Marylin's daughter wrote me another letter about Mother. Sorry I didn't get a chance to post it earlier:
"My mother, Marylin, came out of the triple bypass surgery okay. They did an echogram this morning to check the carotid arteries in the lung and one is 75% blocked. The surgeon had told us before surgery that he would also do a bypass on this artery. When the surgery was over, they had only done the triple bypass; looks like mom may have to go back for a bypass on the carotid artery that is blocked.
Moms in ICU and stable and will stay in ICU for 2 days then be moved to a regular room. Please let everyone know that we greatly appreciate their prayers for my mother, the power of prayer can do wonders.
Mom should be back home sometime next week. I'll keep you updated on her progress."
Looks like so far so good. Hopefully she'll be as good as new after the next round of surgery.
Rick has been in contact with her sister and will see if he can get the name of the hospital she is in.
We also need to keep Rick's daughter in our prayers as she needs ear surgery.
Also let us not forget Diane Linen our main moderator, who has been struggling with cancer for some time. She is a brave soul who never complains.
