is greater than he…For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, THIS IS ELIAS, which was for to come.” Matt. 11:7,9-11,13-14

This is really a poor translation evidently because of bias against reincarnation. The Concordant version says it most accurately: “And if you are willing to receive HIM, HE IS ELIJAH…”

Now we can see why Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest prophet. He was aware of his past lives. He was possibly other great prophets besides Elijah.

It seems at this point that one would have to go out on a limb to claim that John was not Elijah, but merely one like Elijah. For one thing his mission was quite different from the historical Elijah and most importantly Malachi says that Elijah, THE PROPHET (Malachi 4:5) shall return, not Elijah the personality.

Accordingly, we may look for the appearance of Elijah again in this age to prepare the way for the coming of Christ. Rest assured though that his name will not be Elijah in this life, but it will be the entity that was Elijah and John the Baptist nevertheless.

Paul tells us that he lived a past life where he was not under the law of Moses: “FOR I WAS ALIVE WITHOUT THE LAW ONCE: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.” Rom 7:9

Here Paul could only be speaking of a previous life because in his life as Paul he was born under the law of Moses. So when was the time that he “was alive without the law”? He could have only been referring to previous lives when he was not subjected to the law of Moses. “When the commandment came” refers to the period of Moses. When he was born on earth after this period “sin revived” and he suffered spiritual death.

The scriptures make it clear that John the Revelator will have numerous incarnations. Peter, wondering about the future of this man said: “And what shall this man do? Jesus said unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said NOT unto him, he shall not die; but if I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?” John 21:21-23

It sounds as if disciples have been misinterpreting the words of Jesus from the beginning. Some believe that John was translated so he would not suffer death, but John’s own book declares that Jesus did not promise him that he would not die, but indicated that it was his will that John tarry till he come. If then John did not have the promise of deathlessness the only way he could tarry here on the earth until the Lord comes is by a series of lives.

Indeed he will have to be born again to fulfill the prophesy that is written of him: “And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, THOU MUST PROPHESY AGAIN BEFORE MANY PEOPLES, AND NATIONS, AND TONGUES, AND KINGS.” Rev. 10:10-11

Have we heard any announcement over the news lately that John the Revelator has prophesied to kings and is appearing in many different lands speaking in numerous languages??? No, we have not, nor will we for when he comes he will not be known as John the Revelator, but will be in a different body having a new name.

Jesus gave us an interesting indication as to what was in store for his disciples. He said: “There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, and sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, but HE SHALL RECEIVE AN HUNDREDFOLD IN THIS TIME, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the WORLD TO COME eternal life. And many that are first shall be last and the last first.” Mark 10:29-31

Here Jesus talks about two time periods or ages. The first he calls “in this time” or the period of our mortal existence. The second he calls “the world to come”. In the world to come we receive “eternal life”, but in this age or period of normal earth life if we accept the gospel we will receive “an hundred fold” of houses, at least a hundred brothers, a hundred sisters, a hundred mothers, a hundred children, and a hundred different lands or places where we will live. This prophecy cannot be liter ally fulfilled without reincarnation. On the other hand, Jesus knew that “in this time” or period of human existence we go through more than a hundred lifetimes. Thus he realized his words would be accurate.

Up to the time that Paul wrote the letter to Timothy we see that Jesus Christ was the only man that possessed immortality, or deathlessness: “That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he will shew, who is the blessed and only potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; WHO ONLY HATH IMMORTALITY, dwelling in a light which no man can approach unto.” I Tim 6:14-16.

Even though we have an indication that others came out of their graves at the resurrection of Jesus (Matt 27:52-53) we see that only Jesus had obtained the resurrection of-life or “put on immortality”. Before we can achieve the same immortality we have to overcome all things as Jesus did.

We are told that “the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” I Cor 3:13. Paul had the hope “that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Col 1:28. Paul spoke of God “WHO WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” I Tim 2:4

I believe that God has power to carry out his “will” and the scriptures say that he “WILL have all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. Every man will be tried in the fire, and Paul has the hope that “every man” will be perfect. These scriptures cannot be fulfilled if every person is merely given one shot at life, but if men are born over and over until they fulfill the commandment to “overcome” exactly as Jesus did (Rev 3:21) then these passages can be literally fulfilled.
