Progress

Thanks for the brainstorming post Bryan.

I also was impressed with Carlton Pearson. I think it was "60 Minutes" where I saw him. Anyone who breaks off from a current thought form and thinks for himself is a good prospect for the true work which advances mankind. Many of these types of people may know little about metaphysics or the type of subjects we discuss but just the fact that they defy the beast counts much for them.

I've been keeping a list lately of independent thinkers I was going to send the book to and Carlton's name was on the list. I haven't sent it yet so if you want to do this, especially with a letter, this may prove fruitful. I'll be glad to supply the books or replace what you send him if that helps.

I've been teaching now on the internet for over eight years and it may seem to some that not much has been accomplished. Am I doomed as a teacher to spend all my days just teaching a small group and have to wait a generation after I am gone before my writings will be appreciated by the multitudes?

It could happen but I am personally planning for significant success within my lifetime.

More has been accomplished than some of my critics realize.

Two steps on toward the power to reach the masses have taken place so far.

  1. Foundation writings are all in place. Bryan, Melva, Mindy, Larry, Robin and Susan have worked on editing the archives but someday I need to go through them and give them a final edit to prepare them for publication.

Right now we are selling three Immortal volumes, three other books and six volumes of the archives. If all the archives were published we'd probably have over 12 volumes of around 200,000 words each.

Because the books do not make enough money to pay the bills I have to continue my business which is very labor intensive. Presently I only have a small amount of free time and I figure the best use I can make of it is to put in writing words that may be read for many years to come. They will also lay a foundation for work I will do when my hands are freed.

  1. The second thing we have accomplished is to form a seed group in the Keys and Triads. I haven't been able to give much personal attention to the group individually or collectively, but those who have seen light and hope in my writings have stuck it out. Some are happy to just get a daily dose of inspiration and others are hoping we will soon have power to begin a work that will truly gather the lights of the earth and accomplish some worthwhile service to humanity.

Right now we have 421 members in the Keys and the archives are read by many non members. Even so, this may not seem like much of a result for all the effort I have put forth. If the work succeeds as I envision many thousands will eventually take an interest and when this occurs we will be able to assimilate them much better because of the stable group we have than if we were starting from scratch.

There are two steps that must take place before the visible work begins.

  1. I have to get myself in a situation where I can take my attention and labor off my business and concentrate on teaching, promoting and publishing. We have made significant progress in reaching this point and I believe the day is not that far off. When I am able to devote full time to promoting the teachings I believe this will provide the needed energy to reach the masses.
  2. A breakthrough that will reach the masses. This could come at any time, but will be much more likely after I am able to work full time on the spiritual work.

In addition to promoting we will try different approaches until something breaks through. Once my name gets in the public consciousness many will want to read all I have written, just as many of you have.

The next new approach is now just around the corner. I have just finished recording an audio version of Book I. We are going to put the whole book on one MP3 CD and publish thousands of them and give them away free just like we did with the test of the first book.

The thinking is that a much higher percentage will listen to an audio book than will read a free tabloid book.

We will experiment by sending free copies to Public Libraries which have an audio section as well as bookstores and audio book rental places.

If any in the group want to give them away we will send them copies of the free audio books.

I think the Libraries will be especially good because the audio books seem to get checked out a lot more than the regular books and once Book One is listened to I think the chance of people wanting to read the whole series is quite high.

I'll let you know when we get the project underway. It should happen within a month.

Good people are good because they've come to wisdom through failure.
