I can certainly see John's angle of thinking that we should be talking about something more important than rehashing conspiracy theories, but the problem is that they keep coming up in discussions and a large percentage of the population is influenced by them.
Now I am not big on trusting the government but it is nice to logically believe that it is not intentionally bent on my destruction as conspiracy theories indicate. We need government for some things, even for a libertarian such as myself, and if the 911 conspiracy theory is false then we are faced with something that could needlessly destroy the good the government is capable of doing, such as providing our national security. Without our national security, we can kiss our freedoms goodbye.
So far those trying to prove or disprove the conspiracy have concentrated on the technical details pro and con.
What I have tried to do is present the overall picture with only essential details and show how illogical standard conspiracy theory is as it relates to 911.
For instance if one accepts the standard model of conspiracy theory then one has to explain three important items that have never been addressed:
On the technical side the group has been discussing the possibility of thermite being used by the conspirators. Here is a good reference illustrating that this was not illogical:

Also check out the home page for other evidence:

This is a well researched site and presents much better technical and logical information than do the conspiracy theorists in my opinion. I hope that those who have doubts read it as it covers all the bases.
Even so, I think the greatest evidence against the conspiracy is not found in the technicalities, but the illogic of the thing as a whole. If a bumble bee can fly then all the arguments trying to prove otherwise are useless.
