Molecular Dialog

TEACHER: Today we are going to talk about a unique concept you have probably never heard of before. It is called The Molecular Relationship. The reason we use the word “Molecular” is that there is a strong correspondence between the tiny world of the atoms and molecules, and the human kingdom. Ironically, the evolution of the atomic world in its sphere has reached a higher degree of perfection than has the human. Thus we can learn a lot just by observing nature. The special relationships of the molecular world have actually created higher life forms than themselves. This is also what humanity must do. We must form bonding relationships that will create something higher than ourselves so we will all be able to share in a higher consciousness together. We will be like Columbus finding a whole new world to explore. That sounds exciting, doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: The first principle we need to understand in grasping Molecular Relationships among humans is called The Law of Correspondences. This law could be stated thus: Higher lives, systems, and worlds are created out of the lower; therefore, there will always be “correspondences” or similarities between the two, but with subtle differences that can be ascertained by the intuition, or scientific discovery.

Following this law, we can see that humans as well as planets, stars, and galaxies are all made out of atoms and molecules; therefore, we will all bear certain similarities. For instance, it is easy to see how an atom is similar to a solar system. Both are circular and have a heavy nucleus encircled about by numerous lighter particles. Now, can you see any similarities between a human and an atom?

STUDENT: I’m not sure

TEACHER: Let’s cover several possibilities. An atom is circular. Is a human also circular?

STUDENT: Not really.

TEACHER: That’s what most people assume, but that’s because all most of us see is the nucleus which is the physical body. Have you ever heard of the human aura?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: This is quite similar to the light electron layers that circle around the atoms and, like the atoms, the human aura is nearly circular in shape, egg-shaped to be exact. If we could see our auras we would see that humans are in a constant state of circular movement. Atoms are also charged with an overall positive or negative charge. What would these charges correspond to among humanity?

STUDENT: Male and female.

TEACHER: Good. Atoms also join together in long term bonded relationships. What is it called when humans do this?

STUDENT: Marriage.

TEACHER: That is correct. But now we come to the point that the correspondence breaks down for atoms bond together in many diverse ways producing innumerable molecules with a multitude of properties. The only permanent bonding among humans is the simple human molecule composed one male and one female through marriage. At this point we can use the law of correspondences to lead us to higher knowledge. We know that atoms bond together in many ways producing numerous properties. Correspondingly, then, does it seem logical that there are other bonding relationships possible among humans than the regular marriage?

STUDENT: I would suppose so.

TEACHER: The correspondence in atoms to the simple marriage unit would be hydrogen bonds. These are composed of two hydrogen atoms united together and is probably the key building block of the universe. But when atoms make other combinations, they acquire properties which are new that they never had before. For instance, when two atoms of hydrogen unite with one of oxygen, they form water which has properties they never had individually. Do you think it is also possible for humans to unite in a group effort to produce properties they never had individually?

STUDENT: I suppose.

TEACHER: Do you know of any time in history that humans have united into a group to acquire properties that are more than human?

STUDENT: I’m not sure. People have united to form businesses, religions, and other things.

TEACHER: It is true that people have united in various group endeavors for business, religion, politics, and others, but such unions are not molecular and do not produce superhuman properties. A molecular union has very strong bonds and set numbers for each particular type of molecule. A human molecule would have to have a strong covenant or bond and a set number just as the atoms do. There is one time in recorded history that this has happened. Can you guess when that was?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: We can read about this in the Bible where there was a set number of persons in a strong bonding relationship who acquired super human properties. Let’s turn to Matthew 10:1,7-8: “And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he GAVE THEM POWER against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease…And as ye go. preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.”

Now a molecule must have a set number of atoms before it can form a molecule with superior properties. What was the set number of human atoms in the molecule that Jesus created?

STUDENT: Twelve.

TEACHER: And what were some of the superhuman qualities that they acquired?

STUDENT: They were given great power so they could heal the sick and even raise the dead.

TEACHER: Jesus even speaks of the principle that creates the power of the molecule. Read John 15:4-7: “Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, EXCEPT IT ABIDE IN THE VINE; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I AM THE VINE, YE ARE THE BRANCHES: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: FOR WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, YE SHALL ASK WHAT YE WILL, AND IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU.”

Here Jesus tells us that the source of the power of the twelve comes through him as the life of a branch comes from its parent vine. Do you think that Jesus was the source of this power, or was he dependent on someone higher than himself?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: In this same fifteenth chapter Jesus talks about his Father, the husbandman, who is the source of life and power of both the vine [Jesus] and the branches [the twelve]. Jesus talks about this in John 5: 19: “…The Son can do NOTHING OF HIMSELF, but what he seeth the Father do…”

Just as the apostles had no power except they received it through Jesus, Jesus also had no power unless he received it through whom?

STUDENT: The Father.

TEACHER: Just as the apostles created a molecule of twelve with Jesus as the source of power, Jesus was connected with a set molecule on the other side, and he received his power through one he called “Father”. Now Jesus and the twelve maintained this power until the molecular structure was shattered through the betrayal of one of the apostles. Can you remember who that was?

STUDENT: Judas.

TEACHER: After Judas betrayed Jesus the twelve became the eleven and the correct number to create the molecular power no longer existed. The scriptures tell us that the remaining apostles were so devitalized that they could not stay awake or aware and that Jesus was drained to the point of death. At this time Jesus received additional strength from a member of his molecule. Let us read about this in Luke 22:41-43: “And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done. and there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.”

This angel gave Jesus strength just as Jesus gave the apostles strength because Jesus and this angel were a member of the same molecule containing a set number of persons. Now from the time of the betrayal of Judas until after the resurrection there were only eleven apostles. Can you think of even one incident of supernatural power manifested among the apostles when they were just eleven in number?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: That’s because there were none. They turned from men of great courage to frightened men. They turned from men of miracles to men who were powerless. Jesus, however, never lost contact with his molecular power source and continued to have power, even over death. Now let us see what happened when the apostles restored the correct number to their molecule. We can read about this in Acts 1:26;2:1-8: “And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?”

From this scripture we see that the supernatural powers came back in abundance. They received the Holy Spirit and fire enveloped each of them, but most amazingly, men who of over a dozen different languages heard the apostles messages in their own tongues. This miracle is not repeated by any of the modern-day Pentecostals or religions. By what principle do you suppose it was that men of a dozen different origins heard the same speech in their own language?

STUDENT: It must have been mental telepathy.

TEACHER: Mental telepathy, or hearing within their minds had to be the only answer. In other words, they all heard the same language within themselves. The scriptures tell us that Jesus had the power to read minds. Do you think it is possible for a modern-day human molecule to also acquire the talent of mental telepathy?

STUDENT: It’s possible.

TEACHER: We have seen here that in the days of Jesus the Molecule had great powers when it was properly functioning. That was, however, only the beginning. Let us read a prophesy from Jesus about the potential of the Molecule. Read John 14:12-14: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; AND GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father [he rejoins his parent molecule]. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son,”

Do you know of anyone who has done greater works than Jesus?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Yet we are told that the Molecular Order of the Twelve will do even greater works. In addition verse thirteen tells us they will receive what?

STUDENT: Anything they ask for.

TEACHER: Do you know of any group of people on the earth today who can do greater works than Jesus and can receive anything they ask for?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Would you like to gain the knowledge necessary to acquire this great spiritual power?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Why would you like to have this power?

STUDENT: I would like it to be of service to mankind.

TEACHER: It is certainly a wonderful thing to contemplate that the great powers from the days of Jesus may manifest again. Now we need to understand the principles that bring this power so we may have the knowledge to create modern day molecules. We have thus far learned that there had to be a set number in the molecule or it didn’t work. What was that number?

STUDENT: Twelve.

TEACHER: Do you have any idea as to why they were all male?

STUDENT: The custom of the times, I suppose.

TEACHER: There was a specific purpose in this, but this does not mean that there are no females in the Molecule. Male and female are merely manifestations of different kinds of energy and one is no more important than the other, but to balance the Molecule an equal number of each is needed. To understand this let us read about the creation of the first human. Read Gen 1:26-27: “And God said, LET US make man [MAN is from the Hebrew word that is translated as ADAM] in OUR image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man [ADAM] in his own image, in the image of God created he him; MALE AND FEMALE CREATED HE THEM.”

This scripture was written before the creation of woman from the man. Interestingly, the word “man” should be translated as “Adam”. Those who created Adam call themselves “Us”, meaning more than one, and say that he is in their image. Verse 27 tells us what that image was. Can you see what it was?

STUDENT: Male and female.

TEACHER: Yes, in other words, Adam was not just male, but in the image of God and that image was: Male and Female. In the original race male and female were united together into one body which was in the image of the male-female God. After the creation of the male-female Adam the Bible tells us that God opened up Adam’s flesh and took woman out of it. This also sounds like woman was originally united with the male in Adam, doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Woman is called such because she was taken out of the womb of the original race of Adam. Let’s read a commandment given because of this. Read Gen 2:24: “Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be ONE FLESH.”

Why do you suppose they were told to be one flesh?

STUDENT: Because they were originally one flesh.

TEACHER: We could say it this way. It takes one man and one woman to make one Adam. It may not be entirely coincidence that the word Adam and atom are so similar for it also takes one male and one female to create one complete human atom, the foundation to building all human molecules. To understand how to build human molecules we must see the difference between the male and female. What do you think that basic difference is?

STUDENT: I’m not sure what you mean, but physically they look different.

TEACHER: The physical difference is the undeniable, but it is built around the same principle difference as in the emotional and mental areas. Let me state the principle difference, then illustrate how it applies: Male and female are basically the same as the positive and negative in the atomic units that create the entire universe. Male and female are energy states. The male is the sending energy and the female is the receiving. Physically this is obvious. For instance, in sex who is the sender of the seed?

STUDENT: The male.

TEACHER: And who is the receiver?

STUDENT: The female

TEACHER: The man is physically stronger which again puts him in a sending position on the physical plane. Even among the atoms the male, or positively charged atom, sends out an extra electron and the female or negatively charged particle receives it.

Now let us look at the emotions and instincts of the two. The male is by nature more aggressive. This again puts him in a sending position and the female receives the aggression. But just as the male dominates in physical strength so does the female dominate emotionally causing attempts at sending on this level much more difficult for the male. The female is more sensitive emotionally and needs to receive emotional support from the sending male.

The plane of the mind is dominate by the male energy, but the next plane up, the intuitive, is dominated by the female.

Have you noticed that sometimes in a relationship the female will be the sender and the male the receiver?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Now we need to think of male and female as energy units and realize that all of us are composed of both male and female charges, but each of us have a definite polarity in one or the other. If a person finds himself in a male body it is because the charge of their whole lifeforce is in the male. In other words, the physical expression is a sign of the soul force we deal with. Therefore, if a person is male he feels fulfilled when he is giving physically, emotionally and mentally. But let us suppose the male is married to a dominate female and finds himself in the receiving position emotionally and mentally. This would be going against his natural energy flow wouldn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Do you suppose he would feel out of balance, even if the two seem to get along together?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: To create balance so a stable molecule can be formed the males must focus on sending the females receiving. The prophets realized this and stressed it in the scriptures. Many people, however, have not realized the principle they were talking about and thought that they were merely sexist old men who wanted to keep women under their thumb. For instance read Gen 3:16: “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

According to the Bible then, who is supposed to dominate in a relationship, the male or female?

STUDENT: The male

TEACHER: Ephesians 5:22-24 sheds more light upon this: “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.” This sounds pretty chauvinistic, doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Many people think Paul wrote this because he merely wanted to keep women enslaved, but a closer reading reveals a very inspired principle. Women are supposed to be subject to their husband “as the church is subject to Christ.” Why is the church subject to Christ?

STUDENT: Because he is the Lord.

TEACHER: It’s something deeper than that. It’s the principle that makes him our Lord. Does Christ have more light and knowledge than the people in the church?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Let us reverse things and see what would happen. Let us suppose that you had more light and knowledge than Christ. How would you feel if you had to subject yourself to an inferior intelligence who told you to do things you knew were wrong. Would this throw you out of balance?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Many conservative religions try and follow this scripture. Do you think that an intelligent woman who happens to marry a man of inferior intelligence feels comfortable in subjecting herself to a husband who subjects her to things she knows is wrong?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Just as water reaches it own level so will intelligence. If the woman is more intelligent than the husband who do you think will eventually dominate in the relationship?

STUDENT: Probably the woman.

TEACHER: Correct. Many females in conservative religions feel guilty because their elders tell them that they are supposed to let their husbands dominate, but because of their nature many women find that they cannot help but control the relationship because of their natural intelligence. If they understood the scripture there would have been no reason for guilt for if they are to be subjected unto their husbands as their husbands are subjected to Christ then they would have to have husbands that can teach them just as Christ can teach their husbands. Do you agree with this?

STUDENT: I think so.

TEACHER: The problem in following this admonition is that a large portion of the females out there are married to men of lesser intelligence than themselves, aren’t they?

STUDENT: I suppose so.

TEACHER: To create a working molecule that can manifest great spiritual powers there has to be a balance between the male and female units in humans just as there is in atoms. In other words, all females should be placed in receiving positions and all males in sending ones. Do you know of any organization on the planet where this is so?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Even in the most male dominated structure in the world this could not be so if the females marry men of lower intelligence than themselves. The most intelligent will always dominate whether he be male or female. But to create a molecule, the male and female energies must be relatively balanced and each person must have a feeling of fulfillment. To achieve this each intelligent male should be involved in sending to those female to himself. It is interesting to note that receiving males are female to a sending male. The twelve male apostles were in a female position to Jesus. In fact, the followers of Christ are even called his bride in the scriptures. (Rev 21:9) Part of the reason he left the twelve was so they could revert to their natural male energy.

When in their correct energy a male will have those female to him that he can teach and to which he can give light and knowledge, and each female should have a male from which she can receive. Those marriages that are out of balance are those in which the male is unable to send and the female unable to receive. If either a male or female find themselves in this unbalanced situation, what should they do?

STUDENT: It’s hard to say.

TEACHER: The most drastic solution is to divorce and find a more compatible partner. Fortunately, the energy can achieve relative balance by the couple seeking to send and receive from outside of their relationship. For instance, the female may find a teacher on a subject of mutual interest and then both can receive from him. The male, unable to send much to his wife, may send to various friends and associates.

A female who is married to a husband that she dominates can achieve some balance by participating in a molecule wherein she selects a spiritual teacher that she can receive from. If what we are teaching here is true it would mean that the molecule organized by Jesus not only had in it twelve men, but also twelve women, wouldn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: None of the apostles of Jesus are mentioned as being single, and Peter, the head apostle, is definitely mentioned as being married. In addition, we find that Jesus and his group definitely had women in it. Read Matt 27:55 “And many women were there beholding afar off [the crucifixion], which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him.” Do you think these women would have included the wives of the apostles?

STUDENT: Probably.

TEACHER: If the molecule contained twelve human units and each unit was composed of a male and female then in reality there would be twenty-four people involved in the complete molecular structure wouldn’t there?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Can you think of a significant scripture where the molecule of twenty-four is mentioned?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: We can read about it in Revelations 4:4 where we have a description of the throne of God: “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raimnent; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.”. Does it make sense to you that twelve of these “elders” could have represented female energies?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: If all of the apostles had a female counterpart does it make sense that Jesus had one also?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Do you know who that was?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: After his resurrection the first person that Jesus showed himself to was a female. It is only logical that he would have wanted the most important person in his life to be the first to share this joy with him. We can read about this in John 20:14-18: “And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardner, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Robboni; which is to say Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethern and say unto them, I ascend to my Father, and your Father; and to my God and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.”

The Greek word translated “touch” here should be “cling”. In other words, Mary was trying to embrace him. She also called Jesus her Master, a title given in Bible times to husbands. Mary’s language and reaction was quite normal if she had been Jesus’s wife. Does it seem possible to you that Jesus had a relationship with a woman in the Molecule he formed?

STUDENT: I hadn’t thought of it, but I suppose it is possible.

TEACHER: People get the wrong idea as to how Jesus found the twelve. If we read the Bible out of context we see that Jesus was passing by various men and said: “follow me” and they immediately dropped everything and followed. This is not a normal human reaction today and it was not then. We need to realize that the reason they did drop their fishing nets and other work and follow is that they were prepared by John the Baptist. This was his mission: To be a forerunner for Christ and prepare the first molecule so when Jesus came and gave life to it they would all see eye to eye. Jesus called him the greatest prophet who ever lived because he was successful in finding and preparing most of the twelve couples who could accept the Christ and create a molecule. Why do you suppose a second twelve was never created?

STUDENT: Maybe there was only supposed to be one.

TEACHER: In nature there is never just one lone molecule, but they always multiply in great numbers. John the Baptist was killed just after the creation of the first twelve. After he died was there anyone left to prepare a second twelve for the Christ?

STUDENT: No. Not unless Jesus or the twelve themselves would have done it.

TEACHER: We know that Jesus was killed at the completion of the training of the first twelve and that only left the twelve apostles that understood to any degree the molecular principle. Shortly after the death of Jesus all of the twelve apostles were also killed and never replaced. Did this leave anyone on the earth with the knowledge to create another molecule?

STUDENT: I guess not.

TEACHER: You’ll notice that in the history of the Christian Church that the twelve were never replaced or duplicated. This is because no one besides the apostles understood the molecular principle and thus saw no reason to create another twelve. Do you know of any other time in recorded history where a group of twelve persons healed the sick, raised the dead, received visitations of angels, and even spoke by mental telepathy?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: We believe that it is our mission to recreate the molecular order and not only find one group of twelve male-female units, but eventually twelve thousand of them. What is 12,000 times 12?

STUDENT: 144,000.

TEACHER: Do you remember hearing that number from the scriptures before?

STUDENT: Yes, isn’t it from the book of Revelation?

TEACHER: We can read about them in Revelations 14:1,4-5: “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads…These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they were without fault before the throne of God.” Here we are told that the 144,000 are on mount Sion [or Zion]. This will be the population of the first finished city of Zion. It calls them men, but actually each of the 144,000 is a male-female unit which are counted as one in the scriptures. What do you suppose it means when it calls them virgins?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: When the male-female units are in balance and are as one flesh and see themselves as one entity under covenant to Christ then they are as virgins aren’t they?

STUDENT: I suppose.

TEACHER: What does it mean when it says they are not defiled with women?

STUDENT: I would think it would mean they are sexually pure.

TEACHER: The scripture is referring to a principle here more than physical actions. For a man to be defiled with a woman he must allow his energy to be thrown out of balance so that he becomes the receiver and the female is the main sender. In other words, he must lose control. If he gives into sexual temptation outside of a coventanted relationship, for instance, he loses control, the female is his master, and thus he is defiled or dominated by woman. Anytime the male is in a situation where the female dominates him there is imbalance, and the male becomes the female, and the female-male. This is how the male is “defiled” by the woman. As we have said earlier to make the molecules work there has to be a correct balance in the male-female energies. This can only happen when each female in the molecule unites with males that she can receive from and accept as her teachers. Does this make sense to you?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Now if twelve units of humans make one molecule; what would twelve thousand molecules create?

STUDENT: A cell, perhaps.

TEACHER: A cell is the right answer. Now a cell is the beginning of the creation of all life and has properties much more spectacular and complex than a molecule. Do you have any idea what properties a living cell of human beings will produce?

STUDENT: I imagine it would be something wonderful.

TEACHER: The Bible goes on to tell us that eventually there will be over one thousand cell cities on the earth until the earth is covered with the knowedge of the Lord. You might call this a ground floor opportunity to participate in the most important and far reaching enterprise that has ever been initiated on the planet. Tell me, would you like to be a modern day apostle and manifest the powers of Christ unto men?

STUDENT: Yes.

NOTE: The student may raise this question in the course of the lesson: “Doesn’t the Mormons and some other religions have twelve apostles. Does that create a molecule?”

ANSWER: The number twelve is only one of the ingredients of the molecule. Actually, the number is twenty-four – twelve males and twelve females. Thus there are several reasons why the Mormon apostles do not create a molecule:

[1] The molecule has to have twelve males and twelve females working together. In the Mormon church the females are excluded. They do not see any use for the female energy and lack the knowledge to direct it.

[2] The male-female units have to all be in balance or the Christ energy cannot flow any more than electricity can flow through rubber.

[3] Even after all this the molecule has to be accepted and linked up with a working molecule or nothing happens. The only way to be accepted by the Molecule of the Christ is to be in complete alignment with his purpose.

Let’s read a scripture about this in Revelations 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I WILL COME IN TO HIM, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Thus if we have a completed molecule prepared and in alignment with his purpose we are told that he will actually enter it. When the molecule is ready the presence of the Christ will truly be there. That is something to look forward to isn’t it?

STUDENT: It certainly is.

TEACHER: Is this opportunity just opened to a select few or to anyone?

STUDENT: The scripture we just read says “any man”.

TEACHER: That would, of course, include you and me. All we need do is obtain a knowledge of how the Molecular Order works, be open to the truth, and be willing to act upon it. Sounds easy enough, doesn’t it?

Group Initiation and the Molecular Relationship

Group Initiation and the Molecular Relationship

The Discovery

Back in the 1980s I wrote a book called The Molecular Relationship. The basic idea behind the book was based on the writings we have about Jesus and his Twelve Apostles and the great miracles and power demonstrated through them. Most are familiar with the great miracles attributed to Jesus such as turning water to wine, calming a storm at sea, walking on water, and great healings, such as causing the lame to walk the deaf to hear, the blind to see and even raising the dead.

People are less familiar with the fact that similar miracles are attributed to his disciples. When he was on the earth he sent them forth with the command to “heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.” Luke 10:9

When they returned, they reported success saying that “even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” Luke 10:17

The scriptures indicate that Jesus did most of the miracles, but he did not intend to be the only example of such power, for he said this to the disciples:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12

Indeed, after the resurrection on the day of Pentecost great power came to the disciples, and from that day forward they indeed accomplished great works. Here is an example of such greater works attributed to Peter:

“Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.” Acts 5:15-16

That was a pretty impressive power attributed to Peter, that all that was needed to heal was to have his shadow pass over them as he walked by.

In my book I cover some of the miracles attributed to the apostles and give the reasons why they seemed to be almost superhuman compared to average disciples today. It also reveals that there were twelve females to bring balance to the twelve male apostles making a total of twenty-four corresponding to the twenty-four ancient ones before the throne of God (See Rev 4:4)

The insight presented in my book tells us that this great spiritual endowment of power is not limited to the disciples from the time of Jesus, but can be duplicated today. This order is called The Molecular Relationship because it is a higher correspondence to physical molecules where diverse atoms join together to create properties that they do not have alone. Indeed, there are many different human molecules that can be created but one with twelve males and twelve females that are capable of linking up through the hierarchy to Shamballa is what we are pursuing.

After writing the book I grew curious as to whether Djwahl Khul (DK) through Alice A. Bailey said anything about the principle. After reading his works several times I saw numerous teachings along the same lines, and took notes, but didn’t catch anything specific.

Then a while back I reviewed my notes and decided to do a more extensive search among the Bailey books for more correlations between what I had written and that which DK transmitted. As I plunged into my research, I was amazed at how many supportive quotes showed up, and finally a major realization hit me. It was one of those things where you feel like slapping yourself for not seeing it earlier.

That realization was this: DK’s teachings on group initiation and The Molecular Relationship are the same thing. They are in complete harmony with each other. The only difference is that some different aspects are presented in the two sets of writings about the principle.

In addition, DK in the book Rays and Initiations gives fourteen rules for group initiation, along with detailed explanations that will take centuries to fully implement. My book is mainly concerned with the creation of the first functional group.

At this point the reader may point out that there are many groups in this fourth kingdom we call humanity. With all these teachings from DK that are made available surely there is an example of one that has achieved group initiation.

The fact is that group initiation in the human kingdom is very difficult to achieve. The hierarchy has attempted numerous times to create and elevate groups to this level and failed. DK says this:

“Group initiation is no easy achievement, particularly as it is practically an untried experiment and constitutes essentially a pioneering effort. … The first objective of these experiments (going on quietly in various places all over the world) is to see if a group of disciples can work together in such a manner that an inner fusion can be seen—by the Masters—to be taking place. The results, hitherto, have not been encouraging. … Group after group has been tried and tested out by different Masters in various parts of the world, and hitherto all such attempts have proved failures.” Rays and Initiations, Page 208

Group initiation does not occur by merely getting a group together to learn or meditate. Instead, before that state where group initiation can take place there must be a number of conditions met, the most important of which is union through the soul where all can see basic principles as though they were one mind.

It is rare to find even two people who can do this let alone twenty-four. DK sees this achievement as very essential to ensure the manifestation of the kingdom of God on the earth.

DK himself tried to create a group with a consciousness capable of group initiation. The endeavor was covered in the two books on Discipleship in the New Age.

He handpicked fifty prospects to begin the work. Many were not ready and after a few years the number was reduced to twenty-four. I believe he hoped to keep that number, but six additional fell away and he was left with eighteen. Later he indicated that only about six were useable for that which he was hoping to achieve.

He said he failed to reach the goal but the experiment was worthwhile for the members would be better prepared in a future life because of the efforts in this one.

He did, however indicate when group initiation would be a success. He said this:

“Only in the middle of the next century will the really new type of group emerge. Tentative beginnings of such groups are to be found today but their success or their failure is an unstable matter and both so ephemeral that it is not easy yet to bring them under law. One ambitious, disloyal person, for instance, can wreck a group.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Page 624

We are told then that group initiation is expected to be a reality by around 2050. I would be 105 by that time so I am hopeful it can happen earlier.

He points out in the above quote why establishing such a group is so difficult saying that “One ambitious, disloyal person, for instance, can wreck a group.”

Indeed, trying to get twenty-four, or even twelve or seven working together in the harmony of the soul is a herculean task.

That said we shall move forward and examine some of the essential teachings from DK that can take us to the union of souls where group initiation can occur.

What is Group Initiation?

DK never comes out and gives a couple clear paragraphs defining exactly what group initiation is. He does talk about it extensively explaining aspects of it, but seems to leave it up to the reader to conceptualize how it would manifest and operate when it becomes a reality.

He has made it pretty clear what initiation is for the individual seeker. An initiation represents a major step forward in consciousness that removes limitations and dispels illusions causing the pilgrim to master aspects of the worlds of form and to advance on the path that takes him back to his source.

There are seven initiations to be taken on this planet and two additional to be achieved outside of this solar system.

The first initiation begins with what is called “the birth of Christ within the heart.” Here the seeker begins to realize that inner contact with spiritual sources is possible and seeks to purify himself by mastering the attraction of the physical realm. He seeks to control the pull of his physical appetites and sex drive and does not let the allure of wealth control him.

The second initiation marks the control of his emotional nature and the third control of the lower mind giving him ability to see through illusions that deceive most of humanity.

Speaking of group initiation DK says that “such groups are ever composed of those who have taken the first initiation, and the name of these is legion. They are to be found in every country. There are not, however, so many who are ready for the new era of group initiation.” Rays and Initiations, Page 19

So, groups seeking group initiation must be composed of those who have achieved the first initiation or higher, but he points out that not all these are ready. It is likely that few are ready since there are many who have achieved the first initiation, but none presently who have achieved it as a group.

The closest thing we have in history to group initiation were the twelve apostles of Jesus. They and associates met on the day of Pentecost. Of this it is written:

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.” Acts 2:1-3

After this a crowd gathered because of the great sound and Peter went out and spoke to them. The account continues:

“And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled,” Acts 2:5-7

Concerning this event DK says this:

The Pentecost will become truth. All men will come under the tide of inspiration from on high, and though they may speak with many tongues, they will all understand each other.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 47

This event “signifies the universal dissemination of the Christ consciousness throughout all time in the heart of every human being; to this the words and promise, ‘Lo, I am with you all the days, even until the end of the world,’ bear witness.” Rays and Initiations, Page 356

From this we gather that the coming event of group initiation will causethe universal dissemination of the Christ consciousness” will cause people though they speak many tongues “they will all understand each other.”

DK says this about this use of a form of telepathy being manifest though this process of group initiation:

“Can you not see, therefore, how a miniature replica of the Brotherhood can be established on earth and how in decades to come the working disciples of the world, the isolated initiates in the many world organisations and the personnel of the New Group of World Servers will automatically respond to the telepathic sensitivity of such groups as will be found working in the many Ashrams of the Masters?” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Pages 24-25

This “telepathic sensitivity” manifested 2000 years ago and will manifest to an even greater degree when the process of group initiation is consummated.

Even though Peter demonstrated group telepathy on the day of Pentecost this great event apparently did not fully demonstrate the consummation of group initiation for as stated earlier “Group after group has been tried and tested out by different Masters in various parts of the world, and hitherto all such attempts have proved failures.” Rays and Initiations, Page 208

It’s possible DK was speaking of the current age for it appears that Pentecost was at least a partial success, but the original group was martyred shortly thereafter and there is no record of anyone taking their place.

DK indicates that the consummation of group initiation will occur when anchored where it will not be disrupted, but will be a living and growing organism and will accomplish something that was only hoped for in the days of the early church. That is the manifestation of the kingdom of God upon the earth or the answer to the prayer of the Christ: “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.” Matt 6:10 This will occur when the realization of Christ becomes the realization of groups which is “the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21

DK encapsulates the mission of group initiation quite succinctly:

“Growing out of the integration of this new group, there is being formed in the world that ‘bridge of souls and servers’ which will make possible the merging of the inner subjective Hierarchy of souls and the outer world of humanity. This will constitute an actual fusion or blending and will mark the initiation of the human family through the achievement of its foremost pioneering members. This is the true “marriage in the Heavens ” of which mystical Christianity speaks and the result of this fusion will be the manifestation of the fifth kingdom in nature, the kingdom of God. In the past history of the race, a great event occurred which brought into manifestation the fourth kingdom in nature, the human kingdom. We stand now on the verge of a similar but still more momentous event—the appearance of the fifth kingdom, as a result of the planned activity of the New Group of World Servers, working in collaboration with the Hierarchy of perfected souls, and under the guidance of the Christ Himself. This will usher in the New Age wherein five kingdoms in nature will be recognised as existing side by side upon earth. Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 32

The fifth kingdom spoken of there represents the Christ and his numerous associates of master souls with a consciousness of the kingdom within, representing the kingdom of God. We are told in the above quote that the completion of group initiation will be “under the guidance of the Christ Himself. This will usher in the New Age wherein five kingdoms in nature will be recognised as existing side by side upon earth.”

Thus, the kingdom of God and the human kingdom will function side by side to bring peace on earth and goodwill to humankind.

From all that is written then about group initiation we could sum up a concise definition as follows:

Group initiation occurs when a group of individual entities unite together as one mind with one purpose in harmony with the Christ, and their higher selves to manifest a higher state of consciousness shared equally by all in the group.

Or perhaps this summary from DK:

“Group initiation is based upon a uniform and united group will, consecrated towards the service of humanity and based upon loyalty, cooperation and interdependence.” Rays and Initiations, Page 17

We will next explore the writings of DK to see how this process will take place and what the end results are supposed to be.

A Major Obstacle to Group Initiation

As mentioned earlier, the manifestation of group initiation will mark an extremely significant event in the evolution of our planet. DK said that the appearance of the human kingdom was “a great event,” but that which will be produced by group initiation will mark an even greater event which “will usher in the New Age wherein five kingdoms in nature will be recognised as existing side by side upon earth.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 32

The fifth kingdom represents the Kingdom of God, the Spiritual Hierarchy led by the Christ. Imagine what it would be like for humans to be able to work side by side with the Masters of Wisdom.

Concerning this great event initiated by group initiation DK says “There will (through this and analogous groups) be set in motion on earth a network of spiritual energies which will facilitate the regeneration of the world.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 23

This is obviously a tremendous event awaiting us so it is wise to ask ourselves what is needed to create a group capable of group initiation. What qualities must the individuals involved possess?

The first thing an applicant must have for group initiation is a vision of that which is to be achieved. If the individual realizes he is working toward perfected group life that “will facilitate the regeneration of the world,” then he will have much more staying power than if he sees himself merely joining just another spiritual group that may lead to some extra knowledge or self-improvement.

It must be realized that a group dedicated to group initiation is no ordinary group with ordinary goals, for members are treading a path that can literally change the world and eventually unite heaven and earth.

If the seeker receives an intuitive flash of what can be, then that great inner resolve will form within necessary to endure to the consummation, even if it extends to future lives.

When the group begins to form from individuals who have seen the vision and desire to be a part of something much greater than themselves, then they must seek union as a group. Achieving group initiation is impossible without the union of souls, or union on a soul or higher spiritual level.

Here DK gives us the first two qualities the aspiring group must acquire to begin the path toward group initiation:

“The first thing that has to be established in a group of disciples is love and trust, for without that there can be no true transference of thought. Where love and trust do not exist, they must be definitely and consciously developed.

“A second rule governs this telepathic relationship and this is that all ‘crises of criticism’ must be most carefully avoided by all disciples if they want to bring about the needed rhythm.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 725

The first step involves the disciples, not just liking each other, but loving and trusting each other. To develop real love and trust requires more than just meeting together for learning and meditation, but establishing relationships where the individuals actually know each other and despite their personality imperfections still see the Christ within and love and trust their fellow travelers.

This leads us to an all-important second step where “all crises of criticism must be most carefully avoided by all disciples.”

Something I have found to be of great importance in my study of DK’s works is to pay attention to his exact wording. If the student does not do this he may come away with a generic, but useless understanding while missing the major point.

Notice the phrase “crises of criticism.” Now, many teachers have taught that it is important to avoid criticism, but that is not what DK says here, as sometimes constructive criticism is necessary. What he warns the group against is a crisis of criticism.

How is that different from an honest criticism?

To understand it is helpful to realize that criticism has two basic effects, one positive and the other negative.

The positive occurs when the one criticizing is recognized as attempting to be sincerely helpful and the one being criticized does not take offense, but takes the criticism into consideration.

Example: A certain individual gives speeches to local groups on a regular basis. After arriving home his wife, who attends the events, sits him down at a table and says: “Honey, you gave a good speech, but I think there is one thing you can do to gain more acceptance and increase your audience.”

“Really, what’s that? He asks.

“In many cases you use ‘I’ when you could use ‘we.’ When you do this, especially where other people are involved, it makes it sound like you have a big ego and not sharing the credit for the work involved.”

Instead of being irritated and defending himself, the guy reflects a moment and responds, “Are you sure? I wasn’t aware of doing that?”

She responds: “Yes, I am sure. I’ve also heard comments from your friends who seem to feel more comfortable talking to me about it than you. Let’s listen to a recording of one of your speeches and just see how often you used ‘I’ when it could have been ‘we.’”

They listen to a recent speech together and he responds: “I have to admit, you are correct. I’ll start working on correcting this with my next speech.”

This positive criticism was a win for both of them. Unfortunately, most criticisms create more negative results than positive. Here is an example where both sides are part of the problem.

After arriving home the wife says: “Your projection of ego in your speech tonight was over the top. All we heard was I, I, I, I and no we. You’ll be lucky if anyone wants to listen to you again.”

“He responds, “Maybe if I had a little support from you I’d feel more like saying ‘we.’”

The dialog went downhill from there, until it became a crisis.

Just as a crisis of criticism can occur with two people it can happen with even greater negative effects in a group. Let us say that a group is working on a project and Jim feels that three of the members are not doing their share, while he feels he is doing more than his share. He can’t stand the situation anymore, so during a meeting he complains about the three supposed laggards.

The three take offense and in return point out some of Jim’s flaws. It goes downhill from there. The vibration of the whole group is lowered and group soul contact seems to be a distant memory.

The group here does indeed experience crisis of criticism and it will require wise leadership to guide it back on the correct course.

Concerning this problem DK says this:

“The healing energy of the spiritual Hierarchy cannot flow through the group if there is disharmony and criticism.  The first work, therefore, of any group of healers, is to establish themselves in love and to work towards group unity and understanding.” Esoteric Healing, Page 6

If there is love, understanding and accurate communication within the group the problems can be articulated and worked on as the group moves forward on the path. Allowing the group to descend into negativity is the major inhibitor to group initiation, but there is no shortcut. The problems posed by the personality self must be neutralized.

Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance, or a stranger. – Franklin P. Jones

The Union of Souls

Concerning the consummation of group initiation DK says this:

“In due time, there can exist on earth a replica of the Hierarchy, its methods and techniques of work.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 34

If therefore we wish to know the qualities group members must have to advance toward group initiation which would accomplish this, we merely need to examine some of the qualities that make the Hierarchy what it is.

An all-important quality that exists in the Hierarchy is unity:

“In the Hierarchy there is complete unity, based upon a recognised isolation of spirit from matter.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 756

A key to unity is given in this quote which is “a recognised isolation of spirit from matter.”

In the realm of pure Spirit there is only unity, but in the lower worlds of form there are differences everywhere which makes unity very difficult.  The Hierarchy therefore keeps their attention on spiritual consciousness which sees the unity behind all creation. This enables them to work as if they are of one mind.

The Bible itself predicts that humanity will also achieve this state:

“Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.” Isa 52:8

DK adds this:

“That which counts with the Hierarchy as the Ashrams function is the establishing subjectively of such a potent group interplay and group relation that an emerging world unity can be seen in embryo. A joint power to be telepathic or a group capacity to intuit truth is of value and somewhat novel. It is the functioning of groups who have the ability to work as a unity, whose ideals are one, whose personalities are merged into one forward swing, whose rhythm is one and whose unity is so firmly established that naught can produce in the group the purely human characteristics of separation, of personal isolation and selfish seeking, that is new. Unselfish people are not rare. Unselfish groups are very rare.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 22-23

He covers a lot of ground in this quote and gives numerous hints that can enhance the unity of a group.

First, he envisions a group that sets an example as to what the evolving world itself can achieve. In other words, the united group will foreshadow “an emerging world unity (that) can be seen in embryo.”

If an endeavor produces beneficial results which can be accomplished on a small scale, then the world will be inspired to duplicate it on a large scale.

Next, he mentions “A joint power to be telepathic or a group capacity to intuit truth.”

It is interesting that he mentions the ability to be telepathic and the ability to intuit truth in the same sentence as if they are related, for indeed they are.

Members of a group who have experienced initiation together will obtain the power to understand each other and communicate beyond the black and white use of words. What may not be realized though is that the intuitive recognition of truth is also a form of telepathy for the seeker receives wordless knowledge from his own Higher Self or Higher Lives.

This telepathic communication between the members of the group with each other and Higher Lives creates a oneness of understanding which is essential to maintain a connection of spirit and matter or heaven and earth for the group.

The group is to have the “ability to work as a unity, whose ideals are one.”

Because the group will have telepathic/intuitive abilities they will “work as a unity.”

Yes, there are some groups that appear to work as a unity but in most cases, it is because they are led by a strong authority, and instead of being a unity through understanding they are united through a fear of dissent. The initiate group will be one because their “ideals are one.”

Ideals for such a group are much different than the standard human ideals of becoming prosperous and living a life of pleasure. The ideals for the initiate group always deal with service to humanity itself rather than service to self, but with the realization that in the end when this type of attitude prevails both the one and the many will benefit.

The next statement has an unusual wording, for he speaks of  group members “whose personalities are merged into one forward swing,”

The personality self includes the lower mind, our passions and desires, as well as the actions we take in life. All members of the initiate group will be like one life having all members dedicated not to some failed goal from the past, but to “one forward swing.” The use of the word ‘swing” indicates a leap forward rather than a slow crawl.

This thought reminds me of a quote by Robert F. Kennedy from 1968. He often said this in his speeches: Some men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?”

Next, DK says that the group’s “rhythm is one.”

Think of two dancers or musicians performing in or out of rhythm with each other. They must be in synch for things to work. In the successful group each person will not be doing his own thing not connected to the group as a whole but will be seen as playing a note that is part of the same song embraced by all in the group.

Finally, he ends with stating that the “unity is so firmly established that naught can produce in the group the purely human characteristics of separation, of personal isolation and selfish seeking.”

He tells us that these group qualities are rare but necessary for group initiation.  They will not be easy to achieve because the power of the ego for individual glory is great, but it will be achieved – first by the few, but finally by the many until “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Hab 2:14

I have had more trouble with myself than with any other man I have ever met!  – Dwight L. Moody

Is Unity Possible?

I have taught about the union of souls for many years and have gotten some interesting feedback on the subject.

Many sincere spiritual students believe that spiritual union is an abstract idea that may exist in the higher planes, but is impossible on this dense physical one. Here we can only have the illusion of union through the strong arm of a cult or group leader who pressures everyone into conformity. They think that about the best free souls can do is to meet together and send positive energy toward healing the planet, peace on earth or take advantage of some planetary alignment.

This type of thinking is one of the reasons that group initiation has not yet happened for, contrary to the thinking of many, a united vision of those things that are related to true principles is not only possible but mandatory.

“As the rapport becomes more firmly established, no fundamental divergences of opinion can appear; the aims of the soul and the personality blend and fuse; the objectives before the disciple and the Master become identical, and the group life conditions the service rendered by both of them…. The needed fusion can always take place among disciples when they meet on the level of the soul and when the service to be rendered is the dominant factor and not so much the how of rendering it; for this each disciple is independently responsible.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 687

Notice that he carefully states that “no fundamental divergences of opinion can appear.”

With the use of the word “fundamental” he is telling us that there are important aspects pertinent to group life which must be seen through the eyes of the soul and not be in dispute.

There are, however, many views not fundamental to the creation of group unity on which numerous different opinions may be held.

Examples of such views are one’s favorite ball team, favorite music, favorite food or diet, favorite culture, and some political views.

Where political views become a problem is when some members think that other members are supporting the dark side with their views. Views reaching this level of division can definitely affect the unity of the group.

Concerning the differences which are not fundamental, here is DK’s advice on handling them:

“It (group stability) will come if each of the group members will simply mind his own business and permit his group brothers to mind theirs; it will come if you keep your personality affairs, your private concerns and troubles out of the group life; it will come if you refrain from discussion of each other and of each other’s affairs and attitudes. This is of supreme importance at this stage of the group work; it will mean—if you can achieve success in this—that you will be able to keep your minds clear of all lesser things which concern the personality life. This means that your minds will be free, therefore, for group work.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 60

The key sentence here is the advice to each disciple to “mind his own business and permit his group brothers to mind theirs.”

Each group member must make it a top priority to make himself a valuable member and do nothing to distract from group purpose. If the group is not progressing the way he thinks the temptation is to point fingers at other group members and demand they make changes or be reprimanded in some way.

One might say the first rule of group work is to work on yourself and make yourself a suitable member before you worry about anyone else.

Here he speaks of the importance of focusing on the group instead of the self and the individuals within it.

“This will become possible when the individual members in the groups and the individual groups of disciples lose sight of their own identities in an effort to make this hierarchical work possible. In this type of group work, the feelings, reactions, wishes and successes of the individual most emphatically do not count. Only that is regarded as of importance which will further group effort and enrich the group consciousness.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 43

The main goal for the individual is to just not let personality refractions get in the way of unity, for the union of souls is of supreme importance:

“No group can be used in world service that is not working in perfect accord and this harmony must be attained as a group. It must be brought about, not through the process whereby people withdraw within themselves and thus inhibit that which upsets group equilibrium, but by the process of loving self-forgetfulness.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Pages 194-5

Here he gives clues to achieving unity:

“It is the subjective life unity that is of interest to the teachers on the inner side of life, and the production of a network of true healers all over the world…  all that is needed is the elimination of the undesirable and the misunderstood interpretations of known facts, and the misapplied information, also the cessation of selfish interest, financial exploitation and greed.” Esoteric Healing, Page 375

In this  quote he gives some important hinderances that interfere with group unity. An important hinderance to be eliminated is “the undesirable and the misunderstood interpretations of known facts, and the misapplied information.”

The basic problem here is not that members do not have the correct information in an area of disagreement, but that some create distorted interpretations as well as misapplying the information available.

We see this happening today, especially in political discussions online and in the media.  The two have the same facts before them but vary widely in their interpretation. Maybe one person goes with where the facts lead, but the other jumps  to conclusions that are in harmony with his bias rather than where the facts lead.

Some time ago I laid out a path to finding truth as much as possible by the use of common sense that we all should possess. One of the prime principles of discovery is to find those facts that have a high probability of being true and then either discounting or eliminating those ideas that are not in harmony with them.

Let us suppose you encounter someone who believes in a flat earth. The perceived fact that has an extremely high probability of being true is that the earth as a globe has been seen and photographed by many nations and hundreds of journeys into space. This gives us a high probability that the earth is a globe and anything that contradicts that should be either discounted or given little rational value.

To maintain the earth is flat, despite all the evidence, requires “misunderstood interpretations of known facts.”

The true believer may then use “misapplied information” to maintain his position. “Just look out upon the sea,” he may say. “The earth is flat as far as the eye can see.”

It is true that the earth looks flat from that vantage point, but that information is not correctly applied.

The problem here is that most readers can see how this principle of Discovery plays out with the flat earth, but the real test comes when one’s own pet beliefs are challenged by information that has a high probability of being true.

True disciples should be able to have a reasonable discussion and examine the facts as they are and reach agreement. Following Occam’s Razor is always a good idea, which states: “The simplest explanation is usually the best one.”

The ultimate solution to disagreements is soul contact. All souls see basic principles through the same eye of vision, but one has to put personal bias aside to reach the soul with a fellow disciple.

The problem for many is the clinging to the ideal of what should be rather than just making a step in the right direction. Voltaire said that “The perfect is the enemy of the good.”

Some may only support a plan that will result in a perfect outcome, but if that plan has virtually zero chance of success it become the enemy of a good compromise that is not perfect but produces a “good” step forward.

The creation of the United States Constitution is a case in point. Some were very disappointed that it made allowances for slavery, but supported it nevertheless because it did create a step forward in human freedom. These visionary souls saw that the document could be changed for the better in the future and that the time would come that another step would be made in freeing the slaves.

The Constitution still is not perfect, but has been the cause of much that is good and further changes may yet be coming that will lead to “a more perfect union.”

DK warns that “The temporary ideal (intended to guide the undeveloped aspirant) can become a barrier, separating him from truth and from the realisation of a truer vision. Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 85

Removing these barriers is the great task.

Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate. – John E Kennedy

The Power of Group Initiation, Part 1

DK tells us that the full consummation of group initiation has not happened yet, but when it does it will mark the most significant advance since the advent of humanity. It will “set in motion on earth a network of spiritual energies which will facilitate the regeneration of the world.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 23

He also speaks of “the formation upon the physical plane of that group of aspirants and disciples which, given time and opportunity, can salvage a distressed world and bring light and understanding to humanity.” Pages 22-23

He tells us to look for this to happen around the middle of the 21st century, but a fuller consummation may take a couple centuries:

“These—during the next two centuries—will change the face of our civilisation and inaugurate a period in human history in which methods will be tried and principles established which remain as yet totally unknown to the majority. That period will lead the race into a civilisation and a mutual, cooperative interplay which will bring to an end the present era of selfishness and competition.”   Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Pages 145-146

Since this will initiate a great advance in human evolution the natural question for us to ask is what can we expect from these emerging groups which will demonstrate this giant leap for human kind?

DK indicates that we had a foreshadowing of the power of such groups on the day of Pentecost as given in the book of Acts. He pointed out that when Peter addressed the multitude who spoke numerous languages, but all understood in their own tongue, that this foreshadowed an enhanced ability to communicate that these advanced groups will have. He says that:

The Pentecost will become truth. All men will come under the tide of inspiration from on high, and though they may speak with many tongues, they will all understand each other.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 47

This will go beyond the standard idea of telepathy and extend to a pure form of communication where there will be no misunderstanding. The oneness needed for future group work demands communication with full and correct understanding. This purity of communication will even extend beyond the physical plane:

“Can such a telepathic interplay be set up that the barrier of death will eventually prove no barrier at all and continuity of communication persist?” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 15

Not only will disciples be able to communicate with those who have passed on but they will have increased powers of intuition so they can have an enhanced grasp of higher knowledge so “there should eventuate such an enhancement of your powers to love, to intuit and to serve, that life will never again appear to be the same thing. You will grasp with surety then what now you dimly sense, and realise the wonder of group love, of group intuition and of group service; you will thus undergo a joint illumination, a shared response and a united effort. Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 76

This telepathic ability will not only extend to individuals, but from one group to another:

“More attention should be paid by occult students to the effect of the consciousness of one group upon another group, and the advancement of the lesser, by the means of the stimulating power of the greater, should be studied.” TCF, Page 463

From the account given in the New Testament it seems that the main thing that was different with Jesus and the apostles were the healing miracles, but DK indicates this may have been over emphasized:

“Only a Christ can heal by the use of the will, and He seldom in reality healed at all; in the cases where He is reported to have done so, His reason was to prove the possibility of healing; but-as you will note if you are familiar with the Gospel story—He gave no instructions to His disciples upon the art of healing. This is significant.”   Esoteric Healing, Pages 676-677

Miracles are often attributed to instantaneous healing as noted in the Bible, but in this present age such healings are rare. Many feel that they have experienced a miracle if they can experience a fairly rapid healing.

DK has written a lot on healing and he emphasizes the adjustment of the flow of life-giving prana so a rapid recovery will be made. He speaks to both individual and group healers. It is only logical then then those who have taken group initiation will have enhanced abilities to heal. Even three people in harmony within a group can achieve advanced power:

“If in any organisation on the physical plane the Masters can get a nucleus of even three people who mutually interact (I choose the word deliberately) and who disinterestedly follow the path of service, They can produce more definite results in a shorter space of time than is possible with a large and active body of people who may be sincere and earnest but do not know the meaning of trust in, and co-operation with each other and who guard not the gate of speech.” TCF, Page 978

Then he speaks of a future wherein groups will replace individuals as mediums of healing:

“Present day healers should endeavour to break loose from the modern and traditional ideas as to healing; they should recognise the stupendous fact that healing must eventually be carried forward by groups which will act as the intermediaries between the plane of spiritual energy (either soul energy, intuitional energy or will energy) and the patient or group of patients.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 37

Rather than placing emphasis on raising the dead, which is always a possibility, the healers of the future will seek to negate the fear of death and put it in its right perspective:

“If I were asked to say what is the major task of all healing groups, such as the Hierarchy seeks to see functioning in the future, I would say it is to prepare human beings for what we should regard as the restorative aspect of death, and thus give to that hitherto dreaded enemy of mankind a new and happier significance. You will find that if you work along these indicated lines of thought, the entire theme of death will constantly recur, and that the result of this will be new attitudes to dying and the inculcation of a happy expectancy where that inevitable and most familiar event occurs. Healing groups must prepare to deal with this basic condition of all living, and a major part of their work will be the elucidating of the principle of death. The soul, we are told, must return to the one who gave it. To date that has been an enforced and dreaded restitution, one which engenders fear and which leads men and women everywhere to clamour for the healing of the physical body, overemphasising its importance and making them regard the prolongation of earthly existence as the most important factor in their lives. During the next cycle, these wrong attitudes must come to an end; death will become a normal and understood process—as normal as the process of birth, though evoking less pain and fear. This comment of mine is in the nature of a prophecy and should be noted as such.” Esoteric Healing, Pages 389-390

So, what have we gathered so far about the forthcoming enhancements of group initiation?

There will be an enhanced ability to communicate and use of mental telepathy.

Intuitive powers will be increased along with group unity through soul contact.

Though the emphasis may not be on instantaneous healing, the power to heal and balance energies will be enhanced.

Rather than focusing in raising the dead the understanding of death as a doorway to a greater reality will be understood. When it is time to go a disciple will be able to emulate Jesus and, at will, release his spirit from the physical body and ascend.

These are a few abilities that those experiencing group initiation will have, but there is more that we’ll cover next.

“The energy of the unit is absorbed by the entire group and the group output in service is thereby increased. The group is then enabled to shift to a higher plane of service and of consciousness.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 578

The Power of Group Initiation, Part 2

When seekers learn that such a thing as group initiation can unite heaven and earth, even more solidly than was the case with the disciples with Jesus and on the day of Pentecost, they look at the powers that they had back then and anticipate that they could be even more pronounced in this age.

Some of the miracles described are pretty impressive. Jesus performed some amazing healing miracles and even raised Lazarus from the dead after being in the tomb for over three days. He also walked on water, turned water into wine, read minds and was himself raised from the dead. The after Pentecost mental telepathy was demonstrated along with tremendous healings. Peter walked through a wall and Phillip seemed to be teleported quite a distance.

Then Jesus made this promise to his followers: He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12

Some pretty impressive miracles were recorded there so the minds of seekers may run wild when they think of doing even greater works than Jesus.

What they do not consider is that a “greater work” does not necessarily translate to a more impressive miracle seen with the outer eye. The greatest miracles are those seen with the inner eye and involves transforming the hearts of humanity from the material world to the spiritual, from separation to union, from hate to love, all in the direction of the song of angels saying “Peace on earth, goodwill to all humankind.”

The greatest work to be done “will facilitate the regeneration of the world.”

That was a work that the Christ was unable to do in his time, but a greater work can now be done, after the struggle of the ages. Changing the hearts of many, instead of the few, will be a greater work for disciples today than was available any time in recorded history.

Think of it. Never in our known history has a stable peace and a universal brotherhood of goodwill been established on the earth. Manifesting this would be the greatest work ever accomplished in the history of humanity and the key to this is initiated groups who have linked heaven, or the Christ and his Hierarchy, with humanity.

The problem with outward miracles is that they impress people on an astral level and most of the ones that can be done by disciples can also be done by the dark brotherhood and their agents.

DK says this:

“May I remind you here that the Black Lodge initiates likewise heal or produce death and disease, and employ very similar techniques; the difference lies in the fact that they can work only with the personality rays of both healer and patient, and because they are more potent on the physical plane than are the Members of the Great White Lodge, their work is frequently most effective. The spiritual healer, working with the energies of light whenever possible, is seldom as effective physically. The members of the Black Lodge, or healers working under its influence, are, however, totally unable to work on a patient who is spiritually oriented to the slightest degree, and is therefore coming under the control of the soul; neither can they work through a healer who is spiritually oriented.” Esoteric Healing, Pages 705-706

This statement may remind one of the miracles done by the priests of the Pharoah in front of Moses or later by Simon Magus “which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one.” Acts 8:9

Early Christian writings portray him as a great distraction to the apostles for he impressed the people with miraculous healings and was said to be able to levitate and even fly. He could transform himself into a serpent, make the dead appear and numerous other magical things.

There was one thing he could not do and that was to manifest the Holy Spirit, for he only worked with lower material forces.

He was so impressed with the people receiving the Holy Spirit that he offered Peter money in hopes of obtaining power over it, to which Peter responded: “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.” Acts 8:20-21

The true Spiritual Hierarchy does not place strong emphasis on signs, for those representing the dark forces can show many, impressing those on an astral level. Furthermore, when signs do convert, they often draw the wrong people, for the Master said this: “A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.” Matt 16:4

The teachers of light realize that the only true conversion comes from the heart being touched by the higher life of the Spirit through the soul. When that happens the most profound miracle of all has occurred.

This is the miracle that will transform the world that group initiation will offer to successful seekers.

Even though the greatest miracle is the inner transformation, outer miracles will occur and will become more common among the workers in the light:

“Healing groups will work as follows. The circle of workers, with the unit to be healed placed in their midst, will definitely apply themselves to the healing of that unit by the use of set mantrams, and by the following of certain movements they will cause the focal point of the downpouring force to be the sick member in their midst. By the stimulating power of that force, by its re-building quality, or by its capacity to destroy and eliminate, what you call miracles will be matters of everyday occurrence. Letters on Occult Meditation, Page 200

It is encouraging then that true disciples can look forward to a time of the manifestation of miracles, both inner and outer. “Miracles will be matters of everyday occurrence.”

The Power of Group Initiation, Part 3

DK made a number of additional statements about the qualities and powers that will be manifest through the group initiation process. He said this:

“These groups constitute the germ of a great experiment. If successful, they will, in the course of the next 275 years:

[1] Anchor on earth certain types of the higher forces which the race needs and which are not yet active.

[2] Develop the six supernormal powers to which I have referred above.

[3] Train the group members in that synthetic relation which characterises the Hierarchy and so prepare them for initiation. Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Page 54

He mentions six supernormal powers. Let us review them:

[1] “Intuitional response to ideas.”

As usual, it is wise to pay attention to his exact wording. Notice he is not saying that the members of the future groups will merely respond to ideas, or even apply them, but they will have an “intuitional response” to them and such a response will be “supernormal.”

So, what is a supernormal intuitional response compared to a normal response to an idea?

The regular response involves the reaction of the lower or personality self to the idea and how it benefits him and make life better for the individual.

On the other hand, when intuition comes into play the idea is understood on the abstract as well as the material level. The person will see the idea as if it were his own and understand how it can be applied beyond the individual level, or beyond the one to the many.

Here is the next power:

[2] “Sensitiveness to the impression which some member of the Hierarchy may seek to make upon the mind of the disciple. It is for this reason that I am training you to utilise the Full Moon contact.”

This sensitiveness also involves the development of the intuitive faculty. It also involves the power of focused attention on the thoughts and impressions that come and go in the mind. There are thoughts that are merely caused by reflection on memories and calculations going on within the lower mind. Then there are thoughts and ideas that come from your own soul or Higher Self. Finally, there are impressions and ideas that come from higher lives such as the Spiritual Hierarchy. The disciple and group need to pay attention and learn to differentiate between n the sources of thoughts and ideas that flow through the core of the mind and heart.

[3] “Quick response to real need. You had not regarded this as one of the psychic powers, my brother, had you? I refer not here to a solar plexus reaction but to heart knowledge. Ponder on this distinction.”

The key phrase here is “real need.” People with good intentions desire to help others not as fortunate as themselves, but most are governed by solar plexus reactions which are not accurate, as they tend to reverse perception, as does a mirror, so the true need is not seen accurately. Instead of helping, a solar plexus reaction often enables and usually does more harm than good.

The disciple and the group need to shift the medium of perception from the solar plexus to the heart. Instead of going by sight and outward appearances of need, the heart can sense true need, something which is often unspoken, and by following this, the disciple can become a true and useful servant.

[4] “Right observation of reality upon the soul plane. This leads to right mental perception, to freedom from illusion and glamour and to the illumination of the brain.”

The group must overlook the personality and especially work to negate the dominance of the lower emotions connected with the astral plane. As DK says the astral plane is an illusion created by the interplay of the mind and the etheric life force in this physical realm. In the kingdom or realm of the soul the astral plane does not even exist as it seems to here.

The disciple and the group as a whole must focus on the soul as if the lower emotions do not exist, for then The clear cold light shines forth and cold it is and yet the heat—evoked by the group love—permits the warmth of energetic moving out.” (From Rule one for Disciples and Initiates)

Then he gives this warning concerning the distractions of the lower self:

“As long as a disciple in training is focussed in his personality, group initiation will not be possible for him, his recognition of co-aspirants will be fleeting and rapidly disturbed by the critical lower mind, and a wall of thoughtforms, created by the personality, anent the group members, will be thrown up and prevent a united moving forward through the Door of Initiation.” Rays and Initiations, Page 343

Next, he talks about dealing with forces:

[5] “Correct manipulation of force, involving, therefore, an understanding of the types and qualities of force and their right creative weaving into service upon the outer plane.”

There are many different types of forces but in particular he is referring to forces that can be weaved “into service upon the outer plane.”

This would include the forces that circulate through the seven major centers, especially those belonging to the three major aspects of power, love and light. When these are recognized by the disciple then the forces of the lower self, related to our passions, are directed toward service of the whole rather than the self.

Then we have the force of life itself reflected in the prana that animates us that becomes directed toward, not just survival, but seen as providing power to serve.

Tuning into the various forces and directing them constructively is an ongoing challenge to the disciple and the group.

This next one is something not usually seen as a power or agent for success:

[6] “A true comprehension of the time element, with its cyclic ebb and flow and the right seasons for action—a most difficult psychic power to master, my brothers, but one which can be mastered through the use of patient waiting and the elimination of hurry.” The six powers taken from Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 1, Pages 49-50

Everything goes in cycles including time itself which contains all the forces circulating within it. If the group correctly discerns the cycles, they can then throw energy in the right direction, which would be like rowing with the current. But if they discern wrongly they may be in a situation where they seem to be rowing upstream.

It is therefore a supernormal power to discern the flow of energy in the various cycles and then make use of them so the group can have the wind at its back, so to speak.

An important energy to discern at this  time is that from Shamballa which in this age is being released in cycles. The groups to come will be able to recognize the cycles of release and make use of them.

A Link with Shamballa

Perhaps the most impressive enhancement of human power through group initiation is projected in this quote:

“The energy of the divine will can and will galvanise with its dynamic potency the entire human family to the point where a group transition will take place from the fourth into the fifth kingdom.”      Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 667

Instead of an individual becoming a master, leaving the earth scene and joining with the fifth kingdom we have presented before us the possibility of an entire group, or groups will ‘transition” into the fifth kingdom. Imagine what that would be like. This group would remain on the earth among regular mortals, yet possess all the assets of Christ and the Spiritual Hierarchy. The first occurrence of this would represent the externalization of the Hierarchy where those who have the full consciousness of Christ walk among us again.

This externalization is predicted here:

“When an adequate number of members of the fourth kingdom have undergone the process of initiation (technically understood), then the fifth kingdom will come into exoteric manifestation.” Discipleship in the New Age, Vol 2, Page 381

This may be more literal than many students suppose:

“The Hierarchy incarnates on Earth again, and for the first time since its last incarnation in Atlantean days.  It is, however, a group incarnation and not the incarnation of individual Members.  This is probably a subtle point too difficult for you to grasp.” Rays and Initiations, Page 334

Yes, there may be individual masters who incarnate but in general we are told that it is “not the incarnation of individual Members,” but “a group incarnation.”

This group incarnation which is the beginning of group initiation marks the beginning of the true externalization of the Hierarchy, but in connection with initiated groups rather than individuals.

When this happens “human beings in group formation will act as transmitters of pure spiritual energy, which will vivify every form in every kingdom in nature.” A Treatise on White Magic, Page 530

Then there is this promise:

“Man’s work is to raise the dead to life, to bring brotherhood into expression on the physical plane, and to transmit divine energy to a waiting world of forms.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 1, Page 267

This event will be considered the fourth great rent removing the barriers between heaven and earth.  The first rent was through Moses, the second through the Christ and the third through Paul. Then DK predicts that, “A fourth great rent still remains to be made as a result of the energies released and the gained good which the three earlier rents have made possible. This fourth major rent will be made by humanity itself, standing with “massed intent,” focussed through the groups which are externalisations of the Ashrams of the Masters. It will therefore be made at the time that the Hierarchy takes physical shape upon the earth again.” The Rays and the Initiations, Page 194

Then he says this about the relation of initiated groups to the Hierarchy:

“They have, as a group, and from the angle of the Hierarchy, established a contact and are ‘in touch’ with the world of spiritual realitiesso does this group of aligned souls come into contact with certain greater Lives and Forces of Light, such as the Christ and the Buddha. The aggregated aspiration, consecration and intelligent devotion of the group carries the individuals of which it is composed to greater heights than would be possible alone. The group stimulation and the united effort sweep the entire group to an intensity of realisation that would otherwise be impossible.” Esoteric Psychology, Vol 2, Pages 112-113

He says that this process “carries the individuals of which it is composed to greater heights than would be possible alone.”

What are these greater heights?

It is greater than the fifth kingdom itself – beyond the spiritual Hierarchy to the seventh kingdom – Shamballa, where resides the Ancient of Days and his great council.

“In this way, if you will note carefully, there is established a direct linked chain from humanity, via the Hierarchy, to Shamballa. The Hierarchy is working at the establishing of this chain, aided by Their disciples.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 308

“When the group—as a whole—has reached a similar point of realisation has together touched the fringes of this highest of all revelations for humanity. When, for the first time, they succeed in doing this, they will come—as a group—under the direct emanation of the Higher Three and under an aspect of the Council Chamber at Shamballa which has been hitherto unknown and unrealised. This will connote a high stage of initiation of the group and is, in effect, connected with inter-hierarchical activity.” Rays and Initiations, Page 271

The “higher three” would be the Three Buddhas  of Activity who are councilors to the Lord of the World – Sanat Kumara.

This link with the seventh kingdom of Shamballa is only possible through the existence among humanity of an initiated group. When this happens the power of the Planetary Logos will become accessible to humanity:

“It is only in group formation that, as yet, the Shamballa force of the will can be tapped. They are useless to the individual under the new initiatory dispensation. Only the group, under the proposed new mode of working and of group initiation, is capable of invoking Shamballa. Rays and Initiations, Page 35

This power will then be used to heal the earth.

“Then from Shamballa will descend a stream of spiritual potency, qualified by the will-to-good, and this will reach the attentive Hierarchy. The Members of this Group will, through the medium of the Christ, pour light and healing energy upon the Earth and peculiarly into the consciousness of men. I am not able to express the effect of the outpouring from Shamballa in clearer terms.” The Rays and the Initiations, Page 94

This next quote is a long one but paints a great picture of what is to  come when humanity becomes linked to Shamballa through the Spiritual Hierarchy:

“See you, therefore, the necessity of eventually organising a group in the world which will be so constituted and so carefully chosen and interiorly related that all its members are initiates, all have created their own “rainbow bridges” with understanding and accuracy, and all can now work in such complete unity that the group antahkarana becomes a channel of unimpeded communication direct from Shamballa to the group because every member of the group is a member of the Hierarchy. In this manner the three planetary centres arrive at the needed relationship, and another great triangle reaches true functioning activity. When this takes place, a revelation undreamt of will be manifested upon the Earth; a new divine quality, of which no knowledge at present exists, will make its presence felt, and the work of the Buddha and of the Christ, and the work of the coming Avatar, will be superseded by One for Whom both Shamballa and the Hierarchy have unitedly waited and of Whom the doctrine of the Messiah and the doctrine of Avatars have been and are today only the dim distant symbols… The group, therefore, to whom I address this instruction is not the group or groups who will first receive these papers. The instruction is intended for a group which will come later and which will prepare the way.” The Rays and the Initiations, Pages 257-258

A key phrase here is: “When this takes place, a revelation undreamt of will be manifested upon the Earth; a new divine quality, of which no knowledge at present exists.”

It is human nature to want to see physical signs and wonders such as great instant healings, raising the dead, teleportation etc. All that is possible but signs are not the goal of group initiation. They may occur, but more as an afterthought. The important miracle will be the transformation and redirection of human thought from the material world to the spiritual, from war to peace and from the focus on the individual self to what is good for humanity as a whole.

To this end all those who seek true group initiation dedicate their lives.

Who overcomes by force, hath overcome but half his foe. – John Milton

Why We Are Here

Why We Are Here

TEACHER: Where we came from, why we are here and where we are going are three questions that have been asked since humanity appeared on the earth. We will delve into these as clearly as possible using the scriptures and common sense as guidelines. Most religious teachers seem to think that we began at birth and before that time we were in total oblivion. Few realize that this idea is contrary to the Bible. In this lesson we are going to show you that:

[1] Man is an eternal being who existed before birth.

[2] Why we are here.

[3] Where we go after we die

[4] That humans are reborn, or reincarnated until they reach perfection.

The Bible clearly tells us that there is a spirit in man but a scripture that illustrates this quite well was given by Paul.

“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, [Whether in the body, I cannot tell, or whether OUT OF THE BODY, I cannot tell: God knoweth;] such an one caught up to the third heaven.” II Cor 12:2

Paul here speaks of being caught up to the third heaven and he tells us that he could not tell if he was in the body or out of the body. Why do you suppose he could not tell if he was out of his body or not?

STUDENT: Because being out of the body was similar to being in the body.

TEACHER: Have you heard of out-of-body experiences that people have had in recent times?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: As you probably know there are many books written on the subject relating near-death experiences where people have left their bodies and were hardly aware of it. In fact, their astral, or spirit, body seemed so much like their regular body that they often thought they were still in the physical. Often when these people are brought back to life, they will relate conversations they heard or events they have seen that happened some distance from their physical body, but were verified to be true. Does it sound here like Paul may have had an out-of-body experience?

STUDENT: It seems so. He even uses the phrase “out of the body.”

TEACHER: First we’ll read one of the more metaphysical scriptures in the Bible.

“Or ever THE SILVER CORD BE LOOSED, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel be broken at the cistern. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the SPIRIT SHALL RETURN unto God who gave it.” Eccl 12:6-7

Those who have had out-of body experiences have seen that the spirit or astral body is connected to the physical by a silver cord. Many spiritual people throughout the world believe that this silver cord is a life cord that sustains us and that at death it is severed. In this scripture the writer is talking about what happens at death. What does he say happens to the silver cord?

STUDENT: It is loosed.

TEACHER: He also tells us that at death the golden bowl is broken. Do you have any idea what this is?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: This is the etheric body which is an energy body of light and us somewhat golden in color. The great thing about this is that you can actually see it. Would you like to see my golden bowl, or etheric body?

STUDENT: Why not?

TEACHER: Stand several feet away against a light wall, preferably white. Now look at me right in the center of my forehead for a minute or so and don’t take your eyes off for a second. [Have the student stare at you for about two minutes.] Now keep staring at this same location without moving your eyes while I move away. What do you see?

STUDENT: Wow! I see a glowing yellow or golden image.

TEACHER: This is the golden bowl which is broken at death. It is not the spirit which continues to survive. The pitcher broken at the fountain, and the wheel be broken at the cistern refers to the destruction of the physical body. What does it say happens to the spirit of man at death?

STUDENT: It says it returns to God.

TEACHER: Can you return to a place if you have not been there before?

STUDENT: Not really

TEACHER: If we return to God, does that mean that we came from there?

STUDENT: It would seem so.

TEACHER: Now most people believe that we as individuals had no existence before birth. How does this scripture indicate to us that this is not the case, that we did exist before birth?

STUDENT: If we return to God at death we must have been there sometime before birth.

TEACHER: Now there are a lot of religions who believe that all there is to this spirit is the breath and that we have no consciousness or form away from the body. Let’s read a scripture from Paul that clarifies this:

“The things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle [the physical body] were dissolved, we have a building of God, [The Spirit of man] an house not made with hands, ETERNAL in the heavens.” II Cor. 4:18;5:1

Now the “earthly house” would be our physical body. What happens when this dies or dissolves?

STUDENT: We still have a house made without hands, eternal in the heavens.

TEACHER: Now reread the first scripture. How does that tell us we still have consciousness out of the body?

STUDENT: If Paul could not tell if he was out of the body or in the body then we must still have our natural consciousness out of the body.

TEACHER: There are a number of scriptures that clearly teach that we lived before birth. Please read this from Titus 1:2:

“In hope of eternal life which God who cannot lie PROMISED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN.”

When did God promise eternal life to us?

STUDENT: Before the world began?

TEACHER: How could he promise it to us if we were not there?

STUDENT: He couldn’t.

TEACHER: Now we will read a fascinating scripture that reveals where we were before the world began. Here the “I” referred to represents the wisdom of God. This could have been Jesus Christ or the Christ in us.

“The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: When he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: When he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; rejoicing in the habitable part of HIS EARTH; and my delights were WITH THE SONS OF MEN.” Prov 8:1,22-31

How do we know that wisdom, or Christ was speaking of a time before the creation of the world?

STUDENT: It says clearly that the earth was not made yet.

TEACHER: And who did Wisdom share his delights with [verse 31]?

STUDENT: The sons of men.

TEACHER: Are you and I part of the sons of men?

STUDENT: Sure.

TEACHER: Where were we at when we rejoiced with God and wisdom?

STUDENT: In the habitable part of his earth?

TEACHER: Do you think this may mean that we lived on other planets and spheres before we lived on this earth?

STUDENT: It seems to indicate that.

TEACHER: God verified to Jeremiah that he knew him somewhere before he was born on this earth.

“Then came the word of the Lord unto me saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I KNEW THEE; and BEFORE thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4-5

Why did God know that Jeremiah would make a good prophet?

STUDENT: He knew him before he was born.

TEACHER: This also makes sense. Most of the religious world tells us that man will live forever but began at birth. Modern mathematics teaches that this is impossible, that there is no such thing as a beginning to something that lasts for infinity. Therefore, if man lives forever after death, he also had to exist forever before birth. That sounds logical doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Seems to.

TEACHER: One of the great mysteries sages have pondered on throughout time is the question of why we are here. Have you ever wondered this?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Now the Bible does not come out and say point blank what the purpose of humanity is, but the answer can be discovered by searching the scriptures. A clue to our destiny is given in the name of God. When Moses had his great revelation and spoke to God face to face the first question he ask of Him was his name. The reason he asked his name was simple. In those days a person’s name represented something very important about the person. For instance, Moses meant “drawn from the water,” Joseph meant “he will increase” and David meant “Beloved of God.” Moses thought that God’s name would tell him once and for all who or what he was. We can read God’s answer in Exodus.

“And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” Exodus 3:14

I AM THAT I AM seems like a strange name doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: One of the reasons that people have had difficulty in making sense of it is because this is not an accurate translation. It is more correctly rendered: I AM BECOMING WHAT I AM BECOMING. In other words, God was telling Moses that he could not give him a name like the Hebrews used that would reveal who he was because he was becoming whatever it was he wanted to become. Moses learned that God was an evolving God and that His goals, pupose and plan would be different tomorrow than it is today. Therefore a meaningful name given in one age may lose its meaning in the next. After examining this name do you think that God himself still sets goals for himself?

STUDENT: I would think so if he is in a state of becoming.

TEACHER: “Becoming” is very close in meaning to “evolving.” What God chooses to be, or evolve toward is certainly a goal isn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Imagine what your life would be like if you had reached some ultimate perfection and could have no new goals. That sounds pretty boring, doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Yet the sects of the world seem to wish this nightmare existence on God. Actually, they have it backwards. God is the God of life and life is newness and change. A static condition is death and this is the true hell. Now we’ll read an interesting scripture in Isaiah

“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7

Does it say here that we can be called by God’s name?

STUDENT: Yes

TEACHER: When the I AM presence in us decides to be or do a certain thing and we allow ourselves the freedom to do it then we bear the name of God. Now why does it say that God created us?

STUDENT: For his glory.

TEACHER: We bring glory to god by glorifying his name and we do this by becoming free to accomplish any good goal that we set for ourselves to all eternity. Just like we are proud of our children, and happy they bear our names when they learn to set worthwhile goals and reach them, even so is God glorified when we realize we must actively pursue a joyous life. That sounds a lot better than just playing a harp for eternity doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Now let us find out what happens when we die. Jesus gives us a clue in his words to the repentant thief that was crucified with him:

“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

Where did Jesus say that he and the thief would be after death?

STUDENT: In Paradise.

TEACHER: Peter tells us of another place Jesus visited:

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.” I Peter 3:18-19

Where did Jesus go to preach here?

STUDENT: To the spirits in prison.

TEACHER: From these two scriptures we have read we know that Jesus visited two places in the spirit world. One was a place called paradise where he promised to meet the repentant thief. The other place is called the spirit prison where live the “unjust.” In the next chapter Peter tells us why Jesus visited this spirit prison.

“For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” I Peter 4:6 Who did Jesus teach the gospel to here while his body was in the tomb?

STUDENT: The dead.

TEACHER: Why is that?

STUDENT: So they can be judged on the same basis as the living.

TEACHER: Its only logical that the dead need to be taught the truth just as much as do we the living. Now we basically know where we go right after we die the question is: What happens to us next? The next scripture gives us a clue.

“The hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” John 5:28-29

How many does it say here will hear the voice of God and be resurrected?

STUDENT: All that are in the graves.

TEACHER: The scripture talks about two resurrections. What are they?

STUDENT: The resurrection of life and the resurrection of damnation.

TEACHER: The word “resurrection” means “to come to life again.” The scriptures make it clear that the resurrection of life was the kind that Jesus had. That is, even though his body was destroyed, he came back from the spirit world and brought it back to life and then ascended to his Father. Do you have any idea what the resurrection of damnation is?

STUDENT: I’m not sure. Hell perhaps.

TEACHER: People misunderstand what the resurrection of damnation is because the word is a mistranslation. “Damnation” comes from the Greek word KRISIS and in the King James Bible has been translated as “accusation, condemnation, damnation and judgement.” Translators are reluctant to render it correctly because it does not support orthodox Christian thought. The modern English word “crisis” comes from it and the Greek implies “a decision that brings correction.” The word “damnation is not even a close word to this. Therefore, if we translate the phrase “resurrection of damnation” literally from the Greek it would read: “Coming to life again to face decisions that bring correction.” The modern English word that is closest to this meaning is “reincarnation.” Have you ever considered that we may live more than one life on the earth?

STUDENT: I’ve thought about it.

TEACHER: It is interesting that the only useful scripture in the Bible for refuting reincarnation has the word KRISIS in it.

“And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgement.” Hebrews 9:27

On the surface here it sounds like we will only die once and therefore only live once, doesn’t it?

STUDENT: Seems to.

TEACHER: When we read it in the Greek, however, we get a different view. “But” comes from ALLA which literally means “contrariwise.” This tells us that “after this the judgement” contradicts the “once to die.” The word “judgement” here is the key to the scripture. Again, it is a mistranslation for it also comes from the word KRISIS. No doubt Paul is telling us that we will only have to die once if we are entering the resurrection of life, but the exception will be those who enter the resurrection of KRISIS. This is supported by another scripture.

“They [the dead] were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast [to suffer a second death] into the lake of fire.” Revelations 20:12-15

How do we know that we can die more than once?

STUDENT: Because the scripture clearly mentions a second death.

TEACHER: Those who do not suffer the second death are written in the book of life. Which resurrection do you suppose these people will have.

STUDENT: The resurrection of life.

TEACHER: Which resurrection will those not written in the book of life have who also suffer a second death?

STUDENT: Probably the resurrection of KRISIS [mistranslated damnation].

TEACHER: The Bible tells us how long we must suffer the resurrection of KRISIS:

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” I Corinthians 3:16-17

The scriptures tell us that the temple of God is the body. What happens if we defile it?

STUDENT: We will be destroyed.

TEACHER: Our bodies return to dust and are destroyed until we quit defiling ourselves. We live many lifetimes and are reborn again and again until we do not defile ourselves. When perfection is reached we are then written in the Book of Life and are brought back to life again in a perfect undefiled body that does not have to ever die again. A few verses later Paul gives some interesting information to those who are following the Spirit.

“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.” I Corinthians 3:21-23

How many things are promised to those who follow the Spirit?

STUDENT: It says “all things are yours.”

TEACHER: In other words, those who do not defile themselves can have their choice of anything they want. It even says they can choose life or death. How do you suppose we choose life?

STUDENT: That would probably be the everlasting life that is talked about.

TEACHER: It says that we can also choose death. It is not speaking of death here as a punishment, but as something we are free to choose. Do you have any idea as to how this could happen?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: The average person is forced to be reborn whether he wants to or not in circumstances not to his choosing, but he who follows the spirit may choose to be reborn and live a mortal life in circumstances of his choosing to accomplish some good purpose. Being able to choose death in this way is a nice option to have, isn’t it?

STUDENT: It seems to be.

TEACHER: Paul also says “things present, or things to come” are ours. If we have the freedom to be reborn whenever we want in circumstances we choose then that gives us the power to enjoy the challenges and experiences of any future age we wish. Have you ever thought that you would like to live in an era when there was perfect peace and harmony on the earth?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: If we follow the spirit then we can make that choice. Jesus elaborates on this further.

“And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you. That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.” Matthew 19:28-29

The word “regeneration” is an interesting one. It comes from the Greek PALLGGENESIA. It basically means “to be reborn again and again.” Therefore, the scripture is telling us that the Son of man will sit on the throne of power on the earth not once, but numerous times and that his followers will judge [or set right] Israel numerous times. Next he tells us that those who forsake ‘houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands” for his sake shall receive a reward. What is that?

STUDENT: A hundredfold and life everlasting.

TEACHER: What will the person receive a hundredfold of?

STUDENT: I’m not sure.

TEACHER: The Gospel of Mark carifies this somewhat:

“But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time [era], houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.” Mark 10:30

We are plainly told here that if we make a sacrifice for Christ and have to forsake a mother or father, for instance, that in this era we can have a hundred of them back. Is there any way you can literally have a hundred mothers and fathers without being reborn?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Now we can see how this whole scripture makes sense when we translate “regeneration” as “to be reborn again and again.” The Bible indicates that reincarnation was a popular doctrine among the people. When Jesus was with his disciples he asked them who the people were saying he was. We can read their response in Matthew 16:14:

“And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elijah; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. Why would the common people think that Jesus could be Elijah, Jeremiah or one of the prophets returning?” Matthew 16:14:

STUDENT: They must have believed in rebirth.

TEACHER: One of the reasons that they thought Jesus may have been Elijah is that the Bible prophesied that he would appear before the coming of Christ. We can read this in Malachi 4:5-6:

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6:

Who would God send before the coming of the Lord?

STUDENT: Elijah.

TEACHER: Now let us read the Angel Gabriel’s words concerning John the Baptist:

“And he [John] shall go before him [Jesus] in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17

Does this sound as if John the Baptist fulfilled the prophecy of the coming of Elijah?

STUDENT: It seems to.

TEACHER: Jesus tells us clearly that John the Baptist was Elijah in answer to his disciple’s question on the subject..

“Why then do our teachers say that Elijah must come first? He replied, Yes Elijah will come and set everything right. But I tell you, that Elijah has already come, and they failed to recognize him, and worked their will upon him; and in the same way the Son of Man is to suffer at their hands. Then the disciples understood that he meant John the Baptist.” Matthew 17:10-13 New English Bible

Who did Jesus here say fulfilled the prophecy of the coming of Elijah?

STUDENT: John the Baptist.

TEACHER: Jesus not only said that Elijah had already come, but notice that he said that he also “will come and set everything right.” How do you think this prophecy will be fulfilled?

STUDENT: Perhaps John will be reborn before the next coming of Christ.

TEACHER: Jesus repeats this affirmation in Matthew. We will read from the Concordant Version which is more accurate than the King James:

“And if you are willing to receive him [John the Baptist], he is Elijah…” Matthew 11:14

That’s about as clear as word can be, isn’t it?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Elijah is not the only prophet who is to be reborn and do an additional work. A similar promise was made to John the Revelator:

“And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” Revelation 10:10-11

John was an old man when he received this vision so how could he fulfill the prophecy to teach many people in different lands?

STUDENT: He’d probably have to be reborn.

TEACHER: One of the main reasons that more and more people are accepting reincarnation is that it introduces the principle of fairness in God’s plan. The orthodox way of looking at the opportunity for eternal life seems to be lacking something. For instance, many religions teach that we only have one life and when we die that is it. There are no more chances to prove ourselves in the flesh or to catch up on what we missed out on. If eternal life does indeed last billions of years, then this life is less than an hour in comparison to it. Do you think it would be fair for someone to sit you at a desk with no preparation and command you to take a test for one hour which will determine whether you life in rags or riches for the rest of your life?

STUDENT: It doesn’t seem so.

TEACHER: Yet this is the reasoning that man thinks God uses. Would it be fair if you were placed with others of better natural ability than yours, yet judged by the same standards?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Yet the people think that God makes no allowances for the differing stages of man’s spiritual awareness. What if you were to die before you could finish the test, or even review your answers? Would it be fair to judge your test with a half hour’s work on the same basis as those who had the full hour?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Yet people think that if a person dies when he is twenty, or thirty, he will be judged on the same basis as one who lives to be a hundred. Let us say that two brothers were headed to hell at age twenty and one dies. The other lives to a ripe old age and straightens out his life and dies a saint. Is it fair that the brother who died first suffer for all eternity without another chance whereas the other one has eternal bliss.

STUDENT: I wouldn’t think so.

TEACHER: Furthermore, if the latter man loved his brother could he really enjoy heaven if he knew his brother was suffering?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Could you enjoy being in heaven if your loved ones were suffering in hell for all eternity without the possibility of another chance?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: What is wrong and unjust with the orthodox doctrine of heaven and hell?

STUDENT: It is not fair.

TEACHER: Jesus tried to correct the notion that God was not fair.

“Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:9-11

Here Jesus tells us that earthly fathers have enough sense to try and give good things to their children, but God is much better and wiser than they. Now would you sentence one of your children to burn forever in hell?

STUDENT: No.

TEACHER: Then neither would God for he knows how to give better gifts than you do. We do however, give our children temporary punishments so they can learn don’t we?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: God also allows us to suffer pain in this world so we can learn. Now a good earthly parent would not only refuse to sentence his child to an eternal hell, but he would also never give up on the child and always seek to help him or her progress. Yet what do many think God’s attitude toward the damned is on judgement day?

STUDENT: He gives up on them

TEACHER: Fortunately, the fundamentalist view of heaven and hell is not supported by the Bible. Let us read several scriptures relating the true will of God toward man.

Paul spoke of God “who will have all men to be saved, and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” I Tim 2:4

“Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 18:14

What is the true will of God here?

STUDENT: That all should be saved and none perish.

TEACHER: Do you think that God has power to fulfill his will?

STUDENT: Yes.

TEACHER: Therefore, do you think that all his children will eventually be saved?

STUDENT: It seems so.

Reviewing Principles

Reviewing Principles

What a principle is.

A fact is merely a piece of information that anyone can incorporate into their brain memory. It can likewise be programmed into a computer. A principle is a different matter. A principle is the underlying truth that makes all facts valid. It requires judgment to use and cannot be programmed into a computer.

For instance, the Constitution of the United States is built around the principle of the Free Agency of man. Around this principle has sprung the Constitution and thousands of books containing millions of facts. In the days of the foundation of this country there was only a handful of enlightened people who were able to understand the principle of freedom. People of a lower order could not see it. There was no way that King George from England could teach or enlighten George Washington in any degree on this principle even though he probably had as many facts in his head on the subject as Washington did. On the other hand, Washington could have done much to enlighten the King if he was willing to listen.

It takes a thousand facts to paint a clear picture of one principle, but the understanding of one principle reveals thousands of facts. It takes a certain point in the evolution of the human being to comprehend the difference between a principle and a fact but when he does, and learns to go within and touch the soul, then all the understanding and vision of a principle is revealed in a flash. Sometimes a book can be written about a principle revealed in one instant.

What is the difference between a principle and a law?

A principle is that which demonstrates the intelligence of God and makes things in the universe work toward a dominating good.

A law is a description of the working of a principle, or principles. By law I am referring to universal laws and not manmade rules.

If the law is accurately described then the perfection of God is made manifest because such a description shows the consistency of the principle and allows us to predict the future actions of the mind of God in the universe.

For instance, all form is held in place through the principle of magnetism which is an aspect of the principle of Love.

All the laws we have concerning gravity are produced by observing and describing this principle in action.

Within our souls is the capability of recognizing whether or not a thing is true. When a principle is spoken, you’ll feel within yourself the vibration of certain chords that ring true.

A principle is true yesterday, today and forever, but knowledge [as data] changes by the hour [the temperature for example]. The language of the Holy Spirit is composed of principles, not data. To know all things in the language of the spirit is to know all principles.

True principles are always in effect all around us. The universe is built upon true principles, held together by them and will be dissolved by them. True principles govern our lives, our deaths, our relationships, our sorrow and our joys.

The bird flies making use of true principles, yet does not understand the principle of flight or realizes it exists. So it is with us. We live in a sea of principles, which governs all things, yet until we touch the soul we do not even realize what a principle is.

Many of the best authors touch upon a principle. Some have a sense of that which they have discovered, while others do not discern them from facts. Sometimes you can find a principle in a book written by an author that does not know what a principle is.

A principle is not created. A principle is always present and always works without beginning or end.

Take the principle of cause and effect. Was there ever a time that it did not work? Cause and effect has always been here and always will.

Take another principle:

**If there is no beginning there will be no end.

No one created this; it just exists past, present and future. Take a look at any true principle and you will see it had no creation, but just always is and always works and cannot be destroyed.

I think that truth, as a principle, is so abstract, that it needs its own “vehicle” in order to manifest. So, we have to speak of “knowledge of the truth” or “the light of truth”. When the light of truth is thrown on a conflict [illusion versus illusion], the illusion is swept away and the conflict vanishes.

A principle is an enunciation of what is. A principle isn’t made. A principle is eternal and it always is. Like Newton said, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. He discovered a principle. From that he was able to deduce a multitude of truths.

The truth that makes us free is found in the understanding of true principles.

The challenge for us to advance from facts and data to the language of principles and then, when a principle is understood, advance to a higher principle still.

There is a hierarchy of truth. The bottom of the hierarchy is truth manifesting on the physical plane. At the top of the hierarchy is the truth that there is One Great Life we call God. I am only stating God as a fact, a piece of data, because the principle behind God is a great mystery which has never been revealed.

As we advance from physical plane truth to truth on the higher planes, that which binds us is loosed and greater freedom is obtained.

A principle is true yesterday, today and forever, but knowledge [as data] changes by the hour [the temperature for example]. The language of the Holy Spirit is composed of principles, not data. To know all things in the language of the spirit is to know all principles.

Let’s compare us to a slug. We don’t really know anything about the slug’s world but our knowledge is much higher than that of the slug. Just as we’re thinking on a much higher level so are the higher lives whose language is the language of principles where they can communicate principles, which is equal to thousands of pieces of data in one instant. They communicate without knowing anything about the data because they don’t need to know the data. They only need to know the principle. So when the principle is communicated by the higher lives, the lower type of knowledge isn’t even necessary but the lower type of knowledge can be discovered if it’s important for it to be discovered. When a principle is communicated to us we can translate that principle into a language we can understand by explaining it with a lot of data. The higher lives don’t have to do that.

Dreams are true while they last, and do we not live in dreams? – Alfred Lord Tennyson

Failure to Communicate

Failure to Communicate

Note from 2026: I attempted to illustrate how difficult it can be for two sincere people to reach agreement when there is a lack of understanding between the two. This was an important subject because these type of disagreements can come up in the molecule and create a disturbance in the force.

The controversial subject we were dealing with was Obama’s order to assassinate Anwar al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen living in Yemen who was linked to terrorism. Was Obama justified or not?

To keep it simple I suggested that we start with the question as to whether the action was within the President’s rights and if it was legal.

Before we even explored that question the group descended into arguing about what a “right” was and what the word “legal” means.

The argument continued for weeks going through many thousands of words and dozens of posts that I will not include here.

Agreement was never reached as each had their pet definition of the words right and legal and accurate communication was never achieved.

The only benefit of the dialog was that it illustrated the truth of what I was teaching on the difficulty of reaching oneness when people’s biases are at play, and the difficult road we have to travel in reaching the harmony necessary to create a working molecule .

The following is my post which attempts to wrap up the argument and move onward.

My post from 2011:

I’ve been contemplating the unresolved differences we have had lately and have some thoughts to share.

The question that might arise in these discussions, not only with the current members, but others in the past is this.

How is it that any two sincere seekers cannot resolve their differences when both have had a degree of soul contact in the past?

The answer is this. The language of the soul is the language of principles. To resolve differences, you have to distil away the non-essentials until you are left with the pure language of principles. It is then that differences can be resolved.

To understand this let us examine the principles involved in the argument that I [and others] have had..

[1] The Principle of Freedom. This relates to decisions, actions, plans, procedures, laws, etc. that bring the greatest amount of freedom to the largest possible number of people.

I believe that all involved in the discussion heartily accept this principle.

[2] Laws are a branch under the Principle of Order, which are under the Principle of Creation. Just laws should therefore enhance order and creativity, or life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Some laws made and accepted by man conform to true principles and some do not.

[3] The Principle of Justice. I believe that all here accept this and want it to prevail.

[4] The Principle of Judgment. Good judgment is necessary in the creating and application of law as they apply to humanity

I think we all agree on these basic principles and if we had a discussion just dealing with them, not resorting to specifics, we would most likely be in harmony and open to group soul contact. So what causes the actual differences then?

The problem arises when we take our focus off true principles and put them on details that are not principles.

The biggest detail that has been a problem is the definition of “legal.”

The reason that arguing over definitions is a lost cause is that they have nothing to do with any of the principles of the argument. Instead, words can be used in any language with any definition to communicate true principles. Communication of principles is not dependent on how words are exactly defined. If it were, one could never explain a principle translated from a foreign language as all the words are different after the translation.

Every time I have had an augment with someone who reverts to the dictionary or some other source to prove the meaning of words, I know the argument is going nowhere.

On the other hand, every time that I have been in harmony with someone there is never a need to go to the dictionary to define a word to prove something.

Why?

Because two people touching the soul together can understand each other and sense the meaning of the communication even if some of the words may not seem to be used exactly right.

When Jesus said “destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up” his enemies thought he was referring to the temple in Jerusalem, but those closest to him knew he was speaking of his body.

When we are close to someone and tune into them then we will know what they mean even if they use words differently than we personally define them.

Now our friend thinks a law is not legal if it does not conform to the morality of natural law. That’s fine and I accept that he thinks this way.

The problem is the question in discussion was not related to this definition, but to how the legal system of today defines legal. When a judge, police officer or attorney uses the word “legal” he means something different than our friend does. Since he does not seem to recognize legal by the common use today [and this is what the discussion was supposed to be about] we had a huge communication gap.

The gaps create the illusion that we disagree on principles when we do not.

Maybe I should have asked him something like this. “Was Obama’s action legal as seen through this corrupt system where everything is going to hell in a handbasket?”

Maybe that would have worked.

Perhaps I can illustrate the problem with a different word. Instead of legal or rights let us use the word “cool.”

Jim: That’s a cool song.

Bob: You’re wrong. Cool means a low temperature and a song has no temperature. It cannot be cool.

Jim: But there’s more than one definition of cool. I’m not talking about temperature. I’m saying that was a good song.

Bob: But cool, hot and cold can only be measured in degrees. A thing has to have natural form and mass to be cool. A song has neither.

Jim: You’re not listening. I’m not talking about cool as related to temperature but to the quality of a thing.

Bob: But cool is always related to temperature.

Jim: Where do you get that idea?

Bob: That was the original meaning. Any change of the meaning is just a corruption.

Jim sighs…

Even so, what is called natural moral law is as different from the legalities necessary to legally execute Awlaki as are the two definitions of cool.

When I asked if it was legal I wasn’t asking if it conformed to a version of what is moral nor was I referencing anyone else’s version of morality but merely a legality that would be accepted in a current court of law.

Anyway, the key to union is to first listen to what the other person is actually saying, stay close to the soul and tune into each other so true communication can be established.

Steve Job’s Last Words

Just before his death Steve looked at his sister Patty, then at his children, then his wife and next he seemed to look beyond them at empty space and said these words:

Oh Wow! Oh Wow! OH WOW!!!

Then he passed over, apparently going to the place he was seeing. LINK

Infiltrating Religion

Infiltrating Religion

One Sunday School Class at a Time

Adam Clayton made an interesting post that needs to be presented in full. Here it is:

My wife, Marnie, has gone through a re-think of Mormonism over the past several years, thanks to me and my experiences and readings, and, in turn, her own experiences and readings. Often now, when she hears or reads some “Mormon speak” in a family or church setting, she cringes. She’s fond of telling me that I’ve “ruined” her. We both, of course, feel very grateful for JJ’s teachings and the “ruin” the teachings have caused us.

Marnie still takes our children to church for the social aspect and to give them some exposure to spiritual teachings and the family culture. Occasionally, Marnie is asked to substitute teach for one of our children’s Sunday school classes, as happened a few weeks ago.

The lesson was on “being pure” – this for a bunch of six-year-olds. It’s amazing what we don’t see when we’re firmly entrenched in thought forms, reinforced by a strong culture. The lesson suggested that the teacher use salt and pepper to illustrate personal purity and impurity – again, this to a bunch of six-year-olds. The lesson emphasized a lot of guilt and unworthiness. Marnie didn’t care for the message, the examples, and the way it was taught, especially given the young audience. [Yes, the church does a lot of good and teaches a few nice things, but other such ridiculous teachings are not flukes or aberrations.

A while back Marnie listened to the Primary President read from Malachi to about 50 children. She told them that those who do not pay tithing will burn! – yes, in so many words and with that emphasis. And many other examples there are. Many of you I’m sure are familiar with such ridiculous and often harmful things that go on in what is supposed to be an educational and spiritual environment.]

Anyway, my wife didn’t like the lesson, so, God bless her, of her own volition, without my prompting or consultation, she changed it. She got out some darts and a target and used JJ’s teaching about Hamartano, the Biblical Greek word for sin. [I know JJ is not the only person to teach this, but JJ’s writings are where we first heard the true definition and analogy to shooting an arrow at a target] Needless to say, the lesson was a hit [yes, punned] with the kids. Aside from being fun and entertaining, the six-year-olds actually “got it” and they gave Marnie insightful feedback, like: “Oh, that makes sense. If we make mistakes we just try again. We practice doing better. Practice makes perfect” and so on. A much healthier message, no? A better message than: “when you sin, you are impure, like little black spots before God; and all of the accompanying thoughts of unworthiness and guilt that are likely to be imagined by impressionable and innocent minds.

A small success. But much more doable, since we can’t all go around dusting our feet to general authorities, much as I would like.

But, the small success didn’t end there. Marnie’s mother happened to be teaching the same lesson this week to the six-year-olds in her congregation. Her mother’s printer wasn’t working, so Marnie downloaded and printed the lesson for her. When her mother came by to pick it up, they started discussing the lesson. Marnie mentioned that she had taught it a few weeks back. She expressed to her mother that she didn’t care for the way the lesson was taught, especially for that kind of an audience. Her mother, a very orthodox Mormon, actually could see what Marnie was saying about the lesson’s poor wording, conceptualization, and analogies. Marnie told her mother what she had done and how successful it had been. Marnie’s mother “loved it.” [Can you imagine how amused/pleased I am as I listen to Marnie repeat the conversation?] “Where did you get that idea?” her mother asked. “That’s a fantastic way to teach about sin. I’m going to use that idea instead.” That’s probably about as far as Marnie could safely go with her mother. I guess we’ll never know whether her mother would have taught the lesson or not, had Marnie revealed her source:]

Truth can actually resonate when it’s not being filtered through pre-existing biases and belief. Truth can actually resonate when it’s not being filtered through pre-existing biases and belief. Oh, what…wait..what?

How we’d love to actually tell her mother where that teaching came from, but that might ruin it and halt further use of the analogy.

Another success. A few more kids who weren’t bludgeoned and burdened with guilt ridden propaganda, for an hour anyway. One Sunday school class at a time. Maybe Marnie’s mom will share with another orthodox adult who will unwittingly teach truth, as taught by an excommunicated apostate. Classic. Had to share.

Thank you for ruining us, JJ.

Adam and Marnie

JJ: Thanks for the encouraging letter Adam. What you say illustrates the power of the enunciation of true principles. A teacher may receive some light and do his or her best to promote it and die unrecognized, but if one has followed the highest he knows some seeds will be planted and the tiniest of seeds will grow to great plants and multiply until all of humanity will someday realize the true reality. You planted a seed in your wife and your wife in her mother and the kids. Some will take that seed and plant it in others until the day comes that the apostles of the church will be talking about shooting arrows a targets until we become proficient in the paths of righteousness. Who knows, that apostle might be one of the kids taught by your wife.

So readers can put this post in context I am inserting a previous explanation that was given about sin:

It may seem strange that I list sin as a principle. The problem with this word is that the true meaning has been lost and this has caused the principle to be lost. In today’s religious world sin is now a fact rather than a principle. Ministers see sin as the idea that we are all sinners and that is that. Jesus will save us if we just believe.

So what is the real meaning of sin and the principle in countering it?

The orthodox Christian view of sin is that it involves breaking the laws given out by God.

The scripture says: “Sin is the transgression of the law.” John 3:4

“The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.” Cor 15:56

For instance, one of the Ten Commandments says to not steal. If you steal you are therefore transgressing the law and thus you commit sin. Sounds pretty simple and cut and dried. Not quite.

To understand sin we have to look below the surface at the principles involved and first ask this question.

What negative effect does one suffer from sin? Forget about the next world for now, for there is no way to prove what happens there, but we do understand effects from our own experience in this life. How does the sinner suffer in the here and now?

Outside of repercussions of the effects of our actions the main suffering comes from guilt. When a person feels he has violated the law of God he suffers from this.

So what is it about sin that creates the guilt?

It is this. When a person accepts a word or command as coming from God, or a strong authority, and then violates that will, guilt is a natural effect. Thus if he violates a commandment as seen coming from God or a parent figure he can feel guilt.

The strange thing that few consider is this point. The command does not have to come from God to create guilt. It can (and usually does) come from an outside authority who is a substitute for God. For a small child this can be a parent but for the grownups it is some human authority who claims to know God’s will and speaks on his behalf.

When a person becomes subject to such an authority then anything he says becomes the law and any violation becomes sin (in his mind) and produces guilt. If the authority tells him that it is God’s will he not eat peas then eating peas will be a sin to him and produce guilt.

We can see this principle at play with the Mormons. The prophet, who they believe speaks for God, tells them God doesn’t want them to drink coffee. A Mormon who thus drinks any amount of coffee violates the law of God (in his mind), sins and feels guilt when he drinks it. On the other hand, a Methodist recognizes no such authority, sees no sin in drinking coffee and feels no guilt.

Since humans do not receive laws directly from a heavenly being we must receive them from some earthly authority. Unfortunately, this substitution of an earthly authority for the voice of God is the Beast as mentioned in the Book of Revelation.

When the scriptures talk about Jesus saving us from our sins the real meaning of this is that he came to release us from the power of human authorities that produce guilt, which pain of guilt can follow us to the next world. He also came to release us from sin as it was defined in his time.

The word sin comes from the Greek word HAMARTANO which means “to miss the mark.” In other words when the Greeks, 2000 years ago, shot at a target with an arrow and missed they “sinned” (HAMARTANO) or missed the target. Therefore, to sin is to make an error. Jesus came to correct our errors which is to save us from our sins. One of the biggest errors that we fall prey to is the acceptance of an outward authority as speaking for God, thus creating many unnecessary laws that result in guilt and pain.

Notice how Jesus attempted to correct this false idea:

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matt 22:37-40

So on what hangs all the law and the prophets? The law of love.

What does this mean?

It means that if you are motivated within from true spiritual love that you will automatically follow all the laws of God and guilt will have no power over you. He who is motivated by love needs no commands or law from outer authority for he has the law written in his heart as predicted in scripture:

“After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, (no more outward authorities) and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 31:33-34

True salvation from sin comes from the realization that sin is merely an error which can be corrected by listening to the inner voice of God that speaks to the heart and mind.

True salvation from sin is given in this verse:

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written IN THEIR FOREHEADS.” Rev 14:1

The key to escaping guilt from sin is to realize that the Father, God, is in your forehead or within your own mind. You escape the outward authorities trying to control you by replacing them with your true source which is God within yourself. It is as Jesus said, “the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21.

The wages of sin are death, but by the time taxes are taken out, it’s just sort of a tired feeling. – Paula Poundstone

Momentum

Momentum

Previously we were discussing a principle called “Pushing the Boundaries.” I asked the group what was the real principle behind it and received a number of answers and I believe each person participating guessed a different principle. They couldn’t all be right, could they?

Well, they all could be partially correct for many different principles are at play in everything we do, just as there are many parts to the elephant. As I said in my recent post – even scratching an itch has principles and forces at play.

On the other hand, there are some things that play out where a core principle is involved and this is one.

The core principle is momentum or the built-up inertia of force. I think the group will see this as I explain.

According to this principle an object in motion will stay in motion unless it is stopped by a force equal to that which is keeping it in motion.

Now when a kid gets his desires in motion for something he wants [like a new video game] the parent may at first dismiss the expressed desire and think that will be the end of it, but it often is not.

The kid has set his desires in motion, desires that have energy behind them, and the parent keeps getting hit with this energy time and time again. Finally, he gets worn down and buys the video game. The purchase is the counter force that neutralizes the energy of the kid’s momentum.

Another parent may not have money to buy the game and lash back at the kid with anger. If the anger has equal energy to the momentum of the desire then the kid will give up for the time being.

Many people visit salespeople thinking they are just going to look, but are not going to buy anything just yet. Then they wind up buying everything but the kitchen sink.

Why?

Because a good salesperson uses the principle of momentum. He throws desire energy at them again and again and if the customers find themselves moving in a current toward the dotted line and they do not counter with high resistance they follow the path of least resistance and will purchase. By the time that they have been hit with the power of momentum they may feel it is easier to spend a bundle of money rather than to resist.

Right now, president Obama is creating momentum behind his jobs bill. It could be the worst bill since the beginning of time, but the appeal to jobs for those who are desperate is great. Since he is pitching this new stimulus again and again the momentum is building and can only be stopped by opposing forces. Some opposing forces have surfaced but some version of this is likely to get through unless the opposing force is increased.

Hierarchical Manifestation

A reader makes this comment: “Something that stood out to me in one of the DK quotes that perhaps you could comment on JJ?

“The Hierarchy incarnates on Earth again, and for the first time since its last incarnation in Atlantean days. It is, however, a group incarnation and not the incarnation of individual Members. This is probably a subtle point too difficult for you to grasp.”

Back then this would seem puzzling but since JJ’s teachings have come to light I assume this is the human molecule/s he is speaking of here? How else can the hierarchy incarnate on the earth again but not as individuals? But humans building the body they will incarnate into in the form of the human molecule?

JJ: Not very often does someone point out something DK said that I missed, but you just did and I’m glad you posted this as it indeed points toward the Molecular Order which will indeed be a manifestation of the Hierarchy.

The point he was making would have been difficult to grasp for those who did not yet know about the Molecular Relationship, but now makes perfect sense in hindsight.

Members of the Hierarchy will manifest periodically as regular mortals but they will increasingly manifest through individual overshadowing and then though human molecules as they come into being.

Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly. – Robert F Kennedy

Dealing With Conflict

Dealing With Conflict

A short time ago it was suggested that a molecule could be created through online communications. One of the things that will have to be dealt with in a molecule will be various disagreements. Since we had one recently, I thought it may be a good opportunity to illustrate two things. One is how difficult and slow it is to solve any problem online. We could have probably hashed out this Awlaki problem in person within an hour or so but here we have spent many days and intensive hours in writing and still we have not gotten beyond the first simple point of whether Obama’s action to kill Awlaki was legal.

The second problem that is illustrated is how difficult it is to solve personality disagreements when they come up. What seems simple and clear to some is very complex to others.

Another problem is that many tune out when a round of disagreements materialize whereas in person most people are willing to wade through a couple hours of arbitration.

I tried to break down the various elements of the problem in an attempt to make it solvable. If we started out talking about what is right or wrong then emotions will run high. I thought I would begin by examining whether or not the action was legal – which should have had nothing to do with good or bad, but still, we did not escape dealing with conflict from the beginning.

I think that seeing the futility here of bringing harmony between two good people illustrates the difficulty we will face in creating a united Molecule. Obviously, we will need to draw from a large pool of seekers to create the first unified molecule.

After the first one is created the second will be easier, however.

This arguing process on this concise subject has become very time consuming and not doing anything to convince our one guy who is still disagreeing.

Definitions

A reader and I have about exhausted ourselves going round and round on the first point of our discussion concerning the hit on Awlaki. It is time to ask what the root cause of the disagreement is.

One of the main problems in our communications is that we are using different definitions of core words.

I always use the most standard or obvious meanings of words unless I define them otherwise in my writings. Many people do not do this, especially those who have been immersed in some school of thought with a strong point of view. Such people often use their pet words with unorthodox meanings without explaining they are using non-standard definitions.

There are two words that have been interfering with our communication.

The first is “Right.”

Our friend thinks that the noun or legal “right” is similar in meaning to the word when it is used as an adjective or adverb. In other words, you have a right to do a thing if it is right, moral and of good report.

He thus sees himself as having a right to own a gun because it is a good thing that we have the freedom to bear arms.

It is good that we have free speech therefore it is our right, even if it was not granted by the constitution or by any law.

The trouble with using this definition is that following it can get such a believer in trouble.

My friend Wayne went by this definition and thought it was right, moral and good that he should be able to drive without a license. Therefore, he thought he had “the right” to do so and went ahead and did it. This bullheadedness on his part brought him a tremendous amount of grief and expense. He was arrested regularly and several times spent time in jail. Not only me and my wife, but numerous friends tried talking him into getting a license, arguing that it would make his life so much easier. Unfortunately, he thought it was his right to drive without a license because it was immoral for the State to decree otherwise.

Wayne also thought it was his right to not pay income taxes. Because the tax was immoral in his eyes he just did not pay for about 40 years of his life. He would get calls every few years from the IRS but he told them that if they came to his door he would be waiting with a shotgun. Amazingly, that seemed to keep them at bay until he died.

He didn’t have such good luck with the city though. He put up some buildings on his property without building permits and the city fined him on a monthly basis. Again, when the city threatened other action he told them he would be waiting with a shotgun and that seemed to physically hold them off but he had so many liens slapped on his property I don’t think his daughter got a penny of inheritance at his death.

I could write a book about Wayne’s unusual ways. I left out a lot of good stuff about him in The Immortal because I didn’t want to offend him or get him in trouble, but now he’s passed that won’t be such a concern.

Anyway, Wayne seemed to look at rights the same way our current reader does and it led to all kinds of trouble and possibly an early death. He wasn’t very happy with his life and didn’t even want a long life.

When I have been speaking of rights, I have used the common definition which is, “legal authority.” If I have a legal right to do something then I will not live in fear of being arrested. We have the right to free speech and even have the right to criticize the president legally.

In North Korea they do not have that right and would be arrested if citizens criticize their Dear Leader there.

The second word our reader and I are having a problem with is “legal.” Again I use the common definition that the dictionary says is something “allowed by law.”

On the other hand, our friend associates legal with morality and feels that if something is illegal it is immoral. On the other hand, moral things are legal. Therefore, if he is doing good works and seems to be harming no one then he is always legal even if the cops and judges say he is breaking the law.

A member suggested that he use a term more in harmony with our legal system to enhance communication.

That would be helpful but we have probably gone as far as possible with the communication barriers we have. Our reader simply thinks that killing Awlaki was not legal and a violation of rights because it was immoral plain and simple.

It is difficult to turn around a person’s value judgments. For instance, I love my kids and no one is going to talk me out of this no matter what facts they present.

I think the rest of the group are pretty much in agreement on the Awlaki situation and the one who disagrees is merely using a different definition of terms.

The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it. – George Bernard Shaw

The Spiritual Flow

The Spiritual Flow

A reader quotes me as saying:

“… one cannot rule anyone out for being in a molecule who is sincere, who seeks the truth and has a cooperative spirit.”

and in response to this question:

“If folks were to decide that they trusted the Molecular Initiate enough to argue/debate but ultimately allow him to make the final decisions, whilst still always SEEKING their own soul contact – would that work?”,

I replied:

“Yes, that would work as long as there is no resentment or grievance.”

Please give some additional light on this.

JJ: Let’s start with your first quote:

“… one cannot rule anyone out for being in a molecule who is sincere, who seeks the truth and has a cooperative spirit.”

My point was that one cannot rule such people out. That doesn’t mean that all who are sincere and cooperative will be workable in a molecule. My point was that one doesn’t have to be a high initiate, but many aspirants who are sincere with a cooperate spirit could reach the group soul contact necessary create the spiritual flow.

When the molecules are created there will be siftings made. The original net has to gather from a large variety as we are doing now. If we do not give all sincere people fair consideration then we may miss some good molecular applicants.

Concerning your second quote it applies to those seeking consideration for molecular membership. True membership can only be attained through group soul contact and is not up to the molecular leader, but will be affirmed by the Spirit if the Christ. The leader’s job is to only facilitate the process.

In the previous example three who disagreed voiced different opinions but still managed to see through the eyes of the soul. One did not. Some disagreements are of no consequence. Others have to be harmonized before there can be group soul contact.

In the reference you made my next statement was:

“A person has to have a degree of soul contact for a molecule to work, but if he ceases progressing toward Spirit then it will only be a matter of time before he has a falling out with the leader or other members.”

This happened with the fourth person.

The tricky fact is this. One doesn’t have to be perfect by any means to be a part of a molecule, but it is crucial that he not be a block to the spiritual energy or group soul contact will just not be there and if it is not there the molecule will not materialize.

It is going to be a tricky thing indeed to create the first molecule without hurting some feelings and appearing to be exclusive.

On the other hand, those who are not workable for the first molecule may become ready for the second or third one.

Question: I know JJ is an earned authority in many respects for most of us, so I was just wondering if JJ thinks he is ready to lead a Molecule or if he might want a few more years/Principles before going for it.

JJ: I’m probably as ready as I will ever be but that is not what is needed right now. These teachings must reach a much larger group of people throwing out a larger net. When the net gets large enough the real work will begin.

A formation of a group a 24 people does not a molecule make. True membership is only attained when there is group soul contact. When this happens then all the 24 will become actual members until the time comes blockages must be removed or neutralized so there can be a link which allows the spiritual flow.

Question: Will a molecule have full time soul contact after it is created?

The first group soul contact of all the members together is a major accomplishment but it is just the beginning. This doesn’t mean the group will have instant soul contact on demand any more than happens with the individual when he gets his first contact.

The first contact is important because at that point all members will realize that a living molecule is indeed possible. The concept will no longer be theory, but reality.

However, the next step is crucial. This involves working together in harmony while seeking continued contact until the group is stable in the soul. A number of members will come and go before this is likely to happen.

The years that both John the Baptist and Jesus spent with the disciples was a part of their training toward this end and it wasn’t until the day of Pentecost that the overshadowing life finally incarnated in the group. This group had the advantage of being a witness to the resurrected Jesus which was indeed a unifying experience.

Question: Will each member INDIVIDUALLY [have to] be able to contact the soul at will/need also? Or is there a group dynamic at play that assists them at it together as a group but not necessarily individually/personally?

Some will have their first potent soul contact as a group but may not be far enough along the path to have consistent individual contact – though on subtle planes all the pure in heart have some type of contact – often unrealized.

Question: Does even one person out of harmony obstruct the spiritual flow into the molecule?

If the answer sought is essential to the oneness of the group this is correct.

Paul was an advanced soul but he had disagreements with Peter and other disciples so he was never a part of the molecule. He sacrificed greater spiritual contact to do things his own way. It was unfortunate that his slant on the teachings of Jesus was preserved and dominated more than the unified apostles. Here’s a couple quotes from DK about Paul:

“Starting with St. Paul, the theologians interpreted His [Christ] words in such a manner that they served to bridge the gap between the spiritual future of the world and the Jewish dispensation which should have been passing out. So effective has been their work that the teachings of the loving, simple Son of God have been largely ignored; the failure of Christianity can be traced to its Jewish background [emphasised by St. Paul], which made it full of propaganda instead of loving action, which taught the blood sacrifice instead of loving service, and which emphasised the existence of a wrathful God, needing to be placated by death, and which embodied the threats of the Old Testament Jehovah in the Christian teaching of hell fire.

“This situation is one which the Christ is seeking to alter.” Externalization of the Hierarchy, Page 543

“In the past, the keynote of the Christian religion has been death, symbolised for us in the death of Christ and much distorted by St. Paul in his effort to blend the new religion which Christ brought with the old blood religion of the Jews. In the cycle which Christ will inaugurate after His reappearance, the goal of all the religious teaching in the world will be the resurrection of the spirit in mankind;” Reappearance of the Christ, Page 30

Even though Paul had soul contact his strong personality kept him from becoming one with the molecule and he wound up introducing Christianity’s’ most destructive doctrines through his own personality efforts.

The story of Paul also illustrates that one doesn’t have to be in a molecule to do great works. Paul had his faults but he was still a great initiate.

Question: What happens to the incarnating life of the molecule if the flow becomes interrupted?

The entity doesn’t incarnate until the molecule is stable. After that if there is an interruption of the energy flow the one who is the cause is merely replaced. Remember each molecule has associate members and one of these can replace one of the 24 at any time.

Question: How likely is it that a functioning member of a molecule could drop out of alignment?

Once the experience of the spiritual link is achieved the member then knows what it feels like and he is likely to be stable and have a sense when he is getting out of alignment and correct it. Us humans, of course are not perfect so there is always a possibility one may lose the connection, though his brothers and sisters will seek to remind him to keep his mind steady in the light
