Ringing Cedars Books, Part 2

Ringing Cedars Books, Part 2

After Vladimir gets home he dabbles in business and then finally gets around to writing the book. He can’t find a publisher and with a little help publishes it himself. The book turns into a great seller and he begins to receive all kinds of positive response. Apparently, there are many poets still in Russia as he receives many poems dedicated to Anastasia.

Various authorities apparently believe Anastasia is real and attempt to lure her into the real world to study her. She doesn’t want to go and they attempt to take her by force but are not successful.

After about two years he takes off on another trip to the Siberian taiga to see Anastasia again. He finds her and his son his who now a toddler. She doesn’t want him to interact directly with him as she has specific methods used in raising him and anything he does would just contaminate the kid. He doesn’t like this but cooperates.

He finds that the kid loves to inspect and play with insects, bugs and animals. Anastasia explains to him that he can learn much more from a bug than an expensive toy or the most sophisticated computer because a bug is more complex than anything man has made.

In the middle of play a great eagle landed upon the boy and grabbed under his armpits with his talons and flew off with him. He went high above the trees until the boy and the eagle were just a dot.

Vladimir was astounded, first that the boy seemed to not fear but enjoy the experience but was afraid for his life.

Anastasia calmed him down and explained the same thing happened to her when she as a child and it was a consciousness raising experience. She said the boy was safer with the eagle than a passenger is on an airplane.

A short time later the eagle returned the boy and then went off to die as he was at the end of his days.

Another highlight from the books was Anastasia’s teaching and demonstration of her ability to teleport. She first demonstrated how she could teleport herself short distances and then explained that she could project herself to any place in the universe. In fact, she had already traveled and explored many other star systems.

She explained that in all the universe that humanity on earth is the only creation that is in the image of God with unlimited potential. There is life on other planets and some in human form but none of them have the God spark within that the earthling does.

Vladimir asked about any advanced beings she might have visited and she responded by taking him on an astral journey to such a planet. There they observed their manufacturing plants built right into the planet and would automatically draw substance out and manufacture whatever the residents need.

Anastasia told him that the machine they were looking at could pick up his thoughts and told him to visualize something and it would be manufactured. He visualized a car he once owned and sure enough the machine spit one out. The trouble was he did not visualize completely enough and some parts were missing such as one of the doors and was not complete enough to function.

Their interference alarmed the authorities and they came to check out the apparent malfunction and were mystified by the creation of the incomplete car.

Anastasia then showed Vladimir how the people lived and he discovered that they were kind of like Vulcans from Star Trek. They were fairly emotionless and did not use sex to create children because they did not have the love and emotion to desire each other. They had very advanced technology and were totally dependent on it.

She said that humans were superior in that they could accomplish with their own natural powers more than these people could do with technology. She said that technology is making us lazy and diverts us from relying upon our own powers.

Next, she showed him something quite ominous. He discovered that they were planning on invading earth. Then she projected him into the future and what he saw was very close to the plot of the television series “V”.

They came apparently in peace with a willingness to share their technology, but they really wanted to enslave and control the people. Their plan was to make them so dependent on technology that they would not realize their own powers and that in reality earth people are much more powerful than they are. She was not clear on their ultimate aim.

Vladimir asked if there was anything we could do to prevent the invasion. Anastasia told him that she was powerful enough herself to supply 50 percent of the strength necessary to defeat them. Apparently we just need one more like her, or a group with her powers to defeat the whole bunch.

This account was made in Book 4 and she never mentioned the threat of invasion again in the five books that followed. I found that kind of curious since they were presented as a threat to our destiny. You’d think she would want to give more instructions on defeating them when they come.

Next to going back to nature perhaps the thing most stressed in the books is the idea that children are much smarter than we give them credit. Anastasia tells us that adults do much to hamper their development. We do this by implanting a limited belief system and directing them toward limited learning activities rather than maximum ones. If they are treated like intelligent beings and given the freedom to explore and learn on their own then they will achieve much more.

Vladimir describes a school that is using avant garde methods nurturing children toward higher education.

Perhaps the most interesting description of powerful children comes from a vision given him by Anastasia of the future where nations will lay down their arms. It will come because of children, one child in particular. The book doesn’t make it clear whether this is a probable future or one set in stone and the invading aliens are missing from the picture.

At some future time a scientist who works on weapons systems will have a daughter who will develop great powers of the mind. To make a long story short she develops powers to blow up weapons systems of the various nations throughout the world. Seeing that this is an opportunity to force all nations to disarm she is coaxed into demonstrating her power. Unfortunately she feels guilty that she caused explosions causing some loss of life and made a personal commitment to not do it again. The great opportunity seems lost but she pulls a trick out of the bag and uses another method. She commands bacteria to multiply and to consume the weapons. These bacteria are so powerful they can eat through steel or concrete and destroy most anything.

This causes the nations to realize that building nuclear or other arms is futile and they cease making their weapons paving the way for peace on earth.

I would assume that Anastasia would have a power like this now and a natural question is why she doesn’t do this feat to disarm the nations at this time?

Another unique teaching is that Anastasia claims that humans have been on the earth for not millions, but billions of years. She gives an unusual account of Adam and Eve but doesn’t say how many years back they existed.

Then she says that humanity has gone though million year cycles again and again. If we keep in mind that Adam was placed here over a billion years ago that would mean these cycles have repeated over 1000 times. This seems somewhat difficult to believe.

The million year cycle consists of three periods. The first is a pristine Vedic period covering 990,000 years. During this time humanity lives in peace and harmony with nature and each other. There are no governments or hierarchies, just family units living and cooperating together. Everyone has their own piece of land and are like artists making it beautiful and productive.

This is followed by a fall where humanity sets up authorities, hierarchies, laws, punishments, etc.

This then is followed by a third period (which we are in now) wherein man falls away from nature and develops technology. The technology within a few thousand years leads to a great catastrophe which wipes out civilization and most of the people A few survive and these start a new civilization where they again go back to nature and reestablish a Garden of Eden state.

This just happens over and over but she seems to present the possibility that we may reverse the trend by bringing peace on earth and returning to nature voluntarily.

These books are among the few in the new age department that says something good about President Bush. Anastasia says that there were more attacks planned on Sept 11, 2001, that were thwarted and says that Bush handled the crisis well because he had his own piece of land in Texas that he retreated to and renewed himself on his own land.

She tells us that each person needs to write a history of his own life. She places a lot of emphasis on ancestors and that our descendants would love to read our journals to understand us and how we live.

This sounds a lot like the teachings in the Mormon Church where each member is advised to write a “personal history.” Contrary to what Anastasia says though these histories are usually extremely boring and many of them are read by a very small number if any at all.

An exception is the autobiography written by my Father, but he did not write his because the church told him to. In fact he was not even a member of he church. Instead, my sister asked my father to write a personal history of himself.

I think she asked this more to fulfill church obligations than thinking something of real interest would develop.

Well, my father took her request to heart and instead of writing a drab recollection he wrote a quite exciting and fascinating autobiography. It stands head and shoulders above any ‘personal history’ I have seen written because they are commanded to write.

Personal journals can be valuable if one is living through historical times. Many early Mormon journals are fairly boring but they do include historical tidbits that are used by historians. The same applies to many personal writings and letters during the Civil War and other historical times.

There’s a lot more in these nine volumes but these are some of the highlights. If you do not want to read the whole series then books one and four are the most interesting.

Ringing Cedar Books

Ringing Cedars Books

There is a series of books by a Russian author named Vladimir Megre that has sold 10 million copies and is making a big impact on the world so I thought I would make a few comments.

One of the reasons this caught my attention is Djwahl Khul predicted that a great new religion would come out of Russia. Therefore, anything that may develop into a religion from that area is worth checking out. So far this is the closest thing available that could fulfill the prophecy.

The interesting thing about the series of nine books is that it is quite similar to “The Immortal” in that the man meets with a supernatural character who teaches him the material for his books. But where I say that my books are a combination of fact and fiction he maintains his is all true, though he does seem to give hints here and there that this may not be the case.

The series starts out with the author in search of a special wood called “ringing cedar” that is created from rare cedar trees that actually emit a ringing sound and has healing properties. (Another correspondence here to the ringing bells in my books.)

In the Siberian wilderness he came across a beautiful young blond female who lives in the wild. Her name is Anastasia and she is quite the gal. She speaks to animals and all the animals and plant life there are dedicated to serving and pleasing her. Her parents died when she was young and she pretty much raised herself in the forest with a little help from animals and her grandparents.

After spending a little time with her, even though he was married, he was so captivated with her that he made a romantic move in her direction. Suddenly he was overcome with some supernatural force that stopped him in his tracks. He found he could not invade Anastasia’s space without her permission.

As the story progresses Vladimir discovers that this female has all kinds of powers and knowledge. She has superhuman physical strength and agility and more. She has power to teleport herself anywhere in the universe. She has visited many worlds and familiar with all that goes on upon the earth. Even though she lives in the wilderness she can access anyone’s thoughts or project herself to any location. She can speak any language and has read many books through powers of psychic reading.

Her main message that she wants to send to humanity through Vladimir’s books is the importance of getting back to nature and live as did the ancients. She says that man has been here for billions of years and has destroyed himself many times and then started over. During most of our existence we lived in harmony with nature and each family had their own piece of land that they cultivated with their own hands.

She says that to save the world we must go back to this type of living again — that each person or family should have one hector of land — which is approximately two and a half acres. This she says is plenty to take care of a family if they work the land themselves.

She maintains that by growing our own food we place our own energy in it as we cultivate it and this makes the food much more health giving.

She then gives tips on what we can do to increase the healing potencies of our garden foods. She says to place the seeds in your mouth for nine minutes before planting and then water the plants with water in which you soak your feet. She maintains that this allows the plants to tune into your body’s specific needs and produce food that will heal anything wrong with you.

Then after a time of getting to know each other Anastasia warms up to Vladimir and decides she wants to have his son. They make blissful love and she becomes pregnant. Before he leaves Anastasia tells him to write a series of books about her. He then leaves her in the wilderness and returns home and starts writing.

I’ll add more comments in a future post. In the meantime, here is a synopsis of the nine books:

“Anastasia,” the first book of the Ringing Cedars Series, tells the story of entrepreneur Vladimir Megre’s trade trip to the Siberian taiga in 1995, where he witnessed incredible spiritual phenomena connected with sacred “ringing cedar” trees. He spent three days with a woman named Anastasia who shared with him her unique outlook on subjects as diverse as gardening, child-rearing, healing, nature, sexuality religion and more. This wilderness experience transformed Vladimir so deeply that he abandoned his commercial plans and, penniless, went to Moscow to fulfil Anastasia’s request and write a book about the spiritual insights she so generously shared with him. True to her promise this life-changing book, once written, has become an international bestseller and has touched hearts of millions of people world-wide.

“The Ringing Cedars of Russia,” the second book of the Series, in addition to providing a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the story of how Anastasia came to be published, offers a deeper exploration of the universal concepts so dramatically revealed in Book. It takes the reader on an adventure through the vast expanses of space, time and spirit — from the Paradise-like glade in the Siberian taiga to the rough urban depths of Russia’s capital city, from the ancient mysteries of our forebears to a vision of humanity’s radiant future.

“The Space of Love,” the third book of the Series, describes author’s second visit to Anastasia. Rich with new revelations on natural child-rearing and alternative education, on the spiritual significance of breast-feeding and the meaning of ancient megaliths, it shows how each person’s thoughts can influence the destiny of the entire Earth and describes practical ways of putting Anastasia’s vision of happiness into practice. Megre shares his new outlook on education and children’s real creative potential after a visit to a school where pupils build their own campus and cover the ten-year Russian school programme in just two years. Complete with an account of an armed intrusion into Anastasia’s habitat, the book highlights the limitless power of Love and non-violence.

“Co-Creation,” the fourth book and centrepiece of the Series, paints a dramatic living image of the creation of the Universe and humanity’s place in this creation, making this primordial mystery relevant to our everyday living today. Deeply metaphysical yet at the same time down-to-earth practical, this poetic heart-felt volume helps us uncover answers to the most significant questions about the essence and meaning of the Universe and the nature and purpose of our existence. It also shows how and why the knowledge of these answers, innate in every human being, has become obscured and forgotten, and points the way toward reclaiming this wisdom and — in partnership with Nature — manifesting the energy of Love through our lives.

“Who Are We?” — Book Five of the Series — describes the author’s search for real-life ‘proofs’ of Anastasia’s vision presented in the previous volumes. Finding these proofs and taking stock of ongoing global environmental destruction, Vladimir Megre describes further practical steps for putting Anastasia’s vision into practice. Full of beautiful realistic images of a new way of living in co-operation with the Earth and each other, this book also highlights the role of children in making us aware of the precariousness of the present situation and in leading the global transition toward a happy, violence-free society.

“The Book Of Kin,” the sixth book of the Series, describes another visit by the author to Anastasia’s glade in the Siberian taiga and his conversations with his growing son, which cause him to take a new look at education, science, history, family and Nature. Through parables and revelatory dialogues and stories Anastasia then leads Vladimir Megre and the reader on a shocking re-discovery of the pages of humanity’s history that have been distorted or kept secret for thousands of years. This knowledge sheds light on the causes of war, oppression and violence in the modern world and guides us in preserving the wisdom of our ancestors and passing it over to future generations.

“The Energy Of Life,” Book Seven of the Series, re-asserts the power of human thought and the influence of our thinking on our lives and the destiny of the entire planet and the Universe. Is also brings forth a practical understanding of ways to consciously control and build up the power of our creative thought. The book sheds still further light on the forgotten pages of humanity’s history, on religion, on the roots of inter-racial and inter-religious conflict, on ideal nutrition, and shows how a new way of thinking and a lifestyle in true harmony with Nature can lead to happiness and solve the personal and societal problems of crime, corruption, misery, conflict, war and violence.

“The New Civilisation,” the eighth book of the Series, is not yet complete. The first part of the book, already published as a separate volume, describes yet another visit by Vladimir Megre to Anastasia and their son, and offers new insights into practical co-operation with Nature, showing in ever greater detail how Anastasia’s lifestyle applies to our lives. Describing how the visions presented in previous volumes have already taken beautiful form in real life and produced massive changes in Russia and beyond, the author discerns the birth of a new civilisation. The book also paints a vivid image of America’s radiant future, in which the conflict between the powerful and the helpless, the rich and the poor, the city and the country, can be transcended and thereby lead to transformations in both the individual and society.

“Rites of Love” — Book 8, Part 2 (published as a separate volume) — contrasts today’s mainstream attitudes to sex, family, childbirth and education with our forebears’ lifestyle, which reflected their deep spiritual understanding of the significance of conception, pregnancy, homebirth and upbringing of the young in an atmosphere of love. In powerful poetic prose Megre describes their ancient way of life, grounded in love and non-violence, and shows the practicability of this same approach today. Through the life-story of one family, he portrays the radiant world of the ancient Russian Vedic civilisation, the drama of its destruction and its re-birth millennia later — in our present time.

THE AUTHOR, Vladimir Megre, born in 1950, was a well-known entrepreneur from a Siberian city of Novosibirsk. According to his account, in 1995 — after hearing a fascinating story about the power of “ringing cedars” from a Siberian elder — he organised a trade expedition into the Siberian taiga to rediscover the lost technique of pressing virgin cedar nut oil containing high curative powers, as well as to find the ringing cedar tree. However, his encounter on this trip with a Siberian woman named Anastasia transformed him so deeply that he abandoned his business and went to Moscow to write a book about the spiritual insights she had shared with him. Vladimir Megre now lives near the city of Vladimir, Russia, 190 km (120 miles) east of Moscow, devoting himself to writing.
