Prophets

A seeker wrote me and made this comment:

"All the 'prophets' I have met so far claim that they are the only true ones, and the rest are false and of the Devil.

"If you know at least a couple of contemporary prophets who accept each other and complement each other's teachings and works, please let me know...."

I responded with:

I think that all people who are looking for a true prophet will look in vain because the true spiritual teachers on the earth will not make any claim to be a prophet. They will merely go forth and do their work and perhaps after they are gone some may call them prophets. But such titles are so distorted in this age that they are not accepted by true servants.

Those who presently call themselves prophets are not prophets, but there are true servants walking the earth today that are performing a corresponding work to the prophets of old. They are just not called prophets and some are not even thought of as being spiritual.
