To Dean With Love

Dean,

After reading your last post and contemplating it in connection to other recent ones it becomes obvious to me that you see yourself as a student who has transcended and overtaken his teacher. You obviously see yourself as having obtained a plateau of vision far beyond that of which I am capable and your only mission is to dissect my teachings line by line and illustrate their error to the enlightenment of all.

No teacher, good or bad, desires this to happen in his classroom, nor is such negativity useful. Imagine a Spanish teacher teaching the correct pronunciation of words and one student objecting to each and every word. Even if the student did know the correct pronunciation of some words the class would find him a nuisance and not a help at all in the general learning process.

If you see yourself as the grand watcher for error and the master corrector you are in the wrong place. If you think you have a higher truth than is presented here you need to prove your power as an initiate and start your own class and teach to your heart's content. If you indeed have a higher vision and understanding you will attract many followers.

If you do wish to stay here then you need to stay as a student and act like a student and not as a teacher with the red pencil.

No, this does not mean that you cannot share many of your thoughts with others. We have many teachers in their own right here who do not try to destroy, but to assist.

I hate to do this for I like to allow free expression, but we have to think of the good of the group. But if this nit picky critical line by line rebuttal with nothing positive to say continues we will have to reject such unproductive posts.

You need to ask yourself as to why you are here as a student when you have nothing to learn from me?

If you can't be funny, be interesting.
