The Questions;

What is the “centralisation of a man’s life energy” and what causes it? What are the planes where this focus occurs and what is the solution to restore good health?

Some of these laws and rules are rather esoteric so it takes some thinking to figure them out. Ruth was the only one who ventured a try and did a good job.

DK tells us that disease is an effect of the basic centralization of a man’s life energy. The first question to ask is what is life energy?

Life energy is basically soul energy or energy which pours into us from the Higher Self. We are often called reflections of the soul, its shadow or projection. We are not an exact reflection as the soul does not duplicate itself but pours forth a portion of its life energy into a physical incarnation while reserving most of it for itself on its own sphere.

At birth the soul energy is not fully anchored but this is achieved when the entity reaches full self consciousness around seven or eight years of age.

Our vital energy responsible for good health runs through our etheric body, but is strongly influenced by our emotions and thought process. The emotional self is the most powerful influence in many people as all positive and negative emotions have an effect. Happiness, enjoyment, inspiration, faith, hope all stimulate the energy flow. Negative emotions such as jealousy, rage, gate, hurt feelings, sorrow, discouragement, frustration and others disturb the natural flow.

Wrong handling of the negative emotions can cause a ‘centralization” of life energy.

There are two keys to minimize this danger.

(1) Minimize emotional trauma.

All of us have feelings and will, at one time or another, suffer some type of negative emotion. We have some control over how we will feel in some situations and others not so much. For instance, if the love of your life has an affair you will be emotionally affected if you are a self-conscious human. In such profound situations you will definitely suffer some negative feelings, but still will have a large degree of control over how you are going to deal with them and diffuse them.

Fortunately, there are many small things that emotionally affect people that we can, with practice and attention, get under control so they will not negatively impact us. For instance, many get their feelings hurt through careless and innocent speech. This can be controlled. The disciple is almost impossible to affect negatively by insulting him as he lets it pass through him.

Others get discouraged easily. It is much healthier to pick yourself up and try again.

Still others lose hope. It is much healthier to see a silver lining in the cloud.

Others want revenge to right a wrong. It is healthier to forgive

(2) Acknowledge negative feelings when they occur and send them away as harmless as possible.

Suppression is a major cause of low energy and disease. During these times when the emotions are negatively affected the seeker must be honest about how he feels and use all means of honest and sincere communication to diffuse the situation so the negative feeling will not find a place to reside indefinitely and create a focus in the body for disease.

I’ve written a lot about dealing with suppression so will refer readers to those writings.

Wrong focus on the mental plane also creates many problems, such as instability and various forms of mental illness as well as some physical problems.

A book could be written on this subject but I’ll sum up with this statement. In the end we avoid wrong centralization by becoming a stable human being, both emotionally and mentally, and honestly facing and communicating our feelings and thoughts.

Next we come to the Fourth Law of Healing:

Disease, both physical and psychological, has its roots in the good, the beautiful and the true. It is but a distorted reflection of divine possibilities. The thwarted soul, seeking full expression of some divine characteristic or inner spiritual reality, produces within the substance of its sheaths a point of friction. Upon this point the eyes of the personality are focussed, and this leads to disease.

The art of the healer is concerned with the lifting of the downward focussed eyes unto the soul, the Healer within the form. The spiritual or third eye then directs the healing force, and all is well.

Again, a book could be written on this and DK has covered a few things. There are a couple statements that deserve some thought.

And…

How does one help a brother lift “the downward focussed eyes unto the soul”?

In a disordered mind, as in a disordered body, soundness of health is impossible.

Vegetarian Nazis

Many vegetarians present themselves as the peaceful loving ones and meat eaters as vicious killers and warmongers.

Vegetarian blogger Jordan Younger found out that many of her fellow vegetarians were more like the vegetarian Hitler than Gandhi.

For health reasons she announced on her blog that she was starting to eat a little meat and eggs. Here was the response:

That’s when all hell broke loose. Her site crashed within two minutes and 1,000 followers instantly ditched her. Worse, she received anonymous death threats from hard-core vegans claiming she condoned the slaughter of animals and that neither she nor her family had the right to live.

“It was shocking,” recalls Younger, who moved from New York back to Los Angeles around the time of the fallout. “It made me realize how elitist some of the people within that [vegan] world could be.”

Of course, like every other group, there are both good and bad vegetarians, but it seems that an uncomfortable percentage of them are not that peaceful and quite militant.

Questions:

How is it that disease “has its roots in the good, the beautiful and the true”?

And…

How does one help a brother lift “the downward focussed eyes unto the soul”?

Much of our disease is caused by a lack of communication and interplay between the incarnated person and the soul. This is why DK makes mention of the “thwarted soul.” The soul has a plan for what its reflection is to learn or accomplish in any particular life and more often than not the incarnated person does not get the full message and goes off course. This going off course creates a disturbance in the force or “a point of friction” that disrupts the etheric body and hence the physical. This leads to some type of disease or pain.

Disease and pain are generally a sign that the person is out of harmony with the will of the soul. Resistance to this higher will, whether it be in ignorance or consciously, leads to a resistance of soul force which leads to all kinds of problems and pain. The pain will increase until the pilgrim looks to the skies and asks, “Why me?” At that point if the seeker listens for an answer, the answer will come in a still small voice or a flash of inspiration.

The soul has designed for us a life plan that will manifest the good, the beautiful and the true if we will but cooperate. If we do not cooperate and are going off course then a message must be sent to change the direction.

Because we are imprisoned in this dense physical matter, making it difficult to hear the voice of the soul, strong measures must be taken. Since speaking in normal soul language does not reach most of us the soul has to shout at us to get our attention. The suffering of disease and pain is like hearing the alarming sound of the soul saying with a loud voice, “Stop, you are going the wrong direction and need to change course.”

Us humans are pretty thick headed but given enough pain and discomfort we will sooner or later examine our lives and figure out what we need to do differently.

So, how does one help a brother lift “the downward focussed eyes unto the soul”?

First of all, the healer or helper must tune into his brother and see the direction of his vision. Are his eyes truly downward focused, looking away from the soul rather than toward it? Are his ears also listening to other voices drowning out the soul? If this is the case the healer must contact the patient’s soul through his own soul and discern the message that the person is not incorporating into his life. Once this message is understood two things must happen,

(1) The healer will tell the patient that which he has concluded from his tuning into the soul.

Unfortunately, this alone is usually not enough to heal the patient for he will either reject the words of the healer or just not have the will to incorporate them. Therefore, the healer must do one more thing.

(2) He must lift the downward focused eyes toward the soul. In other words, the healer will tell the patient that he must verify the words he says with his own soul. He directs the patient to meditate, contemplate or pray and look to his true source to verify the needed change of direction. If the seeker does this and obtains a strong sense that the change is needed then he will have the will to make the change.

When the patient has reached a firm determination to make the change then supernatural healing methods can be used as indicated in the last line of the law:

“The spiritual or third eye then directs the healing force, and all is well.”

We’ll skip over Law Five for now, as it is very esoteric, and move to Law Six:

When the building energies of the soul are active in the body, then there is health, clean interplay and right activity. When the builders are the lunar lords and those who work under the control of the moon and at the behest of the lower personal self, then there is disease, ill health and death.

So basically there are two main forces competing to do the building – that of the Higher Self, the Soul and the lower self.

Question:

Fortunately, there are a number of things we can do to enhance soul force. Tell us some things one can do to make sure the building energies of the soul dominate?

It is part of the cure to want to be cured.

The Question:

Tell us some things one can do to make sure the building energies of the soul dominate?

There are quite a number of things one can do to help clear the way for a free flow of soul energies. Let us list a few of them.

(1) Follow the highest you know. There are many barriers to transverse to reach the point of soul infusion where the personality and the soul are as one. For many, finding the right path is like attempting to find your way in the dark of night.

All of us though are gifted with a certain amount of common sense, reason and a sense of right and wrong. We can use these tools to pick the best possible decision that can be assessed and go with it. If one is committed to following the highest he knows then he will correct mistakes when they become apparent and eventually get himself upon the right path.

By following the highest we know we are showing the soul that we are doing our part and not adding undue resistance to its healing powers.

(2) Avoid guilt like the plague. Nothing interferes with soul energy like good old fashion guilt. If one feels unworthy of divine blessings then one has just judged himself to be in that condition.

Following the highest you know will help minimize guilt, but it is not a cure-all. Why? Because guilt is caused by accepting an outer voice as the voice of God rather than the inner voice. If an outer voice that is accepted as a prophet, pope, priest or authority from God tells you that it is wrong to eat peas then you will feel guilty if you eat peas. If this same outer voice tells you that you are not good enough then you will not feel good enough even though you are doing everything within your power to enter the gates of heaven.

The solution to overcoming guilt is to give your inner voice the highest authority and follow it. The inner God will never condemn you if you follow the highest you know.

If the seeker will follow the highest he knows and master guilt he has crossed a major hurtle in removing blockages and assures the flow of the spiritual energy that heals.

(3) Make wise choices in diet and exercise. Many follow the highest they know in these two categories, but the highest they know is far from the best course. It is wise therefore to get educated in these two areas so the seeker can follow the right course.

One of the best investments one can ever make is to read a few books on these subjects and get a feel for the right direction. A month’s study can yield results that can add 20 years to your life.

A good diet and moderate exercise can greatly aid in the assimilation of vital life energy and make it much easier for soul energy to flow without impediments.

(4) Sunshine and clean fresh air.

Not only is the sun essential to all life, but it is a vitalizing force beyond the realization of many health practitioners. Current research gives evidence contrary to the idea that the sun causes skin cancer.

We receive two types of UV radiation from the sun UVB and UVA. The UVA is deemed to be the dangerous one whereas the UVB is quite beneficial and helps the body produce vitamin D3.

UVB is most available when the sun is highest in the sky. If the sun is between 50-90 degrees from the horizon you will get some UVB radiation. If the sun is lower then most of it will be filtered out.

(5) Drink pure water. I have written quite a bit about water for those who want to search the archives.

(6) Honest communication – do not suppress emotions. Do not see yourself as a victim.

(7) Always set new goals. Give yourself a reason to live and stay healthy.

(8) Get enough sleep, but not too much. Take a nap if you feel drowsy.

(9) Avoid prescription drugs if at all possible as they usually create more problems than they solve. Consult a natural health practitioner before taking any, except for antibiotics in an emergency.

(10) Be thankful for what you have. A spirit of appreciation, even in difficult times, helps to keep the link with the soul strong.

Now let us move ahead to Law Nine:

Perfection calls imperfection to the surface. Good drives evil from the form in time and space. The method used by the Perfect One and that employed by Good is harmlessness. This is not negativity but perfect poise, a completed point of view and divine understanding.

The questions

What do you suppose DK means by “good”? How does being good and harmlessness give one the power to heal?

Speaking of good, the few souls who attempted to comment on this rather esoteric subject gave “good” answers and demonstrated “good” thinking. Now here is my two cents worth.

We have talked a lot about good and evil here, but there always seems to be more insights to be achieved. DK appears to be linking or associating good with harmlessness. A key word representing this thought is harmony which synchronously also starts with “harm”. Perhaps it could be said that harmlessness and harmony both neutralize harm.

Imagine a good pianist skillfully playing beautiful music on a well-tuned piano. Those listening will be basking in sweet harmony. Beautiful harmonious music can lift the downward focused eyes to the soul and lift the person above the cares of the world almost to an alternate dimension of enjoyment with thoughts completely taken away from earthly cares.

On the other hand, just let a three-year old kid pound away on the keys for a moment and you’ll hear a cacophony of sound that is almost hurtful to the ears – something you wouldn’t identify with harmlessness.

The first instinct is to tell the kid to stop, or maybe grab him and pull him away so the torture will end.

From this perspective, good is that which is harmonious and evil is that which is out of harmony.

The Aquarian Gospel, chapter 23, gives some beautiful words of Jesus about harmony:

5 The laws of nature are the laws of health, and he who lives according to these laws is never sick.

6 Transgression of these laws is sin, and he who sins is sick.

7 He who obeys the laws, maintains an equilibrium in all his parts, and thus insures true harmony; and harmony is health, while discord is disease.

8 That which produces harmony in all the parts of man is medicine, insuring health.

9 The body is a harpsichord, and when its strings are too relaxed, or are too tense, the instrument is out of tune, the man is sick.

10 Now, everything in nature has been made to meet the wants of man; so everything is found in medical arcanes.

11 And when the harpsichord of man is out of tune the vast expanse of nature may be searched for remedy; there is a cure for every ailment of the flesh.

12 Of course the will of man is remedy supreme; and by the vigorous exercise of will, man way make tense a chord that is relaxed, or may relax one that is too tense, and thus may heal himself.

13 When man has reached the place where he has faith in God, in nature and himself, he knows the Word of power; his word is balm for every wound, is cure for all the ills of life.

14 The healer is the man who can inspire faith. The tongue may speak to human ears, but souls are reached by souls that speak to souls.

That last sentence gives us the most important key as to where harmony must be found. It is found in soul speaking to soul and to make this possible the lower self must be in harmony with the soul.

To become an expert in harmoniously playing a musical instrument takes a lot of practice yet many think they can be one with their soul by making a quick decision and going for it. This is not quite the case. To become proficient at the harmony of the soul also takes practice.

And where can seekers practice if they are not even sure if they have made contact?

Lots of places.

Practice with your loved ones, your friends, family, fellow workers. Practice with our lesser brothers, the animals, and all life that is encountered. Practice being harmonious so that others will want to be in your presence just as people want to be in the presence of a harmonious and skillful musician.

When the seeker reaches a point where life is magnetically drawn to him or her then the soul will also feel it is time to connect and bring the person to a new level of harmony, good and harmlessness.

It is interesting that a tuning fork, when struck, can cause a nearby tuning fork to vibrate with the same frequency. One musical instrument when played will have an effect on other stringed instruments. This is called the principle of entrainment.

It thus makes perfect sense that the healer who is in harmony with his soul and other lives around him will have a healing effect through his mere presence.

The good, which is the harmony of soul makes disharmony obvious and “drives evil from the form in time and space.”

In addition to laws of healing DK speaks of rules. Here is Rule One:

Let the healer train himself to know the inner stage of thought or of desire of the one who seeks his help. He can thereby know the source from whence the trouble comes. Let him relate the cause and the effect and know the point exact through which relief must come.

So, in your own words how does the healer find this exact point and what does he do once he finds it?

Quality is a tremendous filter. Cream always rises, my friends, no matter how many cups of coffee you pour.

We do not have much dialog that took place between Jesus and the people he healed. The Bible makes it sound like people just came to him and he spoke the word and they were healed and that was all there was to it.

What is not recorded is how long the various healings lasted. Just as many today experience miraculous recoveries and then have the illness return, I’m sure that not all of the healings of Jesus were permanent.

Jesus had an interesting encounter with ten lepers. Here is the account from chapter 133 of the Aquarian Gospel

17 And Jesus, all alone, went to the feast by the Samaria way; and as he went through Sychar on the way, the lepers saw him and a company of ten called from afar and said,

18 Lord Jesus, stay and speak the Word for us that we may be made clean.

19 And Jesus said, Go forth and show yourselves unto the priests.

20 They went, and as they went their leprosy was healed. One of the ten, a native of Samaria, returned to thank the master and to praise the Lord.

21 And Jesus said to him, Lo, ten were cleansed; where are the nine? Arise, and go your way; your faith has made you whole.

22 You have revealed your heart and shown that you are worthy of the power; behold the nine will find again their leprous hands and feet.

Here we discover that one seeking healing, even from master, must do more than just receive and bask in the healing. Only one out of ten took the extra step for himself to make the healing permanent. He gave thanks and glory to God and showed that he was “worthy of the power.”

To be worthy of the power the one being healed must follow that ancient truism to “know thyself.” Both the healer and the one being healed must “know the inner stage of thought or of desire” of the one seeking healing. Unfortunately, the patient is often unaware of his own inner workings and these must be brought to light by the healer.

So, how does the healer discover the inner thought and desires of the patient so the person can be restored to health?

There are three ways.

(1) If the healer knows the patient and has a history with him then he has had time to observe the person and assess where the problems lie.

(2) The healer can ask the patient a number of questions that will assist him in finding the problem. This is helpful even if he knows the person.

Since I am a handwriting analyst, I also look at the handwriting for clues. Emotional suppression is an important one to look for.

(3) Intuition. Not many are sensitive enough to diagnose with intuition alone, but a certain amount of intuitive assessment is very helpful.

When the cause and the effect of the disease is assessed then the healer should relate it to the patient and seek his cooperation in neutralizing the negative energy. The healer may first give the patient some instructions that he needs to follow to set his life in order before he attempts a permanent healing.

Then when the cause of the problem and its location is understood, as well as the solution the healer can attempt a permanent healing. He can use a number of methods to send energy to the center related to the location of the problem

Here is the second rule of healing:

The healer must achieve magnetic purity, through purity of life. He must attain that dispelling radiance which shows itself in every man when he has linked the centres in the head. When this magnetic field is established, the radiation then goes forth.

Affirmations of the Disciple

1. Truth is the highest religion
2. I seek to speak the undistorted truth at all times.
3. I use the Law of Correspondences. Truth corresponds with truth. As below, so above with a twist.
4. Maximum freedom equals maximum light and love and power for all.
5. All humans are from the same Source, share the same soul essence with a destiny to embrace each other with love. I send love to all who are willing to receive.
6. I am not alone. I am eternally connected with my Source and all life and seek to consciously re-establish those connections.
7. True authority comes from the voice of God within, not someone without who claims to represent that voice.
8. I am a Being who is Becoming and am responsible for my destiny.
9. Like attracts like. I seek to gather with the lights and throw light upon those who dwell in darkness.
10. I extend goodwill and friendship to all my brothers and sisters throughout the world.
11. I understand that the seeds I sow today shall be reaped tomorrow. I therefore sow and nourish good seeds.
12. I seek to assist all my brothers and sisters to speed their journey home to our Source.

The second rule of healing:

The healer must achieve magnetic purity, through purity of life. He must attain that dispelling radiance which shows itself in every man when he has linked the centres in the head. When this magnetic field is established, the radiation then goes forth.

Johann was right in that Ruth did make a great post commenting on this. She was right in stating that an essential part of obtaining magnetic purity lies with the astral/emotional body.

DK gives an interesting take on the “sea of glass” mentioned in the Book of Revelation. He says this is a symbol of the astral body in its purified condition. The colors in the astral bodies of most people are somewhat muddy and off color because of their negative and stormy feelings. The goal of the disciple is to control the astral body by stilling the negative emotions. Then, when the astral body is clear it becomes a reflector of the higher purified feelings and thought.

As it is now in the masses, the astral bodies are so murky that the higher thoughts and feelings become greatly distorted after they filter through it. Because of this the average person sees many things in reverse of what they should be. The poor condition of the astral bodies of the people is one of he reasons that Isaiah complained that almost all were calling evil good, and good evil.

This is still the case today and few are able to discern good from evil on subtle matters. Robert spoke truly when he said, “So truth heals, it sets us free.” We can only receive that truth when the astral body doesn’t get in the way with negative static.

Purity of life applies to all three planes, the physical, astral and mental. Even though many seekers find it difficult to stay in good physical health, the astral health is even more difficult and more crucial for the emotions have a huge effect on the physical. If your emotions are peaceful and balanced then a great hurdle toward physical health is achieved.

When the physical body is healthy, the emotions are balanced and the mind is focused on loving service then the two centers in the head come in alignment and the disciple will increase in power to radiate spiritual energy and thus increase his or her power to assist others with healing.

All the rules and laws of healing covered by DK are very enlightening, but some would take a lot of time to cover so we’ll skip over to one more rule before we move on from his topic. Those interested in greater depth can read DKs major treatise on it called Esoteric Healing which is free online.

Rule Six

The healer or the healing group must keep the will in leash. It is not will that must be used, but love.

Many see great healers as using a powerful spiritual will, but here he says the will must be kept in leash. Why do you suppose that is? And why is it that love must be the focus?

What can the healer do to bring more love into the equation?
