To Become or Not To Become

Continuing on the Beast

5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Revelation 13:5-6

We have covered the 42 months fairly well. One more thing I might add. The 42 months equal three and a half years. As someone pointed out 3.5 is one half of the number seven which usually symbolizes perfection. One more possibility here is that the Beast only uses his overt authority half the time - then the other half he doesn't have to.

We asked how the Beast blasphemed the name of God and no one has attempted to answer. I hope I still have an audience out there.

I think we ought to proceed here anyway. I know some have gotten turned off and quit because we are dissecting a chapter of the Bible here. There are many searchers out there with a bad taste in their mouth because of early upbringing, but we have an important foundation truth we are trying to establish that will provide an important key to aid with the understanding of everything we will talk about from hereon after. This foundation truth just happens to be in the Bible, but those that stay with us will see the wisdom of understanding this great mystery of the Beast.

Even though people of New Age interest are an unusual lot to teach out of the Bible, this group we have is much more open than any Bible believing group would be. One of the reasons for this is that a regular dogmatic group is a part of the Beast and the Bible itself is a tool of the Beast. These believers look on the Bible as an infallible authority and this fits nicely into the hands of the Beast.

Even Jesus has been a tool of the Beast as many times in our history the agents of the Beast have insisted that others accept their version of Jesus or die as, for instance, Cortes and his men did.

So bear with us as when we finish this subject we will go into other areas where the Bible verses will not be the main point of discussion.

Back to the question:

How did the Beast blaspheme the name of God?

Answer: The true name of God is I AM BECOMING THAT WHICH I DECIDE TO BECOME.

The chapter reveals to us that those who follow the Beast have the name of the Beast in their foreheads. Now go to the first verse of the next chapter - chapter 14 verse 1. What is in the forehead of those who sing The Song of the 144,000? Answer: The name of God.

Is this interesting or what? We are told that at the end of the age there will be two groups of people. There is a great majority of people who will have the mark and name of the Beast in their forehead, and the other group will have the Song and the name of God in their forehead.

So what is the name of the Beast? This answer will offend many people new age and old age, but the name of the Beast is I AM. The difference between I AM and I AM BECOMING was talked about somewhat in The Immortal, but for now just think about it. How does the Beast of unjust authority want you to see yourself: as I AM, standing still - easy to control, or I AM BECOMING, changing and improving and therefore difficult to control?

Let's do some word associations with the two names.

I AM Standing still - Not progressing - Creating no disturbance - Not learning - Not doing - Looking to the next world instead of this - Letting others decide for you - Not planning or controlling your own future and destiny - No initiative - No explanations for anything - No questions - No seeking or searching - No greater knowledge, you have and know all that you ever will - I AM perfect and there is no room for improvement - If you can control me today then you can control me tomorrow because I just AM. I AM an easy mark!

I AM BECOMING - The opposite of all the above and more. You cannot control me because you cannot understand me unless you BECOME with me. If you BECOME with me we push each other up the celestial ladder rather than step on one another. If an unjust authority controls me today then he may not tomorrow because I AM BECOMING. I will be the new and improved me tomorrow, and I just may control myself.

This thought sends a lightening bolt of fear into the heart of the Beast. He knows that when he hears the true name of God that "his hour is short." The Beast of unjust authority hates the name of God and seeks to instill his own version on an unthinking humanity, turning otherwise intelligent people into controllable "Beasts" of burden.

We are also told that the Beast blasphemes those that dwell in heaven. How does he do this? He takes those great souls who have served mankind and then claims to know what they would say and do if they were here. Unjust blind authority thus uses the names of the just and does that which is unjust.

The preacher may say "Jesus wants you to give me your money." This blasphemes the name of Jesus. The preacher has no idea what Jesus wants. The politician seeking control may say Abraham Lincoln would approve this bill when he would roll over in his grave if he knew his name was associated with it. The activist may say "this is what Martin Luther King wanted," when maybe that's not what he wanted at all. Thus does the Beast of authority use the earned authority of "those in heaven" to increase his unearned blind authority.

Verse 7: ?And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.?

The Beast has made war with the Saints (the sincere seekers of truth), and has overpowered them by suffocating their power to become. He forces them to conform to the status quo (I AM) or suffer to the full extent of the law.

Verses 8 & 9: ?And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

?All shall kiss up to the Beast except those whose names are written in the book of life...?

Remember in The Immortal John said to pay very close attention to how he worded things? That applies here. Notice he just doesn't say "those in the book of life" but those whose "names" are in the book of life.

How does your name get in the book of life? It gets there because your name is a living name. Those who have the name of the Beast in their forehead are not in the book of life, where there is no decision there is no life. If you are not becoming what you decide to become you are on the path of destruction and non livingness; but, if you are BECOMING WHAT YOU DECIDE TO BECOME you are alive, and becoming more alive by progressing and evolving. You are then in the book of life and will not kiss up to (or worship) the Beast.

The phrase "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" symbolizes the fact that the Christ or God in us must be slain by the Beast as part of our evolution. When we spend a period of time under the power of the Beast and seem to be apart from God, and then when we learn the truth and return as did the prodigal son, we find that Christ rises from the grave. Our true parents have never abandoned us, and our joy over the reunion with our true home is truly full.

Finally verses 9 & 10 read:

?He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.?

Someone mentioned that this seems to be the law of karma at work and so it is. It is also a Biblical proof of reincarnation, but doesn't the placement of this phrase seem out of place? Why does John bring this up?

We have all been under the authority of the Beast at one time or another - either in this life or in past lives, and have accumulated much negative karma because of it. This is the "patience and the faith of the saints" and the reason many good people have to go through so much pain and tribulation. Like Elizabeth in the book, who was a great person in this life, but a victim of the authority of the Beast in past lives, many suffer. Perhaps they, too, went so far as to torture people to death because they were an I AM that let others decide what they were becoming.

This doctrine of the Beast and the way to overcome him may be the most important thing you will learn in this life. If you learn all the keys of knowledge and all the mysteries of the universe, but have no power to decide or to become, what other fate than frustration and disintegration into death can await you?

The universal question is always before us and must be answered internally again and again: "To become or not to become - that is the question."
