Using Telepathy

Using Telepathy

A reader quotes DK as follows: “I talk now in symbols; I manipulate words in order to create a certain impression; I construct a thought-form which, when dynamic enough, can impress the brain of a transmitting agent, such as yourself.” A Treatise on White Magic, Page 523

Then he asks why the masters just do not send us messages by mental telepathy rather than giving us complex esoteric writings to read?

To this I ask what makes him think they have the power to do this on any scale? A disciple must expand his consciousness into the intuitive world before he can correctly receive the telepathy he mentioned above. The telepathy he speaks of is not just the transmission of words, but of ideas and principles. If a disciple either reads words in a book or receives mere words by telepathy it is the same. The higher telepathy he mentions is the transmission of the ideas behind the words. Only when this higher method is used can the message be received without distortion.

This type of higher communication would be wasted on most people, even many disciples for they know not how to receive them or interpret them. First, the disciple must practice receiving from his own soul and then correctly interpret. Then the master can use the disciple’s soul as a medium of transmission.

Alice A. Bailey is a good example of one who progressed toward being able to receive higher telepathy. When they first started their work DK transmitted the actual words to the books. Then as Alice A. Bailey became more sensitive to DK’s mind the transmission process was refined and instead of receiving the individual words, she received through the Oneness Principle in the language of principles and concepts, and ideas came to her mind first. Then after the concept was formed in her mind, they worked together in creating the English words as a vehicle of the expression.

I have received a lot of material through the Oneness Principle and when received the understanding is extremely clear. But then when it is placed in words a distortion occurs that can only be corrected by the reader interpreting through that same Oneness Principle.

As mankind progresses, more and more seekers will become refined receivers, and there will be less need for words through more understanding of basic concepts.

The principle of speech will, in the far future, be used more as a means of creation than communication, as communication by other means will precede speech.

Question: Shouldn’t we be able to receive telepathy as easily as you are receiving these words through the Internet?

Just like you have to access the internet through a medium even so must an effort be made to access a telepathic message. Very few tune into the intuitive world or higher where there is access. Of the seven worlds the majority can only perceive the physical and astral. Above this is the mental and above that is the intuitive where the Oneness Principle can be accessed.

I can read what you write because my physical brain registers it. It has nothing to do with intuition.

Question: Isn’t consciousness a medium for telepathy? Aren’t even animals intuitive?

Animals are not intuitive, but instinctive. My last class was on this subject. Intuition uses consciousness for the few who are tuned into the fourth plane of the intuition. The consciousnesses of most are separated from it because it lies beyond their ring-pass-not.

Question: Don’t we all have everything we need to receive a telepathic message?

Again, where do you get this idea? Even in communication with average people we can see this is not true. With some people you can send a subtle message and they will get it and others are just too dense.

Many just have too limited of a ring-pass-not to accurately receive the telepathy mentioned by DK.

Question: Why doesn’t someone send me a telepathic message?

Messages are circulating all around you at any given moment just as there are signals from many radio stations. If you know how to tune in you can pick them up.

It sounds like you feel a little miffed because no one seems to be sending you something. You are wrong. Someone is always sending you something, and you need to pick up the lower-level messages before you can pick up the higher.

And what are the lower-level ones? They are the astral messages of friends, associates, loved ones, people in need, etc. There are always cries for help that must be heard by the seeker’s inner self before his own cries for higher communication can be noticed.

The DaVinci Code

We just watched the movie The DaVinci Code

Both the orthodox conservative religious people as well as the liberal critics don’t like it. Since both groups are consistently wrong my desire to see it increased more than ever.

Orthodox religious people do not like it because the plot reveals that Jesus was married. For some reason, zealots maintain that this is blasphemous because it would mean he was not divine. What marriage has to do with being divine or not is a mystery to me.

Actually, the Bible does not say whether Jesus was married or not so it is just as blasphemous to assume he was not married as it is to assume he was.

There is more circumstantial evidence in the Bible that he was married than to support he was not.

For one thing, he was called Rabbi and at that time it was the law that a Rabbi be married. Secondly, at the scene of his first miracle he was responsible for wine at a wedding. The one responsible for beverages would have normally been the groom.

Anyway, this movie is bound to be an interesting point of conversation for a while.

I suspect the critics don’t like it because it doesn’t have a lot of raw emotion and you actually have to pay attention to some intellectual conversation to get the point as the plot progresses.

Ron Howard may not be a great filmmaker, but he usually does a good job.

Jesus Christ was a historical figure of staggering influence, perhaps the most enigmatic and inspirational leader the world has ever seen . . . Understandably, His life was recorded by thousands of followers across the land . . . More than eighty gospels were considered for the New Testament, and yet only a relative few were chosen for inclusion – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John among them . . . The Bible, as we know it today, was collated by the pagan Roman emperor Constantine the Great.

Sophie moved closer to the image [The Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vinci]. The woman to Jesus’ right was young and pious-looking, with a demure face, beautiful red hair, and hands folded quietly. “Who is she?” Sophie asked. “That, my dear,” Teabing replied, “is Mary Magdalene.” Taken from The DaVinci Code
