The Way

JJ from previous post:

Then what is the opposite of hate? If hate has no opposite I guess it is not dualistic either.

Gopi:

The opposite of hatred is affection, ie., affect-ation. Both are personal and egoic, therefore dualistic.

Affection is not the opposite of hate. Affection is a mild emotion usually involving desire to gently and softly touch. Hate is a powerful passionate emotion with a desire to destroy or eliminate. Affection is not the opposite of hate any more than is something like friendship is. Care to try again?

Maybe you should follow your own advice and abandon the concepts you are talking about here. Maybe the true reality you talk of would then manifest to you.

Gopi:

Yes, if I were attached to these concepts that I am talking about here, as you perceive that I am, then Reality could never appear to me.

Let me clue you in. From the viewpoint of most of the people on the list you appear to be extremely attached to your own concepts of God, Love, energy etc.

If you were to follow your own advice we'd never hear from you again.

Gopi:

I do, though, see investment and attachment (with Keys members), which is always predicated by the "you over there and me over here" mind-set, and which itself betrays ignorance of the Truth.

Isn't it great that you are not investing in words of division like telling us we are over there in ignorance of the truth and you are over here in sublime knowingness. Wait. Maybe I ought to read that sentence you wrote again.

Gopi:

Refuse to borrow from anyone's thoughts about God. This is the Way.

OK. I won't borrow your thoughts. Since you think words and thoughts are so useless, perhaps we should do you a favor and discontinue exchanging words and thoughts on this subject.

The rest of us enjoy thinking as well as loving and will continue on in the use of the mind. If you want to come along for the ride this is fine. If not, I'm sure your bliss will be sufficient for you.
