My Friends,
We have probably covered the "Nothingness Philosophy" about as much as most member have the patience to endure.
The basic message of it is basically that there is a blissful experience to be had with God by shifting attention from the carnal world to the spiritual world.
There's only so much that can be said about this without repeating ourselves so we will move on. Beginning Sunday any posts on this subject will be rejected so if any desire to get the message out of their system now is the time to do it.
New Topic:
We will now do something we have not done before and that is to go through one of the Alice A. Bailey books which was dictated by Djwhal Khul, the Tibetan Master. The book we will study is called The Reappearance of the Christ.
Assignment:
Read the first chapter.
When you finish with this, then read Chapter Two.
As you read and find something of interest please post your thoughts on it. If a question arises in your mind go ahead and post it.
The book begins with this quote:
"Whenever there is a withering of the law and an uprising of lawlessness on all sides, then I manifest Myself.
"For the salvation of the righteous and the destruction of such as do evil, for the firm establishing of the Law, I come to birth age after age." (Bhagavad Gita, Book IV, Sutra 7, 8. [5])
What are the three reasons a Messiah will come and how do you expect this to play out in this age?
"To most of us nothing is so invisible as an unpleasant truth. Though it is held before our eyes, pushed under our noses, rammed down our throats--we know it not."
