Now in Book IV you write:

"I made the decision and real time began. I willed myself back in my body, and, at the same instant willed myself free from the tape which held me bound, and was transported next to the Dark Master with the sword. I immediately grabbed his arm. The whole group shrieked back in surprise, and the Dark Master looked very shocked and dropped the sword."

I just don't find that believable. It is like dropping a "God out of the machine," or "POOF! MAGIC" to resolve the story. How did you transport next to the Dark Master, etc.? How did this happen? How did it come from your thinking about what to do? Etc? How is it that you suddenly knew to "will yourself free from the tape" and how did you really do it, and what in your contemplation a second before led to that? To be believable there has to be a far more believable sequence and explanation of the insight that led to the hero of the story being able to do this.

I could understand your point if this happened with no reason behind it but the supernatural power was set up earlier with this statement from The Ancient of Days:

"Remember the words of Jesus, Anything is possible to him who believes."

"So are you saying I have to use the faith that moves mountains to save my wife?"

"Yes."

"But I don't have the faith to move a mountain," I pleaded.

"You don't? What if I told you to command a mountain to move? Do you think it would?"

"Of course. You have the power to move a mountain."

"Then let me tell you something. You have the power to defeat and dominate the Dark Brothers according to your will. I have spoken it. Now, you must return. You have three seconds to obtain victory. Real time begins when you decide."
