Belief and Faith

Belief and Faith

Question: Since the soul represents the voice of God should we even question it?

JJ: The trouble is that we have two voices within. The first is a voice created by the emotional/astral self. This was that which was called in the Bible “the heart which is deceitful above all things.” This does not represent the true heart energies but is the closest thing to it until the energy of spiritual love is recognized.

Many people seek the inner voice for lifetimes and the highest they achieve is the astral voice that always leads them to upside down truths and keeps them in illusion.

The seeker must question all things, including the astral inner voice before he can find the sure voice of the soul.

Then when he first discovers the true voice he will have difficulty in accepting it as real at first and will question its reality. It is only after the true voice proves itself a number of times that the seeker finally accepts it as reliable and begins to trust it. After he has proven its reliability and trusts it the power of the voice is increased until it becomes strong enough that there is no question that the seeker is hearing the true voice when it comes.

A sure reliance on the true voice will take a number of lifetimes and for the seeker who has mastered it in the past – he will still have to remaster it in the current life – though it could be much quicker because he doesn’t have to start from scratch.

A reader quoting me: “He who masters intuition knows, and knows that he knows, and knows why he knows.” How could one really believe someone could be raised from the dead?

Martha had already seen Jesus perform a lot of miracles and this increased her faith. To her credit the inner voice confirmed that Jesus could raise Lazarus and she accepted this.

But before the seeker will master intuition he will mistake the astral voice many times for the true voice. After all, he has nothing to compare the astral voice to until he hears and recognizes the true voice.

Question:  Was  Joseph Smith killed because he did not listen or was skeptical of the inner voice?

JJ: He wasn’t skeptical of the inner voice. He knew he should have followed it but the pressure from his wife, brother and others just got the best of him and he ignored the voice to his peril.

Reader comment: For the rest of my life and the next and next one, I am supposed to question all of JJ’s teachings, all of Jesus teachings and all of the DK teachings, just in case they are all wrong?

JJ It doesn’t matter if God himself is speaking. Question anything that doesn’t make sense and seek understanding until you can make sense of a thing and have it register positive with your soul. I question DK regularly and this helps me see his teachings from a wider angle.

On the other hand, do not be so skeptical that the mind slays the real. For instance, when I come across something DK says that does not make sense I realize that there may be a part of the picture I do not see and attempt to put the picture together as whole as possible. The disciple must realize that the Higher Lives do see reality from a higher point of vision than ourselves.

Reader: If I was to continuously question that which I know is true, then I will never truly believe in myself or my ability to know truth via soul.

JJ: Use the things you are sure is true as a foundation, but every so often one must reexamine himself and question all things. I do this with myself. If I didn’t do this I would probably still be a regular church member as when I was younger I was very sure that I was on the path of highest knowledge, but because I was open to all things I discovered I was wrong and reset my compass.

However, the true principles that were confirmed by my soul when I was younger are still true today. I just needed a path correction and needed the realization that the soul only gives you the portion of a picture that you can handle at the time.

  1. “I come across something DK says that does not make sense I realize that there may be a part of the picture I do not see and attempt to put the picture together as whole as possible.”

Or, it really just doesn’t make any sense and there is no point wasting time trying to make sense of it. If I zoom out to see the bigger picture of your writings, it’s just a meandering circle that leads to nowhere, meant to waste the attention of lost minds. My soul has confirmed this, therefore it’s true.

    1. Elon Musk presented a simplified design for their rocket engines and a supposed expert with a competitive company saw it and stated that it was an impossible design and would not work. Elon’s company then built it and it works more efficiently than any engine in the world.

If you see something that seems to make no sense, yet comes from an intelligent source then it is wisdom to take a second look. You could always be wrong.

If you question why some of your posts here are d deleted it is because insults and attacks as well as being off subject is not acceptable here.

      1. Why don’t you take that same approach to the comments I make then? I know political attacks mustn’t be off subject, because you left Dixie’s comment up and theirs was no more off subject or in bad faith than mine. Why don’t you take your own advice to your group and develop some thicker skin?

Of course, I know the answer. Anything that challenges what you say in ways you don’t know how to deal with, you declare to be off topic. I’ve been observing you long enough to know better. If you would just say “I deleted your comments because because they’re leftist trash and they say mean things about my prophet Trump,” I would actually respect you more because then you would at least be being honest. What you’re doing here is trying to save face by concealing your true thoughts. In other words, being a two-face liar. If that doesn’t make sense to you, then it is wisdom to take a second look. You could be wrong.

I first found out about you in 2009. Since that year, Elon Musk and SpaceX have launched many rockets and started Starlink, an Internet service provider that millions, including myself, use. What have you and your group accomplished since then? I have asked this numerous times, and neither you nor anyone in your group can answer. I always get the runaround like this Hallmark inspiration-porn fantasy of yours, where you compare yourself to someone who has actually accomplished something. That’s delusional. You’re not Elon Musk. You’re JJ Dewey. Tell me what JJ Dewey has accomplished.

        1. Some political comments are okay, but not mean spirited insane attacks.

As to what I have accomplished – I have written millions of words shedding new light on many topics. I believe that many of these will remain in circulation after I am gone. I’ve also created a great seed group of enlightened souls. I haven’t accomplished much in your eyes or the eyes of the world, but I’m not done yet. And I’m certainly not going to quite because you are not impressed .

          1. What I said was tame compared to the things your god-emperor Trump says on the regular, so don’t pretend to me like you’re not okay with mean-spirited attacks. Your tolerance for it in the highest political office reveals otherwise. There are FOUR lights, JJ.

Most of the topics you discuss are useless. What is the practical benefit of knowing what the seven rays mean? What is the point of knowing that JFK might be the reincarnation of Alice Bailey? Why does it matter that Jesus and Christ are different beings? Are these things going to make me money? Is there any knowledge here that can serve as the basis for a new useful invention or service? Is there any conceivable practical benefit to these topics at all, beyond just being entertainment for lost minds?

Writing millions of words on pointless topics is not an accomplishment. ChatGPT can do that. The only thing it shows is how much you like to listen to yourself talk. I don’t see any evidence that the souls you have gathered are enlightened. What makes them enlightened? I can’t think of a reason. Anti-science know-it-alls, extreme right-wingers, and at least one snake-oil salesman does not make for an enlightened group of people. It’s more of a bubble, or an echo-chamber.

“I haven’t accomplished much in your eyes or the eyes of the world, but I’m not done yet. And I’m certainly not going to quite because you are not impressed.”

That’s what a teenager with bad grades and delusions of grandeur about being a rap star says to their parents, not a supposedly-accomplished man in their 80s.

          2. What do you think of Trump’s recent post of a video with the Obama’s faces superimposed over monkeys? Is that a “mean spirited insane attack”? Yes or no?

        2. Don’t see anything in this post about Trump. Please stay on subject. I have never said that Trump is a politically correct guy.

          1. This topic is about your value system. As far as I’m concerned, that is always on topic.

I’m just pointing out that you say you don’t like insane mean-spirited attacks, except apparently when it comes from the highest political office. That sounds hypocritical, don’t you think?

Just answer the question. Do you find Trump’s insane mean-spirited attacks to be acceptable? Yes or no?

Do you not answer the question because you’re ashamed of the answer?

    2. I think you must have Trump Derangement Syndrome. I make a non political post about belief and faith and you try to sneak Trump into the equation. When we discuss spiritual values readers of all persuasions can benefit, but if someone like you switches it to politics half are offended and diminishes the value of anything discussed. I did not agree with Trump making that post but it pales in significance to some of the representations Democrats have made of Trump – which I am sure was okay with you.

      1. Anyone can make up a fictional disease to label people with, JJ. Remember your own teachings: “Name calling and labeling is another powerful tool used by those on the dark side.” That’s very dark-sided of you to jump on that bandwagon. You know what else has Trump Derangement Syndrome? The Epstein Files. They won’t stop referencing him.

At least you finally give an answer though. I ask a simple question, and you were awfully avoidant about it. It’s not like it was a difficult question. I know, the average MAGA with Democrat Derangement Syndrome will say anything to save face on behalf of their glorious dear leader, but you didn’t disappoint and admitted he was out of line. That must have been very difficult for you to do. There is hope for you yet.

Nobody needs to craft representations of Donald “grab’em by the pussy” Trump to make him seem vile though. You just need to show him being his natural self, and the awfulness reveals itself pretty quickly.

“When we discuss spiritual values readers of all persuasions can benefit, but if someone like you switches it to politics half are offended and diminishes the value of anything discussed.”

I don’t know what value there is in discussing the lore of Joseph Smith, coming up with yet another interpretation of Revelation, or arguing over who best hears the voice of God. Might as well just teach underwater basket-weaving.

        1. Saying you have TDS is not name calling any more than noting that some kid has measles.

And no, it is not d difficult to sate that Trump or anyone else makes a mistake (in my opinion). I didn’t engage you on the topic because you were a million miles off topic and I usually ignore or delete such posts.

If you think my writings have the value of “underwater basket-weaving” then perhaps you should move on to something you consider to be more worthy of your time. That would be doing all involved a favor.

          1. TDS is fiction, JJ. It’s not real. It’s a label that MAGA fanatics like yourself invented and regurgitate constantly to disparage people who dare to criticize your dear glorious leader, because you have no other leg to stand on. It’s a kind of lie that gets told over and over again until you believe it. That’s typical of what cults do. They have all their official-sounding words to label things they don’t like, and they delude themselves into the fictional reality those words create. Why don’t you learn how to be a true American?

You declare this to be off topic because your politics is a source of shame, as it should be. Being a MAGA fanatic who sympathizes with white supremacists would certainly interfere with the image you’re trying to craft of a humble friendly spiritual teacher. Those with reasonable politics might doubt you and, as a result, you’ll end up in the situation you are now, where all you have is an echo-chamber of fanatics who all think basically the same things.

Bullying and criticizing people like you is worth my time, JJ. Journaling one’s thoughts can be useful, especially when it comes to dealing with people who deceptively market themselves like you. It practices the mind against diseased thinking, like what a vaccine does for the immune system.

    3. If a teacher is talking about relationships and a student wants to switch the topic to life on Mars he would definitely be out of line.

Then later if the teacher is explaining one of the parables of Jesus and again the guy wants to talk about life on Mars, then he is noted as being more than an annoyance, but someone with a problem.

Then if it happens a third time most in the class would assume he has a mental problem. They might nickname it Mars Derangement Syndrome.

This is you with Trump. Again and again when Trump is not being discussed you try inject a conversation about him.

      That is not normal.

You are outraged by Trump’s cartoon depicting Democrats and himself as animals but the mean-spirited depictions of Trump (see links) do not seem to bother you at all.

On top of that, every accusation you make against me is false. They are so obvious to my readers that I see no need in defending them.

      1. The topic was about “mean spirited insane attacks,” which you brought up, not me. If you’re going to bring that up, then any examples of your hypocrisy in that regard are relevant, like your support of Trump. As I see it, anyone who endorses a champion of mean-spirited attacks has no room to complain about them. You want to re-interpret this as being about Trump because you don’t like the shameful hypocrisy that your support of him shows.

Of those depictions of Trump you listed, did any of them come from a political office? No, it’s just the public expressing itself, and though you don’t like it, it is inherently different from a political figure doing the same thing from an office they were voted into. If you don’t like mean-spirited attacks, maybe don’t throw your support behind the guy that normalizes them. Since you did though, you have no room to complain.

What is obvious to the little echo-chamber of toadies you’ve built up does not matter. I don’t care how many people you’ve found to stroke your ego. If that’s your basis for understanding yourself, that only confirms my accusation of your little group being a cult, because that is what cults do. Those who are skeptical aren’t going to stick around to tell you, at least not for long before you start making declarations about being off topic, comparing yourself to Galileo, or falling back on the people who validate you. The only one who has, as far as I can tell, is me, so you should be thanking me for giving you a dose of reality. You’re welcome.

        1. No matter how you try to spin it you would be out of alignment on most any site with your mean spirited attacks. I’d be surprised if any group on Facebook or website appreciates your comments, though you may fit in with some extreme left wingers. I would love to come across a group (besides the Keys) where you have been posting. I doubt that you would volunteer a link. It would also be interesting to know how any groups have banned you.

          1. Sure, no problem. Here is my Reddit account. It’s where I post the most.

            https://www.reddit.com/user/DesertFroggo/

I don’t care if you or anyone else sees the things I post. I can tell, by your implicit accusation there, that you’re still upset that I peered through your Twitter activity and saw how nasty you are, and now you’re projecting your extreme image-consciousness onto me, thinking that I’ll be just as guarded about what I say on public forums. You would be wrong. Go ahead and peer through all my social media. I don’t care. Unlike you, I’m not ashamed of myself.

          2. No comment? You said you would love to come across my posts elsewhere, and now that I’ve provided, you have nothing to say?

            As usual, you’re a disappointment.

        2. You gave me a link to gaming discussion. I’d like to see you discussing philosophy of some kind on Facebook or X. It would be fun to see how others may react to your attacks. That would be interesting.

          1. I gave you a link to my whole Reddit account. You obviously took a passing glance and didn’t bother reading anything.

Bold of you to claim interest in philosophical discussion, as I have yet to see any such thing from you either. Rambling some bullshit about Jesus, DK, or Joseph Smith doesn’t count. You might as well just be a comic book fan club. The only difference is that most comic book fans actually understand the thing they’re a fan of is fictional entertainment.

        3. Sounds like you have a narrow view of what constitutes a philosophical discussion. Perhaps Chairman Mao fits in with your thinking.

          1. Wow, never heard anything like that before, except in the the script of every right-wing simpleton. That puts your originality about on par with the average redneck. Let me go ahead and guess some of your other brilliant philosophical conclusions:

            – The US is the greatest country ever.
            – White people are the greatest race.
            – “We are Charlie Kirk.”
            – Merry Christmas > Happy Holidays
            – “Make America Great Again”
            – Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.

I’m sure there are more examples of mindless regurgitated grunting I’ve forgotten about, but I’d say that captures the vast majority of your philosophy.

        4. You got one right: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”
So, if it isn’t Mao, who is your favorite philosopher?

          1. That’s not a philosophy. It’s a slogan used to bend the will of groveling serviles and feeble-minded sycophants. It is not for the thinking person. Politics is full of such slogans. Run down the list of them, and you can get just about any electoral demographic in favor of you. Another good example is “law and order.” Repeat that one slowly a few times in front of a crowd of conservatives, and they’ll cream their pants for you.

            My favorite philosopher is Diogenes.
