Re: Predictions, Part 1

Adam quoting JJ:

"But... even though what I received did not translate into 100% accurate details it was accurate. This year the Patriots are 14-0 and if they win their game tomorrow they will have the first unbeaten season since the Dolphins 35 years ago."

Adam:

"Don't mean to nitpick, but just for the record the Patriots must win tomorrow against the Dolphins and also next week against the Giants in order to secure the 1st undefeated season in 35 years. However, technically speaking, the Patriots have already matched the '72 Phish with regular season wins at 14. Now we have a 16 game regular season so the Pats have a little more work to do than did the '72 Phish.

"Personally, I hope the Pats lose somewhere along the way. They're a damn good team, and probably the best ever, but I can't stand their smugness and arrogance and win at all costs (even cheating) attitude.

"Looking forward to this year's Superbowl prediction JJ. Would've liked to have had you around back in my betting days."

JJ:

Thanks for the correction. I was thinking the Patriots had two more games, but when I checked the news it made it sound like one more game. I guess it was one more game to beat the 35 year record.

I don't know if I'll make another superbowl prediction or not. There are so many variables in football including free will that I do not think even God knows for sure. College football; this season really ran contrary to all predictions. I heard that archangel Gabriel lost 30 celestial credits in a bet.

Politics is much easier to predict and even that is difficult.
