Gathering Thoughts On The Song

Thank you my friends for you kind comments on my last several posts. I sensed the Oneness Principle through the soul as I wrote them and felt you would also.

John C keeps bringing up points that need to be expanded. This is a good thing. John says the following:

"It says in the Bible that the only people who will know how to sing the song of the 144,000 will be those with the Father's name written on their foreheads. If you have ever tried to set the Song to music, you'll know why. It is very difficult. Of course, I guess once you have the right melody the rest will be easy.

"I have been working on this, and I hope I have the "right melody". At least it "works" -- if you stretch it a bit. I posted a MID file about a week ago, but so far nobody has said whether they liked it or not. I just bought some music software and as soon as I learn how to use it, I will have something more to post. I think I know how Rick got his very nice rendition of the GI up on the net, and I'm going to try to do the same.

"Even if you all hate it intensely, it's still a good exercise for me, because I used to write music, and that's one of those things I keep putting off and I want to get back into.

Being a song writer myself, I can appreciate the difficulty in setting either "The Great Invocation" or the "Song Of The 144,000" to music since neither were designed for that purpose. Even so, I see no harm in attempting the project. Your melody sounds pretty John, and so was Rick's of "The Great Invocation."

That said I thought I would gather together some of my writings on the Song and post them in one article.

The first quotes are from "The Immortal" and the rest are from The Archives. Hope they help shed some light.

I hurriedly got a Bible and gave it to John. He turned to Revelations Chapter 14 and read:

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

"And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

"And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

"These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb.

"And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."

John closed the book thoughtfully and looked at Elizabeth and me. "I wrote this in symbolic language nearly two thousand years ago. It sounds like the song will be sung by heavenly beings flying around the throne of God, but in reality anyone here on earth who recognizes the Spirit of God flowing through him is very close to the throne of God. It may sound like the song will be sung by virgin men but they will be both men and women who are pure in heart. Many have also thought the number 144,000 is a limiting number, but in reality it is the number of one great symbolic choir, one of many that will eventually come from this small planet. Also, the song will not be sung, in the ordinary sense, on the physical plane but by souls of aspiring disciples. It is to be spoken out loud and registered by the spirit within. When the words are registered by the soul a beautiful song is sent to God, and, in return, the seeker will receive spiritual protection and assistance.

"The true singing of the Song of the 144,000 is accomplished on three levels: the physical, emotional and mental planes, which opens the door of the spiritual. You have been singing the song recently and I can see your light and feel your peace. Thus, I see that you have been singing the song." "Could you explain more about what you mean by singing on three levels?" John paused and said, "If a person merely memorizes the words and repeats them only on the physical plane, he is not truly singing the song. The vibrations of words only being uttered cause very little result. In addition to saying the words, one must feel and think the words. In a sense you become the Word which is God. The final thing you must always do is to sing the song as if you are in the presence of all others who are also in the great choir. When you do this you open the door to the spiritual energy and become a true singer of the song; you not only help yourself, but you also assist all others who also know and use the song. There is a strong interplay and sharing of energy that is available to those who have the Father's name written in their foreheads." "I have a question," I said. "When you sang the song we saw a visible light around us, but when Elizabeth and I did it, we didn't see a light. How come?" "You did not see a light, but I did. When I saw you walking toward this booth you were glowing like an angel. You saw the light in my presence for two reasons: I have had more practice singing the song than you and the light was thus more intense: second, your spiritual sight was more sensitive that night. If you develop your spiritual sight you will be able to see the light each time you correctly sing the song. You will sing this song in groups in the future and some will see the light and others will not. Everyone, however, will feel some type of effect. Those who are not ready will feel a negative effect and will drop out of the choir and not sing it again until they are more prepared." "What's the main determination as to whether a person is ready?" I asked.

"Each person will be his own judge. But if one is not ready he will not benefit and thus will not even attempt to sing the song on a regular basis." "It seems odd to say we are singing a song when we are not singing in the normal sense." "From a higher point of view there is not a lot of difference in beauty between speaking and singing. The beauty of the song of the soul far eclipses the most beautiful singing on the earth. Thus you will find some of the most spiritual people on the planet often do not have a good physical singing voice. This is because they have put so much attention on the inner beauty. On the other hand, there are a handful of spiritual people who have also cultivated a good singing voice, so you can't really judge the spiritual evolution of a person by the sound of his physical voice." "What a relief!" I joked. "I'd probably go to Hell if I was judged by the way I sing." "Actually you sing very well. If you were to listen to your whole self, you would see it." John smiled.

Light and Love are eternally present, but we individually and collectively create veils that cause the illusion of separation. These veils can be penetrated by directed thought on an individual and collective basis.

The Song will direct your thoughts toward the three aspects of God, which are Light and Love and Power, and reverse the direction of the current of the veils. Because the thoughts of the person saying the Song direct Will in a positive way, he or she has power to counteract many thoughts which have a negative effect.

The scripture "One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one..." (Isa 30:17) has a correspondence here. Singing the Song with the Soul and directed thought can cause over a thousand negative thoughts surrounding you and others to flee.

The grand purpose of this earthly verse of the Song is to reverse the tremendous blockages caused by negative and illusionary thoughts of all kinds.

It is important that when saying the Song we say it with the visualization that everyone else saying it is present with us. This will cause the power of the Song to amplify in power individually and collectively.

It is easier to feel the full effect of the Song when two or more can physically say it together, but this is only because it is easier to direct our thoughts and feelings in this situation. To get the full effect via the Internet we must just make a little stronger effort to see the members of the group as if they are present. It doesn't matter if members are saying it at different times of the day; for a few hours is not a barrier to the soul.

Imagine the day when 144,000 here on earth will sing the song at one time for the first time? I'm not sure myself the full implications of this, but I know the results will be wonderful.

I've stated this in the book but I want to repeat that 144,000 is not a limiting number. It is the number of a cell in the kingdom of God, and there are many cells, but none yet exist among humanity upon the earth.

Someone talked about the descent of light and love and how it is to be directed.

The word "descent" is the best word we have available because we always think of heaven as being "up." Therefore, when we visualize the light of the kingdom of God being revealed we think of it as coming down to us. In some ways it's more like us just tuning in to it as the veils of illusion are removed.

When you sing the Song you can think of loved ones who are troubled in spirit and see the light and love as descending upon them and elevating their spirits. I have found this works when I put my attention on it. The person will move toward a more peaceable state and not know the reason why. It is also good to use this power with our world leaders. Perhaps the Song will be partiality responsible for maintaining the era of peace that is predicted to come.

Another extremely important reason for the Song to be sung in this age is for the protection of the workers of light. Anyone who has studied a history of the teachers of light will notice that there has been tremendous persecution of the teachers of mankind. Jesus Himself was crucified and a good number of His followers were killed.

In every age in recorded history the negative forces have prevailed against the Light. This time it will be different. The Song will give the workers the power to peacefully prevail against the Dark Ones for the first time in a very long time. We are approaching a great New Age and certain things have been decreed. This is not a time for the disciples to sacrifice themselves, but a time for us to finally live and teach and fill the world with the hope of infinite possibilities.

There is one more important thing you can do to heighten the spiritual vibration and that involves using the "OM." This is not yet mentioned in the book because it was written to appeal to all belief systems. Some standard Bible believers are prejudiced against Eastern terms just as some New Agers equate the Bible with television preachers.

Before you say the song, sound one long "OM" as long as your breath lasts and is comfortable. Sound it on a note that seems to feel right to you. This alone will heighten the vibration.

If you have plenty of time do the following: after sounding the long OM sound, sound 12 short "OM's" right afterwards. Do not count the number, but sound it in what seems to be about twelve times. Extend the last "OM" to as long as is comfortable.

Between each of the three verses sound the "OM" again and visualize the group and the fulfillment of the words just spoken. When you finish the last verse sound the "AUM" in three breaths as follows:

First Breath -- A-A-A-A-A-H-H-H-H-H-H.

Second Breath -- O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O (as in Moon).

Third Breath -- M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M.

As you sound "AUM" visualize the group as a center for the distribution of light and love and power. Visualize it to such an extent that the earth is transformed, and heaven and earth are brought together.

Unless a group of people is able to escape from "the mark of the beast," sing the essence of the Song of the 144,000 in the soul, and join in the Oneness principle - certain plans of the Brotherhood of Light cannot take place.

Question: How should we use the three aspects of prayer, meditation and contemplation when we say the Song of the 144,000?

I was surprised that no one even tackled the question on the 144,000. I believe this is the first time the whole group has not taken a stab at it.

Marilyn did give a great comment on the protective power of the Song, however. I personally find it interesting that whenever I seem to have a bad day it is during a time when I did not say the song for at least a day.

The main purpose of the Song in this age is to protect the Lights as a group from the negative energies that would like to see them being thrown to the modern day lions, but its power also extends to many personal benefits.

Here is the illusive question: Question: How should we use the three aspects of prayer, meditation and contemplation when we say the Song of the 144,000?

Remember the principle of the Trinity: "All life and all power that brings life and true power of livingness must express itself through three aspects or divisions of energies or methods." One of the reasons that the Song of the 144,000 is a powerful combination is because it expresses itself through a Trinity.

First, the Song is a prayer because it is directed to God as a prayer of thanks as well as an affirmation.

Secondly, it is a meditation. Where is meditation involved, you ask? In between the verses you should have a short period of silence. For instance, after you say "Wherever we will the Light to descend." You can then visualize the light descending on all those in the world who have said the prayer on this day as well as anyone else you personally know who may be deserving of it. After you finish this short visualization then you have a short period of silence where you enter into meditation deep and sense light coming through you. At this point you may receive some important impression that you are supposed to act upon.

Repeat this at the end of each verse and the end of the Song itself.

Thirdly and finally, you use contemplation. You can use some during the prayer but you will use this mostly after the prayer. Contemplate the impressions that come to you during the day because of the increase of Light and Love and Power. If you are saying the Song with pure intent and tuning into the Oneness Principle, additional light will just come to you from time to time and it is important that you contemplate or think long and hard about what you receive so you can have power to retain it.

Those who do it [sing The Song] in union focus on the same Song, but sing it according to their own individuality and tone. Two singing it have a different effect than one and three different than two and so on.

The Song does not have a physical melody and would probably be difficult to put to regular music, but is a song of the soul and the music is exuded in physical silence. Each person singing it according to original intent creates a note which is a part of a great symphony that we are beginning to create in time and space. We can roughly say that 144,000 notes create the first verse. This may not be an exact correspondence, but projects the right idea.

Now as a group, we say the first verse of the Song of the 144,000. When we say the sentence "...and wherever we will the light to descend," the group then wills light to descend in the middle of the circle. As you exercise your will to manifest light you sense the combined will of the group joining into a will of great power and you see a visible expanding circle of light manifesting in the center.

As you witness this light expanding the group, say the second verse. As the words "...and wherever we will the Love to be enflamed," are said, you see within the growing light the image of Christ beginning to manifest with greater and greater clarity. You sense within Him a power of Light and Love that we can only wish for upon the physical plane.

Next we say: "We thank you Father that you are in us and we are in you." Suddenly, you are no longer in the circle, but you are in the middle. Your consciousness is within the form of Christ itself and you realize that oneness with God is much more than a figure of speech. You sense an ecstasy looking through the eyes of Christ and feeling the fire of Love in His heart that you never before dreamed possible.

As the group centers in the midway point and adjusts to the energy we say: "that through us Your Will is sent forth on wings of Power: That Your Purpose is accomplished on earth as it is in heaven." Now that you are in this heightened state, contemplate on what this verse of the song means.

If you send forth the Will of God then you must be one with God and His Will is passing through you. Can you sense what the Will and Power of God feels like as you are One with Christ? Can you sense the Purpose of God - that it is more than a goal of some kind, but as aspect that must be revealed through your oneness?

Can you sense that you are close to the Purpose of God when you send forth the Will of God on the wings of His Power?

The prime reason for the Song of the 144,000 is to protect the Lights from the destructive forces of the "Beast." The disciples of the earth have rarely in the past 2000 years been able to complete their missions because of persecutions internally and externally. This is the first time since the last Adam that we have an opportunity to consummate our missions. That is not to say there will not be difficulties, but if we truly focus our minds on the words and meaning of the Song, as well as saying the Song, we shall have the protection we need to truly bring "peace on Earth, Goodwill to mankind," in this age.

Think about it and feel the inner rejoicing.

Any major earth changes which are to come will be to insure the gathering of lights. The Planetary Spirit of the earth will sense the need to protect the Lights which will be gathered and will create any earth changes necessary to destroy those who may do them harm. The Song of the 144,000 is a sweet sound that reaches up to the ears of this great entity and is one means to be recognized by her. No group of people who say this song need ever fear mother earth.

The Song of the 144,000 fits on the ceremony side of this Ray [Seventh Ray] for technically it initiates a ceremony which invokes certain results. One of the reasons this technique was not used prominently in the days of Christ, for instance, is that the Seventh Ray was not in play, but now that it is, the Song becomes a much more viable tool for the protection of the lights.

Even though the Song has many personal benefits, as noted by Keith for instance, this is not its main purpose. Its main purpose is yet to be illustrated for the time will come when the Gathering of Lights will become a reality and when this happens the Beast of authority will rear its ugly head and do everything in its power to destroy the enterprise. When this time comes the accumulated power produced by the Song will swing the balance causing the first solid victory of the gathered lights in many thousands of years. The enemies of light and love will continue to create problems from time to time, but if we do our part in standing in harmlessness while seeking to serve in the light with light and love and power manifesting for the whole, the triumph in the end will be sure.

Even with the Song we must tread the path of the Middle Way successfully.
