Soul Ideas

Remember a couple days ago in my satire about Bush being accused of everything that goes wrong in the world, even the Tsunami? In an attempt at humor I jested that Bush dropped an atomic bomb on a fault line causing the tsunami disaster.

I just heard on a news program that some are seriously believing this to be true. The only deviation from my post is that Israel was in on it too.

One man's humor is another man's serious belief system.

The question:

What is the principle behind faith? In other words, why is it that faith can produce the miraculous?

Good comments so far. I'm going to give one more seed thought before I comment. John C in his excellent post gave this quote from DK:

"Register the idea, received by the soul intuitively, and recognize the form which it should take. These last seven words are of vital importance."

Think on this statement and ask yourself: What further light does this shed on the mystery aspect, or true faith?

I do not think I could myself be brought to support a man for office whom I knew to be an open enemy of, or scoffer at, religion. Abraham Lincoln
