Falling In Love

Falling In Love

The first question: “Do you believe that you have experienced soul contact with another person? If so why is it that you were able to do this and what did it feel like?”

A number of the group related interesting accounts of how they have had soul contact with another. Someone mentioned that falling in love opens the door of the soul. This is true.

The first step a person does make toward shared soul contact is falling in love.

Think a moment. What causes a person to fall in love with another? What makes it happen is that the couple for a short period overlooks every possible fault and imperfection in the loved one, even if those faults are glaring to friends and family. When you look in the eyes of another and see only perfection what do you see? You see the face of Christ and this opens the door of the soul.

Thanks to the attractive forces of the polarities most males and females in relationship feel the power of the soul through romantic love. The power of this love works to give average people a belief in the soul that stays with them for many lifetimes until the time comes that they begin to hear the still small voice and move on to higher spiritual feelings.

Now what causes this powerful and wonderful love in a relationship to dissipate and sometimes turn to love-hate or even hate-hate?

When the love subsides the two people are still the same people with the same faults. They should be just as lovable as ever, but to their partner they do not seem to be. The reason? Instead of seeing the face of Christ in each other they now are looking at the lower imperfect self.

Now the male sees his mate with many irritating traits and ceases to adore her and has amnesia of the Christ he originally saw in her. She sees a guy who just sits around and watches football and doesn’t seem to pay her any attention.

Neither of them seem nearly as cleaver, smart or funny as they were in the beginning. All of these faults distract the vision from the good, the beautiful and the true to the negative, the ugly and the false.

What is the key to returning to love?

Answer: Another divine characteristic must be brought into play and that is will. Will as an aspect of God must be brought from heaven to earth and we must use this will to force ourselves to look beyond the imperfections of the other and back to the perfect face of Christ that has never left our loved one. Will can resurrect the Christ and the love in a relationship so the end will be as it was in the beginning

Question: “Do you feel one in the soul with any other members on the group?”

A number of you gave a positive response to this. As time passes the communion of the members through the soul should substantially increase despite periodical flare-ups.

Question: “What are the barriers that prevent two people from entering soul contact together and experiencing the Oneness Principle? How do we overcome these barriers?”

We talked a little about this as it applies to a romantic relationship, but the same principles apply to all relationships.

If you have a friend or co-worker and all your attention is focused on what is wrong with him this takes your attention away from the face of Christ that is within him. Again, by an act of will we must direct our attention away from his faults and toward the soul. When this is done the seeker can then sense and realize the oneness of all mankind and that his brother on a higher level is one with him.

Question: Can we have an awareness of the imperfections of another yet still see the perfection within? How is this possible?

The scripture says: “They shall see eye to eye when the Lord shall bring again Zion.” How can a group see eye to eye without the imposition of strong authority? We see how difficult it is with us don’t we? Is it possible for a large group to see eye to eye?

A skeptic associated me with some New Age teachers with some strange views.

I am happy to defend my teachings, but I cannot defend the mishmash of philosophies of others.

The only problem you seem to have with me so far is what I have not done yet. There are billions of good things all of us have not done. Do you have any problems with what I have done – that is with my “works” the true criteria by which Christ said we will be judged?

I invite you to continue to stay on the group and participate.

Comment: “Seeing eye to eye in this context does not mean agreeing on every little thing like mindless robots which is the fruits of strong authority. But rather agreeing to overlook one another’s faults and allowing individuality, and guarding the free agency of one another, agreeing to disagree etc.”

JJ: No one said that seeing eye to eye is being like a mindless robot. Seeing eye to eye through the Holy Spirit uses all the heart and the mind so if anything being one in Christ is mind-full and heart-full,

If seeing eye to eye is “agreeing to disagree” then there should be plenty of people building Zion right now. Zion awaits a people who can see eye to eye in the building of God.

In our lower natures we have many disagreements and when we reach a dead end we may agree to disagree. Many people without soul contact do this daily. But as we approach building the kingdom of God, points will be reached where agreeing to disagree will not work but will cause progress to come to a screeching halt. When this happens the Oneness Principle must come into play and the two must contact the Spirit through the Soul together. Then the Spirit which is One reveals the same principle involved to both of them at the same instant and then two or more entities become as one mind joined in the one mind of God. The instant the revelation is received they no longer agree to disagree, but agree to agree, providing both abide by what they have received and do not deny the revelation of the Spirit. They will then move ahead seeing “eye to eye.”

Notice that it does not say eyes to eyes? This is because of the emphasis put on the unity that is attainable through the window of the soul.

The Kingdom Within

The Kingdom Within

A reader comments: “What is missing here for me is that in describing step four of “soul contact,” he describes a person turning “inward” for answers, to their own soul; but he omits from the discussion any form of turning “upward” to heaven for answers. To me, if it doesn’t also include turning “upward,” then that turning “inward” means nothing but self absorption and hence opening oneself to the master deceiver.”

JJ: And how do you look “upward” toward heaven? When you pray do you leave your eyes open and look up in the sky? Of course not… Mormons and other most other religions I know pray with their eyes shut with their consciousness focused within. If it was without you would pray with your eyes open.

Since Jesus said the “kingdom of God is within you,” Luke 17:21 and such statement registers so true to the souls of men it is difficult to see how seeking this kingdom within as “self absorption.”

When we pray Jesus said to “enter into thy closet.” Where is our closet? Is it out there somewhere or is it within?

When you draw within to pray, meditate or seek for answers where is up or down, right or left? Technically they do not exist for the Spirit of God dwells in the very center of your being. When that center is found you seem to be lifted up in awareness and thus God is refereed to as “up there,’ but it would be more accurate to describe him as “in there.” If the kingdom of God is within then it only stands to reason that God dwells in his kingdom does it not?

What is the difference between those who have the mark of the beast and those who have escaped the mark?

Concerning those who escape the mark it is written:

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.” Rev 14:1

Where was the Father’s name?

It is not “up there” but written within “in their foreheads.” One must go within and find God to escape the outward authority of the Beast which has his mark in the foreheads of the deceived which mark is an authoritative “God out there,” which is represented by some authoritative figure.

Miracle Questions

Another reader says, “The Son is the out-picturing of the Father. Therefore it is One. There was no imperfect Son in the beginning in the bosom of a perfect Father God… and there is still a Perfect Son, in the bosom of a perfect Father God.”

JJ: I find a lot of good in the Course in Miracles, but if one accepts it without question or reasoning he may find himself getting into some illusion and doublespeak comparable to Orwell’s 1984.

The Course in Miracles says that the creation of our whole universe including time and space was an “insane” mistake on the part of the Son.

If this is the case and we have a perfect Son still abiding in the bosom of the Father who was the imperfect Son that created all things? Do we have a perfect and imperfect Son – One makes mistakes and the other one does not???

The Course tells us that when we reach the holy instant that this insane world will disappear before our eyes. This includes our physical body. We will then leave this world forever and enter a “perfect world.

Problem: Not one student has graduated the course yet.

The Course teaches us that this perfect world is changeless “being.” No further decisions will ever be made there. You will never again progress from point A to point B for you will be dwelling in ultimate perfection and there is no where else for you to progress towards.

Problem: Do we even want to live in such a static place?

The Course does say that this other world is perfect and changeless and God who dwells there is perfect yet we continue to create.

Problem: This seems to be doublespeak for if we are living in a perfect changeless world then additional creation will create change. How can we live in a changeless world yet change it through creation?

How can there be no time yet at one time a creation is not and another time the creation is? This can only happen in time.

The Course tells us to not have special relationships that they are “unholy” and should be released.

Problem: It sounds like we should all be single, end the marriage relationship, and concentrate on going through the door of the perfect world.

The course seems to have reasoning that answers objections.

Problem: It gives circular reasoning using doublespeak.

For instance: God and the Son are perfect and so are you because you are one with the Son so why does imperfection seem to exist?

ACIM Answer: The world we are in does not really exist so The Son and all of us can still be perfect because none of us are here, we just think we are here.

Question: Wouldn’t that be an imperfect mistake for the Son to think he is here when he is not?

ACIM Answer: No. He just thinks he is thinking that he is here. He is really there.

Question: If we are not here why should we be concerned about leaving this place where we are not?

ACIM Answer: So the part of us that does not exist does not have to suffer any more.

Question: But can that which does not exist suffer?

ACIM Answer: No. We do not exist here so we do not really suffer. We just think we are, but since we think we are in this place we should concentrate on getting away from where we are not.

Question: If we are not here how can we leave a place where we are not?

ACIM Answer: We just think we leave from this mistaken universe where we think we are, but we will be really happy to get to the real world where we have always been, and really we are there now, so I guess we are happy now I think.

Am I the only guy (outside of religionists who have not read it) in the universe who questions this book? Just because it was claimed to have been written by Jesus does not mean that we should follow like sheep. Do we really want to cease becoming and dwell in a static unchangeable state for the rest of eternity? An enthusiastic follower of this course needs to ask himself this question.

Houston, We Have a Problem

This entry is part 11 of 11 in the series Esoteric Teachings

Houston, We Have a Problem

In this case, Houston, is a symbol of the esoteric world.

There is a problem in the land of Ancient Wisdom occupied by students of Alice A. Bailey and H. P. Blavatsky.

And what is that problem? You say.

The problem is that numerous esoteric groups are disregarding admonitions of the teachings they endorse and promote.

And why do I say this?

For one thing they ban many sincere seekers from participating, often leaving them perplexed with no idea as to why they were thrown off. Many are banned not only from posting, but even viewing open sites.

Tell me. What harm can a person do just by viewing posts?

I speak here from experience as that I have been banned from most groups I have joined which are dedicated to the writings of Alice A. Bailey and Blavatsky. And I am not alone. I know of numerous other sincere seekers with much to contribute who have had the same problem.

What is going on here? Are us banned folk a bunch of disrupters elbowing our way in and causing mayhem?

That may happen once in a while, but it has not been the case with me or any of my friends.

I can speak for myself and will say this. I am always willing to abide by the rules of any group I join and if I find myself inadvertently doing something contrary to the wishes of the administrators I will instantly conform and respect the right of group owners to set their own rules. I do expect them to honor their own guidelines though which sometimes does not happen.

I don’t seem to have a problem with groups not related to the ancient wisdom, but particularly the Bailey related groups have an intolerance and exclusive attitude that far exceeds other groups out there.

Since coming on to Facebook I have joined about a dozen Ancient Wisdom related sites and been banished from at least eight that I recall. None of them gave me a warning first, but just pulled my membership out of the blue. I did have a slim idea of the last ban and that was I merely asked the administrator why he deleted one of my posts. I wondered what the problem was with it.

That was enough. I was thrown off without warning.

The strange thing is that I am a very easy person to get along with. I am not a rebel for the sake of rebellion and don’t go looking for trouble. When I am in another’s group or house I try and respect the rules, and this was my approach in all these groups which have banned me. Some have even banned me when I had not even posted for a considerable time.

Here’s the situation with some of these groups as it appears to me. They are controlled by watchers who do not decide who can participate by any guidelines they have, but by their feelings. If they feel some member does not fit they formulate a reason in their mind to ban them.

This demonstrates a very high intolerance for any view, expressed or unexpressed, that doesn’t conform to their views.

In my case I did not post anything in any of the groups that ran contrary to the teachings of the ancient wisdom or the guidelines of the group as I understood them. In most cases I do not know why I was banned without warning. Perhaps part of it is that I am gaining some traction as a spiritual teacher and some may not like what I say on my own web page and groups. Who knows?

Even if this is the case it does not explain why many of my friends have been banned also.

So how does this banning and excluding those who do not pass the smell test fit in to the actual teachings? Are we supposed to have a hair trigger toward exclusion, or lean toward inclusiveness?

Indeed, inclusiveness is a quality often stressed by DK. He sets the tone by stating that the soul’s “nature is inclusive love.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 221

He further says that:

“The major idea which I would have you bear in mind is the development of Inclusiveness. This inclusiveness is the outstanding characteristic of the soul, or self, whether it is the soul of man, the sensitive nature of the cosmic Christ, or the anima mundi, the soul of the world. This inclusiveness tends to synthesis. Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 556

“the Christ and His workers know only the experience of group consciousness. A separative participation and attitude is unknown to Them, for Their state of awareness is inclusive and in no way exclusive.” Reappearance of the Christ, Pages 68-69

Obviously the attitude of Christ, the Masters and our own soul is centered on inclusion. What causes the student to go contrary to this path? Again DK beautifully explains:

“You are, under the glamour of idealism, apt to sacrifice the spirit of love in order to preserve the form of your ideal. Ponder on this for it is basic in its teaching value for you if you grasp rightly the implications. *** Ideals, as usually held, feed pride, lead to stubbornness, and engender a separative superiority; they produce impractical attitudes and negative activities. The one who thus holds them frequently serves only in the limited field, conditioned by his chosen work and coloured by his idealism. He excludes the Whole and thinks in terms of the past and as he wants to think. There is no real understanding of an opposing idealism and often no real attempt to comprehend its basis. His emphasis upon his own ideals (in his own consciousness even when not imposed on others) prevents understanding, and he is so busy upholding them and defending them (oft again to himself) and being conditioned by them that the larger human issues escape his attention. He settles down within the limits of his own beliefs. This makes him immediately a theologian and his usefulness then rapidly evaporates, except in the intimate circle of his fellow idealists. As time goes on, crystallisation takes place. A ‘crystal barrier’ is set up between the personality and the soul. The soul is seen but its influence is insulated. But—because there is a vision of the soul still persisting—the disciple is deeply dissatisfied. The crystallisation eventually affects all aspects of the nature. Emotions settle into ‘grooves of crystal’; the mind becomes set and brittle. The physical body crystallises also and gets old rapidly because there is no free flow of life.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 530-531

So, some students are so rigidly set upon ideals within their minds that they miss the big picture that is only seen through maximum inclusion.

Yes, it is true that exclusion does have its place. If someone is rude, abusive or completely out of alignment with group goals then it may be best to send them on their way. On the other hand, groups dedicated to spreading the Ancient Wisdom should have as large of a net as possible to bring in and invoke sincere seekers.

So then, the first major problem with esoteric groups is that too many are exclusive rather than inclusive. They reject students of the Ancient Wisdom who think a little differently from themselves.

A second major problem with many esoteric groups is the limited range of expression allowed. Now it is understandable that if a group is dedicated to a certain subject that they would like members to stay focused on that subject. However, this is not the type of limitation that is the problem. The problem arises when those in control have an ideal in their mind of what is the correct doctrine or approach and all must conform to it or be banned. Many go to extreme to maintain peace and frown upon any arguments (even though civil) between members and especially a disagreement with the leadership.

This rigidity prevents the free flow of ideas and causes groups to create a “crystal barrier” to use a phrase from DK.

After joining a group the student gets a feel as to what he or she can say and what is forbidden. If the thoughts of students are of high quality the group range should be very inclusive to accommodate, but often they are very restrictive instead and students who do not discern the unwritten guidelines will often find themselves banned without warning.

To ban and block a sincere student without warning is a great error, siding with exclusion, not inclusion. If a sincere student’s posts are somewhat out of order and he is warned then there is a good chance he will conform and be a productive member.

Conclusion: Esoteric groups seeking to be in harmony with teachings of inclusion should work with students to integrate and allow for maximum freedom of expression within group guidelines.

There seems to be two illusions that guide many of the groups. The first is an idealized standard of truth that is not to be infringed or challenged and the second is the illusion of peace by suppression. Peace that is obtained by suppression of speech is not true peace at all and not desirable as thought by many. All reach that point of decision as did Arjuna and “when right decision and choice have been made ‘stand up and fight,’ and will find themselves no longer on the Path of Purification but upon the Path of Discipleship.” Glamour, A World Problem, Page 100

The fourth ray governs humanity and it operates on the principle of harmony through conflict, not harmony by avoiding conflict, as many seem to think. Conflict brings forth opposing ideas and their contrast sheds light and the eventual increase of light brings the real harmony and the true peace.

DK says, “entire groups of people are increasingly susceptible to their (ray) influence and this inevitably leads to these groups (responsive to either the sixth or the seventh ray forces) being in opposition to and antagonistic to each other.” Destiny of the Nations, Page 45

So we have those under the Piscean authoritarian sixth ray who seek peace through suppression in conflict with the arriving seventh ray people who and centered on mind and seek harmony through conflict, above that of suppression.

This is a major problem as the ages shift and the new way of thinking begins to overtake the old. The authority of the old church fathers is being replaced by the authority of the soul expressed by individual expression.

Those who are in contact with the soul or the Masters will generate conflict as DK says, “The over-shadowing of all disciples and initiates, and the consequent stimulation of their natures and of their environment, must inevitably produce conflict; the outpouring of the stimulating love of God into the hearts of men must equally and inevitably produce conflict; the line of cleavage between men of goodwill and the unresponsive natures of those uninfluenced by this quality will be made abundantly, usefully and constructively clear. It will be obvious also that when Christ establishes the “centre or focal point of the divine Purpose” in some definite place on Earth, its radiation and implementary potency will also produce the needed conflict which precedes the clarification and the renunciation of obstructions.” Rays and Initiations, Pages 617-618

A higher light and conflict then “precedes the clarification and the renunciation of obstructions.”

Synthesis must be obtained in spite of differences and conflicts for “Only as servers cooperate from the standpoint of an inner subjective linking can a united world be carried forward…. the inner relationships and cooperation Must be established and developed, in spite of the outer divergences of opinion.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 106

When the sincere Aquarian open-minded seeker searches out a group related to Ancient Wisdom in which to participate on Facebook or other sources, what does he find?

He finds some dedicated to single subjects. That’s well and good he says, but I want to investigate a wide range of thinking. He searches on and finds others focused on Theosophy or Ancient Wisdom in general and plunges in but soon discovers that the discussion is firmly limited. No disagreement with the authorities is permitted and any argument with a fellow member may get one silenced in one way or another. The student then finds that the groups do not seem to provide an avenue for expansive thinking.

Where can he go to release the light of the soul he has been given?

Where could I go to even post this treatise?

This is a problem I have sought to rectify by creating several outlets for seekers to be able to freely express themselves in alternative spiritual thinking and the Ancient Wisdom within reasonable group guidelines and civility.

First of all, we have my main group, The Keys of Knowledge, (LINK) which allows for an open discussion of on topic subjects. I generally do not take action on members even when they insult me, though I may give them a warning or may delete their posts if they insult others.

Many who are into the Ancient Wisdom who lean to the right have had no place to express themselves. Most esoteric sites lean left and allow expression in that direction, but little or nothing from the right. Several approached me about starting a spiritual political group that welcomes all views.

We started such a site called “Esoteric Politics and Freedom.”

Here is the LINK

Others desire a place they can go to discuss different views concerning the Ancient Wisdom. Now they can discuss different views here on the Keys, but the ancient Wisdom is just one of the sources used here. To fill this void I created a new group (Quotes of Enlightenment and Ancient Wisdom) which focuses on an open and free discussion of Wisdom writings, particularly those from Alice A. Bailey. Here is the LINK

Students are welcome in all three groups and different views are allowed as long as they are on topic and civil.

Two Becoming One

Two Becoming One

We are continuing the Principles of Discovery and will examine the following:

Effective Communication

(A) Communication through perception of the outside world.

(B) Person to person communication.

(C) Communication through the soul.

We have covered (A) and (B) and now we come to perhaps the most important principle.

In the past we have talked quite a bit about soul contact on a personal basis and this is all-important in personal discovery.

Let us cover briefly how much we can discover without soul contact.

We can divide humanity into four stages upon the path:

Stage 1: Learning through the physical computer brain.

Stage 2: Learning through feeling in connection with the brain.

Stage 3: Learning through mind, that is the use of logic and reasoning in association with stages 1 and 2.

Stage 4: Learning and discovery through the synthesis of soul contact in connection with 1, 2 and 3.

We realize that Stage 4 could be split into several more categories, but this would not be productive for our discussion as soul contact applies to all seekers and talking about some direct contact with the Monad is meaningless to most.

Stage 1: Learning through the physical computer brain.

The beginners on the path rely heavily on learning through the brain, but not using the heart and mind to sift through what is right or wrong about what is taken in.

This person will trust his teachers and learn from them, but he will absorb the mistakes of the teacher without the discernment of truth from error.

Such a person can even get a Ph.D. and have access to all kinds of data in his computer brain but does not deviate from what has been spoon fed him through established teachers.

Stage 2: Learning through feeling in connection with the brain.

In addition to taking in data this person will sift through the data and tend to accept that which “feels” right and reject that which “feels” wrong. Because his judgments of truth and error are based upon the upside down world of emotion he will often pick error rather than truth to pursue.

But the interesting thing is that is not a bad thing, but all part of the great design for humanity to learn its lessons.

Before we can really embrace that which is true we often have to know through experience that which does not work. If we do not experience that which does not work it will make it difficult to follow the path of truth with confidence, for without this experience one will always be looking over his shoulder wondering if the choice never made might have been the better one.

Thus during Stage 2 the pilgrim stumbles again and again, experiencing turbulence after turbulence, suffering agony after agony, traveling through darkness, fear and depression.

Finally after making about every mistake that he can make he comes to the conclusion that he needs more than data and feeling to guide him on the path and he begins to use his mind and think and reason. He then decides to be guided only by that which makes sense, is scientific and sound thinking.

Stage 3: Learning through mind, that is the use of logic and reasoning in association with stages 1 and 2.

At the beginning of this state he will often be an atheist or totally reject his previous philosophy for a period of time having his whole belief system determined by reason alone. Then after a number of lifetimes his reason leads back to a belief in the possibility of a higher power and he becomes somewhat agnostic.

For a time the entity believes that the mind is the ultimate solution for living a sensible life. The philosophy is simple: If a thing makes sense and is logical embrace it. If a teaching or path does not make sense reject it. He feels much superior to the person at stage two for he doesn’t make nearly as many mistakes, but as time passes he keeps running into the same problem which faces him again and again.

His accurate conclusions are based on reliable facts and principles and if he is missing some of the data then his conclusions will be wrong or perhaps no conclusion can even be drawn. The more he learns the more he realizes how little he knows until he reaches a point where it dawns on him that in many cases his mind has not revealed truth, but instead slayed that which is true. At each dead end the mind came to an incomplete conclusion and rejected the truth because it did not fit within his paradigm.

As this person gets the first glimmers of soul contact he senses that there is some type of inner guide that is greater than mind, but uses both heart and mind. This first contact then is an intuition that there are answers within greater than mind. At first he has difficulty in accepting this idea, but as his frustration with progress on the Path increases geometrically he keeps returning to this possibility. Finally, he has some type of painful crises and has no where else to turn except within and for the first time he allows himself to believe that there is a contact available that is a sure compass of truth. This belief, and finally faith, after a journey of millions of years opens the door to the true reality.

Stage 4: Learning and discovery through the synthesis of soul contact in connection with 1, 2 and 3.

For many who are below Stage 4 it will seem that truth is a relative thing for they see that there does not seem to be one other person in the world that agrees with their individualized thought. The discovery made at Stage 4, however, is that it is not truth that is relative, but the perception of truth. Any two witnesses who are at the same crime scene demonstrate this principle. The two saw the same events, but perceived them differently and, consequently, describe them differently. The jury has to look for similarities to discover the truth.

At Stage 4 a true principle from the Course in Miracles is discovered. “The truth is true and nothing else is true.”

2+2=4 and there is no other number in the universe that is the correct answer. 2+2=4 and nothing else is true. If we believe otherwise it is because we perceive incorrectly. Our wrong perception does not alter any truth. Now we can shift our attention to millions of different formulas, or truths, but if tomorrow we are learning that 3+3=6; this does not alter the previous truth. Only our attention has shifted.

In the first three stages 2+2 will often seem to equal 3, 5, 7 or some other number. It seems that everyone has their favorite answer and there is little agreement as to which number is correct, nor does there seem to be any way to prove the correctness of any number.

But the world of soul is different. All souls are linked to the One Life who sees with the same eye of vision and those who make this contact and seek the answer see that 2+2=4 and nothing else is true.

When soul contact is first made the pilgrim will often feel lonely and have no one to commune with who has also made the contact. During this period he learns as an individual, but yearns to be one with others like himself.

This brings us to the pivotal point in stage 4 where two seekers become one through the one soul of humanity. He learns the secret of the words of Christ: “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

The Christ is the Master of the kingdom of the soul for soul is the medium of the Christ principle.

Soul contact is the door that brings us to the Oneness Principle that I have often mentioned. When the door is open and the seeker enters in he becomes one in the body of the soul and two or more who dwell beyond this door together will see the same vision.

Now that this first great hurdle has been crossed a second major obstacle is now in the way. It is fine to enter into the world of soul and then return and be “in the world,” but when the consciousness settles down in this reality we tend to get spiritual amnesia and lose sight of the soul. Losing sight of the soul is especially easy to do in relationships. As far as the isolated individual goes there is not as much to get in the way of soul contact as there is with another human being. Why? Because most of us see ourselves as good decent humans trying to do our best. But those with whom we are in relationship with is another matter. They often seem dead wrong, cold hearted, distant, stubborn, mean spirited, and just plain nasty at times. When these negative aspects that are not part of the kingdom of the soul are focussed on then the soul goes out of focus and the two remain two.

The principle of Oneness is this: 1+1=1

You being one communicate through the soul with another who is one and join through the soul into a unified life where you discover that the two of you are a part of one soul with one vision. Thus 1+1=1. This mathematical formula will be rejected by mind without soul, but makes perfect sense to the soul infused personality.

Questions for consideration:

Do you believe that you have experienced soul contact with another person? If so why is it that you were able to do this and what did it feel like?

What are the barriers that prevent two people from entering soul contact together and experiencing the Oneness Principle? How do we overcome these barriers?

Seeking Group Harmony

Seeking Group Harmony

Many problems occur in a group when we expect our view of perfection out of our friends and associates. That just never happens so a first step on the road to harmony is to accept that.

I’ve always liked Joseph Smith statement on this. He said: “if they expected perfection from me, I should expect it from them.”

The second step is to accept that most people out there do not believe as you (the individual) does.

Similar vision is possible through soul contact and similar belief often occurs when two are governed by one strong authority, but when people are allowed to be individuals, and not all have soul contact on all matters, then there will be a diversity of belief.

The solution to this problem is not to get angry at those who think differently than ourselves, but in the word “acceptance.”

There is only one path to oneness (if we exclude the false oneness through the authority of the Beast) and that is through the soul, or Spirit, using Mormon language. If we see ourselves as being in the soul and wish others to be there, then the best we can do is share the light they are willing to receive, give them all the love they are willing to receive and wait for them to go within and discover the truth that is true. If the person never goes within in this lifetime then he may just remain where he is and this must be accepted. There is nothing we can do to force them for the decision and discovery belongs to the individual alone.

On second thought, there is one thing you can do. You can be a loving and wise person to the degree that the student off the path will want to join you on the path and be one with you because of the radiation he feels from you. He may feel that if he does not follow in your footsteps that you may progress along the path to a point where he cannot follow unless he joins you in the soul.

The positive effect given to the seeker through the outreach of love is more forceful than a thousand armies attempting to move him from one place to another.

Almost all the regular posters have either confronted me or disagreed with me on one occasion or the other. If I had gotten angry each time this has happened there would probably be zero members in this group today.

One thing I can promise you will happen in this group is this. There will be responders who will tell the blunt truth as they see it. There will be responses where the one poster thinks of another post as utter nonsense.

There will be posts where the writer will be nauseated at your favorite writer or guru.

There will be postings where the writer thinks the group is all against him.

There will be postings where the writer dissects another post line by line and refutes it using his best reasoning.

There will be postings where the writer is alarmed at my teachings and thinks I’m leading the group astray.

We must accept all of these differences. That which we should not accept however, is hot tempers and name calling. I would advise the group to ignore a person who seems to be displaying temper and move on. If there is any name-calling I think the group should come down on the guy and let him (or her) know in posts that such a thing is just not acceptable.

If a disturbing individual realizes that his actions are just not acceptable to the group he will either leave or conform. By conform I do not mean think as others do without questioning, but just behave himself in a civilized manner.

Question: What do you think of others who say they are channeling ascended masters or DK?

A lot of people out there claim to channel DK and other masters, but there are several reasons I do not believe any I have read so far.

First and foremost any student of the Bailey writings can tell that these channelings are not the same person or quality of intelligence speaking.

Secondly DK indicated clearly that he wasn’t going to give more teachings to the world until 2025.

Thirdly he has made it clear through Alice A. Bailey he does not speak through regular channeling methods.

I have not seen writings lately that claim to have been given through a Master that were of high enough quality to even be a high disciple speaking.

Question: “So am I reading you correctly here JJ that the life of the teacher is not relevant in comparison to the teachings? It is one thing to put the teacher on a pedestal and worship him, quite another is it not to see the results of his teachings demonstrated in his own life, validating those teachings and setting an example as Christ certainly did?

JJ: I don’t see anyone here worshipping any physical teacher, especially me. Some come close to worshipping channeled spirits.

Where do you get the idea that I would “think the life of the teacher is not relevant in comparison to the teachings?”

Every teacher should attempt to live up to the highest he knows just like the rest of us.

Question: “How come Stalin was not considered an anti-Christ as was Hitler… did he not commit as many if not more atrocities than Hitler, that the world is not even still completely aware of??”

JJ: Stalin was actually more ruthless than Hitler was in many ways. Many of the people he put to death were his own supporters and countrymen.

The difference between Hitler and Stalin was that Hitler was much more intelligent than Stalin and had a plan that could enslave humanity for a thousand years. Stalin had no workable plan. His only interest was glorifying himself.

By the way, I examined Susan’s handwriting for evidence of being a walk-in. The problem is that there is quite a few years between the two samples. I would have to see handwriting a short time before and a short time after a suspected walk-in to speak with reasonable surety.

As it is, even though there are quite a few years between the two samples and they look quite different to the layman about 75% of the characteristics are the same and with the time difference they could have easily been written by he same person – so I can not cite this as evidence of a walk in.

The Sign of Initiation

The Sign of Initiation

I’m sure there are others besides Brian that are disappointed that I left out their favorite authors or works.

Besides the four endeavors that I mentioned there have been many other religions and movements that have been either supported or inspired by the Brotherhood. Christian Science, Science of the Mind and the Unity Church have had numerous disciples in touch with the higher lives.

As to which teacher is the greater? The main clue to look for is the magnitude of that which they initiated.

This reminds me of a story about Columbus.

After discovering the New World a dinner was held in his honor. Afterwards they were talking and one of the guests stated something like this:

“Columbus, what you did was really no big deal. Since you have sailed to the new world many others have done the same thing. What makes you think you have done anything great since others are now doing the same thing you did.”

To this challenge Columbus took an egg off his plate and handed it to the heckler and said:

“Take this egg my friend and see if you can make it stand on its end.”

The man looked at the egg and said: “It’s impossible.”

But Columbus urged him on: “You’re wrong. It is possible. Go ahead and try.”

The man tried several times and each time the egg rolled over on its side.

After he failed several others tried it with the same results. Finally, the frustrated audience handed the egg back to Columbus and said: “We do not think that such a feat is possible, but if you really believe that it can be done please show us how.”

Columbus then took the egg back and smashed it on its bottom end on the table. The bottom of the egg was crushed into flatness and the group stared at the egg doing the impossible – standing on its end.

Then Columbus taught them an important lesson. “Now I’ve shown you how to do it, the easiest thing in the world is to follow.”

He was right. A minute before no one could make an egg stand on its end. A minute afterwards everyone could.

I might add that when a better way is initiated the dumbest thing to do is not follow.

But the true glory of accomplishment is in initiation, not imitation and the greatness of the initiate is judged to a great degree by the effect of that which he or she has initiated has had upon the world.

Now there are many initiates outside of spiritual movements. There are initiates in science, politics, education, business and other areas, but for this discussion we shall stick with spiritual matters.

Also keep in mind that there are initiates on both the right and left hand path. Hitler, for example was a left hand initiate and Churchill, his counterpart, was an initiate on the right hand path.

That which the Brothers on the left initiate, however, will only have a temporary existence whereas the effect of the Brothers of Light has a rippling effect with no end in sight.

Now taking this into consideration it is obvious that Moses, Christ, Buddha and Mohammed were four of greatest initiates on the right. They have influenced billions and the effect of that which they initiated still has a powerful and growing influence on mankind.

One may argue that many of their followers are close to insane and much bloodshed has resulted because of their adherents.

This is true, but one must always look at the overall picture. Even the greatest teachers must deal with humans in their weakness. To discover the power of the initiation one must look at the overall numbers of people who have been touched by their work and objectively examine the overall effects.

Let us look at Christ, for example. We already mentioned the difference in the way the world looks at love now in comparison to humanity before He came.

Many people cite the Crusades as a great evil of Christianity, as if Christ was somehow responsible for those wars. What they do not realize is that as the time of the Crusades approached the Powers That Be were looking for a good excuse to go to war. There were great numbers of unemployed and almost starving people who were happy to join most any army just to keep them from a slow death. The situation made war inevitable and the crusade to retake Jerusalem was picked because that was the highest motivating factor that could be instilled in the minds of the masses.

Now if Christianity never existed there would have still been great wars during this period; it’s just that another idealistic objective would have been chosen. Then too without the influence of the teachings of Christ the wars of that period would have been fought with even less civility. Many of the leaders in those Crusades were men of great honor considering the circumstances. Many believed so greatly in the cause that they lost or gave up their entire fortunes and died in prison or poverty for what they thought was the sake of Christ.

In reality many of those ancient crusaders learned lessons of idealism that they will carry with them to a higher level in lives to come.

Looking at it from the level of initiation then, the four innovators mentioned earlier (Joseph Smith, Bahaullah, HPB, and AAB) were indeed powerful initiates.

The Mormon Church has 8 or 9 million adherents plus teachers like Annalee Skarin, Stephen Covey and others who were heavily influenced by him continue to extend his initiation.

The work of Bab and Bahaullah is plowing through the awkward world in the East, still facing difficult persecutions there. It has also made inroads in the West.

The Bahais now have about 6 million members world wide and by the time they are as old as the Mormons they will probably reach the same nine million.

These are two powerful forces of initiation for such recent religions. Who is to say what their influence will be 100 years from now?

The writings of Blavatsky have a stronger influence than appears on the surface. It is true that she initiated Theosophy, but you can’t judge her influence by the numbers in this organization. Many great teachers were tutored by her writings including Annie Besant, Rudolf Steiner, Leadbeater, Ouspensky, Alice A. Bailey and even Cowley and many others were effected by her writings to a degree. Almost every group or movement that has broken off from standard theology and has promoted greater freedom of thought in the last century owes her a debt.

The next initiate Alice A. Bailey appears on the surface to have the least influence of the four, but one has to realize that her writings have also had the least time to permeate society.

I would rate her writings as higher than Blavatsky, the highest and purest ever given out to mankind, the actual words of a Master given directly to a disciple. The Master dictating the actual words was Djwhal Khul. Another thing that makes the writings given to AAB so great is that many principles are elaborated.

One of the problems with her writings, as others have pointed out, is that they are very technical. A Master directly teaching humanity, yet not living with us is a little like a human trying to teach a beaver how to build something better than a beaver dam. The communication would be awkward.

Djwhal Khul (or DK) has admitted that many will not comprehend his writings and often says that they are really intended for a few disciples who will comprehend them and eventually teach them to humanity in a way that they can understand. In addition to teaching quite a bit of original material part of my mission is to clarify many of the principles DK has hinted at or explained in a way that passed over students heads.

We are now quickly approaching a time that more spiritual teachers are influenced by Alice A. Bailey’s writings than that of Blavatsky. I have been heavily influenced by her writings and anything I initiate will owe her at least some debt. Even when new teachings and revelation are given out, the old is not discarded, but the proven good is retained and new stepping stones on the path are placed.

Joseph Smith did not throw out the Bible when he added the Book of Mormon. Alice A. Bailey did not throw out Blavatsky when she published her books. The new revelations add to the old and change the perspective of the past works, but they are not tossed aside.

Since Bailey there have been hundreds of deluded souls claiming to channel the Masters, but only a handful of teachers have been working through the Oneness Principle. I do not intend to sort them out for group members. That is to be between you and your own souls. But I will say this. That those who have arrived at the Oneness Principle will have an amazingly similar appreciation for the same groups of writings. Those outside of the Oneness Principle will either like every teacher that comes along or cling to one or two as the greatest and reject the rest.

Protection

Question: In the past the good guys have always suffered setbacks because of attacks and persecution. Will this always be the case?

Good question.

The prime reason for the Song of the 144,000 is to protect the Lights from the destructive forces of the “Beast.”

The disciples of the earth have rarely in the past 2000 years been able to complete their missions because of persecutions internally and externally. This is the first time in since the last Adam that we have an opportunity to consummate our missions. That is not to say there will not be difficulties, but if we truly focus our minds on the words and meaning of the Song as well as saying the Song we shall have the protection we need to truly bring “peace on Earth, Goodwill to mankind,” in this age.

Think about it and feel the inner rejoicing.

Walk-Ins and More

Walk-Ins and More

I think I struck a nerve by posting some information I found on Annalee Skarin from the web that put her in a negative light. I also gave a web address of the believer that you mentioned. That puts her in a positive light.

I think it is important that we look at both sides of any claim and make our only religion the truth wherever that leads us.

Some seem to see the quote I posted as if it has my full endorsement. I may also quote the New York Times, but I am always open to the possibility that something in that paper or any other source may not be true.

A reader says something that interests me about Annalee. He says that she never claimed to be translated, but her followers do.

Why would you believe something of her then that she never even claimed for herself?

Do you believe her death certificate was faked? If you believe that she was indeed translated or resurrected why do you believe this?

I have given pros and cons on a number of books and have gotten some lively discussion because of it. I believe we should always be open to the possibility that our favorite sources may not be quite as perfect as we at first thought.

I do know this, that even if some of my favorite books such as those by Lobsang Rampa and Baird Spaulding were deceptions to a degree, that does not take away from the truth that I gleaned from them. Even if Rampa was a fake, he still taught me how to see auras. This does not justify the deception but it does verify that when truth and error are passed by the soul the soul can reveal the truth to the seeker.

If Annalee was translated that is fine by me, but I do not see much evidence pointing to it. Whether she was translated or not she did leave behind some very helpful writings and that is the main thing of importance.

As far as walk-ins go the questions is how could a person be a walk-in and not know this to be the case?

The answer is quite simple. It is the same reason we are born here on the earth not knowing who we are even though we all existed before birth. When we incarnate as babies we start with a clean slate and virtually know nothing in the beginning. All we have is our developed intelligence we brought with us.

When a person walks in a body vacated by another all he has for memory is the computer brain of the body he is now using. He is also wired for the similar personality and habits as the entity who departed..

After the walk-in the new entity will realize that a change in some of his thinking and attitudes has occurred but he will chalk it up to the idea that he just made a change in his life just as many other people before him have. As time goes on the new entity will feel a little like a stranger in a strange land and grow out of the old person programmed into the brain and into who he really is with a sense of the mission he came to fulfill.

No, I’m not a walk-in if anyone wants to know.

Does the walk-in principle violate free agency?

Would it violate one’s free agency to give your car away to another person when you believe he can put it to better use than yourself?

Of course not. Your car is not you and it would violate your free agency to be forbidden to give your car away if you desired to.

Even so, our bodies are not who we are. Instead they are vehicles that we use. A person giving his body to another for a higher use can be a great act of free will.

The Dark Brothers copy the brothers of Light with the difference that free will is not respected. The Dark Ones and low-grade entities are willing to possess another’s body against their will. This corresponds to the car thief who would steal your car, a much different thing than the situation where one gives his car as a gift.

The person who gives up his body is not usually so low that he is suicidal, but may be in a situation where his life seems to be at a dead end and has ceased making any progress. In this case, he may be approached on subtle levels by an evolved entity with some similar but higher qualities and asked if he wants to trade positions, for this particular disciple sees an opportunity to accomplish a great good in the situation that seems frustrating to the other soul.

One of the main advantages of the walk-in is that it saves a disciple 20 years of childhood and maturing. He enters with a complete grasp of the language and with a reasonable education ready to begin his mission.

Some have expressed doubts that we switch sexes periodically.

In the worlds of form there is male and female, but our essence, our intelligence that makes decisions is neither male nor female. This is hinted at in the scriptures:

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ.” Gal 3:28

There is no way for us to know all things and understand all things without the experience of both sexes.

I have taken many people back into past lives and the person was often a different sex in the past. Hundreds of others who have done regression have had the same experience.

Probably the main reason for doubt here especially among the Mormons is how this fits in with the concept of eternal marriage. Others who believe in the Twin Flame or Twin Soul idea may have the same question. I will be talking more about this as time permits.

Annalee and Infallibility

Annalee and Infallibility

Apparently I offended some readers by posting some negative details on Annalee Skarin. I do believe that we should examine the pros and cons of all claims in the light of day. The easiest way to be deceived is just to believe and never question just as the rank and file in the Mormon and other churches do.

There is an article on a website mentioned. A positive write up on her is at this LINK

He ends his article with this statement:

“Whatever be the truth of the personal story of Annalee Skarin, there is no doubt of the power of her writings. Her books shall continue to inspire many to set out upon the pathway to the stars – the pathway of physical immortality. She is one of the pioneers of spiritual evolution on earth. The pathway has been widened by her efforts.” Robert Coon

I agree with this. I know Annalee’s writings have inspired many people to break from religious dogma and seek the spiritual path. For this her efforts are to be praised.

On the other hand, the cold hard facts seem to reveal that she lived and died a fairly normal life and must also be examined.

Question:

“Do you feel a death certificate proves someone has not translated, or, that they have simply died? My view is that if a death certificate, or overwhelming evidence of some kind that someone has died, invalidates their having translated, then the

transfiguration/translation of Jesus must present quite an enigma.”

Here are facts that seem to be beyond dispute:

She died of heart disease at the age of 88 after spending two years in a nursing home in a wheelchair. This was definitely old age but nothing out of the ordinary for disease and dying at that age.

A Translated being either lives on indefinitely or will live at least two normal lifetimes, generally in excellent health.

She may have had some great spiritual experiences in her life, but I see no evidence that any claim of translation is true – unless others out there have a far different definition of it than I do.

If you think she was translated, my questions is how was she any more translated than was Mother Teresa or my Dad who died a while back?

I don’t think Jesus is a comparable example since he rose from the grave and Annalee did not. No one has reported seeing her in the flesh since her death. Death had no hold on him.

A reader writes:

“Now for my concern and my question. While I find a great deal of wonderful new insights in what you write, I also believe that you yourself are still learning and do not have a perfect paradigm of truth. I think if I were to sit down eyeball to eyeball with you — and even now as I write this via e-mail — that you would agree with me on that point. J.J. does not have everything figured out.”

JJ: I agree. There are many things I do not know. On the other hand, the Master has promised: “Ask and it shall be given, knock and it shall be open.”

I have found these words to be true. Time and time again in my life that which I have asked to know has been given me. Sometimes it has not come instantly, sometimes I have had to ask and pursue over a long period of time, but always the answer comes. My most important questions have been answered and there are a few that remain and I feel they also will be given when the time is right. After that I’m sure there will be more questions.

I have always stressed that the most important principle I teach is soul contact – that all of us have the Spirit of God within us that communes with us through the soul and that all of us have equal opportunity to discover the truth through the soul.

Asking and receiving goes hand in hand with soul contact for without this an answer cannot be recognized even if it is presented with great clarity.

If you ask God for an answer you may receive directly through the soul – or you may receive from some teacher – or even some synchronous fluke that jars the answer within. In any case, it is only through one’s own soul that real truth can be recognized.

I am in the same boat as all the rest of you. If I want to know something I have to ask and receive, which thing I do on a regular basis.

If I did not receive I would have nothing new to give you that would register with your souls.

Reader: I get the feeling that J.J. is not willing to admit when he is in error on something and reshape his paradigm accordingly. My experience so far in this group and in my private correspondence (very little relevant to this point), is that J.J. has never once admitted or acknowledged that his paradigm was even a tad inaccurate.

JJ: If you read the first 100 or so posts to this groups you will see that I went out of my way to start everyone out on the right foot as far as teachers and authority go for it has never been my intention of presenting myself as infallible. I stressed with all that is in my being that the only authority you can trust is your own soul and if you do not receive confirmation in your heart, mind and soul, if in any way a teaching does not register, that you are not to blindly trust it. Then I stressed regularly that this includes me as much or more than anyone.

My paradigm is reshaped regularly, but I do not share with the group all that goes on internally within my makeup. For one thing, I would probably start boring everyone to death. Instead, I share that which I have received that I deem to be true and helpful with the hope it will assist some on their path.

Whenever I discover that I am wrong (unless it is very inconsequential piece of data) I try and correct myself and am happy to do so publicly.

As far as my whole paradigm goes I am sure there are flaws in it, but I am attempting to follow the highest I know. I will never teach the group anything I know to be untrue. It would be difficult for me to acknowledge the flaws in my paradigm for these are things I cannot see in the present. As soon as I see error I attempt to remove it and then the errors that remain are still things I cannot see and cannot tell you about.

One thing that does concern me is that perhaps a hundred years from now there will be some great teacher instructing his students and he may say something like this:

“Now I am going to read a quote from J J Dewey that is a completely bungled mass of error. Let us see if the class can spot them.”

That said, I will mention that this perception that the teacher is presenting himself as beyond error is an easy thing for students to assume. Every true teacher teaches the highest he knows and in so doing must discover knowledge higher than the highest he knows if he is to acknowledge error. Even though this may happen often on a personal basis few of the great teachers in the past have felt the need to proclaim error in their teachings.

Let us look at the greatest of teachers. Jesus of course, never once said any of his teachings were in error. How about Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah or the twelve apostles, or Paul? Nope. No admission there. How About the Buddha, Zoriaster, Confucius, Mohammed, Joseph Smith, Alice A. Bailey – None there as far as I can remember.

The truth is most spiritual teachers give out the highest revelation that registers with their souls and seldom does the time come that their students correct them, especially as far as principles are concerned. Any correction comes from within and since the teachers have already taught the highest they can perceive from within, a higher knowledge through the soul is usually reserved for a future life when consciousness has expanded.

Reader: But I would bet you anything that J.J. is changing his paradigm from time to time as a result of things people here in this group say as well as from what ever other studying he is doing.

JJ: You would win this bet.

Reader: In other words, the image that is subtly being portrayed here has some points in common with the relationship that the Mormon church currently has with its prophet. He’s the man, and everyone should listen to what he says, and no one should be so presumptuous as to think that they could teach the prophet something new.

JJ: This I strongly disagree with. In the Mormon and some other churches, if you know more than the big guy or even “think” you know something he does not know you will be thrown out. In this group members disagree with me on a regular basis and they are not asked to leave. Many send me information and make postings that I learn a lot from. Just the other day a member sent me some information on the Course in Miracles that I found enlightening.

Now if someone attempts to teach me something that does not register with my soul, I of course, will not accept it. I have the same rights as members of the group do, for I admonish all to not accept what I say unless it registers likewise within for you.

The reader expressed his view that I did not seem to be teachable by others.

There are a handful of people in this group who feel I am not teachable because I have not accepted their views, but they forget that if I am honest with myself I must not accept their views if they do not register with my soul. I do not use an affirmative action program to determine how much I will accept the teachings of others. I use the same principle that I teach others. If someone presents a teaching then I run it by my soul, and if positive I accept, if not I reject.

On the other hand, I believe the majority of the group see me as quite open and flexible in my approach, especially those who have caught a glimpse of the Oneness Principle.

I am not here to show the group how much I have to learn (even though I have much to learn). Instead, I am here to impart that which I have been given and this I hope to continue to the best of my ability.

Part of my mission is to duplicate myself so others will start groups and groups like this one and even “greater things.”

A member has broken off and is now doing with his group what I am doing here, but with a different twist – maybe a better one. He is up to 5000 hits a week, far more than we have here. Do I feel humiliated that he is doing well? No, because we are one in purpose and are both going the same direction with the same goals.

Glenys has started a study group in her area and has the great privilege of teaching face to face, a thing I am unable to do at present.

Others that I have not mentioned are making plans to teach and serve.

Dozens of you make postings that stir me greatly and I can see that if you should decide to do so you can go forth and teach and stir the souls of men just as I have been privilege to do in a very small degree. I also sense that many of you feel a need for preparation and want to learn all you can for now to prepare for things to come. Each of you are here because of something that spoke to you from within and this is what I encourage you to follow no mater where it leads.

Reader: “So yes, you may be the “teacher” of this group, but I would submit that you are not the only one with sufficient stature and background and spiritual maturity to be able to hold that position.”

JJ: Being a teacher as I am in this group is not a position like those you mention in the church. In the church when a position is filled then it is just full. No one else can have it until there is a vacancy. Even then one cannot volunteer, but must wait to be appointed by an authority.

On the other hand, my “position” is open to all. Others have already assumed my position and are now doing what I am doing to their heart’s content.

Paul gives the principle to be followed by spiritual teachers:

“Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation.” Rom 15:20

In other words, Paul was saying that he did not seek to build a church and set himself up as a teacher where the teachings of Christ were already established by another teacher or he would be unproductively building “upon another man’s foundation.”

Even so, I do not plan on jumping in to another forum and telling everyone that it is time for the leader to move aside because I am now here.

Such is the case here. This group is a forum put together by Rick dedicated to my teachings. The foundation thus was created by Rick and me working together and if another man were to build on this foundation it would probably be out of sync. If a teacher wants to be in sync with his students and his soul he must initiate on a foundation that registers within himself and then gather around himself like-minded souls.

Reader: “J.J. you need to be able to learn from your students and admit when you are wrong at times, for you are wrong in some points of your paradigm. You don’t have the whole elephant figured out yet. You need the input of the trunk specialist and the tail specialist and the gonad specialist to be able to more fully piece this puzzle together.”

JJ: My very first post in the archives was on the student teacher relationship. Anyone interested in my views on the subject can go there and read this. I greatly value each person in this group as a part of the whole. I sincerely hope that members see this aspect in me.

Reader: To an extent, are you not doing the same thing as you accused Annalee? Are you not using an illusion (true or not, it is an Illusion because it is purposely not clarified) to create an awe factor around which you can gain significantly more clout as someone who should be listened to? It seems to me that you have monopolized on this mystery, milking it for all it is worth.

JJ: The data I had indicated that Annalee was promoting something that was not true as being true. If this was correct then this was indeed a lie.

For the sake of discussion let us just say that Annalee claimed to be translated when she was not. This is not comparable to my writing a book which I present clearly as a combination of truth and fiction.

Instead, it would be comparable to me teaching a falsehood to this group as being true and knowing that such a thing is not true. It would be comparable to me saying that John is living with us in our spare bedroom and telling me what to write each evening, when he is not.

I do believe that this may be the first book written and published as fictionized that is so believable that some of the readers actually complain that I did something wrong in making it sound too true. Where is there another book published as fiction where the author is accused of promoting a lie?

I have said many times that the book is a combination of truth and fiction as far as the story goes. Thus I could only be lying if it was 100% true or 100% false. If it is really a combination of fact and fiction then I am telling the truth.

I have indeed created a mystery, but creating a mystery through a work of fiction is no more sin than the Blair Witch Project is.

The scriptures declare:

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2

I do conceal some things, but if it is indeed the glory of God to do such a thing then I am in good company. It is the honour of kings (and the Keysters) to search out the matter. There are more clues in the book than you realize.

In the past some disciples have failed in their missions because they bored their students into oblivion. Thus the value of a work of fiction that creates a mystery, for everyone is attracted to a good mystery.

Whether you think I am right or wrong in the way the book is written and promoted (with part of the true facts concealed) we must admit that this group and this gathering we have here would not even exist without The Immortal.

Let me add this. If I did not make it clear that this is a fictionalized book the sales would be much greater than they are. If I were a true deceiver I could have much more gain by promoting it as non-fiction. When the bookstores ask me the category of the book and I say fiction they will often refuse to carry it and instead stock their shelves with many other books that claim to be non-fiction but are fiction. The booksellers tell me that there is a big surplus of New Age fiction books and most of them sell very poorly. All I would have to do is change the category of my book and signing up booksellers would be much easier.

Reader: “And to the extent that you are not openly admitting that you are ever wrong or that you have altered your paradigm because of what someone has said, to me is a very, very dangerous path to be on. I call upon you to humble yourself as our teacher and come down off of this manipulative throne you have created.”

JJ: Sounds good. I desire no throne and you are welcome to the same table that I eat from. You can choose your seat and I will happily serve you before I dine myself.

Reader: However, the point I wish to make is that by his leaving this such a mystery, the Annalee effect comes into play and deception pokes in its ugly head. One lie gives rise to another. What is true? What is not? He’s not admitting he’s wrong even when he is. Truth cannot thrive in such an environment.

JJ: A work presented as fiction that creates a mystery is not a lie.

Moses took a walk one day and was never seen again. His body was never found and many of his followers believed he was translated as was Enoch. Let us assume, as the scriptures indicate, that he was translated. Was Moses being a deceptive liar by not explaining to the Israelites what really happened? Just before or after the translation he could have ended the whole mystery by revealing the whole story, but he did not. He emulated the glory of God and concealed some of the facts while at the same time all that he presented as truth was true to he best of his knowledge.

My teachings to the fine people in this group are not presented as fiction but truth from the highest vision I can ascertain. Never once have I taken anything from the book that is part of the mystery and presented it as true or used it as a lever to obtain authority. We are entering an age where the final authority within ourselves must finally be exalted upon the throne of truth and I will declare that in all my teachings to you, there is only the truth as I understand it.

By the way, my wife read through this post and insisted I was wrong on several things and made me do some rewriting. I certainly have not convinced her of my infallibility.

Living in the Present

Living in the Present

As I looked through my e-mails and Keys postings, I find it interesting that the first e-mail I read was from a lurker who tells me he is Joseph Smith come again and that I am called to repentance. Then the next post I open from the group I find a new member is telling us he is Robert Browning come again.

A while back the group interrogated me a bit as to who I may have been in the past and I refused to give any information. One of the reason we lose our memories is so we can begin anew and make a new start in a totally new situation. Often times if we were to regain memories of the past it would interfere with what we are supposed to do in the present. The tendency would be to repeat the past rather than pave new ground in going where you have never gone before.

Now I say this to teach a principle and not as a criticism of the Robert Browning character or even the half dozen Joseph Smith’s come again I have met in my life – along with a few Messiahs.

One of the marks of a true teacher on the Path is that he will not proclaim high initiate status that will give him any authority over his students that was not earned in this life. The same with past lives or special callings. If the teacher proclaims he was some great being like Jesus or Buddha and the student believes this then it gives the teacher an authority over the student that was not earned in this life and the student will often be discouraged from running the teachers words by his own soul.

A sure sign that a teacher is captivated by glamour and some illusion is a proclamation that he is the new messiah or some great being from the past come again.

Notice that Jesus was silent with the masses about who he was. They thought he may have been Jeremiah, Elijah or one of the prophets, but he never confirmed their suspicions. They also thought he may be the Messiah, but again he said nothing. Instead he let his works and his words testify for him.

There were only two possible acknowledgements of who he was. After Peter received a revelation on the matter Jesus told him he had received it from the Father.

At his trial he was asked who he was:

“But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said…” Matt 26:63-64

Even at this point he did not admit for sure who he was. He was virtually saying “you’re saying it, not me.”

The fledgling avatar may object and say: “But I was Moses in a past life and I have a great message. Everybody just thinks I am Fred Snodgrass in this life and they will not listen to me. But if I can convince them I am Moses they will listen and then I can do a great work.”

Answer: Anyone who listens to you because they think you are Moses will only filter teachings through the emotional (astral) self. Only by teaching as who you are NOW can you reach the souls of men. So it has been with the true spiritual teachers in the past, so it is now, and so it will be. It will always be the eternal present and it is there that we must live.

Now our friend may have been Robert Browning. I am sure it matters to him but it does not matter to me. What does matter to me from what he has posted is that he is very strongly attached to his past love who he deems as a soul mate.

The first liberating teaching I can give here is that there is no such thing as a soul mate of destiny or the twin flame idea. In the beginning we were all created as reflections or in the image of God and each of us has the fullness of God within us waiting to unfold. Another thing we all fluctuate in cycles between male and female bodies so you will have lifetimes where the love of your life may be of either sex.

Eventually we merge with all other souls through the principle of Identification – that is we learn to identify with the one universal God. The closest thing there is to a soul mate is the first person that you merge with in the identification process with the one God. This makes the two become one. This soul mate can be anyone you choose to work with in the marriage relationship. If one person does not work then you can choose another.

My advice to the reader is this. Since the person you chose is not presently choosing you back then let her go, find another and move on. An opportunity may come to renew the relationship in the future, but putting additional emotional investment in it now will only delay that opportunity. Instead, you must create a vacuum through the principle of detachment. Then if she through her free will fills the vacuum at some future date you can turn your attention back on her. If she does not then you must move on with no feeling of regret.

Only by detaching yourself (with no denial) can the magnetic force be created to bring fresh opportunity. The detachment must be so complete that if nothing ever happens that is all right also.

This takes an act of the will and is difficult, but the rewards are great. I speak here from experience.

Also I do not know if I ever welcomed Susan to the group. I notice that she has been making some very good posts. Keep it up, even if I do not always have time to comment.

Question: I find the idea of the Molecular Relationship fascinating. Has anyone tried putting one together?

This group is the first online gathering place for candidates for the Molecular Relationship. Finding twenty-four people who can achieve oneness through soul contact is a Herculean task, but it will be done. The friction, even among good people in this group foreshadows the difficulty. After the first molecule becomes linked and functioning and seekers see that a new life form is created then the molecules afterwards will come much quicker.

The time for the first molecule is not yet. Some will begin to receive inner stirrings about it when the time approaches.

Question:

“JJ mentioned that the past model has been largely authoritarian with few exceptions. I am wondering why it has been so difficult for this to catch on? Is it because of our current evolvement? And from what I gather from what you have said this is changing or about to change drastically is that true in your opinion?”

Part of the reason is caused by the energies we are currently passing out of. For over two thousand years we have been ruled by the sign of Pisces. This is why the early Christians used the sign of the fish since the fish is the symbol of Pisces. Current Christians with a fish on their car do not realize they are displaying an astrological sign.

Also notice in over 95% of the cases the fish the Christian displays points to the left. The left is a symbol of the past and indicates that the contemporary Christian has his mindset in the past instead of the present or future.

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and as such this is a period where all unfinished business is taken care of so a new beginning can be made. Everything that did not prove to be of eternal value in the past eleven ages comes to a climax in Pisces and those under its influence learn the great lesson of letting go. That is they learn what they must release themselves from so they can make a new beginning.

The most important thing the human race is learning to let go of is unjust and unearned authority. Through our painful experiences of the past 2000+ years with Caesars, Napoleons, Conquistadors, Inquisitors, Hitlers, Popes, false prophets and kings we are finally beginning to “question authority.” This questioning reached a turning point in the Sixties and is now proceeding on a more gentle level that will be accelerated from time to time.

Seekers must learn the difference between earned and unearned authority, between the just and the unjust.

Just because a person is a Ph.D., a Priest, or proclaimed by the press to be right does not mean that he is not to be questioned. And just because another has no degree and no title does not mean that he has not carefully thought things through and is very accurate. Humanity is at its infancy in achieving soul contact. Most people are controlled by their astral body and thus by authority.

The messages from the Spirit must come from the mind and circulate through the heart. The mind must be open to contact. We are approaching an age that for the first time there is sufficient numbers of people with both hearts and minds evolved enough to become one through the soul and to be free from unjustified authority.
