The World is Still Here

A reader said he picked up some positive vibes which gave him some hope a new day is dawning.

Well, the world did not end or experience great change as many predicted for Dec 21st, 2012 but I did pick up a burst of positive energy that has been released. According to DK this release should reach a climax on the 28th during the full moon. The full moon at that time will be 5:21 AM Eastern time, 6:21 AM Central, 7:21 AM Rock Mountain and 8:21 AM Pacific. Unless you are an early riser it would probably be a good idea to meditate Thursday on the evening of the 27th just before going to sleep.

In the meantime, contemplate and meditate on linking up with the Christ and his work each day until the full moon, and afterwards as one is inclined to do.

Saying The Great Invocation, The Song of the 144,000 and especially now the Avatar invocation. Here it is again:

Speaking of the end of the world I thought I would post some of the comments I have made about the Mayan prophecy since 2004. Here they are:

“The next prediction everyone is getting upset about is a Mayan prophecy about Dec 21, 2012. Some feel that the world will end or have a big cataclysm at that date.

Here is another: “2012 will probably be like any other year with its ups and downs. It is the end of the age according to the Mayan calendar and it will be more of a change in consciousness and it will not be the end of the world. The world will continue. I will say just one more thing; there are many things that are unpredictable and many people think that our future is outlined for us, but a lot of it is not and we creating our future right now. A monkey wrench can be thrown into the works that can change a lot of things.”

“There has been an ongoing prediction about an economic collapse since I can remember. It is always floating out there, someone is always making a prediction, but someday there probably will be a collapse, so someday somebody is going to be right and it probably will not be because they are physic, but by accident. Somebody is just going to be right and periodically there are small collapses but let us hope there is not a complete collapse.

The most recent prophesy is 2012 the end of the Mayan calendar and many people are predicting the end of the world here. People are getting wiser and I noticed that when they first started talking about it there was a lot of end of world talk. Now the opinion is shifting, they are seeing all these other predictions that predicted the end of the world have not happened. Many people are changing the prediction around 2012 and saying that it just means the end of the cycle, or the end of something else and it will not be the end of the world.

I think people are waking up to the fact that there have been so many end of the world predictions out there that people are beginning to be a little more cautious about them. The end of the world will not actually come for millions of years but when you think about it we could have a lot of problems in between. We have the threat of a nuclear war and all kinds of things that could create tremendous problems but it is very unlikely that it would be the end of mankind.

From what I understand it was the end of their calendar and they saw this as the end of an age rather than the end of the world. It could be an intense time period. Let me see. Question: If the subject of Shamballa energy did not come up, would we have missed it completely?

JJ: If an energy release is to occur it will happen whether we know in advance or not and those who are sensitive will be aware of it. It is helpful to know of such a thing in advance to make sure you can give it appropriate attention.

Reader Comment: I guess that this non attention to alignment predictions could have happened before in Germany when the significant Shamballa energy was released, and perhaps Stauffenberg and some of the other Disciples didn’t realize that the Shamballa energy being released was as significant back then?

JJ: Neither the good guys or the bad guys in Germany knew anything about the Shamballa energy, but they both picked it up. Hitler had the advantage of being 18 years older than Stauffenberg and was in a situation to be able to make quicker use of it. By the time Hitler was beginning his organization Stauffenberg was still trying to formulate his philosophy and figure out what his mission was. Stauffenberg was just getting his formula of approach together when the Nazis took over and he was swept into the new order making the work of light almost impossible.

DK on The Avatar of Synthesis

Let me remind the those in the group who wish to cooperate to say the Invocation for the Avatar of Synthesis every day until Friday, the 21st and then say it three times a day and concentrate on being a receiver.

Here is the invocation for the Avatar of Synthesis:

From the center where the Will of God is known, let Purpose guide the little wills of men.

Let the One Great Life manifest His Purpose and send forth His Avatar.

Let this Master of Purpose come forth and amplify our wills to synthesize them with His own, giving us power to serve.

Let the Avatar of Synthesis manifest to the group of which I am a part.

That we may prepare the earth for the Lords of Light and Love.

Let Will and Power and Purpose manifest the Christ on earth.

Here is some additional information from DK on the Avatar which is worth some study.

Divine Embodiments. These Avatars appear rarely; and when They do, the effectiveness and results of Their work are very great. They issue forth into manifestation via the centre at Shamballa, because They are an expression of the will nature of Deity; They embody divine purpose; the energy pouring through Them and transmitted by Them is focussed through the Lord of the World; They can only be reached by the united voices of the Hierarchy and of humanity speaking in unison; Their service is evoked only by realised need, and only after those who call Them forth have added to their faith strenuous action and have done their utmost, alone and unaided, to overcome evil.

They never descend lower than the mental plane, and the main emphasis and attention of Their work is directed to the Hierarchy; the Hierarchy is Their transmitting agency; They occasionally reach those thinking people, focussed on the mental plane, who have clear vision, potent resolve, directed will and open minds, plus of course, essential purity of form. These Avatars express the Will of God, the energy of Shamballa, and the impulse lying behind divine purpose. When They do come forth, it will be the destroyer aspect of the first ray of power which They will express; They bring about death the death of all old and limiting forms and of that which houses evil. Their work will, therefore, fall into two categories:

They will destroy the forces of evil, using the agency of the Forces of Light.
They will reveal as much of the divine purpose as humanity is able to grasp through its best minds and most dedicated aspirants; They will clarify the vision of the world disciples and of all who have the disciplined will-to-know and who are dedicated to and expressive of the will-to-good. This knowledge and this will are needed in the coming period of readjustment.

How They will bring the present evil conditions to an end and how They will destroy the present evil state of materialistic aggression I may not reveal. It is not yet certain that human development and understanding and the massed intent of humanity will be adequate to the needed demand and strong enough to call Them forth. Time alone can determine that. God grant that the aspirants and disciples of the world will awaken to the opportunity and the imminent and waiting possibility. The plight of vast groups of people upon the planet today lies heavy upon the heart of the Hierarchy. But to bring release and the Appearance of the Power that can liberate, human cooperation is needed. Nowhere is this more desperately needed than among the German people in their unhappy land. God grant, therefore, that those Germans who have vision may join the forces of those who are seeking to free Germany and the German people from the imposed tyranny of the evil Lodge, working through their seven representatives in Germany. Once the Germans who are living free lives in other lands can think in terms of humanity as a whole and not in terms of national glamours, revenge or self-pity, then their voices will be added to those of the other free peoples and to those of the aspirants and disciples in all other nations.

When the Avatar comes He will convey to humanity something for which we have as yet no true name. It is neither love nor will as we understand them. Only a phrase of several words can convey something of the significance and then only feebly. This phrase is “the principle of directed purpose.” This principle involves three factors:

Understanding [intuitive and instinctual, but intelligently interpreted] of the plan as it can be worked out in the immediate future.
Focussed intention, based on the above and emphasising an aspect of the will, hitherto undeveloped in man.
Capacity to direct energy [through understanding and intent] towards a recognised and desired end, overcoming all obstacles and destroying all that stands in the way. This is not destruction of forms by force such as is now being imposed on the world, but a destruction brought about by the greatly strengthened life within the form. Only the next one hundred years will reveal the significance of this statement and then only if the massed intent of the people evokes this Avatar of Synthesis during the next twelve months. I have called this Being by this name because it expresses the quality and the objective of the force He brings and wields. Another and lesser Avatar is also awaiting a call from humanity. He is esoterically related to the Avatar of Synthesis, being overshadowed by Him. This Avatar can descend on to the physical plane into outer expression and can thus step down and transmit the stimulation and quality of the force of the greater Avatar Who can come no nearer than the mental plane. Who this Coming One may be is not yet revealed. It may be the Christ, if His other work permits; it may be One chosen by Him to issue forth, overshadowed by the Avatar of Synthesis and directed in His activities by the Christ, the Lord of Love. In this way, the energies of both Shamballa and the Hierarchy will be focussed through the chosen Coming One. Thus a triangle of loving, purposeful energy will be created which may prove a more effective way of releasing energy and a safer way, than the focussed impact of one selected force might be.

I realise the difficulty of this subject and perhaps may simplify the matter by a brief summation:

A great cosmic Avatar can come if the Hierarchy and humanity can stand together with massed intent.
He will descend into the three worlds of human endeavour, but no nearer than the mental plane.
He will transmit a cosmic energy whose quality is Synthesis. This will express itself through harmony and unity, producing necessarily understanding, promoting goodwill, and eventually ending the separative, isolating tendencies of mankind.
His note and vibration can only be sensed by those whose individual note is also synthesis and whose life objective is the will-to-good. These are consequently the Members of the Hierarchy, the disciples and aspirants of the world and a few of the men of goodwill.
A Messenger or Avatar of equal rank to the Christ in the Hierarchy [or possibly Christ Himself] may come forth as the Representative of the Avatar of Synthesis and as His transmitting Agent.
This lesser Avatar works today as one of the senior Members of the Great White Lodge and is in close touch with the Christ, with the Manu and with the Lord of Civilisation, the Master R.; He will act as the Coordinator between the Hierarchy and Shamballa. He will fuse and blend in Himself, through the quality of His Own life, the three great energies:

The will-to-spiritual power. The will-to-love in its spiritual connotation. The will-to-manifest spiritually.

The antiquity of the achievement of this Coming One is to be found in the name applied to Him, which is found in so many of the world Scriptures: The Rider on the White Horse. This refers to the time prior to the phrase so well-known in the Christian fields: “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” In the earlier cycle, the then initiates spoke of the “sacrificial horse, slain to all eternity.” It conveys the same basic idea.
This Avatar can descend to the physical plane and there appear, to lead His people as the Prince Who leads through war to peace. d. The whole problem before the Hierarchy and humanity today, in connection with the coming Avatar, can be summed up in the following four questions:

Can He bring the energy of synthesis with Him, thereby bringing about rapid changes?

This depends upon His being overshadowed by the Avatar of Synthesis and upon that Avatar being evoked through the demand and the massed intent of humanity, aided by the Hierarchy.

Will the demand of the people be strong enough to evoke the higher potency, or will it be too feeble because of the failure of the world disciples and aspirants to focus this massed intent throughout the planet?

Will the higher overshadowing not take place and only the lesser Avatar come to institute a slower method of gradual reform?

This slower method will be necessitated only if and because humanity will have demonstrated its inability to call forth and receive the higher measure and more potent vibration of divine energy. It is entirely for the decision of the world disciples and aspirants; not the decision of poor bewildered, deluded humanity. Will the world disciples and aspirants appreciate the crisis and opportunity? They have not yet, as a whole, done so.

The Hierarchy today stands with massed intent. The cry of the masses is rising up to the very gates of Shamballa. It is stronger by far than the demand of the spiritually oriented people the disciples, the aspirants, the men of goodwill. They seem from the viewpoint of the Hierarchy to be overcome by inertia, to be engrossed by their theories and idealisms, and to be blind to the issues at stake. Can they be aroused? Can they stand with focussed intent, strenuous physical service and activity, and determined effort to struggle, even unto death, for the defeat of evil? Can they preserve the inner attitude of love and non-separateness? Can they relinquish all for love of humanity? Can they sacrifice every thing for the cause of freedom and of righteousness? This is the problem confronting Those Who are working for the appearance of the Greater and the Lesser Avatars Who can at this time save humanity if humanity desires salvation and will take the needed steps.

The Needed Steps

These steps are various in kind though one in intent. The first step is to realise clearly what are the methods whereby the Avatar can come and so reach humanity. These are the same methods, whether it is the Avatar of Synthesis, working through the Hierarchy, or the Avatar of Coordination [as I might call Him], working through humanity and representing the greater Avatar upon the physical plane.

The methods whereby Avatars reach and influence Their agents or those who respond to Their note, vibration and message are three in number.

Overshadowing. Where there is kinship in quality, in objective and in nature, it is possible for the Avatar to overshadow some Member of the Hierarchy [as in the case of the Avatar of Synthesis] or some disciple or aspirant where humanity is concerned [in the case of a lesser Avatar]. This is done through meditation, through a directed stream of thought energy, the presentation of a thoughtform and the evocation of the focussed will of the one who is overshadowed. All this proceeds rapidly where there is close cooperation between the latter [the sensitive responding disciple] and the Avatar. The Christ is today in very close rapport with the Avatar of Synthesis, and this rapport will continue, becoming closer and closer until the Full Moon of June; He is giving all possible aid, as is His Brother, the Buddha. It is this which makes the coming Full Moon of May of such supreme importance.

A group of Masters and initiates Who are specially related to the Christ’s department, as well as a group working under the Master M., are endeavouring to respond to this overshadowing which is only possible even to Them when transmitted to Them by the Christ. [I talk here of mysteries.] It will therefore be apparent to you that, as They succeed and become increasingly sensitive to and aware of this overshadowing energy of the great Avatar, Their disciples on earth can also in a dim and faint way become responsive to the ideas that are formulated in the mind of their particular Master in response to avataric impression. Ponder on this.

Inspiration. This is more direct than overshadowing and more potent in results. Certain Members of the Hierarchy and, above all, the lesser Avatars, are inspired from “on high” by the cosmic Avatar and become at times direct expressions of His mind, His energy and His plans. This is the spiritual correspondence to obsession. In the case of obsession, a man is taken possession of and inspired by some evil entity; in inspiration, there is no possession but only what is called “identical response”a very different thing. In the one case, the free will and intelligent understanding of the Master or the disciple is enlisted on the side of the spiritual Agent; the spiritual man, functioning as a soul, becomes the channel for forces, ideas and activities other than his own but to which he gives full intuitive assent. It is all carried forward with full understanding and consciousness of method, process and results. It is an act of free spiritual cooperation, for the good of humanity, in the work of a great spiritual Force or Being. The cooperation of the Master Jesus with the Christ is a case in point. In connection with the coming Avatar, it may involve the cooperation of the Christ or of a “kindred, equal soul” with a cosmic Being or Presence, taking place on still higher spiritual levels of consciousness and producing an incredibly focussed potency.

In the case of obsession, the evil force enslaves the personality which, in the majority of cases, is but a shell. Of this, Hitler is a case in point. This produces greater potency on the physical plane and on the astral plane; it is quicker and more immediate in results, but the lasting power is less and the effects are relatively temporary.

In the processes of inspiration, the lesser Avatar through His life and contacts in the three worlds will necessarily influence sensitive, spiritually oriented disciples and aspirants, and thus the inspiration coming from the cosmic Avatar becomes in time a group inspiration, and therefore can be more safely handled. This group inspiration can happen today. If it does, there will then be a simultaneous appearing of the cosmic Avatar, the World Saviour in the Person of the lesser Avatar, and at the same time a group saviour, composed of responsive disciples and world servers. Ponder again on this.

In this way, if you will note carefully, there is established a direct linked chain from humanity, via the Hierarchy, to Shamballa. The Hierarchy is working at the establishing of this chain, aided by Their disciples. The demand for the cooperation of all aspirants is now going forth, because the times are urgent. If this relationship can be established [and it will be a sad day for humanity if it cannot], then the third method of avataric expression becomes possible.

Appearance or Manifestation. Every possible step has been taken by the Hierarchy to enable the Avatar, the Coming One, to appear. What these steps are cannot be declared here. Only some questions, suggesting possibility, are permissible. Think you that His body of manifestation is already on Earth, waiting to be overshadowed, inspired and used at the right time, as was the vehicle of the Master Jesus by the Christ? There are those who say that it is waiting and has been waiting for 22 years. Is it possible that there will be a sudden descent of the Prince of Light and Peace to change present conditions by the effectiveness of His radiance and His message? There are those who look for Him to suddenly appear, and they number millions of expectant people. Some say He is already on His way. Is it possible that this Wesak Festival will see Him approach nearer to the Hierarchy and make a contact with Them? Some say it will take place. Can the “massed intent” of humanity evoke response and lead to the appearance on Earth of the lesser Avatar? Some say nothing can stop it. Prophecy, expectation and the present time cycle testify to the opportunity. This possible dual event the coming of the Avatar of Synthesis to the Hierarchy and of the lesser Avatar, His Representative, to humanity can be a probable happening if the world disciples and aspirants measure up to the opportunity.

The Immediate Task

I enter upon my concluding remarks wondering if anything I can say will awaken disciples to the needed spiritual efforta spiritual effort which must find expression in physical plane decisions and activity. A certain aspect of physical plane effort is already being undertaken by them through very force of circumstance: Red Cross activity in every land, response to urgent, surrounding, physical need, and the mobilisation of their time and resources by leaders in all countries are the keynotes of the time. But it is the inner spiritual activity and orientation [paralleling the outer activity] which is required. This is an activity which is preceded by clear factual thinking and decision. Can the world disciples and aspirants evidence this full life on all levels? Are they capable of an intensive inner life as well as of unflagging attention to outer duty and demands? This is the problem. Are they capable of laying aside their own pet theories and trifling ideals [trifling in the face of the appalling world situation] and focus every possible effort on fighting evil upon the physical plane, as well as on other levels, with every possible agency? Can they at the same time live that dynamic life of thought and inclusive comprehension which will find expression in the voiced appeal to the Avatar? It is feeling and fanatical adherence to a loved ideal which frequently stand between a disciple and effective service on the physical plane. It is old habits of thought and the determined effort to interpose some mystical dream between conditions as they are and conditions as they could be, if disciples took right action, which have prevented effective service.

But, my brother, all things have to become new and that means a new vision, a new idealism, and a new life technique. Past ideals, past dreams and past efforts to tread the Path and express brotherhood have produced most successfully a certain changed attitude in the race, a new orientation to the life of the spirit, and a focussed intention to move forward. That was the desired goal and that goal has now been reached.

The right attitude is now present in many people in every race, and it is the recognition of this which has called forth the activity of the Brothers of the Shadow at this time. They realise that the time of their power is shortening. The hold of the materialistic values over man is steadily becoming weaker. So far has man progressed that there are enough people in the world today to turn the tide if they can be aroused from their apathy.

I tried to arouse them to speed and clear thinking between the years 1932-1938 but though something was accomplished, it was not enough. The blindness, illusion, separativeness and inertia of the aspirants of the world today constitute one of the factors with which the Hierarchy has to contend. Aspirants are preoccupied with their own little affairs and with their own small efforts, instead of relinquishing everything in an endeavour to unite on the needed appeal and activity. They are contending for their own interpretations of truth, and for their pet ideals of peace, living or work and like Nero they “fiddle whilst Rome burns.” All their lives they have fought for an ideal and a dream, and they love that more than they love humanity. Yet all that is needed is such a deep love of humanity that it works out on all levels of activity and all life effort. If the idealists of the world would realise the situation as it is, they would relinquish all that they hold dear and come to the rescue of humanity, and thus snatch the helpless masses back from slavery and death. They would battle for the freedom of the human soul with every weapon in the armory of mankind. They would hold back the forces of aggression by force itself if need be. They would aim at clear thinking, and thus clear the channel for the inflow of spiritual force. The major prerequisites today for true world service are an overwhelming love of humanity and a sense of proportion. The only requirements today for disciples and aspirants may be summed up as follows:

The doing of everything possible to bring the war to an end. Every physical plane method must be used to drive the forces of evil and of cruelty back to their dark place. Physical plane methods, when motivated by unchanging love of humanity and under the direction of an enlightened soul, become agents of righteousness. There are worse things than the death of the physical body; there is the enslaving of the human soul.
The focussing of the inner life towards the Hierarchy in radiant faith. The way of the Coming One must be made clear, and the life force must be dedicated to the outer life of compassion.
The clarifying of the mental life in the pure light of the soul. Disciples live too much in the world of feeling; hence the clouding of their vision. When they have clarified their minds and see the situation whole, they can then appeal to the Avatar to make His appearance. This appeal must be made via the Christ.
Disciples must endeavour to understand what are the objectives of the Avatar, and thus fit themselves to cooperate.

The second step is to understand clearly what is the task which must be undertaken in preparation for the Coming One. This entails four things:

The effort to stand with all other disciples and aspirants in an attempt to call forth the Avatar, to reach Him by focussed intensive thought and to evoke His response. This is the purpose of the new Invocation. It voices intent, makes demand and pledges cooperation.
The providing of a nucleus or group through which the Avatar of Synthesis can work when the lesser Avatar has come forth upon the physical plane. This involves individual activity, the sounding out of a clear note, based on clear mental perception, the recognition of those allied in the work and the development of conscious group work. In this group work the personality is subordinated and only the following determinations are dominant:
The determination to offer group service as a group to the world group.
The determination to establish right human relations upon the planet.
The determination to develop everywhere the spirit of goodwill.
The determination to withstand evil through planned group activity.
To construct a network of light and service in every land. This is begun in the individual environment of the server, and gradually extended throughout the world. It was with this idea in view that I suggested the forming of triangles of people, pledged to use the Invocation and to extend its use through the world. It is my specific plan to help mass world thought and thus evoke the Avatar, and likewise to provide a world group through which the new forces and energies can function, the new ideas can spread. and the coming world order find adherents.
To prepare the general public for the Coming One by pointing out the testimony of the past, the recognition of the universal need for divine intervention and the holding out of hope to the distressed, the doubting and the tortured. In His appearance lies hope, and history testifies that it has frequently happened at times of world crisis.

Such are the possibilities which I present to your understanding. I have told and taught you much in past years. I have often asked for your cooperation and your help in world service. Some have responded and given help. Many have longed to aid. The majority have done little or nothing. In this moment of crisis [within the world crisis] I again ask for your cooperation and leave you to make your decision.

May the love of God and of your fellowmen inspire you; the light of your souls direct you and the strength of the group enable you to aid in bringing good out of the present evil by right action and clear thinking. Externalization of the Hierarchy, Pg 303-313

The Use of Shamballa Energy

A reader quotes this from the Bailey writings:

“In 1942, there will come another PLANETARY INFLOW of which we are all begged to avail ourselves, and for which we are urged to make due preparation. This ‘week of group impact,’ occurring EVERY SEVEN YEARS, will run from December 21st till DECEMBER 28TH, and if this should at any time fall at the period of the FULL MOON, the opportunity will be MOST SIGNIFICANT. This possibility must be watched. This week should be regarded as pre-eminently the ‘festival week’ of the New Group of World Servers, and AFTER 1942 advantage must be taken of this period, and special PREPARATION made. This fact invites the attention of all of us.” Esoteric Psychology II, P 195 [capitalization emphasis mine]

So the Friday after Christmas meets all the criteria for a time of heavy inflow of the type of energy the lights were supposed to take advantage of in 1942 but failed. First, it occurs every 7 years, and it is now 70 years hence [7×10]. Second, the full moon falls on the 28th which date is within the range of “most significant” opportunity.

So here’s hoping that all true World Servers are now preparing for this as admonished by DK.

JJ: Great discovery of that DK quote. Normally I do not pay that much attention to alignment predictions, but because DK is an earned authority with me I will pay extra attention to this one. Apparently, this is a cyclic period of planetary inflow and the seven tens plus the full moon does indeed seem to make this one significant. This ironically coincides with e Mayan prophecy. This would be a good time for individuals to concentrate on picking up inspiration from higher lives and the group as a whole to meditate and send energy for the success of the work of light and for the greater dissemination of the teachings.

Shamballa Energy

A reader quotes me: “Now the Shamballa energy has been released again. It is more important than you know that the Workers of Light tune into it to bring down the baptism of fire. There is a certain window of opportunity that we now have, but it will not stay open forever.”

Then she asks: Did we/you miss that opportunity back then? If energy was released in 2008, then the next 7 year cycle would be 2015?

JJ: That wasn’t written in 2008 but in 1994. In this series I gave out some past teachings that I gave out to a group on AOL before the Keys list was formed.

I picked up my first and largest dose of the Shamballa energies in 1978. It set my mind on my life’s mission to create positive change for humanity. Since that time I have felt it in circulation a couple of times but never as strong as it was back then.

Just because a disciple or dark worker tunes into its reverberation does not mean explosive things are going to immediately happen or even that the worker will be successful. It merely means that the ideas that can transform the world are put in circulation. However, when the Shamballa energy is in circulation the disciple will have a greater than usual inner drive that propels him toward change.

Right now, as far as my work is concerned, all the ingredients inspired by the Shamballa energy are in place, but the energy itself is at a low ebb. There is a possibility that there may be a new release during the Dec 21-28 cycle of this year. Time will tell.

Another reader asks: Was the time you picked up the Shamballa energy the same time that when you first discovered the principle of the Molecular Relationship? If not, can you tell us what it was that showed up in your life at that time? And, has it changed or shifted or evolved since then? Of course if any of this is personal or otherwise not mesaage board fodder, no problem.

JJ: Yes, it was shortly after I received the Molecular Relationship that I consciously perceived this energy. In reality it is not energy as we normally think of it, but it rearranges and moves energy through the consciousness of receivers.

Right now, as far as my work is concerned, all the ingredients inspired by the Shamballa energy are in place, but the energy itself is at a low ebb.

Reader: Why might that be?

JJ: There are windows of opportunity that open and close in cycles. I try and follow the example of Paul and work “in season and out of season.” That way the worker is prepared when a new day of opportunity comes.

Because we are on the cusp of a greater new age disciples on the Right and Left are having difficulty in using the Shamballa energy toward solid ends. Fortunately for us, a new Hitler has not surfaced who has picked it up though Obama may have picked up a dose of it back in the 1990s.

When accessed, the results are quicker on the path of materialism and slower but more permanent on the path of light.

Another reader writes: It sounds like you’re saying that Shamballa energy can be picked up and used by a Hitler-type. I would have thought that energy from a good source would resonate with the good guys but not with the bad guys because they’d be tuned in to a totally different wavelength, so to speak. What makes it a source of power for either side?

JJ: The energies of the rays are like gravity. They are neither good or evil but can be used in either direction.

For instance, both Jesus and Hitler had seven centers and were influenced by the energy of the seven rays. Obviously, they used those energies in different directions.

Let us suppose that superhuman powers decided it would be an advantage for us as a whole if they increased the power of gravity. A stone that used to weight 100 pounds now weighs 150 pounds. A bad guy pushes a guy off a ledge and uses this extra gravity to do extra damage. On the other hand, a good guy uses the extra gravity to produce additional energy with hydropower. The increase of gravity could be used for good or evil but the end situation would be the result of an intelligent design.

Preparation for the New Energy

I read before and after the quote about the full moon cycle of Dec 22-28 and discovered that DK indicates that the energies of Capricorn will be augmented by this inflowing energy. Capricorn is symbolized by the mountain goat, which is able to overcome all obstacles and scale to the top of the mountain peak. If Capricorn energies are enhanced the disciple will have greater power to achieve.

A reader’s question caused me to reflect and as I did the inner voice spoke and said:

“Remember the invocation for the Avatar of Synthesis. Now is the time to put it to use.”

To refresh your memory, DK spoke of this avatar as one from another solar system that is coming here to assist the Christ. The Christ is second ray energy but this avatar adds power since he is on the first ray. He can only descend to the mental place so disciples must raise their consciousness there to share his consciousness.

Here is the invocation for the Avatar of Synthesis:

From the center where the Will of God is known, let Purpose guide the little wills of men.

Let the One Great Life manifest His Purpose and send forth His Avatar.

Let this Master of Purpose come forth and amplify our wills to synthesize them with His own, giving us power to serve.

Let the Avatar of Synthesis manifest to the group of which I am a part. That we may prepare the earth for the Lords of Light and Love.

Let Will and Power and Purpose manifest the Christ on earth.

Those that wish to prepare for this inflow of energy should begin saying this every day until the 21st and then say it three times a day until the 28th. Those who have experiences or impressions should share them here on the forum.

In the Days of Noah

A reader expressed interest in knowing more of my views on the predictions in Matthew, chapter 24.

I have written some about the scripture in question. This first quote is from The Gathering of Lights.

Concerning the gathering Jesus gave another short parable. He talked about Noah and the days of Lot where the righteous were gathered out from the unjust and prophesied of the future: “I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord?…

They wanted to know where those who are the “elect” would be taken. Unfortunately, most born again Christians teach the unrealistic doctrine that they will be raptured into heaven, but Jesus said unto them: “Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be GATHERED TOGETHER.” Luke 17:34-37 Compare Matt 24:28.

The word “body” here is a symbol of the body of Christ or a group of those with the Christ consciousness and the “eagles” are a symbol of the Israelites [enlightened ones]. In addition, there is another correspondence here. “Body” comes from the Greek SOMA which is a derivative of SOZO. SOZO is the word that is translated as “save” throughout the New Testament, but literally means deliverance.

“Eagle” comes from AETOS which is derived from AER which means flair” or “breath” and is the word from whence the modern word “air” is derived. Air is a symbol of the mind, of those who have risen above the emotional waters of life. The eagle is a symbol of freedom. The eagle flies through the air, or ‘the world of the mind and wisdom with great freedom. “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”. The eagle is also a symbol of a free government. AETOS is a good word to correspond to spiritual Israelites for they live in the plane of the mind and love freedom of thought.

The core meaning of the scripture could read: “Where ever deliverance or salvation is, there will the Israelites (the enlightened) be gathered together.”

Interestingly, the scriptures tell us that one of the main purposes of the gathering is deliverance, and possible physical as well as spiritual protection. How much protection we will need depends on the free will of man and the steps he takes towards peace in the near future. If he is wise then the deliverance talked of will be of a spiritual nature, but if he is not and there is a World War III or earth changes, then a physical deliverance will be necessary.

This second is from The Literal Gathering: An examination of the Greek words involved here will give us further light on the interpretation. In the scripture Jesus compares his coming with the days of Noah, that the people were unprepared then and adds: “so shall be the coming of the son of Man.” Matt 24:37 Then “two men shall be in the field; one is taken and one is left…” Luke 17:36 Two key words here are “taken” and “left”. Taken here comes from the Greek word PARALAMBANO which literally means “to accept or receive into a close relationship”. The word “left” comes from the Greek APHIEMI which literally means “to send away”. Thus if we translate the scripture according to the true meaning we have: “Then two men shall be in the field; one shall be received into full fellowship [By the Christ] and the other one shall be sent away.” This agrees with the inspired Version which says that the unworthy “should be cut off from among the people” in that day. …

This is all reiterated in the parable of the Virgins which follows the rapture scripture: “And then, at that day, before the Son of man comes, the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and WENT FORTH [Gathered together] to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five of them were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps [meaning they did all things that were physically necessary] and took no oil with them [they were not spiritually prepared and depended on others for their strength]; but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps [these had the Holy Spirit and light within them]. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all these virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out [Stay with us and teach us for without you to lean on we cannot stand.] But the wise answered, saying, lest there not be enough for us and you, go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves. [We will retrogress and loose the Spirit if we stay any longer with you. Go and find other teachers to help you prepare]. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; [Notice that he came when only the five wise virgins were gathered] and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage; and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, Ye know me not. Watch therefore; for ye know neither the day not the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” Matt 25:1-12 Inspired Ver.

Initiation

Not all will achieve the high initiations during this earth existence. DK tells us that 60% of us will graduate when these planetary lessons are finished. To achieve this, one needs to move out of emotional polarization to the mind or higher. The 40% who do not graduate will have to take many of their lessons over again on another planet while the rest will separate and move on. When this happens there still will not be a high percentage of fifth degree initiates but much more than now. As more people become initiates the circumstances for initiation may change some but the moving forward in consciousness will be essentially the same.

After the disciple has successfully circumvented the fourth initiation, he has released himself from attachment which is the cause of most pain and from that point on doesn’t suffer the regular pain of humanity – unless he is in a mortal body. In that case, he is subject to normal physical discomforts.

Common Sense

This account may help explain to the unthinking why it makes no sense to borrow money the way our nation does.

Mr. Brown wanted to get a lot of stuff but he didn’t have the money to fulfill all his desires. Then he received a credit card with no limit. The only negative was he had to pay the interest.

To get all the stuff he wanted he borrowed 40 cents for each dollar he spent and paid off none of the principle, but only the interest. After a time, he approached a crisis where even paying the interest was difficult and sought for advice.

A friend told him that he must cut back on his spending and work toward balancing his budget. He should work toward paying for his desired stuff as he goes. The cutbacks will be difficult but necessary.

Brown tried this for a while and found himself struggling so he blamed his friend for giving bad advice.

Mr. Brown sought out another friend. This friend sympathized with him and said, “I like lots of stuff too so I’d say don’t cut back but spend more than ever. The future will take care of itself.”

Mr. Brown liked this idea and spent like crazy.

Finally, the credit card company became alarmed and cut off his credit. He could borrow no more. Furthermore, they demanded not only the interest, but payment on the principle.

This time Mr. Brown had to make real cutbacks. He had to stop buying all his goodies and this life was miserable.

On reflection he blamed his second friend as a crazy man and recognized the first as the wise one.

Steps to Zion

A reader gave this quote: “If a group were to build an entire city after the order of the New Jerusalem, and the inhabitants themselves were seeking the New Jerusalem consciousness then the entire city could be filled with light. First, a highly refined spiritual light, and finally a materialized physical light so that from a distance others would see Zion as “a flame of fire by night” [See Isaiah 4:5.] as Isaiah said.

The New Jerusalem sequence also puts the forces within the city in harmony with nature so the inhabitants have the correct rain in their season, and have no fierce winds or great storms. The earth cooperates with the living city and brings forth an abundant harvest and dresses the city with beautiful flowers, plants, and smells to bring gladness to the heart of those who breath the scented air that permeates them.” http://www.freeread.com/archives/1028.html

I thought that I should elaborate on this somewhat for clarification.

Sometimes when we speak of Zion, seekers envision its creation as a one step process. That is a group of spiritual people will gather together and there it will be – a city of light perfectly run, drawing upon the powers of heaven.

The truth is the creation of Zion involves numerous steps over a fairly long period of time.

The beginning seed was initiated in the minds of prophets and spiritual people millennia ago and nurtured by many until the time of Jesus who also dreamed of its creation. But even he saw that the world was not ready for the gathering of lights. He exclaimed:

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

“Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” Matt 23:37-39

Jesus wanted to gather the lights and create Zion but the darkness was too great even for this great soul to overcome.

Progress was slow over the centuries. The next major step happened with the discovery of America. The promise of building a better world was held out and those who sought for a greater society gathered there. The gathering in the new land did not yield perfection but it did lead to the creation of a greatly improved governing system, much more sensitive to the needs of the people than the authoritarian kings of the past.

In the new land there sprung up numerous spiritual movements that gathered seekers together. The most notable was Mormonism, which actively sought the creation of the Zion of prophecy. They had many problems and the vision of Zion has faded and now exists only as a dream in a fairly orthodox religion. Still, seeds of Zion were planted and yet lingers in the hearts of the faithful.

Today we stand at the threshold of the next step, but it will not be the final one. The next step will be similar to the one that created the United States with one main difference. The creation of this country was not a planned event by society but occurred rather naturally with the discovery of a new land.

The next stage will be a planned event. The lights will build intentional communities on land and on the sea. Just like the motivating factor that caused many to gather in America [the prospect of greater freedom and opportunity] even so shall it be again. Most will not gather with us for obvious spiritual reasons, but for the prospect of greater freedom and opportunities as well as associating with like-minded souls.

This next stage of gathering will face many problems. Not all gathered will be pure in heart and some will create problems. Even so, the people involved, as a whole, will have the highest vibration of any group on the planet and will attract the attention of the Spirit of the planet. Even though the vibration is not likely to be high enough to create a visible light and guarantee safety in all situations the earth itself will take the group under its wing and insure is survival so long as the vibration remains at a certain frequency or higher.

After this next stage of the gathering is secure the lights will create a gathering from the gathered and seek to build the spiritual Zion. This will take a number of attempts to perfect and I dare not say how many years hence it will be but the time will indeed come that the ancient vision of the prophets will become a reality.

Someone expressed concern about the safety of those first gathered. For instance, pirates could attack us at sea or a nation could turn on us on land.

For this reason, the gathering on a new land should not commence until we have the numbers and the wealth necessary to insure our preservation. To prepare for this, like-minded groups will be created in various parts of the world and when circumstances are right and a critical mass is reached the next major step will begin.

Money and Judgment

A reader disagreed with the idea of paying kids to read books so I made additional comments:

Yes, it is quite obvious that continuing to pay students to develop a love of a thing will not increase or decrease the love of that thing. I have said nothing contrary to this.

I did say this. That had I been paid years earlier to read a book I would have discovered earlier the rewards of reading and would have had several years head start beyond that which happened. As it was, I still required incentive to develop a love of reading – boredom. Boredom forced me toward my discovery of the benefits or reading, but money could have done the same thing.

My point in my post is that judgment is the key to using money as an incentive and that is a point not covered in any research. Research generally uses black and white parameters with little or no judgment involved.

For instance, good judgment would indicate that money would not be much incentive to read books for a kid that already loves to read. On the other hand, good judgment in the use of money can help even a good reader to increase their knowledge.

Let’s suppose the kid has a part time job to earn money for something important in his life. The kid mentions to the parent that he wishes he had more time to read books, but his job seems to take most it.

The parent sees the value of the kids desire for knowledge and replies, “I’ll tell you what. If you will indeed spend your spare time in reading you can quit your job and I’ll pay you to read instead. How does that sound?”

The kid is thrilled and is much happier to get paid for reading than dreary work. It’s a win win in his book.

Money can be an incentive to any chosen action, but it is not an incentive to create love. It can push in a direction so you can discover something you love or provide the free time so you can do what you love.

Reader: Your overall reply you are basically saying that paying kids to read is good because it gets them interested in books that it’s beneficial. That was your argument you were making yes?

JJ: No. That’s not what I was saying. I was saying that if one uses good judgment in providing incentive through the use of money the results can be positive. If good judgment is not used the results can be mixed or negative.

Reader: Paying kids to read that adds an extra incentive factor into the mix, that interferes with the natural incentive [called intrinsic incentive] needed to fulfill certain ambitions that is to do with self esteem and satisfaction of obtaining a self set goal [that cannot be brought and monetary rewards only interferes with that process]

JJ: Concerning some black and white program with no judgment involved such as paying kids a set amount to read books I don’t see the results as 100% bad the way you seem to but mixed.

The bad is that the kid is not relying on his own incentive and if the program continues too long he may not read much unless he has outside incentive.

The good is that he reads books he otherwise would not have read and will have the knowledge in his head the rest of his life. In some cases the habit of reading will grow into a love of reading that will continue with him when the payments cease.

The reader maintains that research backs up the idea that paying kids to read does not work.

JJ: You do not provide enough information about the research for us to even make a judgment on it.

You’re being black and white here, allowing no room for judgment. Suppose we applied this reasoning to a study that says that kids who watch TV are not as smart as those who do not watch it. By your reasoning then kids should never watch TV.

On the other hand, a parent with good judgment can guide the kid to watching programs that will stimulate his learning that will be missed by the kid with no TV.

You are wrong to say point blank that money cannot be used as a good incentive to read if good judgment is used. As I said, if my parents had promised me $10 to read a book at the age of ten, I think that would have been a great help.

Reader: But you have gone back to “it’s a judgment”, as your point. And my point is that the theory established on it already says paying them to read is not productive to their well-being.

So you are trying to bypass the incentive theory here and ignore the research, by making your own logic up on it again.

JJ: I’m not bypassing it but speaking from the wholeness viewpoint on the overall principle of being motivated by money. Any incentive theory is just part of the principle involved.

Reader: But this is completely different to our initial issue and you have thrown a totally different condition in there now. You are adding variables into the subject.

JJ: That is what I do here. If you want a teacher that follows black and white protocol and is 100% predictable you are in the wrong place. Follow what I say and comment on my actual words and you will be less discombobulated.

Reader: By the time the student learns or appreciates the value in reading, he’s going to be left with the fact that he was paid, to do so and the one paying could take credit. And this is an assault to their goal setting initiative and overall capability at the task at hand.

JJ Your statement makes no sense. First, if I had a teacher that wanted to take more credit than he deserved or was just feeding his ego with my success I’d tell him where to go. I’d neither give him glory neither would I allow him to take away any of mine. He would in no way interfere with me basking in the gory of my own accomplishments with or without him.

Then linking money to the teacher doesn’t correspond much. Money has been partially responsible for a lot of things I have done in my life, from going to college to learning a number of valuable skills. I don’t go around moping “I am unworthy” because money is involved.

Another reader says: I think JJ was exactly right that many people have an emotional blind spot about money. I think the guy shows every symptom of judging anything as bad if it involves money.

JJ: He’s certainly got me wrong. My life is not built around monetary gain and there are many things that money cannot buy from me, but if someone offered me $1000 to read a book, I would probably do it, for there would be no harm and I might learn something.

I wanted to leave this convoluted conversation of paying kids to read, but on reflection I thought I would say a few more things – in the hope of presenting some clarification.

Let me recap the history.

I posted a video by Michael Sandel who supports the theory that paying kids to read books has negative results and asked the group what they thought.

After the group response I posted my overall view which was basically this. Money can be used as in incentive for almost anything and in some cases the results will be positive and in others negative. One must use good judgment on a case-by-case basis if he wants positive results.

For some reason my answer inflamed one member who not only thought this was totally wrong but accused me of changing the subject.

I think the key to his thinking here is to look at why he accuses me of changing the subject and here is my conclusion.

I think that hew was wanting me to give a black and white answer that didn’t involve the concept of judgment. He wanted me to either say paying kids to read is 100% a good thing of 100% a bad thing. He didn’t want me to give any answer that was in between the extremes.

The reason, I see as twofold.

[1] Of late he is bent on proving me to be wrong and if I gave a black-and-white-paying-kids-to-read-is-good answer then he felt he had the necessary ammunition to go after me.

[2] He sees money as evil, except for buying necessities, and if the case is made that paying kids to read is sometimes helpful then this goes against his mindset and cannot be accepted.

So the problem boils down to this. He wanted to argue on black and white letter of the law turf and not on anything involving judgment or exceptions. Even if I had said that paying kids to read was bad 90% of the time and good 10% of the time he would have been upset and attacked me over the 10%, as if I had said 100%. That’s the way black and white thinking works. Even a 1% exception is like 100% to them. I am 100% wrong in his mind, case closed.

The result of a mind using judgment arguing with a mind using the black and white mode is almost always misunderstanding. I have understood the reader, but he doesn’t understand me. For instance, he thinks I disagree with the research he presents. The truth is nothing I have said conflicts with his expert which says this:

“that reward can actually stifle intrinsic pleasure in learning- a prediction largely supported by available data.”

I agree with this 100%. Reward “can” stifle pleasure. Notice the use of the word “can.” This means it does not always do this but can have that effect at times. In other words, it would take judgment to see the difference and guide the outcome to success.

This is the same principle as rewarding the poor with money and food stamps. This can stifle them from achieving success, but not always. For some it will help them to survive until they can take care of themselves.

The bottom line of the whole situation here is that the guy is not arguing with me but a straw man, as we basically agree on the core principle. I just do not go along with the idea that paying a kid to read is flatly 100% bad or that paying money to create incentive is 100% evil. Each situation requires some judgment.

Positive Use of Money

I had previously asked the question as to whether it is immoral or unproductive to pay kids to read books or to entice people with money to motivate them toward a good end?

The first thing we need to do to answer this question with wisdom is to rid ourselves of bias toward money. There are many who see money as evil or the root of all evil. Interestingly, this includes not only religious people but also non-believers.

Money is a neutral energy like gravity, the rays of the sun or the wind. All can be put to destructive or constructive use depending on the intent, direction and intelligence behind them.

Many who see money as evil see it as a corrupting influence in most ways it is used. Some even refuse a high paying job in favor of a low paying one to escape the evils of possessing too much of it.

These people with a bias toward money will see evil in its use in many instances where it can produce good. For instance, a wealthy woman a while back started paying poor women to get their tubes tied so they wouldn’t bring children into a bad situation.

It is interesting that she gained some fierce opposition, not from conservatives but liberals who supported abortion but felt somehow that this approach was just plain wrong. Why? Because money was used as a motivator.

Another interesting case is the idea of paying people to donate their organs on their death. Some consider this a great way to provide a little extra inheritance for their kids. On the other hand, those who see evil in money strongly object to this and preach to us that we should be willing to donate organs of our own free will and not get paid. To get paid for such a thing is wrong they say.

But what makes it wrong? No one gets hurt and many benefit, As it is, we rely on volunteers there is always a shortage. Again, they feel paying for organs is wrong because of their bias toward money. Interestingly, they have no problem with a surgeon making a small fortune transplanting the organs.

Similarly, many of those who are against using money to motivate kids will often have a bias toward money and see it as evil. Therefore, they want to get their kids to do every good deed because they want to, not because they are paid.

To get to the truth of the matter we must first rid ourselves of this evil money bias and look at each situation objectively and use the second key of judgment. There are times when paying a child money will create a positive influence and other times when it will not. Each circumstance must be assessed with judgment.

Take myself for example. I had never read a regular book in my life until I was thirteen. Before that, all I read was comic books, which I loved. I just considered regular books boring. What changed me was the accident I had at thirteen that laid me in the hospital for a month. Friends and church members brought me all kinds of books to read. Many of them were religious which didn’t interest me at all at the time.

Finally, someone brought me a book that caught my interest. Even though the cause of the accident was me making a rocket, someone had the gall to bring me a book on rockets.

Normally, I wouldn’t have read even that, but I was so bored out of my mind with all that time on my hands that I decided to read it from cover to cover. When finished I not only had a great sense of achievement but discovered that I really enjoyed regular reading. I was hooked on books from that moment on. My only regret was that I didn’t get started earlier.

Actually, getting me started earlier would have been easy to do. If one of my parents had given me an interesting book at the age of ten and given me $5 to read it all I would have done it and made the discovery earlier.

A kid who is a true seeker at heart would not have to be paid to read every book for once he gets started, he will read a lot of his own free will. Like me he may need something to jump start him to get him going.

How about the kid who is not a seeker but just wants to get by? He may need more than a jump start. Maybe paying him whatever it takes to read a dozen books will make him realize the value of books. I wouldn’t recommend paying any kid forever to read books but if he doesn’t read much in the present the motivation of money may be just enough to direct the kid toward a new habit.

I’m a big believer in teaching kids the value of money and believe that it helps children to pay them for work that goes beyond mild chores. When a kid asks for extra money, instead of just giving it to them say, “I just happen to have a job for you so you can earn that extra money.

Each child is different so the parent will just have to do some experimenting to discover what will motivate him or her. I know that when my friend Wayne and I were growing up together we were motivated to do almost anything to earn a few extra dollars spending money. We would have gone to school dressed as dancing girls if someone would have paid us enough.

Who Should Vote?

There’s been some interesting discussion lately about whether certain people should be denied the vote. For instance, should people on welfare be allowed to vote, which vote may result in raising taxes on those who are paying for the welfare?

Logically you might compare it to a parent and child. The parent earns the money and gives the kid an allowance. Would it make sense for the parent to give the child a vote in how much the allowance should be? Many children would vote for an unreasonable amount and with no increase in assignment of chores.

I might mention this discussion is academic for the present because there is not much of a chance that any politician will recommend limiting the vote on anyone. If anything, they will try to get more people voting including illegal aliens.

Even so, the time will come that we will have opportunities to build more perfect societies so it is always good to discuss these things.

The core principle to consider is this. It is wrong that one who is not paying taxes has the power to dictate in any way how many taxes others should pay. It is the taxpayers themselves who should determine how much they want to give. Anything else leads to thievery.

Let us give a example. There are three homeless guys and a successful person with a nice home and lots of cash. Now if the successful guy decides he wants to give some of his money to help the homeless guys, this is well and good. He will secure treasure in heaven, according to Jesus.

But let us suppose the three homeless dudes force their way into his home and declare that they have just been given the right to vote how much of the producer’s money and property they can take. First, they vote three to one that they can now live in the guy’s house. Next, they vote on how much of the producer’s cash they can take. The producer says he’ll give then 10% but the majority of three vote to distribute 80%.

That doesn’t seem very fair does it? But that is what happens in our society when those who do not produce are given power to vote themselves money made by the producers.

On the other hand, the non-producers participate in society in many other ways besides making money and other things besides money affect them. There are quite a few factors in society that many non-producers should be able to have a say about.

Therefore, here is what I recommend. An elected body should not do the raising of taxes. They can recommend it, but should not be given power to actually raise them. Before taxes can be raised there should first be a referendum voted on by the actual taxpayers. If income taxes are to be raised then only those who will be affected and have to pay more should be allowed to vote on the issue.

On the other hand, sales tax usually applies to all and in this case all citizens should vote.

If property taxes are to be raised then only property owners should be allowed to vote for they are the ones who will be affected.

If Congress wants a tariff increase that will not cost citizens any cash outlay then Congress can make this type of decision.

If this basic rule is followed then taxes will never be too high. But humans are basically generous in nature and most are willing to pay what is fair.

The Fall of the Old

Reader: The only difference I have with J.J. is he believes this new age can be salvaged from the best of the old. I believe this present age has crystallized to the point where its destruction will be a blessing in disguise going forward.

JJ: I am with you in the fact that many of the ingredients of the present system will fail and be replaced by something different. The concern I have is how it will happen. If we do nothing and just let things happen then the system will fall and the chances are a great tyranny will surface along with tremendous suffering during and after the fall. This is what I want to avoid.

To avoid this, we need to build a bridge between the two systems where a new system based on freedom is being created as the old systems are crumbling. Then when the fall is complete we can have the foundation of freedom created for the foundation of the new.

Human Influence on the Weather

The topic of the weather came up after Hurricane Sandy appeared in the Northeast late October 2012. Some thought it may influence the election and be influenced by the emotional state of the people. Here are some of my comments.

This time, as we headed into the last lap of the election, again Obama’s opponent was leading in the polls by five or more points. Then we had hurricane Sandy which gave the press the opportunity to portray Obama as looking presidential in handing the crisis. He meets with Romney supporter, Chris Christie, who heaps all kinds of praise upon him. The press runs with this quoting Christie over and over. Within a few days the race has tighten up to a dead heat.

Now the destiny of the country will be determined by which side gets the greatest voter turn out.

Republicans may wonder why God or the benevolent Powers-That-Be would have allowed a storm to happen with such timing to give an advantage to Obama. My observations tell me this. Good or bad weather does not seem to coincide with good or evil happenings or even divine purpose. I do believe that weather is influenced by the emotional mood of the people. The tremendous emotional conflicts at play in this country did much to call forth an excess of water which is a symbol of emotion.

Think back to D-Day – the invasion at Normandy. The weather was extremely uncooperative and came close to destroying the allied effort. You’d think that God would have made things easier since Hitler was the greatest arch villain of all time.

On the other hand, Hitler was also frustrated with weather when he invaded Russia. His troops faced a record breaking cold and many froze to death.

It appears that the weather is not an instrument in the hands of the light or dark side where it is manipulated according to will. Instead, it appears that it is a force that both sides merely have to deal with when it manifests destructively.

A reader notes that Jesus quieted the storm indicating that human thought or emotion can influence the weather. Perhaps the Spiritual Hierarchy influences the weather.

This is true that these powers do exist but I believe that most of the influence over the weather is done through human emotions and intent instead of anything from the Hierarchy. Overall, they take a hands off approach, leaving us to our own devices. There are exceptions when the purpose is important, but they have learned from the past that humans learn faster when they benefit or suffer from their own thoughts, feelings and actions.

Does this mean that there would be no weather if there were no humans here? How about Venus? There are no humans on the physical surface but indeed they do have storms and weather. Neptune has a gaseous surface with temperatures of 300 degrees below zero yet have storms at 1100 miles per hour.

Yes, without humans there would still be weather but it would be influenced by various life forms from the tiny elementals to the life of the planet as a whole. Even so, on earth human life is only one of the influences of the weather we see about us. It can be influenced by massed intent but such massed intent is rare because it is understood by so few. Therefore, the human race as a whole is subject to what appears to be random weather and just have to make adjustments to it.

On of the things the lights will do when they gather on the seas is to experiment with weather control through mass intent. This will provide them with a tool to protect themselves and frighten off their enemies.

“Wherefore, the days will come that no flesh shall be safe upon the waters. And it shall be said in days to come that none is able to go up to the land of Zion upon the waters, but he that is upright in heart.” D&C 61:15-16

Another reader writes: This may sound silly, but I ask this as a serious question. The end of book four inspired me to actually try out some stuff, such as teleportation and/or levitation. Will someone watch over me to make sure I don’t get it? If I do get it, will someone show up and issue restrictions?

JJ: Why would you even think someone is going to restrict you? Any restrictions we have are caused by two things.

[1] Ignorance and lack of knowledge and ability. [2] That which we impose upon ourselves by our free will.

These restrictions apply to all living things from the amoeba to humans to the masters.

You are free to learn anything you want. No one is going to stop you unless you become a major threat to the planet.

No one comes to the Masters and says, “Hey, don’t help the humans out. We forbid it.” They can do what they want but the Hierarchy have come to the conclusion that the more we do for ourselves the more we will learn and the knowledge will be used with greater safety.

If you are teaching your kid how to play basketball you do not do the playing and shooting for him but realize he will only learn by getting in the game and playing himself. This does not mean you are forbidden from playing but reflects a decision you have made about guiding your kid.

Meanwhile, your kid also is not restricted. He can apply himself according to his will to increase his skill.

Obviously in the case of Sandy and other storms the Hierarchy is not interfering but letting things play out.

To understand how the Hierarchy may work with us on a practical basis think of power being in the form of money. Once you have it you can use it anyway you think best.

Let us suppose that you created a business and now have $10 million in the bank. You can do anything you want with the money and several things run through your mind. If you had no responsibilities, you figure you would just buy an island in the South Seas and relax in the sun with a iPod in hand for the rest of your life.

You sigh and think of your responsibilities. Your business employs over 200 people and no one can operate it the way you do. Many of your employees are good friends and you know that if you sold it or turned it over to someone else that things would go downhill. For the good of the whole you do not buy the island but stay and oversee the company.

Because it is well known you have money you get a many requests for handouts. Sometimes you get a request that deserving and touches your heart and you send a check but most times you do not. You have a lazy alcoholic brother who is always asking for money but you rarely help him because you see that as enabling his weakness.

Some of your requests are for healing services. You have a relative who is always ill that wants money to go see a controversial doctor in Mexico. You look into him and decide he is a charlatan so you say no to her. She is upset and accuses you of wanting her to die.

You now look at what you want to buy for yourself. A part of you wants to buy a new Lamborghini, but you decide that would be too extravagant and buy a new Prius instead and donate the difference to charity.

The point is this. Just because you have power doesn’t mean you just follow the line of least resistance in its use but have to make judgments, step by step.

Now some powers you mention are not in the actual hands of the individual, such as prophets and holy men who at times heal, bring famines etc. These powers come from a Higher Source and the Source must be checked with before the power can be used.

But once you have a power that is in your hands, such as money, you are then limited by circumstances and your free will as to how it is to be used. You can use the money any way you want but your wants are determined by many things.
