Tuning into the Group Mind

Thanks for your comments Xavier. If Chris is indeed saying that he can post whatever he wants because he is a special being then that is definitely a glamour that he must eventually deal with.

My problem with Christopher's posts is not that they are off topic, or even that that lack interest, for I have found several things he has said of interest.

I would also find a Jehovah Witness posting here and most of the other lists quite fascinating. It would be amusing to have such a proselyter approach us once or twice but then to have him post generic doctrine again and again without tailoring his thought to our discussion would become irritating.

I have enjoyed many of the off topic posting by members, but even these are posted with the group in mind. The current discussion of the Buddha, for instance was not presented to convert anyone to anything, but just to share a thought that was tuned to the group mind.

On the other hand, Chris is a little like the Jehovah Witness who has a mission to convert and his postings are for the masses and I would guess he posts the same thing to twenty or more lists. In doing this he is unable to groom his words to fit into any list.

I am a little like Chris in that I think I have an important message and the thought of posting a Spam on other lists has occurred to me, but quickly dismissed as I felt it would do more harm than good. I have encouraged members who are on other lists to mention our teachings if they fit in the flow of normal discussion and I think this is appropriate.

I and I am sure others here, welcome Chris to make his posts here if he writes them to us and not the masses. I would suggest that Chris create a web page and post all his mass writings there the way I did with my book. Then he can make a reference to it at the bottom of all his postings. I probably would even check such a page from time to time. Then John and others who find his writings interesting would not be denied access.

Chris's current posting is on truth which is a subject we covered quite thoroughly some time ago. I believe that truth is not fluid as Chris teaches and my writings on that are at:
