I think I struck a nerve by posting some information I found on Annalee Skarin from the web that put her in a negative light. I also gave a web address of the believer that you mentioned. That puts her in a positive light.

I think it is important that we look at both sides of any claim and make our only religion the truth wherever that leads us.

Some seem to see the quote I posted as if it has my full endorsement. I may also quote the New York Times, but I am always open to the possibility that something in that paper or any other source may not be true.

A reader says something that interests me about Annalee. He says that she never claimed to be translated, but her followers do.

Why would you believe something of her then that she never even claimed for herself?

Do you believe her death certificate was faked? If you believe that she was indeed translated or resurrected why do you believe this?

I have given pros and cons on a number of books and have gotten some lively discussion because of it. I believe we should always be open to the possibility that our favorite sources may not be quite as perfect as we at first thought.

I do know this, that even if some of my favorite books such as those by Lobsang Rampa and Baird Spaulding were deceptions to a degree, that does not take away from the truth that I gleaned from them. Even if Rampa was a fake, he still taught me how to see auras. This does not justify the deception but it does verify that when truth and error are passed by the soul the soul can reveal the truth to the seeker.

If Annalee was translated that is fine by me, but I do not see much evidence pointing to it. Whether she was translated or not she did leave behind some very helpful writings and that is the main thing of importance.

As far as walk-ins go the questions is how could a person be a walk-in and not know this to be the case?

The answer is quite simple. It is the same reason we are born here on the earth not knowing who we are even though we all existed before birth. When we incarnate as babies we start with a clean slate and virtually know nothing in the beginning. All we have is our developed intelligence we brought with us.

When a person walks in a body vacated by another all he has for memory is the computer brain of the body he is now using. He is also wired for the similar personality and habits as the entity who departed..

After the walk-in the new entity will realize that a change in some of his thinking and attitudes has occurred but he will chalk it up to the idea that he just made a change in his life just as many other people before him have. As time goes on the new entity will feel a little like a stranger in a strange land and grow out of the old person programmed into the brain and into who he really is with a sense of the mission he came to fulfill.

No, I’m not a walk-in if anyone wants to know.

Does the walk-in principle violate free agency?

Would it violate one’s free agency to give your car away to another person when you believe he can put it to better use than yourself?

Of course not. Your car is not you and it would violate your free agency to be forbidden to give your car away if you desired to.

Even so, our bodies are not who we are. Instead they are vehicles that we use. A person giving his body to another for a higher use can be a great act of free will.

The Dark Brothers copy the brothers of Light with the difference that free will is not respected. The Dark Ones and low-grade entities are willing to possess another’s body against their will. This corresponds to the car thief who would steal your car, a much different thing than the situation where one gives his car as a gift.

The person who gives up his body is not usually so low that he is suicidal, but may be in a situation where his life seems to be at a dead end and has ceased making any progress. In this case, he may be approached on subtle levels by an evolved entity with some similar but higher qualities and asked if he wants to trade positions, for this particular disciple sees an opportunity to accomplish a great good in the situation that seems frustrating to the other soul.

One of the main advantages of the walk-in is that it saves a disciple 20 years of childhood and maturing. He enters with a complete grasp of the language and with a reasonable education ready to begin his mission.

Some have expressed doubts that we switch sexes periodically.

In the worlds of form there is male and female, but our essence, our intelligence that makes decisions is neither male nor female. This is hinted at in the scriptures:

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ.” Gal 3:28

There is no way for us to know all things and understand all things without the experience of both sexes.

I have taken many people back into past lives and the person was often a different sex in the past. Hundreds of others who have done regression have had the same experience.

Probably the main reason for doubt here especially among the Mormons is how this fits in with the concept of eternal marriage. Others who believe in the Twin Flame or Twin Soul idea may have the same question. I will be talking more about this as time permits.

Overshadowing and More

I was asked about the Shroud of Turin.

As far as this goes, I have not put a lot of energy in contemplating it and do not have an answer one way or another. If I had to guess I would say that science itself has a mission with regard to it and will eventually prove the truth of the matter.

If it is the true shroud of Jesus then the full story may be revealed when science has done all it can do. But first the Vatican has to be more cooperative with additional testing.

Someone asked about the writings of Lobsang Rampa. I’m not sure if all his personal experiences he relates are true, but there are a lot of teachings in his books that are very stimulating. It’s not a bad idea to read several of his books before you advance to Alice A. Bailey.

I learned to see auras by using his teachings so I at least proved to myself that he knew what he was talking about in that area.

His teachings of the oversoul are not quite accurate. The true oversoul for humans is the higher life that permeates the whole human kingdom as a whole. In addition to this there is the oversoul of the whole planet and the Ancient of Days is the representative of this. Through the use of this oversoul he can be omnipresent on this planet and commune with his own Father/Teacher who is the Solar Logos.

The Ancient of Days is called the Great Watcher because he spends a high percentage of his time “watching,” from his secret place, the progress of the planet and all the lives on it as a whole. Through the principle of omnipresence (as far as this earth goes) he focuses on the beginning and the end and the power of his thought is picked up by the billions of lives, (sometimes ever so subtlety). Thus through the magnetic power of his thought and the focus of attention all things gravitate toward the end product of the decisions he has made. All that happens between the beginning and the end not even he can predict, nor does he desire to. His focus is always with the end in mind and all lives through free will eventually pick up the signals and fall in line.

When Christ comes again the Ancient one will focus attention on him and also humanity as a whole much more than he has in the past. Thus from a higher point of view the Ancient of Days will come as spoken by Daniel. Some may also have visions of him. He has no plans to incarnate on the earth until the final or seventh root race evolves on the earth. He will most likely initiate the final race of androgynous humans that will walk the earth as Gods compared to current humanity. Thus he incarnated as the first Adam and will eventually come back as the Last Adam.

Some teach that we split into several entities, or become fragmented. Such is not the case. We were all created through the process of “reflection” or as the Bible says made in the image of God. As entities we can join with others and create an oversoul for a group, or a group life, but it is not necessary for us to concentrate on finding pieces of ourselves so we can become whole while in physical incarnation. The fullness of the Godhead is within us and we can manifest all the powers of godliness by cultivating the Spirit of God within us. As far as our relationship with our Higher Self goes, we only represent a fraction of its total consciousness when incarnated in the physical realm.

The principle of walk-ins is a true principle and is different from an overshadowing. A walk in usually happens when an advanced soul sees an opportunity to accomplish a great or good work. He then finds a person of compatible vibration who is discouraged with his life and makes a deal to exchange places. The frustrated person gets some lifting of karma through his cooperating and moves on to the Spirit World. Then the disciple completely takes over the body. This has happened many times to change the course of history. Abraham Lincoln was one famous example.

With an overshadowing you have two entities in one body. The original entity still has the power of decision over the body, but he is so committed to his Master who is with him that he follows all instructions that are passed on to him. If he does not, or the mission is not successful for some other reason the Master will leave and do other work.

A true overshadowing is usually testified to by a second witness. For instance, John was the witness to the overshadowing of Jesus for he saw the Spirit descend and “remain” in him and thereafter testified to his disciples about the coming of Christ.

A reader asks about this scripture”

“And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?” Luke 2:49

So what Father was this he was speaking of when he was but a boy not having had the ordinances?

JJ: The Father/Son; Teacher/Student relationship is the same. When Jesus was speaking of his Father at age twelve this was the disciple Jesus speaking of the Christ who was to come. Even though he was not completely overshadowed until about 30 years of age the young Jesus had a connecting link with the Christ and received much communion from him before the overshadowing. Before the overshadowing the Christ was also a “Watcher” and focused a lot of attention on Jesus.

A reader questions the idea that a separate entity descend on Jesus at his baptism, believing the orthodox version that it was merely he Holy Spirit.

Concerning John it is written:

“For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.” Luke 1:15

If John was filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb then surely Jesus was too. The Holy Spirit is a universal presence and is available to all who seek it within and was already with Jesus before the baptism.

Let me repeat my comment on the overshadowing of Jesus:

As we examine the scriptures we see that the meaning is far different than imagined for John gives us a leading clue: “This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. AND I KNEW HIM NOT: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I coming baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. and I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, UPON WHOM THOU SHALT SEE THE SPIRIT DESCENDING AND REMAINING ON HIM, THE SAME IS HE WHICH BAPTIZETH WITH ‘THE HOLY GHOST. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” John 1:30-34.

John saw “the Spirit” descend and remain with Jesus. Now since the Holy Spirit is universal and Jesus was already in communion with it, as was his cousin John, then what was the Spirit that came down and “remained” with him?

Jesus said quite clearly over and over that it was not him that was doing the great works, but the “Father” that dwelt within him. This Father was the Spirit of Christ that John witnessed descend and remain in Jesus.

Jesus even said point blank that there were “two men” who bore witness of his mission – he and his Father within him.

The Christ, who was Melchizedek in a past life, was the overshadowing entity. There was a link with the Ancient of Days, but not an overshadowing.

A reader expressed concern that members were placing me on a pedestal for adulation and that I was using deceptive tactics. Some complain that I charge for my physical books.

I am not aware of manipulative of deceptive tactics. Are you just picking these words from the ethers or are you just looking for a fight? I do not believe anyone who has been on the group for a while thinks that way of me, not even my skeptics.

Yes, I do have a book for sale, but it is a stretch to call that a deceptive thing to do. Why don’t you go pick on Steven King?

Must I apologize because I cannot always afford to give the physical book away for free? I have however given away thousands of the first book away free of charge.

I do not think anyone in the group has adulation for me. I do believe some appreciate me and I appreciate them in return.

Not so. All of us have the same promise. Jesus said:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if ANY MAN (or woman) hear my voice, and open the door, I WILL COME IN TO HIM, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Rev 3:20

There are probably no single scripture I can give doubters to prove the overshadowing principle, but there is a way to find the truth of all things and it is found in the Book of Mormon that you hold so dearly.

“And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

“And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.” Moroni 10:4-5

One important key here is to “ask with a sincere heart, with real intent.” I would also add to ask as a little child. Forget everything you know and ask as a “little child” that knows nothing, but just wants the answer.

I teach the overshadowing not as some theory or something I believe because of a book I have read (and yes others have written about this), but I teach it because the principle has been demonstrated to me with great power to give me a witness so I can teach with knowledge and surety having no doubts about it. You can receive a sure witness also if you will but ask God in the name of Christ with an open mind really wanting to know.
