Walls and Borders, Part 5

Inclusion and Limits

Ideals are fine and most are eventually achieved. Flaws in human thinking lie not with seeking the ideal, but how to get there.

For instance, equality is a nice ideal, but to get there by forcing everyone toward sameness has proven disastrous.

Even so, completely open borders is a benevolent ideal, but to be too open too soon could destroy a country if its resources are overwhelmed.

There are over seven and a half billion people on the earth and, most likely, over five billion of them would move to the United States if they could. Just one billion of them coming here would turn the country into such a wasteland where citizens would be fleeing to Mexico for relief.

It is only common sense that when there are many more who want to enter than leave that the border needs to be controlled by sensible laws and enforcement while assisting other countries in obtaining greater equality.

Indeed it is a virtue to be inclusive if applied with common sense, but like all virtues, if taken to the extreme, it becomes negative rather than positive not only with countries but clear down to the individual household.

Let us use the Law of Correspondences and relate open borders to a family home. For U.S. citizens the United States is our larger home, but in the microcosm the property we live in is our home also.

You may have a relative or friend call now and then asking if they can crash a few days. It may be an inconvenience but you accept them and figure you are being inclusive.

Now suppose an old acquaintance who you never considered a close friend shows up on your doorstep with a wife, six kids and three large dogs. Taking him in may indeed test your normally inclusive nature.

If one really wanted to be inclusive he could take in a few homeless people. The trouble is that even if one were willing he would be nervous about doing it since the homeless guy could be on drugs and dangerous.

But let us suppose that Billy Bob is one righteous dude and decides to open his home and resources to those in need. He invites three homeless people to stay with him. He is fortunate in that he chose three that were not dangerous, but he finds they do take much more advantage of his good nature than he planned. His favorite food and drink disappear very quickly.

Then a couple days later word spreads about his good nature and three more homeless show up on his doorstep with very sad stories. Billy Bob reluctantly lets them in, thinking it is good to be inclusive.

Several days later, after having his house trashed, three more show up. He is determined to be inclusive and again lets them in. Then it becomes a daily occurrence for more to show up until his house is overflowing with all kinds of strange individuals who were more concerned with getting than giving. Finally, after sustaining more grief and expense than he could handle he throws his arms up and orders all of then to leave. Several become angry and threaten him and say they are staying no matter what. Billy Bob is beside himself and decides the only thing he can do is move out and let the bunch fend for themselves.

He gets a room at the Motel 6 and waits. Within a month the home has suffered so much destruction and abuse that it was not even fit for the homeless to live in. The bunch then leaves the house and moves into a shelter that at least has running water and some food.

Was Billy Bob inclusive?

He seemed to be.

Should our nation take the Billy Bob approach to our borders?

Obviously if we do not operate with some limitations too many people in need entering the country could wind up creating much damage as happened to Billy Bob.

Did Billy Bob practice the principle of inclusion, and does our country if it uses no judgment as to who may enter?

No.

So are some true believers being extreme and advocating the Billy Bob approach to inclusiveness and open borders?

Indeed they are.

Part of the reason for this is that various teachers have rightfully taught of a time in the future where we will have open borders, throughout the world. Unfortunately, believers see such teachings in terms of black and white that need to be applied right now with no judgment involved.

In our story Billy Bob had a problem because of the great inequality between him and those he tried to include. That created a situation where he needed to use common sense in applying his inclusiveness, else more harm than good would result. If he lived in a city where all had a place to live then his inclusiveness would not create such a problem.

Similarly, if we create a world where all have their needs met then open borders will make sense.

Walls and Borders, Part 4

Inclusion and Borders

Many spiritual students are not only against a wall but are against borders themselves as well as enforcement of current law. Instead, these often support sanctuary cities which shield numerous individuals with a criminal background.

Let us examine some of their positions and see if they are in harmony with the Ancient Wisdom.

Argument One: Borders and walls exclude people. If we are enlightened we will include everyone.

Most students will agree that we should be as inclusive possible but the question is, should inclusiveness apply more to opportunity than access to all?

For the answer let us use the Law of Correspondences. A nation is merely a large group with rules, and that which makes it work corresponds to smaller groups such as organizations, businesses, families and even ashrams.

You would think then that if we wanted to understand the correct application of inclusiveness that we would look to the masters to see how they handle inclusiveness.

When we examine the teachings we see that the ashrams of the masters are inclusive in that fact that no one is denied entrance because of race, sex, nationality, social status, economic situation, education, looks or many other factors.

Does this mean that they will let anyone in?

Absolutely not. The opportunity to qualify is open to all, but qualify they must. DK says this:

“…in an Ashram only that is to be found within the sphere of influence of an Ashram which is of the soul. Nothing of the personality is allowed to enter in—personality reactions, disabilities, limitations, personality thoughts and all that is material and connected with the lower nature, never reaches the Ashram at all. … An Ashram is basically formed of those who through their knowledge, devotion and service have worked their way out of a group into an inner centre where the Master’s energy, wisdom and effort is more easily available. In order to work their way from the group into the Ashram, disciples will need most carefully to discriminate between their high grade personality inclinations, their responses to truth and ideals and their true soul reactions, spiritual wisdom and intuitive perception.

Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 694-695

Not only are they careful who they will admit, but difficulties arise even when the applicant has done everything possible to qualify. DK tells us that when a new member comes in that, for a period of time, his added energy is very disruptive to the group. Much work is slowed or disrupted as the group goes through a period of adjustment. In addition to this the new member also has to adjust to the new and higher vibration. It would be destructive to allow in an applicant who has not done all to make himself ready, for it is problematic as it is to assimilate one who is qualified.

Most other groups follow the same process as does the Hierarchy. A business, for instance, doesn’t hire just anyone. They first take in applications, then do interviews and finally hire. Then comes the period of adjustment and assimilation. Fellow workers adjust to the new guy and the new guy adjusts to them.

Let us say the business needs ten new employees but only five apply. In this case, because of the need they have to seek out more. On the other hand, if 20 applied they have double the number they can assimilate wanting jobs, but to keep their business alive and well they need to reject the surplus ten.

The same principles that apply to small groups apply to large ones. Nations have certain cultures, structure and a quality of life they desire to maintain and are selective as to who they will let in and how many.

Mexico, for instance, has some pretty strict guideless on outsiders coming in the country. Immigration authorities must be assured that foreigners will be useful to the state well as have the necessary funds to take care of themselves.

Illegal immigration is a felony and anyone with false papers or entering the country with false pretenses could be imprisoned. Those who assist illegals are subject to prosecution.

Their constitution forbids non citizens from participating in politics or to participate in demonstrations or express opinions in public about domestic politics and there are no equal employment rights even for legal immigrants.

Overall, Mexico is much less inclusive toward foreign visitors and immigration than the United States.

The Pew research Center says that as of 2015, “the United Nations estimates that 46.6 million people living in the United States were not born there. This means that about one-in-five international migrants (19%) live in the U.S. The U.S. immigrant population is nearly four times that of the world’s next largest immigrant destination – Germany, with about 12 million immigrants.”

Overall the U. S. policies have been and continue to be generous toward immigrants and, like any other nation, group, or the Hierarchy itself, has the right to issue laws and qualifications and make sure they are followed so correct assimilation can be made.

It is true that the world is evolving toward a society of open borders, and that will be a good thing when the time comes that all nations have the resources and benevolence in government to take care of their own people. Unfortunately, we are not there yet and in current circumstances there is no condemnation in DK’s teachings of nations who protect their borders. We have the ideal set before us, but we must proceed one step at a time.

Here are some wise words from D K

“The Masters utilize the form to the uttermost; They seek to work through it, imprisoning the life in confining walls for just as long as the purpose is served and the race instructed through that form. Then the time comes that the form no longer serves the purpose intended, when the structure atrophies, crystallises and becomes easily destructible. Its destruction then becomes the matter of greatest concern and usefulness, and it goes, whilst a new form takes its place. Watch and see if this be not so. Always the building of the form, always its utilisation for as long as possible, always the destruction of the form when it hinders and cramps the expanding light, always then the rapid reconstruction of a new form. Such has been the method since the commencement of the aeon.”

Walls and  Borders, Part 3

The Ancient Wisdom and Walls

Some students of Ancient Wisdom may dismiss quotes from the Bible, as made in the last section, as old school but consider this. DK, through Alice A. Bailey often quoted the Bible. Also, the quotes used were either from Christ or the Book of Revelation. DK tells us that Christ is the head of the Hierarchy “the Master of the Masters and the Teacher of angels and of men.” Thus quoting him is quoting the highest possible authority that we have on the planet.

Secondly, we quoted from the Book of Revelations, which is stated as being from Christ through an angel to John. And who was that angel? DK tells us “the Book of Revelations which was dictated 1900 years ago by the disciple who is now known as the Master Hilarion, reference is made to the “city which stands four-square.”

Telepathy, Page 163

Speaking of Hilarion he says: “On the fifth Ray of Concrete Knowledge or Science, we find the Master Hilarion, who, in an earlier incarnation was Paul of Tarsus.”

Initiation Human and Solar, Pg 59

That explains this scripture:

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Rev 19:10

So we have Hilarion (Paul) appearing to John giving him the Apocalypse telling him that he is one of his brethren. Paul, a fellow worker with John, had just been martyred a couple years earlier, and now he manifests under the direction of Christ to give John his great revelation.

Concerning this DK says: “In the New Testament, John, the beloved disciple, was privileged to gain a cosmic picture and a true prophetic vision which he embodied in the Apocalypse, but he is the only one who so achieved and he achieved because he loved so deeply, so wisely and so inclusively.”

Glamour: a World Problem, Page 137

We therefore, have the authority of Christ and the Master Hilarion behind the book making it worthy of our attention.

It is true that there is a lot of symbolism in the book but the symbols have true meaning that will register with the soul.

Thus, the wall around the city of New Jerusalem represents a barrier of separation whether it be a symbol or a physical manifestation.

Most esoteric students realize that all barriers, even those imposed by Divine Power are of a temporary nature as are all forms. In the end, all lives will tread the path of return and forge through or transcend the barriers and return to their true home with God. They will be as the Prodigal Son who awoke and returned to the house of his father.

In the meantime, many forms are necessary for us to use, including walls. Every house has walls to protect us from the elements. In addition, most have fences for various reasons of separation. Some communities have walls around the whole area to provide the occupants with extra security.

During the early history of the United States many new outposts began as a forts surrounded by a wall of protection. Eventually, the need for such walls reached an end and is no longer required.

Thus a nation may legitimately build a wall to fill a need at one time, but when the need is no longer there then the walls can come down.

Many students dream of the ideal becoming a reality and want to speed it along. And what is that ideal as far as walls and barriers go?

The ideal is a world that needs no separation, no walls and no borders. The division in philosophy comes not in the ideal (on which most agree), but on how to get there and at what speed.

There are always some who want to take giant leaps without careful planning which often leads to disaster and others who just want to keep things as they are or move very slowly.

Concerning the idealists who want it all yesterday DK says this:

“The visionary dreamer or the well-intentioned but impractical person whose ideas and world plans and suggestions as to the new world order litter the desks of world leaders and of those groups and organisations who are attempting practically to blueprint the future. Their dreams and ideas deal with projects for which the world of today is not ready and will not be ready for several thousand years. It is an easy thing for them to present impossible Utopias which have not the faintest relation to things which are needed today and which could be made possible. The name of these people is legion, and at this time they constitute a definite hindrance. A vision of the impossible is not the type of vision which will keep the people from perishing. Because of an inability to compromise and to face up to things as they are, these people and those whom they influence are landed in despair and disillusionment.”

In light of this we should ask ourselves what would be the ideal as far as the southern border of the United States goes?

I think most would agree that our northern border with Canada is pretty close to the ideal. We have a fairly equivalent exchange, from both countries of individuals crossing the border to live or visit. Neither country is concerned about their resources being overtaxed by too much or illegal border crossing.

The reason for this balance is obvious, and it has nothing to do with race as is disingenuously presented as the reason by many. The reason is that both countries have a similar standard and quality of living.

On the other hand, the standard of living for numerous countries south of the border is much lower than the United States. Thus a move from Mexico or Guatemala to the U.S. seems like going from poverty to abundance, whereas a Canadian moving here doesn’t see much difference.

Our southern friends have many times the motive over Canadians to get to the United States by any means possible. This presents a major problem of assimilation as well as the enforcement of current law.

The idealists who want the one borderless world to happen right away want no walls and open borders now. This is a nice ideal, but are they in that group that “constitute a definite hindrance” as DK says?

I would say yes. Instead of blindly plunging forward the disciple must work with “things which are needed today and which could be made possible” and learn to “to compromise and to face up to things as they are,” as stated by DK.

Walls and Borders, Part 2

Jesus and Walls

It is indeed true that Jesus was an inclusive guy. Whereas others who claimed piety shunned prostitutes, drinkers, tax collectors and many common folk as sinners, Jesus went among them, assisting, healing and inviting them to listen to his message. Because Jesus is seen by many as being inclusive and loving some figure he would be against a wall that would be a deterrent for undesirable people to enter the country.

On the other hand, Jerusalem, where Jesus did much of his ministry, had a wall and the temple where he taught also had walls around it. Walls were quite common in his day and neither Jesus or any other writer in the scriptures spoke of them as being evil, or of a people being sinners for putting one up.

It is interesting that the prophets anticipated the manifestation of a New Jerusalem, a higher correspondence of the walled city of old Jerusalem. Concerning this city of God, it was written:

“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

“And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

“And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.”

Rev 21:9-18

This is to be quite a city. If we translate the measurements into modern units we see that the city is about 1500 miles square as well as 1500 miles in height. Then around the city is a wall that is 266 feet high and guarded by twelve angels.

And why would God and Christ want a giant wall around their city?

Obviously the city is to be a habitation for the good guys and once descended to the earth there will be a need to keep the bad guys out.

“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” Rev 21:27

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs (repulsive people), and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

Rev 22:14-16

It is pretty clear here that those who are approved, and in the book of life, can enter through the gates in the walls, but those who are not so registered will not be allowed entrance. The largest wall that is to ever appear on the earth is to insure that only those approved get through into the city.

It appears that those who claim that Jesus would be against a wall are barking up the wrong tree as he was the one who gave out this revelation through the angel telling of us of the city of God, which has a wall much larger than anything ever constructed on the planet.

And why would the city of God need to keep out the bad guys?

The answer is simple. To keep it a heavenly and desirable place to be there has to be controls as who gets in and who does not. Quality of life is determined by the company you keep and life is much better when you are surrounded by honest and loving people instead of thieves, backstabbers and harmful individuals.

Jesus talked about this separation during his ministry. He gave this parable:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

“So shall it be at the end of the world (age): the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just”

Matt 13:47-49

In Luke chapter 16 we have the account of the rich man who refused to help a poor beggar. After he died he was told, “between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.” Luke 16:26

So, according to Jesus there is even a wall, or barrier of separation in the afterlife.

Jesus was inclusive in that he offered his message to all who would listen and was kind and forgiving to all. That didn’t mean that he wanted to spend eternity with just anyone. Even during his earth life he gathered out twelve of the best people he could find with whom he spent most of his time. His inner circle was handpicked by himself.

Walls can be an advantageous tool of positive separation. They can supply a power to screen those who come through the gates so the destructive people are kept out and the constructive people are allowed in which keeps the area within the walls a place a peace, law and productivity.

Then when the time comes that those on both sides of the wall are equal in what they can contribute the walls can come down.

We are told that the New Jerusalem will have no need for a temple as did the old one. We would hope the time would come that it would also have no need of walls.

Walls and Borders, Part 1

The Controversy

I normally stay away from political topics when writing on spiritual topics but in this case the current topic of whether or not to build a wall and enforce immigration laws overlaps into spiritual thinking and teachings.

Let s begin by stating the controversy.

The political left, as a whole, want no additional physical walls between the borders and do not want to enforce current law. Instead, most desire amnesty followed by voting rights and citizenship to those who are not legally here. Some support a degree of border security, but minimal deportation. Many support sanctuary cities that make it difficult to deport or punish those who have committed crimes. They seem unconcerned about criminals or terrorists entering the country and oppose any additional screening for them.

Overall, the left seems to want to put up a big welcome sign to all who want to come here and ignore all rules or laws to the contrary and label anyone who does want a wall as being racist. They s ay a wall is immoral.

The political right has a very different and opposing view.

First, they see nothing immoral about a wall to secure legal immigration.

They want enforcement of current immigration law, but complain that this is impossible without a wall. They say a wall works in other countries, citing Israel as a prime example. They say it has nothing to do with race, that we would apply the same tactics to Canadians if they were entering our county by the millions and taxing our resources. They say that they are happy to invite immigrants of all races if they seek to legally enter the country.

They say that current immigration laws need to be enforced because we do not have the resources to handle an unlimited number of people. Instead we must determine a number that we can assimilate and make laws around that number and enforce those laws.

Another main argument made is that we need to carefully screen those who enter our country to make sure we do not take in criminals or terrorists.

These two views do indeed clash with each other and have created a division among the people unlike anything since the American Civil War.

You would think that students of the Ancient Wisdom and alternative spiritual thinking would be united on this issue but even among those, who see themselves as more enlightened than most, do not agree here.

The true seeker must ask with an open mind, “What is the truth of the matter here? Should we have open borders and no or minimal laws or closed borders and strict laws?”

This subject touches seekers on such an emotional level that it is difficult for many to even discuss it without heated sensations welling up inside distracting from using the mind and reason. Nevertheless, let us attempt to look at the subject through the clear cold light of reason and established teachings and see where it takes us.

Let us first take up the ideas as to whether a wall is right or wrong in various circumstances.

When we look at numerous walls in history we find they are made for two purposes.

(1) To keep people imprisoned. Or

(2) To keep undesirable people out.

The most famous example of #1 was the Berlin Wall that created a virtual prison for the people of East Germany during the days of the Soviet Union.

As we look back on this, it is obvious to most of the people of the world that this did not have a positive purpose and to keep a whole country locked behind them was evil, and not a good thing.

On the other hand, walls to keep dangerous prisoners away from the public is considered by all nations to be a good and necessary thing to do.

Now let us look at #2. Are walls to keep undesirable people out a good or bad thing?

There are those who claim that a wall on our border is evil just as was the Berlin wall. This is indeed a disingenuous comparison as a wall to imprison inhabitants is a much different animal than one to keep people out. That is like saying a fence around your house is the same as one around a prison. This idea is not logical enough to warrant discussion.

So, let us look at examples of walls of protection in history. Have they been deemed good or evil?

Jerusalem has had walls around it since the time of its creation by David. They have been destroyed a number of times, but always rebuilt.

In addition, Israel today has a wall on its borders. Enemies of Israel want the wall to come down, but friends maintain that Israel would not exist today if they had not created the present system of walls to protect their borders.

The most famous wall in history is that of China to protect its borders. This is seen as a monumental work, but no one condemns the Chinese for seeking to protect their country.

Over a thousand years ago, in 846 AD, Pope Leo IV created the Leonine Wall, completely surrounding the Vatican Hill which still exists today. The present pope is against walls for the United States but has no problem maintaining his own walls.

Throughout history there have been thousands of cities, castles and estates that have used walls to keep out undesirable people and today many of the rich have wall around their estates including some who are against the U.S. wall. President Obama, for instance has an eight foot high wall around his place.

Have any of these walls of protection been condemned as evil by historians or the people?

I cannot think of any, but as we read about them we generally see that the various groups were justified in determining who could enter their domain and who could not.

But what about the general morality of a wall? Shouldn’t we be inclusive rather than exclusive. Wouldn’t Jesus want open borders and allow all to enter his domain?

Next, let us next take a look at the scriptures accepted by the Christ to see what direction they take us. After that, we’ll examine the Bailey writings.

The Light Side

The Light Side

This quote from DK was presented which seems to give the idea that the Hierarchy wants disciples to be neutral:

“The members of the New Group of World Servers belong to no party or religion and yet belong to all parties and religions; they assume no attitude or position either for or against any existing government, religion or social order. They engage in no political activity of any kind, and attack no existing order.

They are neither for nor against a government or a Church, and spend no money, organise no campaign, and send out no literature which could be interpreted as attacking or defending any organisation of a political, religious, social or economic nature.”

Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 643

Here DK emphasizes that disciples should concentrate on the positive rather than the negative and being constructive rather than attacking. Overall, this is a good thought for students to embrace. Some thought that esoterists on the right went overboard in criticizing the Obama administration, but that was nothing compared to the barrage of attack and hate we see coming from the left directed toward Trump. We indeed need to step back, take a breath, and realize that neither side is all bad, new Hitlers or the antichrist.

On the other hand, like all individual quotes this one must be examined in the context of the whole and in the light of other statements made by DK in this direction.

Some may read that “the New Group of World Servers belong to no party or religion” and figure that anyone who is a member and involved in politics or religion is mislead and not associated with the enlightened. They overlook the next statement which says they “belong to all parties and religions.”

In other writings he has made clear that the NGOWS are found in every religion and political party

“Look for them in every nation and expressing many lines of thought and points of view. Remember always that in doctrine and dogma, and in techniques and methods, they may differ widely from you, but in love of their fellowmen, in practical goodwill and in devotion to the establishing of right human relations they stand with you.”.

Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 641

His obvious meaning in the first quote is that the true servers are found most everywhere but their allegiance is always on the side of what is best for humanity rather than the party or movement with which he is involved. This does not mean that they do not give positive support to their various groups as most have good aspects about them.

The rest of the quote may give some the idea that disciples will not take sides or even openly promote one side or be against another. While the server should try to be a positive and not a disruptive influence there are times when he must take a stand with firmness. The Hierarchy itself presents the example for us for DK tells use that whenever possible they avoid taking sides and just let humanity fight out their problems, but when the freedom of the soul is at stake they are very firm in their support and opposition.

Consider this quote from DK:

“When the war broke and the entire world was hurled into the consequent chaos, horror, disaster, death and agony, many spiritually minded people were anxious to stay aloof from the struggle. They were not the majority but a powerful and noisy minority. They regarded any attitude of partisanship as an infringement of the law of brotherhood and were willing to sacrifice the good of the whole of humanity to a sentimental urge to love all men in a manner which necessitated their taking no action or decision of any kind. Instead of “my country right or wrong,” it was “humanity, right or wrong.” When I wrote the pamphlet called The Present World Crisis and the succeeding papers on the world situation, I stated that the Hierarchy endorsed the attitude and aims of the United Nations, fighting for the freedom of the whole of humanity and for the release of the suffering people. This necessarily placed the Hierarchy in the position of not endorsing the Axis position in any way. Many in the goodwill work and some few in the school interpreted this as political in import, presumably believing that a position of complete neutrality, where both good and evil are concerned, was demanded of spiritually inclined people. Such people fail to think clearly and confuse an unwillingness to take sides with brotherly love, forgetting the words of the Christ that “he who is not with me is against me.” Let me repeat what I have oft said before. The Hierarchy and all its members, including myself, love humanity but they will not endorse evil, aggression, cruelty and the imprisoning of the human soul. They stand for liberty, for opportunity for all to move forward along the way of light, for human welfare without discrimination, for kindness and the right of every man to think for himself, to speak and to work. Necessarily they cannot, therefore, endorse the nations or the people in any nation who are against human freedom and happiness. In Their love and Their grasp of circumstance, They know that in a later life or lives the majority of those who are now the enemies of human freedom will themselves be free and tread the Lighted Way. In the meantime, the entire force of the Hierarchy is thrown on the side of the nations struggling to free humanity, and on the side of those in any nation who thus work. If being on the side of goodness and freedom is deemed detrimental to the spiritual issues, then the Hierarchy will work to change the attitude of people as to what is spiritual.

Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Pages 784-785

Let me repeat the last statement:

“the entire force of the Hierarchy is thrown on the side of the nations struggling to free humanity, and on the side of those in any nation who thus work. If being on the side of goodness and freedom is deemed detrimental to the spiritual issues, then the Hierarchy will work to change the attitude of people as to what is spiritual.”

The key principle here is the principle of freedom. Where freedom of the people is at stake then indeed a side must be taken, and the disciple will support those supporting freedom and oppose those against it.

Concerning DK’s position Alice A. Bailey says this:

“At the time of the second phase of the World War, which started in 1939, many pacifists and well meaning, though unthinking, people among the students of the Arcane School and the general public, which we could succeed in reaching, took the position that I had written the pamphlets and papers endorsing the United Nations and the need to defeat the Axis Powers, and that the Tibetan was not responsible for the anti-Nazi point of view of these articles. This, again, was not true. The pacifists took the orthodox and idealistic point of view that because God is love it would be impossible for Him to be anti-German or anti-Japanese. Because God is love, He had no alternative, or the Hierarchy either, working under the Christ, to do anything else but stand firmly on the side of those who were seeking to free humanity from slavery, evil, aggression and corruption. The words of the Christ have never been more true, “He that is not with Me is against Me.” The Tibetan in His writings at that time took a firm and unshakable stand, and today (1945) in view of the unspeakable atrocities, cruelties and enslavement policies of the Axis nations, His position has been justified.

DK also took a side against the suppression of freedom of the Soviet Union:

“The concept of unanimity which has been presented by Soviet Russia runs completely counter to the truth. Their idea is that the concept, the idea, the decision and the interpretation of a group of powerful men establishes the truth, and to this truth the docile masses render prompt allegiance. This is a basic misconception and to it no member of the New Group of World Servers will render homage; they will fight this imprisonment of the human soul to the last gasp.”

Overall, the New Group of World Servers has a great destiny. DK adds this:

“goodwill is the “saving force” and an expression of the will-to-good which animates the New Group of World Servers.”

“The important aspect, at this time, of the basic oneness underlying all forms, and which the workers of today must immediately emphasise, is the fact of the kingdom of God, of the planetary Hierarchy. The citizens of that kingdom and the members of that Hierarchy are gathered out of every nation, every political party, every social group, every religious cult or sect, and every organisation—no matter what their expressed objectives—and the universality of the field from which these people emerge, demonstrates their underlying unity. When this unity assumes adequate proportions in the eyes of mankind, a real synthesis will follow.”

Someone asked why the Ancient of Days had a molecule of seven, a different number than Christ or the Solar Logos.

The number of twelve is only one of many possible combinations producing human molecules. In the atomic world there are thousands of differing molecules.

Each human molecule created with a different structure will have different properties. The governing molecule in Shamballa has seven because it is created to work with the seven energy centers on this planet and for producing other properties that is no concern to us.

We have a Biblical record of a second molecule that Jesus attempted to create:

“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” Luke 10:1

Moses also gathered out seventy elders to see God:

“Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.”

Exodus 24:9-10

There are certain molecular properties available with a molecule of seventy that is peculiar to itself and the desired oneness and soul contact was not achieved either in the days of Moses of Jesus for it to manifest in its fullness.

As human molecules are created in this coming age we shall go forth as spiritual chemists and perform many experiments in perfecting the various combinations. Some combinations will be revealed to us and others will be discovered. We will prove Solomon wrong because there will be new things under the Sun.

I would assume that the first molecule will have to be gathered physically to activate it, but all things are possible. My instinct tells me that we could achieve some molecular flow through the internet, but the full activation will be in a physical gathering.

Zia writes:

“I would therefore offer myself in support wherever and however best suited in creating working molecules. This could just be holding the light and love and energy required to build this magnificent creation, or perhaps a temporary position working with another might offer itself, since it has been indicated that initially roles and positions may change etc. Is there a way in which I may assist all in this endeavor?”

To produce a unit for the molecule the two should have soul contact and understand and seek the creation of the Molecular Relationship. As far as our work on the internet both do not have to make postings, one can be the voice for the two.

There will be situations where a seeker will have a spouse who is a nice person, but just not interested in this type of thing, but may be jealous of his spouse having a working relationship with the opposite sex. In this case there will be several alternatives. He or she can attach themselves to a molecular unit where the main working relationship will be with the same sex. Or attached as a single person to a triad in the molecule.

Sylvia asks:

“Ok, it seems that I need to ask a specific question to get a specific answer. JJ, what are angels and what is their purpose incarnated? Are they to have a direct hand in progress, or are they cattle-prodders to catalyze others towards evolution and progress? All elaboration much appreciated!!”

There are two types of angels.

First there are angels who are humans who are out of incarnation, but 100% committed to serving God and there are other more advanced angels who have received a degree of immortality who also have passed through the human kingdom.

Such an angel as this appeared to John as is illustrated by his statement that he was ‘of thy brethren.” See Revelations 19:10.

The second general classification of angels are the deva lives which are not from the human kingdom and have a different consciousness and purpose than the human, but all devas will eventually pass through the human phrase.

Devas range from tiny little builders that give form to matter to great and powerful lives that have godly power. Most of them work with the building of form in some way. These lives use symbols rather than regular language for communication and are often contacted and sent on errands through ceremonies and sacraments of the various religions.

Devas are passive lives whereas humans are active. Devas sometimes incarnate into the bird kingdom or as fairies, gnomes, elves and nature spirits which are beyond regular human vision. Alice A. Bailey has written some about this.

We have deva guardian angels as well as sometimes human ones.

Laura asks:

“JJ has said that the word and the keys have been attempted to be presented in the past. If so, were there books regarding these keys? If so, what were they? Authors/titles? I’d like to look these up, if possible.”

Nothing from these attempts were published for the general public. We will have access to all necessary knowledge from the past as well as things never before revealed for human consumption.

Marylin Writes:

“I also have a question about people addicted to drugs and alcohol. Is it just possible that, even in these millennium times, that they incarnated at this time for the purpose of experiencing such addictions?”

We seem to hear this philosophy taught quite a bit lately. So and so incarnated just to do a bad thing, to make a mess of his life, to start a war or rape someone. This is false and misleading doctrine and comes from the world of illusion.

A truth that leads some to embrace this idea is this. Before we are born we study the situation that we will be entering and are shown a vision of all the possibilities of that life. If the entity is not that advanced he will see some negative tendencies that he is likely to embrace. There is no way to avoid taking some risks if he wants to progress so he accepts the life assignment, but he does so with the hope that he will avoid some of the likely pitfalls. Then, when the life is over some are satisfied with their performance while others are disappointed in themselves.

When we get married we never do so with the idea that it will fail, but we always realize that the possibility exists and if it does happen we often come out of the painful situation with important lessons learned that we would not trade for anything.

When we come into incarnation we always come down with the idea of making a success of it. Becoming addicted to drugs carries with it too large of a risk (that can carry over into several lifetimes) for one to volunteer for such an experience. Even though we all come here with good intentions most of us fall short of our goals, but the good news is that we do eventually learn our lessons and reach our goals.

One Plus One Equals One

I was asked the following question concerning the Molecular Relationship:

“It seems that the Molecule comprises 12×2, plus one leader, so effectively 13 units of people are involved. So why isn’t the number 13?”

First let me state that in the Molecule the male and female are counted as one unit. In defiance of the laws of mathematics 1+1=1. Actually, this is in harmony with the Law of Fusion. Neither the male or female is left out.

In the Piscean Age the attempted arrangement of the Molecules was on the basis of 12 plus one in the center with the center being Jesus in the days of the Apostles. Until a church was firmly established the molecule consisted of the twelve units with the invisible Christ in the center. Later an external substitute for the   Christ was created in the figure of the Pope.

The central figure thus became a prototype for a figure of infallible authority. During the past two thousand years this has been corrupted into the distortion of man replacing God as ultimate authority and the creation of the Beast as prophesied by John in Revelations which we talked about at length earlier.

In this age the creation of the Molecular Order will be slightly different physically but with the same creation principles being followed.

Unlike past ages as the human initiator I will not be in the center as the thirteenth member, but my wife and I will be one of the twelve units as equals with them. Nevertheless, there is still a thirteenth in the center and that is the Christ Himself who will establish a link with us between heaven and earth.

Because the thirteenth authority figure is to be invisible at this time it will not feed the temptation to set up a physical authority who will be a substitute for God.

Question:

“I was also wondering about the fragility of the Molecule. It seems that when the leader dies, the Molecule dies with it and no lasting benefit is achieved. Is the difference this time to be that the Molecule will last? Were the other attempts planned as prototypes of the lasting Molecule to come?”

One of the major problems 2000 years ago is that great distances often separated the Apostles and most of them were killed before they could get together and replace the missing ones.

We have many advantages in this age – the internet and other forms of communications, as well as air travel so we can reach any part of the globe in a day or so. If a Molecular Member dies or quits the group he can be replaced and balance can be obtained. Once there are three or four Molecules then if there is a betrayal as in the days of Jesus the two stable molecules can lend energy to the unstable molecule and thus bring assistance. When there is only one molecule there is more fragility.

The brotherhood always knew that lasting Molecules would not be created in the Piscean age, but the attempts gave the workers (as well as the Masters) experience that is carried over into this age.

I was asked about the three and a half generations mentioned in the Book of Revelation and how it may apply to the attempt by Joseph Smith to create one.

The way the scripture is written the indication is that the “woman” (molecule) will be in the wilderness for three and one half periods. This could be generations, or it could be something else. Forty years has kind of been assigned to a biblical generation because after forty years of wandering in the wilderness all the Israelites died except for three or four.

In our age a generation could be rounded out to fifty or sixty years. On the other hand, it could be three and one half Saturn Cycles. I believe the scripture was written somewhat ambiguously because the exact date was not a set one. Many of the workers who came with a mission in this age have been sidetracked.

Joseph Smith was killed in 1844 by an angry mob. It is interesting that the Church he created went into a real physical wilderness afterwards. The main reason the Mormons went to Utah was it was such a wilderness area that no one else wanted it. Thus the physical going into the wilderness was a symbol of the spiritual going into the wilderness.

I know the time is close for Excalibur to be released from the stone once again, but I will not predict the exact date. I only know for sure what I have been told which is this:

“Gather around you people who will listen to what you have been given and when the number is sufficient I will come to you and give you more.”

From this revelation I have the impression that this is a prophecy of the link up of the Molecular Order on earth with that of Heaven.

I was not told the number I had to gather with me but assume that it is at least 24 able to reach soul contact together. I am also not sure if the internet gathering is sufficient, but nevertheless my impression is to make the best of what we have to work with despite our distances and much good will come from it.

Question:

“If I think I have an idea about who might be my working partner – should I email him and make agreements about it – or should I wait (being the receiver!) and see if he emails me – or should I just go ahead and regard him as my partner when I am in NJ no matter if he approves it or not (he might not even know it then)?”

Answer: Don’t forget that both males and females have both energies within ourselves and we should always use them with judgment. If you feel impressed to make the first contact I would go ahead with it. If any of you have a name of someone in the group cross over your mind then go ahead and make contact and see if the feeling is mutual.

For right now the exchanging of ideas and thoughts about group discussion and more casual things that come to mind is a good place to start in creating a working relationship.

Concerning individual difficulties and how they distract members from forming a group – this is to be expected. Because this is an important move whenever one seeks to do such a thing as establishing a spiritual group, a similar type development will take place. It may seem as if heaven and hell are combined against you. It has seemed that way for me, but I ignore it to the best of my ability and proceed forwards.

Thus if you think you can put things off and that the formation of the group will be easier later, you may be mistaken.

Individuals need to decide whether they are going to do the project or not as Dave did in the parable. Then when you really decide to do it proceed no matter what.

Question

“Will there be only one Molecule connected with the Christ? I would think that once the word gets out and the soul connections are made that tens of thousands of complete molecules of 13 will be made. I realize that Christ, as a Master, must have many capabilities – will he head them all, or just the Molecule of the Masters-to-be?”

Every molecule created will be connected to the first molecule which receives spiritual energy and instruction from Christ and passes it on. Thus each molecule has equal access to Spirit and when activated through the linking principle, has all the advantages of the initiating molecule.

This is the second stage in materializing the second coming (or reappearance) of the Christ.

Don’t look for people jumping on the bandwagon in droves here, at least at first. Finding even 24 people who can be one through soul contact is difficult enough. Many will come in wanting the molecules to adjust to their personality level rather than them adjusting to the oneness of the soul.

It will be extremely important that the initiating molecular members all be at-one with the soul or all molecules created afterwards will be flawed, like an imperfect crystal.

Before everything is said and done I will probably be called a dictator for insisting that all members of the first molecule reach soul contact together and thus achieve oneness in thought – but this is something that must be achieved to a workable degree.

This is why Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest prophet who ever lived. Because he prepared a molecule for Jesus that was capable of soul contact and oneness in thought and turned them over to Jesus after the Spirit descended upon Him.

Question:

“I do not know if this means anything, I had a dream the other night, I can not clearly remember all of it but I do remember a sword with a I believe to be inside a crystal stone…can anyone explain my dream to me and all of you beginning to mention this?”

We are not likely to have a physical Excalibur in this age for the sword and the stone are symbols. The stone is a symbol of Christ and the sword is a symbol of the Word of God, or truth. By creating a molecular link with the Brotherhood of Light through Christ (the stone) the Word of God (the sword) is unsheathed and cuts asunder truth from error to build Camelot (the kingdom of God).

It is interesting that the name Peter means Rock or Stone and Jesus planted his word (the sword) in him and through Peter the first working Molecule continued with the invisible Christ assisting.

The name Arthur is from the Celtic “artos” which also means “stone.” It is also interesting that my wife’s real name is Artie which comes from Arthur. Perhaps her support keeps the sword of truth alive in me more than I know.

A reader expressed some confusion concerning the numbers involved in the molecule and wondered if we may have enough to create one presently and how we will know when the time is right.

Each human molecule has twelve male/female units. Each unit consists of one primary male/female plus possible associates as illustrated in the book.

In the center of the initiating molecule will be the Christ. Whether He has a separate female companion or has a fullness of male/females lives within Him for balance is not for me to write at this time, but I will say this.

He is overshadowed by the Ancient of Days and in the relationship Christ is the receiver (female) and the Logos is the sender (male). In relation to us they as a unit are definitely male or sending.

As the molecules expand into 2, 4, 12 and 24 structures the consciousness of Christ will expand with them always being in the center. Various Masters will transmit energy to numerous molecules, but the consciousness of the Christ will be in the center of them all as the invisible authority, this time replacing the idea of a visible infallible physical authority from the Piscean age that caused the world so much grief.

I will know we have enough for the first molecule when I count them up and I number twelve totally committed male/female units that can see eye to eye in the soul and touch the Spirit as one life.

All who desire to create Molecules are welcome to step forward. If you are ready your spiritual endowment will come. If not the path to follow lies before you to tread. If you are pure in heart you will always have your next step revealed.

Who or What am I?

Who or What am I?

I see the group is guessing who I may have been in past lives. I suppose I had better comment on this or some will feel I am avoiding the question.

Now suppose I told you I was some great teacher or historical figure from the past and you accepted this in your mind? Whenever I give you a teaching from that point on, there is the danger that that you would not be looking at what I am teaching, but what some authority from the past is teaching and there are some who would accept me without first checking with their own minds and souls.

On the other hand, suppose I told you that I have been nobody special in any past life? Then we have a danger in the opposite direction. Some would not even give me enough credibility to bother to check with their souls to find the truth of my teachings.

This is one of the reasons that we lose our memory of past lives. It allows all of us, great and small, to have a fresh start in each new birth. If you and Jesus were born as twin brothers or sisters, your words and actions would have as much authority as His until He proved himself anew.

This is as it should be; otherwise we would be tempted to rest upon our past accomplishments and not attempt to learn new things and improve upon the old.

The Master taught: “Except you be born again, you will not see the Kingdom of God.”

We can see the wisdom of being born again when we examine many people in the latter half or near the end of their lives. They have learned a trade and have few financial worries so they desire to retire and spend the rest of their lives fishing, relaxing, traveling the country or the world and if they lived forever in this state of mind they would be of no use to God or man for eternity. By the grace of God they die and are reborn in a challenging situation where they must struggle to survive and achieve.

Only when a person can become born again without being born again can he become ready for true eternal life. In this wording is a major hint for contemplation.

Let us use the effect of past lives in relation to a group member, like John K. for instance. He often writes inspiring postings, parables and stories and we all appreciate him for it.

Now let us suppose that we all found out that he was the Buddha born again. Why, we would all stop in our tracks and reread everything he has written and see meaning there that we never saw before.. Then when he posts something we would read it with bated breath to see the latest revelations of the great one instead of the simple words of a friend we all know as John.

The Tibetans have this problem with the Dalai Lama.

They look for the same leader to be reborn in each new generation and when they find him, as they suppose, they immediately begin to place everything he says above the words of everyone else in the realm. Meanwhile if a great Master were to arise in their midst, his words would be largely ignored in favor of the lesser words of their leader.

It is always difficult for a spiritual teacher to get the attention of the masses without some strong astral attention grabber. Look at Christ, for instance, the greatest of us all. Even though He had power to attract attention through miracles He had great difficulty getting people to pay attention to His words. After His crucifixion and the miracles were gone His disciples met together and their full number was one hundred and twenty (See Acts 1:15) I guess with that in mind we are lucky to have a couple hundred in this group who are seeking the words that stir the soul.

Now let us go the other direction and say that we found out that John was Judas. Now things would be different. We would look with suspicion on every word he posted. We would wonder about his sincerity and we would make sure he never got close to our kids.

Thus it is a blessing that we do not generally remember our past or know the past lives of others, for by starting with a clean slate in our relationships all people have a fair chance to succeed. If our past life was a great success, our ego may have to be taken down a few notches, but if our past life was a failure we are able to drop those negative memories and get on with our progression.

As it is John is seen by us for what he is now in the present time without the disadvantage of seeing him through the eyes of the past.

Dave was very close to reading me correctly when he said:

“I think it would be wonderful to learn that our teacher used to be one of the great people. On the other hand, it would probably benefit most people to not know. People have a tendency to ‘blindly’ follow prophets, and if anyone had any reason to believe he was one of these people, they would stop questioning him and never verify anything he said against their soul. You’re soul will help you learn what you need to know when the time is right.”

You are on the right track here. But I do not want the group to get me wrong in the other direction and think there is no value to learning our past lives. It can be of great value, but the value of learning our own past lives is generally much more than learning someone else’s. Knowing our past can often help us understand the direction we need to take in this life and how karma is to be dealt with.

Thus I will not reveal my past. If there is some necessity for someone to know it the knowledge can be acquired through the Oneness Principle through the soul, but that would be for your personal benefit and not for any publication.

I’d like to make one other observation about past lives. We all know that there is strong glamour and illusion connected with them. About half of the people who believe in it tend to think they were some great historical figure, even though their talents in this life do not seem to vaguely resemble a Lincoln, Edison or Jesus. If you mention to such people that they might have just been some person forgotten to history their jaw will often drop in disappointment, but just suppose this with me for a moment.

Let us suppose that all of us in this group died this day and were reborn a hundred years from now and in that future age we received a revelation of who we were back in this time. Would our jaws drop?

Let’s pick on John again. He is a musician, and I assume a good one, but if he died today there probably would be little record 100 years hence of any contribution he made to mankind. But that does not mean his life was not important. It is important to all of us for he has touched many souls here as well I am sure he has touched many souls off the list.

The same may be said of me. If I were to die today there would be little or no historical record of me in a hundred years, yet that does not diminish what I teach or what I have learned in preparation for the future. If I were to die today I would carry my essence with me into the future and finish what I have Decided to Become and the mission I have accepted.

We cannot all be a Washington, a Peter or a Buddha, but we can all be a Glenys, a John K, a Rob, a Rick, an Anni, a Xavier…

Well maybe not Xavier – he’s one of a kind (LOL)

My point is that most of us, possibly all of us were not historical figures and we must all be prepared for the possibility that we were no more famous in our last life than we are in this one, but that’s not so bad, is it?

I am enjoying being a regular guy in this life. That could change if I produce a best selling book, and in some ways I’m not looking forward to any fame but I have an inner driving from the Spirit that pushes me ahead and all of us must face whatever comes as we follow higher purpose.

Laura wants to know the fate of the original twelve apostles. Are they going to show up in this group or as a molecule somewhere on the earth or are they Masters living apart from humanity?

Some of them have become Masters and some of them are still struggling to attain the higher initiations. All of the twelve that were in the Molecule on the day of Pentecost and I believe that most are in physical bodies on the earth today. Some who have incarnated have gotten temporarily caught up in some illusion and are not performing the work they intended to accomplish. This is partially due to the intense efforts of the Dark Brotherhood to discourage them for the desire of the Christ is to gather them around Him when He walks among us again.

Because of free will there are no guarantees on this type of thing.

And how about Judas? I do not know about his fate for sure, but we do know that he had remorse after he saw what happened to his Lord and this tells us that he had not yet completely chosen the dark path. It is entirely possible that he has paid off his debt and is a disciple today.

Clears and Soul Contact

Concerning Scientology, a common theme in Hubbard’s writings seems to be a study of the control many have to deal with because of painful experiences and imbedded thoughts.

The Scientologists deal a lot with this concept. L. Ron Hubbard taught that many painful experiences are recorded in the reactive mind (non thinking mind) as engrams. These engrams are like powerful hypnotic suggestions that can exercise great control over the average individual.

The great part is that for a zillion dollars they can remove all your engrams and take you to a super human state they call “clear.” After reading his book on Dianetics you would think a clear could walk on water as well as be as flawlessly logical as Spock from Star Trek.

Some famous people like Tom Cruz, John Travolta and Kirsty Alley are Scientologists, but I first became suspicious of their claims when I met my first clear while I was visiting one of their centers. As we were talking I noticed that the guy was smoking a cigarette so I asked him why someone who is clear would smoke since it does not seem to be a logical thing to do.

He then told me with a straight face that a clear can smoke and not be hurt by it for the bad stuff will just pass through his system.

“I’ll check with you in another thirty years,” I thought to myself.

Even though this guy was obviously in great illusion it is true that the removal of engrams can have some benefit for the astrally polarized person, but what the Scientologists do not realize is that soul consciousness can eliminate most of the problems created by engrams, and the financial cost is zero.

He who has firm soul contact can resister the effects of engrams, prayers, influences and then let them pass through him and dissipate into the ethers.

Any time you do not feel free it is because some knowledge is lacking for “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free,” as the Master said.

If we ‘seek first the kingdom of God,” as Jesus also said, “then all things will be added.” This includes a release from engrams and all unwanted influences from painful childhood experiences through soul contact.

There seems to be a lot of concern about finding the ideal romantic partner. Travis expressed a healthy attitude about this: “At the moment I’m approaching it such that I will accept it if it happens, but if it doesn’t, oh well I’ll do it later, no rush.”

It seems that many people with this relaxed attitude find what they want faster than he who aggressively seeks it. I would like to emphasize the benefit of this attitude for you do not need a romantic partner to be a full participant in the molecule. In the Kingdom of God no person is denied any participation because of circumstances beyond his control. He can only deny himself because of unwillingness to take needed steps.

It is better to wait and find the right romantic partner than to rush and get the wrong one. If perchance you marry a person of standard interests the chances are that he will fight you tooth and nail to frustrate your participation of spiritual endeavors.

When the time is right a good romantic partner will come into your life. In the meantime, as far as the Molecular Relationship goes, a working non romantic partner will work much better than a spouse who does not support you.

Even though we are not ready to form a working molecule here yet group members without a suitable partner who are interested should be keeping an eye out for a working partner in the group. When a working partner is chosen he or she can be exchanged for another at any time, so you are not making any long term commitment here. In fact, the only commitment you make is to follow the soul together which is basically the commitment of all disciples.

Some working partnerships will turn romantic, others will just stay on a friendship level and still others will not be that harmonious and some rearrangements will be made.

Jean asks:

“J.J, I too have a question for you…what do you think of the “visitations of Mary” as in Medjgorie, Fatima, and Lourdes? How does all of that fit in all this?”

Almost all of the visits of famous spiritual people from the past are illusions created by thoughtforms.

Let us take Mary and Jesus for example. Millions of people at any given moment around the globe are pouring astral energy toward these two entities and these thoughts and feelings sent forth create real images of these two that wander the earth speaking platitudes to whoever catches a glimpse of them with astral vision.

These thoughtforms which can seem real to the beginner do not have the consciousness of the original and will never teach new principles as the real Christ would.

I have met quite a few people who claim to have seen Jesus and I always ask what Jesus said to them. This astral Jesus always speaks in nice sounding phrases that we have heard before like: “be kind to everyone you meet.” “You have a great mission in life.” “The meek will inherit the earth,” or something like that which brings no additional light over what is already in the Bible.

A true master will contact the disciple on the physical or higher mental through telepathy or the science of impression.

We as a group will create thoughtforms of masters, but not be deceived by them for the intentional creation of a thought form of a Master can actually draw the consciousness of the Master into the thoughtform if the group is ready for revelation. Even if the group is not ready group soul energy can vitalize the thoughtform and bring forth some higher knowledge and energy.

The main way to recognize real higher contact is through soul contact. The disciple also needs to look at the quality of the revelation to see if it goes beyond that which could be easily made up by the creative mind.
