Sterling's Post

I was sad to see Sterling ridicule Rick on his web pages which is receiving considerable circulation and insinuate that he was ungodly. Maybe if he were to go through, in his next life, some of the things that Rick has gone through in this one he would be more gracious.

He also criticizes us for recognizing "Christ in us the hope of glory" (Col 1:27) and wrongfully accuses us of not having Christ as our sure foundation.

It is interesting that this criticism comes from a man who openly claims to be the God of the earth himself, the Ancient of Days who is higher than Jesus Christ. How can one who sees himself as being higher than Christ have Christ as a foundation??? It would have to be the other way around. He would have to see himself as a foundation from which Christ would build.

I would say that he is unjustified in criticizing us for any lack of dependency on Christ until he himself repents of his strong ego of seeing himself as far ahead of Jesus himself. When he realizes that the Christ is his teacher, as most of us do, then perhaps he will be humble enough to learn true knowledge.
