2006 Gathering, Part 12
Time Travel

JJ: One of the biggest questions of the ages is, is time travel possible? Is it possible to travel into the past and actually be there in that past or into the future and be there in a specific future. There are couple legends that have been in circulation that have really made people think about this. One is called “The Philadelphia Experiment.” Has anybody seen the movie? They made the movie and then they made a sequel. The first movie is supposed to be pretty close to the legend; the second one is admitted to be pure fiction. It is about going back in time and altering Nazi Germany so that they won the war. The Nazi’s are now controlling the present and the hero has change this back to the correct reality.

According to the Philadelphia Experiment (and also the first movie) there was a ship call the USS Aldridge and they were doing experiments on making their ship invisible to radar and everyone else near the end of World War II. The myth is that the ship not only became invisible but it was transported from one part of the country to another part a couple hundred miles away and then back again. They also went through time and when they came back some of the bodies of the sailors were fused into the iron of the ship. Many of them had illnesses and other problems.

The ship was supposed to have time traveled up to 1984 and stopped in the 70’s and the 90’s in Denver somewhere according to some of the stories. It is quite a fascinating account. I thought if this is true than it blows the lid off of time travel not being possible. So, I looked into it and I found that the whole thing was originated by a man whose name was Carl Allen who wrote some material on this and sent it to somebody he knew that worked for the Navy. Somehow his notes got in the hands of George E. Burger and Neil R. Simpson who acquired some of his notes and published a science fiction book on it called “Thin Air.” From this book came much of the legend.

Researchers in this show that some of the first published materials about the Philadelphia Experiment were borrowed from this science fiction story and most of the research reveals that Karl Allen was not on the Aldridge and did not have knowledge of it, and apparently was trying to make a name for himself.

Some researchers have said that they have interviewed every surviving member of the crew of the Eldridge and none of them have any knowledge of any such scientific experiment being conducted. From my research into this there is no solid proof of this, but it is a very fascinating myth that has really caught people’s imaginations.

Charles Berlitz, in 1979, published “The Philadelphia Experiment: Project Invisibility,” which added to the legend. I have a number of his books and he does go out on the edge a bit and you wonder where does he get his stuff. He wrote about the Bermuda Triangle among other subjects. Some of it is really good and some of it makes you wonder if he made things up because he comes up with some pretty far out material.

I could not find any conclusive evidence on the Philadelphia Experiment that it did in fact take place. The people that claimed that it was real are always met with critics who were always able to debunk them. So there is really no solid proof that the USS Eldridge did travel through time, but it is a very fascinating story.

Another most credible interesting thing I found out about time travel was a man named John Titor. Has anyone heard of him? He appeared on the Internet on an Art Bell forum (Nov 2, 2000) where you just post your thoughts and people reply to those thoughts. He started posting that he came from the future — from the year 2036. It was a short time after a major nuclear war and they were just getting settled back into civilization as it was just beginning to settle down. He claimed that GE in connection with the CERN research department in Switzerland (European Organization for Nuclear Research which has the world’s largest particle physics laboratory) had developed time travel and the development actually started around 2001 and consummated around the year 2035 and then in 2036.

They sent him back in time and the reason they sent him back was to get an IBM computer that was a 5100 and was the really the first portable computer made. It was big but it was portable. According to John Titor in the future they had a big problem; the APL units and the IBM main frames could not speak to each other because they had lost some kind of code and the code was hidden in this ancient computer called the 5100 and just a handful was made. In order to fix their computers in the future they had to send him back in the past to retrieve this ancient computer that I believe was made in 1978 or somewhere close to that year. So they sent him back to the year 1978. He had do this in two stages because of time travel limitations; he had go back to the year 2000 for the first step, and then back to 1978, and then back to the year 2000, and then back to the future again.

The story is so fantastic it almost makes you think that it might be true. They sent him back of all things in a 1967 Corvette! They put all this time travel equipment in this Corvette and then sent them back into the past. His car had to be pre 1978 to fit in. He did retrieve the computer and then on the way back to the future he stopped in the year 2000 and started posting on Art Bell’s forum. So anyway, the story is so fantastic it razzle dazzles the imagination.

So, he was telling this story on this Art Bell forum and people said, “Tell us some things about the future.” He said, “Well, I cannot tell you anything that you could use to change the present; I am not going to tell you how to get rich in the stock market and things like that.” He also said that were lots of things he could not remember like who won the World Series. He did say that he would tell us some things. He explained how time travel worked and it was quite complex and interesting. I do not have a print out of it but just reading it boggles the mind so I will read it on my computer here.

He says the basics of time travel started at CERN in about the year 2001 and in the year 2034 the first time machine was built by GE. He said that magnetic housing units for dual micro singularities is the first component. The second component is electron injection manifold that alters mass and gravity of the micro singularities. The third component is a cooling and x-ray venting system, and the fourth are gravity sensors and a “VGL system” — whatever that is.

So, he speaks this complicated lingo that kind of dazzles you, and made a lot of people think even people with quite a sophisticated scientific background caught interest in this guy. Then he says the mass and gravitational field of the micro singularity can be manipulated by injecting electrons into its surface. Now that does not mean a lot to us, but people with a scientific background think, “Hmmmm, possible.” Then he says by rotating two electronic micro singularities at high speed it is possible to create and modify a local gravity sinusoid that replicates the effects of the curved black hole.

I understand part of that.

He talks about a micro singularity — a singularity is what is supposed to have created the whole universe. It is a point so infinitesimally small that exploded into “The Big Bang.” A singularity is a point that is the infinitesimally small point of creation, and he talks about micro singularities being created and revolve around somehow making it possible to alter time.

The computer system is connected to the unit through an electrical bus. There are actually three computers linked together that take the same signals from the gravity sensors and clocks. They use a Borda error correcting protocol that checks the integrity of the data and trips the VGL system.

The C206 uses 6 Cesium clocks but they use an optical system to check the oscillation frequency. This makes the worldline divergence confidence much higher.

So anyway, he explains in technical language the basic principles of time travel. This kind of captivated people’s interest.

The Real Present

JJ: Often times we will make mistakes and we go along a bad path, and then we suffer a lot of pain and discomfort and this changes or corrects our course because we do not wish for pain and discomfort. After we correct ourselves then we get control and eventually good always dominates. So God jumps into this universe not really knowing how He is going to get out. He just has faith that His intelligence will work its way out, and it is going to be an interesting ride to say the least. It will be tough — a lot tougher than the game of Monopoly, and He will need the assistance of every one of us to get Him out. But He is here, He has lost his memory, He is in us and we do not understand why we are here. We just know that we have to move forward, and make the situation better. We all know that inside of us. That is the original purpose of God manifesting inside of us — so we instinctively know we have to move forward and make things better. We all know that don’t we?

And eventually we will do this. Many lose faith because some of us have had bad accidents, diseases, or a lot of things go wrong even though we have tried so hard to stay on the right path. It seems as though we are destined for failure. There are wars, famine and physical death in different places, and we look at these bad things and think, “Boy, the world has gone to hell in a hand basket and it is never going to get better.” But we must learn to have faith in the intelligence of God manifesting through all life in the universe which is always working to make things better, and always does in the long run.

If you want an example of how this principle works look at the evolution of the computer. When the computer first came out they were almost good for nothing – like the Apple IIe. It would hardly do anything. Then came the first Macs and IBM’s and they did a few things but it was not enough for people to get excited about. Then pretty soon they came out with version one of Microsoft Word, and it really improved things quite a bit, and we thought maybe it was possible to use these things after all. Then we had all these programs come out with all the upgrade versions; 3, 7, 10, and eventually we became aware that these programs were very useful.

But in between think back of all the time that you felt so mad at your PC that you felt like kicking it through a window. Have you ever had that feeling with your PC? This stupid PC does not know what it is doing! You feel like taking a baseball bat to it, but it is just an inanimate object. But the engineers are working on it and they see the mistakes, hear the complaints, and it seems like for a period of time the computers will never amount to anything.

Then improvements are made, and step by step GOOD dominates. Eventually it will be like on Star Trek where they will speak into a little pin on their lapel and tell the computer to please give the some food; or, “Do some research for me,” or they meet a Klingon who speaks a different language and the computer translates for them so they both can speak to each other. The computer on Star Trek is extremely useful. We are headed that direction. Eventually we may have computers that are as sophisticated as they are on that show.

Now getting back to motion. Everything is created by motion. The motion and the distance we are going is dominated by what we call the Dominating Good. This is what can bring solace to us all. This is why God jumped in this universe to begin with because He has faith in the Dominating Good. If He did not have faith in the Dominating Good because of intelligence He probably would have never jumped into this universe. But He liked jumping into it not knowing for sure how He was going to get out because that my friends is what makes the game of life interesting and fun. And He shares this fun with us.

Now if a car accident happens or disease or something of this nature then you think, “Well what kind of fun is this that He is sharing? This is not fun at all.” Terrible things happen sometimes, but it is just like Monopoly you hit a hotel and you lose a thousand dollars and you feel down in the dumps. But then you move along and someone lands on your hotel and now you are collecting a thousand dollars and you think, “Hey, this is kind of fun,” so eventually life turns.

Think of the worst time in your life when all was going wrong and you just felt horrible. Then think maybe a year or two later and you are just on top of the world. When you are on top of the world after you have been on the bottom, it makes being on top that much better. You really appreciate being on the top after you have been on the bottom.

Talk to movie stars for instance. They are often interviewed and told: “You look like you really have it all made. Have you ever had to struggle?”

And they say, “Oh yes, man I came here I had to live in my car and I was always hungry, living on crackers for a year and working odd jobs.” They often have tales of how they really and truly struggled and now they have made it they are just thrilled.

The worst hell a person can enter is if he just gives up like the people in the parable at the end of Book One in “The Immortal.” The ones that could not make the decision and were immobilized along the path were just frozen in fear. This is where the true hell is. It is when people are afraid to move because they are afraid they are going to suffer or they are afraid they are going to have pain.

If we make the wrong decision it is better than making no decision at all. The wrong decision is better than no decision because if you make the wrong decision, you can figure out what you did wrong. All you have to do is have a PURE HEART. The importance of having a pure heart is if you make the wrong decision and are honest with yourself, you will figure out that it is the wrong decision; and then you will backtrack and then you make the right decision. But, if you make no decision then you will never figure out what is right or wrong and you will just be in a state of limbo until you do make a decision. So making the decision is an important thing to do.

 Audience: “I guess making a wrong decision is the best way to learn too.”

JJ: Yes, we learn a lot through wrong decision. I probably learned more from a bad marriage than I have from my present good marriage with my wife. I have an enormous amount of joy with the good marriage with my wife, but I sure learned a lot from my first wife. She taught me many lessons.

 Audience: “What about time travel?”

JJ: I am getting there. I am varying this a little so people have something different to listen to. Time is created by motion. If all motion is stilled then we go back to the source to what people call the Void or purpose energy. It is written this way concerning the source, It “is not that ‘which is not,’ but simply that which is esoteric.” TCF, Page 130 The words the “the source” and “the purpose energy” are not nothing. It just is something we do not understand, because what we understand with our physical brain is what registers in the world of form. Time is created by motion and if time is created by motion this means in order for time to exist things have to be moving from “Point A” to “Point B.” They have to be in the process of moving between the two points. The interesting thing about time is we are never in the present or the future, where are we at?

 Audience: “The past.”

JJ: We are always in the past. This is something very few people realize. Now Shelly, you are looking at me. Do you see my present or my past?

 Audience: “I see your present.”

JJ: No, you do not see the present because you can’t see the present. Do you know why?

 Audience: “Why?”

JJ: Because there is no motion in the present. And if there is no motion in the present then there is no form. Have you ever seen images that are flashed in front of you in very small amounts of time? You see this every time you watch a film. How many pictures per second is in a major film? Does anybody know?

 Audience: “24 pictures, each picture flashes twice.”

JJ: You need about 8 per second to see what appears to be seamless motion. The motion picture industry has higher quality for the big screen so they do 24 pictures per second. To create a seamless moving picture we do not see anything in real time motion, we see still frames, one, still frame after another and this creates what appears to be seamless motion. Now, we see the same thing when we are here, it is the same principle that we are seeing through our eyes. How much time must elapse before you can see a picture? Suppose I were to display myself for 1/8 of a second, or a 1/16 of a second. How small of a time period before you do not see me at all? How long do you have to look at me before you can see that there is an image?

 Audience: No answer.

JJ: I read somewhere that is a 64th of a second. Some people that are very perceptive can see it a little quicker, but on the average it is a 64th of a second. That is why 24 pictures per second seems pretty seamless. If were to show a picture in a thousandths of a second we would not even see the picture. It would not register. It would be as if the picture did not exist. It takes about 1/64 of a second to see that picture which means that everything that you see is at least 1/64 of a second in the past. You never see the present you are always looking into the past. Who here has read “A Course in Miracles?” What is one of the most famous statements about the past in there?

 Audience: Silence.

JJ: I see only what? “A Course in Miracles?” says: “I see only the past.” And this is literately true — we see only the past.

 Audience: “That is like when we get images from space, we are literately seeing the past because by the time the light from the image has reached us that image or star may not even be there anymore yet we are seeing it as it was not as it is in the now or present.”

JJ: Yes, some of these stars and galaxies are millions of light years away, so we are looking at images that millions of years old by the time the light from the star or galaxy reaches us. But, with us everything you see is at least a 64th of a second in the past. Now to actually register what you see takes about how long?

 Audience: “About one second.”

JJ: Yes, about one second and this is why a second is called a second because the Ancients realized that it takes about a second to register something. You can visually capture an image in a 64th of a second, but to see it and register that you saw it will take about a second.

 Audience: “I see you right now which would be the image of you from a second ago.”

JJ: Right it takes about a second for an image to register in your consciousness. If some one says, “2+2=4,” by the time you have registered the answer is 4 at least a second has passed. When you look at a picture – by the time the image registers in your consciousness about a second has passed. But, to flash that picture in front of you so your eyes can physically see it takes about 1/64 of a second. So you’re always a second in the past in consciousness, and a 64th of a second in perception.

 Audience: “Have you ever had that experience when you are driving and you stop the car and you did not know why, and then something happened. I wonder if that is why because some part of us registered it even though we were not conscious of it.”

JJ: That is a little bit different type of thing, but we do have our inner senses where we register some very unusual things. The interesting part is we see each other because we are seeing the past. If we saw the true present what we would see is the “Eternal Now,” and in the Eternal Now there is no physical form. If we were in the Eternal Now right now and saw the present, we would all disappear before each of our eyes. There would be no time and no space. Interesting thought, is it not? For the present does not really exist except as a point between the past and the future. It is a point that is never reached and we pass over it all the time. But you are never really in the present — we are always a little bit in the past. We always see the past.

 Audience: “If we all were in the present would we still be aware of each other?”

JJ: We would be unified like one mind in the mind of God so to speak if we were in the true present. The Ancients talk about this and called it “The Eternal Now.” It is an eternal now because if you see the true present you are in the eternal now and there is a great oneness there in our source. People kind of sense that within, but you cannot go to the present in physical reality. You have to be beyond physical reality before you can go there. This is why many people in deep meditation get a sense of the eternal now, but you cannot really get this in normal waking consciousness.

If time is caused by motion this means that in this reality there is not really an eternal now. There is an eternal now in the inward reality, but in this reality to have time flowing you have to have motion, and to have motion you have to have movement from one place to another. If there is no movement from one place to another then you are in the present and then nothing exists as form. But as long as form exists that means that time exists and we are moving from the past to the future through a point in the middle that we call present that we are never at in our normal or physical consciousness.

Levels of Hierarchy

There are many levels of Hierarchy with them all interplaying and being nourished by adjacent levels.

As far as kingdoms go the first level known to us is the mineral, but according to HPB there are subtle realms that proceed it unknown to us:

“There are processes of evolution which precede the mineral kingdom, and thus a wave of evolution, indeed several waves of evolution, precede the mineral wave in its progress round the spheres.” Secret Doctrine Vol 1 Pg 177

But from our standpoint the mineral is the lowest:

“From the standpoint of external matter, the mineral kingdom marks the densest expression of the life of God in substance, and its outstanding, though oft unrealised, characteristic is imprisoned or unexpressed power. Speaking in symbols, a volcano in eruption is a mild expression of this power.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 1, Page 228

The lower kingdoms operate under the law of sacrifice to nourish the higher. Concerning the mineral DK says:

“The essential qualities of the minerals and chemicals of the earth are an instance in point. They are needed by other forms of life and are donated to man through the medium of the vegetable kingdom and through the water which he drinks, and thus, even in the first and densest kingdom in nature (whose consciousness is so far removed from ours) does this process of giving hold good.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 95

The mineral is the initial giver in our universe, the source from which all physical life springs. DK gives us a hint as to why the mineral kingdom is the base of sacrifice to sustain the whole:

“The mineral monad has a problem slightly at variance with that of the other kingdoms, for it is specifically an expression of the lives which were classed as the failures of a previous solar system, and which were doomed to immerse themselves in the forms of the mineral kingdom.” TCF, Pages 1095-1096

We see then that there are monads that were failures in a previous system who are imprisoned in the mineral kingdom and through sacrifice evolve out of that kingdom into the higher.

Whereas the human kingdom is composed of monads who have become individualized souls the three lower kingdoms are composed of group souls:

“It is useful to remember that in the three lower kingdoms, manifestation, or appearance on the physical plane, is ever group manifestation and not the appearance of separated units. Each group soul, as it is called, is divided into seven parts which appear in each of the seven races of a world period, and there is an interesting distinction between them and the units of the human kingdom. When portions of the group soul in one of its seven parts are out of incarnation they are to be found on the astral plane, even though the Mother group soul is found on the mental plane.  TCF, Pg 1138

Each of these group souls possess a great number of monads that eventually evolve through the kingdoms until they become individualized in the human kingdom.

At the head of each of the kingdoms is a great being that oversees its evolution. Here are comments on the third kingdom:

“The animal kingdom likewise is the expression of the life of a Being Who is a part of the body of the Logos or of the planetary Logos, but not a centre of conscious energy.” TCF, Page 460

“The Lords of the third Kingdom, the animal. They are seven Entities whose bodies are made up of animal souls just as the Heavenly Men embody for man the Buddhic principle, so these lords embody for the animal kingdom the manasic principle, which is the goal of the evolutionary process for them.” TCF, Page 533

As a general rule we can say that the lower is sacrificed to the higher, but the higher is nourished by the lower

A rough analogy is the farmer who waters and cultivates his crops so, in the end, he himself is nourished.

The mineral thus supplies sustenance for the vegetable and the recycled vegetables enriches the soil.

The vegetable sacrifices itself to give life to the animal (which includes the animal bodies of the human) and we in turn cultivate and nourish the vegetable kingdom. The animal does this through its dung and its dead bodies as fertilizer and the human though intelligent assistance.

Because the human and animal kingdoms share bodies of a similar constitution DK recommends that humans “nourish that which is lowest with the produce of the second.” Rays and Initiations Page 21

How then is it that animals are sacrificed to humans?

It is obvious that many animals are presently sacrificed to humanity for food. DK tells us that the cause is linked to an ancient karma when the animals were much more powerful than the humans and killed and devoured many of them. Now the situation is reversed but soon things will change for “The time will come, when the attitude of man to the animal kingdom will be revolutionised, and the slaughter, ill-treatment, and that form of cruelty called ‘sport,’ will be done away with.” TCF, Page 475

A positive service the animas have rendered to humanity has been their help in creating civilization itself through animals like the ox, the sheep and the horse. Now in modern times the more advanced serve as pets and enhance our lives in many ways.  

In return we stimulate their consciousness enabling them to move forward in evolution.

Then in relation of humanity to the fifth kingdom of masters DK says: “Let the group know the vivid, flaming, drenching Life that floods the fourth when the fifth is known. The fifth feeds on the fourth. Let then the group—merged in the fifth—be nourished by the sixth and seventh and realise that all the lesser rules are rules in time and space and cannot hold the group. It onward moves in life.” Rays and Initiations Page 21

Through our association with the fifth kingdom we can experience a “vivid, flaming, drenching Life.” In return “The fifth feeds on the fourth.”

That is a curious statement that is not expanded on by DK. We know they do not physically consume us, but they do owe their lives to us for all masters were once human as you and I. In addition, we can assume that when they assist us that they acquire a stronger spiritual energy for themselves and hasten their own progression. Then too, as individual humans advance from the fourth to the fifth kingdom the addition to the Hierarchy provides a sustenance to insure their growth.

Then the process is repeated as we go higher for the fifth is “nourished by the sixth and seventh.” The seventh would be Shamballa and the sixth would be the Nirmanakayas who provide a link between Shamballa and the Spiritual Hierarchy.  

We can assume that there is a similar symbiotic relationship with the fifth, sixth and seventh kingdoms as there is between humanity and the Spiritual Hierarchy.

Within the higher Hierarchies there are numerous groups and entities at work. We’ll take a look at some of them next.

The Dominating Good

Commenting on the last gathering post, a reader expressed the opinion that intelligence decides between what is real and what is not and this has resulted in the world we experience.

He is on the right track here except that intelligence at the human level and below does not decide in terms of what is real and what is not. Instead, it decides in terms of what works and does not work. Now that which works most efficiently (from a holistic view) is that which is most real in terms of useful creation.

For instance, a circular object works best for the wheel. If an intelligence uses any other shape, such as a square or hexagon, he will always come to the conclusion that a round circular object works best.

On the human level we go through trial and error again and again, each time picking that which works best for what we want to accomplish.

We have the basics pretty much settled. We use round objects for wheels, bearings to make them more efficient and a substance with give in it for the tire. We have collectively decided that 2+2=4, that the binary system works in computers and television as an invention is very useful and worthy of improving to the highest level possible.

That which works in the black-and-white concrete areas of life is easiest for intelligence to discern. But then when we move up to the social level it becomes more difficult.

Let us take the debate that is raging today. Is forced socialized medicine the most efficient way to go or not? Close to half the country thinks yes and half thinks no. It seems as if we will never come to an intelligent conclusion.

On the other hand, when we look back to 1860 we see that close to half the country thought slavery was a good thing and half did not. Fortunately, this issue has been resolved and we have concluded as a society that human bondage is not good and is to be avoided.

Today the problem of slavery has merely moved to a higher level. Before we can solve the problem of what works and does not work in socialism the force or bondage aspect must be removed. Eventually we will do this and, just as happened with the slavery issue, we will, as a people, chose that which works best for humanity.

Here is the key piece of knowledge.

Both those on the path of light and dark choose that which works best for them. Both will choose round wheel instead of the square. Both will ultimately choose the same improvements when using only the concrete mind as a database. The dividing point comes when the soul enters into the picture. The soul opens up new data bases and principles from higher worlds and thus allows us to make more accurate decisions about what works and does not work. Those with soul contact thus have a higher vision of what works and does not work.

All of humanity has a chance to achieve soul contact. When a brother of Light gets his chance he will embrace the soul and move onward. When a dark bother gets his chance he will sense the change the soul will bring and make a conscious decision to reject it. He deceives himself into thinking that he can obtain more satisfaction by concentrating on the material world and what works there. With the rejection of the soul he also rejects freedom for the whole for he sees he can only be satisfied if he can control others. He feels he can be free as long as the majority is not.

The committed dark brother thus continues to choose what seems to work best for him, but now has a wall between him and the soul so the intelligence governing his choices is limited and thus not accurate.

The Spiritual Hierarchy

A term that is used a lot in the Bailey books is “Hierarchy.” Unfortunately, this term by itself has turned many away from exploring the Bailey writings.

And why is this?

Because many in the alternative spiritual community see a hierarchy as an authoritarian system where those higher up give commands and those lower down must obey or be punished. Many equate hierarchy with a church or group that left a bad taste in their mouths. DK made a comment on this:

“This hierarchical structure is a basic and eternal reality, but the concept has been so distorted and so misused that it has evoked a revolt in humanity and has produced an almost abnormal reaction to a freedom and a license which are assuming undesirable dimensions.” Education in the New Age, Page 105

The important thing to understand is that not all hierarchies are equal, but they are necessary. You cannot find any successful human organization that does not have some kind of hierarchy whether it be a business, a lodge, a spiritual organization, or a school.

If a salesperson calls on any organization he has to ask: “Who’s in charge?” He cannot just corner the first person he meets and make a presentation.

The word is sometimes problematic because many on the spiritual path are strong believers in equality, and to them it seems that a hierarchy creates a situation where there is inequality.

It helps to understand that there are two types of hierarchy. The first is that system where those at the top exert strong authority and must be obeyed or else, as occurs in a powerful dictatorship or an authoritarian organization.

The second is a system where those with greater knowledge and ability see themselves as servants to benefit the whole.

The first hierarchy seeks to be served, but the second to serve and assist.

The second view of hierarchy is the one embraced in the Bailey writings. This hierarchy is not one of command and obey, but one governed by what DK calls “occult obedience.”

This occurs when the disciple has achieved a degree of soul contact and understands the plan as related by his leader. Because he or she supports the plan or direction as does the teacher the natural response is to fully cooperate through free will.

This second hierarchy could be called a living hierarchy for some type of understanding and occult obedience flows through any true living organism.

Even though there are many levels of hierarchy, just as there are many levels of life, most of the time when DK uses the term, he is referring to what is called the “fifth kingdom” in nature.

The first kingdom is the mineral, the second, the vegetable, animals are the third and humans are the fourth. The fifth is composed of those who have gone beyond human and are called Masters of Wisdom. They have a consciousness equated with the “kingdom of heaven,” and seekers who understand occult obedience will take any intelligence communicated by them seriously and try to abide by it as they follow their own path to mastery.

Instead of thinking of the Spiritual Hierarchy as being “better” than us it may be more accurate to think all of us as equal members of the same family who are traveling along a path to a very desirable destination. The problem is this path has many branches that can lead travelers to dead ends that cause much lost time. In addition, there are many hazards along the way.

The Hierarchy above us has merely traveled farther along the path than we have and can assist us by communicating the false detours and hazards. The fact that they can do this does not make them better, but helpful in that they can transmit to us useful knowledge.

This is not a perfect analogy, but it does point us the right direction in understanding the purpose of a true spiritual hierarchy.

DK puts it this way:

“This Hierarchy is composed of those Who have triumphed over matter, and Who have achieved the goal by the very self-same steps that individuals tread today. These spiritual personalities, these adepts and Masters, have wrestled and fought for victory and mastery upon the physical plane, and struggled with the miasmas, the fogs, the dangers, the troubles, the sorrows and pains of everyday living. They have trodden every step of the path of suffering, have undergone every experience, have surmounted every difficulty, and have won out. These Elder Brothers of the race have one and all undergone the crucifixion of the personal self, and know that utter renunciation of all which is the lot of every aspirant at this time. There is no phase of agony, no rending sacrifice, no Via Dolorosa that They have not in Their time trodden, and herein lies Their right to serve, and the strength of the method of Their appeal.” Initiation Human and Solar, Page 24

Then he adds this:

“The recognition of hierarchical status, which is, in the last analysis, the relation of the lesser to the greater, of the weaker to the stronger and of the more experienced to the less experienced. Thereby the sense of protection is developed, which is the working out of one form of the love aspect in the universe.”    Education in the New Age, Page 129

That said, the natural question to be asked is what has been revealed about them? Fortunately, there are a few things of interest to students. For one thing, the numbers are few when compared to the number of humans. DK says this:

“The workers, or adepts, concerned with the evolution of the human family, comprise sixty-three, if the three great Lords are counted in making the nine times seven necessary for the work. Of these forty-nine work exoterically, if it might be so expressed, and fourteen esoterically, being more concerned with the subjective manifestation. Not many of Their names are known to the public, nor would it be wise in many cases to reveal Who They are, where They dwell, and what is Their particular sphere of activity.” Initiation Human and Solar, Page 51

We are thus told there are forty-nine who work exoterically,” in other words these entities are still in physical bodies. The other fourteen work in higher planes than the physical, but still focus on human evolution.

DK adds this about the forty-nine:

“The Hierarchy works also through the seven major Ashrams and their affiliated Ashrams, and these “seven which are the forty-nine” represent in their totality the seven rays with their subrays, and are the custodians, transmitters and distributors of the seven ray energies to the seven planetary centres and—via these seven centres—to those in the fourth kingdom in nature (as they gradually unfold over the aeons) and then, via these, to the seven centres in individual man.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 527

These beings attained the status of a Master of Wisdom at the fifth initiation. At this point they “either preserve the old body in which They took the fifth initiation or else They build the “mayavirupa” or body of maya, of physical substance. This body will appear in the original form in which They took initiation.” Rays and Initiations, Page 705

The various masters have been in their physical bodies for different time periods, some reported as being quite ancient. Djwahl Khul, who says he is one of the younger masters, gives us an indication of his age:

“I am still utilising the same physical body in which I took the fifth initiation, nearly ninety years ago.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 522

He stated this in 1946. Let us assume he was around 50 years old when he took the fifth initiation. That would have made him around 140 years old at that time. At the time of this writing the year is 2025. Assuming he is still in the same body he would now be well over 200 years old.

Since other masters are much older this would indicate that there is a rejuvenation that takes place when passing from the human kingdom into the spiritual. Few details are given on this, but a number of hints are found in the writings.

In the 1920’s it was said that there were 63 masters working with the human kingdom, but now over a hundred years has passed since that statement so there could be more than that at present – the number is not given.

During DK’s work with Alice A. Bailey there are 49 masters in physical bodies, but of these he listed thirteen for publication which includes the Christ and twelve that were linked to him, similar in number to his group in Palestine 2000 years ago.

The Hierarchy itself is on the ray of Love Wisdom and the Christ presides over this which corresponds to the Son.

Working with him on this aspect are A European Master, The Master KH and DK – the author of most of the material in the Bailey books.

The head of the first aspect, representing the Father, is one called The Manu. Under him works the Masters Jupiter and Morya

Then the third aspect, linked to the Holy Spirit, is presided over by one called the Mahachohan also called the Lord of Civilization. The Master Rakoczi has recently taken that job.

Under him are the Venetian Master, Serapis, Hilarion, Jesus and an unnamed replacement for Rakoczi who moved up to the Mahachohan.

It is interesting that there are billions of us on this planet in the fourth, or human kingdom, but DK only identifies a mere sixty-three in the fifth, or the Spiritual Hierarchy. The reason for the small amount in the fifth is that he is only counting members who have progressed there from the earthly human kingdom. From this standpoint the fifth kingdom is at its infancy, but this will be a temporary thing, as eventually large numbers of humans will attain the higher consciousness that links them with the Hierarchy.

It is notable that DK equates the Spiritual Hierarchy with the kingdom of God:

“Forget not that this kingdom or this aggregate of souls is what the Christian calls the Kingdom of God and the occultist calls the spiritual Hierarchy of our planet.” Esoteric Healing, Page 512

This fifth kingdom is also called the kingdom of heaven by DK, but has many more inhabitants than the sixty-three, according to scripture:

“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.” Heb 12:22-23

This could be describing “innumerable” inhabitants in a spiritual sphere, not only from this  age, but previous ages lost to history and not only this world, but from other worlds and previous systems.

Apparently the sixty-three work directly with the evolution of humanity in ways that other spiritual beings do not. This is because the higher lives have as a prime directive to let humanity solve its own problems relative to their progress. The story of the caterpillar turning into a butterfly illustrates this principle. If you help it escape from the cocoon it will die, but if it does it on its own it will live and transform. Thus the higher only directly helps the lower in exceptional circumstances, for the struggle to progress gives the various lives the strength to prosper.

Concerning those who have progressed from the fourth to the fifth kingdom we are told this:

“The Hierarchy might be defined as the sum total of those sons of men who are no longer centered in the individualised self-consciousness, but who have entered into a wider realisation, that of the planetary group life.” A Treatise on White Magic, Page 38

DK often speaks of a plan that enters us “into a wider realisation, that of the planetary group life.”

He says that “The Hierarchy is the Custodian of that aspect of the cyclic, planetary Purpose which is called the Plan.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 223

There is “the Plan of the Hierarchy as a whole, though emphasising some appropriate aspect.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 771

There is an appropriate aspect so important that it is emphasized in the Great Invocation and even capitalized:

“From the centre which we call the race of men

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

“Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.”

The Great Invocation gives a major hint as to which part of this Plan concerning the entering into group life that needs attention. Its intent seeks to “restore the plan on earth.”

A Plan that is restored is something that was once here. What could that be?

What was once here was a direct communication between humanity and the Spiritual Hierarchy.

“In these words I refer to an aspect of the amazing enterprise upon which the Hierarchy is embarked within this cycle: Its appearance, expression and activity upon the physical plane for the first time since it withdrew into the subjective side of life and focussed itself on the mental plane (instead of the physical) during the days of ancient Atlantis and after the war between the Lords of the Shining Countenance and Lords of the Dark Face, as The Secret Doctrine calls it. For millions of years, as a result of the triumph of evil in those days, the Hierarchy has stood in silence behind world events, occupied with the following work—a work which will eventually be carried on exoterically instead of esoterically.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 519

There was a temporary defeat by evil forces that caused the Hierarchy to withdraw, but finally the time has arrived for them to externalize again and this is the plan which is to be restored.

“Thus the original Plan will be restored on Earth; this is symbolically referred to in the Bible as the Garden of Eden; the Angel with the Flaming Sword will no longer guard the Door of Initiation into the Kingdom of God, but will be transformed into the Angel of the Presence. Simultaneously, the door into the world of spiritual reality will open before mankind, and the door where evil dwells will be closed.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 174

“The Hierarchy will eventually, under its Head, the Christ, function openly and visibly on Earth. This will happen when the purpose of the divine Will, and the plan which will implement it, are better understood.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 149

But the way they will function will be more through groups than individual incarnation a noted in this mysterious quote:

“The Hierarchy incarnates on Earth again, and for the first time since its last incarnation in Atlantean days. It is, however, a group incarnation and not the incarnation of individual Members. This is probably a subtle point too difficult for you to grasp.” Rays and Initiations, Page 334

To this end many disciples throughout the world say the Great Invocation which ends with:

“Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.”

2006 Gathering, Part 10
God Plays a Game

JJ: The interesting fact or conclusion that we come to is that everything is created by one line of energy, which we call Purpose, that is in vibration; and by the multiplication of this vibration everything that exists that seems to be solid that is here is not really solid. It is all created on the grand principle of illusion. In the east among the Hindu and Buddhist they say everything is created by illusion but they do not explain the principle behind this or how this can be. They do not explain that is because of the wavelength of the guitar string principle, but they understand that everything is based in illusion and have been taught this for many centuries. But they do not quite understand what creates the illusion. When you think of the simple example of the guitar string, you pluck it and you see three strings, yet you know there is only one.

There is one basic or primary energy of God; but then there appears to be three, and then there appears to be seven, and then there appears to be a whole universe teaming with life which we call reflections of God. Everything that is in the universe was in the mind of God as it existed outside of time and space. Until that original guitar string was plucked there was no time and no space. There was only “undifferentiated substance” which is one of the words used in esoteric writings. What that is no one has been able to explain. I do not know if anyone on this planet could explain it for sure, we just know that it is the source of all things.

In the beginning the source which we call God reflected Himself outside of time. This is spoken of in the Bible, it says in the beginning God created man in His own image. The word image in the Hebrew (TSELEM) signifies a reflection or exact duplicate. In other words man was created as an exact duplicate of God.

It even gives hints in the Old Testament: “Behold the man is to become as one of us.” Then Jesus showed up and they criticized Him for claiming to be the Son of God, to which He says, “Well how come you are getting all bent out of shape because of Me talking about being a Son of God when it says in your own scriptures that ‘Ye are gods?’ And if it says ye are gods to those to whom the scripture came, then what is the big deal about being the Son of God? That is not nearly as big a deal as being a god itself.”

What is interesting is that in the Bible where it talks about the people in the days of Moses, Jehovah told Moses that he was going to be a god to Aaron and to the people. Then Moses appointed judges, and the word “judges” is a mistranslation. In the Hebrew it says Moses appointed gods to oversee the people. The judges in Moses’ day were called, Elohiym or Gods. Elohiym is the same word that is used for God in Hebrew. Elohiym created the heavens and the earth. Elohiym judged the people. Now what is also interesting is that it calls Abraham a mighty prince, but the word prince is another mistranslation — it actually is “a mighty Elohiym” or “mighty god.”

There is another interesting scripture that says, “Behold man is created a little lower than the angels.” Here, angels, is again mistranslated; it comes from the word Elohiym. Man is created a little lower than the gods which is a totally different meaning. The same thing occurred with the word Christ. David who slew Goliath was called Christ. Many people were called Christ. Did, you know this? Samson was called a Christ because he was supposed to save his people. The word “messiah” there in the Hebrew is equivalent to Christ in the Greek. This is quite fascinating and covered quite a bit in my book “Gods of the Bible.” All kinds of people are called gods, messiahs, and Christ in the Bible. Christ simply means “anointed one,” and there are many “anointed ones” in the Old Testament. When they anointed King David with oil and made him king over Israel, he became Christed, or the messiah of that age.

 Audience: “Did King David ascend like the Christ did and go through that fulfillment?”

JJ: No, because back in ancient Bible days becoming a Christ or messiah did not mean a God like the Christian religion thinks of it today. Messiah was simply one who delivered and led his people. Samson, as bad as he was, was called a messiah because he was supposed to deliver Israel. But he screwed up and got involved with Delilah and got his hair cut off, lost his powers, and wound up a prisoner, and so on. So he did not fulfill his mission to deliver the people.

 Audience: “Would he then be an antichrist?”

JJ: I would say more of a failed Christ than an antichrist?. An antichrist would be more like a person who believed he was right but was on the wrong side. Samson knew the correct path but failed to accomplish his mission. The antichrist? would be opposite the principles that the Christ stands for.

Getting back to motion — you pluck the guitar string and appears to be not one but three strings, you see the trinity principle at work in the guitar string. If all the wavelengths were to be still so there was no motion what would happen? All form would cease to exist. We could be looking at Lorriane, and she would just disappear. Looking at Assaf would be a little bit different; he would disappear also but would be going out kicking and screaming.

 Audience: Laughter.

JJ: All of us and everything around us would apparently be gone. But would it be gone? Let’s suppose that we slowed all of Assaf’s molecules down and he disappeared, would there be no more Assaf? He would still exist as a thought in the mind of God. He just would not be incarnated any more. Now what God did is he created this universe on the principle of illusion, and then he jumped into it, and because we are reflections and made in His image, we jump in with Him. So here we all are in this universe and we must figure out what to do with it.

This what many people do not realize. They think that every step is planned 100 percent of the way. What is planned and seen by the higher lives is a vision as to how the end result of this round of creation should be, but how we get there is unknown. Life is a little like a game of Monopoly. Think of a game you really like and Monopoly will often come up if you have played it. And why is Monopoly fun? Why does this game never go out of style?

 Audience: “Because you get to get rich and own lots of property.”

JJ: Right and what else is in it?

 Audience: “Chance, risk, hotels.”

JJ: You like to play Monopoly even though there is a chance that you could land on someone else’s hotel and lose everything. Why would you wish to play something where there is a chance that you could lose? Have you ever played a game where everybody wins?

 Audience: “Boring.”

JJ: Do you remember a game like this? You do not even want to play such a game would you? We love Monopoly because of the hazards and risks of losing everything, and when you do lose everything you get kind of a sinking feeling. Then you say “I am never going to play this game again,” Then of course you do play the game again. This is what God decided to do. He was sitting up there kind of bored and says, “Well I have to do something more interesting in my next creation. What am I going to do? I know I will create a universe where there are all kinds of pitfalls that is going to make Monopoly look like a piece of cake!”

He says to Himself; “I am going to make it really hard for myself this time. And I am going to jump in this universe and it is going to take everything I have got to figure out how to get from point A to point B. It will take all of the intelligence of Me, and my reflections have to figure out how to get out of this mess that I am going to create. This is going to be interesting because it is much better than floating around here in the void with nothing to do.” So he creates the whole universe, jumps in and loses His memory, and does not know why He is there but just knows He has to get out of it.

Okay, so He starts from scratch. And who are the fingers, toes, eyes, and ears of His body? We are all the appendages to God, and I believe it says that in 1 Corinthians 12. It talks about Christ being the head of the church and the rest of us being the body. Jesus was the head and the rest of us also carry the responsibility of being part of the body of Christ.

The whole universe has God plunging into it, and now after He has plunged into it He has to figure out what to do with it and that is what makes it exciting! Now a lot of people say, “I want there to be a great plan because that makes me feel more comfortable.” If you play Monopoly and you know every roll of the dice is going to be made, would you enjoy the game? Even if you win and you know what every roll of the dice will be, would the game still be fun and exciting? No, it would not be any fun and there would be no challenge. So God limited us, He made us limited so we could have maximum challenge.

But what about the objection that the game scaring us; because if we are responsible then, gosh, we could fail. But there is a principle called the principle of Dominating Good, where the good always dominates, and good always dominates for one reason. Do you know what that reason is? It is a little different than rolling the dice. When you roll the dice you get almost every time 50 percent in your favor and 50 percent against your favor. If you flip a coin you get the same odds; but, as we make our choices and try get out of this maze that we are in there is a Dominating Good. Why does good dominate?

 Audience: “Ultimately it is the line of least resistance.”

JJ: Because of why though?

 Audience: “Because it is our intrinsic nature? Because, God; is the designer.”

JJ: Because of what quality that we all possess that the good dominates.

 Audience: “Love.”

JJ: Let me present it you this way. If you come to a fork in the road and you have to go left or right, do you make a completely random choice, or do you incorporate everything you know about road one and everything you know about road two and you analyze it and then you make a choice. Correct? If you know a little about both paths over all your choice will be what? Your choice will be a little bit to your advantage because you may not know everything about both paths, but you may know something and you are going to use your intelligence to pick the best road. Now we do not always pick the best path, but as we analyze our future sometimes we make big blunders. Humanity was lead into World War II by a number of big blunders for instance.

Other times we will make the right choice. We made the right choice we when decided to fight Hitler and we beat him. So in the end good dominated. Good dominates because of one thing — and that is intelligence in the universe. There is intelligence in this universe. God jumped into this universe, He created it, and manifested intelligence here. And because intelligence is behind all decisions, good winds up dominating in the end and this is not by accident that the good dominates. Good dominates because intelligence is behind decisions. This is what can give one comfort in knowing that good will always dominate in the end.

Space and Vibration

JJ: Today the topic of discussion will be time travel. Shirley was our star in our last presentation of time travel she went into the future and retrieved some very interesting information. Susan, what did Shirley come up with?

 Audience: “It was fascinating she described a society that was very much evolved unlike anything that we are familiar with now. She was a nurse for newborns, some type of caregiver, an occupation for children who hardly had any contact with adults or any down time. It was very interesting.”

JJ: The Scientologists have an interesting concept regarding time travel. Is anyone into Scientology here?

 Audience: Silence.

JJ: I am not into it but I have read up on it. They have what they call a time track. They say that we are on a track that can take us backward or forward in time. They do not believe that you can actually travel to the future physically but it is more of a projected future and a real past. That is pretty much the way that I see time as it applies to us. Time is an interesting thing. Has anyone ever thought of what actually creates time?

 Audience: “Motion.”

JJ: Correct, time is created by motion. Imagine for a moment if there were no motion and think of everything that is in motion that is creating time. I am moving my hands around right now, we have mother earth spinning in motion, we have the clock here in motion. Suppose that clock were to stop? Time would keep on moving because everything else is in motion. But what if everything stopped with the clock? What would happen?

Now we have the earth circling around the sun and the sun circling around the galaxy and the galaxy circling around billions of other galaxies. Everything is in motion around something else, and then we get smaller we have molecules in vibration — we have atoms in vibration around the molecules, and you have the electrons spinning around the center of the atom — and within the center of the atom you have the various quarks and mesons and other particles all in motion. If we had more information, we would find more than that within the atom. Everything is in motion, and when scientists look further and further into matter what did they find?

 Audience: “Space.”

JJ: Yes, all they find is space. They cannot find anything but space and it is amazing how much of our creation that is apparently empty space.

Suppose the sun was as big as a basketball and the earth was as big as a BB. How far away would it be from the end zone  on a football field? If I recall correctly, it would be 30 yards and it is only the size of a BB. Look at all that empty space. Now let’s look at Pluto. How far away would Pluto be? It would be several miles away.

Just look at the sun and the planets and look how much of it is just empty space. The sun as we said is the size of a basketball and the earth the size of BB and it is a 1/3 of the way down the football field. Pretty small. Now being this is about the size of the earth, Mars is smaller and Jupiter and Saturn are quite a bit bigger. 99.99 percent of this solar system is empty space.

Now suppose you traveled to Alpha Centauri, the nearest star, how much space is between us there? If the earth were the size of a basketball and Alpha Centauri was the size of a basketball how far away would that next basketball be?

 Audience: “100 miles.”

JJ: No, you are way off. It would be in England. That is typical of the distance of the stars in our galaxy; and stars are very close together in the galaxy compared to the space between the galaxies. Between the galaxies there are vast amounts of space. Picture in your mind that the sun is the size of a basketball and the sun is a million times larger than the earth. In other words one million earths will fit inside the sun.

The nearest star the size of another basketball is in England, and the only reason we can see Alpha Centauri in the sky (a fairly dim star system) is because it is really a sun that emits very bright light. Then there’s Sirius, which is a hundred times brighter than our sun making it easier to see. Alpha Centauri main sun is about the size of our sun and only as big as a basketball in England. Now we cannot even see a basketball in England from here. The only reason we see Alpha Centauri in the sky is because it is shining so brightly. We see it’s bright light and we do not really see its orb. We just see the light that it shines forth because a sun is so bright that even a little pinpoint is easy to see.

We cannot even see the orb in most of the stars unless we have a very powerful telescope. We only see the light that the star gives off. It interesting at just how much empty space there is. You have all these stars that are as far away as basketballs in England and the U.S. and that is enough empty space. But then you figure the distance between galaxies. Our Milky Way galaxy alone has over 200 billion star systems, and between the galaxies you have vast amounts of empty space.

Now, when we go down to the microcosm we have the atoms and at the center of the atom we have a nucleus orbited by electrons. Now this is a similar type of thing we see in the universe. The electrons would be a similar distance from the nucleus as the planets circling around the sun as we just described. This surface like a desk appears to be solid matter, but we know that it is made up atoms with all this space between them. So how come when I touch this it feels solid if it is 99.99 percent empty space? Why does this feel solid? How come we do not go through each other and able to walk through walls with all this empty space?

 Audience: “Because motion creates an energy field.”

JJ: Yes, it does that.

 Audience: “Frequency, or syncing of the vibration. If the vibration is out of sync then you do not get the penetration. In the movie, ‘What the Bleep do we know?’ There was a little boy on a basketball court. It was said that the basketball never touched the court and nothing really touches anything else but the magnetic polarities of everything pushes against each other.”

JJ: All of this has validity to it and the simplest way to understand it is to think of a tiny speck of dust in this ray of light here. Now if that speck of dust was going 10 miles an hour it would go back and forth like this and you would be able to pass right through this wall. Suppose it was going a hundred miles an hour, a thousand miles an hour, a million miles an hour, or suppose it was going near the speed of light. If one speck of dust was going near the speed of light the wall would be solid.

That is what happens with an electron. The electron circulates around it and produces a wave as well as electromagnetic energy; and, all produces a solid in relation to other atoms so they do not actually touch but create a barrier that prevents them from merging with each other.

So a barrier could actually be created here by one speck of dust going the speed of light, one that is so powerful that you would not be able to go through it if it’s speed was fast enough. The electrons circle around atoms near the speed of light — not at the speed of light but near the speed of light. This produces what appears to be solid. For instance, it appears that I cannot put my hand through this wall. It is interesting what Loraine said, that we are really not touching anything but instead there is just a barrier of energy there that it makes. It is not impossible, but impractical to go through this wall.

The scientists go deeper and deeper within the atom and they cannot find anything solid. In the beginning they came up with the word atom because they assumed this was going to be the smallest particle in the universe. The atom was theorized by an ancient Greek philosopher, and then finally in the early part of the last century they discovered that they exist and they thought this was it. This must be the smallest particle in the universe. But was it the smallest particle? Was it even a particle?

 Audience: “No.”

JJ: They explored the atom and found out electrons, and protons are traveling around in there like a miniature solar system. And then they found out it was mostly empty space. Then they began to wonder if there was such a thing as a solid. We keep getting smaller and smaller and we keep finding more space. They think that and if we go smaller still we may find the ultimate particle — they call “the God particle.”

We can only find one thing and that is wave lengths or some scientists call it string theory. Before string theory became popular back in 1978, I called it a wavelength.

The wavelength is created from an unknown source. Where it comes from nobody knows because where it comes from has no form. We call this Purpose. We could call it a trinity or Light, Love and Purpose. We have the purpose of God originating from an unknown point and where it comes from no one knows. It is beyond time and space. It projects energy, and that energy begins to vibrate, and when it vibrates it creates the wavelength. The wavelength then creates everything there is. That is all the scientists can find are wavelengths. Everything in the universe is created by wavelengths. What does that mean? It means that everything is created by illusion because the wavelength is an illusion.

I call it the guitar string principle. You take a single guitar string – how many strings do you see? You see one string, now you pluck the string really hard. Now you see numerous strings, usually you see three strings. Which one is the real string? Are there three strings?

 Audience: “No.”

JJ: Correct, the guitar string, when it is vibrating, is just a wavelength. A wavelength with a top, a bottom and a middle. This creates all there is, and all this creation, our universe, is built on the principle of illusion of having the purpose energy of God in vibration, and that vibration creates a wavelength that is created out of illusion.

This is the reason that there is no traceable First Cause that anyone can find. It is the reason that new cause can be entered into this world, because it is built on the principle of illusion. If you are just dreaming a world you can just create energy in that dream. Let’s suppose you are a dreamer and you have power over the dream. You could say well I could create a tree here, and explosion over here.

You can create reality if you are the master of illusion. God is the master of illusion, so he created this reality by making His essence vibrate. By making His essence vibrate up and down, we have the illusion of the Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost — the Creator of all things. These aspects, which are called many things: the Father, Son, the Holy Ghost; first, second and third rays; Power, Love, intelligent activity are three esoteric names for them.

Each of these three divisions is what created the reality as we know it. From these three there are four other vibrations which finish off the seven rays. In the Bible they are called the seven creative spirits before the throne of God. In the Book of Revelation it tells us about the seven spirits that are before the throne of God, and these are the seven creative spirits or rays that we see in the colors of the rainbow. The weakest is indigo and the reason that is the weakest is because it is the most recent color to be added to our universe. As this universe ages, indigo will become more pronounced and more easily seen and recognized. In our musical notes we have seven major notes. The black keys, the sharps, represent the space in between the seven major notes. From the seven major notes we can create any type of music we want. From the three primary colors evolve the seven, and from them are all the colors in the universe that we see manifest.

2006 Gathering, Part 7
Making Contact

JJ: Now this higher part of ourselves vibrates and sends down pure knowledge, intuition, ideas, concepts and principles. It sends these down so the lower self can register them and if we can put ourselves in the frame of mind where we are asleep yet awake it helps us to register this higher part of our self.

Where does the Solar Angel come into play? The Solar Angel is a being which is a master on it’s own plane. If we were to visit with the Master Jesus or any of the other great Masters that work with the Christ related to this Earth, what we would feel, if we were in tune, is we would feel the vibration of our higher selves and then that vibration would filter down as they spoke to us. If a Higher Being were to send us an impression, maybe he would be on the other side of the world and maybe He is aware of you and sends you an impression. You can receive that impression through your soul, through the upper triangle filtering down to the lower triangle and then you can feel the vibration throughout your whole body and know that something real has been communicated. At first you may not understand exactly where it came from.

The door between the upper and the lower is what we call the soul. And the soul is neither spirit nor matter but is the interplay between spirit and matter. This interplay between spirit and matter where the upper triangle and the lower triangle meet and the interplay is what we call soul energy. Soul energy is behind all form. Everything that has form, has it because you have spirit and matter meeting and the soul energy keeps the form intact and in play. It provides the energy that makes form and keeps form.

When the soul energy begins to vibrate in your body, you will feel the vibration. The first time you feel the vibration is when the experience happens that is called the birth of The Christ in the heart. Arriving here is through a process of using the concrete lower mind, and he uses his logic and reason, he uses his brain, his knowledge, he learns all kinds of things from books and moves so far ahead that he thinks he is way ahead of all the religious people and he thinks he is really making progress.

But as he continues from life to life, he eventually reaches the point where his mind is not satisfying anymore. He looks at everything around him and says there has got to be more than just being born and learning and dying. And he cannot get his questions answered using normal means. When he first started to develop his lower mind he thought he had many things answered, but as he moves on he begins to realize he has developed many questions with no answers. How is he going to answer these questions? And as he ponders this then he begins to stimulate his higher mind and begins to open the door to the soul and if he has a sincere heart he will have soul energy flow into him and feel the vibration. He may sense the still small, voice; the still small voice is a communication he receives that is so still, so small, that he thinks he is imagining it. But for the first time in maybe hundreds or thousands of lifetimes he finally feels this, after his long quest.

He first thinks he was imagining this and brushes it aside. He may come back and he may have the experience several times until finally he realizes that this was something and it was just not his imagination. Then, if he pays attention to it, it will grow in power. It will be fairly slow at first then eventually he will begin to merge with the soul and then he will know for sure that the soul energy he felt was real and was not his imagination.

Others will cast their first soul impressions aside and but if one casts it aside he will lose it for at least a lifetime, but then he will have another chance in a future lifetime. Some people have to go through quite a number of lifetimes before it dawns on them that the soul energy is real. When it dawns on the person that it is in fact real, then he communicates with his Solar Angel. Then his Solar Angel in meditation deep communicates with His reflection.

There are several types of higher communication. One is from your Solar Angel. Another, from a higher entity that may have some type of communication with you. There is a difference. If you feel communication from a higher entity that is in a physical body somewhere that, in say, a state of meditation or maybe not in a physical body that is in a state of meditation with you, it will be somewhat of a different feeling or vibration than communicating with your Solar Angel which will feel more like it belongs to you, like a higher part of yourself.

All of the higher beings use the soul energy to communicate with you so you will feel that same vibration but this vibration will seem to be coming from a different direction. If you are receiving the vibration of another actual being His personal vibration will blend with the vibration of soul energy and will have a specific signature. Everybody you meet has what I call a signature. Artie [JJ’s wife] has a certain signature. She is like no one else in the universe.

When you get close to someone they have certain essence about them that is uniquely their own.

Everybody has a different feel about them, and you begin to recognize these. Now if a Higher Being is making a communication with you that is an actual entity, He will have his personal signature. The soul energy is the same with all these communications but it is a little like water is just water. But if you mix water with raspberry flavoring than it tastes different than when you mix it with orange flavoring but the water part of it is the same. This is the way it is with the soul; the soul is the soul. Say Artie may be raspberry flavor and Susie may be orange flavor. But the medium of the soul is the same and the different sources that you contact through the soul have a little different vibration. Some of these you will learn to recognize.

The most important thing you will recognize will be the spiritual group that you are a member of. When you break through and make specific soul contact you actually merge with a group that has a similar vibration. Some of these people in the group are in physical bodies that have made contact as you have and some of them are in the spiritual world and they are linked through the higher mind. The group as whole has a specific vibration but it is a different vibration that an individual is.

You may be linked to several hundred or more souls through your personal group that you are affiliated with. This follows what is known as “a dark night of the soul.” The dark night of the soul is where you feel that you are undergoing problems that no one else in the universe has had before, that you are alone and have certain feelings of depression and feelings that you think no one else has. But then when you persevere and continue you will eventually break through and reach your group soul.

Just before you reach that point you will feel extremely alone. The disciple goes through this period of loneliness and sometimes it may last quite a long period of time for he will go through extreme loneliness before he makes his breakthrough. Loneliness is where he feels isolated and where he feels that no one has had to travel the path that he has traveled with all its adversities, that he is unique.

What he does not realize is that everybody goes through this sooner or later, maybe not in this particular lifetime but everybody goes through this period of isolation and extreme loneliness. He must persevere; if he does not then the loneliness will stay with him. He must persevere and have faith that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and he must continue.

Whatever happens in life the key is to continue because there is no way he can cease his journey so he might as well. People commit suicide because they do not want to continue anymore and they go to the next world and find that they must continue so taking his life merely wasted time. So no matter what you do, you just cannot destroy yourself, you cannot stop yourself from continuing. Many times, people feel like giving up and that person wants to take their life and jump off a cliff, divorce his wife or end a situation but the only way through life is through it. We must continue so when we reach that point in the dark night of the soul where we feel we cannot continue then that is the time to continue. That is the time to persevere and if you persevere the time will come when all the loneliness will be taken away and you will never be lonely again because you will always feel the presence of your group.

After you have been married and in love and have a good relationship and you are separated for a period of time and then you get back together it is really nice. And you say “honey I missed you a lot, life is so much better when you are around.” When you make this breakthrough to your group then you are never alone and there is never a time when they are not around. You are always connected to your inner group and you will never be lonely again unless you take a tremendous leap backwards and deny the magical power of the soul. But not too many do after they have established the link to the soul 100 percent. Through the soul you have this magical link with other beings like you and then these beings have links with other beings and this link is what I call the “Oneness Principle”. Through the Oneness Principle you have a link with your inner group and then your inner group is connected with all other inner groups connected with his planet.

It is like a spiritual internet having access to all principles. Not so much data but access to all principles and all truth with the ability to perceive truth through error through this contact with the oneness principle. Many people say, can I get actual data like can I discover if the Shroud of Turin was real, can I go back in the past and read the record of who really built the pyramids. Can I do stuff like that? This is not really knowledge of principles. Knowledge of principles is where we take in principles and learn to decipher truth from error and this can lead to understanding the truth from error in history.

It is also possible to go and read the Akashic records. It is very difficult and it takes a lot of meditation and much time spent in that mind state. Some of the yogi in the East can do it. The major difficulty we have in the West is that we do not dedicate enough time to the inner meditation the way the East does. In the East they develop more of the inner lines of the inner thinking and we in the West develop more on the lines of the outer thinking. This is the way it should be, because both the inner and the outer on this planet need to balance each other out.
