Dream Mine

Some of you who have been here a while may remember that we posted an entire book on what has been called "The Dream Mine."

This was the story of an LDS Bishop who early in the last century received visions about a gold mine in Utah he was supposed to begin work on. The prediction is that it would come in during a period of economic collapse and be the salvation of many in the west.

There is an interesting story on this in a Salt Lake paper. You can find it at:

Advertising and not advertising on Google has been brought up. I agree with Dan that the ads can be annoying, but if they brought in some real revenue it could be an annoyance that we could handle. Like you say there would not be much revenue until the traffic was up and by that time I may wind up selling the ads myself. I have about 10 years experience in advertising sales and if we handle the sales ourselves we could make quite a bit more than we would make from Google.

My feeling is to play it by ear and see what develops. In the meantime I think the page kind of stands out because it does not have Google ads.

Feel free to comment.
