Soul Vibration

Soul Vibration

Question: What does vibration have to do with like attracting like and complements attracting?

The expected answer is that like attracts like because of similarity of vibration. While this is true this answer is not complete enough to provide a full picture.

For one thing all of us have a similarity of vibration on some level. As you know we live in three worlds of form: The physical, emotional/astral and mental. Each of our bodies co-existing in these spheres is governed by one of the seven rays. In addition, the personality as a whole is governed by one of the rays as well as the soul and the monad.

If two people’s mental bodies were both on ray four there would be a similarity of vibration in this sphere and both would be interested in applying the intellect toward creative expression and both would have a tendency toward some of the same tastes.

The point is that each of us has some similarity of vibration even with people we cannot stand. On the other hand, no two of us have a uniform similarity of vibration with each other.

Like attracts like applies on two major levels. The first is the personality. The vast majority of humanity experience their attractions on this level.

When two meet and sense a like vibration in one of the bodies, and they focus on this instead of differences, there will be an attraction resulting in friendship. If the two focus on similarities in their astral bodies, then romantic love can result.

The higher level of attraction is through the soul. If two people with soul contact have a relationship, it will be greatly enhanced if they have several of the rays in common, especially the soul ray. But the essence of the soul has a universal similarity of vibration that stimulates love, hope and faith. Those with soul focus will have a great attraction to others with such focus, especially in this world where soul infused personalities are a rarity.

It is interesting to observe how the principle of “like attracting like” works out when applied to those centered in the personality as they relate to those centered in the soul.

At first the personality centered individual may find some similar vibrations that attracts him to the soul infused person, but sooner or later differences will loom before his eyes. He will especially sense the difference in vibration between the soul and the personality and he will not understand it. Because he does not understand he will often hate the soul infused one — sometimes becoming his mortal enemy.

On the other hand, the soul infused person will be mildly attracted to the personality person but will realize the vibration of the soul is missing. No relation can draw his full power of attraction unless the soul of the two is involved. Once the soul is touched, the personality relationships have little value or attraction to the seeker.

Question: What is the difference of vibration as it manifests as spirit, matter, light and sound?”

Yes, these all have different vibrations. Sound is generally seen as the lowest of vibration. Light is scientifically much higher and spirit, which is not recognized by science, is higher still. Matter, on the other hand, consists of many vibrations with many speeds going on all at once. On earth we have very slow vibrations such as the slow oscillations of the planet itself to movements approaching the speed of light within the atom.

When we think sound, we think of sound that we can hear with the ear, but there are many sounds beyond our hearing. There are sounds that can be heard by children but not adults. There are sounds that can be heard by animals, but not humans. And there are sounds beyond the range of the physical hearing of any living entity on earth.

The same goes for light. When we think of light, we think of light we can see with the eyes, but there are many grades of light in existence we cannot see. On one hand, we have the infrared which has too low of a wavelength or vibration to be seen with the human eye and then, on the other, we have ultra violet which is too high of a frequency to be seen.

These vibrations just relate to the physical, but in the higher worlds there is also sound and light with a vibration so high that it would stagger the imagination of the orthodox scientists.

Question: What does it mean when it is said you respond to the vibration of another person? What are you really responding to?

The full meaning lies outside the idea of mere similarity of vibration, but more toward a focus on similarities. When an attraction occurs something usually happened first to stimulate the attention so the two focus on that which is similar rather than the differences. We respond to vibration, but first there must be focused attention on that vibration.

Contemplate on this seed thought:

“In the beginning was the word, the sound, the vibration, the light and the form.”

In the beginning the Purpose of God was projected as a wavelength which was a symbol of the Trinity of creation. All symbols are words, therefore, in the beginning was the Word.

This Word multiplied until the life of God was immersed in sound.

Frequency increased until many vibrations produced differentiation.

When differentiation reached a point of tension, light and form appeared simultaneously.

Question: Why do you say that the soul infused person will find little value in personality relationships when you also say that we can fall in love with anyone by looking at their soul?

My teachings have been consistent on this. The soul infused personality keeps his mind centered in the light; has removed illusions that block the view of the soul, and is ever conscientious about following the soul.

Even though the personality-centered person is polarized in the lower nature he is still under the influence of stepped-down soul energy. Soul energy is stepped-down an octave or two and manifests as romantic love and other feelings in the emotional body.

Even though the personality-centered person does not actively seek soul energy and is not polarized in it he can open the door to the unfettered soul through unselfish love for another person. Thus the average person can fall in love and in that state see only the good, the beautiful, and the true for long enough to manifest the love of the soul.

Because he or she is not soul infused he will shift out of the soul and deal with his mate on a personality level most of the time. Their relationship will depend on similarity of interests (more than soul energy) to keep them together, even though love may open the door to the soul from time-to-time.

Question: Will a marriage succeed if a soul infused person marries one in the personality?

Generally, it will fail and the person who will be most frustrated will be the personality-centered one. He or she will feel their soul infused mate is stubborn and does not love and respect him/her and become more angry and bitter until the relationship collapses. This person cannot handle the fact that his mate does not deviate from soul purpose which is not understood by the personality.

If the personality-centered person cannot be jolted back into the soul from time-to-time, the relationship will fail. The soul infused person should have a mate who is sensitive to soul energy or the relationship will be a nightmare and he would be better off to remain single. Two personality people can be successfully married if their interests and values are similar but they will not share the deep spiritual sharing that can be had by two who are soul infused.

“After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.” — Aldous Huxley (1894 – 1963), “Music at Night”, 1931

Like Attracts Like

Like Attracts Like

Does the fact that opposites seem to attract contradict this principle of like attracting like??

Actually, the core principled that makes both of these work is the same. There is spiritual life and essence in all things whether there is like attracting like or two beings who hate each other. In both cases the spiritual essence lives in a state of oneness with the Source. The difference is that the like which is attracted to like has eyes open to the soul because differences are not getting in the way of seeing this spiritual essence. The two who hate each other still have that essence within that is attracted, but the attention on differences throws up a veil so the essence is not seen and no attraction results. Instead, repulsion occurs.

Seeing the soul causes vision of similarities and seeing the differences causes vision to overlook the soul and only see the separation.

In the case of opposites attracting something else happens. The differences are seen, but the focus is still on the soul and not the outer differences. In this case seeing the differences does not create greater separation. Because the soul is the point of focus the differences will be seen as a part of the whole rather than a separation from the whole. The differences will be seen as complimentary and stimulate loved and appreciation rather than hate and disgust.

Magnetism is activated when oneness as seen through the eyes of the soul. When oneness is seen as the state of joy at the end of our journey then the consciousness of two beings will have an interplay of energy that indeed creates a magnetic force.

We’ll call these two principles that of “affinity and compliments.” These two are part of a greater principle that bring the many back to the one.

These principles largely determine whether our future will be heaven or hell.

Heaven or hell in this life is largely determined by the people and associations that come into our lives. If one does not look through the eyes of the soul his consciousness will focus upon differences that divide and he will attract people to him with annoying differences. His life will thus be hell on earth, and in the next world he will be around entities of a similar negative focus to his own, and will not be stimulated by many degrees of consciousness as we have here on earth.

The person focused on the soul will draw to him others like himself, which will be a pleasant or heavenly experience, because the love of the soul will be shared. This heavenly sharing will be amplified in the next world because unloving people will not have access to interfere with the love of the soul as they attempt to do here on the earth.

The greater principle governing affinity and compliments is the law or principle of vibration.

What does vibration have to do with like attracting like and compliments attracting?

What is the difference of vibration as it manifests as spirit, matter, light and sound?

What does it mean when it is said you respond to the vibration of another person? What are you really responding to?

Contemplate comment on this seed thought: “In the beginning was the word, the sound, the vibration, the light and the form.”

Concerning vibration DK said this:

“The sensitivity of the mechanism of the soul to spiritual vibration has to be cultivated and existing sensitivity to lower psychic impressions has to be tuned out; so many voices clamour for attention, so many impressions emanating from the physical and astral forms around us register upon our consciousness, that the vibrations and sounds coming from the subjective and spiritual world are lost and not registered and recorded. You will find it interesting to note, at the end of a few years, the difference in the data recorded and the development of sensitivity to the right kind of impression. This can only be realised after much time has elapsed and much spurious material has been eliminated, after being recognised for what it is: astralism, spurious claims and thoughtforms.” (Discipleship in the New Age,” Vol 1, Pg 15, by Alice A. Bailey)

DK here gives us some good advice. Contemplate this and expand upon it by asking:

“What does my own vibration have to do with contacting higher spiritual vibration? Am I to alter my vibration, manifest an existing vibration, create a new one or what?”

Contemplate what you must do with your own vibration to contact one that is higher.

Reader Question: “It’s quite possible that I did get some contact with a higher life/soul/whatever, but threw the baby out with the bath water. What if that which you once would have called “the highest you know” is something that in retrospect looks like a mistake? Are you correct now, or were you correct then? Anyway, I’d rather not have to wait until a future life to get another shot at it… so, this topic is very, very interesting to me.”

JJ: Following the highest you know is never a mistake, even though the choice made may be entirely incorrect on hindsight. The mistake would be to make a decision not in alignment with your highest perception or worse yet, do nothing.

It’s a little like this: A traveler has three paths before him but only one leads to the desired destination. He listens to opinions from fellow travelers, but the choice is not clear. He makes his best guess and proceeds. After a short distance he discovers that he chose the wrong path. He retraces his steps and chooses again. This time he chooses correctly.

His first choice was a wrong choice, but it was not a mistake. Why? Because the making the decision, right or wrong, was the right thing to do. It was a necessary act to find the true path. A necessary step is not a mistake.

I was in the Mormon Church in my younger years and on reflection the highest I knew back then involved many errors. BUT, because I was true to myself and followed the highest I knew I was lead to seeing through many illusions and made numerous corrections.

Now in a higher cycle I still follow the highest I know. Is all I see and teach perfection? Of course not. As time progresses, I will see more and fill in more missing pieces that will bring higher vision still. May we all do the same.

One of my favorite quotes from DK  sheds further light on vibration:

“Students would also do well to ponder on the distinction between the breath and the Sound, between the process of breathing and of creating directed vibratory activity. The one is related to Time and the other to Space and they are distinct from each other; and (as the Old Commentary puts it) “the Sound, the final and yet initiating Sound, concerns that which is neither Time nor Space; it lies outside the manifested All, the Source of all that is and yet is naught. (No thing. A.A.B.)” Rays and Initiations, Pages 54-55

It is interesting that breath is related to time and sound to space. This corresponds to Einstein’s fourth dimension of Space-Time.

Then the third creative force “is neither Time nor Space; it lies outside the manifested All, the Source of all that is and yet is naught.”

This would be the energy I have called Purpose.

Deep question: How is breath related to time and sound to space?

“I love my past. I love my present. I’m not ashamed of what I’ve had, and I’m not sad because I have it no longer.” — Colette (1873 – 1954), “The Last of Cheri,” 1926

Contemplation and Seed Thoughts

Contemplation and Seed Thoughts

I have said numerous times that contemplation is the highest form of meditation. Instead of letting the mind go blank and seeking peace and formlessness the seeker finds a phrase, idea or thought to plant in his mind. Instead of nothingness leading to bliss and peace he experiences a stirring of thought leading to higher thought.

Liken your consciousness to a pool of water. If there is too much stillness stagnation is the result. If it is always in motion then the water will never be pure but always mixed with impurities.

It takes the right mixture of stillness and motion to produce the purest water.

It takes the key of judgement in the seeker to balance the stillness and the motion of thought to see the highest light, feel the fullness of love, and to be consumed with the fire of Purpose.

That said, contemplate the principle behind contemplation itself and put it into action by first planting the following seed thought:

“In order to ascend above all things, I must first descend below all things. Am I ascending or descending? Am I increasing or decreasing? Where am I on the cycle of Becoming? Do I have a direction? What is it?”

Now contemplate the above seed thought and see what comes.

Question: “I noticed the tingling sensation in the third eye is the buildup of energy. I also noticed that the energy is not always there but that I can build it up when I meditate and breath in and out and the energy returns. Would I be correct in assuming that with this energy build up, this would be the best time to contemplate or plant our seed thoughts?”

JJ: Not necessarily. Such sensations indicate that new energy petals are opening up and this is a time for adjustment. During this transition time it is often more difficult than usual to contemplate. Try to follow your soul as to how you meditate during this period and do not overdue it. Concentrate instead on adjusting to the energies until they feel normal and do not over-stimulate the centers where these sensations are occurring.

As far as the dream state goes — to understand this we must understand what happens at sleep. During sleep our mental vehicle leaves and goes to other spheres. Because it is not connected to the brain during sleep there is no memory of what we did in this body upon awakening. However, our emotional body is still connected to our physical during sleep and because it feels instead of thinks we have dreams representing feelings without logical thought connected to them. This is why dreams are so nonsensical. Some put a lot of attention on lucid dreaming by drawing some mental energy into the dream state. This can actually take away some attention of the mind from its activities in higher spheres. A better course is to follow the mental body out of the physical during sleep by concentrating on the third eye and staying focused in your mental self as you fall asleep.

I have said that contemplation is the highest form of meditation and some have disagreed with this. The reason for the disagreement is because of a narrow view of the range in which contemplation can be used.

Contemplation is used on many more levels than staring at a flame or putting attention on a key phrase. If one sees contemplation as something to be used in a narrow spectrum then yes, it would seem right to question my statement. But, on the contrary, there are many facets, levels and octaves of contemplation.

In the past, teachers have given students various assignments to contemplate. It may be something simple such as contemplating flowers and bees or something in nature, to one’s breath to a key phrase of some kind.

All these are well and good and have their benefits but they are merely steps to jump start the seeker into the habit of contemplation so he can learn to initiate on his own and move ahead to higher levels.

The highest thing a teacher can do for a student, as far as contemplation goes, is to give him or her seed thoughts and encourage them to be planted in the highest levels of his consciousness with the idea of sprouting forth new and useful knowledge. Success requires planting contemplating and focused attention. “Hold your mind steady in the light” is a good seed thought to ensure success in dealing with this principle.

So, what then are the higher levels of contemplation to which the student should aspire?

He is to contemplate the formless from which creation and form will come. The next step is to move beyond the black-and-white words planted in the mind and seek to understand the principles behind the words. He is to contemplate ideas and principles followed by the form they will take when manifested.

Where does an idea come from and how is it grasped? An idea itself has no form, but as soon as it enters the mind of the seeker many forms spring forth before the inner mind and if the contemplation continues the principles involved in the idea will come to the understanding and creation will be the end result.

The creation of the universe began with an idea that was contemplated by Divine Intelligence. When thought was sustained through contemplation the principles involved in creation became understood and the result was manifestation — the creation of the world you and I inhabit.

Contemplation of the higher principles in the formless worlds causes many a seeker to be absent-minded, as the world calls the term. Many great thinkers in our history have had this problem and did not realize that the only cure was to stop contemplating in their waking hours. Fortunately, Einstein, Tesla, Edison and other greats were not bothered with a little absentmindedness and gave out many gifts to the world.

Through contemplation all can become a giver of good gifts.

Question: What is the IDEAL, formless, seedless, objectless meditation DK refers to in this quote?

“Only when all forms and the field of knowledge itself are lost sight of, and the knower recognizes himself for what he essentially is (being lost in contemplation of his own pure spiritual nature), can ideal, formless, seedless, objectless meditation be arrived at.” Light of the Soul, Page 101

DK here is talking about contemplative meditation (“being lost in contemplation”) which I call a positive meditation as opposed to the negative meditation which is passive where the student just lets go and empties himself.

He is talking about a state that few have arrived at — the highest which the student can aspire in his foreseeable future, but not the absolute highest.

To arrive at this state the student must first master the art of contemplation. He starts with focusing his attention using many of the standard methods taught in the world. Many current students have mastered the basic attention step in past lives and are ready to concentrate on seed thoughts. When they have learned to make seed thoughts expand through contemplation then they are ready to go to the Buddhic plane and higher where “black-and-white” seed thoughts are not used but the seeker plunges his contemplative skills into the formless where he realizes his oneness with God. Here he senses the Oneness Principle and the understanding of all principles are available to him. When he withdraws from the formless his physical brain will register some of the principles that passed through his contemplative self and his consciousness and understanding will be enhanced.

In the formless there is no black-and-white seed thought but there is still seed and that seed is whatever is there to be experienced and discovered. Your soul will bring down to the physical brain that which is needed in the physical reality.

Most of the great discoveries that have been grasped by mankind have been through formless contemplation. Einstein was sometimes so lost in thought on his walks that when he came back to the physical, he didn’t know where he was where he was. He was lost in formless contemplation and when he came back his physical brain only registered a small portion of what he experienced, but that small portion was a large portion for mankind.

That which was referred by DK is contemplative meditation and does not take you to the astral world. That which can open up the astral world is non contemplative negative meditation with no seed. This type of meditation will take the seeker to his own level. If he is astral (which most people are) it will take him to the astral level. However, through contemplation an astral person can reach up to a higher level than normal.

He is pointing toward a goal toward which the disciple should aspire, but each disciple must realize that he must take a step at a time and cannot achieve mastery in one flying leap. The one giant step toward liberation is an astral delusion that sidetracks many seekers for long periods of time. It varies from the Christian who thinks he has found the ultimate salvation to the new ager who has found the ultimate dimension or consciousness.

The last veil of illusion is withdrawn when the disciple, through contemplation, realizes his true nature as being one with God. For most such believers this is an academic thing, but to the one who knows it is an understanding that cannot be fully communicated to those who do not have this realization.

I received  some pushback from the previous  comments to which I replied as follows:

To make any sense from this discussion one must ask this question: What benefits am I seeking from meditation?

Do you just want to smell flowers, or perhaps something much loftier as in creating flowers? Perhaps that would involve creating flowers that have never been and sharing beauty that has not before been comprehended.

If one merely wants to smell flowers then the negative meditation of letting go and focussing on the now and the stillness works fine. But if one wants to do something greater as in creating the flowers (or some other creation) then he must contemplate. If one desires to create then contemplation is the highest form of meditation.

Even in this the seeker must use the two forms of the art. He must plant a seed or seeds into the still dark soil of the mind and the formless higher realms. Then he must water this soil with his focused attention. Then in a period where he relaxes and rests in a negative meditation the seeds sprout up and grow as if on its own. The seeker then examines the new plant and guides its creation and learns therefrom. He thus shares in the joy of creation.

Can we expect anything greater from any meditation than pure joy?

Nay.

This is why contemplation is the highest form of meditation, for without contemplation the highest joy cannot be found.

“Joy settles within the heart But has winged its way from the secret place within the head. I am that bird of joy, Therefore, with joy I serve.” — Djwhal Khul [DK]

The Principle of Brotherhood

The Principle of Brotherhood

What is brotherhood and the principle behind it?

Who do you suppose the Brotherhood of Light calls its members (females included, of course)?

Why is the recognition of the brotherhood of all humanity a key ingredient to bring peace on earth and goodwill to all humankind?

Brotherhood is the recognition that we all came from the same source, which is God. Each of us are the offspring of God and made in His image. Because of this family relation we have to each other we can and should see the same divinity in our brother that we see in ourselves. True brotherhood though is a two-way street. It can only exist in fullness when the two become one by recognizing their true relationship with each other.

The principle is thus the mutual recognition of coming from the same source and giving the same potential for growth.

Brotherhood seen in one direction is helpful, but true peace on earth cannot be had until the principle is returned. One of the missions of disciples over the next couple hundred years will be to teach the principle of brotherhood. This will be done by emphasizing the teachings of brotherhood found in every religion. If the religious ones of the world just live up to the teachings of their various prophets, then real two-way brotherhood can become a reality.

The reason that all (both male and female) are called brothers by DK, who represents the Brotherhood of Light, goes beyond the fact that they are in a sending situation relative to us.

The reason for this is found in the words of Jesus:

46 “While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 “Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 “But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 “And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Matt 12:46-50

Here Jesus was trying to emphasize the unity behind all human life. A person is not a brother because he is a member of your physical family, but we are all part of a universal family and in a deeper sense all are family, if we could see it.

The real reason that the two terms brotherhood and sisterhood are not used to differentiate is because differentiation is not desired. Two “hoods” would tell us that the are two competing family relations, possibly competing with each other for superiority. To avoid this division one term is used,

So why was brotherhood selected instead of sisterhood?

The answer is this. Sisterhood refers only to the female gender whereas brotherhood refers, in the esoteric sense, to a relationship that applies to both sexes. True brotherhood is the recognition that we are in the same spiritual family no matter what sex we are.

DK even crosses the species barrier with the word and calls our pets “our little brothers.” I found that to be a very endearing phrase.

Question: How responsible are young children for their actions and do they accumulate karma?

DK taught that the child becomes self-aware at age 7 and Joseph Smith taught that he becomes accountable at age 8. Whatever the case it is around this age that the child recognizes right and wrong and feels responsible for his decisions.

Even though a child becomes accountable around this age he still needs a lot of guidance so he can obtain a sure footing in life. A twelve-year-old is wiser than an eight-year-old and a 16-year-old is more enlightened than a 12-year-old. The entity progresses until around the age of 21 where he gains back the basic intelligence from his previous life.

It is true that others who are negative influences share the blame for bad decisions of others, especially young people, but the one who makes the bad decision still bears the brunt of the responsibility. Each of us has to learn to be able to live in a negative environment and yet still tread the path of light unwaveringly.

Anyone who is past the age of accountability will incur karma if he hurts another person. The buck stops at the decision maker. Even so I believe that in some cases for young people the karma of a negative act is often a shared responsibility between a person who set a bad example and the youth himself. After the age of 21 we are more likely to be fully responsible for our actions.

As to dealing with a problem or even dangerous child goes, one must examine the situation on a case-by-case basis.

There are several things usually applicable.

[1] Teach and show them love and acceptance.

[2] Give them the discipline needed to steer them in the right direction.

[3] Get professional counseling when possible.

[4] There are numerous books dealing with this subject. Keep reading them until you get the problem under control.

“The universe is not hostile, nor yet is it friendly. It is simply indifferent.” — J. H. Holmes

The Principle of Time

The Principle of Time

Questions on Time:

What is time and the principle behind it?

What is the difference between time and timelessness?

What’s the relation between time and consciousness?

Time is motion in the worlds if form and the rate at which time passes is determined by the rate of conscious perception. The reason our smallest standard unit of measurement of time is a second is because it takes about a second for the average person to register an event in his consciousness. Now we can perceive an event that takes place in as little as about a 64th of a second, but it still takes about a second to register it in our waking consciousness.

In other words, one cannot see 64 images in one second and register them all in that second. We can generally only register one.

But let us suppose that you could register 64 images in one second. Because your consciousness sped up time would slow down. What would seem like a moment to a regular human would seem like over an hour in your quickened state.

The sped-up state does not represent higher consciousness but usually lower consciousness. For instance, have you notice how little lives seem to react very quickly? When you spot a mouse and it flees it reacts quicker than any human. Then watch the insect world. They react exceedingly fast. The reason is that they are registering events quicker than we are and consequently live in a different time reality.

The heartbeat of a living organism is very closely linked with time. The faster the heart rate the more rapidly time passes, but this has the effect of making an hour or a minute seem longer.

You can experiment with yourself on this. Rest for five minutes and read a book or watch TV. Because you are at rest your heart rate will be slow and time will proceed at a normal pace. Now go run for five minutes and get your heart rate up to double speed. I assure you that the five minutes of double heart rate will seem like ten minutes when resting.

People joke about dog years and cat years, but they are indeed different. The life of a dog seems to last as long to it as the average life of a human. Then if we examine the macrocosm, such as planet earth, its heart would beat once in what would be years to us. Some say the earth’s heart beats once every 25,000 years. This would give one an idea of how a planetary life may register time which is much different than the lives within it.

Time is also dependent on size for when one is reduced in size the amount of distance traveled is less. Think back to the Grand Tour in my book “Eternal Words” and how consciousness had to adapt to new time perception as size was reduced. We can see this somewhat in our own lives. Remember when you were a little tyke and how long a day seemed to be, particularly the night before Christmas. That seems to a kid like three days to an adult. This is not just caused by imagination but reality.

Older people also complain that time seems to go faster. It is interesting that their responses are also slower. But their response rate does not seem as slow to them as it does to their young friends because the two register time differently. They have recently done experiments on this and have shown this to be true.

Time also exists in the worlds of form we enter after death, but the reckoning is different. Even so, time moves forward in the physical, even though physical time is not measured there.

The question arises as to whether there is time in the formless worlds. When seekers enter the formless through mediation it seems as if they have entered a timeless state. This seems to be true, but is not quite true. No matter what state one enters time is always passing in the worlds of form.

To understand in part consider the passage of time when you are in a dreamless sleep. Your consciousness is in the formless, but time is still going by and when you awaken you are not sure how much time has passed but you have a rough sense of it.

Consider this. Form comes from the formless and thus time does also. Time therefore exists in the formless as the motion of divine thought and the movement of energy. A certain movement of energy in the formless would correspond to a certain movement of time here on the earth.

Conclusion:

The principle behind time then is motion, and its rate of passing is determined by the consciousness that perceives it.

“When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people. But in a democracy like Israel, there is a wide range of opinions and that counterbalances the disappointment that I have in not meeting with the people shaping Israeli power now in the government.” — Jimmy Carter

Crystallization, Heaven & Dark Brothers

Crystallization, Heaven & Dark Brothers

A reader referred to my previous comments on DK’s teachings that most people crystallize around the age of 56. I have commented on this several times and I believe I have taught the figure was somewhere around 90%.

I expanded on this and said that crystallization is linked to our Saturn cycle of approximately 29.5 years and many crystallize as early as the first Saturn cycle. They learn what they need to know to make a living and pretty much cease life changing learning from that point on.

Now that I am sixty-three (written 2008) and have watched many associates through the years age, I can certainly see that this is a true principle. I learned the truth of it around the end of my first Saturn cycle so that has given me some decades to observe it.

Yes, I am still learning many new things and principles and hope to as long as I am privileged to continue in the flesh.

As far as crystallization goes identifying it can be illusive for the crystallized person can still learn data, but he is very reluctant to alter his thinking, see newprinciples or start in a new direction.

One easy way to identify some older people who are crystallized is that they will refuse to learn about computers or other new-fangled gadgets.

Finding Heaven

Question: Shouldn’t we just find heaven right here on earth and do we not pass through seven planes to get to heaven?

I agree with you that we should indeed find heaven on the earth. After all, some of us live here as much as 25% of the time. Creating a pleasant situation is also important for that other 75% of existence when we are out of the body.

The 25 percent refers to life on the physical plane and the 75 percent refers to life after death, or between lives.

There is no percentage that fits all as some people are out of incarnation for thousands of years and others hop right back in the physical.

The point is that since we spend more time out of incarnation than in it, we do not want to ignore the necessity of making heaven for ourselves on both sides of the veil.

A good rule of thumb is this. If you have found heaven on the earth then after you die heaven will follow.

Unfortunately, many people on the earth have not found heaven, but will freely admit that their life is a living hell. If their suffering is from physical pain then that will generally cease at death, but other types of emotional hells will follow to a future life unless they solve the problems that create the discomfort for them.

As far as going through seven levels to get to heaven goes. This is not something I have taught. There are seven planes but one can find the kingdom of heaven and live in it in any of these planes. All seven were created by God and are divine and have a divine purpose.

All people are consciously living in at least two planes now, which are the emotional and physical. Many live in three planes the physical, emotional and mental. A handful consciously live in four or more. We do not pass through the planes, instead, we become aware of that which already exists around and in us.

Question: What is the benefit of harmony through conflict? Doesn’t conflict lead to more conflict and death?

I’ve had lots of conflict in my life, but it has led to liberation and peace, not death.

Harmony is not achieved by force. This is suppression, which is not harmony, but the furthest thing from it.

The harmony that comes through conflict is a manifestation of love. In any relationship mistakes are made, and there are hurt feelings. When those feelings are suppressed or denied then love is also suppressed and denied. During the suppression there may be the appearance of peace, but suppression is not peace. Finally, when the person is honest and tells of his feelings a certain amount of conflict will result. If both parties are seekers of the soul, then the negative energy will dissipate and harmony and love will be the end result.

Negative energy does not amplify when sent toward one who is soul infused. It will merely pass through such a person and be as if it never was as far as he is concerned.

This principle has many applications. This is just one of them.

Dark Brothers

Some seem have a strange view indeed of light and dark.

They seem to see the Dark and Light brothers as two kindly, but bumbling folks that are playing checkers with each other and the only difference is strategy. The truth is far away from this idea.

Most who look for the two brotherhoods among average humanity will never find them. All but aspiring disciples and higher are moving along the left-hand path — the path of least resistance. It is only when soul contact is achieved that the movement to destruction is reversed. The good part is that almost all do reverse their direction and chose the path least traveled by when greater light comes. These eventually join with the Brotherhood of Light.

A handful resist the direction of the soul and these continue on the path to destruction until all their sheaths are destroyed and they start all over again in the world of time and space.

The main difference between the two is their approach toward freedom. The Brotherhood of Light seek maximum freedom for all whereas the Dark Brothers seek freedom for themselves at the expense of others. They are happy to enslave those who do not support them.

All life is interdependent and we all feed each other in one way or another. The difference between light and dark is this:

The Brotherhood of Light make an even exchange. They serve and give to their disciples and the disciples serve and give back to them.

The Dark Brothers seek to be served as the top priority and are only of service to anyone below them when it serves the selfish purposes of their lower nature. They seek to take more than they give and thus create an imbalance.

A high percentage of humanity just drifts ignorantly along the left-hand path. That does not make them Dark Brothers but it does make them useful to them. It also makes the job of the Brotherhood of Light very difficult because they can only use the few who have resisted the path of least resistance and chosen the path less traveled by. The job of the disciples is to present ideas that go against the grain of the majority in an attempt to lift them up to the light and away from the control of the Beast and the path of darkness. The disciples are like Galileo telling the ignorant masses that the earth is not the center of the universe. The masses under the influence of the deceived authorities reject this and fight against the light.

A traveler can only enter the ranks of one of the brotherhoods when he sees clearly the two paths and makes a conscious choice as to which one, he wants to take.

The final result is the opposite of the beginning of the path. For the first part of the journey all ignorantly follow the left-hand path, but on the last part of the journey all but a few switch over and knowingly follow the path of light. Only the most stubborn and selfish of souls become committed Dark Brothers. But even though their numbers are few their power is great because over 90 percent of humanity are presently flowing in their direction. Another thing that gives them power is they have many advanced selfish souls to work with through which they can manipulate humanity. Many of these eventuality return to the path of light and only the worst of them knowingly continue on the destructive left hand path. Think of Darth Vader who changed at the end even though he seemed past the point of no return. The emperor, on the other hand, was too far gone to make the return.

Question: Aren’t protons monads and will not the Cern collider destroy lives or potential universes?

The lives in the subatomic universes are asleep in that sphere and their past intelligence operates on automatic pilot like a great computer program. The lives of the sub-universes have transferred their active intelligence to this one and are seeking expression here in this time and space.

No, a proton is not a Monad. A Monad is a dimensionless point in the space of the divine plane and evolves to a sun called a human being in the physical.

Question: Could you expand on what you mean by living in two planes?

I mean that the average person is aware of both his physical and emotional feelings and is capable of understanding the difference between the two. We all are aware of physical existence, but we all experience an emotional one too. It is just not visible to the physical eyes, but is felt as much or more than the physical. For instance, almost all understand the difference between the pain of romantic rejection and the pain from dropping an anvil on your toe.

Now most believe they understand the thinking world of the third plane, but for the majority this is merely the work of the physical brain at work in connection with the emotions.

True mind which is represented by the power of pure logic and reason and independent of outer authority is only active in about 10 percent of humanity — and even with many of these the state is embryonic.

“And in that day when you drop an anvil on your toe, take no thought as to what ye shall say, for the words will be given unto you.”

Becoming And/Or Being

Becoming And/Or Being

This is actually two related principles — Being and Becoming.

Question: What is the definition of these two states and the difference between them?

Answer: To put it most simply I would say this. Becoming is the act of moving ahead with a decision to be actively involved in the creative process. To Become is to create.

To enter the state of Being one merely rests from the creative process. Being is basically rest and relaxation (R&R).

Question: What is the basic principle that explains these two states?

Answer: Basically, it is the night and day or the two cycles of the creative process of existence.

Question: Some say we should concentrate on just “Being.” Where is the correct emphasis that we should place on these two states?

Answer: Do we want to rest all the time or work all the time? Neither. We want a balance of the two.

Question: All things manifest in Trinities. Is there a third state? What is it?

Answer: This is an interesting question that takes us into territory not covered by most teachers –.

Many enter into the restful state of Being during meditation and the rest is so blissful that it is assumed to be our final most desirable state. Few realize that Being in this existence is merely a vehicle for rest. The time to take a long rest is when the creative workday is done in time and space. To take more than a short nap in the middle of the creative day is folly. Take the nap when the work is done.

One member presented the idea that there are several states of being and this is true. There are also several states or degrees of Becoming, but neither of these is the third state.

The third state cannot be achieved in this existence.

Let us use the Law of Correspondences and examine our three states in general living. The first is our general waking state (Becoming) and the second is our sleep state (Being). Where then is our third state?

It is death.

We cannot be dead to the body while we are living in the body. Even so we cannot enter the third state while living in this existence anywhere in the seven planes.

What then is the third state?

A reader used the right words: “Not Being.”

In the beginning of our existence in this universe the call went forth to all monads:

“To Be or not to Be. That is the question.”

Those who responded to the call came forth and experienced “Being” and “Becoming.” This is sometimes referred to as their spiritual creation, though they had an eternal state of ‘not being” before this.

Those who did not respond are still in the third state of “not Being.” They exist, but just in an abstract esoteric level and will one day choose “to Be.”

Those who chose “to Be” cannot go back to “not Being” though they can take a detour by choosing  the dark, left-hand path that leads to the destruction of all the sheaths and clothing of existence.

Thus, even though Being is often presented as a state of nothingness those who teach such know not what true nothingness is. True nothingness (as far as this reality is concerned) is the state of not Being that cannot be entered when one is linked to the physical, astral, mental or energy bodies. If you are here living on the earth, you have not experienced “not Being” since you have decided “to Be.”

Question: What state does the meditation process create?

This takes us into Being but sooner or later Becoming dominates again. The advantage of such meditation is they become aware of Being, even as they evolve through Becoming. The disadvantage is some enjoy Being so much they want to focus there all the time. This will delay their progress in the end.

Question: Is the great rest just a esoteric level now? Where does the life principle fit into this?”

JJ: We have the great rest of pralaya, but before that happens, we still enter into cycles of lesser rest.

In the worlds of form Becoming dominates and Being is in the background, so to speak.

When we go out of form into pralaya then Being dominates, but Becoming is still there but in the background.

The life principle is always active, but just manifests differently while duality is at play.

Question: Why would anyone choose the dark path that leads to the destruction of our sheaths?

JJ: It is difficult to believe until you examine the actions of many humans.

For instance, many religions teach that if you commit adultery you will burn in hell for all eternity. Even so, many who believe this will still willingly go ahead and have an affair anyway. When you think of it, the limited pleasure you get from an affair does not compare in any way to an eternity of burning in hell yet many take the plunge. Fortunately, the burning in hell is not a correct belief.

Those who take the dark path are not quite as illogical as those who risk eternal punishment. They do give in to the immediate pleasures that pure selfishness will bring, but they have kind of a pyramid scheme going where it appears the winners or top producers can continue indefinitely. They all meet the same fate of destruction in the end, however and go back to the state of Not Being. Eventually they will come back into Being but a very long time will be lost.

There seems to be some confusion between the left and righthand path. The left-hand path is the path of selfishness that denies the soul and creates a reality devoid of soul, so the soul is eventually as if it does not exist. These people can speak of love, light, the will of God and have order, but their reality is not linked to the soul causing a loss of life force holding their sheaths together and eventually they disintegrate and go back to “Not Being.”

The right-hand disciple seeks the soul and higher realms and receives eternal life from them and thus can continue exploring and learning from the seven planes as long as he desires.

Question: If you were entirely becoming, how could you be in existence without being? And vice versa.

JJ: There is no such thing as being entirely in one or the other just like all of us are not entirely female or male. The word is polarization. This mean that a person is more centered in one aspect than another.

The person who is Becoming still has Being in the background and during periods of rest or meditation may enter into this state. During periods of Being one is still fomenting and Becoming, but at a slower pace through the principle of absorption.

Question: Is it even possible to go backwards in progression?

Of course, one is not going backwards when one is progressing. But when a person consciously chooses the left-hand path, he ignorantly chooses the path of retrogression and loses any connection to an increased intelligence because he loses connection with the world of the soul. The path of pure selfishness cannot take you forward toward increased intelligence. Increased cunning maybe, but not intelligence.

A bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses. —Chinese proverb

The Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama

A new reader, made a post that certainly gives a different impression of the Dalai Lama than the standard ones out there. This is unique enough information that it deserves to be in “The Archives.” See my comments afterwards.

He writes:

“Hey everyone, I’m usually the pretty silent one in this group but I received some startling news yesterday, and I don’t know of any better people to share this story with.

“My trip to go hiking yesterday was cut short due to forest fires and park rangers telling me to get lost, So, I wound up taking a random trip to this local Buddhist preserve instead that I had heard about in the area. It’s part of a westernized branch of Buddhism known as ‘Kadampa,’ very wide-spread and especially popular in the United States and UK.

“As I walked onto the grounds I noticed that the place looked almost abandoned, the dozens of monks that supposedly live and practice there we nowhere to be found. I sat down, somewhat puzzled, thinking my friend’s description of the place was mistaken. Then a lone older woman came out and greeted me. She said her prayers were answered because now she had a strapping young guy to help move around some heavy potted plants and furniture for her, ha ha.

“After my universe-appointed chores and a quick tour she thanked me. I then wondered why she was all alone here in this large place. She brought me aside, took a big deep breath, and gave a very teary-eyed explanation. I’ll give my best recollection of what I personally remember from our talk. (Some stuff may be out of chronological order but you’ll get the idea.)

“Back when the branch was started it was more or less a way for certain teachers to teach what they felt should be shared and focused upon. They were not allowed to practice this in Tibet or anywhere in the East so they ‘escaped’ to the UK, eventually the US, and over the years they re-integrated back with mainstream Buddhism. But recently what’s been happening is over in the East those who practice this form of Buddhism are being severely threatened and persecuted by the DALAI LAMA. He officially denied this branch and declared it ‘evil.’ I guess the tension between the two is nothing new, but now all who follow it or know anyone that does is receiving death threats and letters threatening them and/or their family from the Dalai Lama himself. The look of bewilderment on her face said it all at how serious the situation is.

“This has been happening for so long apparently, but all who were being accused were too scared to cry out for help in fear of being punished or worse. It wasn’t until only a few days ago that the letters crying ‘please help us, we need you’ were coming so frequently to Kadampa leaders in the west that they had to announce it publicly among their community. She told me that a couple hundred monks and nuns left on a very important meeting to find a way to save these people, protest, and beg the Dalai Lama to stop. I’m not even Buddhist and I’m even in utter shock, I can only imagine what this is doing to all those who believed and learned from this man who is going against all the world thinks he stands for.

“After hearing all this we solemnly parted ways, sent out a prayer, and I headed home. And what was sitting on my kitchen table when I got back but Time Magazine with Dalai Lama on the cover, pointing to articles praising him for his spiritual journeys and struggles. As I left I felt that weird nudge that part of helping these people is up to me, no matter how little a part it is. If this isn’t a perfect example of how mainstream media isn’t all it’s cracked up to be I don’t know what is.

“I started thinking about how we’ve reached a point in this world where the real news is no longer seen on our television sets or magazines. But from the stories and experiences of people like you and me, in emails and posts just like this. I scoured the Internet a little and didn’t find much.

“So I’m not sure if I’m the first to try and send this news out across the Internet but I’m sure I won’t be the last…

“Scary stuff. Makes you wonder what else is really going on behind all those pretty faces we see in magazines.”

To this a reader asked: “What specifically (the form of Buddhism) is it that they are/were ‘practicing’ that has caused the Dalai Lama to reject them?”

To this he responded:

“When I asked her that specific question she said it’s even more frightening because they do not know what or why, they can only guess at this point. Which is why they are confronting the Dalai Lama about it. I did some studying up on my own and this is what my theory is.

“This New Kadampa group’s current ‘master teacher,’ Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, has spent the majority of his life completely re-translating the original Buddhist texts into a form of literature more suitable for Western culture in a way they can relate and understand things that they never would otherwise. Much like re-translating the Hebrew version of the Bible. With these new understandings the students and teachers have created new meditations. These reasons are more than likely why the Dalai has renounced them.

“The popularity of these writings and amount of people in this spiritual circle is growing at such an outstanding rate, and Geshe is becoming so praised that it could possibly be seen as threatening to the Dalai. He is not just a religious figurehead but also a political leader, which isn’t always a great mix. The simplest conclusion would be the Dalai Lama is getting fearful about his status of his power, and is trying desperately to compensate.

“But these current meetings and protests they are forming now are to find out exactly ‘why.’“

JJ: I’ve always thought that the Dalai Lama was overrated as far as enlightenment goes. His light seems on par with other typical religious leaders such as the Mormon Prophet, Rick Warren or Joel Olsteen.

He’s always portrayed as a sweet gentle older man who is always seeking peace, but this presents a different side to him.

If what our reader says is true then unfortunately the Dalai Lama is only another arm of the beast using unjust authority to keep his base of power.

I do know that assassination attempts have been made on him so it is understandable that he should be a little reactionary, but even so, this type of attack does not seem justified.

If anyone in the group can dig out more information on this situation go ahead and post it.

The Principle of Consciousness

The Principle of Consciousness

This is another principle we speak of often, but rarely attempt to define.

Consider these questions:

What is consciousness?

What is the difference between higher and lower consciousness?

What is the principle behind consciousness itself?

I want you to go a little deeper into the understanding of the core principle.

To be conscious one must be conscious of something. What then are the “somethings” that make consciousness possible?

Is consciousness then even possible in the formless worlds?

Are you conscious when you are asleep and not dreaming?

Contemplate again and ask yourself:

What is the core principle that creates consciousness?

Here is more to think about.

What is the relation of time to consciousness?

Is there consciousness without time? If so, what can one be conscious of?

Let us look at the first question:

[1] What is consciousness?

Consciousness is the registration and recognition by a living entity of something that affects him. That which affects him changes him, even if it is sometimes a very small change. This something can be in form or formless, seen or unseen and moves him along the path of Becoming.

For instance, a person can go on a walk and take in the scenery, the birds, the sunset, etc. All these forms affect him and stimulate consciousness.

On the other hand, one can feel formless love or joyousness and this will also affect him and stimulate consciousness.

[2] What is the difference between higher and lower consciousness?

Lower consciousness is that consciousness which is stimulated by the physical world and the lower emotions. Higher consciousness is that consciousness which is stimulated by the heart, higher mind and formless worlds.

[3] What is the principle behind consciousness?

A reader responds saying that duality and contrast causes consciousness to exist.

Yes, it is impossible for consciousness to exist unless there is an interplay of two or more things — or a duality. The greatest stimulant for our consciousness in mortality is the interplay of spirit and matter that meet within us as soul energies. These soul energies manifest on the physical plane, but also this is the plane where they are most difficult to access in fullness. The path to this consciousness is narrow and difficult, but the reward is great.

The principle is basically the recognition, incorporation or interplay of the self, the decision-maker, with that which is not the self. This interplay produces consciousness, which affects the Thinker, the Self.

Without the interplay of the Self and the Not Self there would be no consciousness as we know it.

Now some say that the highest consciousness comes when we realize that all is one. It is true there is one life with many parts. The parts have to be seen and interplay must result to produce consciousness. This does not negate the oneness of life. Seeing the oneness of life merely enhances understanding of the many and thus expands consciousness.

[4] Contemplate the difference between no consciousness and consciousness. Do we still exist without consciousness? If so, what is existing and what does it do?

We oscillate between consciousness and no consciousness. During the great pralaya we lose normal consciousness and enter into the great sleep of God which is sometime called an awakening, but even during this sleep we have experience. During the deepest sleep we do not dream or have consciousness as we understand it, but enter into a pure state of being and refresh the life principle that sustains us for eternity. We experience pure livingness, which is the higher octave of consciousness. In this state of being we synthesize all our experience into a higher state of intelligence and awareness.

[5] To be conscious one must be conscious of something. What then are the “somethings” that make consciousness possible.

Anything that is not the knower within yourself. Duality stimulates decision, and decision expands consciousness.

[6] Is consciousness then even possible in the formless worlds?

Yes, but it is a different kind of consciousness. Some say there is no duality in the formless worlds, but our dual existence came from the formless. This tells us that the seeds of duality are in the higher worlds.

Edison did not get the idea for the light bulb by finding it on the physical plane but by ascending in his thinking to the atmic plane where every possible idea exists. There he found the light bulb and brought its duality down to us. In the formless the light bulb did not exist as a physical duality, but as an idea that requires Duality to manifest.

There is thus consciousness in the higher worlds caused by the interplay of the thoughts and divine ideas of God.

[7] Are you conscious when you are asleep and not dreaming?

We are conscious in our mental bodies during sleep but lose the memories when we awaken.

[8] What is the relation of time to consciousness? Is there consciousness without time? If so what can one be conscious of?

Time is motion of form or energy and without such motion there is no consciousness. The passing of time creates consciousness as we know it.

Even when the seeker enters the “timeless state” time still exists for he has only left time. We can go in and out of time just as we can go in and out of a building. If you are on the outside of a building the building still exists, you are just not in it and affected by it.

But even when out of time and in the formless state there is still time which is often called the “Eternal Now,” but the passing of time is not registered so it seems timeless. Time still exists as a present extending itself is considered timeless by many. We will not be able to fully understand this state until we enter back into it.

Resistance is Futile

Resistance is Futile

A reader asks this: “If pain, displeasure and unhappiness is based in rebellion (as taught by Patanjali & others) than it would imply that rebellion ought to be avoided. However, many rebellions have led to more freedoms throughout history; and the righting of wrongs. Therefore, could we clarification on this statement? Thank you.”

JJ: The answer to this lies in Solomon’s injunction that there is a time and season for all things. This would include rebellion.

There are three things against which the disciple should not rebel.

[1] He should not rebel against a situation, however bad, when that rebellion would not make a difference.

For instance, in the time of Jesus slavery was very prevalent, but did Jesus lead a rebellion against it?

No.

Did he even speak against it?

No.

Why not?

Because the time was not right. Anyone speaking against slavery would have swiftly been disposed of and no movement could have gotten off the ground.

Jesus concentrated on what could be done rather than to tackle an impossible task. He knew his teachings would eventually lead to freedom for all, but it would take time.

Even so, the disciple should not fight City Hall for the principle of it because City Hall will win and his time and energy will be wasted. That energy can be better spent in fighting a battle that can be won. Then when the disciple has a few victories under his belt then maybe he can fight City Hall.

[2] He should not rebel against what is, or that which cannot be changed. This harmonizes with Tolle’s main philosophy of accepting what is.

If your girlfriend leaves you or your cat dies you might as well accept it and move on. Cursing and crying over what happens does not undo anything. What happens, happens. There is nothing one can do to change it so the disciple must accept events as they happen and make the best of them. Cursing God or the situation only delays progress.

[3] The disciple should not rebel against the communications received through the soul. Such communications come in diverse ways to most people and they often lead us in directions that we do not want to follow. When these personal revelations are denied, ignored or resisted disease or pain will usually follow. This again causes the seeker to waste much time and effort.

So, when should the disciple rebel?

He should rebel when his cause is just, he has a chance of victory and such victory will bring greater freedom for the human spirit.

But one of the problems with many aspiring disciples is this. They made a step forward by rebelling against a beastly authority and then can’t shake rebellion out of their system. Some spend their whole life rebelling just to be rebelling and accomplish nothing in the end. The disciple needs to find his work and quietly proceed in doing it and this, more often than not, requires no rebellious actions.

More On Love

From comments made on my post on love it looks as if some additional clarification is needed.

If some are thinking of love as it is defined in religious teachings then I can see why my writing on it could have been a little confusing.

One of the limitations of the scriptures and religious teachings is that they deal with the effect of love and not the principle.

The principle of love is part of our very nature so when anyone feels it there is a knowing, even among those who are not spiritually evolved.

Religious teachings encourage acts that manifest love, but they do not tell us what love is.

Perhaps the best statement of Jesus illustrating the actual principle was found in these words:

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.” John 12:32-33

What was he saying here? He was telling us that His crucifixion that would lift Him up was going to be a great act of love that would draw all men to Him.

That power that pulls the many into the one is the principle behind love. That principle is a magnetic pull that draws us back to our source. It pulls the many back to the one and causes the divided to become a unity.

When you fall romantically in love with someone what do you want to do? You are magnetically drawn to this person and want to be as close as possible. When one falls in love he or she wants to be together not only physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually. When people first fall in love, they sometimes can’t get close enough and almost wish they could share the same body together.

When two friends share a non-romantic spiritual love, they will also be drawn to each other and enjoy sharing and unifying in all ways except with romantic and sexual energy.

In all cases love creates a magnetic force that draws two or more toward a center.

When this is understood then love can be seen as something greater than just a mysterious feeling. When it is understood as a principle then it can be applied with greater intelligence. When not understood, but just seen as a feeling then that feeling is often applied incorrectly so the end result frustrates the power of love and more division is the result than is unity.

When applied correctly the seeker will use his power of judgement to use this energy to find those who are on the same level of the love vibration as himself and unite with them. Those on a different vibration are tested to see which areas of feeling respond to a similar love vibration as his own. When similarities of acceptance to the love vibration are found then the seeds of love can be planted even in two people who do not think and feel alike.

A fullness of sharing and unity requires the two to look beyond differences and personality to the world of the soul. Unfortunately, two people who can do this consistently are rare. But the good news is that love is increasingly streaming forth into the hearts of men and the application of this principle is on the increase.

If we do not bomb ourselves back into the Stone Age, then within 150-200 years from now the brotherhood and love among humanity will be greatly increased to the extent that the new age will become a reality.
