Two Types of People

Dan:

So it seems that my dream of creating a community with folks of varying beliefs based upon the common denominator of freedom would be doomed to failure.

I despair of ever finding even just two NORMAL people that REALLY fully agree on hot button topics like drugs, abortion, gays, etc.

I was hoping to find a common thread that could be pretty much recognizable to anyone.

JJ

The most common thread that is recognizable to those who have a significant light burning within them is respect for majority will. Even though these have different views on democracy most still recognize that majority representation is an important principle.

Let us take taxes for example. The vast majority believe that some type of taxing system must be in place in order to raise revenue for the state. The average person just wants the taxes to be fair and spent efficiently on things of real public need.

The trouble with taxes is that there is a wide range of views as to how much the people should be taxed and what they should be spent on. In this case the solution is to create a taxing system that is accepted as fair to the majority who actually pay them. If this happens then the people as a whole will be satisfied, even many who mildly disagree. There will always be a few who disagree with decisions made by governing officials, but if the majority is happy then there will be stability and progress.

Unfortunately, in the United Sates the majority will of the actual taxpayers has not been respected and much of their money has been wasted and their children placed in debt due to the tremendous debt accumulated. We then, as a country are not as stable as we should be.

Any great leader must consider the majority will of the people he leads. If he wants to go in a direction contrary to majority will then he needs to teach the people correct principles so he can sway enough people to his side so he will wind up working with the majority.

Now freedom is an unusual subject as 99% of the people will claim to be on freedoms side and want as much of it as possible, especially for themselves. When it comes to freedom for others with different views it becomes another matter. Most people want quite a few restrictions to freedom on others for their own good and that of society.

The guy who doesn’t drink normally doesn’t mind an type of law regulating alcohol because it does not restrict his own freedom. The slow driver doesn’t mind low speed limits. The guy who buckles up doesn’t mind seat belt laws and the guy with the low income doesn’t mind taxing the rich.

And apparently the guy who believes in orthodox global warming theory doesn’t mind taking away freedom of speech from those who are skeptical. A Rasmussen poll this month (Nov 2015) revealed that 27% of Democrats and 11% of Republicans want skeptics prosecuted for speaking against standard global warming theory. In addition to this 15% of the general public are not sure if skeptics need to be prosecuted.

I’ll tell you this much. I will do my best to avoid gathering any people in any group I am associated with who is so small minded as to want to prosecute someone for sincerely expressing a different opinion. It is insane that this many people would want to punish so many for free speech -speech that is totally necessary.

There are two kinds of people in the world.

Those who value freedom for themselves as well as others who think and act differently than themselves and those who only consider freedom in relation to themselves and what they want for their own little world.

To gather any group of lights that will head in the direction of oneness, people from the first group must be sought. The lights of the earth must consider freedom as it registers in the mind of his brother or sister as well as himself. He must seek to fulfill the dreams of his brother as well as himself to insure the greatest happiness and freedom for the whole.

The next great gathering will not result in perfect freedom and happiness for all but we will move a step or two in that direction and from this gathering a second gathering will take place to create spiritual molecules.

The common thread in the molecules will be soul contact. This is the final common thread that really does create oneness of purpose.

Of course people in the molecules will have different opinions of their favorite movie, color, car to drive etc, but when it comes down to decisions within the molecule they will be as one in support of decisions because they will all be contacting the same source.

Freedom is slavery.

Ignorance is strength.”

More on Freedom

Dan writes:

By what criteria can a person that doesn’t already (think they) know how the universe works determine if a particular act increases or decreases freedom for the whole?

***

Some issues, like murder, seem clear while some, like forced/mandated insurance, are not and I am unable to pick up the common “thread” that SHOULD, logically, run through ANY/ALL issues that lie on one side or the other of the principle.

In example how does it decrease the freedom for the whole for me to exercise my freedom to steal my neighbor’s sheep?

EVERYBODY is going to kneejerk say it OBVIOUSLY decreases the freedom of the whole but specifically how?

It increases my freedom to eat mutton tonight and decreases his – that only impacts me and him, NOT the freedoms of this (nebulous) “whole”.

JJ

There are two keys for insuring maximum freedom for any group.

The first is the Second Key of Judgment and the second is the taking into consideration what the will of the majority is concerning what is necessary for maximum freedom.

Let us say that we have before us a large number of groups with a wide range of consciousness. Let us also say they can be labeled between one and ten with ten being the highest state.

The maximum freedom for group one would be much less than a group with the rating of ten. Group one would have to have many black and white rules, group two less and group three less still until we get to ten which would need few if any rules as the Principle of Freedom would be a part of their consciousness.

The leaders of each of the ten groups would have to tap into public opinion to determine the least amount of rules and laws needed so they could tap into maximum freedom and efficiency.

Now let us examine your question about stealing the sheep. Let us say that you and the sheep owner are the only two people in the area and no one else is affected by anything either of you do.

Yes, if you steal the other guy’s sheep you will increase your freedom to possess the sheep and eat mutton while the owner loses this advantage. Looking at it this way it seems that the net gain and loss cancel each other out.

Looking at freedom this way completely misses the principle. The Principle of Freedom is not concerned with possessions. He who has more possessions does not have more freedom (as far as the principle is concerned) than the one with few possessions.

The Principle of Freedom revolves around our freedom of action to obtain possessions or whatever it is we want to accomplish, do, say or think and to be able to keep those accomplishments without threat to life, limb or loss.

Person A’s goal was to own sheep and it took him a reasonable amount of labor to raise the sheep in question. The freedom that was diminished when person B stole the sheep was the freedom to enjoy the benefits of one’s labor. The thief had no labor involved so he could not steal this for himself. He could not steal the sense of accomplishment that was had by the legitimate owner.

By stealing the sheep the thief gains no skill or satisfaction of a job well done whereas the owner loses the results of his labor and his goals to grow his herd are diminished. There is loss by person A and little or no gain by person B.

The scriptures tell us that our works follow us to the next world, but our possessions do not. This is because real freedom lies in freedom to do fulfilling work and not in possession of physical things. He who has freedom to effectively labor at that which he loves can possess all he needs for happiness.

Now let us suppose that these two people were a part of a group. If person A reported the theft to the group then the feeling of safety and the ability to feel secure in their possessions would be diminished for the whole. There is less freedom in a group with a thief in their midst than a group with no thieves.

Setting up laws and punishments for theft will help to secure the freedom of each individual to work toward their goals of obtaining and securing their possessions. The freedom to work without undue restrictions to fulfill and keep your desires is essential to the Principle of Freedom.

The goal with the Principle of Freedom is then to insure that all have maximum freedom of action, speech and thought rather than possessions. Needed possessions naturally come to groups who support maximum freedom.

You mention freedom related to gay marriage, speed limits and mandated insurance.

The core question behind these and other issues is this. Does this law, regulation or action secure more freedom than it takes away?

The answer for those in groups having a lower consciousness is in the eye of the beholder and not seen clearly. These groups will have many laws thinking they are enhancing freedom when they are really restricting it. Even so, all kinds of rules and regulations are necessary for lesser evolved groups so they can slowly learn what real freedom is and to esteem it of high value.

Laws that seem satisfying for a group of low evolution would be intolerable for a highly evolved group.

When a true gathering of lights occurs the needed laws to insure freedom and safety will be much less than the counties of the world today as the laws of justice will be written in their hearts.

“Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.”

Healing 109

Healing 109

The second rule of healing:

The healer must achieve magnetic purity, through purity of life. He must attain that dispelling radiance which shows itself in every man when he has linked the centres in the head. When this magnetic field is established, the radiation then goes forth.

Johann was right in that Ruth did make a great post commenting on this. She was right in stating that an essential part of obtaining magnetic purity lies with the astral/emotional body.

DK gives an interesting take on the “sea of glass” mentioned in the Book of Revelation. He says this is a symbol of the astral body in its purified condition. The colors in the astral bodies of most people are somewhat muddy and off color because of their negative and stormy feelings. The goal of the disciple is to control the astral body by stilling the negative emotions. Then, when the astral body is clear it becomes a reflector of the higher purified feelings and thought.

As it is now in the masses, the astral bodies are so murky that the higher thoughts and feelings become greatly distorted after they filter through it. Because of this the average person sees many things in reverse of what they should be. The poor condition of the astral bodies of the people is one of he reasons that Isaiah complained that almost all were calling evil good, and good evil.

This is still the case today and few are able to discern good from evil on subtle matters. Robert spoke truly when he said, “So truth heals, it sets us free.” We can only receive that truth when the astral body doesn’t get in the way with negative static.

Purity of life applies to all three planes, the physical, astral and mental. Even though many seekers find it difficult to stay in good physical health, the astral health is even more difficult and more crucial for the emotions have a huge effect on the physical. If your emotions are peaceful and balanced then a great hurdle toward physical health is achieved.

When the physical body is healthy, the emotions are balanced and the mind is focused on loving service then the two centers in the head come in alignment and the disciple will increase in power to radiate spiritual energy and thus increase his or her power to assist others with healing.

All the rules and laws of healing covered by DK are very enlightening, but some would take a lot of time to cover so we’ll skip over to one more rule before we move on from his topic. Those interested in greater depth can read DKs major treatise on it called Esoteric Healing which is free online.

Rule Six

The healer or the healing group must keep the will in leash. It is not will that must be used, but love.

Many see great healers as using a powerful spiritual will, but here he says the will must be kept in leash. Why do you suppose that is? And why is it that love must be the focus?

What can the healer do to bring more love into the equation?

Affirmations of the Disciple

  1. Truth is the highest religion
  2. I seek to speak the undistorted truth at all times.
  3. I use the Law of Correspondences. Truth corresponds with truth. As below, so above with a twist.
  4. Maximum freedom equals maximum light and love and power for all.
  5. All humans are from the same Source, share the same soul essence with a destiny to embrace each other with love. I send love to all who are willing to receive.
  6. I am not alone. I am eternally connected with my Source and all life and seek to consciously re-establish those connections.
  7. True authority comes from the voice of God within, not someone without who claims to represent that voice.
  8. I am a Being who is Becoming and am responsible for my destiny.
  9. Like attracts like. I seek to gather with the lights and throw light upon those who dwell in darkness.
  10. I extend goodwill and friendship to all my brothers and sisters throughout the world.
  11. I understand that the seeds I sow today shall be reaped tomorrow. I therefore sow and nourish good seeds.
  12. I seek to assist all my brothers and sisters to speed their journey home to our Source.

Healing 108

Healing 108

We do not have much dialog that took place between Jesus and the people he healed. The Bible makes it sound like people just came to him and he spoke the word and they were healed and that was all there was to it.

What is not recorded is how long the various healings lasted. Just as many today experience miraculous recoveries and then have the illness return, I’m sure that not all of the healings of Jesus were permanent.

Jesus had an interesting encounter with ten lepers. Here is the account from chapter 133 of the Aquarian Gospel

17 And Jesus, all alone, went to the feast by the Samaria way; and as he went through Sychar on the way, the lepers saw him and a company of ten called from afar and said,

18 Lord Jesus, stay and speak the Word for us that we may be made clean.

19 And Jesus said, Go forth and show yourselves unto the priests.

20 They went, and as they went their leprosy was healed. One of the ten, a native of Samaria, returned to thank the master and to praise the Lord.

21 And Jesus said to him, Lo, ten were cleansed; where are the nine? Arise, and go your way; your faith has made you whole.

22 You have revealed your heart and shown that you are worthy of the power; behold the nine will find again their leprous hands and feet.

Here we discover that one seeking healing, even from master, must do more than just receive and bask in the healing. Only one out of ten took the extra step for himself to make the healing permanent. He gave thanks and glory to God and showed that he was “worthy of the power.”

To be worthy of the power the one being healed must follow that ancient truism to “know thyself.” Both the healer and the one being healed must “know the inner stage of thought or of desire” of the one seeking healing. Unfortunately, the patient is often unaware of his own inner workings and these must be brought to light by the healer.

So, how does the healer discover the inner thought and desires of the patient so the person can be restored to health?

There are three ways.

(1) If the healer knows the patient and has a history with him then he has had time to observe the person and assess where the problems lie.

(2) The healer can ask the patient a number of questions that will assist him in finding the problem. This is helpful even if he knows the person.

Since I am a handwriting analyst, I also look at the handwriting for clues. Emotional suppression is an important one to look for.

(3) Intuition. Not many are sensitive enough to diagnose with intuition alone, but a certain amount of intuitive assessment is very helpful.

When the cause and the effect of the disease is assessed then the healer should relate it to the patient and seek his cooperation in neutralizing the negative energy. The healer may first give the patient some instructions that he needs to follow to set his life in order before he attempts a permanent healing.

Then when the cause of the problem and its location is understood, as well as the solution the healer can attempt a permanent healing. He can use a number of methods to send energy to the center related to the location of the problem

Here is the second rule of healing:

The healer must achieve magnetic purity, through purity of life. He must attain that dispelling radiance which shows itself in every man when he has linked the centres in the head. When this magnetic field is established, the radiation then goes forth.

If you have any ideas as to how this rule works out in a practical application please comment.

If I’d known I was going to live so long, I’d have taken better care of myself.

Global Warming Mistakes

Global warming alarmists want us to give them trillions of dollars so they can supposedly fight global warming as they live in luxury. If we do not do this we are doomed.

Why should we trust these clowns who are not as accurate as monkeys throwing darts at predictions?

Examples:

Al Gore predicted that the North Pole would be “ice-free” in the summer by around 2013 because of alleged “man-made global warming.”

The 2005 UNEP predictions claimed that, by 2010, some 50 million “climate refugees” would be frantically fleeing from those regions of the globe.

“New York will probably be like Florida 15 years from now.” — St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Sept. 17, 1989

Paul Ehrlich predicted in 1970 that half the world’s species would be extinct by 2000, and that all would be extinct by 2025.

In June 2008 ABC News Warned NYC Will Be Under Water by 2015

James Hansen, the most quoted climatologist, gave predictions that in the1980s have been off 400% on temperature and over 1000% on sea level rising.

(Because of warming by 1996) “The Mexican police will round up illegal American migrants surging into Mexico seeking work as field hands.” Michael Oppenheimer of the IPCC

In March 2000, David Viner, of the Climatic Research Unit claimed that in the UK “Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past.”

Health 107

Health 107

The questions

What do you suppose DK means by “good”? How does being good and harmlessness give one the power to heal?

Speaking of good, the few souls who attempted to comment on this rather esoteric subject gave “good” answers and demonstrated “good” thinking. Now here is my two cents worth.

We have talked a lot about good and evil here, but there always seems to be more insights to be achieved. DK appears to be linking or associating good with harmlessness. A key word representing this thought is harmony which synchronously also starts with “harm”. Perhaps it could be said that harmlessness and harmony both neutralize harm.

Imagine a good pianist skillfully playing beautiful music on a well-tuned piano. Those listening will be basking in sweet harmony. Beautiful harmonious music can lift the downward focused eyes to the soul and lift the person above the cares of the world almost to an alternate dimension of enjoyment with thoughts completely taken away from earthly cares.

On the other hand, just let a three-year old kid pound away on the keys for a moment and you’ll hear a cacophony of sound that is almost hurtful to the ears – something you wouldn’t identify with harmlessness.

The first instinct is to tell the kid to stop, or maybe grab him and pull him away so the torture will end.

From this perspective, good is that which is harmonious and evil is that which is out of harmony.

The Aquarian Gospel, chapter 23, gives some beautiful words of Jesus about harmony:

5 The laws of nature are the laws of health, and he who lives according to these laws is never sick.

6 Transgression of these laws is sin, and he who sins is sick.

7 He who obeys the laws, maintains an equilibrium in all his parts, and thus insures true harmony; and harmony is health, while discord is disease.

8 That which produces harmony in all the parts of man is medicine, insuring health.

9 The body is a harpsichord, and when its strings are too relaxed, or are too tense, the instrument is out of tune, the man is sick.

10 Now, everything in nature has been made to meet the wants of man; so everything is found in medical arcanes.

11 And when the harpsichord of man is out of tune the vast expanse of nature may be searched for remedy; there is a cure for every ailment of the flesh.

12 Of course the will of man is remedy supreme; and by the vigorous exercise of will, man way make tense a chord that is relaxed, or may relax one that is too tense, and thus may heal himself.

13 When man has reached the place where he has faith in God, in nature and himself, he knows the Word of power; his word is balm for every wound, is cure for all the ills of life.

14 The healer is the man who can inspire faith. The tongue may speak to human ears, but souls are reached by souls that speak to souls.

That last sentence gives us the most important key as to where harmony must be found. It is found in soul speaking to soul and to make this possible the lower self must be in harmony with the soul.

To become an expert in harmoniously playing a musical instrument takes a lot of practice yet many think they can be one with their soul by making a quick decision and going for it. This is not quite the case. To become proficient at the harmony of the soul also takes practice.

And where can seekers practice if they are not even sure if they have made contact?

Lots of places.

Practice with your loved ones, your friends, family, fellow workers. Practice with our lesser brothers, the animals, and all life that is encountered. Practice being harmonious so that others will want to be in your presence just as people want to be in the presence of a harmonious and skillful musician.

When the seeker reaches a point where life is magnetically drawn to him or her then the soul will also feel it is time to connect and bring the person to a new level of harmony, good and harmlessness.

It is interesting that a tuning fork, when struck, can cause a nearby tuning fork to vibrate with the same frequency. One musical instrument when played will have an effect on other stringed instruments. This is called the principle of entrainment.

It thus makes perfect sense that the healer who is in harmony with his soul and other lives around him will have a healing effect through his mere presence.

The good, which is the harmony of soul makes disharmony obvious and “drives evil from the form in time and space.”

In addition to laws of healing DK speaks of rules. Here is Rule One:

Let the healer train himself to know the inner stage of thought or of desire of the one who seeks his help. He can thereby know the source from whence the trouble comes. Let him relate the cause and the effect and know the point exact through which relief must come.

So, in your own words how does the healer find this exact point and what does he do once he finds it?

Quality is a tremendous filter. Cream always rises, my friends, no matter how many cups of coffee you pour.
