Today, I thought that make a few comments relating to some of the dialogue of recent posts. First of all, there have been quite a few comments on "Walk-Ins." I mention the possibility that Susan could be a Walk-In because of a difference that showed up in her handwriting over a time period. This comment is actually a repetition of something I said in the past. In archive number 2078 I pointed out that Susan's handwriting indicated the possibility she could be a Walk-In.
Because she hasn't made any comment on all the dialogue that being presented I'm assuming that she hasn't been reading The Keys lately. Let's hope that everything is going okay with her.
Also it seems that some have the impression that a Walk-In has to be a very high level entity and this is not necessarily the case. A Walk-In can range from merely a person of good intent to a master.
And it is true that Walk-In does need to replace a person in a favorable circumstance for service in order to attract his attention. Let us suppose, for instance, that John McCain is Walk-In, and made the switch while he was imprisoned in Vietnam. It would have been quite a sacrifice for that entity to enter prison, but worth the sacrifice if he saw the possibility of becoming President of the United States. I don't know if John McCain is Walk-In or not. I don't see a tremendous amount of light coming from the man but he does have a desire for service and that makes the Walk-In a possibility.
Other walk-ins could make the exchange, not with the hope of becoming president or something that lofty, but may be merely to help a family or two that has members connected to his inner group. Not every Walk-In makes the exchange with the idea of changing the world but some may do it just to make positive changes in a much smaller sphere.
Larry asks where people would gather if they wanted to do so. For years I discourage people from coming to Boise because the time was not right and I did not have time to spend with them. Eventually several people did move here in a couple years ago and I lowered my resistance and encouraged anyone to come who felt so inspired. This is still pretty much my position but I must give this caveat. And that is I'm still unprepared to spend a lot of time with a group. The most important thing for me to do before I form a group is to get some of my teachings into the mass consciousness so that we can have power to gather, not just a half a dozen, but thousands. Until we have power to gather thousands or at least hundreds to get started we are only doing a preparatory work.
If I were to form a group here in Boise there is only about half a dozen who come regularly to the meetings. This is not enough to make regular group meetings worthwhile. So even if we have a handful of people come here it still may not give us the numbers to make regular group meetings profitable. I think we need about 20 dedicated people willing to meet together at least once a week before it is worth my time to prepare and give weekly classes.
So Boise will be the first gathering place but not a lot will happen until we get a couple dozen dedicated souls gathered here willing to do the work. Until that time occurs those who gather here may feel somewhat ignored by me because I have to concentrate my time in areas that will pay off most on behalf of the work.
But if you do feel inclined to come here and settle in you will be more prepared when the time of the more serious gathering comes.
I said there will come worse things in the coming economic crisis and Ruth wanted to know what they were. I do not know everything but there will be quite a few things in the future that will try men's souls. Some of these will be the coming earth changes which will happen within the next 150 to 200 years. And then we are not done with wars on this planet and any coming economic difficulties will only make wars more probable. When the gathering of lights does get seriously underway seekers will find they will face tremendous opposition. Whenever a gathering occurs or a center of energy develops to promote spiritual evolution the darkness comes in and attempts to swallow up the light and it will seem for a time that this may happen but eventually the light dispels the darkness and the darkness becomes as if it never was.
Bryan mentioned that he had heard that I had taught several groups in the past. This is true and I've said several things about these attempts in some of my posts. As you know, back in 1978 I was excommunicated from the Mormon church, and after this occurred I spent a couple years in an attempt to enlighten fellow Mormons. After a time it occurred to me how futile this effort was. So I retired and did some writing and contemplated what to do next. In the next attempt I created a group called the Synthesis Group and it was after the formation of this that I met my wife Artie. Right after Shirley McClain's TV series "Out On a Limb" came out I gave a seminar on reincarnation which Artie attended. She was a member of a group I taught for about a year. The group began to fall apart after we began our relationship.
I learned a lot and working with these two groups. I learned what to do as well as what not to do. I decided not to form another group until I could incorporate more ingredients that would bring ultimate success. I hadn't planned on creating the Keys or anything like it until I achieved significant success as an author first. But Rick wanted to form a group and went ahead and created the Keys and invited me to participate. I thought that I would add a few things every now and then but then as time went on I saw the Keys were drawing interesting and valuable teachings out of me. Because I began to feel a responsibility to give to the members I found that even though I had very little time I was able to give out a lot more teachings with the encouragement of members than I would have been able to do on own. When I realize this benefit I then plunged ahead and made the Keys the center of my attention over these past 10 years.
So do we have a correspondence here somewhere to the 3 & 1/2 times?
The teaching of the Keys would be the third time and a half a time is yet to come. The half time will come after I make a breakthrough in reaching the masses. When the names of some of my writings are as well known as the "Celestine Prophecy" or "Conversations with God," then the final half time will begin.
When I look at the slow progress I have had a permeating the public I do not blame the public or members of this or any other group for any failure that I have had. People are people wherever they are and you always have to deal with their weaknesses and strengths. Teachers, such as myself, must take these things into consideration and not blame the people for being backward or unable to see. The success of the initiate is the responsibility of the initiate and those that join hands with him.
I'm looking forward to the day when many of us can meet together in the flesh on a regular basis. I appreciate the fact that we can meet together on the Internet, but there is another dimension added when people are able to gather together in person. May the numbers needed to make this materialize soon.
