Earned Authority

Glad you made it back to France OK Xavier. Hope you liked America good enough to visit again.

You are right indeed about harmony through conflict. I find it interesting that some think I was complaining about the latest conflict and was not. In fact I enjoy a certain amount of challenges to my posts. It keeps life interesting and aids me in clarifying some of the teachings.

My latest effort with Zina was to illustrate that there are two sides to a conflict and both sides share the responsibility. Susan commented that some of her posts create conflict on other lists, but the difference between her and Zina is that she realized she is a cause and takes responsibility for it.

Before I comment on earned authority let me ask another question.

Most of your replies are in reference to authority as far as spiritual teaching is concerned, but earned and unearned authority applies to many areas of life.

Let us illustrate this principle by answering the following:

Give an example of an earned authority for an algebra teacher.

A Racing Car Driver.

A Comedian

How can you use an earned authority to help in your progression and discovery of truth?
