Seven Lies

I'm not sure if you would label it hypocrisy or just plain deceit, but here are seven promises broken with just the stimulus bill alone.

1. Make government open and transparent.
2. Make it "impossible" for Congressmen to slip in pork barrel projects.
3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public. (Even Congressional Republicans shut out.)
4. No more secrecy.
5. Public will have five days to look at a bill.
6. You'll know what's in it.
7. We will put every pork barrel project online.

Then there are many others not related to this.

Note that about half the comments are under review. This is very unusual. These were obviously Obama supporters who could not control their hate.

By the way I have finished reading "Capitalism, The Unknown Ideal" by Ayn Rand. I enjoyed it much more than I did her fiction books. She makes a lot of good points in areas with which I am generally in agreement and often does it very powerfully.
