The Beast of Authority

The Question:
There are two other happenings that have caused beastly powers to come out of the United States which caused it to "speak the words of the dragon." These happenings were much more serious than any of our attempts to throw support behind the lesser of two evils. What are they?

The answer to this is quite interesting and I have posted some of my previous writings on the subject below. Larry is one of the few who has absorbed them well and sees the significance thereof. It probably seems to him that I am contradicting myself in my current writings.

I submit that I am not, but merely giving further elaboration to throw new light on other parts of this vast subject.

Even though, all the countries of the world support the mark of the beast, this does not mean that they cannot make some good choices along with the bad as they work themselves free. Even the Roman Empire did many things that benefited civilization as a whole.

The two main happenings that cause us to support the Dragon were:
(1) The creation of the Communist Empires through the Bolshevik Revolution. The establishment of this arm of the Beast could not have happened without financing by many capitalists here in the United States. Then after it was established financial support from the American government assisted in its growth and continuance. Currently we are expanding this problem by financing many of the authoritarian Arabian states who wish to destroy us.
(2) The turning over of the majority of the governing power of the country to bureaucracies and other officials who are not elected. An authority who is not elected does not have to answer to the people and is often close to impossible to get rid of. These non-elected officials cause many of the problems Larry talked about which is aggravated by us in foreign countries.

But the unjust authority, which is the mark of the beast, is very subtle and shows up not only in places where death squads are at work, but everywhere from your medical authorities, to your church, to your favorite news anchor. Wherever there is a group of people who follow without thinking, but are led through the emotional nose as an animal is lead to its good or bad destination, there you have the mark.

All have the mark except those who can think for themselves through soul contact.

I have found it irritating that numerous times in the past that some Keys members have been accused of blindly following what I say. I think Larry, Travis and many others here are willing to take me to task whenever I say something that does not register with them. But then there may be long periods where we see eye to eye. Not because anyone is following blindly, but because we see through the same eyes of the soul.

Below is a repeat of some of my previous writings commenting on the beast.

Subject: Like a Lamb

The verses under discussion are:

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Several of you were on the right track when you said the two horns like a lamb had something to do with Christ since Christ is called the "lamb of God." But the second beast is deceptive because "he spake as the dragon."

Now let us examine it in a little more detail. First we are told that this beast comes up out of the earth. It may help here to give a more accurate translation. "Coming up" comes from the Greek ANABBAINO which means to grow and spring up like a plant. The word 'Earth" comes from GE which literally means "soil or land." Sometimes it can be translated as "country or earth."

A more accurate rendering would be: "And I perceived another beast quickly growing like a plant out of the land (earth or soil)"

This is actually a second symbol of Christ, the other being the "two horns like a lamb." Legend and inspired writings tell us that Christ was born in a cave. In other words, Christ himself sprang out of the earth, literally. The earth is also a symbol of Virgo, the Virgin Mary who bore the Christ child. The earth is also a symbol of the developing Christ life on the physical plane. The trouble is that as each of us struggles to deliver the Christ child in our hearts and we struggle as if in a fog, see everything upside down. We first serve the antichrist outside of ourselves for many lifetimes until we finally wake up and discover that which we served was illusion and the real Christ is within ourselves.

This drama has been played out in our recent history for the second beast is the United States. The second beast grew up like a plant in a new land and that was America. Those who were drawn to the new country came for the sake of freedom, worship and opportunity - and qualities enunciated by the Master.

The two horns like a lamb were:

(1) The U.S. Constitution and the new political order with freely elected representatives.

(2) The establishment of freedom of Religion and self determination. In addition to this several important religions were established here.

(A) First the LDS or Mormons were created on the idea that revelation and miracles did not cease with the Bible but should always be a part of the church of Christ. Every person with a witness of Christ should be a prophet.

(B) Christian Science. This church was founded on valid principles of healing that had potential to help many people.

(C) Jehovah's Witnesses. This group did not intend to be a church but began as groups of people just getting together and seeing what the Bible had to say with no dogma attached.

Unfortunately, even though these three churches began with these important Christ principles, they have all drifted from them.

(4) The Theosophical movement

The Mormons no longer publish new revelation from God nor do they allow ordinary members to be prophets. Christian Science seems to have no more healings than any other church and the Jehovah Witnesses are now so dogmatic they irritate 90 per cent of the populace. All, of them have turned authoritative and strictly control what a member can learn and teach, yet remain in good standing.

So the second beast is the United States that began its political and religious life as the lamb, but as it matured it became authoritative in both areas. This country now feels a need to use strong authority to decide which dictators of the beast will be cultivated and which ones will be destroyed. The conservatives feel the need to spread their dogmatic Bible belt religion world wide by whatever means necessary and the liberals feel the same need with their illogical extremist beliefs in the name of saving everything from the ozone layer to snails. Now both sides have their good points but the big promoters of both points of view would be destructive if either got their way and both sides support the strong authority demanded by the dragon.

So now the United States has left its Christ-like roots of free thought and religion and now is a strong promoter of mindless authority throughout the world.

I do not say here that the US is evil in the normal sense. It still has the two horns like the lamb and may be the best country to live in on earth, but it has left its roots and lost much of its power given to it through free election and given power to unelected authorities in both church and state. Thus because authority is enshrined, the deadly wound of the first beast is healed and the worship (kissing up) has been renewed.

NEXT VERSE

Rev 13:3-4 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

For many thousand of years the beast, through Kings, religious leaders and other authorities exercised an unjust authority over the human race. But finally a group of people rebelled against the kingdoms and established a government by the people of the people and for the people.

It is interesting to note that the Constitution and Bill of Rights gave power to the people by limiting the power of government. Over and over they say what "Congress shall NOT" do. Thus the Beast was wounded because it was finally told by the people who created it that there were a lot of things it could no longer do. It could no longer do unreasonable search and seizures. It could no longer use cruel and unusual punishments. Laws shall be made by elected officials and not the king. The beast cannot make a person testify against himself. Eventually even slavery was outlawed.

Now because of this Constitution even the beast was wounded in Britain. Eventually even the power of Royalty there was taken away and one by one the nations of the world copied the principles of the Constitution and attempted to emulate a free government.
So now everything is great - Right?

Not quite. The beast went right to work seeking desperately to survive. The tendency of people to follow an unearned authority was still present and he worked with that weakness in man.

First he sought to control the elected officials by making sure those whom run for office are people who love power and authority. Then when they are elected they seek to control, them through thoughtforms, through special interests, self interest, ego, corruption and money.

Since complete control of elected officials is not possible the beast sought to add to our system as many appointed officials who would run the real government business. An appointed official then becomes like a little king over his dominion who does not have to answer to the people. Thus we have little unelected Kings controlling all departments of government such as tax collecting, the department of Energy, Department of Education, Department of Agriculture, Transportation and so on. Over 90% of government in our lives is carried out under strong authority of unelected mini Kings. Day after day, week after week, year after year the power of these kingdoms within what seems to be a free society is increased.

In the old days of the beast the populace was aware that they were ruled by the king, but what makes this age different is that we think we are in this great Democracy when the Beast has as much control over our lives as did the emperor in ancient Rome.

The deadly wound has been healed and the people wonder after the power of authority as it reaches its tentacles all over the world and into every life so we are all effected.

The most popular of them was Communism. The Bolshevik Revolution that established the Communist regime in Russia was financed right out of the United States by wealthy men who saw a great opportunity in Marx's philosophy. If you ever read Animal Farm you can understand.

The idea was to create a slave system where the workers would labor for almost nothing and be under the complete control of the state. If this could be pulled off by big money then they could not only gain even greater riches through such a system, but also greater power. Once a person gets all the money he can spend about the only thing that interests him after this is power. And the lust for power was the impetus behind the creation of the image of the beast.

The only thing that has saved us from complete communist control of the world is that it turned out to be a financial disaster and it fell similar to the description of the fall of Babylon as prophesied: "And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, thus with violence, shall the great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all." Rev 18:21. We are told that in "one hour is she made desolate."

There is more to this scripture, but it is a good description of the quick fall of the Communist Block.

The USSR was just a part of the Image of the Beast. Hitler also received much start up capital from the United States and Europe (which adopted free governments). Then we also created and financed other dictators like Noriega, Saddam Hussein, communist China and many other authoritarian governments.

We create an image to the beast and then when it turns on us like a lion, bear or leopard, we have to fight it and destroy it. After this scenario we then start the process anew and create other parts to the image of the beast making sure the Beast is always alive and well.

A book could be written about all the parts to the image of the beast we have financed and maintained since the foundation of this country. It's as if we feel uncomfortable not having a threat to our existence so we must always create one. Now we are building up the Chinese by selling them missile technology so they can rattle a few bombs our direction.

A short time ago Jimmy Carter went to North Korea and told them that if they will be nice and promise to use nuclear energy for peace we will give them the technology and parts to build reactors.

Of course, they promised to be nice. We believe them, don't we?

The scripture continues: Rev 13:15 "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

In all of these countries if you do not worship (kiss up to) the powers that be you will be killed. The people of Iraq, for instance, are terrified to speak against Hussein. A while back he had a meeting and one person just expressed some concern and Sadham shot him on the spot.

We are opening up trade now with Vietnam, which is still under strict control of the beast. Then there are numerous central and South American Countries we still support and aid who do not allow free speech or enterprise.

It is obvious that in some countries blind authority is live and well, but the image of the beast also exists in the so-called free countries, but on more subtle levels as we discussed earlier.

The United Nations has potential to become a great image of the beast, but humanity has it within their power to direct the organization toward a good end. It is far from perfect, but it does not yet have the power of the beast. It does, however, assist in some cases to feed the image of the beast, or the little dictators throughout the world.

Hopefully this will give you food for thought.
