Lorraine, I'm sure none in this group were offended and many including myself greatly enjoyed your posting about the fruit. I'd like to see more like it. I would say that you inspired some to try harder because of your success.

And to the group I would say that if you think you have posted something significant and you get very little comment do not be dismayed. I often get the least comment on what I think is my best material. Then I'll post something light and off the cuff and get lots of response. I've stopped trying to predict what will strike the response button and just accept whatever comes forth.

And CW, I agree that children grow up with overwhelming influences to overcome, even if soul contact is later established.

I like the words of Jesus where He said: "Whosoever offends one of these little ones, it is better that a millstone be tied about his neck and be cast in the depths of the sea..."

Concerning the name of Jesus in The Immortal Book I we are told that the entity Jesus does not even like the modern name Jesus and only uses it when He has to for identity purposes. Nevertheless, because of the thoughtform behind the name it does have a powerful healing energy that can be harnessed in connection with the power of faith.

I think we all realize the scriptures were not written in English.

The main thing I might comment about your near death experiences is that I always find them interesting. I do not think they are a sign of a great mission but they can have a profound effect. Illusions can also be experienced during the process. I know several people on the list have had them and if you or anyone else wants to relate any memories that you have had I'm sure the group would find that interesting.
