Clarifications

After reading in "The Archives Dan writes:

"Geez, it doesn't seem like there is much time left, only 15-20 years, to convert/interpret/step-down even just the above mentioned New Age concepts such that they are 'presented in an acceptable manner' and the ignorance of old creeds/dogmas are made clearly manifest!"

Here is an excerpt from the writing that Dan is referencing:

"Some of the philosophies that will be popular in the New Age are now permeating society to a greater extent than was even hoped for by the disciple of the mid twentieth century. Before 1975 only the intuitive person was able to grasp 'enlightened' doctrine, but 1975 marked a cycle of penetration. From this time to 2025-30 the seekers will embrace various stages of New Age thought and present it to their peers in an acceptable manner. Some time after 2025-30 will begin the seven years (or periods) of burning the weapons of Gog. During this time the old emotional fires which fight the new age will be consumed and Gog and his armies will find that they are void of instruments with which to fight the Christ consciousness After the seven years burning, the fundamentalist clinging to a certain creed or dogma will be an oddity for the ignorance of old dogmas will be clearly manifest. Then will be fulfilled the scripture:

"'Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide (continue to be accepted through the New Age) which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.' (1 Corinthians 3:13-14)"

"The seven years are symbolic of seven periods of transition which may or may not last for that time period."

JJ:

There will be changes by 2030 but the transition to the New Age will be far from complete. Instead this will be a turning point one way or another. It is expected to be one for the better, paving the way for an age of peace and cooperation.

After this will begin the seven cycles of transition which I believe will consists of years each rather than a year each. Each cycle is likely to be closer to a generation than a year. During these seven cycles the old ways no longer useful will be dropped, or as if they are burned, not to be retrieved.

One thing overlooked by many are the changes that have transpired to date. As we live through the decades, which seem to pass rather slowly, we are often unaware of the changes which have occurred. Because changes occur slowly it sometimes seems that nothing is happening until we reflect back a couple decades and measure the change.

There have been some changes that have been regressive and others progressive. We are now at a point where the two types of changes are in conflict, thus explaining the political and philosophical turmoil we have in the present. Much of this will be resolved in the next two decades and a new cycle of change and conflict will come.

Dan asks:

"So in "The Immortal," when it took the character Joe quite a while to adjust to the vibration of the Presence, was that an example of possession or overshadowing? It would seem more like possession as the two more or less both."

JJ:

The example in the story was a portrayal of divine possession. An overshadowing produces a connecting link. In this case the disciple feels a close rapport with the Master and receive inspiration from him through the oneness principle. With a divine possession the two entities actually share the same body so the intensity of cooperation is much greater.
