Christ in Politics

Johan:

Interesting comments. Insinuating? Why would you think I would have pointed to you? 1. I was referring to Bush. Not to you.

Bush has made no more claim to voices than I have so my comments stand.

Johan:

Bush usually says he is guided by God to act out his wars.

He has never said any such thing. I know you hate Bush, but you don't have to fabricate what he says.

Johan:

3. Your third point is based on resentment which is also ego. I have never called you hypocritical. I do not need to preach my "own message from God". My message is the Universal Gnostic message...

I was speaking of your words rather than attacking you personally.

You condemn others who believe they receive guidance from God yet it appears that you are teaching your own revelation from God.

Now you say you are not.

That means that if you received no confirmation from God or spiritual sources that your teachings are no more provable than anything you hear from a typical college professor teaching from the lower mind. The teaching you are giving us is must merely be something you read and assimilated by your concrete mind and passed on to us.

You do not even seem to have as much authority as George Bush.

Johan still stands by this statement:

"Politics, in any way or from any wing is part of the beast's manipulation of humankind."

Then explain why you accept DK when he writes the following:

"The work of the Manu is occupied with the science of divine government, with politics and law."

"The divine Christ in the human heart can express itself in many different departments of human living-in politics, in the arts, in economic expression and in true social living, in science and in religion."

"What this divine purpose may be the Christ Himself will reveal upon His arrival; the focal point of His activity will be dependent upon the medium used by Him to implement that purpose-known only to Him and to the senior members of the Hierarchy. Should politics be the medium through which He best can serve, that then will determine the locality of the focal point."

DK seems to think that there is a good possibility that Christ will be a politician (or work with politics) when he comes. Who knows? He may even write a book on politics. Will you then condemn him as being spiritually inferior and in cahoots with the Beast?
