Male and Female Domination

Male and Female Domination

I received a critical response to my post on male/female energies. He quotes me as saying:

“Why is it demeaning to say that women are polarized in the emotional nature? Are emotions a bad thing in your mind? I certainly am glad to have them. Using your logic, it would also be a bad thing to say men are polarized in the mental. To say one is mental is another way of stating the guy is crazy.”

Then he says this:

“It’s demeaning because in your hierarchy narrative, mind is above emotion and, by the same token, it regards women as being subservient to men.”

The trouble with this statement is that the reader is only focusing on a segment of my teachings of male and female energy. The various planes are polarized in one of the dualities that make up all existence, which are either male/female or positive/negative, and overall, they are in balance. This corresponds to the stable atom where the charge of the positive proton is balanced off by the negative electron. Then we have atoms that are ions that have polarization in either positive or negative energy and we also have the planes of existence in which one of the energies will dominate.

The first plane is the physical which is dominated by male energy. This is evidenced by the fact that the male is significantly stronger than the female and most can subdue the female partner physically at will if he decided to.

The second plane is the emotional – called the astral in esoteric writings. This is dominated by the female. Most men will readily acknowledge that the female dominates here. A male is significantly affected by a female showing strong emotion and has a natural inclination to submit to it and do what he can to see that the female desire is satisfied.

The third plane up is the mind and this is dominated by the male. This is evidenced by the fact (noted by Google AI) that currently 85% of employed engineers are male. This is actually an increase, as when I started engineering school in 1964 there was only one female enrolled among a couple hundred males.

Another example of mental polarization is in the application for patents. Studies show that 83% to 87% of all patented inventors are male, while 13% to 17% are female.

The hard fact is that females gravitate to the emotional world and males to the mental. This of course does not mean that men do not feel or women do not think. We all have equal endowments of mind and emotion but the difference is that females are more interested in the emotional world and males in the mental.

Now some have a problem with the idea that the higher plane has power over the lower or the mind over the emotions but consider this. We all have both mind and emotion within us. Which has the ultimate say? Indeed, the emotions are very powerful and will have their way if the mind acquiesces, but the mind has ultimate power to step in and make the final decision.

For instance, many of us have been romantically attracted to someone who would be a disaster to marry. One may feel like continuing the relationship, but if the mind makes a “no” decision on the matter then the relationship will be terminated. The mind is the ultimate decider between the two, even though it can yield at times to emotional pressure.

We can only do what we feel when the mind allows.

The fourth plane up is the plane of intuition also called the Buddhic. Again, this is dominated by the female.

Those using the mind will often reach a dead end in the discovery of true knowledge. For instance, the greatest of scientific minds cannot figure out how a living cell came to be. The intuition can access all knowledge that is hidden from the mind

So, in the case of a male associated with an intuitive female would we say that this is a terrible thing for the guy?

No. If he is smart he will listen to the female and seek to use her intuition to fill in the gaps in mental understanding.

Now males also have intuition available, but the female places more attention on it, and for her it is the line of least resistance.

The fifth plane up is the Atmic, the plane of unlimited ideas and this again is dominated by the male.

The sixth plane is that of the monad the source of life itself and this is dominated by the female.

So in total here you have six planes. Three dominated by the female and three by the male producing perfect balance.

The seventh plane up is Divine Space and this is where all things in our universe of time and space originate. This is thought to be considered slightly male – something which has puzzled scientists. They say that after the Big Bang there should have been an even distribution of positive and negative matter which should have cancelled each other out, but for some reason we have a created a universe of positive matter rather than anti matter – or no matter at all.

Thus we are left with trillions of stars which radiate (male energy) or that which is slightly positivel.

But what is interesting is that matter as we know it is only a very small part of our universe. 99.9999+ percent of it is seemingly empty space. Except now are discovering that space is not really empty after all, and if it is indeed something, it would be the opposite duality of positive matter and be female. If invisible space is female then the universe would be dominated by the female energy.

Then some esoteric teachings tell us of an originating void which contains No Thing as we understand the term and this would be neither male or female.

The bottom line here is that it is not an insult to either the male or female to examine how the two energies play out in the universe of creation. When we realize that we have all experienced both male and female lives all bias toward the sexes goes out the window.
